Lift You Up by Mr. PoetAll
If I were the world
Would you be my Atlas
A titan not afraid to hold the barriers
Of boundaries
Between
Gritted teeth and silly giggles of
Deafening challenges
Like I wish you would try me
A little harder.
This dare is the truth
I plead not to plead the fifth
On you.
So if the world crumbles
Under your arms
I will always
Be there
To catch
The weight of burdens
That clouds cannot even hold.
For they to
Cry.
Raining pain that only space
Will fill.
Can we not
Talk about
The times
You shattered me.
Instead
Let us divulge upon
The areas of gray
Yet
Unfulfilled.
Just as the waters
Have not all been claimed
The gripping tips of my fingers
Will n'er refrain
From restraining
Myself
From saving
You.
Thank you so much.
Inspired by your last poem title that I read and fell in love with the thought of ETERNAL LOVE / ENDLESS LOVE.
You are and will always be a great poet and inspiration to me.
Thank you @scatteredthoughts2

I just published my poetry zine!
I put together this poetry zine in 3 months for my typography class. This magazine is a 25 double-sided pdf with a unique typographical design, including 11 English collab poems, 3 English poems and 21 German poems with 23 matching black & white photos. You can buy it for the low price of one small coffee on KoFi (3€) and there is a "pay what you want" function if you want to support my creative work!
Dive into the diffuse waters of poetry and search for the hidden meaning behind the words. I write about the little moments that make life worth living; not important events, not grand gestures, but everyday things. By writing about them, I give them value. The writing process is characterized by the fear of the blank sheet of paper, which has to be overcome without giving in to the urge to fill up the page. Diffuse poetry therefore describes the concept of having the courage to leave gaps and to deal with them openly. Not naming things clearly, but capturing the underlying thoughts and feelings. In contrast to concrete poetry, which is based on a clear statement and always has a message to convey. Have the courage to read between the lines and think about what you read, because words only have the meaning that we have given them. Poems are just condensed language, and always leave a certain amount of room for personal interpretation. I hope you enjoy reading between the lines!
Tag list: Never miss a poem or a short story I write! Comment + if you want to be added or - to be removed from my tag list.

Oh poet,
Search for me when lost words become lost feelings.
Oh poet,
I am right here, right where you left me in your last dealings.
Oh poet,
I urge you, USE me, a sword and a shield I'll be to fight against all beings that are against we.
Oh poet,
They do not hate you, they merely do not understand our relationship.
Oh poet,
Get angry, pressingly tag my pages with your raging lyrical graffiti — ink blotting every person that has caused us to feel this way today.
Oh poet,
You can cry on me too, trust and believe I will dry your tears up with stains of fame — hold on, someday you....will be famous.
Oh poet,
For every sweat dropped from brows, every blood dripped from ows, every letter typed/written out — you will be rememembered.
The Pen, The Pad, & The Poet by Mr. PoetAll
Pass this along to 3 poets who inspire you to remind them that they, too,are important.
Let's see how far this goes!
@alex-a-roman
@scatteredthoughts2
@jonaswpoetry
Feel free to write your own words to this too:

Sunshine gone.
Shivering in cold.
Left the truth behind.
Went away from reality.
For a warm touch.
The touch was there.
Caressed by warmth,
Started healing.
Only to realise,
It was not out of love.
Don't know what it was.
As the touch couldn't see,
It just felt.
Felt the anger,
The jealousy in me.
So it withdrew.
Abandoned,
Dying of cold again.
Searched n searched for touch
It left me to feel somebody else.
It's warmth caresses somebody else now.
Winter is my destiny,
As sunshine's gone forever.

.....your ghost don't look so well .....
by Ambrose Harte @scatteredthoughts2
It’s been many years since last we met,
and now we meet, we meet in death,
a lifetime’s o'er, a lifetime’s gone,
what’s past is past, what’s done is done.
Your ghost don’t look so very well,
I guess it’s all them years in hell,
and you don’t scare me, I have no fear,
even though, I sent you there.
Am I dreaming now? I’m not so sure!
maybe the police, are at my door,
perhaps they found, the grave I made,
where no holy words, were ever read.
I have no remorse; no tears I’ve wept,
you died too fast, that’s my one regret,
and if only I could have my way,
you would die again, every single day.
written by Ambrose Harte / Scattered Thoughts 2. read by @intothevortex
---
Once again I am thrilled to present a reading of a poem by my long-time Tumblr friend Ambrose Harte @ambroseharte & @scatteredthoughts2
Ambrose is the master of the macabre, and I adore his “dark poetry”. In the last years, I made quite a couple of readings of Ambrose’s work, but this is the first one that I posted to this blog. And I am sure it won’t be the last.
Thank you very much, my friend, for giving me the permission to do so.

Fading to black and white
My camera is failing me, And that fills me up with fright, What once was bright and colourful, Is now in black and white.
What once was clear and vivid, Gets darker every day, And my memories of sunshine, Are now clouds of mourning grey.
My focus is all misty, And the landscape's in a cloud, And what once was full of life, Now lies dead beneath a shroud.
But the camera never lies; What you see is what you get, And my photos are all fading, And I'm filled up with regret.

This Much Is True
Once more into the water
Another, new attempt to begin
What we'd started
Spark to flame, fire to smoke
Rising into infinite sky of blue
Heaven completed by you
Was a soft june evening
When I heard, first got word
That you were leaving
And I didn't know you
Were about to depart,
Had to go...
It was just a little spark,
A firefly in the night,
Yet it tore our world apart,
And extinguished all the light.
Your leaving is so bitter sweet,
Your going will be hard,
But the saddest part are the words you tweet,
The sadness of the bard.
Gone from our lives, gone from the street
Vanished like a ghost
Though I can still see you . . . on the beat
You're out of sight
I know this much is true
Now all I am . . . is lonely
All I feel . . . is longing
Left home, alone with an emptiness
Feelings frayed from foreverness
The joy and bliss of our first kiss
Gone now!
All done and dusted!
And my old heart?
All stopped and rusted.
No more kisses,
No rights or wrongs,
No more sad,
And lonesome songs.
Our love is a love,
That eternally belongs . . .

Our first collaboration in a couple years but always such easy sailing . . .
Thanks, Ambrose, for the honor!
Cheers all,
Chris

Tag, get to know me.
For @petrow; who tagged me, and for anyone else who would like to get to know me! :D
Favorite color: As a child it was navy blue, as a teenager it became sky blue. Lately however, I’m taking a liking to a dark purple that’s almost black.
Currently reading: I’m on and off with a lot of things, reading being one of them.  So “Secrets to Face-to-Face Communication” and Hunter x Hunter are a couple things I’m reading.
Last movie: This is a tough one to think about and remember but I’m pretty sure the last movie I saw was Spider-man: Far From Home.
Last series: I’m currently watching Cobra Kai, just started the third and most recent season!
Sweet, spicy or savory: Sweet, definitely sweet. Like plum sauce.
Craving: Plum sauce lol
Tea or coffee: I love tea, don’t get me wrong. But I started drinking coffee about 4 years ago and I haven’t gone back to tea.
Currently working on: A lot of things and I’m procrastinating all of it, that’s why I won’t give a specific response. When what ever I’m currently working on gets finished, you’ll know lol
Tagging @haikkun, @just-4-thought, @purgatorypoetry, @teaspirationss, @trinns, @scatteredthoughts2, @jade-fox, @writteninjoy2. You guys are welcomed but not obligated to join in, take care everyone!

👻☠🧛‍♂️💀BEWARE! 💀🧛‍♂️☠👻
TONIGHT THE DEAD APPEAR!
👻☠🧛‍♂️💀💀🧛‍♂️☠☠👻
Tonight when you go Trick or Treating,
Beware of whom you might be meeting,
For at every door that you might knock,
You could be in for a nasty shock.
On our street you best beware,
Of where you knock and who'll appear,
For down the road in Twenty-one,
Live the Living Dead ✨ who shun the sun.
There's a crazy guy in Thirty-five,
Who likes to eat his meals 😋 alive,
And across the road in Twenty-four,
You can hear their children scream and roar.
And those who call to Old Thirteen,
Will still be heard 👂 but never seen,
And if at Seven you ring the bell,
You'll be sure to get a glimpse of hell.
Number Three is all bright and gay,
Full of songs and laughter and games to play,
But if you happen to call there,
The whole damn house will disappear.
I'd keep away from Number Eight,
Where some say the devil 🤘 lies in wait,
And the old hag living in Number Nine,
Turns children's blood into sparkling wine 🍷.
There are many places on our street,
It is not safe to Trick or Treat,
And if you call to my front door,
I will keep you here forever more.

Golden tears
I claw out my skin, hoping they would scratch my eyes Crying golden tears, they scald my hands and melt my flesh. Lost with saudade, I don't go home still, for it's only a figment, like the tip of a cigarette.
If it weren’t for that fateful kiss, I could have escaped the abyss. A true heart made of gold; Devoid of emotion, under my fingers turning cold.
If I can't see again, it would be better. Rather than have a filtered fantasy, I would hear the truth from you, and feel your intent.
When the leaves turned golden, Everything led up to this event. The gods have failed what they promised to protect: A blossoming love, now doomed with neglect.
Written in collaboration with my talented fellow poet Elda @betweenthetimeandsound (her words in cursive) Tag list under the cut. Never miss a poem or a short story I write! Comment + if you want to be added or - to be removed from my tag list.

THANK YOU @scatteredthoughts2©!!!
Hello dearest friend,
I am writing from next door,
And though we are best friends,
I would love if we were more.
If I tell you how I'm feeling,
Then you might move away,
So I try my best to hide it,
Though I see you every day.
There are moments when I tingle,
When our hands do lightly touch,
I want to throw my arms around you,
And say I love you very much.
But if you pulled away from me,
If you turned and walked away,
Things could never be the same again;
It would be the saddest day.
~To you~

From @mondscheinprnzssn:
Pass the happy! When you receive this, list 5 things that make you happy and send this to 10 of the last people in your notifications. @mettaton-official @vrosko @jenntherobot @boonanawamma @theycalledmehoney @baby-gayest @augustinemirrorball @ballycotton24 @brokenglass0cean @scatteredthoughts2 - sorrrrryyyyyy if you don’t like being tagged in these things :(
Lying face up in a field, watching clouds move
Wandering aimlessly around foreign cities
Vibing with people I’ve just met
The sensation after swimming in cold water
Overcoming the shit-scared feeling just before kissing someone
N.B. Not necessarily a top 5 and there’s a whole lot more of life’s little pleasures I could list.

The “Sunday Poem”
I noticed with quite a bit of shock that my long-time Tumblr-friend, the Master of the Macabre, Ambrose Harte is missing on my list of “Sunday Poems”. I had to change that. Immediately. So, I read one of my favourite of Ambrose’s poems, the wonderfully dark and eerie “The Soul Collector". And this poem certainly won’t be the last one I’ll read.
“The Soul Collector”by Ambrose Harte
All my “Sunday Poems” found on my YouTube channel in this playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzwdqN_pqJncmI52cpbyoHYhE_1jZ1QFp
find Ambrose’s blogs here: @ambroseharte @scatteredthoughts2 and - in case you don’t already do - give him a follow (or two) while you’re at it. His poetry is amazing
Thank you, Ambrose for your “carte blanche” :)
