as much as im annoyed by the potential implications of the mhj/hybe drama i do feel like theres way too much speculation rn ... rlly doesn't sit so well with me that everyone is bashing on mhj alone (im not supporting her either though) and not bang sihyuk too. some hybe stans rlly js worship the guy and idk why . its not like he's innocent too. like those texts from him are so annoying too. abt if she's satisfied that nwjns is so popular and also abt trying to rival aespa / bp alone ...

hybe has sm power and r known for their mediaplay so i rlly do wish people would keep that in mind instead of doing their own speculation to bash on mhj . we don't know fs if she's the reason behind seunghan, youngseo, etc .... it seems so forced that everyone just collectively is making stuff up on their own theories and pissing on her. like im all for it when everything's done with but it's giving misogyny to me ughhh idk how to explain it eitherr without sounding like a mhj stan I PROMISE IM NOT TAKING HER SIDE T_T i just cant help but feel like poeple find it easier to hate and bash on women sometimes. even me scrolling x nowadays feels so annoying. literally feel so bad for illit and nwjns rn.

personally i was a teeny annoyed that illit had a similar image to nwjns w their nostalgia/coquettecore (also though just seems like cute/youthful concept is making a cb in general in kpop) but only because their songs on super real me were the exact type of songs i liked most from nwjns (super shy, hurt etc. the softer less peppy songs compared to hybe boy) so it bothered me that there was an implication that nwjns might be forced to distance itself to a more differing concept to keep some contrast btwn the two ... but ik that's not illit's fault at all (literally love the girls sm im a runext fan ^^) i feel like i can understand the upset that illit was getting a similar concept when every other grp before illit in hybe had more defined concepts seperating each other. but once again that's all hybe's doing ...... seeing the choreographers supporting mhj too makes it seem like not even the nwjns team or even all the staff were on board with the references in the choreo either...

anyways i do hope this controversy doesnt impede on either grps promos :( and i rlly hope everything gets sorted out... im srsly hoping this doesnt turn into a 5050 situtation again but with nwjns i was so upset when that happened . was curious on what your thoughts were or if u were keeping up with everything?

the way im coming back to reply to this first thing after my exams is insane, but this nwjns thing makes me so angry for all the idols under hybe. both parties j cares sm ab money that they're blindsided by the potential of ruining their idols careers, mental health and images. mhj is being stupid and hybe does seem to be doing anything to protect nwjns (as far as we know. i could be wrong).

(yawl, jsyk i obv dont have ALL the information. from what ive seen online and the articles ive read, this is what I THINK. ME. youre free to think smthn else, whether i agree or not.)

i def thing that bang hyung sik (bhs) isn't innocent either. although min heejin (mhj), in my opinion, is more in the wrong j based on the treatment of other idols, bhs seemed to provoke her, and on top of that, the company seems to blindly support ppl and give them a platform so long as they make profit for the company. ive been seeing a lot of ppl saying hes j human but youd think theres a reason why mhj got kicked from sm, yk? and you j took her back in w open arms.

hybe is v good at media play fs. its their forte, and ppl seemed to stray from the from the main problem. mhj is using nwjns as a weapon. hybe probably is doing the same thing w their other groups too, dont get me wrong. ppl seem to forget that this entire issue isnt "drama", its a legal battle ensuing between a huge corporation and its subsidiary. hybe has infinite power compared to ador. its horrible on both ends.

the thing is tho, mhj has consistently been showing the public red flags. the lyrics of 'cookie (ik she didnt write the lyrics but shes the ceo. she got them approved)', the portraits gifted to her of naked underaged girls, her obsession w olivia hussey (who happens to look like minji), her treatment of sm employees, her past work w shinee (sexualization of underaged taemin), etc. not to mention her extremely (at least in my eyes) inappropriate relationship w nwjns. the gifts shes gotten them and how she uses their emotions as a weapon. if bhs did that, everyone would be up in arms.

i dont think (for the most part) this is misogyny. i think ppl alw had a weird feeling about her. at least i did.

idt its good to speculate on ppls departure tho. youre def right ab that. the lsfm hate train (esp the coachella one) most likely has nothing to do w mhj. and i do agree that hybe copied or was at least inspired by nwjns, but idt illit copied them. illit and nwjns have a very 'pinkpantheress' sound, the uk early 00's bedroom pop genre. however, nwjns is more y2k and illit is more dream-like, ykwim? hybe was def inspired by nwjns tho. i think a more fitting one would be tws tbh. their sound is v similar to me (emphasis on to me) than illit.

dont get me wrong, it's incredibly shady and the way that a lot of staff are on her side makes me think that hybe was leeching off of the success of nwjns. it referenced all girl groups under hybe tho, lsfm and fromis, but there was def more nwjns references.

what im worried ab the most are the groups, esp nwjns. lsfm has been going thru their own struggles and rn this isnt the best for them, but theyre not extremely involved in the situation, not like nwjns and illit. illit, from what ive seen, has majority of the success and recognition from overseas. however, their success in korea'll take a huge hit. itll def take a toll on the girls mental, considering they j debuted and this happened.

nwjns is the worst off. theres a chance they might leave w mhj if ador does pull away from hybe, which isnt in the groups best interest. mhj's press conference and overall attitude is gonna affect their upcoming release fs, and their proximity to mhj herself is worrisome.

hybe doesnt seem to be doing shit to protect their artists, they're j protecting their name. theres no statement on or for illit, no statement on malicious comments for any of the groups (that i know of).

tldr: min heejin and hybe are both at fault. dont take sides of either, take the side of the idols.

sorry, im j so passionate ab this. the shit ive been seeing online has been making me mad. after getting back from the lsfm hate train too... as mad as i am at mhj, hybe GAVE her that platform. if the things they claim is true, and if the speculation is true, they alr knew from her past employment that she was shady. its their fault for allowing that.

pokemon has jaded me so much that when i go to kirby (which id easily claim is the special interest directly behind pokemon in my brain) im like automatically not expecting that much and im actually amazed in the end when it delivers like every time. man i really do need to play more video games. its hard when the only thing i have is a mac and a switch tho :(

#i think the one time i can say i was really disappointed was kirby battle royale bc it wasnt fun #thats like. it. i havent tried many of the side games that have come out like fighters 2 #but even with stuff people didnt care for in general like star allies? i cant say i was disappointed at all i have good memories w that game #dream friend wave hype was so much fun for me at the time and i love the lore that came with it #and playing as all the fan favorites is fun. its not my favorite and yeah the balancing was pretty bad but like #i sure as hell enjoy it more than the pokemon games that came around around that time #like i was honestly paranoid that rtdl dx would be a soulless cash grab with no new content and just a bit of pandering to appease ppl #but its not they honestly went all out with it and the magolor epilogue isnt devoid of content at all #or an attempt to cash in on magolor being a fan favorite it feels like a genuine tribute to him and an attempt to redeem him #sure it didnt add quite as much as super star ultra did to super star #but that feels hard to compare bc super star was in need of a remaster and had a lot of room for more content #bc it was framed as a pack of games instead of one long one so they added some more short games #while rtdl is two full length games already in one with like two subgames and the arenas #so epilogue and merry magoland are more than enough for me #i was expecting there to be like nothing and a noticeable downgrade in quality from the original and its not #see pokemon is a good interest to have. it makes me appreciate other games more.#echoed voice

Maybe snooping in your generals tent wasn't the best of ideas.

You were sent by a rival clan to find out what General Lilias attack plans were, and hopefully find out inside information about the war. You had been a troop for around a month, keeping your distance from the other troops as you knew it wouldn't end well if you got close.

Lilia had expected something off about you, you smelled of rivalry, as he put it, but he really just needed new troops. You finally decided to strike at night, Lilia as well as the others were out at the campfire conversing while you snuck into your generals tent. Since everyone was preoccupied with beer and s'mores you thought it would be the perfect time to see if he had a journal or any sort of information.

Unzipping the tent and slipping inside, you light up a small lantern and start looking around. Opening his bags, looking under his blankets, there was nothing, not even a crumb. You frantically started looking, throwing his stuff around the tent as the thought of all the time you spent waiting going down the drain set in.

"looking for this?" You hear an all too familiar voice from behind you, sending chills throughout your whole body. Your eyes widened as you realized you were caught red handed and you were at the mercy of your general. As you slowly turn your head to face him, you could feel his eyes staring at every move you made. He was holding a book, specifically his book.

"You're trying to find my battle plans so you can bring them back to that filthy clan of yours. I know you. I know everything about you. I knew the second you joined the troop you had plans on betraying us. You're filthy, a disgusting pest. I really should take care of you."

He roughly grabs you by the collar of your uniform, dragging you to the campfire as you kicked and screamed for him to let you go. Your whining quickly attracts the attention of the other troops as Baul told everyone to line up. Everyone scrambled to their feet as they were aligned in a military like fashion, awaiting further orders.

Lilia had dragged you to the front of the line as everybody had turned their attention to you. "This troop decided to betray us. She was caught red handed in my tent looking for battle plans. I don't take traitors lightly, so I will be getting back at her in the best way possible. Public humiliation." With that last statement, everyone looked severely confused, especially you, who continued to try and get out of his tight grasp.

Baul looked at Lilia as if he was insane and he very calmly tried to talk him out of doing whatever he was about to do, but to no avail. He ordered three troops front and center, two holding your arms and another one holding your right leg while Lilia held the left.

"If you want to act like a traitor than I'll give a night you'll remember for the rest of your pathetic fucking life." He says as he rips apart your shorts and throwing them in the campfire. He doesn't do the same with your panties, however, instead he ripped the bottom part so none of his troops could see you except him. As the loose ends of your panties dangle in the wind, Lilia bites his middle and ring finger nail short. This is public humiliation, not public torture(not in a sense at least).

He drags his fingers up your folds to gather your juices, "Wet. Such a fucking slut to be this wet over something as indecent as this." He furrows his eyebrows as he plunges both fingers into you at once, relishing in how tight you are. He really should've eased himself in but he convinced himself it was for the better to be rough with you. The troops had to hold your limbs tighter as Lilia began to thrust his fingers in and out of you.

You began to squirm around and cry once his thumb found itself circling your clit. Your moans and whimpers had increased in volume as he started going deeper inside you. "Stop your whining. You sound like a whore." He begins to make scissoring motions inside you, making you cry out even louder.

"Baul. Get over here." He practically shouts at the man as he quickly runs over. "Get behind her and cover her mouth. She's not allowed to speak unless spoken to. Understand?" Lilia looks at Baul with pure concentration, he nods as he makes his was behind you, wrapping his hand tightly against your mouth and effectively silencing you.

Lilia continues his movements and as he begins to feel your body shake and the tightening around his fingers, he looks up at you. Baul let's your mouth go and Lilia prompts you to speak. "Beg." He says coldly. You begin to whimper, "please..." You say in a half whisper.

"what was that? Sorry, I couldn't hear you. And if I couldn't hear you they couldn't hear you either." He nudges his head behind him, reminding you that you're in front of his entire clan. "Please General.. please let me cum..."

"Say what you did wrong." He said with a grin on his face. You grit your teeth together in frustration. "General please! I snuck into your tent and I looked for things I shouldn't have! I'm a traitor, a filthy, disgusting traitor! Please general, please let me cum!" He seemed pleased with that as he began to curl his fingers inside you at an extremely fast pace, watching as your face contorted in pleasure.

As he continued, he kissed a small part of your thigh, biting into it after. As blood began to trickle down your legs, you came on his fingers. Lilia stops his movement and licks up the blood, slowly pulling his fingers out and standing up. "Drop her." His troops do as he says and drops you on the ground, letting you lay on the ground and recover from your high.

Lilia goes back into his tent as he contemplates what he should do with you. He reorganizes everything you messed up as he remembers your juices are still on his fingers. Licking them up, his eyes roll back at how delicious he found them. Maybe keeping you around won't be such a bad idea.

something i just realized about the sages (ignoring how frustrating to use i find the sages abilities overall) when they get their enigma stone they are like wow look at how much stronger i am now!! when its really just a ... clone of them, without the parts that make them interesting- the personality, and they "give" it to you (it doesnt feel like its really yours tho bc, unlike botw, its not intergrated into your moveset- which could have been solved by just adding them to another ability wheel- so it doesnt even feel like they are really yours) but ok i can see why its stronger even if i find it boring to just duplicate the character isntead of actually making their ability be more-

but then at the very end, they join you in the battle and .. dont even make use of it? what where the engima stones even for then? i guess you could bend over backwards and say well its bc their powers cant reach you all the way down there so they have to physical join you- BUT .. when they are right next to you .. shouldnt the connection to them be back anyway? so their clones should return shouldnt they? or is the entire arena just so surpressive of that power that it wouldnt work either way? then again ... what was its use then to get them to have those stones? like how ultra hand is supposedly the focus of the game but doesnt matter to the narrative at all?

(can you unsummon them when they are there?? i havent tried it but i dont think so ..)

like obviously it would be wayy too chaotic if all sages where there twice, especially together with all the ganondorf clones too- but it kinda .. once again... makes it feel meaningless that you even got them the stones? sure they only get to you when you do it but its really just again another check box with no substance, isnt it?

(... actually .. did anyone actually need the stones? aside from ganondorf getting that huge powerup somehow- like even the original sages and sonia and stuff, are you telling me she couldnt rewind ..................................... a tea cup, on her own? or i guess the only time sonia does anythign with her stone is when she gives its power to raurus laserbeam attack he never does again ... and the other sages arent shown to gain anything from it either?? are they?? what even would minerus ability have been bc she wasnt a -utterly useless- mech back then ... the shield she does doesnt seem unique to her either bc rauru literally does it too after sonia gets falcon-punched to death to block ganondorfs .. goo beam .... i mean i guess it doesnt matter anyway bc all we see them actually do is .. stand around and talk, sometimes "hurt" (dirty) sometimes not ... so whatever i guess?)

move with love, not hate.

you cannot hate the person you are now to become the person you want to be.

often times we are our worst critics, we criticise everything about ourselves from the way we talk, walk and move around in the world.

we do this because we think we are not up to par with our peers and the people around us or what social media thinks society should behave like. i know personally for me i would set out a certain high standard for myself and whenever i failed to reach that standard i would just be absolutely cruel to myself.

this brought me nothing i wasn’t doing well mentally and i wasn’t doing well physically because i had battered myself with cruel words. hating myself was one of the worst things i ever done to myself. i ended up treating myself like someone who didn’t deserve love, respect and warmth when in fact i did deserve all those things (and still do).

and its not like i didn’t try to be happy & love myself, i tried many times. i looked deeply at myself in the mirrors trying to force myself. but thats the thing, i was forcing myself. would someone who truly loves themselves force it? no, self-love flows through effortlessly, without trying its a beautiful thing that doesn’t need to be forced but expressed naturally.

it was like a battle in my mind, i was fighting with myself. i never accepted, i never let go i was holding tightly to my own self-hatred and even more so i was hating myself for not getting better. for not thriving like others, i think i was so upset and hurt that i just wanted to continue fighting with myself. it was the only response i knew in stressful situations, it was like a reflex response.

it wasn’t until i made the decision to continue, despite it all where things started to look up for me. no i didn’t go on a rampage of self-love affirmations but instead i accepted myself as i am.

i accepted the things i was pushing down and hiding away from. i accepted that im not like other people and that everyone including me is on different journeys in their lives. theres no point in me comparing.

i accepted my messy and “unpolished” self. i accepted that i have crazy emotions that can override my rational self. i cant be horrible to myself over stuff like that i can only grow and be kinder.

YES YOU ARE A HUMAN, YES YOU WILL MAKE MISTAKES. AND YOU ARE BOUND TO MAKE MORE MISTAKES. YES YOU HAVE FAILED. MANY, MANY TIMES. BUT THAT STILL ISNT A VALID REASON TO GIVE UP ON LIFE.

with this new acceptance i was finally able to let go with the old self. it didnt bring me down, i wasn’t holding onto it. it felt like a weight being lifted off my shoulders, it felt like i can finally be free. that im no longer in the shackles of my past, i released it and with that release came a new person evolving.

once i made this decision, i treaded lightly with myself. when things went wrong i wouldn’t immediately jump to dispute hate onto myself. when i implanted love in my routine i saw myself changing therefore the world around me was changing.

this new-founded acceptance allowed me to bring in pockets of love, i loved how i still had a long journey ahead of me. i loved how i still have so much time to grow. i loved how i can still have setbacks in my life but get up every morning and try again. i loved how the option of starting again and finding myself was always available.

hate brings nothing good, love brings all. love brings new meanings, new memories, new soul adventures, new ways to find things that you really love. new people. its a beautiful thing that we can all experience deeply.

YES IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT FEELS LIKE JASON IS GONNA DIE AGAIN

but fr the way bruce said "why shouldnt i kill you!" in battle lines toward jason, then ripped him off his bike in catwoman 57 (with jason stressing heavily that it could have killed him) and now bruce brainwashing jason (batman 138) into literally being afraid whenever his heart rate rises or he feels adrenaline - which isnt just vigilante stuff, you feel adrenaline when you get excited or fall in love o feel angry. also constantly being afraid causes high blood pressure, increased chances for a stroke or heart attack ect,,, honestly there is SOOO much to suggest bruce is gonna kill jason, or at least have some part in it, im terrified

Okay so firstly spoilers for batman 138 bc honestly only started thinking about this when I saw the previews / leaks from the newest issue but yeah we see later on in that issue Jason is now constantly afraid so obviously the toxin Bruce spiked him with is just working constantly and it's negatively impacting his mental state I also started thinking about this bc another character asks Jason if he'd be interested in immortality which to me is a bit of a red flag that someone's gonna die but also could just be bc vandal is around either way something is going to happen to Jason by the end and I cant say I have enough faith in zdarsky at this point that it's gonna be good

Which is shocking, because compared to how you use them so loosely, he figured he'd be able to do the same thing

To be fair, he doesn't have an opinion on anyone

He does find you to be a useful asset to the team, however

But you aren't the best to take on stealth missions

He finds himself being shocked by your rather...loud personality quite often

He gets so used to the quiet of his room, to hear your loud "GOOD MORNING!!" as he steps out of the room is very alarming

Nothing he can't handle, though

He enjoys that you can always be happy, no matter what

It's a trait most people can only wish to posses

And at the end of the day, when hes going to choose his team for bigger missions

i feel like wave 2 of the dlc may be relating to 8's memories? more tin foil hat theory stuff under the cut. (also full disclosure.. im an agents fan and im assuming this is agent 8 even though it really could be some random octoling LULZ)

SO we see agent 8 in a white, dead coral version of inkopolis square.. the battle tower looks to be under construction almost? maybe thats how its always looked but to me it looks MUCH higher and less finished?

and here we see pearl in the same area as seen by the background. important to note here is that she's smiling, if the square was really destroyed like that i dont think she would seem so happy. she isnt one to be super calm when it pertains to the destruction of the square as we see at the end of octo expansion with her reactions to failing to defeat commander tartar.

this makes me think she isnt ACTUALLY there with 8, and its just some kind of reflection of their memories.

in this image we see them clutching their head VERY SIMILARLY to how they do at the start of octo expansion after losing their memory, further connecting the dlc to agent 8's memories.

this part is more speculation but the glaring light effects (not the shine, the box-looking things) kind of looks like the lights that come out from the windows of a train? and looking to the background it almost looks like pillars you would find in a subway? its not super clear but to me this further relates to their memories of the deepsea metro.

in this image we see several versions of agent 8.. to me this seems like it means theyre struggling to find identity due to their amnesia? the one near the front is colored with marinas color pallet, possibly just due to the lighting but it is important to note that 8's hair is generally warm colored in all of the other art for the dlc; maybe hinting at looking to marina and trying to be like her?

further implying the search for identity.. we have agent 8 staring at their reflection, we cant fully see their expression, but judging from the mouth they look confused? maybe due to their memory loss they dont remember who they are?

taken less literally it could just be a more abstract sense of searching for themself and the artwork is just meant to represent that search without actually being them not recognizing their reflection.

here we see pearl and marina(?) the image is very blurry and its unclear if that is actually marina due to her face being partially obscured but im going to assume it is because shes with pearl. pearl looks.. kind of young in this? maybe not a child but definitely younger than she appears in game. its not super clear what shes holding but based on her expression i would say its probably a camera/phone?

marinas full expression isnt totally shown but it looks like shes smiling and from the way shes holding herself it seems like shes laughing? again its not super clear but it looks like shes holding a splattershot type weapon.

the background is a little too blurry to make out anything super confidently but it SORT OF looks like the battle tower in the background, it might just be marinas hair since there isnt a super defined edge.

here we see marina clearly, she is looking off screen and looks worried and like she is in the middle of saying something? because of the glitchy effects surrounding her it makes me think she might also be a part of 8's memories.

you can see the same blocky train lighting from before, but lower this time.

i originally thought the object closest to the camera might be the tartar goop stuff, but looking closer it doesnt really make sense for there to be holes in it. the farther object im pretty sure is a skull of some sort?

walking away i initially thought this was marina, but looking closer at the shoes they look a lot more like the ones agent 8 was wearing in the overworld shot of the square.

its very difficult to see whats going on in this one, but judging from the tentacles id say its most likely an octarian, probably an octoling. cant say much else besides that other than it looks like theres wires plugged into the top of their head? maybe relating to how octolings are born or created like how at the start of octo expansion in the character creator agent 8 floats around in green goo.

last thing i have any kind of analysis on is this image where we see 8 next to an elevator, looking towards the end of the hallway either at something off screen or at the growing foliage inside the building.

most likely id say this takes place inside the memory world thing? because of the white colors and plants growing indoors.

my main problem with this theory is, how would 8 get inside a memory world? i know there was the mem cakes and all that but unless its some sort of metaphor (which i dont think splatoon would go for something that complex) theres really no feasible way for them to actually be inside their memories? maybe some kind of world that morphs to the thoughts and memories of individuals? its too early to tell.

Chongyun was exploring near Qingce village for supernatural stuff as usual

And U were just vibin, chillin near Qingce village livin ur best Creator god cottagecore life

And ur like planting a new seedbed, Jueyun Chilis :) (bc jfc however bad it was to collect them in game, its 10x worse in person, ur tired of running around town getting chilis, Qingce isnt exactly flat 💀)

And every seed u put in the dirt ur like "boop!"

And Chongyun comes by, bc u at edge of town, and the villagers mentioned a strange new traveler settling here

He immediately feels a wave of that same feeling he used to feel when the Creator god had their eyes on him, or would assist him in battles

So poor boy almost overheats trying to climb up the hill to ur house

And is like "??...Creator??"

Then kinda stops bc ur just like-

And then u finish planting seeds, get the watering can,,

even though quality time sometimes get scarce because class A is hectic

its called quality time not quantity time

Its about how you spend your time together, not always how much

although I will say you make as much time for each other as possible

you guys train, eat, nap, jog, watch tv/videos together

And of course make lots and lots of jokes

you two have so many inside jokes class A doesn’t understand 😂

he does you lots of favors for acts of service

you really don’t even have to tell him!

its the little stuff like, cleaning up a mess for you, getting your jacket when he knows your going out, reminding you about tests and to study!

but izuku is really busy and spends a lot of energy in the day

As we saw in some episodes he goes to sleep as soon as he makes it in his room

but he does his best!

Your butterfly Howdy- so so so obsessed!! please tell me you thoughts I love him!! The thought of him simply falling from his chrysalis in a big sopping mess is so real™ , true butterfly moment

i would be Delighted to Talk. i always am. i have many thoughts always about everything. especially This. gonna add a cut so there's not a wall of text on my blog

okay so 1) i don't think he'd give any warning that he's gonna turn into a chrysalis. probably because he wouldn't realize it's happening bc like... those good ol caterpillar instincts took over <3 also it probably made him very very eepy

in his perspective, he took a nap and woke up spontaneously Different. everybody else had to deal with a solid few weeks of him being a chrysalis. and it's not like he was resting inside it - there is soooo much going on in metamorphosis, caterpillars/butterflies Do Not Rest At All

so when he emerges from the chrysalis (as a pathetic wet rag of a man <3) he's just... so out of it. his memory is a little fucky for a bit, he's weak, & he's exhausted to the point where the only time he's awake is to eat (gotta get that energy back!). that's it. he's dead asleep, wakes up, demolishes an entire bowl of fruit, and passes back out. can't even speak coherently.

he slowly gains lucidity until he's functional. he has a small period of time where he's kind of delirious/loopy from an overdose on Sleep, and it's hell on earth for everyone to deal with. i like to think that his main Watchers during this time are Poppy and Barnaby, both bc they're both big enough to wrangle him and bc of obvious reasons. (Poppy is a worrier and Barnaby is in love with Howdy)

when Howdy's loopyness wears off, he's still very tired and a bit spacey, but hey! he reopens the bodega! not that he needs to, since everyone was getting stuff from it anyway. he has a lot of IOU's in the never-used cash register <3 and lots of sweet notes. everyone missed him <3

so for a while when he's functional-but-Exhausted, he's a bit of a grouch. he simply does not have the energy to deal with Shenanigans and Excitement. if anyone walks into the bodega he's basically like "get your shit and get out, thank you, bye". he still sometimes nods off at the counter. eepy eepy bug.

and i don't think he'd really like his new appearance at first? i get the vibes that he Didn't want to pupate OH MY GOD THAT'S THE WORD! I'VE BEEN USING CHRYSALIZE WHICH ISNT EVEN A WORD BC I FORGOT 'PUPATE'. FUCK!, so he was subconsciously putting it off and was able to live for such a long time as a caterpillar.

but oopsie! he lost the battle of biological will! now he's got So Much Fluff and wings and claws and longer antennae and like... he's blue now. that would probably be at least a little unsettling, especially since he didn't realize it was going to happen. also he has to tailor all of his clothes to fit the wings and the Fluff.

plus, i imagine butterfly/moth wings are a Bitch to deal with. they don't fold like bird or bat wings, and they're kinda delicate - though due to Howdy's size, i'm sure they're more durable than a normal butterfly's - so i bet they are Constantly In The Way. (Barnaby probably makes a joke about how "Eddie's supposed to be the clumsy one" after Howdy knocks over a display with his wings for the umpteenth time. cue Barnaby getting kicked out of the store)

it takes a while for Howdy to get them under Control. they'd probably give away ever emotion he has. angry/frustrated? fluttering like crazy. thinking happy/fluffy thoughts or daydreaming? slow opening-closing. sad/pensive? droopy wing cape. stressed/high-strung? closed tight like a book. etc.

(similarly, his antennae are Very expressive! this is not something he can control unless he focuses extra hard. within a week Frank has memorized what each curl and twitch means)

but once Howdy has reconciled with his new appearance & has wrangled his wings, He Is So Fruity And Even More Eccentric. he fell outta that chrysalis and went "im gay now! 🧚‍♂️💅" kidding Kidding. kind of.

idk why, just... i feel like he gets a confidence boost. he realizes hes a Pretty Boy™️. he's like "this is what it must feel like for Eddie when he does drag". he's got that extra fruity Flair yk yk.

and sure, flowers are a little more distracting to Howdy than they used to be, prefers fruit over greenery, and he can't resist taking a short break every day to sun his wings, but other than that things are mostly normal. he's just extra pretty now.

Can I have a Wrecker X gn!reader on those trying times? I think it would be funny to see Wrecker TRYING to keep his relationship with his s/o a secret from his brothers. But it's Wrecker, they noticed right away.

Maybe because he suddenly doesn't have a problem going to the medic bay to treat his wounds. He starts to look for excuses to leave the ship or go alone to get the supplies. And the rest of the batch starts to get suspicious like...

Wrecker is trying to keep his armor clean now. HE looks more clean. Every time he goes to the medic bay he comes back with a stupid smile. They see him looking at the little plushies on the stores they pass by. He evens starts to ask Teach about flowers and wich ones are dangerous to humans (of course he gets bored midway).

The last straw is when one day they him trying to sneak back in the havoc with something behind his back. When they manage to get it from him they see its a packed lunch, it's so neat and sweet and they know Wrecker isn't the one who made it. So... was it?

Clone Force 99 shared countless missions and adventures together, known for their high success rate but also reckless tactics. Each clone abiding with their own skills, making them unique.

Wrecker, the big guy. He's the boisterous and carefree member of the team, known for his extreme strength and eagerness for battle or mission. However, something had changed for him. Instead of sleeping, eating or chatting, he seemed oddly preoccupied.

Lately, he's been finding excuses to leave the shuttle alone to head to the medbay more frequently.

"Wrecker, this is the 8th time you've had an 'injury' to deal with." Hunter's confused voice spoke. Wrecker once again blabbed an excuse for him to leave so abruptly.

"Yeah well- I get hurt a lot! Just visiting the place s'all." His excited tone of voice came through, doing his best to mask it with 'ows' or 'ouch'. You know, to fool his brothers.

Crosshair's eyebrow raised up, looking through his top eyelashes at his brother. Wrecker left hastily as if this visit to the medbay was an emergency. The group exchanged puzzled glances as they observed their brother's peculiar behavior.

Wrecker couldn't help but feel a strange flutter of anticipation in his chest as he happily skipped down the halls of the med wing. He had a secret, one that he had been keeping from the rest of the squad. He was head over heels and he couldn't wait to see you again.

He was eager to steal a few precious moments with you, his special someone.

"Hey beautiful." Wrecker's voice was quick to fill the quiet space of the medbay, watching as you tidied equipment. He stared for a bit before walking over to peer over your shoulder. He loved watching you work. He loved watching you do anything, really.

"Got another 'injury' for me?" You chuckled, looking up at his towering figure. Wrecker gave a cheeky grin, his playful nature shining through.

"Oh absolutely." The two of you laughed and chatted, finding solace in each other's company amidst the quiet hum of medical equipment.

Wrecker's gaze softened as he watched you talk about your day, captivated by your every word. You exchanged playful banter and shared tender moments, opening up to one another. He marveled at the shimmer in your eyes, even if it was just the reflection of the white medical lights.

He found himself wrapping his bulky arms around your waist, giving you a back hug as he gently rocked side to side whilst you fixed equipment. He followed you around like a puppy, craving attention.

He always made you smile, always made you laugh.

After a while, you had to go back to your shift to tend to other units of the GAR. As much as Wrecker despised leaving you, he'd make sure to come back again.

Skipping back to the Marauder, he couldn't get rid of the giddy smile on his face.

"How's your injury?" Echo said, his scomp whirring under the haul of the Marauder.

Wrecker grinned, "Oh she- it! Went well." Uh oh, a slip up. Echo was quick to sus out Wrecker's mistake, brushing it off since it could really just be a mistake. It's Wrecker after all.

The first sign that something was amiss was Wrecker's sudden interest in keeping his armour clean. Gone were the smudges of dirt and battle scars that were once his signature. Now, he regularly wiped down his armor, striving to maintain a pristine appearance after every mission.

His brothers couldn't help but raise their eyebrows at this newfound obsession with cleanliness.

His bunk, full of food scraps and his blacks hung up on the drying rack above his sheets were no longer. The burn marks and dents, fixed in a jiffy. He even repainted the prominent red stripes across his armour, the CF99 skull, and his artistic helmet.

With a grin, he proudly scrubbed down the filth that once covered his armour.

Once again, Wrecker pops in to visit the medbay with a small smile on his face. Then he would return to the barracks with a foolish grin. Ear to ear smile with teeth which didn't go unnoticed by his sharp-eyed brother, Crosshair - as well as the others.

Normally Wrecker would brush off minor injuries, refusing treatment since 'he was going to get hurt again anyway'. Now he was willingly seeking medical attention without complaint only because he got to see your beautiful face.

It was clear that something was lingering in the air and his brothers were determined to find out what.

"Tech, just wondering somethin'." Wrecker asked his intelligent brother.

"What is it?"

Wrecker cleared his throat, trying to sound nonchalant, "You know flowers, right? What one of those are dangerous or poisonous to people? What's the best one to keep as a house... flower?" He tried his best to cover up his eagerness about flowers.

"Well there are the simple ones. Roses, for instance, are generally safe. Their beauty lies in their petals, and they pose no direct threat. Sunflowers, with their large, cheerful heads, are harmless as well. Delicate daisies, tulips..."

Tech's voice faded out. Wrecker daydreamed, getting bored about his brothers rant. He only considered roses since those reminded them of you. He loved your rosy blush and the pink stud earrings you wore.

He imagined how your reaction to a gift of flowers would be or your reaction a small plushie he saw in the markets on a supply run. A small blush creeping onto his cheeks.

"...but it's crucial to approach unfamiliar flowers with caution, as many contain varying levels of toxicity." Tech finished his small explanation on flowers, finding Wrecker not paying an ounce of attention. He also brushed this off, used to the boredom. But he didn't brush off the suspicion of the sudden interest in flowers.

Wrecker wouldn't even consider smelling a flower in the first place.

Because it was only Tech and himself in the barracks - everyone else went on the supply run - he decided to give you another visit. Whilst Tech was distracted, the big guy snuck off to the medical wing in hopes to see your angel face once again.

Wrecker was off to the medical wing, delighted to see you. The rest of the Batch returned with food, new blacks, and cleaning equipment. Time to address the elephant that wasn't in the room anymore.

"Tech, where's Wrecker?" Echo asked his brother, who was slouched over his desk, tinkering.

He looked up, "Huh? Oh he was just-" Tech paused as he looked around, no Wrecker in sight, "-here."

"He keeps disappearing." Hunter shook his head, placing the new supplies on the couch.

As days turned into weeks, the clues continued to pile up. Wrecker's disappearance slowly began to add up, only disappearing when it was your shift in the medical wing and when it wasn't, it would be during the Batches lunch break.

The final straw came one day when Wrecker tried to sneak back into the barracks with something hidden behind his back. The rest of the team quickly cornered him, demanding to know what he was hiding.

With a sheepish smile, Wrecker reluctantly revealed a neatly packed lunch.

The Batch exchanged stunned looks. It was a small, pale box full of food you wouldn't find in the mess hall. The food was neatly stacked and separated into the compartments.

Wrecker was known for his appetite and love for all things hearty and messy. There was no way he had made such a thoughtful and delicate meal. Crosshair was quick to reach into the box, grabbing a small note which Wrecker attempted to retrieve.

'hey wrecker! have a lovely day biggie, enjoy the food my foodie xx'

Read the note. The realization hit them like a blaster bolt—someone else had prepared that lunch for him. The question remained: who?

Unable to contain their curiosity any longer, the batch confronted Wrecker about this mystery.

Wrecker hesitated for a moment before finally admitting the truth. He had been seeing someone, someone special who had captured his heart. You. The angel who swept him off his feet.

The news was met with a mixture of surprise, amusement, and relief. Their suspicions had been confirmed, "I knew it!" Hunter said.

"No, you didn't." Crosshair put a toothpick into his mouth.

They felt genuinely happy for their brother. Wrecker's infectious grin spread across his face, relieved none of them freaked. He was still able to see you, maybe even come introduce his brothers to you.

With the truth out in the open, the Batch embraced Wrecker's special someone with open arms. They teased him mercilessly, each offering their own unique brand of humor and advice. Wrecker beamed from ear to ear, grateful for the support.

As time passed, you would eventually become an important part of the batches lives. The clone siblings grew to appreciate the joy and warmth that you brought to their tight-knit family.

You boasted about bagging such a hearty guy like Wrecker.

After all, what's there not to brag about?

the more i think about your mom lucy hc, the more i really adore it. if you don't mind me asking questions about it, what's her general dynamic with kieran & carmine? is she a single mom? how does dahlia fit into the picture?

But! Hi hello welcome to Oh lord this family needs therapy and counselling . ! Honestly I have been going into everything with the idea of her being a single mom w/ them! It;s very much a situation of like.... Parent that works away from home constantly, so the relationship is just unfortunately naturally more strained kinda thing .

With all this i go with like.... The idea that they were very much born in Hoenn and lived there with Lucy until Carmine was approximately 9 or so, and Kieran was 7 [I do like to imagine they're 16 and 14 respectively as of the dlcs]. Work being so remote and stuff plus worrying about their education and all just led to living with their grandparents in Kitakami being the best decision for their development as yknow, People. I like to imagine Lucy visits periodically throughout the year and such to check in :> just takes a bit of coordinating. Also shes absolutely the reason they're able to go to blueberry for highschool via both making sure they Can go there financially and putting a word in to a battle focused school of them being kids of a facility head :p even if realistically Lucy isnt the strongest head by any means lol . it's kinda like if an E4 member put a good word in situation. And we can see with Lacey and Drayton both going there... gestures. I wouldnt be surprised if more children of different league figures go to it or schools LIKE it. But thats besides the point Lucy absolutely like, struggles with her emotions and such. Even from the small bits of dialogue we have from her? Maybe its just my autistic ass reading too much into it LMAO but . gestures .

i feel like if this werent a kids game she'd just tell you to fuck off to your face here

Carmine might be the easiest to point a finger to as being like her mom but i genuinely think that it;s actually Kieran who ended up the most Like her, yknow it;s incredibly obvious to point a finger at Kieran during indigo disk and how he talks as being her fault a little bit :p anyways thats just me vaguely mumbling abt that. AS FOR. DYNAMICS. Kieran isnt as close to his mom as Carmine is just due to everything with living with their grandparents. Theres also absolutely like.... Very much a gap because he stopped seeing her as much when he was younger, while Carmine was only a year off of being like. Legally start being a pokemon trainer age. And its just Awkward, relation wise, just because of how little she actually sees them through the years, especially when the discussion would slowly shift to more "How are your studies?" "How are you doing in school?" "How is your pokemon training going?" once they start going to blueberry. Which i don't think was ment to come off as uncaring for them and only focusing on training as it did from Lucy's end, but I dont really think she knew what else to ask and all, because she stopped being able to really pick up on their interests as much as they got older. Plus thats just kinda How she talks... With the importance on strength and luck n all that. Then with all this I imagine she like. Probably only called once maybe twice between the dlc plots n all? And once again with just mainly the training questions it was just a sour spot. I wouldn't doubt Kieran would also struggle with not wanting to be in a shadow/the nepo baby accusations /j that I fully think if Drayton knows about he'd tease him and Carmine about. So like. All that with the instilled importance of ones strength :sob: Lucy you were not helping the Kieran situation. Hell I don't really think she would of even known about anything going down between Kitakami to Blueberry with Kieran just because neither of them wanted to tell her at all? Because again just that Awkward connection between them, just the permanent fog on all communication that feels like someone said something wrong at all times and it got too awkward to finish. IDK I think im waffling on I don't know how to formulate my thoughts the best LMFAO BUT I THINK... DYNAMICS WOULD CHANGE POST-MOCHI MAYHEM ESP. Bc i KNOW she'd find out after carmine and kieran nearly fucking DIE in the underdepths and everything hits her in the back of her head at once that she needs to repair what she can w/ them because she almost lost them. Probably means taking an extended leave from working at the Pike so she doesn't have to worry about scheduling to see them in person for only a short period of time. Especially if the times line up for them having any extended break from school . It's never going to be perfect, far from it, with their dynamics and all but. gestures. Briar needs to sleep with one eye open for a bit at least. in short

AS FOR. DAHLIA im in turbo hell because I can not see? the siblings ending up like they did if she was also around? Shes such a force of positivity as a person im just. blinks a bit. Im in hell bc i adore the ship as my big rarepair ill die on a hill for but nobody expected the kitakami siblings especially not me so . i think if they ever do get together it'd be somewhere nearer to scarvio era which just. yeah. see image below

hi! love your art :) i just wanted to ask if you have any resources you’d recommend for WWI uniform/gear references for art purposes? i’ve been struggling to find good refs (especially for officers/anything beyond just the basic infantry uniforms) so i thought i’d ask what you tend to use! thanks & have a great day!

hello hey hi!!! ty for the message i love talking about uniforms and spend way too many hours of the day looking for reference of them

so i talked a bit about this before in this post! i stand by a lot of what was said there aka pinterest, google searching/scouring, and that book i linked........ these are all good for officers too! looking for officer ref is often very similar to infantry stuff, tho there may just be less of it depending on what specifically you're looking for. if you are looking for very specific references and want to get insane about it i can talk about that too.... tho i would like to say i dont have like one specific website to link bc i use so many different ones only like once or twice

if you're willing to spend money i'd recommend looking for books on the subject- there is always one strange book from like 1970 about the helmets of ww1 on ebay or something. the nice thing about that is they will typically name the different parts of a uniform, which allows you to google that specific thing to get a closer look. learning about the makeup of a uniform/everything's specific use helps when its time to draw them. ofc this isnt a super sustainable option but investing in a good encyclopedia once has saved me so much time. that guide to ww1 has been well loved

if youre not looking to spend money there are still a lot of options. stuff i like in no particular order:

reenactment pictures- action shots, higher quality pictures than something from 1918. you can find whole galleries of people's reenactment battles (?? is that what theyre called??) if you do a little clicking around.

stock photo websites- be really careful here bc you dont want to get into trouble with usage rights. i only rly use these if im desperate and then very sparingly and piecemeal bc i dont want to get in trouble lol

websites where they sell reproduction/reenactment uniforms- here is an example. reproduction stuff is great bc u can usually find every little bit of the uniform being sold somewhere by someone. ebay has also been surprisingly helpful.

& the thing i would like to stress the most is that i rly dig for references. i literally have 21 tabs open with different searches for super specific things on my phone at this very moment. i use google image search extensively and scroll through literally so many jpegs, pngs, pdfs, webps, etc etc etc. the unfortunate truth is that the more specific you get the harder it is to find stuff. i recently drew a ussr female fighter pilot and had to get ref for her uniform from about 5 different sources (and that was one drawing!!!!!) sometimes i find a reference for the exact thing i need on a website that has nothing else of use to me. the best advice i have here is just keep scouring and clicking and you will eventually find something. i wish this was more helpful but once you know what you are looking for you can search for that thing specifically and that's a big help
