A/N: Again this was an old draft so sorry if the quality is not the best,i tried to edit some stuff but it's 3 am right now so idk what i was doing 💀, also there might be some typos sorry for that. And finally just note that english is not my first language but yeah enjoy ~~ (also i just realised how long this is)
Jake has been always the top of his class, most of his time is around his books, not having a single friend because for him that means wasting time. So it was quite surprising when his parents decided to move to a new house, and in the middle of the school semester, no less. He didn't like that at all.But when he arrived in his new home, Jake didn't feel so bad anymore. It was a really big house, almost as big as his old school, and with the biggest library he'd ever seen, even bigger than the town's. Not having to worry about leaving his friends was also one of the things that didn't let him have ones, they have to move a lot because of his dad's work so things weren't adding up anyways.
It was Jake's first day in this new school, spending the whole night studying to catch up to their pace and also to maintain his top student image, he went to the asigned classroom. As he expected, no one knew who he was, everyone looked at him weirdly and a boy with glasses even whispered to the person next to him that he "looked like a nerd".He sat down and waited for the class to start, the teacher arrived a few minutes later and greeted the students before calling the attention to the new student. "Everyone, please, give a warm welcome to our new student, Jake. Now, I don't want anyone disturbing his studies, if you do I will make sure the principal knows." the teacher said, giving a stern look at some boys in the back, one of them was the same one who had made fun of Jake's appearance. The boys in the back, as if sensing their teacher's glare, tried to look as innocent as possible. Some of the other kids were talking about the new student while the rest were too focused on their phones or books. Jake nontheless ignored and filtered any meaningless noise, focusing on the class instead. "Alright, now, open your books on page 249. Y/n, you can read until page 270, then we will move on to the next chapter." The teacher said, making Jake shift his attention to you.
You nodded, but Jake was sure you hadn't heard the teacher, as your eyes were glued to the phone, scrolling through something. You didn't even try to look like you were reading, and when the teacher noticed this she went over and took the phone away from you, Jake shaked his head unimpressed not liking that you made him waste a full 10 minutes. You tried to convince her to give it back, but the teacher, Mrs. Smith, didn't relent and kept it until the end of class. Jake tried to focus again on the class, but his mind was somewhere else, you not shutting up talking loud enough as if u were sitting next to him, he huffed turning around to face you and giving you a cold glare, making you stop and shiver, not saying anything else but finding interest on him, you've always liked nerds. He sighed, relieved, and continued to pay attention to the class, writing down everything he was supposed to and more. Once class ended, everyone left except you, Jake and Mrs. Smith, who wanted to speak to him about some important things, as well as talk to him about his grades and how he would fit into the class. You stood up and stretched, yawning before heading towards the teacher to get ur phone back, not caring much for what the two were discussing, "Oh, Mrs. Smith, do you happen to have my phone? You took it earlier and I just want to go to my next class." You said, trying to sound as polite as possible to avoid getting scolded, you didn't care that much but the principal had told you to behave.
"Oh, yes. Here you go. But next time please try not to use it during class, or else I'll have to take it away again, alright?" She handed you the phone, you quickly nodded and thanked her, turning on the phone and walking away rolling your eyes. "Oh, and before I forget, here are the things that are new to the semester. Jake, I'm sure you'll do great." She handed him a folder full of papers, which he took, thanked her and left. He went over the papers as he walked, not paying much attention to where he was going, but making sure to read every line, his eyes were so focused on the paper that he didn't even notice you. "Hey, watch out." But you didn't, instead, the two of you bumped into each other, dropping the papers and Jake huffed losing the spot he was reading. You fell, not being able to catch yourself because your hands were holding the phone, you scoffed annoyed. "What the fuck, watch where you're going." "Says the one who didn't watch their step, dumbass." Jake mumbled, picking the papers. "What was that?" You asked, not quite hearing him, and not happy about being called a dumbass.
Jake turned to face you, giving you a stern look while collecting his papers not wanting to drag this convo any longer. You were about to argue back when you noticed the papers he was collecting, and how much there was. You got curious, how could this nerd get so much extra credit on the first day? "Hey, let me see." You took the papers away from him, skimming through them. "Are you serious?" U exclaimed,"Hey, give it back. And watch your tone, it's very rude." Jake glared at you. "Why should I?" You smirked. "What are you gonna do about it? Tell on me? Go ahead." You said mockingly, Jake massaged his forehead annoyed and grabbed the papers, pulling them from you, making you stumble and drop the phone again, "Hey!" You yelled, looking at your phone. "Do you have any idea how expensive that was?!" "Then be more careful with it, maybe then it won't fall" Jake shrugged, fixing the papers and putting them in his backpack, you rolled your eyes and picked up your phone checking it and you huffed relieved seeing that it didn't break. U bit ur lips this new student is really getting into ur nerves, but you had a better way to deal with him. "Whatever, loser." You turned around and left, not wanting to get in trouble on the first day.
Jake chuckled a little bit as u left, "what a great first day" he mumbled with sarcasm in his tone, heading to his next class but he stopped mid-way, he was so focused on what had happened that he didn't realize how lost he was, not having any idea of where he had to go and now his late for class, great. He spent a long time looking for class that now he has arrived late, sighing relieved when he finds the door open and walks in. "Sorry for arriving late, sir. I'm the new student, Jake." "Don't worry about it. Go ahead and take a seat. You're in the back." the teacher said, and Jake nodded, walking towards the back and sitting down trying to ignore the fact that u were his seatmate as you were already sleeping or that's what he thought, the teacher didn't even stop to breath in the passing 30 minutes making everyone yawn well everyone appart from Jake, he was busy writing when he let a very loud gasp making everyone look at him questionably, he excused himself feeling embarrassed as he felt your hand  wondering in his thighs above his jeans, his mind was racing and he wasn't able to focus at all, he looked at you and noticed the smirk on your lips as u rested ur head on the table,
oh that was not good. The teacher didn't say anything and continued the lesson, but Jake couldn't focus anymore. He couldn't believe this, he never let anything shift his attention before neither was he touched this way by a girl in a fucking classroom. He shifted on his chair, trying to move away from you, but that only caused your hand to travel higher, making his face flush and you grin liking the reaction u got from him, ur grin got bigger when u felt his bulge on ur hand. Jake felt a chill go down his spine, he was not enjoying this at all, why would he? This was just distracting, and he wanted to stay focused that's what he tried to convince himself but the fact that he stopped getting away from you made you continue ur movements, you caressed his thigh through the fabric, and then moved on to his bulge, squeezing it gently and rubbing him.
He gasped and tensed up, closing his eyes and trying not to move. He bit his lips as the sensation was getting stronger, and soon his cock was rock hard, throbbing under your touch, Jake was so new to this feeling he was going crazy, you smirked as u felt his member twitch, you looked at him and could see the embarrassment in his face, u leaned on him and whispered quietly "You're enjoying this, aren't you? Naughty boy." you teased, licking his ear. Jake bit his lips and moved his head, trying to get away from you, he was so scared that someone is gonna see the both of u, and seconds later the entire class was staring at him wondering what's wrong when he hitted his knee on the table while trying to squirm. He didn't know what to do, this was kinda embarrassing but it feels so good, and he didn't want it to stop, he opened his mouth to ask what you were doing, but when he felt your hand squeeze him, he gasped and couldn't hold back a moan, causing him to cover his mouth. He was redder than a tomato, and he couldn't look at the teacher or the other students afraid to get caught, you continued, enjoying his reactions, and the fact that everyone was focused on their things. It was obvious that Jake wasn't getting away, and that was fine with you. He was hard and throbbing, and his precum had leaked, creating a small dark stain on his jeans. Jake bit his lip and tried to muffle his moans, but you didn't want him to almost punishing him for what he did previously, you squeezed him again, rubbing his length. "You're so hard, Jake. I didn't think you would like this. You're so naughty~" you whispered.
Jake whined and closed his eyes, shaking his head, not wanting to admit that neither to hear it now it was hard enough from his to muffle his sounds, but it was true, he did like this. And the fact that he was hard as a rock proved it if only he didn't have to be in a space full of people he'd acted differently. He was getting close you could feel it as he was breathing heavily  his eyes were tightly shut, his hips were moving with your hand and you thanked god that u were sitting at the end of the class or the teacher would have seen everything, you sped up your movements and that's when Jake lost it, his body tensed up and his hips buckled, he groaned as quietly as he could before releasing his load on his jeans, making a small wet spot. You grinned, stopping your movements and moving away from him. Jake opened his eyes and looked at his pants, noticing the stain, and realizing what just happened, he looked around, seeing everyone staring at him, the teacher was waiting for him to answer a question, and the rest were looking at his flushed form face confused. He gulped and cleared his throat, looking at the teacher, not knowing what the question was.
"Are you okay, Jake? Are you feeling sick?" The teacher asked. "N-no... Sorry, I'm okay..." Jake said. "I would like to believe you, but, I'll let it pass since it's your first day. U should focus or u wont catch up, understood?" , "Yes, sir..." Jake nodded. "Good. Now, can anyone tell me the answer to the question?" The teacher looked around, waiting for someone to answer. "Uh... Y/n." The teacher looked at you. "Yes, sir. 54." You said, knowing the answer and not caring enough about this class. "Correct. Thank you, Y/n. Now, let's move on." The teacher turned around and started writing on the board. Jake felt relieved that he got out of this situation without getting caught, but now he had to deal with the mess you made, his jeans were ruined and he turned to look at you, seeing the mischievous smile on your face. He knew you weren't gonna leave him alone. He sighed and looked away, trying not to think about it and focus on class. But he couldn't. For the rest of the class, Jake couldn't focus, and his thoughts kept going back to you, and what had happened. His cheeks were pink, and his dick was still hard, the cum stain on his jeans didn't go away, and every time he moved, he felt it rub against him.
Once the class ended, Jake gathered his things and left as fast as he could, not wanting to see anyone, or get more attention. He rushed out of the classroom and walked quickly, heading towards the bathroom. He needed to change and get out of this, it was too much for him, he got to the bathroom taking care of the mess and removing his jacket tacking it around his waist while getting his dresshirt out of his pants hoping that i'll hide something before getting out of the bathroom, he sighed trying to calm down as he felt a hand on his shoulder "Hey, nerd. Wait." It was you, smirking. Jake turned around, facing you, his face still a little flushed from earlier and his body tensed upon seeing you, "Y-yes?" Jake asked his words getting out more broken than he anticipated,
he cleared his throat waiting for you to speak, u scanned him the grin never leaving ur lips " looks like you took care of yourself already" u whined disapointed "too bad i wanted to help you" "Wdym?" he cleared his throat again fixing his hair as he felt some sweat forming at the end of his forehead "no need to do that" he mumbled looking at you giving him your puppy eyes, he shifted his eyes to look elsewhere just wanting to go home at this rate feeling tired already but there was no way u'd give up, you really wanted him to lose it so curious to see what he'd do. "But, Jake... You looked so cute when you were enjoying yourself..." You purred, putting a hand on his chest. "I wanted to make you feel good..." he furrowed his eyebrows not loving how you are adressing him "s-stop" his voice was breaking, he didn't know what was going on but he didn't like this. "Aww, come on, Jake... Just admit it... You liked it... And I'm sure you would love it if I continued..." You smiled, and moved your hand down, resting it on his lower stomach. "Stop, we are still in school!" He exclaimed, his voice slightly louder. "Oh, come on, Jake... There's no one here..." You grinned, pressing your palm against his crotch. Jake bit his lips, holding back a moan and his eyes widened when he felt your hand press against him.
His pants were too tight, and he was already half hard. You didn't know how or when but you felt ur back pressed on the wall Jake leaning to face you as his lips were inches away from your ear "I get that you want to be fucked soo badly but i have things to do" Jake whispered you moaned feeling him suck on your earlobe before he left leaving you hot and confused, a smirk formed at your lips licking them "ahhh m gonna have so much fun" u mumbled adjusting ur clothes and heading to meet one of your friends from the other class. After the incident with you, Jake avoided you as much as he could. But that didn't stop you from teasing him, and he always had an excuse not to interact with you, or anyone else, really. He focused on his studies more than the normal days trying to distract himself from you, he was starting to get really frasturated by all of your teasing. You on the other hand were getting annoyed, you had tried so many times to get close to him, or just talk to him, but he always had an excuse to brush you off, and he always seemed so busy. You knew he was trying to avoid you, and you were determined to make him give in taking it as a challenge at that point.
One day, during class, the teacher decided to choose randomly two people for next week's project and to ur luck Jake was paired up with you for the presentation and you couldn't be happier. He wasn't too happy about it that's what you noticed but he had no choice, and the teacher said the two of you would have to meet outside of class. That's when the fun began. Jake was sure that he was screwed. You had him trapped. You were gonna make him lose his control, and there was no way out of it. It was the day you r supposed to meet up for your project, Jake suggested going to a cafe nearby the school but you being your stubborn self insisted to meet up in ur house saying that it'd be better and calmer and blah blah blah, Jake couldn't help it but agree after his failed attempts. He was standing in front of your door inhaling deeply before knocking a few times, you were quick to open the door smiling at him and welcoming him in.
He was surprised when he saw ur outfit, your small shorts not leaving anything for imagination, ur blue crop top hugging ur breasts perfectly, he clicked his tongue rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly when you told him to sit in the living room and you went to get some water, coming back quickly and sitting next to him body stuck to his with the glass in ur hands. "So" Jake started wanting to start with the project and leave quickly "we should start, what's the theme?" He asked looking through his backpack and taking out a notebook and a pencil, u rolled ur eyes at his words "come on, Jakey, you know we don't have to do this right now." u said handing him the glass of water which he accepted "it's not healthy for you to be always studying, let's take a break." "We need to get this done, Y/n." He said sternly, sipping the water. "We can't waste time. So, what's the theme?" "The theme is... The importance of a good education." You smiled, remembering the topic that you picked out. "Seriously?" Jake said mockingly knowing very well how u r always sleeping during classes or just on your phone. "Yeah, seriously." You smiled, taking the glass from his hands and setting it on the table. "Don't worry. I'm not stupid." "I know." He said, and before you could say anything else, he pulled out his phone. "Let's start, shall we?"
"Sure, Jake." You smiled, and started explaining your ideas for the project, and the two of you started working. Jake didn't like that you kept distracting him flashing ur cleavage every now and then but he couldn't say anything cause you were being very professional. He didn't think it was possible, but you were doing a really good job. Maybe this wasn't so bad. You noticed his reaction and you couldn't help but smirk a little, you knew he was gonna lose it and soon. The two of you worked for a couple hours, and by the time it was over, Jake was exhausted. He was glad you were smart enough to not screw this up, but he was still suspicious. You had been nothing but nice the whole time, and it was a bit out of ordinary. You stretched and smiled. "That was a good session, huh?" "Yeah. I'm glad we were able to get some work done." Jake said, packing his stuff. "Yeah. Me too." You smiled, and stood up. "I'm gonna get some snacks, I'll be right back." Jake nodded and waited for you. You came back a few minutes later, carrying a tray of fruit, cookies, and drinks. You set the tray on the coffee table and sat next to him, Jake had some cookies eyes not leaving his phone for a couple of minutes before speaking "Alright, I think we should stop here." , "Oh, why?" You asked, tilting your head. "Because we're finished." Jake said, closing his notebook. "We're not done yet." You pouted. "I wanna hang out a bit." "Hang out? With me?" Jake asked raising one of his eyebrows, "Why not?" You shrugged. "Well, we have nothing in common." Jake said, standing up. "Besides, I have a lot of work to do. And so do you." "Aw, come on, Jakey." You pouted, wrapping your arms around his torso and pulling him down onto the couch. "We have plenty of time." "No, we don't." Jake said removing ur hands from his body, but you were faster as u landed one of them on his crotch making him gasp loudly.
"W-what are you doing?", "What's wrong, Jake? It's just a hand." You smiled, squeezing his crotch. Jake exhaled his eyes fierceful as he looked u down tongue clicking, one of his hands sliding his hair up "you are really a slut ha" "Only for you, Jakey~" You purred, stroking his growing erection. Jake groaned and bit his lip. "Stop i don't think you'll be able to handle what's coming!" Jake warned, his tone more stern. "I'll take my chances." You grinned, continuing rubbing him over his pants, Jake growled and grabbed your arm, pulling it away and pinning it to the couch. "You really don't get it, do you? This is the only chance you're gonna get." He growled, tightening his grip on your arm. You winced a little at the pain and bit your lip. "Sorry. I'll behave. Promise just give it to me" you said pouting a bit. "Woah" Jake chuckled lowly, "someone is being a needy slut today." He said having enough from restraining himself his frustration takkng over him, and you moaned loving his choice of words,"Please, Jake. Please. I'm sorry. I'll do whatever you want, anything please" You begged. "Anything? (He paused for a second) but again it's not a surprise after seeing how hard you tried to get to my dick" He hummed licking ur lips slowly. "Yes. Anything. Just fuck me." You begged, and Jake leaned down, kissing you roughly. You moaned, enjoying the kiss, and wrapping your arms around his neck, pulling him closer. He continued kissing you hungrily, his hands exploring your body.
He broke the kiss, and pulled back, staring at you, his eyes moved to your boobs who were almost exposed because of this position, the blue complementing your skin and making him lick his lips constantly, he has never really went with a girl above kissing and touching here and there however he watched enough content to know what to do, his hand groped one of ur breast squeezing it roughly his nails digging on the fabric as u moaned loudly. "You're so beautiful, Y/n." Jake whispered, his soft tone contradicting his rough touches, "T-thank you." You said, blushing a little , he smiled seeing how calm you are now that you are getting what u want, he pulled the strap of ur crop top down exposing your breast the sight making him gulp as he massaged the other one he neglected earlier, his other hand moving down to cup your pussy through your shorts making you moan and squirm. He groaned as he felt your wetness through the fabric "Fuck, you're so wet, Y/n." Jake grinned, "Soaking." "J-Jake..." You moaned, arching your back, grinding against his hand. "Shh, isn't that what you wanted? So shut up and enjoy it"he smirked, leaning to deliver kisses on ur neck. He kept rubbing your pussy through ur shorts and you couldn't help but whine wanting to feel him against ur bare skin. He pulled his hand away and looked at you. "You want more, Y/n?" He asked, smirking. You nodded, your chest heaving and your eyes wide. "Then take them off." Jake said. "Your shorts." You gulped, and stood up, pushing your shorts down, and taking them off, tossing them aside.
Jake sat on the couch manspreading a bit and patting his lap, u followed his order and sat on his lap grinding your pussy against his hard member while he cupped ur ass, his hands running over the soft skin, he leaned down and placed his lips on your nipple sucking on it making u throw your head back moaning and grinding ur pussy harder against him. You grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it over his head, tossing it aside and running your hands over his chest. Jake groaned and moved his hands down, hooking his thumbs on the waistband of your panties, pulling them down, you raised your hips, helping him as he pulled them down, tossing them away. His hand went back to cup your pussy, and he moaned feeling the wetness. "God, you're soaked." Jake groaned, running two of his fingers on ur slit, spreading the juices and making you moan loudly, Jake grinned as u were already a mess, and he has just started. "So fucking wet. Just for me." Jake hummed, his fingers playing with your clit, the pleasure making your body jerk. Jake felt his hands act on themselves, his index finger teasing ur entrance making u buckle ur hips, "I'm not gonna do anything if u don't behave, y/n" he growled,
his fingers going to rub your clit roughly, his eyes were focused on ur reaction and you didn't have to try to put up an act, your body was shaking eyes rolling back. You nodded and closed your eyes, biting your lip and trying to stay still, even though all you wanted was to grind your pussy on his fingers, he lifted his free hand spanking ur ass hard making u gasp, your body jerked a bit and Jake rubbed the spot he had spanked, "Good girl." He purred his finger went to tease ur hole once again. He slowly pushed his finger inside, his cock twitching at the feeling of your tight walls. He has only seen a pussy on videos and nothing could compare to the feeling of the real thing, he pushed his finger deeper and moved it in and out slowly, feeling you clench around him. He moved his finger a bit deeper, looking at ur expressions mouth gaped eyes long gone and he grinned. adding another digit and moving it at the same pace, he lifted u a little curling his finger inside you, hitting a sweet spot. "Feels good, huh?" Jake asked and you nodded, moaning loudly, and he spanked you again. "Words." He growled. You gasped, and let a small cry. "Y-yes! It feels so good, Jake!" Jake grinned, and kept moving his finger, hitting that same spot every time. Your body jerked and he noticed how close you were, "you were acting up just a few days ago and look at you now, where did that attitude go ha?" He chuckled when u didn't answer him his fingers reaching deeper making u spasm on his lap,
"Come on, cum for me. Let go." He groaned, his voice husky, and a few seconds later, your pussy clenched around his finger, and you let out a loud moan as you came, squirting all of your juices on his pants, Jake groaned feeling the warmness of ur juices land on his cock, ur body still shaking as he was still moving his fingers inside you, he pulled out groaning at ur attempt to keep him in by squeezing him tightly, his cock throbbing inside his pants as he licked his fingers clean tasting u making you squirm and he gave them to u, you licked them and moaned at the taste, his free hand moved down cupping ur ass before he spanked u again, you moaned loudly and looked at him, "You want me to fuck you, right?" He asked, and you nodded eagerly. "Please." You begged. "You've been such a good girl for me so far, so I'll give it to you." He kissed ur jaw talking over ur skin "but i'll have to punish you for what you did these passing days" he mumbled making u shiver a bit, his hand squeezed ur ass roughly. "Now get up, i'm gonna bend you over the table and fuck your slutty little pussy" he said patting ur core and you whined, but did as he told u, getting up and bending over the table, spreading your legs for him, he groaned at ur eagerness and quickly unbuttoned his pants pulling them down along with his underwear, his cock finally springing free, you looked behind you and bit your lip seeing his length, "wow, you're big." You mumbled. He smirked and leaned over, his body pressing against yours, his lips near your ear. "I'm gonna make sure to make you scream, and never think about going around whoring for nerds again" He whispered, making you whimper, his hands grabbed your ass, giving it a few squeezes, he rubbed his cock on your pussy, making you moan and squirm. "So impatient. Behave." He growled slapping ur inner thighs and steadying u in place
"Sorry" u mumbled trying to stop yourself, Jake smirked and rubbed the tip of his cock against ur clit, making you whine and bite your lip, you felt like you were gonna explode, the teasing was driving you crazy. His hips rolled and his tip poked ur entrance, you moaned and arched your back, trying to take his length inside, he spanked you again making you yelp and he held you down, "i'm the one in charge here, not you" he growled and you nodded, letting out a breathy moan, he pulled back and slapped his cock against your clit a couple times making u shake, the sensation driving u mad and before u could complain his length entered u, the tip slowly entering u and stretching your tight walls making you cry out, "fuck you're tight." Jake groaned, feeling the warmth and wetness of your pussy wrapped around him, the pleasure was almost unbearable, his hand went to massage your ass and squeeze it a few times, his other hand gripping your hip tightly, nails digging into the skin, his eyes were focused on where his cock met your pussy and how he disappeared inside of you. He pushed himself deeper and pulled out slowly, the drag of his length inside you was incredible, you moaned and gripped the edge of the table, your body trembling as he kept thrusting into you, his cock filling you completely. Jake's hand traveled up, his palm resting between your shoulder blades and applying pressure, making your cheek rest against the table. He pulled out and slammed back into you, his balls slapping against you and you let out a loud moan, the feeling was overwhelming.
You felt his fingers grab your hair, pulling you up and his lips were on yours in a matter of seconds, his tongue invading your mouth, the kiss was sloppy yet intense, his thrusts were getting faster, his tongue moving in and out of your mouth, tasting every inch of it. You broke the kiss and let a loud moan, feeling him brush at ur spot, his hand was gripping the hair at the back of your head, his nails digging into the skin and he was panting, his breath fanning your cheek, he closed his eyes enjoying the feeling of ur walls around him, Jake was scared that he'd become addicted to ur pussy the thought of getting out of you was already not clicking with him, his other hand grabbed your hip and he started slamming into you harder, his cock hitting that same spot again, making you scream in pleasure. He groaned, feeling his orgasm building up, his movements became sloppy and his hips stuttered "Fuck, look at u now, taking my cock so well" Jake said, his words coming out in a mix of moans and groans, he let out a low groan and threw his head back, his hips snapping into you a couple more times and he buried himself deep inside of you, cumming and filling your pussy, you moaned at the feeling of his cum filling you and painting your walls white, your legs trembled and you let out a loud moan as your body jerked, reaching your orgasm and squirting all over his cock, your walls tightening around him, milking him. "Fuck" Jake groaned, his hands leaving your hair and hips, his palms resting on the table as he leaned forward, panting heavily, his chest pressed against your back. He was sweating his skin hot.
Jake's cock slipped out of you and he let a small groan. His eyes focused on your pussy and how your juices were mixed with his cum, and the sight alone made him hard again, he grabbed your legs and spread them, making you whine. His other hand stroked his cock and he guided his tip to your pussy, pushing his cock inside making you whine "J-Jake, what are you doing? I'm sensitive." You mumbled, your voice tired. "We're not done yet, baby. I need to teach you a lesson." Jake growled, his hands going to rest on your hips squeezing them, he started thrusting into you roughly, not giving you time to adjust and his hips snapped into you, his balls slapping against your clit, you were a mess, moaning and whimpering, begging for him to stop. Jake growled and bent down, his face next to yours. "I warned you before but u didn't listen. So shut up and take it." He growled, and his hand went to slap your ass, his fingers digging into the flesh. Your body was trembling and the feeling of his cock pounding into you was amazing, it felt so good!
tbh u didn't imagine him to go this hard on you and ohh god how you love it, no one has ever fucked you this good. The sound of his skin slapping against yours and the lewd sounds of his cock entering you filled the room you were a mess, ur hair sticking on ur face, juices mixed with his cum dripping from your pussy messing up the table. Jake groaned, his breathing uneven and his hips stuttered. He was close again, and so were you. "Cum for me, Y/n." Jake groaned, his thrusts were getting faster, he was losing his rhythm eyes closed biting his lower lip until he couldn't hold it anymore, his hand reached ur clit rubbing it fastly making u whimper "OmG" u rolled ur eyes ur release hitting u like a truck and with a couple of hard thrusts he followed u, cumming inside of you, his cum mixing with the previous one, his hips kept rolling, riding out his high, the feeling was intense, his cock twitched and he pulled out, collapsing on the couch, panting heavily. "Holy shit." You mumbled, trying to catch your breath. Jake nodded, running a hand through his hair.
The two of you were quiet for a few minutes, then Jake got up, helping u getting up too and bringing u to the bathroom. "I'll clean the table." Jake said, leaving and coming back with some wet wipes, he cleaned the table looking at u wearing a robe while scanning his body "u okay?" He asked suddenly feeling nervous not knowing what to do now, u smiled and nodded, "yeah, thanks" u mumbled, he nodded back and looked away, he was wearing his boxers now looking at his pants that are full of ur juices, he sighed and grabbed them cleaning them with the wet wipes and getting dressed, u stared at him confused, "what are u doing?" You asked. "Leaving." Jake said, buttoning his shirt.
"It's getting l-late" his voice stuttered when he felt your hand helping him with his shirt, he heard his phone ringing and went to get it seeing his mom's name on the screen, "hi" his voice was low as he answered, and u could hear his mother's voice asking where is he,  he told her that he was busy with his homework and forgot to call, he was glad that his parents are never home so he wouldn't have to explain anything, he bid goodbye to his mom and hang up. "Is everything ok?" You asked, and Jake nodded. "I gotta go." Jake said, gathering his stuff. "I'll see you tomorrow." You said, and Jake nodded, giving you a small smile and leaving, making you finally drop on the floor as u couldn't feel ur legs anymore but u smiled nonetheless u had so much fun, and this will not be the last time for sure.
Woah i couldn't edit this whole thing so m gonna comeback to it after having some sleep, also this was supposed to be a virgin Jake fanfic but yeah i got carried away and forgot about that sorry

A co-workers, enemies to friends piece for you guys!!
Warnings: mentions of cheating, rude/snippy remarks, alcohol use
WC: like 3-4k?
If there was anyone that frustrated the living daylights out of you in the office, it was Harry. You swore that God had designed him with the sole purpose of irritating you. You didn’t hate him, you didn’t know him that well. But you didn’t get on well with him; you were just opposites and often times had opposing views or solutions for things. He wasn’t lazy but he distracted everyone all the time because he finished his work quite fast. Like now…
You bit your lip, trying to hold back from saying something as he and your cubicle neighbor, Adam, laughed loudly about something. It was hard to concentrate on your editing with this racket! Music distracted you instead of help you concentrate, so you didn’t want to put on headphones, you really needed the quiet. After another minute of their commotion you shot up from your seat and went over to the little stool you had against your shared wall with Adam and stepped on so you could peer over the division.
“Can you two shut it, please? I have a last minute thing to do and the deadline’s in an hour!” You implored with a frown on your face and they both glanced over to you, smiling fading.
“Yeah. Sorry, Y/N.”, “Sorry.” They both mumbled before you clambered down and went back to your seat.
Harry wasn’t a dick, if things got to a point like this, where you had to say something to him, he always apologized. You had no idea why you suddenly developed this dislike towards him, but you just did and you could tell it bothered him. You sighed when you heard two gentle knocks on the frosted glass sliding door of your divider.
“What?” You asked monotonously and when there was no response you rolled your chair over and opened it up, startling Harry who was scribbling on a sticky note now. “What is it, Harry?”
“Nothing, just wanted to apologize again for the noise.” He offered another apology and you just nodded once. “Ummm…so what piece are you editing?” He asked, taking a step closer to you and you sighed.
“Harry, all the time I waste chatting with you about work is time I could spend actually doing my work.” You pointed out and he nodded.
“Right.” He hummed with a tight lipped smile before he took off without another word. You bit your lip nervously, feeling a bit bad over the way you’d dealt with this situation. You’d been rude for no reason and seeing him leaving all defeated like that made you feel like shit.
“That was harsh.” Adam said, peering over the division and you glanced over at him and nodded.
“I know. I’ll make it right later.” You assured him and he smiled and nodded. You got on well with Adam, you wouldn’t say you were close but you were friends, he was the one that bought you the stool to be able to look over the 6 foot division between the two of you. You could have lunch or get drinks after work sometimes and carry conversations, and more importantly, you could hold each other accountable. Whether that was in your personal conversations or with things at work.
“Good.” He said and then went to sit down again.
With the peace and quiet you were able to finish editing before the hour deadline came and the most stressful part of your day was over. You hated when the did last minute changes or additions to the magazine but it was part of the job. You couldn’t imagine how much more stressful it’d be to work for the newspaper or even for the TV where changes could be made in real time! So you let go of that frustrating part of your morning and then went to lunch. You stopped by the coffee shop around the corner and got Harry an iced, Vanilla Cinnamon latte. It was the office favorite and the perfect peace offering. So you made your way over to Harry’s cubicle with the little note you had scribbled preemptively (you were hoping he was still on lunch because confrontation was hard) but you saw him sitting there just scrolling through his phone. You bit your lip and stuffed the note in your pocket before knocking on the frame of the sliding door.
“Harry?” You said as you knocked and he turned around. When he saw it was you, he straightened up.
“Hey, Y/N.” He greeted you with a half-smile.
“Hey.” You said nervously, “Ummm, s-sorry for being rude to you earlier. I was annoyed and I took it out on you and Adam.” You explained, “Well, mostly on you.” You added.
“That’s alright, last minute additions are a pain.” He said and you nodded, relieved at his understanding.
“Yeah…so I ummm, got you this.” You said extending the drink to him, “It’s the vanilla cinnamon one that everyone seems to love.” You shared and he smiled at you.
“Wow, thank you so much. You didn’t have to.” He thanked you and you shook your head.
“It’s nothing really.” You assured him, “Just a peace offering.” You said and he nodded.
“Well thanks again.”
“Yeah, you’re welcome. Sorry again for earlier.” You said before hurrying off to your desk.
It was maybe 20 minutes later when you went to the kitchenette to grab some more water when you saw two of the girls from campaigning sitting at the table in there. The one called Destiny looked giddier than ever as she sipped on a latte, a latte that when she set it down had Harry’s name written in black sharpie. He had regifted your peace offering?! You were livid and felt betrayed! Maybe you had pushed him too far this time and he disliked you now too! You couldn’t help it when you mouth opened to ask her about it.
“H-hey Destiny, did someone do a coffee run?” You asked her and she shook her head and smiled cheerfully.
“No, Harry got it for me over lunch. Said he knew I liked these. He’s so sweet!” She said and you were holding off an eye-twitch.
“Wow, so sweet.” You said and then rushed back out without your water. You started to storm over to his area but then stopped yourself. You didn’t like him and he clearly didn’t like you, which was fine. This was fine and yes, your feelings were hurt, but you’d done the same to him and well, a coffee was nothing compared to hurt feelings so you just trudged back to your desk and sat with a huff.
“What’s wrong?” You heard Adam ask from his cubicle.
“Nothing, just forgot to grab water before coming back.” You said and he hummed.
“I’ll be back…” you mumbled before heading back to the kitchen. You were filling up your water bottle when Harry walked in, humming a familiar little tune.
“Oh, hey Y/N!” He greeted you with pep and you turned to him.
“Harry. Did you enjoy your coffee?”
“I did, thank you! It’s not a favorite for nothing!” He said with a smile and you hummed.
“Well good. It’s a lot of people’s favorite here.” You said and he nodded with a smile, but he sensed the awkwardness emanating from you.
“Yeah, it is.” He smiled again as you held eye contact with him for a few seconds and you just walked out without another word.
…. A FEW DAYS LATER ….
It had been a few days and you were still upset that Harry had regifted the coffee you’d bought him. And more than that, it irked you that now he thought you were friends. He’d say hello everyone morning and you’d just respond half-heartedly. He knew better than to strike up conversation while you were in the zone, so to him this was just you acting like you always did. And to you, well he was just lying and being fake, which made you like him even less. All of this was affecting you far more than you cared to admit. It really struck you with awe just how easily he had the others fooled! It was around lunch time when you contacted your best friend, Nina, to see if she wanted to meet up for drinks she agreed and now you had something to look forward to for the rest of the work day.
It was 7 on the dot when you walked in to the bar you’d agreed upon. It was a little bit up-scale, so you’d gone home and changed and done up your makeup a little bit more. Thankfully, the bar top had two open spots so you hurried over and set your purse down on the empty stool to reserve it for Nina. It wasn’t odd that Nina was late, after she had her daughter she was constantly running 15-30 minutes behind everyone. It was annoying but you knew that being a mom was also annoying sometimes, it was a full-time thing, 365/24/7. No days off. Around the 32 minute mark you got a text from her stating that the baby had a fever and she couldn’t leave her with her boyfriend, who was also sick. You sighed and then raised your hand to get the bartender.
“Ready?” He asked as he walked over.
“Yeah, just the espresso martini.” You said.
“Got it. Open or closed tab?”
“Just leave it open.” You said and he nodded before taking your card and setting that up.
You texted Nina back and then just looked around the bar, it was more full now and there were people waiting to sit, so you decided now was a good time to remove your things from the neighboring high chair. And as you gave one more look around the room your eyes landed on none other than Harry Styles. He looked relieved to see you and started making his way over to you. You sighed and turned to face the bar again, but moments later you heard his voice.
“Y/N!” He greeted you.
“Harry.” You mumbled, staring straight ahead.
“Can I…touch you?” He asked and you whipped around quickly, thanking the interior designers that these chairs spun.
“What?!”
“Can I touch you, not in a creepy way! Just, like a hand on your waist or hip?” He asked.
“You may not.” You scoffed.
“Oh my god, please! I ran into my ex outside and she already has another boyfriend! I told her I was seeing someone too because I…felt sad and jealous that she moved on and when he gets here and she gets inside I don’t want to look like a fool.” He explained and you pouted a bit. You knew about about exes that made you feel bad about yourself.
“Fine.” You sighed, “This seat is not gonna be taken anymore so just hop on.” You mumbled and he thanked you as he sat.
“So did you get stood up?” He asked carefully.
“Yeah.”
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s fine, it was by my friend, not a date. Her baby is running a fever.”
“Oh, that’s too bad.”
“Yep.” You hummed and then moments later your drink came and Harry ordered the same. Which then reminded you of why you were so annoyed at him.
“Hey, I also wanted to ask, maybe this is not the time and place to have this conversation, but do you…have a problem with me?” He asked and you turned to him.
“Not really, I just…don’t mesh with you.” You said simply and he frowned. Everyone meshed with Harry. He was an air sign, he was freewheeling and fun and kind and creative!
“Well, why not?”
“I don’t know, I just don’t like your manner of doing things. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, I mean you’re getting things done and everyone likes the outcome of your work, it’s just the way you go about it. It doesn’t work for me. It’s not personal, Harry.”
“You make it personal though.” He said and you frowned.
“I don’t.”
“You do.” He insisted, “I’ve left it alone because you’re just how you are and everyone tells me that it’s not me, that you’re just…a certain way, but I don’t know you that well so…” he trailed off and you frowned.
“You talk about me to other people?”
“Sometimes…just to ask if they’ve heard you say anything about me, you know? Not to talk badly of you. But sometimes people come to me about it. I mean, it’s not like they don’t see the difference of how you treat them versus me.” He said and your brows furrowed. You thought your dislike towards him was discrete but everyone knew apparently.
“And everyone thinks I’m…a bitch?” You asked and he bit his lip nervously.
“I’ve never said that to anyone by the way, but people have…used that term from time to time.” He explained and you frowned, “I know we don’t know each other all that well but to me it just seems you’re just…a grump. Not a…well, you know.” He shrugged.
“Hey Harry!” You both heard and spun around to see who you presumed was his ex standing there with a tall man on her arm. She was breathtaking. You weren’t insecure about your looks all that often, but right now you were. You swear you’d seen this woman in some ad on the internet before.
“Hi Eden, nice to see you again.” He smiled.
“Yeah, we ran into each other outside.” She explained, “This is Gerard, my boyfriend.” She introduced him, “He models too.” She said and you and Harry both nodded.
“I’d imagine so!” Harry smiled easily. You were impressed at his composure after he admitted to you that he felt sad and jealous about this minutes before. Your irritation and insecurity would’ve flared far too easily and you would’ve made a fool of yourself. “Nice to meet you, Gerard.” He said extending his hand and shook it. “This is Y/N, my date tonight.” He said and then you felt Eden’s scrutinizing gaze down your face and body.
“Mmmm, kinda cute, I guess.” She said with a hint of snark and your eyes narrowed at her.
“Like those shoes!” You said with a sardonic smile and her mouth dropped open a bit, “We were kind of in the middle of an important conversation, so if you’re done trying to flaunt Gerard to your ex maybe it’s time you go find a seat.” You said and she just groaned and pulled Gerard along. Moments later Harry started laughing and you held back your smile as you turned back towards the bar.
“Oh, that was funny.” He chuckled, “Thanks for that.” He said to you with a smile and you maintained your serious facade.
“S’nothing, she was too condescending. And that poor man, being dragged into her games.”
“Either way, thank you. Standing up to her is not an easy feat.”
“Is that why you broke up?”
“Yeah…she was mean spirited and she cheated on me so-”
“Oh, that’s awful, Harry! I’m sorry.”
“Well at least she’s with him now and it wasn’t some rando.” He said and you shook your head.
“I guess but only an awful person betrays someone like that and it’s not worth you feeling sad or jealous over.” You stated firmly and glanced back at him and he was smiling a bit, “Or well…that’s my opinion about it.” You shrugged, sounding a bit less secure now that he was staring into your eyes.
“Well, thanks for that. I think I minimize it to…not feel so badly about it.” He explained and you hummed and reached for your drink again.
Everything you’d thought of Harry up until this point was the opposite of what he seemed to be. His constant need for socializing had you thinking he had no self awareness, but his priori statement made you realize that he did have it. Maybe you’d just judged him far too harshly for absolutely nothing. And well, no one likes to admit that they’re wrong…but you were wrong about him. But sadly, he wasn’t wrong about you and it made your smile fall.
“What’s wrong?” He asked you and you shook your head.
“It’s nothing.” You assured.
“Hey, tell me. The least I could do is listen after you retrieved my balls from the dragon guarding them.” He chuckled and you smirked, “Sorry for being crass but I mean…that’s what it was.” He said.
“I concluded that I have been wrong about you this whole time but you haven’t been wrong about me and that’s…it’s sad.” You said.
“It’s not like you’re a bad person. You’re just…irritable.” He said with a smile and you sighed.
“I try not to be…and like it’s not like in a condescending way. I don’t think I’m better than anyone else. I just…I’ve always had a hard time relating to other people. Like I’m not into the same things as everyone so I can’t join in on conversations a lot and it does upset me. But now everyone things I’m this kill joy and a raging bitch!” You said through a laugh of disbelief.
“I mean…what you did for me the other day? With the coffee?” He asked and then your smile fell again.
“You mean the coffee you regifted to Destiny?” You asked and he sighed. “I saw her with it in the kitchen. She said you bought it for her.” You said with an accusatory tone, “That…hurt my feelings.” You confessed. It felt like you were choking on sand, admitting that to him but it had been something you couldn’t move past.
“Okay, there’s an explanation.” Harry said, “I’m lactose intolerant and when I tried it I realized it wasn’t lactose free and I would get sick if I drank it. I didn’t want to throw it away and risk you seeing it in a garbage can. So I…gave it to the person who sat further away from you and told her a little white lie about it.” He explained and you couldn’t be upset at that.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know.”
“It’s alright. I appreciated the gesture though! A lot! I thought maybe that meant we could start to be a little more chummy, you know?”
“I thought so too until I saw you regifted it.” You said and he smiled.
“Yeah…I should’ve said something then or asked. But I just assumed you knew. Usually when we group order I’m the only other person who gets a cold brew black-”
“Oh! I’m the other person who orders that!” You said excitedly and he grinned.
“Yeah? I mean, good coffee doesn’t need anything in my opinion. It has a whole flavor profile on its own!”
“Agreed!” You concurred and he smiled.
“See, there’s one thing in common.” He added and you hummed and smiled.
The rest of the evening with Harry was pleasant. After all of the unpleasantness you’d put him though you picked up his tab too and assured him that next time he could get you and well, he was pleased that there’d be a next time.
Harry was glad you two had a breakthrough. He was walking back to his car and was feeling for his keys in his pockets when he realized they weren’t there. He circled back to the bar and no one had turned anything in and they weren’t where you two sat or in the bathroom. So he hurried out to his car and upon peering in with his phone light on he saw them sitting in the cup holder. He groaned as he recalled that he’d seen Eden walking down the sidewalk when he was about to get out of the car.
“Shit…” he mumbled and then dialed your number.
“Hey Harry!” You answered right away as you had just gotten to the intersection.
“Hey, I hate to do this but I locked my keys in my car and my insurance thing is in there too and if I call a random tow they’ll charge me an arm and a leg…”
“Yeah, no worries ummm, I can circle back I’m just down the street.” You assured, “Did you need to stay over as well?” You asked.
“Only if you’re fine with that! If not I could see who’s up and can let me crash!”
“No that’s alright, my couch is very comfy.” You assured him.
“Okay, thank you so much! I parked around the corner on 4th.”
“Okay, I’ll be there in a few.” You assured and hung up.
Minutes later he was getting into your car, thanking you profusely for helping him out. He was searching through his emails for his insurance agent’s contact to give him a call in the morning, and thankfully he found it. He explained it wasn’t any of the bigger insurance companies since those were too pricey. So he ran everything by this guy to ensure that things would get covered by his policy if and when he ran into any issues. You fully understood this and chatted about it a bit more until you were at your apartment.
Once you got in you assured him he could borrow some stuff from your ex boyfriend that’d been left behind and got him a spare toothbrush too and he went off to get showered and changed while you made up the couch for him. You waited for him to get out and then headed back out with two pillows.
“Hey, ummm soft or firm?” You asked him.
“Whichever one you don’t use.” He smiled.
“Oh no, I have like 6 pillows, you choose the one you prefer.” You assured.
“Firm, please.”
“Alright, here you are.” You said walking it over to him.
“Y/N, seriously, thank you for tonight. For all of it.” He said softly.
“Yeah, you’re welcome. It’s the least I can do after being a huge bitch to you for nothing.”
“It’s not because you’re trying to make things up to me. It’s because you’re a nice person.” He said and you smiled a bit and glanced away, “Hey, you are.”
“After everything I’ve done to you and how I’ve treated you, you believe that?”
“I do. I also believe in second chances.”
“Hopefully not with cheating exes…” you added with a timid smirk and he grinned.
“Yeah, definitely not.” He said, gaze still locked on yours. You felt this tension rising between you, it was all of the good things mixed with all the past irritations and it was making your brain cloudy. “Y/N?”
“Hmmm?”
“How mad would you be if I tried to kiss you right now?” He asked and you couldn’t tell if he was kidding around or being sincere.
“Ummm…I don’t…know.” You got out nervously, “Let’s just get to bed.” You said and he nodded, “Goodnight, Harry.”
“Good night.” He responded and you hurried off to your bedroom. You also washed off your body and got ready for bed and as you finally settled in your phone pinged with a text message.
Harry Styles:
How do I turn off the light?
You smiled and got out of bed and went over to find him already cuddled up on the couch and he glanced over at you.
“Sorry couldn’t find the switch.”
“It’s on this remote.” You said reaching for it on the coffee table.
“Oh, fancy.”
“Right!” You grinned and handed it over. “You can change the settings too if you don’t want it pitch black.” You said and he nodded.
“Thanks.”
“Of course.” You said and started walking off before stopped at the entrance of the hallway. You went back and leaned over him before kissing his cheek gently. His eyes fluttered shut and he smiled for a second before you pulled back. “Sorry.” You whispered.
“That’s alright.” He assured you and you but you r lip nervously before hurrying back down the hall. You closed the door and leaned back on it with a pounding heart and a smile on your face. You were so happy you have given him a chance tonight.

bjs with the boys ☆ ! mond edition
giving head both ways, ft. genshin men liyue edition, inazuma edition, sumeru edition
switch m reader + albedo, diluc, kaeya
a/n ;; if you recognize this, no you don’t, this was originally a series i did on my old account (now deleted) and decided i wanted to rewrite :-) i’m also sorry for disappearing for a month
Tumblr media Tumblr media
albedo ;; giving
he’s SUCH a tease oh my gosh. often times he doesn’t even mean to be—he just prefers to take it slower and more sensual. he’s a bit noisy as well, little gasps and whined against your dick as he gives you kitten licks to the tip. he isn’t too huge of a fan of when you shove him down just to get him going, so just a frustrated grumble from your end will have him going at a steady pace. however, just a simple “good boy” from your mouth will already have him messing up. he loves your cum in his mouth, he lets some of it run down his chin, maybe even teasing you about it.
albedo ;; receiving
get ready for a plethora of whiny mewls and moans when you give this boy head. he would softly tangle his fingers in your hair, covering his mouth with his other hand and doubling over. he’d mutter your name, “sir”, or “master”, covering his entire face as he cums. he hates cumming on your face, though, it makes him feel so bad. praise him afterwards, tell him how good he was and he’ll become a whiny, needy mess all over again.
diluc ;; giving
he’s so eager to please you in any way that he can—though albeit a bit awkward when it comes to head. just the sight of your dick gets him all flustered as he leaves small kisses all over the inner of your thighs. i feel like he would hardly waste any time with it, immediately sinking his head down, using his hand to fondle whatever he couldn’t reach. he would DEFINITELY trace small circles on your thigh with his calloused fingers, no matter his position. he’d maybe even slip his tongue past your rim, keeping tabs on your reactions.
diluc ;; receiving
i think he’s just a bit ashamed at the sight of you between his legs, holding a hand over his face to hide how red it was. he lets out low, breathy groans, muttering your name between them. he praises you so much, letting a “good boy” slip every once and a while. it’s not his preferred means of finishing, though, and the two of you usually move on before he can cum. but sometimes you have to convince him that it’s alright as you hold a hand on his waist, and that there can always be a round 2. he does like the pain of overstimulation that bubbles in his stomach, maybe he’d let you suck him off for hours.
kaeya ;; giving
he is a tease, like albedo, but intentional and definitely 10x worse. he keeps eye contact with you, letting his tongue swirl around your cock. he praises and teases you whenever his mouth isn’t on you—“what a slutty boy, yeah? letting me do all of this. so pretty, so good for me.”—he’d definitely keep this up until you finish, maybe even slipping a few fingers past the ring of muscles that sat just below your cock. it’s practically worship at this point, he loves to see your dick red and weeping, knowing that he was the cause.
kaeya ;; receiving
this is where he gets a bit shy. he wouldn’t ever show it, though, still keeping up his string of promiscuous words and praises. he grips your hair, maybe bucking up his hips into your mouth every once and a while. he groans sharply, definitely letting his head fall back, gripping any nearby surface with vigor. seeing his cum on your face inflates his ego a hundred times over, softly stroking your head afterwards with quiet affirmations. he definitely can’t ever just go for one round, so be prepared for an indefinite amount of, well, more.

silly low effort Velvette x reader headcanons —
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If there’s one thing I love, it’s evil, malicious, terrifying, bitchy woman. Anyways, that’s why we’re here. LOOK AT HERE SHES SO EVIL AND BAD!! I LOVE HER!! I feel like to date Velvette you have to have such genuine patience because she is very difficult all the time. Like she’s the type to ask what outfit she should wear and hold up two different sets. And then when you give her an answer she goes ”What, you think I can’t pull the other one off, or something?” And you’d be like “dude, no that’s not what I—“ Then just to spite she’d go “Well fuck you then, I’m going to wear that one.” I don’t think she does it in a serious way though, she just likes escalating things. I mean, you guys all listened to respectless, of course she does. I think she loves those shitty reality tv shows unapologetically and with all her heart. And yes, she will make you watch them with her and you will not have a choose. You’d be curled up on the couch together and she’d be laying on your chest with one arm extended out to point the remote at the tv and flip through channels. She’d be like “What d’you wanna watch, you think?” and you’d say “Not that reality tv trash, that’s for sure” and she’d go “Mmmm, okay!” And then she’d turn on one of her dumb shows immediately and laugh to herself when you groan. Speaking of laughter, I have this silly headcanons where she snorts when she laughs. But she thinks it’s sounds ugly so she literally hates when you say something that provokes a laughing fit. Well, she doesn’t really hate it, not when you always comment on how cute her giggles are. They are not cute and they sound like she’s dying all over again. She also really likes when you give her massages and rub her shoulders like after a long day of work. Because it’s stressful stuff, the fashion industry. So she also appreciates softer quality time. Like just cuddling up on the couch in one of your t shirts. Also sometimes she fully cleans out your closest and puts everything she hates in one big pile that she calls the ‘burn it with fire’ pile. ”Hate the yellow, it’s hideous and makes you look infected. Oh and this red would literally only go good with one of your bottoms. It’s a waste.” But she thinks you’re beautiful and gorgeous and so obviously you deserve better clothes?? Like duh. She’s a big fan of princess treatment, too by the way. Like opening car doors for her, breakfast in bed, flowers for every anniversary (even the ‘8 weeks since our first kiss!’brandom milestone. Yeah, she just wants flowers.) BUT DO NOT do the throwing your coat over a puddle of mud thing for her because “Why the fuck would you do that to an innocent coat. Are you completely daft?” Just pick her up and carry her over the puddle, fucking obviously. Also she loves doing your nails, hair, or dressing you up in general. She’s actually weirdly such a mastermind when it comes to this shit because all of it is catered specifically to your style and vibes, while also purposefully complimenting whatever her fit is that day. I think she also likes very fancy dates where she gets to show you off to the public. Especially when you let her pick the outfits, she’s ecstatic and very very excited and equally proud of herself. Also I said this on a previous post but I love the idea and no one has brought it up for a while but once you make your relationship public, she watches edits that her fans make of you two.

a/n — Bottom Velvette request came in and lowkey i’m hyped. Princess treatment to the max, for real for real.

Note
Sam had been focusing too much on working that he had ended up neglecting his relationship. You guys had planned to go out on a movie dinner date weeks in advance and already had dinner reservations set, he is too busy working to realize that the reservation was 30 minutes ago. Should you have reminded him? Yes. But you also feel like you shouldn't have to because if he cared then he would've put his work aside for a few hours to spend time with you. ANGSTTTTT but also fluff or smut at the end, dealers choice 😏
Tumblr media
Warnings: Slightly angsty, strong language, reader breaking down, crying, yelling, suggestive language, kinda sad but happy ending
Enjoy!

Sam has missed reservation times. He’s been late to pick you up sometimes. He’s even had to cancel last minute, but you understood. For the most part, at least. You knew he had deadlines to make, people to update, plans to make, and flights to book.
Once the number of times he’s practically bailed on your reaches double digits, that’s when you really started to get mad. His reasonings, you’re sure were valid at the time, but you would get so mad you thought it was a bullshit excuse, so that just made you pissed.
You said something, you had a long talk one night, got on the same page again and everything was good, almost seemed better.
But only for a short while until things started to gradually trickle back into its cursed routine. You’d say something to him again, then it would just repeat the cycle. Back to square one with it. Finally, maybe after one or two more times, you gave up on what you felt like you just wasting your breath.
One night, while you’re laying in bed getting ready to go to sleep, Sam comes in after edited his one video for hours of the day. You feel the bed dip down and his body slides up against yours.
“I made us reservations at the Mitz, they couldn’t get us in until three weeks from now, so figure out what you want to do before or after and we can do that.”
You stay silent for a second before speaking. Your voice is in a very low whisper, “You promise?” He kisses your shoulder and nuzzles his head into your neck, “I promise. I’m sorry I haven’t been with it lately.”
“You and Colby have been busy. I get it.” You roll over to face him, “I guess.. I just feel like you forget I’m here sometimes.” He shakes his head, “I’m sorry I make you feel that way.” He kisses your forehead and you close your eyes, “I love you.” He rests his forehead against yours and lets out a quiet sigh, “I love you so much.”
Over the last three weeks, Sam and Colby surprisingly didn’t have much going on, so it worked out in everyone’s favor. You and Sam pretty much stayed home, and when he did edit, he made sure to include you.
Which is why, when that certain Thursday evening rolled around, you were absolutely crushed. It felt like, in a weird way, a betrayal. It really wasn’t that deep, but to you it was.
You scoffed as you hear the front door open, rolling your eyes as you look to the small clock on your vanity.
07:30 PM - 30 minutes past your set reservation time.
You drag the makeup wipe down your face, wiping away the hope you had painted on earlier in the evening. You can feel the burn growing in your eyes as you try not to cry.
You may think that two times isn’t bad, but it’s not really about the amount of times it’s happened. It’s more about how Sam doesn’t realize it’s happening. He doesn’t put up a fight, he just gradually buries you under all of his paperwork.
You hear him making his way up the steps and you know in your heart that it’s not going to be good. You take a deep breath, wiping over your face one more time with a clean wipe.
“So guess where Colby and I get to go next month.”
“Hmm?” You hum lowly, but loud enough for him to hear. You keep your stare fixed on yourself in the mirror in front of you. Sam walks closer and you feel every muscle in your body tense up.
You really didn’t want to fight with him - again.
“What’s wrong,” He asks, laying a hand on your shoulder. You were so mad at him, his touch only made the urge to cry even harder to fight back. You shake your head, “N-nothing.” You stand up, “I think I’m just gonna go get a bath and then go to bed.”
You grab a clean change of clothes and before you walk out, it’s hits Sam. He lets out a sigh, “Oh fuck.” You turn around, “Congratulations.” You give him a fake smile, “You figured out what’s wrong.”
“Y/n.” Sam calls out but you walk away. He follows after you, “Waitwaitwait.” He grabs your arm, pulling you towards him, “I am so.. so… sorry.” You tilt your head back resting it against the wall as you let out a slight laugh, “It doesn’t matter Sam.”
You look at him and his face falls, “W-What do you mean by that?” He stands up a little straight as you just simply shrug.
He shakes his head, “No. don’t say it. Please.” You chew on your lip as you feel the tears well, “I’m not..” you quickly swipe away the tears dripping down your flushed cheeks, “I’m not leaving, Sam. I just..”
You let your hands fall to your sides, and you just crack, spilling all of your emotions, “I need more, Sam. I-I know. I know that me getting upset over dates might be silly, but they’re important to me, Sam.” Your voice cracks and you look into Sam’s glossy eyes, “You’re everywhere, Sam. But you’re not here.”
You sniffle, voice cracking quietly, “And it’s hurts.”
He scrunches his nose and nods. You blink and the tears fall, “I shouldn’t h-have to be the one to remind you, fuck Sam. I shouldn’t have to remind you.”
“You’re right.” He mumbles quietly as he nods. You look up, sighing, “I do not want to end us, Sam. Please know that.” His hands slide to your waist, but you speak before he can, “We need alone time. We-we need time to just be a normal couple sometimes.”
You bring your hands to your eyes and just sob.
Sam pulls you into his chest, wrapping his arms around you as he whispers how sorry he is, “You are the most important thing to me, okay?” He presses his lips to your temple and you nod, mumbling, “Mhm.” You’re trying to get your crying under control as Sam continues, “I’m so sorry I missed tonight, baby.”
He sniffles and that makes you cry harder, “I’m sorry.” You sob out and Sam cups your cheeks, “Hey.” He raises his voice slightly, catching your attention. He raises his brows and leans in, his voice calm, “You don’t ever need to be sorry about anything, okay?”
You nod and Sam shakes his head, “You did nothing wrong, okay? I deserve to be called out on my bullshit. You did the right thing.” He kisses your cheek, “You’re my number one priority, from here on out I promise I’m going to prove it to you every. Single. Day.”
You smile slightly and you feel yourself gradually calming down, “I just didn’t want do make you mad.” You sniffle out, gasping out for air because of how worked up you had yourself.
You were slightly embarrassed, but Sam really doesn’t seem like he’s judging you at all. He laughs slightly, “Trust me, it would take you doing something a lot more stupid than getting upset over me being a dumbass to be mad at you.” He smiles and rubs your cheek with his thumb, “I love you.”
You smile, looking up at him, “I love you, too.” You lean in, pressing your lips to his and you feel him smirk. His voice is quiet against your lips as he mumbles, “Is this a bad time to tell you that Colby and I want to bring you on to the channel. Take you with us on every investigation?”
You lean back, looking up at him, “What did you just say?” He scratches his forehead, “When I got home, I was going to tell you that Colby and I were talking and we both agreed that when you’re on investigations with us, they turn out so much better than when it is just us, so with that.. we did a little poll thing in XPLR club and it turns out that the fans want you to join us. just as much as Colby and I do.”
You stare at him for a few seconds before you gently push his shoulder, “you couldn’t have just led with that, babe?” You laugh, “I embarrassed myself infront of you for absolutely no reason.”
He shakes his head, “First off, don’t be embarrassed. Second off, you calling me out on stuff that bothers you shows me you care enough to communicate with me, and I honestly cannot tell you how much that means to me.”
You bite down on your lip, “You might not be able to tell me, but I think you just might be able to show me.” You raise your brows as you look up at Sam and he smirks, instantly lifting you up against the wall, “Where to?”
You smile, “Take me to bed.”

Xekstrin Arbitrary Writing Rules V2
1) Sentence variety and paragraph variety is important.
Quick and dirty fix: make sure the FIRST WORD of EVERY SENTENCE and EVERY PARAGRAPH doesn’t repeat too much. (Some repetition is inevitable as you will see later.)
“Huh???” I hear you say.
Ex:
Here’s my example text. Here is another sentence. Here once again is another line of text and even though it has a different length (good) it still starts with the same word and it repeats a bit too much.
Here we have a whole new paragraph, a completely new sentence with commas and everything. However it still starts with the same word. Here you might say, “but I’m repeating it on purpose!” Repeating on purpose is usually fine. Repeating unthinkingly means you aren’t diving into your edits deep enough.
Not a hard and fast rule by any means, but it starts you on the path to thinking more closely about your work down to the itty bitty details.
2) Adverbs are fine… depending on what you want to do.
“It’s not like she loved me or anything.” Sally laughed sadly.
This is a fine brief sentence that still tells us a lot! We can move on to other things while still keeping Sally in mind.
But! If you want to linger for whatever reason… give us some physical details. Tell us what things feel like and sound like. Describe what is happening.
“It’s not like she loved me or anything.” Sally choked when she laughed. Tears were streaming down the distraught lines of her face. Every inch of her was pale and cold to the touch.
Both sections can be equally sad, depending on the context. More words does not mean more emotion! It merely is a tool to let the reader sit with something a bit longer than they might otherwise. You can then try to control the speed a reader is introduced to things, and set up a “wham line” by forcing them to linger somewhere else a bit.
Not every line has to be a poem. Unless that’s your thing. Use your best judgment! Every writer is different and will want to write a scene differently.
3) Said is not dead
I see you, trying to replace every other “said” with “exclaimed” “shrieked”“hollered” “hooted” “ejaculated” or otherwise use another verb to replace “said” for no other reason than you are trying to avoid “said”.
At first this rule seems to go against rule number one, not to repeat words. But “said” (or “says”) is a special word.
Why?
“Said” is effectively invisible.
Readers tend to skim or skip it on instinct. When you use any word OTHER than “said”, however, you are forcing them to make a brief pause and absorb this. Are you wasting their time? Is it notable or otherwise important that this character is doing anything other than saying their words? Use your best judgement.
4) Shi shi shi shi shi shi shi… who is “she”?
We’ve all seen that chinese poem about Shi eating the lions, right?
Tumblr media
Writing a lesbian threesome feels a lot like this poem. When in doubt, even if you feel like it breaks rule number one, just use a character’s name rather than an epithet (“the long-haired girl” “the shorter girl”.)
This is less of a problem with het romance but still worth mentioning.
Epithets have their place, if you’re doing it with intention. If you want to talk about swift-footed Achilles, you know your story better than I do! Just don’t use epithets as a backup because you’re scared to repeat yourself. Readers can smell your fear.
5) Readers can smell your fear
Don’t force it. Don’t write for an imaginary audience that is out to punish you. Don’t write defensively in case someone misunderstands. We can smell your fear and it distracts from the story. Trust in your story!
6) Words mean things.
Flexing your vocabulary is sexy. Using big words incorrectly is the writing equivalent of slapping yourself in the face and smugly saying “see how strong I am?”
7) No one knows your story but you. This is both good and bad.
When you are writing, you are trying to show off what’s in your head. The reader does not, CANNOT, see what you see. Mind-reading is impossible.
It’s YOUR job to immerse them in your fantasy as completely as possible. Be clear, be vivid, and engage all the senses. They should know how your fantasy feels, how it looks, what emotions are wrapped up inside it, how it smells, and what it sounds like. What it means.
But also you’re not gonna please everybody so you should just do what you like anyway.
Bye!

Make Up Your Mind
Pairing: Scarlett Johansson x Fem!Reader
Summary: You ask Scarlett out on a date
Disclaimer: English is not my first language. Also, this is very cute in the end
Tumblr media
“Hey, boo. You there?”
You sent the text and waited to see if your best friend would take too long to answer. You didn’t have much time to wait for a reply since you were supposed to be heading to the editing room again in ten minutes, so you could only hope that your friend would see your text soon. Being across the globe from each other was proving to be harder and harder as the days went by because you missed talking to your friend in person. Two more weeks, though, and the movie you were working on would wrap and you finally be coming home.
The sound of your phone going off snapped you out of your thoughts and you wasted no time looking at it, quickly taking notice of the text your best friend sent you.
“Stop calling me like that. Sup?”
You sighed in relief and started typing your next message. “Can I call you?”
You didn’t get a reply, thinking that maybe your friend didn’t have time to talk with you, but suddenly your phone started to ring in your hand and you answered it when you saw your friend’s name on the screen.
“This better be an emergency. It’s so freaking early.”
“I will be fast, promise, Sam!” You said in a desperate attempt to keep your friend in the line.
You heard a sigh from the other side, although Sam didn’t sound upset when she spoke again. “Clock’s running. Go on.”
“Okay, so… I met someone,” deciding to just rip the bandaid off all at once, you started talking, leaving no room for your friend to interrupt you even if you heard a gasp coming from her. “And this will sound crazy but… I don’t know, it feels different. Like, I don’t know, like she can be very important to me somehow. Very important,” you repeated to make your point clear.
“Okay,” Sam sounded oddly placid. “Where did you meet her?”
You brought the pad of your thumb between your teeth, nibbling at it nervously. “On set.”
“Oh.” There was a beat of silence and then: “Holy cow! Who is she?! Is she, like, a super hot actress? Or does she work with the nerds like you do?”
Rolling your eyes at the light teasing, you were hit with the nice feeling of calmness that came from talking with someone who knew you so well. “Can you help me out with my breakdown before asking that many questions?”
“Yes! Yes, sure. Sorry. You were saying you met someone. Okay, have you talked with her already?”
You nodded, noticing only after that your friend couldn’t see you. “Yes.”
“Why don’t you ask her out?”
“She just got out of a relationship,” you told her and sighed. “It didn’t end badly, but it’s complicated. And we started talking a couple of times. We go to a coffee shop close to where the shootings are happening, and she seems okay, but I don’t want to ask her out and make her feel bad.”
“Well, there’s not many options here, bestie. You either ask her out and figure out her answer, or you’re going to live the rest of your life thinking about what would have happened,” Sam declared, sounding much more alert now.
“I know, I’m just scared.” You ran a hand through your hair when frustration started getting the best of you. “I don’t want her to get uncomfortable.”
“Hey, she won’t be uncomfortable if you do it nicely,” Sam advised. “Just ask her. If she says no, then you move on. If she says yes, then you start planning where to take her.”
“That is the right thing to do, I know.”
There was a pause in your conversation where neither of you knew what to say next, but it was broken by a light chuckle from Sam. “I don’t think I ever saw my friend being so scared of asking anyone out.”
You blushed, even if the conversation was happening on the phone, and scratched the back of your neck. “Well, maybe she’s important, you know?”
“Okay, what about this? You work on asking her out and I will be here whatever happens. If she says yes, I will help you search for restaurants to take her in the hidden place on Earth that the studio sent you guys to film. If she says no, you can come over as soon as you get back and I will let you eat an entire ice cream pot.”
Even if you still felt nervous, you couldn’t help but smile. “Deal.”
“Good!” Sam laughed. “Now, are you telling me who she is?”
“Maybe,” you teased her. “If it works out.”
“You’re a mean woman,” she grumbled and, this time, you were the one who laughed.
“I have to go. Thanks for listening to me.”
So maybe you were running away from that part of the conversation, but no one could blame you. How could you explain to your best friend that the person you had caught feelings for was the one and only Scarlett Johansson? That was something you kept thinking about while putting your phone away and walking back to your workstation.
Your friend knew you were working on some big movie - they did, after all, fly you from across the globe to start working on editing some parts of the movie before it was even done shooting, so it had to be something huge - but she would never be able to imagine that, somehow, you managed to form a friendship with the Hollywood actress. To be fair, you couldn’t quite grasp it yet either, and it had been going on for a few months now.
It started with quick conversations when the director of the movie took some of the actors to see some cuts you and the rest of the team did. She was always kind, though very focused on her job. She would greet everyone, offer you a smile and would go back to work immediately. After that happened two or three times, you ran into her in a hallway when you were out to fill up your coffee mug. You shyly offered her a smile as a way of greeting and was surprised when she remembered your name to wish you a nice day while she walked past you to go somewhere. You met two other times like that, and the visits with the director didn’t stop, and, before you even realized what was happening, both of you were sharing small talk while drinking coffee.
It didn’t take much for you two to start going to the café nearby and your conversations became more intense. You talked about your life, how you ended up working in editing, your family, your friends, and your plans for the future. And listened when Scarlett talked about her own life, albeit she never shared too many details. You couldn’t blame her because she didn’t want the risk of having anyone overhearing her.
However, those conversations - the laughs and the jokes you had together - made something inside you shift. You knew you were screwed when hearing Scarlett laugh made your heart beat faster, but you shoved it all down and tried not to let these feelings blossom. Didn’t work, of course, but at least she tried.
The thing is, it was easy to fall for Scarlett. So damn easy. It was a free fall from the start and now, two weeks away from coming back to your mundane life locked inside a room working on a computer while she would travel the world to keep shooting movies, you reached the point where you couldn’t ignore it anymore. You had to do something about it because what you told Sam was true. You felt like Scarlett was different. She was important already and you had the feeling she could change your life even more.
You just knew that. You didn’t know how to explain it, but you knew. You felt that deep inside you.
You just had to do something about it.
[...]
Your eyes were glued to the computer screen, working on a scene the director wanted to see that day, when you heard her phone going off beside your hand. You sighed, having already lost your focus, and glanced at it to see who was it. Your best friend’s name flashed on the screen and some of your frustration washed away. You grabbed your phone to read the text, enjoying the break to take a sip of your coffee as well.
“So… Do you have a hot date already?”
It has been five days since the conversation you had with your best friend. It was honestly surprising that Sam took so long to ask you about this, but you could picture her restraining herself from asking that same question every five minutes. It almost made you laugh.
“Didn’t talk to her yet. Work is crazy.”
“Well, don’t wait too long or it will be too late.”
You knew that. Better than anyone, actually, because the days were running way too fast now that it was getting closer and closer to saying goodbye to Scarlett. It wasn’t a lie that she didn’t find the time to talk with the actress yet, though. They were getting to the end of shooting, which meant that Scarlett was working extra hours, and you were quite busy making quick shots for the director to see. It has been some crazy days. You certainly miss having a few minutes or hours to spare talking with Scarlett over your coffee mugs.
“I’m working on it.” It was a promise more to yourself than to Sam, but you ignored it in order to go back to work.
You would do it, you weren’t chickening out.
It was a promise as well.
[...]
“If you don’t have any news on lady lover land, I’m going to be upset.”
You laughed out loud when you read Sam’s text, letting go of your cup of coffee to type back a reply. You were standing in the hallway, getting a refill from the machine that was placed there, even if the coffee there wasn’t good at all, but there was no one else around but you, so it was okay to stay there for a few more seconds just to send a text message. It was just the day after you told Sam you were working on things, but nothing had changed yet.
“Hope you’re up for disappointment.”
You were still smiling when the next text came. “Oh, come on, girl! Get it together and ask this mysterious woman out!”
“What got you smiling so wildly?”
You almost jumped out of your skin when you heard another voice right beside you. You did jump a bit, turning around and grasping your phone as if it was the only weapon you had to fight for your life, but, even if took you a second to understand it, it was just Scarlett and your life surely wasn’t in danger even if your instincts kicked for a moment there.
“Jeez, you scared me,” you said, placing a hand over your chest.
“Sorry.” Scarlett placed a hand on your shoulder and offered you an apologetic smile. “Didn’t mean to startle you.”
However, you narrowed your eyes and her because you could see a glint behind her very, very, beautiful eyes. “You’re lying, but I’m going to let that one slide,” you huffed, earning a soft chuckle from the other woman. She retreated her hand and you remembered she had asked you a question before. “I was talking with Sam.” She knew who your best friend was, so you didn’t bother giving away more details.
“Oh, that’s great,” Scarlett smiled again and you felt your breath getting stuck in the back of your throat for a second. “You came here to grab more coffee to be able to finish your day?”
You were confused for a moment, but the realization hit you when you glanced down and noticed your mug was still on the machine. You quickly took it out when you saw Scarlett was also holding a mug, taking a step to the side to give her room. “Sorry, got distracted.”
“That’s okay,” she said and moved to put her mug down and press a button on the machine. “I wish I had a longer break. I would take you to the coffee shop to get real coffee.”
Smiling, you shrugged. “Well, to be fair, I don’t think I would have the time for it either.”
“That crazy, huh?”
You made a nonchalant sound as you raised the mug to take a sip of the coffee, but you saw Scarlett still smiling at you and your cheeks warmed up despite your best efforts to stop it. Scarlett’s mug was filled just a second later and it thankfully gave her something else to look at, so maybe she missed your blush. You watched in comfortable silence as Scarlett grabbed some sugar to put inside her mug and you knew you had no reason to be standing there still. You had your coffee and you could go back to work. But going back meant leaving Scarlett behind and you didn’t want to say goodbye just yet. You probably wouldn’t see her again for the rest of the day and, as pathetic as it might sound, you wanted to enjoy that moment for a few more seconds.
You were so lost in thoughts that you almost missed the fact that Scarlett was talking to you again. “I watched that movie you told me about. You were right, it was very funny.”
“See?” You wiggled your brows. “I told you it was a good movie to watch.”
“Don’t be cocky about it.” Scarlett gently pushed you away with her elbow and you laughed loudly. She glanced at you pretending to be mad, but her lips were tugging upwards as if she was fighting a grin.
It was maybe the way she was looking at you or the way you realized you wished to see her smile more than anything. Whatever it was, it pushed you off the edge and made you start talking before your brain even registered what you were going to say. “Would you go out with me?” You felt your blood run cold in your veins as panic immediately washed over you, but you had already said that and you could enjoy the wave of courage that hit you suddenly. “In a date, I mean.”
Scarlett’s smile was gone so fast that you just knew it wasn’t a good sign. “Oh,” she breathed out, blinking in surprise and turning her head away. You noticed the way her hands were gripping her mug and how she avoided looking at you. Your heart sank like a rock. “Oh, I would love to, but…”
Unable to stop yourself, you asked: “But?”
Scarlett sighed deeply, sounding tired even, and finally tilted her head to the side to look at you again. Her eyes were sad and her smile was polite. “I don’t think it’s wise.”
Well, that sucked.
It sucked because not only did she turn you down, but because you weren’t surprised by it either. She was Scarlett Johansson. Of course she wouldn’t want to go out with you. It was ridiculous to even think about that. And, to be honest, you were expecting the rejection, so it didn’t take too long for you to recover from that to be able to say something else.
“Okay.” You offered her a smile that didn’t quite reach your eyes, but wasn’t a fake one either. She bit her lip, looking at you with some concern, so you straightened your back and made sure you sounded better when you spoke again: “Yeah, fine. I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable or if I ruined this.” You gesticulated with your hand between you two, trying to address the sort of friendship that you had formed, although you knew you had ruined it of course.
And you felt like shit for doing so.
Because Scarlett needed a friend. She had enough people around the world trying to get into her pants, making her feel like an object, trying to get her to be their trophy or something. Even if you weren’t doing that because of who she was, even if you really liked her, you shouldn’t have said anything. Now Scarlett was once again facing the fact that no one seemed to want to be friends with her, that they always wanted something else. Of course she wouldn’t want to keep this tentative friendship between you.
Even so, Scarlett was nothing if not polite. “You didn’t,” she reassured, but you wouldn’t call her out on her lie.
It was fine, really. You would tend your wounds, grab your broken ego, and eat ice cream straight from the pot. Sam promised you that. And you were sure she would buy your favorite if you managed to tell her you got rejected by Scarlett Johansson herself. You just needed to finish this job and get home first.
“Well, I better get going.” You pointed over your shoulder to the closed door you worked all day, and offered her a small smile. “Enjoy your coffee.”
You turned around and walked away before things could get too weird, wishing, one more time, that you hadn’t said anything.
[...]
Sam texted you again the next day. You didn’t muster the courage to tell her about what happened the day before but, after you saw your friend reaching out to you again, you couldn’t lie to her.
“So?”
“She said no.” Was your reply. Straight to the point because you still had work to do and, honestly, you didn’t want to keep talking about that. When the message was read and no reply came, you decided to add: “It’s fine.”
The three dots indicating that Sam was typing something appeared several times before she actually sent it, and you couldn’t help but roll your eyes fondly. “Well, she’s an idiot apparently. I’m sorry. You will find someone better, promise!”
You put your phone away after that. It was still early, but you had so much work to do and a renewed desire to be over those last few days of filming as fast as possible. At the same time, you didn’t want to walk away from Scarlett just yet. You knew you ruined whatever you had before, but you already missed her and it hadn’t even been a day yet. You kept thinking you should have valued the friendship you had with her, at the same time you were happy you mastered the courage to address your feelings because now you knew and you could move on.
You weren’t exactly sure how you would move on from a person who made you feel things you never felt before in so little time, but you would have to find out soon.
It was hours later, after a quick lunch break and five cups of coffee, that a knock on the door grabbed your attention. Your colleagues were out talking with other people on the team, so you were alone inside the small room. Luckily, you didn’t have to get up to open the door because, after a pause, someone pushed it almost hesitantly.
And then Scarlett’s head appeared behind it and you felt your eyes going wide. You were not expecting to see her there. The director hadn’t said anything about showing up to see your work, and she was only there when he was, and you started freaking out for a moment thinking you forgot to do something until you noticed the way her eyes took on the empty room.
“Hey.”
Surprised, you didn’t reply right away, which earned you an arched eyebrow that made you jump into action. “Oh, hi! Hello! Sorry, I was… distracted.”
“That’s okay. I don’t want to disturb your work,” she said.
You chuckled just because you didn’t know what else to do, and scratched the back of your head. “Are you going to grab some coffee?” You asked to try and wash away the awkwardness that fell in the room.
“No, I, uh,” Scarlett stumbled over her words, which was something so unusual that you quickly got up from your chair to get closer to her when worry started to grow inside you. You placed a gentle hand on her arm and nudged her inside the room so you could close the door behind her, thinking that maybe she would be more comfortable talking if she knew no one could hear. She seemed thankful for that. “I have to go back to set, I just wanted to tell you something.”
“Oh, okay,” you nodded. “What is it?”
Scarlett looked up at you, biting her bottom lip and playing with her fingers, and you only got even more worried. She looked nervous, uncertain, and you hated to see her like that. “I, uh, changed my mind.”
“About what?” You asked
“If the offer is still up, I would like to take it.”
It took you several seconds to understand what she was trying to tell you and, when you did, you immediately felt your heart start to race, your palms became sweaty and you lost the ability to talk for several seconds.
“I-Yes! Yes! Of course, yes!” You didn’t even try to hide your happiness, which earned you a content grin from the woman standing in front of you. “Of course it’s still up! You just tell me when you’re free and I will pick you up!”
“Actually,” Scarlett said with a chuckle. “I was thinking that maybe you would like to have dinner tonight? I got us reservations already.”
“Oh my God! Yes! Absolutely! Holy-” You stopped yourself from cursing just in time and shook your head a couple of times. “I promise you I will get a grip on myself before dinner time.”
Scarlett just laughed though and turned around to open the door again. “I have to go back, but I will pick you up at eight, okay?” She asked, not having to get directions to the hotel you were staying in because you had already told her before.
“Okay, yes, sure!” You were moving from one foot to another, unable to stop yourself because of the rush of adrenaline going inside you, and you were almost alone inside the room again when you decided to stop her from going away. “Hey, do you mind telling me what changed? Yesterday you said no, I was just wondering.”
Scarlett stopped, her eyes glued on you and a fond smile turning her lips up, and she seemed to be considering her words before answering you. “I didn’t say no, I said it wasn’t wise,” she reminded you gently. “There’s a lot going on in my life and I was afraid things wouldn’t work out between us. I’m still afraid, actually.”
“Why did you change your mind then?”
“Because I think…” Scarlett licked her lips and glanced down for a second. When she looked up again, your breath caught in your throat. “Because I think this might be important and I don’t want to regret not living it just because I was afraid.”
You were at a loss of words after that. After a few seconds, Scarlett offered you another smile and finally walked away, leaving you alone one more time. There was a delay while you were still trying to process everything, but you finally snapped out of it and punched the air in celebration before grabbing your phone to text Sam.
“Holy crap, I have a date!”
[...]
Three years later, Sam was about to finish telling this story during her speech on your wedding day. Half of the room had tears in their eyes, the other half was laughing because of the way your best friend was telling this, but you only had eyes for your wife. Scarlett was sitting beside you wearing the most gorgeous wedding dress ever made, leaning against your side while she watched Sam telling everyone how she denied your request for a date. You had your chin resting on top of her head, carefully not to mess with her perfectly done hair, but the smile in your lips was permanent. That was, indeed, the happiest day of your life.
“Do you guys want to know the text I received after the said date?” Sam asked the room, always the good storyteller. After receiving a chorus of ‘yes’, Sam picked up her phone and read it. “I asked her how her date went, and she said: I think that was my last date. I was right. She’s important. I’m marrying her one day.”
While everyone in the room cooed and clapped, Scarlett turned around to peck your lips, placing a soft hand on your cheek, and you couldn’t help but smile. “I love you,” she whispered after pulling away.
“I love you,” you repeated softly at her before leaning in for another kiss.
And, really, you would never stop kissing her.

trade - fred weasley x reader
Tumblr media
requests open!
taglist
warning(s): language, not edited, smut
word count: 1.1k
request(ed): “rough sex with fred? 😊”
summary: kitchen sex lol
————————————————————————————
Summers for you meant counting down the days til the cooler weather and staying with the Weasley’s. Your first year you became really close with Hermione and hence Harry and Ron as well. The four of you became a unit and would hardly be seen without each other.
Right now, you were in the Weasley’s kitchen late at night looking for some juice. Usually it’d be gone, but you saved yourself some and hid it from everyone so you could drink it later…except now you couldn’t find it at all.
“Looking for this?” You turned to find Fred, shirtless, pajama pants hanging low, with your mason jar of juice in his hand. Everyone knew you liked drinking out of them so you know Fred knows it’s yours.
“Give it up Fred…” Your relationship with Fred was rocky. He played pranks on you most times, and teased you others. Still, you couldn’t deny the attraction even though he annoyed the hell out of you.
You walk towards him and try to grab your drink but he holds it way over your head making it impossible for you to reach. You try but notice your shirt going up as you do.
He grins.
“That’s mine ya’know.”
“Molly gave it to me.” you say.
“Hmm, looks better on you.”
He takes a sip of your juice and you know he’s behaving this way to tease you. From the moment he laid his eyes on you he was mentally undressing you. You knew what this was going to lead to.
He takes a step closer to you and places his hands on your waist. Once he sees you have no objection he switches you two around so that your now pressed agains the counter.
Fred leans down so that his mouth was next to your ear. “How about a trade…shirt for juice?”
Before you could answer he was pressing kisses down your neck and kissing the exposed skin as he unbuttoned the shirt. You tried hard not to moan but let a few slip..this only egged him on. You forgot all about the juice as his mouth went lower down your body until he had you lifted on the counter and he was right above your pussy.
“May I?” he asks.
“Please…”
He gently slides off your panties and tucks them in his pocket discreetly. He presses wet kisses along your thighs until finally making his way back to your pussy where he takes urgency to your clit, not wasting any time as he flicks it with his tongue. You cover your mouth with your hand as to keep the moans in and after a couple minutes you just couldn’t take it anymore. He was doing a marvelous job, but you wanted more.
“Fred, fred, fuck me please.” You whisper.
“Yeah? You want me to fuck you?”
He helps you down from the counter and kisses you, hard, his hand finds your hair and pulls so that you were completely in his control staring up at him while his tongue danced with yours.
He spun you around so that you were facing the counter.
“Bend over for me baby.”
He massages one of your breasts while he reaches for a condom from his pockets. Why he has one just in there…you don’t know but you were growing impatient. You wanted him…bad.
He pulls down his pants and you could tell he was rubbing himself but you were too nervous to turn around and look. You could hear as he rolled the condom on and anticipated his next move.
“You ready?”
You already knew you were wet enough - his mouth had made sure of it - you were so ready.
You nod.
“Wanna hear you say it love.”
“I’m ready Fred, please give it to me.”
That’s all he needed to hear. He pulled your hips towards him so that you were leaning forwards more, and pressed the head of his cock into your pussy. He pushed in and again, you covered your mouth to hide your moan. He kept going and you wondered if it was ever going to stop. He felt so good and he was so long you wanted to scream.
Once he was all the way in he paused, wanting you adjusted, until he pulled out again and started to keep a rhythm. He leant towards you and you could hear him moan which only turned you on more.
“Fuck baby you feel so good, so wet for me right now.”
And you were. You could hear it. And fuck did you never want this to stop. You were reaching towards the counter, towards anything that might steady you - he began to go faster, rougher, he pulled your hair and moaned your name and you wondered if he was worried about getting caught but also feeling yourself nearing climax.
He hit that spot in you every time and you were almost there. Almost.
“Harder Freddy, please…fuck me harder.”
“Shit.”
Fred casted a protection and silencing spell on the kitchen. There was no way he could continue without exposing the two of you. You wanted it hard? That’s the way you were going to get it.
He pulled you back more so now your body was angled and he slowed his rhythm while rubbing your clit. Once your moans were steady again he went faster until you were practically wanting to scream, and squeezing his cock.
“Fuck, I’m going to come Fred. I’m gonna come.”
“You gonna come? Let’s do it together Y/N.”
He rubs your clit faster and you can feel yourself black out as pleasure overwhelms you. When he feels you squeeze his cock as you cum he pulls out moaning as he cums into the condom.
“Fuck, Y/N, fuck.”
You smile as you try to calm yourself down. You were both sweaty and breathing uncontrollably. You could barely even stand anymore. You leaned against the counter and watched as he tugged his pants on and threw the condom away. He found you the shirt and helped you put it on and button it up.
“My panties?” You ask. He thinks you didn’t see him steal them but you did.
“Mmm gotta trade me something for them.”
You roll your eyes.
“A kiss?” he asks.
You smile and reach up so that your hands were on either side of his face and you bring him down so that you can kiss him. It was long and deep and almost had you ready for part two.
You pulled away and he fake pouted. You walked towards your drink and took a long drink. Fred came up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist, while pressing kisses against your neck.
“Come to bed with me? I can give you a more comfortable shirt…less buttons?”

NSFW 18+ x Reader Edition - Minors DNI!
Masterlist here
G - Gags/Gagging (John Price x Reader)
Tags: Reader’s gender is not stated, oral (m receiving), degradation (names used: cumslut, whore), cum-swallowing, free-use kink
Not beta-read, we die like men 🤷🏽
Prompt: Price usually has his bad days, and it results in pretty rough, amazing sex in order to relieve his stress. Knowing you offer a ‘free-use’ ticket, as well as him doing the same for you, he’s in dire need to let off some steam. The only problem is - you’re both still on base, and he needs to blow off steam now.
Tumblr media
“Open.” Price demanded, already pulling his belt from his waist, his zipper falling in line next. His hard cock pushing up against the fabric of his uniform pants.
You sat before him on your knees, hands in your lap, mouth open and awaiting your next instructions.
Price had been having a rough time from the very moment he arrived on base. From failed missions, to stubborn injuries from new privates, he had a brittle anger under his skin. And the only way he would get through the day was “free-use” you.
The only problem was - the base was full of soldiers, and anyone could walk by Price’s office at any minute or knock on his door.
Price got his cock out, pumping into his fist, and gripped the top of your head by your hair before bringing you forward. “Take a deep breath.”
And like you were going underwater, you were plunged over Price’s warm cock. The girth just splitting your jaw in delicious ways, the weight of it strangling your tongue. You moaned around it as he widened his stance, gazing down at you.
“Look at me.” He growled.
You peered up, his cock in your mouth, his hand in your hair. He gave a firm tug, saddling your lips further down his cock. You whimpered in pain.
“That’s right. Take it.” He groaned, never once peeling his eyes away. “Be a good cumslut for me, and take it.”
He thrust into your mouth, his plump cockhead pushing up against your uvula and you gagged around him. Your eyes grew wet with every sharp thrust.
Price growled and moaned at the slickness of your drooling mouth; he dropped a hand to your cheek, feeling it fill up with his cock. His other hand, tight in your hair, moved to the back of your head.
With every shove of his hips, you braced against his thighs; holding the back of his thighs, scraping your nails on his ass cheeks like you know he liked. Sobbing and gagging, you shut your eyes in pure bliss.
You loved when he used you, when his anger was boiling over and he could just take his anger out on you in a brutal fuck.
Price’s balls drew tight. He pulled his cock from your mouth, wrapping his hand around the spit slicked length and pumped until his tip was spurting cum across your lips. “Eat it, like my good whore. Don’t let it go to waste.” He pushed his tip back in, holding the bottom of your jaw, and held his cock until it stopped twitching. “That’s it.”
You suckled on his cockhead until it was clean, licking it up like dripping ice cream. You gazed up at Price, with tear-stained cheeks, and glistening cum painted lips. Your breath had run ragged, but you whispered a broken, “Do you feel better?”
And his cock twitched in renewed interest. “Fuck.” Price lurched down, pulling you up by your waist, and plastered your stomach against the desk. “Spread your legs for me.” His hand molded into its home on the back of your neck. “Pants off.” He leaned his chest against your back, “I’m going to fuck you so hard that the soldiers will think twice before ticking me off again.”
Price’s hands ripped your pants down to your knees and they dropped to your ankles. He put his mouth to your ear again.
“Do I make myself clear?” He bellowed.
You braced your palms against the desktop, baring your hips for him, “Yes sir.”

Okay here's a companion piece to my "Jeremy Knox What The Hell Is Up With Your Family Evidence". I wanted to have a bullet point list so it was easier to keep track of everything. I am aware that this is probably excessive lol again if I missed anything feel free to let me know! I tried to keep all of my personal theories out of it and just present the facts but I included a couple explanations
Jeremy Knox What The Hell Is Up With Your Family The Bullet Point List Edition
Home
- "The trick to starting Saturdays off in the right foot was to get out of the house as early as possible. He'd realize years ago that he'd never be the first one awake"
- is on very good terms with the butler, William Hunter. William has coffee ready for him when he leaves in the morning, and texts him that his older brother and stepfather are in the sitting room when Jeremy gets home so he can avoid them and opens the front door for him
- is required to stay at the house during the weekday while school is in session. He is allowed to go to Cat and Laila's house on the weekends and over summer break. "Jean didn't miss away Jeremy's gaze slid past him to peer into the distance, or the tight tug at the corner of Cat's mouth. Jeremy was still smiling but the light had gone out in it" when talking about his living situation
Step Family / Mother
- step grandfather is a congressman
- "he'd wasted years arguing against such events, as he had absolutely no relation to his stepsfather's father, but his mother refused to budge. If a Congress man needed a picture perfect family for photo ops, the Knox family was duty bound to dress up and smile bright for the exhausting number of cameras"
- His stepfather's last name is Wilshire
- is stated that he is permanently on his stepfather's bad side
- told Jean not to call him by his last name, Knox
- says that he will maybe do frosted tips next year after he's graduated and doesn't have to deal with the fallout and was kicked out of family dinner because of his bleached hair
- Jeremy says " 'I've never been to Europe. Dad's been stationed there a couple times, but....' " The wording makes me feel like his biological father is still alive but they aren't in touch
- Jeremy's mother picked his therapist
Siblings
- does not get along with his older brother, Bryson
- Jeremy left the house without his keys in order to avoid a confrontation with Bryson.
Later on he states that he "idly wished he'd been brave enough to get his keys"
- Bryson lives at home during the summer and goes to college on the East Coast
- does not get along with his sister, Annalise
- Annalise "insisted on keeping her own place on the other side of the city year round"
- in the one scene with Annalise she is very hostile to Jeremy:
•"more drama...".   •"Overdue for a new scandal, hm?' she asked. 'End the way you started.' He didn't flinch but it was a near thing. Once upon a time she had gone to all of his high school games, but once upon a time was before the fall banquet that broke their family in half she's gone out of her way to forget everything she knew about Exy since then, and she'd never forgiven him for sticking with it. He'd walk through a hundred hypothetical arguments with his therapist in preparation for the day he finally fought back, but every time the chance came, he watched it slip past and miserable silence." • " sent him an arch look. 'What’s Grandpa think of this investment of yours?' It was obvious bait, but that couldn’t keep the edge out of Jeremy’s fierce, 'He is not our grandfather.' 'Careful,' Annalise warned him as she rummaged for her keys. 'You already destroyed the family. Don’t destroy my future, too. Door.' "
- asks Lucas if he feels safe with his brother and when Lucas says he's my brother Jeremy says that's not what I asked
- Cat hesitates when telling Jean how many siblings Jeremy has. She says there are three, one sister and two brothers. The older brother is an absolute tool and she nervously pushes her fries around her plate after speaking
- The second brother is never mentioned and seems to have a big part in The Incident. Potentially also played Exy. Is unknown if he is fully related, half sibling, or step sibling. Most likely younger than Jeremy
Money
- Jeremy keeps meticulous track of his receipts and how he spends his money. There are three different times it is pointed out that he keeps the receipt and puts it in his wallet
- "It was always best to have a paper trail when dealing with his mother's bookkeeper"
- gives Cat the remaining money in his wallet to help with groceries and rent even though "Cat was more concerned with how many hoops it took him to pull it together when he was permanently on his stepfather's bad side"
Miscellaneous
- Jeremy avoids the cops sitting at the park. Says there was little to no chance he'd know them, and no reason they'd recognize him, but Jeremy kept his gaze forward and his mouth shut until they were passed
- Rhemann says he will call the cops on Grayson if Jean wants him to and that he will "send Jeremy away first". Could be because Jean said that he did not want Jeremy in the room while Rhemann was cleaning his injuries and he figured Jean wouldn't want Jeremy there when he was talking to the police or it could have to do with Jeremy hiding his face from the cops at the park
- has specific fun ringtones for everybody except his family. Becomes very tense whenever they contact him
- automatically calls Wayne's suicide an accident and then "grimaced like it wasn't at all the word he wanted to use" perhaps whatever happened, his family calls The Incident an accident instead of what actually happened
- responds with " 'that isn't a joke,' Jeremy said, with an unexpected ferocity' " when Jean jokes about suicide
- Cat says no judgment when it comes to therapy and the right therapist can be life-changing and to look at Jeremy for proof. Insinuating that The Incident was fairly traumatic

☆~Pjsk boys getting jealous when someone flirted with you
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(wa)batle nonsense:
i just combined these two to make it easier on me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
warnings: very small mention of pepper spray, fem reader (i don't think theres anything else i am very bad at adding warnings)
Tumblr media
☆~Akito Shinonome
Akito would get very mad
He’d become very possessive, but then apologize for it later
He would put his hand around your waist and pull you closer to him to get his point across without even speaking
Akito would then tell the person about your relationship in a oddly threatening way
“I know what you’re trying to do. Back off. This is my girlfriend.”
If the person does not stop, you’ll just leave
He’ll tug your hand to walk away
If the person follows, remember how he punched Toya that one time?
Yeah, that’s what’s gonna happen.
violence is never the answer unless you’re akito
Tumblr media
☆~Rui Kamishiro
Does not waste any time whatsoever
He puts his arm around you and pulls your head onto his chest
Rui would then smile in his Rui way and tell the person about your relationship
“Excuse me, this is my girlfriend you’re trying to seduce, and I’d prefer it if you left her alone.”
If the person doesn’t stop, he’s grabbing your hand and you’re running away
bye rude person
Tumblr media
☆~Tsukasa Tenma
He gets mad in his Tsukasa way
Would 100% call you his co-star or the star of his life just to make the person know how much he loves you
“Hey! This is my co-star and she’s very tired from performing, so go away and let my star relax!!”
He’s still saying that even if you don’t perform with him
If the person doesn’t stop, he’s gonna yell
“WE’RE GONNA BE LATE, BETTER RUN!”
and off you go
on a separate note tsukasa is someone i cannot describe with words his reactions are so silly i love him sm
Tumblr media
☆~Toya Aoyagi
The most respectful one out of everyone there
He’s staying polite no matter what happens
“Please leave my girlfriend alone. Excuse us.”
If the person doesn’t stop he’s probably about to threaten to call the cops or once again be polite and ask them to leave
why is he so polite omg
BONUS☆!
Tumblr media
☆~KAITO
you can pick what kaito it is but it’s probably not niigo
edit: idek what im writing anymore is it even from pjsk or is it just kaito; the one that exists somewhere out there
Just laughs and wraps his arm around you
He’ll be polite but threatening too, a bit like Rui
But then he’ll actually threaten them if it gets that bad
“Excuse me, but in what place do you have a right to flirt with my girlfriend? Back off or else, haha!☆”
If they don’t stop he’s about to pull out a fake can of pepper spray to scare them off LMAO

->Wilbur Soot x Reader (hinted but never explicitly stated) ->No use of Y/n ->I tried to be as gender neutral as possible.
*Hurt, minimal comfort, hopeful ending TW: Su*cidal ideation, Self destructive thoughts and actions, SH mentions/references, depression, lots and lots of depression. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK Summary: You are stuck in a multi-month long depressive episode, and it's gotten so much worse. You're on your last leg, and you need someone to help you. Good thing best friend(?) Wilbur and his band are there to help :] Word Count - 2.4k
Wilbur Soot. Twitch streamer turned famous musician, heartthrob—you get it. He’s everything anyone could want in a partner. Trust me, I would know. He’s been my best friend since form. And since then, he’s only ever been kind and considerate and just overall an amazing person. What a guy right? With his stupid brown hair that covers one of his eyes when it’s outgrown. Stupid brown eyes that have just the right amount of dark and light brown in them. It’s stupid of me really, to ever hope for a future with him that involves us being more than friends. I can only hope though, right? He’s up there, in the states, singing his heart out on a stage. While I’m stuck, on the other side of paradise–more like purgatory–lamenting on how many people adore him. I’m feeling sorry for myself, rotting away in bed at 2 in the morning. It’s not like I have to work in three hours–whaaaat nooooo… A knot develops in my stomach at the mere thought of leaving my bed. Maybe losing my job isn’t so bad. Wilbur has told me time and time again he’d pay me to edit for him. But I could never make him do that. Never would I take advantage of him like that. I’d feel like more of a burden than I already do. The thought of him having to support me financially makes me want to vomit. It makes my skin crawl, so it’s okay if I waste away. If I end up rotting away in my bed. It’s fine. At least then I wouldn’t be able to consume too much of Wilbur’s time. Taking up too much of his time has always been my biggest fear. To me, it came true a long time ago and I’m finally reaping what I sowed. It sucks really, how I thought I'd have a shot. Just for it all to blow up in my face. Now he’s somewhere in America–having the time of his life. Good for him. Bad for me.
Reaching over, I grab my phone. My coworkers probably hate me. I keep asking them to cover my shifts so I can rot in bed for another day. It’s been like this since–September? It started off just once every few weeks. Now, it being almost December, I’ve not gone to work in over two weeks. What’s the point anymore anyways? I can’t do this. I can’t do anything. Deep down, when I started doing things for myself–I knew I wouldn’t be able to do this. That was two years ago. I guess I’m finally breaking.
Pulling the duvet over my head, I try not to think about how my breath smells, and the uncomfortable way the oil sticks to my face. I shove my head into the pillow. Trying to block out the sounds of people existing below my apartment. It’s so much easier to rot away when people don’t rely on you. When you have no reason for existence. I don’t want to die. But at the same time I don’t want to live. I’m too much of a coward to do anything about it, so I lay and wait. I wait for some omnipotent being to strike me down and judge me for how I’ve managed to mess up any and all relationships I’ve ever had with anyone. Me and Nikki haven’t spoken in almost a year. Me and Wilbur haven’t even seen each other in months My family doesn’t talk to me.
I wish I could say “The world is fucked and everyone hates me.” But that’s not the truth. The truth is I am my own undoing. I have destroyed everything I’ve worked for. Any relationships–platonic and romantic–have fallen through because of my own emotions and insecurities getting in the way. It’s not fair for anyone. Well, anyone except for me. I brought this upon myself. My phone is the only thing lighting up my face. I looked at the time. Suddenly it’s six in the morning, and I’m late for work. The thought makes me want to cry, but I can’t. I can’t tell if it’s apathy—or dehydration.
I call my boss. She answers. “Where are you?! I haven’t seen you in weeks! I’m worried about you hun, do you need me to call someone?” She opens, sounding both relieved and shocked I even called. I clear my throat the best I can, swallowing saliva feels like eating sandpaper. “I uh..I was calling to let you know I won’t be coming back. I’m quitting. And I’m sorry for not putting in my two weeks. It’s not–” Something foreign is bubbling up in my throat, I force myself to swallow it down. “-It’s not fair to you. And I’m sorry.” I whisper, hanging up shortly after.
I feel terrible for worrying her. I feel terrible for upsetting her. I feel terrible. I am terrible. I’m a parasite. I always have been. Mooching off of others in order to help myself get by. My thoughts fall back to Wilbur. I’ve been mooching off of him for however long we’ve been friends. I want him to be happy. I don’t want him to feel like he needs to be my friend to keep me alive. But at the same time–I can’t do this anymore. I can’t look myself in the mirror and tell myself it’s me. I can’t. I’m not the person I thought I’d become. I’m not the person I thought I was. I’m useless. My phone rings again. I go to decline it, I can’t.
Wilbur’s face greets me. His contact photo, the two of us at the amusement park I helped them film for Tommy’s vlog channel. We’re smiling. His arm over my shoulder, and my head on his arm. I remember that day. Wilbur held me for a bit while Tommy and Phil were off filming a different part of the vlog with Russ. I was overwhelmed and so was he, so we took the time to chill by the snack stands. He got tommy cotton candy, and we split popcorn even though he couldn’t really taste it. We spent a good time just taking funny pictures with each other. I remember that day, it was a great one.
Tears breach my eyes before I can stop them. A sob ripping through me, I force my face into the pillow to muffle it. The ringing stops. My tears don’t, and that makes me feel so much worse. My chest convulses as my sobs reverberate through the room. I’m a mess. I’m laying in my bed, rotting. Wasting away and feeling sorry for myself. Everything is terrifying, every breath I take reminds me of how I’m alive. Reminds me of how I can’t escape the feeling of impending doom that washes over me. I’m going to die here. I’m going to die. I was never permanent.
I knew I couldn’t do this. I’ve been lying to myself, little lies, white lies. To convince myself everything was okay. That it was fine for me to fall in love, it was fine for me to believe I wasn’t just taking up space. That I wasn’t slowly getting tired.
Contemplating whether or not cut myself some slack–but ending up just cutting myself loose. I lift the duvet from my head, staring at the ceiling. My eyes flick to the ground, clothes and food everywhere. Some of it’s moldy. It makes me feel worse about myself. Turning my head, I look to my PC. I should sell it. Someone else would be much happier with it. I haven’t used it in a while anyways. I can’t take care of any of the stuff I have can I?
My phone rings again, this time I do answer.
“Oh my god–” I hear multiple people take a sharp breath in. I can’t stop myself from making a small noise of confusion. “Hey..Your boss–called us.” I recognize the voice to be Joe. I lift the phone, checking the caller ID. It was Wilbur again. “Wil—?” It hurts so bad to talk, I haven’t used my voice this much since the end of October. I hear a choked noise and whispers. “We’re gonna—come over there okay? The tour ended last night, no gigs for a while. Wil’s been missing you y’know.” I can’t tell who said that, “I–no. Sorry.” I don’t know why I said that. I don’t know why I hung up either.
Maybe deep down I did want them to help, I do want their help. But logically–It’s for the best.
I swing my legs over the side of my bed, cringing at how my clothes hang off of me. My back hurts something awful. I’m so tired.
Yet I stand on two feet and walk to my bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror, I don’t recognize them. My hair–too long and too oily for it to be mine. My skin is pale and the bags under my eyes are so dark they could rival a racoon.
It’s then that my legs decide to give out. I can feel my knees split as I hit the tile. I’m so tired. I look down at the sweater I’m wearing. It’s one of Wil’s. I can’t remember when I put it on. I can’t remember a lot of things recently. Like when this got so bad. Or when my arms started to sting. My eyes are heavy, I can barely keep them open. Maybe a nap wouldn’t be so bad.
When I wake up it’s to voices around me. I’m laying on something warm–It’s moving. I can’t find it in myself to open my eyes. My breathing picks up, and I hear an intake of air accompanied by a hand on my forehead. My eyes are shooting open in fear before I’m trembling. He’s above me, looking down at me like I could break.
I look around, there's two other people. I can barely make them out. Joe and Ash. It’s hard to think. It’s so hard to think.
“There you are..” Wilbur whispers, his pointer finger gently stroking my cheekbone. “What happened to you love?” I can’t tell if it’s his tone, or the fact he looks so broken. But I can’t stop my eyes from watering and my body from turning into him, hiding myself away. Embarrassment filled me, they’d seen it all. The moldy food, the dirty clothes. They probably saw the abundance of mail I'd gotten as well. People are walking out the room. Not Wilbur, he stays. He stays and makes me look at him. “Here’s what’s gonna happen, I’m gonna help you shower, and they’re going to clean and get you food. Okay?” My eyes widened. I shake my head so quickly it hurts. His face falls, he looks down at what I’m wearing. His face falls even more. “Love…” He whispers. “I don’t–I can’t. Don’t make me.” I whisper. Wilbur wipes away my tears and shakes his head. “No. You’re going to get clean, eat, and then you will sleep for however long you need to.” He lifts me like I’m nothing.
He sets me on the toilet, turning to the tub and turning on the faucet. He waits for it to get warm before he’s plugging the drain and helping me get undressed. He brushes the hair from my face, he frowns at the sight of the back of my head. He looks down at my arms before I can see him clenching his jaw. “We’ll work on the matts too.” He picks me up again, placing me in the tub and going to shut the door. He grabs a towel from the cabinet, as well as a washcloth. He swipes the comb from the counter.
“I’m sorry.” I can’t help but whisper. He sighs. “I know. But it’s alright. We were worried about you.” Was all he said before he’s dousing my hair in water. He keeps a hand on my forehead, stopping the water from getting into my eyes. And with that, he applies conditioner and starts to de-matt my hair. An hour and countless tub refills later, my hair is de-matted and I’m clean. Feeling slightly better too. Wilbur gave me the crewneck he was wearing for comfort, before planting a kiss on my forehead and leaving the room to grab other clothes. The sounds from the outside are a lot less foggy now. I can hear the boys outside bickering and talking. “Are they okay Wil?” “What happened?” “From your face, I can tell it wasn’t good.”
I can’t help but stand weakly, the towel wrapped around me. I look in the mirror. I look a little more like myself. I touch my face, I look pale. I am pale. My hair is a bit longer now. I don’t smell bad anymore. I do feel better, but I can’t help but think I’m making Wilbur do this.
Wilbur reappears, he looks at me and smiles. He hands me the clothing he picked out before leaving the room once again, though he stands just outside the door.
I dress quickly. Slipping on Wilbur’s crewneck once I have my shirt on. I walk out, giving Wilbur a small smile. “You uh–You didn’t have to do this.” He takes my hand and leads me through my now clean apartment. “I did. Because if I didn’t–If we didn’t, you’d be dead right now, or you’d have killed yourself soon.” He says, sitting me down at the table that’s been cleared off. “Now, be honest. When is the last time you remember eating something?” He asks.
My face drops. That’s the thing–I can’t. “Uh–Tuesday?” I say, like I even know what day it is, his face falls. “It’s Friday.” He deadpans before going into the kitchen, he comes back with Ash, Mark, and Joe. They each have both in their hands. Wilbur has two.
“It’s just soup. Easy on the stomach.” Joe pipes up before sitting on my right, Wilbur sits on my left, and Ash and Mark sit across from me. “We don’t need to talk about things right now, no one is going to make you. But you need to talk to someone soon. Maybe not us, but someone.” Wilbur said, putting his hand on my knee. “Yeah. I think I can do that.” They smile, I eat my soup, and for the first time since September–I feel permanent.

Back at the hotel, Dicckie was discussing with Alastor about the commercial issue.
"HAH me? making a deal with 𝘺𝘰𝘶? Don't make me laugh."
Was the moth's reaction to Alastor's offer.
Did the bastard think he was a fool?
He'd rather rip out his remaining eye than strike a deal with that freak.
Alastor let out an amused chuckle as he lightly tapped the moth's head with his cane. " Not for your soul of course! Just a simple deal that is all!"
He had no use of such a worthless soul like his anyway.
Irritated, Dicckie swatted the cane away with his hand. "What could a demon like 𝘺𝘰𝘶 possibly want other than my soul?"
"Easy! I do this stupid commercial for you, and you never ask me to engage with this technology ever again, it's simple!"
"I mean.."
"Or! Charles can come back to absolutely nothing!" Alastor said with a careless shrug. "Your choice my friend!"
.....
"Fine." The moth grumbled, handing over the camera with a resigned sigh.
"Wonderfu-!"
"Sir! Sir! Sir!"
Nifty called with a bright smile as she barged into the room and pulled on his coat.
Alastor looked down at her with a soft smile. " Yes my dear?"
The little girl pointed to the living room and exclaimed. "Charles is on tv! He's famous now!"
What?
"Oh is that so?" Alastor said, his voice tinged with curiosity while tilting his head as the two men silently glanced at each other.
This was bad news.
"YES! Come and see!"
Was the last thing she said before running off.
Dicckie was suspicious now.
"Those meetings were never broadcasted before, what changed now?"
Alastor put his arms behind his back as he started walking. "Ooh I have a feeling I know who's behind this, let's just go for now and see how's our little prince holding up, shall we?"
Dicckie nodded and stood up.
Once they got there, they saw Angel Dust and Husk sitting on the couch, while Nifty laid on the table, swinging her feet while her single eye was glued to the tv screen.
The man grimaced when he heard 𝘩𝘪𝘮 speak.
"-I failed to seduce her-"
'You have got to be kidding me..'
Angel rolled his eyes with an unimpressed look while texting on his phone. "It's no wonder looking at you."
The moth sat down on the couch beside Husk as he watched the scene unfold.
Like every year, his ex-boss kept babbling about useless, unrelated stuff so that the meeting time would go to waste and the other party wouldn't have much time to say anything.
"Got a good 275 sir."
𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥?
Dicckie scoffed, what a rookie number, looks like Lute was still as slow as ever, he used to score much higher.
Of course, not as much as her, but still enough to be considered one of Adam's favorites.
Well, 𝘦𝘹-favorite now.
"You know those are my people, right..?"
"Of course! And that's what makes it even better!"
He sighed, his former boss hadn't changed a single bit.
Just as he expected, the man refused to listen to anything Charles was saying and began mocking him.
"-To move up the next extermination."
WHAT?!
Oh this was bad.
They could only watch in silence as Charles got thrown out of the room.
"Looks like Lucifer's brat fucked things up for us all! What a shocker, I'm sure your father will be 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥."
Alastor's eye twitched when he heard that.. insufferable voice.
He will make sure to deal with the man later.
........
Angel Dust snickered. "There goes our chance at survival, not that there was any to begin with." He mused, turning his attention back to his phone, frowning as hundreds of texts from his..boss kept coming in.
Alastor tapped Dicckie's head with his cane again and spoke in a mocking tone. "See? What did I tell you? Though I'm sure you expected this to be the outcome as well."
"Shut your damn mouth you-"
"Excuse me, are those yours?"
That voice....
Dicckie's eye immediately snap back, his heart skipping a beat at who he saw.
'It's her..'
"Oh look a pretty angel!" Nifty pointed.
Oh yes, she looked as beautiful as ever.
"Oh my! Is it just me, or does this woman look H.O.T!"
Dicckie frowned as the spider was basically undressing the woman with his eyes.
"Believe me, it's just you." Husk groaned while drinking his beer and glancing at the woman.
That was a lie.
"Aww what's wrong whiskers, upset that I'm not paying attention to you?"
"You wish."
Noticing the bloody hammer, Nifty added while jumping up and down on the table. " OOOH she's pretty AND a bad girl! I like her!"
Alastor hummed as he looked at the woman.
She was quite the beauty indeed.
Glancing down at Dicckie, he blinked when he noticed the stunned expression and the faint blush covering his cheeks.
Oh?
Interesting...
Feeling Alastor's gaze on him, the moth shot him a glare. "The fuck you looking at?"
"I couldn't help but notice that you look quite infatuated with her, tell me, is it love at first sight, or perhaps..." he glanced at the woman then back at him. "You know her already?"
?!
Shit!
"What the fuck are you babbling about!"
"Relaaax I was just playing with you~ there's no need to get so upset," he said, turning back to the tv.
This was now even more entertaining!
Wait..
What was Charles doing?
Everybody stared in shock as the...accident happened.
Husk spat out his drink.
Nifty covered her eye.
Angel raised a brow and smirked. "Looks like someone got lucky today."
Dicckie resisted the urge to punch Alastor when he started laughing, not noticing that his grip on the cane tightened.
This bastard was enjoying this!
Turning back, he could only watch with a heavy heart and pray for Charles.
This was 𝘯𝘰𝘵 going to end well.

......
You two stayed motionless on the ground for a few moments, neither of you making a single sound.
....
Charles, upon hearing the sound of your nails slowly scratching across the ground, immediately snapped out of it and got off of you, staring down with widened eyes at what he had done.
Shit shit shit shit!!!
What have he done!?
He quickly helped you set up to your knees and started taking off his jacket.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!!" He exclaimed, avoiding looking at your cleavage with a red face. "I don't mean to!"
Just as he placed the jacket on you, the door in front of them opened with a loud thub, revealing Adam with a scowl on his face.
"What the FUCK is all this nois-"
The words brutally died in his throat when he saw this sight in front of him.
.........
What the 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬 was he seeing right now.

Dicckie winced as he witnessed the two angels get involved.
Now it was really over for Charles.

....
"YOU LITTLE SHIT!!"
In a blink of an eye, Charles found himself on the ground, groaning in pain while holding his broken nose.
Feeling something cold on his neck, he opened his eyes to see Lute looming over him, his mask gone, revealing his piercing eyes and twisted face full of hatred, the man tightened his grip on the spear, pressing it against his neck further.
Leaning in closer, and in a voice full of wrath and scorn, he spat out his words.
"You think you can just come in and humiliate one of our finest angels with your filthy hands and get away with it?"
Charles shook his head. "NO! I-"
"Save it you piece of shit."
While the two were arguing Adam moved over to you and helped you up to your feet, before spreading his golden wings to cover your body.
Turning his attention to the blonde, his expression shifted to a menacing glare while clenching his teeth.
"YOU FUCKING LITTLE LIMP DICK DEMON THE FUCK YOU TRYNA DO HUH?? TRYING TO GET YOUR DICK WET OR SOMETHING?!"
Flinching as the spear dug deeper into his flesh, Charles held his hands up. "That was not my intention I just-"
"Shut your fucking mouth, honestly, what else did I expect from Lucifer and that bitch's whiny brat? you-"
You remained silent during all this, unsure of how to react to everything that just happened.
You were just humiliated on live television, thousands of filthy sinners have seen you half-naked...
Suddenly, you felt a small tap on your leg and a voice spoke.
"Are you ok boss?"
Looking down, you saw Scramble glancing up at you, concern clear in his eyes, his hat was nowhere to be found and....
You paused when you noticed something horrifying.
Was that a 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘬 in his shell..?
With your eyes slightly widened from shock, you bent down and picked the egg up, your fingers lightly caressing the crack, afraid of causing any further damage.
"Your shell..."
"It doesn't hurt that much boss!"
........
Your eyes narrowed as you shot the demon a furious glare.
Carefully lowering Scramble back down, you shoved Adam's wings away from you.
"I will move up the damn exterminat- hey where are you going!?"
Looking over your shoulder, you smiled at your boss. "There's no need to do that Sir." You said, making your way over to Charles and Lute.
You had a more suitable punishment in mind.
Standing behind Lute, you spoke. " Please step aside Lute."
"But he has to pa-"
"I said, step aside."
.....
Lute gave in to your demand, quietly stepping back to let you stand in front of Charles, the two men looked at each other with confused expressions, waiting to see what you were going to do.
"I swear it was an accident!" Charles tried to explain as you helped him up, his hands stained from the blood that was flowing down his broken nose. "I'm really sorr-"
You softly pressed your finger against his lips, silencing him instantly.
Confused, a faint blush spread across his face from the contact.
With a subtle grin gracing your lips, you gave him a playful wink before proceeding to lift your leg and deliver a swift, powerful kick right to his most sensitive area.

Light As A Feather | Spencer Reid x F! Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: The gravity of your job begins getting to you, and you come to realize you've forgotten how beautiful life can be. And one tranquil night, it's like Spencer is able to lift the weight and makes you feel light as a feather. Inspired by Hozier's "I, Carrion (Icarian)"
Cross posted on Wattpad and AO3 and here is my masterlist!
Word Count: 8.7k
Warnings: General violence, angst, pining. Poorly Edited
a/n: howdy folks. I'm still in my spencer reid/hozier brainrot era and so here's another. I hope you all enjoy it and thank you for all of the support I've received, it means the world!!
His presence is enough to make you forget about the horrors of the world, of your job. Right now, it's just you and him, and you've never felt lighter; so unburdened. You're convinced that if he wasn't there, holding onto you with his magnetic pull, that you may just float away in the breeze like a feather.
You had never been to Colorado before, and now you wish you could be here under different circumstances. It's the beginning of fall and it seems as if the people of Boulder are head over heels in love with the season. Which is understandable, you think you'd love fall this much too if you lived in a place this beautiful. The trees are painted in vibrant shades of yellow, orange, and red and the distant mountains stand proudly in the background with their snow capped tops. Your eyes are glued to the lush landscape as the SUV drives through Boulder to reach your destination.
You, along with the rest of your team, were called by the Park Rangers from the Rocky Mountain National Park about a few bodies they had discovered. Your superior, Hotch, decided their case was odd enough for you all to pay a visit. At first you hadn't wanted to come, convinced that there would be something closer to home to tend to, but now you're glad you agreed to come. Fall time in Quantico just isn't as picturesque.
Eventually, the SUV you're crammed into alongside three of your other team members drives up a long winding driveway to a hidden cabin in the woods. Hotch had booked the place, seeing as how close it is to the National Park and how secluded it is from potential people of interest. Once again, you tried to argue that the cellphone reception would be terrible up here and that it might hinder the case, but you were outvoted, and the rest of the team wanted to stay here. You hadn't understood why, but when the venue comes into view your jaw almost drops and you understand.
The cabin isn't at all what you had been expecting. Instead of some run-down, small, stuffy house, you see a large, sprawling log mansion. There are large windows adorning the front, accompanied by a wraparound porch on the second level. It's very reminiscent of a tasteful ski lodge.
"Wow." You breathe out as the car comes to a stop outside the front door.
"Still think it's a bad idea?" Hotch smarts off as he opens the trunk and starts handing people their bags. Fighting the urge to roll your eyes, you grab your bag from him and stare up at your home for the next few days.
The rest of the team wastes no time in going inside to claim their room, but you're happy to meander around for a little bit to familiarize yourself with the layout. You'll let them fight over the rooms and take whatever is left. After all, in a place of this size, even the smallest room is bound to be plentiful.
As you go through the halls admiring the artwork on the wall you spot Spencer doing the same, staring at a particular painting on the wall. You take just a second to appreciate the way he looks, standing there and analyzing art. You've always had an appreciation for Spencer, and not just for his good looks, but also his intelligence and his company.
Since your first day at the FBI you've felt drawn to him, he made you feel important, and heard, when others dismissed you. In fact, he's the reason you're on the BAU team in the first place. He was the only one to recognize your abilities and talents. You try not to hold a grudge about the fact the rest of the team was ready to let you transfer out after your internship. But instead of standing there and gawking at him like some braindead fool, you walk up to him, setting your bag on the floor beside your feet.
You look at the painting that's caught his attention and try to see what he does, try to think about how he interprets it. His mind is an amazing, complex thing, and you hope that one day you'll be able to understand just a small portion of it. It's a painting of the Great Rocky National Park, you can tell from the mountain formation and the river running through it. The painting is almost an identical match, as if it's actually a picture rather than painting. However, there's one small spot on the painting that looks like it's been painted over and over, it sticks out to you.
"What do you think happened there?" You point out the flaw and look up to Spencer, whose eyebrows are drawn closely together as he leans in and looks at the spot. After a few moments of quiet reflection, he stands back to his full height.
"I'm not sure. It looks like maybe the painter had difficulties finding the right shade." He says, still staring at the spot. Your eyes linger on his face before tearing them away before he catches on.
"You're probably right. I'm going to go find what room they left me." You say, grabbing your bag from beside you. Spencer bends over to pick up his as well,
"I should probably do the same." A small smile adorns his face, and the two of you begin walking through the cabin to find the empty rooms the team left you. According to the venue's website there should be one room for each agent, and you're thankful for that. You had never been a fan of sharing room with your coworkers, something about it just feels wrong, but when there's no way to avoid it you endure without much fuss.
The two of you check every room on the first floor only to find that they had all been claimed, meaning you two had to climb the stairs for rooms on the second level. Of course the rest of them would all claim the first floor rooms first, nobody likes to bother with stairs first thing in the morning.
You and Spencer find the empty rooms, side by side with direct access to the porch. You suppose there are worse rooms to have. Eager to step out onto the porch, you toss your bag on the bed and open the sliding door. Colorado's crisp air envelopes you as you step out and you take a deep breath. The air out here feels so clean and refreshing. Great Rocky National Park is directly in front of the porch, giving you an eagle's eye view of a portion of it as you lean onto the banister. Might as well enjoy a little bit of peace before you start working the case.
-----
"Three women were found in the same spot days apart from each other. All bludgeoned and stabbed through the heart." The Park Ranger speaks, indicating to the crime scene that's been barricaded with yellow tape. The Ranger stares at the scene, which is now an inconspicuous patch of dirt and grass, as if there weren't several dead women resting here. The scene is right beside a big body of crystal blue water.
You hang back from the rest of the team, opting to look at the surroundings instead of the immediate scene. The team knows now that finding the tiny details is your forte, and they leave you to your own devices in the beginning of investigations. The cold breeze causes you to hold your too-thin jacket closer to your body as you begin your observations.
"They were all found in the same spot?" Hotch asks the Ranger, who confirms that all of the victims were found in the exact same spot. As you examine the landscape, your eyes narrow in an attempt to find even the subtlest detail. Before too long, you see something out of place in the lush grass and walk over to it while pulling on a pair of gloves.
There's a pamphlet laying in the grass and upon further examination you see that it's been marked up like someone gave the traveler directions. Directions right to this spot. The killer lured at least one victim here. This trail is far off the beaten path, it's not marked by the Rangers. Only someone familiar with the area would know about it.
"Look at this." You call out to your team, and soon a few of them join your side to examine what you found. Spencer and Morgan look over your shoulder at the pamphlet, which is in better condition than you would've thought considering it was laying in grass beside a body of water.
"They're familiar with the area, they had this planned." Spencer speaks up and you nod your head, agreeing with him. Morgan holds out an evidence bag once he's done looking at it and you slip it inside, protecting it from any further damage. Morgan walks off with the pamphlet, leaving you and Spencer together, both deep in thought.
"What have you come up with so far?" You ask softly, curious to see if his theories line up with yours. Spencer shifts his weight and sighs, looking back to the crime scene.
"The killer is organized. They lured at least one victim right to this spot, and I'm assuming they did the same with the others. And they had to have brought the weapons with them. While there are branches to bludgeon people with, there's no evidence of anything nearby being cut down recently. If they used a natural object, it's likely they would've tried to blend it back in with nature." He explains and you nod your head along with what he's saying as you observe the scene and the scenery surrounding you.
"Unless they tossed the weapon into the water. They could have easily used a rock to bludgeon the victims." You counter his explanation. Spencer and you always did this with one another when forming theories. Not as to dissuade, or prove the other wrong, but to make your theories and explanations stronger. It's one of the qualities you most like about him. His eyes drift to the water.
"They could have. But they had to have brought the knife, there's no natural substitute that would leave that precise of a wound." He says, and you relent, agreeing with him.
"I want to question the Rangers, get their work schedules, and see the call logs. I also want to know where the victims were staying and if there's any camera footage of them in the welcome center." You shiver with a gust of wind and hold your arms tighter around your body as you walk off to gather the information you want.
Spencer decides to join you in going to the welcome center, claiming that in a huge national forest that none of us should be traveling alone. He has a good point, but you wouldn't have objected to his company either way. The Ranger from the scene escorts you two to the welcome center in his cruiser, the warm air letting your fingers regain their feeling.
"Who found the bodies?" You ask as you hold your hands in front of the vent emitting warm air. The Ranger looks at you through the rearview mirror before focusing on the road again.
"I found one and Birch found the others during his patrols." He answers and you mentally make a note to find Birch.
"Is that area regularly patrolled?" You push further for more information and the Ranger shakes his head.
"No, it wasn't, until I found the first girl. She had to have been out there for at least three days. After that I sent Birch out to keep an eye on the area. He found victim two a couple days after the first, and found the third a single day after the second." He says and you look to Spencer, both noting the decrease in time between kills. A sinking feeling in your stomach tells you that if you don't find the killer soon, then you may be finding a fourth victim any day now.
Once you reach the welcome center, the Rangers are more than happy to provide you with the security camera footage, work schedules, call logs, and anything else you may need. In fact, it's Ranger Birch that hands over the information himself. He's a young man, maybe mid twenties, with meticulously groomed hair and pressed uniform pants.
"Thank you." You tell him with a warm smile, taking the footage and other information off the counter and into your hands. He nods back with a wide, white-toothed smile and tells you and Spencer to come back if you need anything else. The moment you step out of the welcome center you give Spencer a pointed look with a raised eyebrow.
"What do you think?" He asks you before you can ask him. You lick your lips and glance back into the welcome center, Ranger Birch still looking at you. Your eyes find Spencer's and you motion for him to follow you.
"I think he takes pride in both his appearance and work, and he knows the park well." Hotch pulls up in a black SUV to pick you and Spencer up to return you to the cabin, where the entire team will discuss what's been found so far.
-----
The trip up to the cabin only takes about ten minutes. Your mind works to put pieces of the puzzle together the entire trip back, but there's just not enough known information yet, and it bothers you. You like to have answers quickly because the faster you get answers, the less people will die. Your leg bounces up and down the entire way back, eager to begin deciphering the evidence.
The SUV comes to a stop outside the cabin and before Hotch can turn the car off, you're out and making your way to the entrance. A man dressed in a casual flannel shirt hunched over the flowerbeds stops you in your tracks before you get to the front door. He wipes the dirt from his landscaping gloves onto his worn overalls as he greets you.
"Good afternoon ma'am, I hope you enjoy your stay here. I'm James, I do the landscaping work around here and a few other cabins nearby." He offers you a warm smile, which you try your best to return, but your anticipation is causing you to become short.
"Nice meeting you." You go to walk into the cabin, but James' voice stops you once more. Spencer and Hotch approach, engaged in a conversation likely pertaining to what happened at the welcome center.
"Wait, ma'am. I never caught your name." James smile is reminiscent of an old friend, and he looks at you expectedly. Against your best wishes, you answer him, not wanting to be unnecessarily rude to your host.
"We'll, it's been a pleasure to meet you. Maybe I'll catch you around before you head out. Are you here for work?" He continues his conversation as Spencer and Hotch walk into the cabin undeterred by the landscaper. Maybe if you had just slowed down one of them would've been caught instead. James' eyes linger on the items in your hands.
"Yeah, the whole team is here for work." You answer, shuffling some items around in your grasp. James nods his head and tears his gaze away from the items, the warm smile returning to his face.
"Must be some important work if a whole team is here. By the looks of you all I'd say you're some sort of police." He guesses, eyeing the firearm that's strapped to your thigh. Your eyes narrow at the man, and you nod.
"Yeah, something like that. I really have to get going, they're probably waiting for me in there. Have a nice night, James." You find your exit route out of the conversation with the friendly mannered landscaper. As you step through the door you hear his voice call out to you once more.
"If there's anything I can do to help, number's in the guestbook." The door closes, and the conversation finally ends.
Taking a cleansing breath, you join the rest of the team who are all gathered around the rectangular dining table, which has been designated as the investigation headquarters. On the table are a slew of files, photos, and papers. You add the information gathered from the welcome center to that collection and Hotch starts the conversation.
Hotch reviews the known information and circulates photos of the victims. They're all beautiful young women, and according to Garcia, were staying at nearby resorts and cabins for vacation. The photos get passed to you and you look at them intently, committing to memory every detail you can absorb before you pass them along. It's obvious that these victims were chosen because of their physical appearance, they all share the same basic features such as hair color, eye color, and stature. And eerily, you seem to match the profile as well.
"The physical appearance of the victim is important to the unsub. Having three victims with similar features is no mistake, nor is it a coincidence." You add to the conversation, seeing your team members look from you to the photos on the table.
"Maybe the victims represent someone who scorned the unsub? Extracting revenge through them." Spencer suggests, and it's a good theory. You chew on the skin of your bottom lip as your mind races with theories and trying to piece the information together like a puzzle.
After the general briefing, Hotch assigns Morgan and Prentiss to interview the Park Rangers to establish alibis, JJ and Garcia to continue conducting their online investigation, and Spencer and yourself to go over the welcome center footage. Hotch was going to speak to the people running the cabins the victims were staying at to see if there are any leads there.
You and Spencer are on the second hour of footage when your eyes start becoming heavy. Reaching for the remote, you pause the footage and stretch, needing to take a break.
"You want some coffee?" You ask him, needing something to keep yourself awake. He nods his head,
"Yes, please." You stand from your seat and go to the kitchen to prepare the two of you some coffee. You're sure to put an ungodly amount of sugar in Spencer's, knowing that if you don't you'll hear him complain about it. And most times you enjoy the sound of his voice, but you don't know if you can stand hours of CCTV footage and him complaining about a lack of sugar right now.
You return to the table and place his mug in front of him, steam rising from it. You sip your own and resume your position at the table and reach for the remote. Spencer reaches for it at the same time, your hands brushing one another's. His hand is warm and soft, perfect for the chilly autumn air.
"Sorry." You say, pulling your hand away and forcing any other thought than the footage from your mind, knowing that there's already a faint pink adorning your cheeks. No matter how long you've worked with him, even just simple touches is enough to send you spiraling if you let it. You try not to delve into what that might mean; you profile people for a living, the last thing you want to do is profile yourself. Without a word, Spencer just smiles back politely and presses play.
The footage rolls and you two identify the victims who all showed up unaccompanied, which you find odd considering they were on vacation with their families. Your hand jots down quick notes in sloppy handwriting as you critically examine what you do, and don't, see in the footage. Spencer and you replay the footage showing the victims easily five times each, both silently taking notes, knowing you're going to compare soon. After watching the third victim's footage for the last time, you look over to Spencer, who's face is illuminated by the golden glow of the setting sun.
"Do you want to go first?" He asks and you nod, trying not to stare at how the sunlight reflects the amber color in his warm prismatic eyes. You look down to your notes and try to get your thoughts straight before speaking.
"I noted that all three victims walked into the welcome center with a pamphlet already in hand. None of them took the ones provided by the park. They all showed up alone. I can only assume that the unsub gave them the pamphlets with instructions on how to find the scene. Only, I'm willing to bet it was framed as a good-intentioned suggestion. There's no way those women would have gone if they didn't trust the unsub to some degree." Your eyes glance from your horribly written notes up to Spencer, who's leaning on the table, clinging to every word you say. He hums in consideration before he speaks up.
"I would agree. And if the victims were all staying at tourist destinations, those pamphlets were likely already there. So now the question is whether or not the unsub talked to them at their cabins or before they walked into the welcome center." He says, and a lightbulb goes off in your mind.
"Wouldn't it make more sense for the unsub to speak to them at their cabins? I mean, if the unsub caught them in the parking lot there's a chance they might have their families with them. But if the unsub spoke to them at their cabins, the women might be persuaded to leave their families behind for some reason." You say, going with the logical deductions that pop into your mind. Spencer mulls over your words, his eyes narrowing, staring back at you in deep thought.
"You're right. The unsub likely works for the resorts. It would give them access to the victims and it wouldn't be weird for them to give suggestions to guests." He confirms what you thought and you look back to the screen, seeing the third victim frozen in time.
"We should let the team know." You say and Spencer nods. The two of you finish off your coffee and wait for the rest of the team to arrive. You're confident that the two of you have a solid lead on this case. You only hope you can find the unsub before there's a fourth victim.
-----
The sun sets on the scenic landscape and you lean against the banister of the wraparound porch. The rest of the team isn't back yet, and the last thing you want to do is stay inside when it's so beautiful out here. The snowcapped mountain in the distance gleams brilliantly, and it's almost blinding, but you can't look away. Sounds of water rushing and birds chirping fill the air and if you let your mind relax enough it's almost like you're not here to solve murders.
Your head rests atop of your arms on the railing and you breathe in the cool air. The breeze gently blows your hair around, sending a shiver up your spine. You had severely underestimated how cold it would be here, and as a result, you failed to pack adequately because you were basing your packing off of Virginia fall time temperatures, which are noticeably warmer.
The sliding door opens and you turn to see Spencer walking out of his room. He joins your side and leans forward on the railing, looking out at the breathtaking view. His curly brown hair gets blown into his face, and you have to stop yourself from reaching out and tucking it behind his ear. You're also enjoying the breathtaking view.
He looks at peace, which is not something you usually see in him. His mind works overtime almost twenty four hours a day, especially on cases. It has to be torturous sometimes, to never get a reprieve from your own thoughts; and that's something you know all too well. There are some nights where you can't sleep because gruesome memories from the job haunt you.
Noticing that you're staring at him, you turn your gaze back to the colorful trees. The two of you enjoy a moment of tranquility together, a rare moment in the fast-paced career you pursued. A bird flies by, and you can only imagine what that freedom feels like. Most times you feel like your job keeps you cemented in one place, always dealing with death and the most heinous monsters that reside in this world. You often forget just how beautiful and free life can be.
A particularly crisp breeze comes through and you visibly shiver, which Spencer notices. Without a word, he goes into his room and comes back moments later with the throw blanket that was folded at the bottom of the bed. It's burnt orange in color and is made of faux fur, warm and soothing. Spencer drapes it over your shoulders and you hold onto the ends, keeping it secure around you. If you could stay in this moment forever, you would.
Spencer stands so closely beside you that you feel his warmth coming through the blanket, and without much thought, or care, you lean into him just slightly. He makes no effort to move, and the two of you stay like that for what seems like an eternity. His warmth and his smell are so comforting and makes you feel safe. Deep down in your heart you know he makes you feel at home.
The two of you enjoy each other's company in a peaceful silence. There's never been the need to fill the silence with him, like there is the others. While you two are quite talkative in the team dynamic, when you find yourselves alone it's often relaxed with no expectations. You two talk when you want, or is needed, but when there's nothing to say you're more than happy to just be around him. And you hope he feels the same about you, and you think he does, but you're never brave enough to ask for fear of ruining whatever relationship it is that you two share.
Sighing, you cuddle yourself further into the blanket as the sun dips lower and lower, the golden hue turning orange. Spencer moves beside you, and you see his fingers twitch, like he was going to reach out for something but doesn't. Your head turns to look at him above you, and his head lowers, so that your eyes meet one another.
You had always known his eyes were beautiful, but up this close you can truly admire the depth of them. The golden hues remind you of the sunsets, the green in them is like the rich moss that adorns the sides of the rocks; or like the pine needles on the tall trees, and the brown is reminiscent of swirling espresso. Taken aback from his closeness and the heat creeping up your spine, your lips fall open and his eyes glance between them and your eyes. He's so close to you, your bodies practically pressed against one another. You feel yourself being drawn to him, like he has his own magnetic pull.
But whatever was about to happen is cut short by the rest of the team arriving back to the cabin. You and Spencer seem to come back to reality and step away from one another. Flustered, you unwrap the blanket from your shoulders and hand it back to him, already missing the warmth.
"Thank you." Your voice is soft and tender, and his hand brushes your own as he grabs the blanket from you.
"Of course." He smiles softly back, and the two of you part ways to join the rest of your team downstairs to catch up on the latest information. But you can barely pay attention to what is being said, for your mind is drowning with flashes of Spencer out on the porch.
-----
The next morning you wake up as the sun shines in through the windows, illuminating the room beautifully and warmly. Hotch had given everyone the night to mull over the information and said that the investigation will pick right back up in the morning. After you get dressed and ensure your service weapon is properly attached to the harness around your thigh, you make your way down the stairs for a morning cup of coffee. Morgan, Prentiss, and Hotch are already sat at the table, picking at some toast for breakfast as they get the sleep rid from their systems.
You make a cup for yourself and Spencer, knowing he will be up any moment now. As per usual, too much sugar gets put into his and then you pour your own. The warm drink calms your nerves and you close your eyes, trying to get your mind prepared for whatever the day may bring. You know there may very well be a fourth victim found soon and you need to be on the top of your game to find the unsub.
"Good morning." A raspy voice makes your eyes open, and you see Spencer walking into the kitchen, dressed in a button up and tie. It's quite casual for him, but you like it, it looks nice on him.
"Good morning, made yours right here." You say and nod over to the mug on the counter. He looks from you to the mug with a smile on his face.
"Thanks." He says, and the two of you stay in the kitchen, sipping on your coffee and waiting for Hotch to give everyone orders.
"Feeling good about today?" It's something you always ask when an investigation seems to be coming to a close. You think it sets a tone, an expectation that the team will succeed. Spencer sips his drink and nods,
"I feel good about today." He confirms, flashing his bright white smile.
Last night, after the team had arrived, Hotch had shown everyone the list of employees from the neighboring resorts and cabins and today the team will be interviewing those employees. You're convinced the unsub has to be on that list and you intend to find out who it is. The questions have already been sorted in your mind, though you're able to adapt to anyone's personality and are prepared to get answers.
"Same teams as yesterday, we're going to divide and conquer." Hotch says, handing each team a list of names. You look down at the list he handed you and see that there are a total of fifteen employees for the small resort that you and Spencer are covering. It catches your attention that seven of the fifteen are women, and you mentally place them lower on your suspect list. This doesn't seem like a crime women usually commit, no, this seems like the work of a man as evidenced by the brute force used.
Morgan and Prentiss take off in one car, Hotch takes another, leaving you and Spencer with your own SUV. The two of you gather your needed materials, such as photos and notepads, before you head out. Spencer grabs the keys and tells you that he's going to warm up the car as you finish organizing your things, and you're grateful for that. Sitting in a cold car doesn't really appeal to you right now.
Once you're content with the items you've chosen to bring along you head out of the cabin. The bright light almost blinds you, and you squint in order to see. From the corner of your eye you see something move, and when you turn to look you see it's the landscaper from the other day, already flagging you down. Resisting the strong urge to just ignore him, you wait for him to reach you on the porch steps. He looks like he's already been hard at work today, he's covered in dirt and sweat.
"Well good mornin'. Got anything interesting going on today?" He asks, shielding his eyes from the light with his gloved hand. You shift your weight and look to the running SUV, already planning your escape route out of this conversation.
"Uh, yeah, you could say it'll be an interesting day." You reply as politely as you can. James smiles widely at your response.
"What sort of thing you have planned?" He asks and you sigh, not wanting to be part of this conversation any longer.
"I'm not at liberty to say, but I've gotta go, my partner is waiting for me." You excuse yourself from the conversation before he can get another word in. From behind you, you hear him say.
"Well alright then, I'll be around if you need anything." As you slide into the driver's side of the car and hand your bag to Spencer, you see the man heading back to the tool shed.
"That's twice now that he's singled me out." You say, keeping your eye on him for a moment longer, watching his moves. The fact that you match the victim profile is not lost on you, and you think it might be making you just slightly paranoid.
"I noticed that too. Could be that you were the first one there the last time, and the last one out this time, but it's definitely something to keep note of." Spencer says as you drive off to the tiny resort the two of you had been assigned. You know he might be right, but the man went out of his way to flag you down this morning and completely ignored everyone else. An uneasy feeling in your stomach tells you that the landscaper should be looked into more thoroughly.
When you and Spencer reach the resort you waste no time in beginning your investigations. The two of you are laser focused on the task at hand, and agree to split the list equally. Spencer volunteered himself to question the extra person. Luckily, the front desk attendant was more than helpful and secured two rooms for the interviews to be conducted.
The first four interviews go by without incident, all front desk attendants and kitchen workers who have no indication of manipulative traits and answer your questions openly. You've done this enough times to spot exactly what you're looking for, you know what gets under the skin of unsubs, especially the organized ones who think they have it all figured out.
A couple other interviewees give you good information about the victim who stayed here. They tell you how they remember seeing her with her family in the hall, and how nothing seemed out of the ordinary in the room when it was cleaned. Hotch had questioned the families last night, and cleared them from the suspects list.
By the time you reach the end of your list, you know you can safely cross every one of them off. None of them responded to the misinformation you sprinkled in the questions, things the unsub would've been known to be untrue. And none of them had any sort of reaction to you insulting the intelligence of the unsub, something that would have surely set them off in some way. But to your dismay, none of them had any clue of who could be capable of this kind of malice. Typically, there's at least one person who's able to spot something weird about someone, but not this time.
You group back up with Spencer, the two of you comparing notes in the room he used for his questioning. He had the same results as you and you both were hoping someone else on the team was more successful.
"We got all of them except for James Hilton. The others said he bounces around to each place and some days he's not even here." Spencer says, pointing out the only uncrossed name from the list.
"James Hilton. That's the landscaper." You say, barely able to recall his name from yesterday. The uneasy feeling in your stomach grows.
-----
In the afternoon, the team reconvenes in the cabin around the table to compare findings. Every other agent was able to interview everyone but James Hilton. Granted, his job requires him to go from location to location, but it seems like he's been hanging out around this cabin often. However, he was nowhere to be found when everyone came back. But maybe he went to another location to work on their flowerbeds.
"We'll need to get his statement today. Anyone up to track him down?" Usually you volunteer to go after someone like this, but something is telling you not to, and you listen to your instincts. Thankfully Morgan offers to track him down, and Prentiss joins him once more. You pick at a piece of paper on the table as your mind works, mulling over what you know about the case and the overly-friendly landscaper.
Before Morgan and Prentiss leave, Spencer informs the team about the conversations that James has dragged you into. You tell them exactly what happened, and they all agree that it seems suspicious. Hotch goes off to make some calls to JJ and Garcia, leaving you and Spencer at the table.
"Hey, are you okay?" Spencer asks, leaning forward on the table. His voice snaps you out of your trance and you cease to fiddle with the paper.
"Me? Yeah I'm fine, why?" You ask, not sure why he's concerned. He looks conflicted, opening and closing his mouth a few times before he answers.
"Well, it's just that you fit the victim profile and the conversations with the landscaper seem to be suspicious. And you keep playing with the paper which is an indication of anxiety." He says, trying his best to not profile you in front of your face.
"Spencer, I'm okay, promise. I was just thinking." You tell him, and it's the truth. While James makes you feel uneasy, you're confident that nothing will happen to you. Spencer nods and you stand from the table, wanting to inspect the cabin with finer detail and stretch your legs.
After going from room to room looking for the tiniest thing that might be relevant to the case, you find yourself staring at the same photo that caught Spencer's eye when you all first arrived. There's something about it, something about the discolored spot, that you just can't let go of. It's bothering you for some reason. Frustrated, you take it off the wall and bring it to where Spencer is in the main living area, nose in a book. He looks up from the page when he hears you coming, his eyebrows scrunching closely together.
"What are you doing?" He asks, putting the book on a side table. You place the painting on the large coffee table and put your hands on your hips.
"There's something about this that's driving me insane." You say, eyes drifting from Spencer's face to the painting. It takes Spencer all of ten seconds to analyze the painting again.
"It's the same place the bodies were found." He says and your eyes widen, taking in the scene again and realizing he's right.
"Wait. If this is the same place the bodies were found, then that, is the exact spot they were in." You say, pointing to the discolored spot. The discoloration is where the grass meets the water, the mountain in the background. Your eyes drift to the bottom corner of the painting where you see a cursive 'J' painted in white.
"Do you think the killer is the one who painted this?" Spencer asks you, and you nod.
"I'm sure of it. There's a J painted in the corner. It has to be Hilton. Can you call Garcia?" You ask, mind feeling like it's running a marathon. Spencer doesn't hesitate to get Garcia on the phone.
"Hello my beautiful boy genius, what can I do for you today?" Penelope's voice sounds throughout the room and you smirk at her entertaining phone greeting.
"Hello my beautiful computer genius, can you do me a favor?" You speak first and you can hear her laugh through the phone.
"Oh my darling anything for you." Her voice is melodic and you shake your head at her antics. You love Garcia, she's one of your closest friends inside and outside of work.
"Can you find anything on a James Hilton from the Boulder, Colorado area?" You ask her, knowing your answer is about to be served on a silver platter in just a few moments. Garcia's quick typing echoes through the phone.
"James Hilton, born and raised in Boulder. Has been working as a property manager for the last ten years at the property you all are staying at. Has one traffic record from the nineties, but other than that he's clean." She says, but you were hoping for something more incriminating.
"Anything about a wife, or a girlfriend? Maybe even a sister or mother?" You ask her, staring down a the painting.
"It looks like he was in a long term relationship with Valerie Wilson, also of Boulder. But according to her Facebook page, they are over with." She says, Spencer and you looking at each other, knowing you may have just found a potential piece of the puzzle.
"Perfect. Can you tell me what she looks like and how to contact her?" You ask and write down the details Garcia recites. After you get the needed information, Spencer hangs up and calls Hotch to inform him of what the two of you just found out. Hotch tells us that he's on his way back to the cabin after he's done with the last interview.
The painting lays in front of you two, and you take a seat on the arm of the chair Spencer is sitting in, your leg brushing up against his and your arm resting behind his head to keep yourself stable. Your eyes are glued to the discoloration, and you know there's just something about it that's more than just not being able to find the right shade.
"Is there a way to see if something has been painted over?" You ask Spencer rather than Googling it, knowing he can probably get you an answer faster. He clears his throat and nods his head.
"A few years ago it was found that Vincent Van Gogh painted over several of his works due to the cost of canvas. Experts used x-ray to see through the layers, revealing the original painting." His answer is exactly what you were looking for.
"We have to get this thing x-rayed. And someone needs to contact Valerie and ask her about her relationship with James. His tool shed should be examined as well" You jump off the chair's arm, ready to leave immediately, but having to wait for Hotch before you can proceed with anything else.
-----
Hours later, your leg is bouncing up and down, eagerly awaiting the results of the x-ray. The hospital staff had never encountered something quite like this, but you were thankful that they were cooperative. Spencer had come along with you while Hotch stayed back to get in contact with Valerie. You check your phone every ten seconds to see if you have a new message for him, but your screen is blank.
Thankfully, a few minutes later an x-ray technician comes out and beckons you to a dark room where she clips the x-ray images onto a lightboard. While the images aren't in color, you can still see exactly what you need to. The images show that where the discoloration is, there used to be a woman standing and a man on one knee. A gasp leaves your mouth, the pieces finally fitting together in your mind. Without a doubt, James is the unsub.
Spencer and you race back to the cabin and spill the findings to the rest of the team. Hotch informs you that Valerie had confirmed that James recently proposed, but she turned him down. All of the victims match her appearance. He must have been killing to fulfill some sort of revenge he felt was necessary.
The team calls each of the resorts that James is employed at only to find that he's not at any of them. While the others scramble to try and find a way to find him, your eyes land on the guestbook.
"Guys. I can call him. He told me his number is in the guestbook and we know I fit the profile. He won't be able to help himself." You say, and the others don't have any good reason as to why you shouldn't do it. Your hands shake from the adrenaline as you dial the numbers and the phone rings, your heartbeat resounding in your ears. You're so close to catching this depraved man.
"Hello?" He answers finally. You let go of a breath you weren't aware you were holding and speak up.
"Hi James, you told me to call you if I needed help with anything. And, um, I think I might have broken one of the outside lights." You quickly come up with a lie, hoping to lure him out here for the arrest. You hear him moving around on the other end and the start of an engine.
"Of course, I'll be there in just a moment, honey." He says and you hang up the phone, trying not to gag from his pet name.
It takes James all of fifteen minutes to reach the cabin. When he pulls up, the entire team is waiting for him, but you were the one with cuffs in your hands. As soon as his feet hit the ground, Hotch and Morgan were out the door ordering him to the ground. With smug satisfaction, you step over the man and secure his hands in cuffs behind his back.
As the local police show up to take him away, he's spitting every expletive in the book at you. Rage and hatred show themselves very clearly on his face, and you see who he really is. You smile sickly sweet at him as he's shoved into the back of the cop car. Another monster off the street, unable to do harm to another woman. It's like a weight gets lifted from your shoulders.
-----
After the excitement of the arrest, you come down off your adrenaline rush. The rest of the team are packing, getting ready to leave in the morning, but you can't find it within yourself to do it. You're too struck by the beauty in front of you to worry about going back home. You just don't want to part with this yet. So you find yourself out on the wraparound porch once more, the sun retreating far too quickly behind the horizon for your liking.
Despite the waning sun, the landscape looks brighter, more vibrant now that you know that the killer is in custody. Usually, the team gets only a few hours of celebration before you're saddled with paperwork and the next case. A bird flies past again, and you appreciate its freedom again. Its sweet melodies carry in the breeze and soothes your weary soul.
You love your job, you can't imagine doing anything else, but it does wear on you. Both physically and mentally. Before you had started working with the team, you never could have imagined the kind of evil lurking everywhere, even in a place as gorgeous as this. But now, it's like wherever you look, no matter how beautiful the surroundings, you can always spot something amiss. You feel weighted by the knowledge of what reality actually is.
The familiar sound of the sliding door catches your attention, and you see Spencer coming towards you, blanket in hand. A smile finds its way onto your face as he closes the distance between you, securing the blanket around your shoulders. Just like yesterday, he stands right beside you, admiring the view.
"The others are all leaving tonight, they said they want to get a headstart on the papers. But I told them we'd go back in the morning." His voice is raspy, yet soft.
"But what about the plane?" You ask, eyebrows knitting together. He shrugs his shoulders and looks down at you.
"I told them we'd fly back in the morning, already have the tickets arranged." He says, easing some of your anxiousness, but not satisfying your curiosity.
"Why?" You search for the answer on his face.
"Because I saw how much you like it here. You deserve one workless night." He says with sincerity and your heart swells at the sentiment. You fully turn towards him, soft blanket draped lightly across your shoulders. You notice that Spencer has traded his button up for a simple pullover. Something so simple has never looked so good before.
"Thank you, you really didn't have to-" He cuts you off with a smile,
"I know, but I wanted to." He admits, pink coloring his cheeks. You stare up at him in awe, not quite sure what you did to deserve his thoughtfulness. Not being able to hold back your affections, you reach out and engulf him in a hug.
"Thank you, Spencer." You reiterate into his chest, feeling his arms wrap around you. After a few fleeting, precious moments, you let go of him. Staring up into his eyes, you reach a hand up and stroke the soft skin of his cheekbone with your thumb. He doesn't flinch from your touch like he does with others, no, he leans into it as if he's savoring the feeling.
His arm that was around your waist come up to cup your cheek, and he gently brings your face towards his, pressing a tender kiss to your lips. You hold him close, a flurry of warmth spreading from your face down to your body. His other hand finds its way around your waist, securing you to his body.
You break the kiss as your chest begins burning with the need of oxygen, and he rests his forehead against yours. Your hands come up to gently grasp the sides of his face, keeping him in place so that you can admire his beauty. After minutes pass by in silence as you two appreciate each other, Spencer tilts his head up and kisses your forehead.
He turns you around so that you're facing away from him, and he grabs the blanket from around your shoulders. Seconds later, you feel him standing behind you, wrapping the soft blanket around the both of you. His chest is behind you, and he hands you the edges of the blanket so that his hands might find the soft curve of your waist. Spencer pulls you in to him so that you're leaning back on his chest.
His presence is enough to make you forget about the horrors of the world, of your job. Right now, it's just you and him, and you've never felt lighter; so unburdened. You're convinced that if he wasn't there, holding onto you with his magnetic pull, that you may just float away in the breeze like a feather.
Spencer rests his head atop of yours as the two of you relax your minds and bodies, focusing solely on each other and the scene in front of you. Your hands come down to entwine themselves with his with a soft smile on your face.
A lone tear falls from the corner of your eye as you're overcome with emotion. You cannot recall a single time in your life that you've felt this serene, where everything just feels perfect. Your soul is well nourished and full from Spencer alone. All of those cases you worked together, the stolen glances across the office, the simple acts of kindness and thoughtfulness for each other has culminated to this one precious moment in time; and you've never felt more content.
The sun eventually sets behind the horizon, the chilly breeze billowing the blanket around you both. Above you in the sky, the stars shine brightly, and you tip your head back to admire them. You can never admire their true beauty in Quantico, their shine is dulled by light pollution, but you can see them clearly here. You can see everything clearly here.
"You know, scientists estimate that there are about two hundred sextillion stars in the sky within the Milky Way." Spencer whispers in your ear as you two bask in their soft white light. You turn around in his hold and smile up at him,
"And yet none shine as brilliantly or as beautifully as you." You say, and pull him in for another soft, heartfelt kiss. As you pull away, you watch as his eyes flutter open and he smiles endearingly. You've never seen such a beautiful sight, never felt comfort as warm as him, and you know as you lean into his embrace, that you will not bear the weight of this world or this life alone.

Junhui knew you better than you’d like to admit.
Having met by pure chance during your sophomore year of college, he had refused to leave your side—or life, rather—after breaking down the walls you had built up so high to protect yourself from the uncertainty of the world.
He had sheltered you from the crumbling rubble and proved, time and time again, that he’d be there for you no matter the circumstances. He’s never done anything to make you believe otherwise and he knows that—he reminds himself of that—but it doesn’t provide much aid when he realizes you have been succumbing to the harsher side of your mind and he only just realized it. A part of him blames himself for not being more aware of the signs and being too caught up on work but he doesn’t dwell on his guilt for long. Not when he met your gaze from the kitchen island as you closed the door behind you and he saw the look of utter defeat on your face and he understood. Neither of you said anything–there was no need–and yet the silence surrounding you was so loud. You wished it was actually noisy, wished you could go unnoticed by everyone and everything but you couldn’t, because through a single glance, you had already told Jun everything.
Your bag fell to the ground with a thud as you began stepping in his direction only for him to close the distance between you two before you could take another step. He doesn’t even waste a second before pulling you towards him and letting you bury your face into his chest as his arms wrapped around you. It was only then that you finally allowed yourself to fall apart, sobs wrecking through your body as Jun brought a hand up to hold the back of your head.
“I’ve got you, love.” He cooed while stroking your hair as his free hand held you closer to his chest. “I’m here now, I’ve got you.”
He repeated the words softly, contrasting the strong—but comforting—hold he held you in. It was almost as if he was scared that you’d fall apart if he let you go even an inch but when he remembered the look of defeat painted across your face, he held you a bit tighter anyways and closed his eyes as he dropped his head into the crook of your neck.
The two of you remained like that for a while, him whispering soft reassurances against your skin while you buried your face into his shirt, your hands balled up into fists clutching the sides of it as he held you. By the time you had calmed down, a majority of your body weight was leaning against him and in a softer scenario, he would’ve laughed. But this wasn’t one of those times. Instead, he supported your weight and asked if you’d like to go to bed, when your response in the form of a silent nod came, he pressed a kiss to the top of your head and carried you in the direction of the bedroom. Before you even reached the bed however, Jun had taken you to the bathroom where he helped you wash your face—kissing at your cheeks where the salt had turned the skin red and irritated—and helped you change out of your outdoor clothes into one of his shirts.
When he finally brought you to bed, he wasted no time in wrapping the blanket around you and making sure you were comfortable, missing the way your brows slightly furrowed when you noticed he wasn’t actually under the covers with you. As he went to leave the bed, your hand had grabbed onto his wrist and was gently tugging him back. He glanced down at the sight and smiled before leaning down to press a kiss to your forehead, then lips, and saying he’s just going to turn off the lights, squeezing your hand reassuringly before you reluctantly let it go.
You watch as he first pulls the blinds shut before turning to switch off the light then finally coming back to bed as promised. He’s still adjusting the blanket to cover you both when you suddenly latch onto him, burying your face against his chest as he finally manages to fix the covers and is wrapping his own arms around you.
“I love you.” He says, though it’s mumbled as he presses a kiss on the top of your head. He repeats it again, soft but clearer this time, and he smiles as you nuzzle closer to him.
A beat passes and suddenly, “Jun?”
He hums in response, glancing down to see you looking up at him looking a little more relaxed. He bites back a small smile though it is no use when you say those four words back that has his heart fluttering every time he hears it: “I love you too.”
