Summary:
His comm crackles to life. “RR’s suit is in a pile on the floor,” Jason says, voice grim. “But no sign of him. Something bad must’ve happened if he ditched it all.”
“I wouldn’t say it’s bad, per se,” Dick replies, gazing down at the kid nestled against his chest. Now that he’s looking properly, he can see hints of his little brother in those small features. “But at least I can confidently say that he’s not dead.”
Or:
Tim gets de-aged to four. Dick takes care of him.

My WIP List
(Last updated: January 2, 2024)
Most of these are still very much in the notes phase.
DC Comics
Jonathan Samuel Kent & Damian Wayne - Don't Try This at Home, Kids!
Jon has recently gained his Kryptonian invulnerability. Damian, being Damian, decides to test the limits of Jon's new superpower. Jon's enthusiastic at first, but he eventually decides he's done testing. Damian disagrees, and so Looney Tunes-esque shenanigans ensue. Pure crack, maybe a pinch of angst. Takes place in the continuity established by "Battle of the Super Sons".
Jason Todd & Clark Kent - 101 Ways to Get Revenge on Superman
When Jason discovers that Superman stopped Bruce from killing the Joker after his death, the Red Hood decides he has a new target for his vendetta.
Damian Wayne, Mar’i Grayson, & Jake Grayson - A Little Ways Along the Family Tree
Whilst fighting a villain, Damian is catapulted into the future, where he teams up with Dick’s kids.
Tim Drake - A Lonely Place of Living
In this version of events, Tim made a mystical deal, that Batman would never lose another Robin.
Tim Drake & BatKids - A Very Common Sibling Game
Tim wages psychological warfare on his siblings. For fun, of course.
Tim Drake & Dick Grayson - The Cola Caper
The United States government has placed an embargo on the island of Santa Prisca, along with a recall of all recent Santa Priscan commercial imports. Tim and Dick are more concerned that the embargo means no more Zesti Cola for them. They decide they have no choice but to infiltrate Santa Prisca and the headquarters of the Zesti Cola Company to acquire the Zesti Cola secret recipe.
Tim Drake / Kon-El - Corporate With a Side of Catcalling
Conner Luthor has a chance encounter with the dashing Robin Hood-esque criminal known as Stray. Then it turns into a regular thing.
Miguel Montez, Harper Row, Tim Drake, & Cullen Row - Dial R
Harper invites Miguel to Gotham, where the H Dial is stolen. They enlist Robin’s aid to track it down.
Tim Drake / Kon-El - Fake it For the Win
TIm and Kon pretend to be newlyweds to compete on a game show during their cruise. When they win, they have to deal with the consequences.
Tim Drake / Cullen Row - He’s a Bombshell, I’m Your Wingwoman
TimCullen get-together set in the DC Bombshells continuity.
Khaji Da, Jaime Reyes, Paco, & Brenda - Khaji Da Goes to School
After Jaime pulls an all-nighter, Khaji Da agrees to pilot his body around for the day while his mind rests.
Tim Drake & Kon-El - Messing With the “S”
Fed up with Kon’s refusal to be a team player as part of Young Justice, Tim decides to mess with Superboy in his civilian persona.
Mia Dearden - Mia Dearden, Missing In Action
During a fight with a supervillain, Mia gets teleported to the middle of nowhere and has to make her way back to civilization.
Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne, & Dick Grayson - Recipe for Guardianship
Still in the hospital, Alfred walks Battinson through how to feed the small child he’s somehow acquired.
Damian Wayne, Bat-Cow, & Others - So You’re Cow’s Been Turned Into a Vampire
Bat-Cow gets turned into a vampire.
Tim Drake, Cassie Sandsmark, Aiden Kent, Oscar Allen, & N.O.W.H.E.R.E. - Two for the Price of Them
Tim’s 100th cloning attempt succeeds, but his efforts are interrupted by a supervillain attack. Now he’s on the run with two baby metahumans.
Tim Drake / Kon-El - Waltzing In the Rain
Tim and Kon go on a date above the clouds.
Billy Batson & Others - A Word in the Rain
Billy keeps pranking people by making them think he’s been vaporized by lightning.
Original Male Character, Original Characters, Garfield Lynns, Victor Fries, Stephanie Brown, & Tim Drake - Fly High, Little Firefly
Fusing The Batman (2004) with the main continuity. Back during Dick’s days as Robin, Garfield Lynns, AKA Firefly, worked with Dr. Jane Blazedale, a partnership that ended with Lynns becoming Phosphorus and being remanded to Arkham Asylum. To the knowledge of neither Lynns nor the Bat, however, the partnership between Lynns and Dr. Blazedale also resulted in an unexpected pregnancy. Dr. Blazedale named the boy Benjamin, Benji for short. She raised Benji in the East End, near Park Row, up until she was arrested and sent to Blackgate a year ago. Now Benji is living with his friend Blake’s family. Eventually, Benji decides to sneak into one of Lynns’s old hideouts and steals the Firefly equipment. Benji initially wanted to use the Firefly suit to gather enough wealth to afford a trade school or college. When Benji realized that he couldn’t follow through on an attempted robbery, he decided instead to become a vigilante a la Violet, stopping crime while taking some of the haul for himself. It isn’t glamorous or honorable, but honor won’t get Benji a better life.
Cassandra Cain, Mamaragan, & Others - A Single Word Spoken
A girl in the shape of a weapon is brought to Fawcett City, where she fulfills her purpose for the first and last time.
The girl who can no longer be a weapon hides from her wielder in an old subway and finds herself transported to a place of great magic.
There, the girl who wishes to be more than she was made to be finds a Wizard, who sees the girl for her heart and not for the blood staining her skin. The Wizard teaches the girl a name.
The girl speaks her first word.
And so she speaks power.
Tim Drake/Bernard Dowd - Pull My Heart Across the Ice
Tim and Bernard go on an ice skating date, for real this time. Tim enjoys acting like he doesn’t know how to ice skate. Fluff and humor.
Tim Drake/Bernard Dowd & Batfamily Members- The Tale of the Bedazzled Turtle
Bernard gets Tim a turtle figurine while they’re on a date to the Gotham Aquarium. When it goes missing at Wayne Manor, the hunt is on.
Tim Drake/Bernard Dowd - A High-Speed Romantic Tryst on an Open-Water Murder Shack
Tim and Bernard being cute on Tim's houseboat, they hear a commotion and find that a neighboring houseboat has been stolen and is speeding away. Cue chase, featuring bad puns.
Tim Drake, Young Just Us, Caitlin Snow, & Batfamily Members - Snowfall
Tim is investigating a case involving Mr. Freeze and a dangerous ice machine powered by a Self-Sustaining Thermodynamic Ultraconductor Engine. During the fight, however, Tim gets knocked into the STU engine, taking out the coolant system and causing the whole thing to explode. In the aftermath, Tim discovers that he has become a heat vampire, much like Caitlin Snow, AKA Frost.
Krypto the Superdog, Tim Drake/Kon-El Kent - Puppy Love
TimKon get-together from Krypto’s perspective.
Kon-El Kent & Others - Left Behind
When Kon died during the events of Infinite Crisis, he became a ghost. The worst part is, his future resurrection doesn’t change that.
Tim Drake & Dex-Starr - A Duck and a Cat Walk Into a Bar
What does one do after managing to befriend a cat with a red Power Ring?
Batfamily Members & Alfred Pennyworth - Alfred Calls Shotgun
Many claim that Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne’s valet/butler and the apparent true head of the household, is the most sane and responsible member of the family. They are very, very wrong. When Alfred Pennyworth sees a problem, Alfred Pennyworth will not hesitate to solve it with a shotgun, even when a shotgun is a terrible solution. Pure crack.
Duke Thomas & Tatsu Toro - Cracks Filled With Gold
Angst/comfort with Tatsu helping by teaching Duke to make kintsugi pottery.
Cullen Row, Harper Row, & Others - LGF: Little Green Friend
Cullen Row comes across a small, injured alien and takes it home. The alien isn’t quite sapient, but the two become fast friends. Hiding the alien from Harper is a challenge, though, especially when the alien starts growing.
Cullen Row - Rows and Rows of Worlds
Cullen Row comes across a strange object on the shore of Gotham Bay. Upon touching it, though, the thing sinks into Cullen’s hand. He passes out from the pain. When he wakes up, he finds himself on another Earth.
Dick Grayson & Bruce Wayne - Green Tights
During his first encounter with Two-Face, Robin gets chosen by a green Power Ring. Silver-Age versions of the characters.
Damian Wayne & Batfamily Members - Surnames and Succession
A character study of Damian Wayne’s early years at the manor, his habit of referring to people with their surnames, and the paradigm shift therein.
Damian Wayne & Batfamily Members - Out of Sight, Out of Reach
While on a mission, Damian gets caught in an explosion from a villain’s machine, which renders him invisible, inaudible, and mostly intangible.
Damian Wayne, Jonathan Samuel Kent, Kathy Branden, & Maya Ducard - Young Titans: Beginnings
Damian Wayne, AKA Robin, was well aware that each of his older brothers has had a super hero team to call their own. Richard led the Teen Titans and later the Titans. Todd led the Outlaws. Even Drake led Young Justice, as laughably immature as that team was. Damian, though, has yet to lead a team of his own. He decides to change that. Enlisting the aid of his friend Jon Kent, AKA Superboy, Damian sets out to form his own team of superheroes: the Young Titans! [The current roster is set to include Robin, Superboy, Nobody, and Beacon at first, then Suren Darga, Ma’alefa’ak, Abuse, and others. Additions beyond the core four would be gradual.]
Damian Wayne, Jon Kent, Kathy Branden, Maya Ducard, Ma’alefa’ak, & Others - Young Titans: Old Wounds
Damian’s new team, the Young Titans, have established themselves in the hero community and the wider public eye. They’ve gained some admirers and even a few Rogues. Unfortunately, they’ve also caught the attention of Lex Luthor. Superman’s greatest foe has given up on trying to clone or brainwash Kryptonians. That would be great, except that he’s decided to shift his focus to Martians instead. Lex has successfully cloned a Green Martian, and he has the perfect target in mind for a field test. In this sequel to “Forming the Young Titans,” the Young Titans will face a Justice League-level villain from long ago, born anew: Malefic.
Additional note: @jesncin has given me permission to use their depiction of Ma’alefa’ak as a basis for the character in this fic.
Young Titans, Tai Pham, & Others - Young Titans: Distant Heritage
A strange shockwave transports Tai Pham, first Green Lantern of his generation, to an unfamiliar city in the middle of a battle between a team of young heroes and a villain. Tai joins the team, these Young Titans, to figure out what brought him here and how to send him back home. At the same time, Ma’alefa’ak, now going mostly by Malek, is trying to reconnect with his brother and the history that seems determined to leave him behind.
Young Titans, Colin Wilkes, Original Characters, & Others - Young Titans: Ambrosia
Someone’s giving superpowers away and creating supervillains, and some of those powers are killing their users. The Young Titans need to find out who’s behind it and shut them down. That’s made more difficult by a new hero team, the Olympians, some of whose members are foes the Young Titans have faced before. This new team is sponsored by Lindworth Industries, which is premiering a revolutionary method of treating metagenes and working to rehabilitate Point City’s superpowered criminals.
Damian Wayne & Superheroes’ Pets - Damian Wayne, the Super Petsitter
Damian Wayne goes about his daily routine of caring for all of his animals. Dick takes and posts pictures of Damian doing so (he barely escapes with his life). Over the next few weeks, various members of the hero community (and a few outside of it) get in touch with Dick to ask if Damian would mind petsitting for them. Damian agrees to consider the requests, under the condition that he petsit their pets at Wayne Manor. Each chapter has Damian trying to petsit a different hero’s pet, from Wonder Woman’s kangaroo Jumpa, to Harley Quinn’s hyenas Bud and Lou, to Klarion’s familiar Teekl. Shenanigans will abound as Damian is having both the best and most annoying time of his life and his family slowly loses their sanity.
Damian Wayne - Animals Are Better Than People
Damian shapeshifter AU.
Damian Wayne & Egyptian Mythology - Heavy As A Feather
Damian Wayne takes in a stray cat one day. As the Bat luck would have it, the cat is actually Ammit the Devourer. Maybe Jason should stay away until it all gets sorted out. Just in case.
Damian Wayne & Original Honorspren Character - The Light In The Knight
Stormlight Archive fusion crossover. The Knights Radiant have been completely forgotten. Covers Damian's history in this world, where an honorspren finds him when he's in the League of Assassins.
Damian Wayne, Dick Grayson, Bruce Wayne, & Others - Small-Time Vehicular Mayhem
Damian goes on a class field trip to TinyTowne, where the class gets to simulate taking a driver’s license exam and drive around a miniature town. Damian finds the whole thing insulting, so he decides to cause chaos.
Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Alfred Pennyworth, & Others - A Severe Lack of Ducks
AU where Tim never made the quadruple somersault connection and so he never joined the BatFamily.
Jason Todd & Bruce Wayne - The Words I Want to Say Get Stuck Behind My Lips
Jason Todd ends up transported to another universe. This Earth appears to be almost identical to his own, but the difference that sticks out the most is Bruce. In this universe, Bruce eventually started seeing a therapist within the hero community. He’s still Batman, but he’s not the emotionally incompetent lummox that Jason’s used to dealing with (read: pissing off). The two of them end up talking, and while Jason leaves more frustrated than ever with his universe’s Bruce, at least now he knows the words his Bruce could never get himself to say. [This is largely an excuse to write an actual emotionally productive conversation between Jason and Bruce where Bruce doesn’t just stare at Jason like a goldfish.]
Jason Todd & Original Characters - Jason Todd the Teaching Assistant
Jason takes a job as a TA at Gotham U for a case. He gets attached.
Jason Todd, Bruce Wayne, Alfred Pennyworth, & Others - The Hero’s Return to the Normal World
A “Jason Lives” AU. After the events in Ethiopia, Jason is left permanently impaired to where he can no longer be Robin. Where he’ll go from there is up to him.
Jason Todd, Boston Brand, & Others - Hallowed Walls
After Jason Todd dies, his soul finds its way to Nanda Parbat.
Justice League Members - When the Hell Did Our Lives Get so Weird?
The Justice League discusses the weirdest, grossest, and downright strangest villains each of them has fought, a conversation brought on by someone mentioning Starro. Humor, mostly dialogue.
Justice League Members - The SSN Justice
Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, John Stewart, Barry Allen, and others serve on the crew of a submarine on a mission to find the lost city of Atlantis.
Edward Nygma - A Recursive Riddle
The Riddler gets trapped in a time loop wherein the only way out is to solve a seemingly impossible riddle.
Edward Nigma, Bruce Wayne, Jason Todd, & Others - What Lies Six Underground But Cannot Be Found?
Based on the whole “Riddler checks Jason’s grave and finds it empty” post.
Kon-El Kent, Tim Drake, Bart Allen, & Cassie Sandsmark - Red, Blue, Look at You
A piece of red Kryptonite splits Kon into blue and red versions of himself during a Young Justice mission. The blue version has the personality of Conner from the cartoon, while the red version has Kon’s personality from the start of YJ98.
Kon-El Kent, Bart Allen, Max Mercury, & Others - That Alabama Clone Life
AU where Max Mercury adopts Kon.
Jason Todd & Damian Wayne - Gotham's New Dynamic Duo!
Talia al Ghul sends Jason Todd away from the League of Assassins with a Damian Wayne in tow. When they get to Gotham, however, Damian stays with Jason instead of meeting Bruce. Damian eventually starts fighting at Jason's side as a vigilante.
Talia al Ghul, Bruce Wayne, Damian al Ghul, Alfred Pennyworth, Ravi, Ra's al Ghul, and Ace the Bat-Hound - Flight of the Demon's Daughter
Jason Todd stays dead, and Tim Drake doesn't become Robin, so Talia al Ghul is forced to take matters into her own hands.
Jonathan Samuel Kent & Jonathan Samuel Kent & Others - A Tale of Two Jon Kents
It sucked that Bendis aged up Jon. I want Sunshine Jon back as much as anyone. But I can acknowledge that there are some things about the aged-up Jon that I’d like to keep around (namely his relationship with Jay). So I thought, ¿por qué no los dos? We had two versions of Clark Kent running around for years back in the day, and Jon’s entire origin is based in multiverse shenanigans, so who’s to say that Sunshine Jon couldn’t be written back into the comics without erasing the aged-up Jon? Certainly not me.
One day, Sman!Jon encounters Mxyzptlk. Mxy, being who he is, isn’t a fan of Jon’s recent growth spurt. He intends to simply rewrite Jon’s history so that he never left with Jor-El, but Jon appeals to Mxy’s love of drama by explaining how Jon’s current existence as Superman has caused a lot of controversy in the nation. Mxy thinks about it, then decides to just have it both ways. He creates a duplicate timeline, from the beginning of Jon’s existence on Prime Earth to the moments before he decides to leave with Jor-El. Mxy then manipulates the alternate Jon to decide not to leave with Jor-El. Mxy then merges the alternate timeline with the main timeline, resulting in both Sman!Jon and Sunshine Jon existing simultaneously. Mxy then leaves them with a cryptic warning, hinting that only one of them will be able to remain in the main timeline. This story will alternate between the two Jons, exploring their perception of each other and the bond they end up forming, but other characters, especially Damian and Lois, will receive POV chapters as well. Kon will also get involved.
Chris Kent, Kathy Branden, Maya Ducard, & SuperFamily Members - The World Didn’t Stand Still
Kathy Branden decides to use her shop’s teleporter to peer in on the Phantom Zone. She comes back with Chris Kent in tow.
Chris Kent, Jon Kent, Lex Luthor, Task Force X, & Others - Nightwing Rising
It’s been four years since Chris was pulled out of the Phantom Zone, since he renounced Zod and Ursa for good. Four years since he reunited with his family, albeit with some new additions. He’s settled in, found his place in families both Kent and Super. Chris has everything he could have ever hoped for. He’s safe, and loved, and content.
If only that could last.
The Flamebird, ancient Kryptonian goddess of destruction, is coming. Nobody knows why. President Luthor is happy to give them a target while he sets his sights elsewhere.
And something is stirring inside Chris himself. He dreams the same dream, over and over, of shattered glass and shackled ghosts. Shadows and secrets call out to him, begging him to answer. Something else, just out of sight, coils around him with whispers of something more.
He’s just a boy. He’s not ready.
It doesn’t matter.
The Phantom Zone is trembling.
Perry White, Jimmy Olsen, & Space Cabby - Space Scoop Switcharooo
Space Cabby and Jimmy Olsen mistaken identity fic from Perry White's perspective.
Luke Fox, Harper Row, Cullen Row, Charlotte Gage-Radcliffe, & Others - Bats on the Periphery
A series of mostly unconnected oneshots centering on the Batfamily members outside the inner circle.
Batfamily Members - A Snowball Fight of Batty Proportions
The Batfamily have a snowball fight at Wayne Manor. At least it’s not the most mayhem they’ve ever caused. Pure crack.
Selina Kyle, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, & Tim Drake - The Cattail Lounge
Prohibition-Era speakeasy AU. Selina Kyle runs the Cattail Lounge, one of the last surviving speakeasies in Gotham City alongside the Iceberg Lounge, owned by the vicious Oswald Cobblepot. The Cattail's on increasingly harder times as the Iceberg encroaches further and further. Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, and Tim Drake are in Ms. Kyle's employ.
Jason Todd & Jason Todd & Batfamily Members - Two Robins Means Twice the Magic!
Through multiversal and magic shenanigans, Jason Todd has his body and mind regressed to his early years as Robin, and a second Robin-aged Jason Todd gets dragged into their universe. The alternate-universe Jason is inexplicably much more violent, reckless, and irresponsible than their Robin-aged Jason. This fic explores everyone’s relationship with their Jason, especially Dick and Bruce, and their attempts to navigate and bond with the alternate-universe Jason.
Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Billy Batson, Anita Fite, & Others - The Echoes of Our Unjust Deaths
In which characters have dreams about alternate-universe versions of themselves. Unfortunately, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, and Billy Batson have recently been suffering constant nightmares about alternate-universe versions of themselves dying. Billy is able to figure out that something magical is going on that’s causing these nightmares for them, and so the three, along with Anita Fite, band together to get to the bottom of it. While doing so, they’ll try to navigate the complications their nightmares have created in their relationships with others. [Starring such stories as DC vs. Vampires, A World Without Young Justice, Injustice, Flashpoint, and more.]
Bernard Dowd / Tim Drake, Bernard Dowd & Bruce Wayne - Playing Darts With a Conspiracy Theorist
Tim introduces Bruce to Bernard. Bruce and Bernard get talking and eventually land on conspiracy theories about heroes, namely Gotham’s vigilantes. Bruce has spent many hours spreading false theories about the Bats online, so he’s read some weird ideas. But somehow Bernard’s theories are far more utterly off-the-wall than Bruce would have thought possible. Pure crack, heavy on dialogue.
“Big Hero Six AU” - The Titans of San Fransokyo
Bruce is not Batman. Dick is in the role of Tadashi and dies. Tim is in the role of Hiro and teams up with Dick’s university classmates, who are the Titans, though without powers. Baymax’s armor resembles Batman’s, but he still just goes by Baymax. Victor Fries instead of Callaghan.
Tim Drake & Batkids - Hell Hath No Fury Like a Robin Scorned
Tim’s siblings get on his nerves individually to the point that he gets revenge on each of them. Done in a 5+1 format.
Batfamily Members - The Gotham Grand Prix
The Batkids have a race through Gotham City.
Vicki Vale & Red Robin - Thinly Vale'd Animosity
Vicki Vale is dead certain that Wayne heir Tim Drake is secretly the vigilante Red Robin, but her every attempt to prove the connection blows up in her face.
Tim Drake / Bernard Dowd - They Keep Falling for Each Other All Over Again
An exploration of Tim and Bernard’s relationship through the years.
Damian Wayne - The Brown-Haired Demon
Damian dyes his hair brown for a mission, but he unintentionally uses dye that refuses to wash out, so he has to let it grow out naturally. Everyone around him is far more disturbed by Damian's new hair color than they have any right to be. Pure crack.
Young Justice Core Four - Mantle Semantics
The Young Justice Core Four discuss their codenames and what names they might consider using in the future.
Young Just Us - Merry Apokolips!
Young Justice gets trapped on Apokolips on Christmas Eve. Santa Claus comes to the rescue on his annual trip to give Darkseid a lump of coal. There may or may not be words had about that time Santa got hit by a meteorite.
Billy Batson & Dick Grayson - Batson and the Bat’s Son
Dick Grayson has tracked a human trafficking ring from Blüdhaven to Fawcett City. When Nightwing spots some thugs from the ring kidnapping a kid off the street at night, he follows them back to their base of operations. He busts the ring and rescues all of the kidnapped persons, including that night’s unconscious victim, Billy Batson. Nightwing makes sure Billy’s alright turns him over to Social Services. Dick spends the next few days in Fawcett looking into Billy. After learning about Billy’s history with foster homes, he impulsively decides to help the kid by fostering him. Billy knows Batman’s and Nightwing’s identities, though they don’t know his, so he agrees for the time being. Now Dick’s trying to take care of this kid who reminds Dick painfully of his younger self while balancing work and keeping his vigilante life secret.
Billy Batson & Sivana Family - Fostered by the Sivanas
AU where pre-powers Billy gets fostered by the Sivanas.
Dick Grayson & Billy Batson - To Hell And Back
Dick loses another brother. He refuses to accept that… Captain Marvel’s been to the Underworld before, right?
Billy Batson & Shazamily - Cats Can’t Say “SHAZAM!”
Doctor Sivana turns Billy into a ginger tabby cat, with the idea being that he won’t be able to say the magic word as an animal. With the Justice League unaware of the situation and Billy unable to reach out to them or any other allies, Billy tries to survive on the streets as a cat. Eventually, though, he's found by Darla Dudley and Mary Bromfield, who take him to live with the Vasquezes.
Billy Batson, Freddy Freeman, Tawky Tawny, Doctor Sivana, & Others - Lethe the Past Behind
"The boy woke in an alley." Preboot continuity, Billy Batson has mysteriously lost all of his memories. As such, Captain Marvel has also gone missing, and the Justice League are starting to get very concerned.
Selina Kyle, Billy Batson, & Tim Drake - Stray Tiger Cub
When Selina Kyle finds a kid passed out in an alley, skin and throat laced with Lichtenberg scars… well, she’s always had a fondness for strays. Told from Selina’s perspective. Something has gone wrong with the Rock, turning the magic lightning against Billy’s body. It leaves him powerless and without a voice.
Billy Batson, Kent Nelson, & Khalid Nassour - Crossroads
Billy Batson gets taken in by Kent Nelson as a kind-of apprentice, kind-of ward. Khalid is also there.
Tim Drake & Renee Montoya - Bat-Shaped Question Mark
Canon-divergent Red Robin AU where Renee didn't retire from the Question after Final Crisis. What if Renee took Tim under her wing during Red Robin?
Tim Drake & BatFamily Members - Late to the Party
Instead of becoming Robin following Jason Todd's death, Tim Drake joins the BatFamily after Damian Wayne is killed by the Heretic.
Billy Batson & Amon Tomaz - Through the Fields of Asphodel
Billy Batson (Captain Marvel) and Amon Tomaz (Osiris) journey into the Underworld, which has, for unknown reasons, been struggling between its Greek and Egyptian forms.
Billy Batson & Poseidon - Get In the Water
Captain Marvel picks a fight with Poseidon to save a passenger ship.
Tim Drake, Jack Drake, Dana Winters, & Others - A Key Change of Scenery
What if the Drake family didn't return to Gotham after moving to Keystone City following the events of Cataclysm?
Tim Drake, Bruce Wayne, Jason Todd, & Others - Home to Roost Regardless
An AU exploring a timeline where Jason never died, so Tim never got involved with the Waynes, so both of his parents were killed by the Obeah Man.
Tim Drake, Jack Drake, Janet Drake, Barbara Gordon, & Jason Todd - The Scale of a Legacy
The Drake family has a long history of powerful shifters, from wyrms to wyverns to hydras and everything in between, but most notably drakes. Members of the Drake family have influenced history for as long as there have been records to tell of them.
From the moment he was born, Timothy Jackson Drake was expected to continue his family’s proud legacy. There’s one small problem, though: Tim’s shift is the wrong kind of drake.
Tim Drake & Batfamily - Honey, I Shrunk the Tim
Tim gets hit by a shrinking spell.
Tim Drake & Others - Healing Factor
AU where Tim has a powerful healing factor. Anthology-style.
Tim Drake, Jaime Reyes, Kon-El, Bart Allen, & Cassie Sandsmark - Khepri of the Rising Sun
After a Teen Titans mission to help Doiby Dickles and the planet Myrg, the team's ship passes through an undetected electromagnetic storm that causes them to crash in the jungles of the planet Odym, home of the Blue Lantern Corps. As they are traveling to the Central Power Battery to get a new ride home, Tim comes across a near-defunct Reach scarab, likely left over from the Reach's attempted invasion of Odym. Tim takes the scarab to research it back in Gotham.
Tim Drake and Cassie Sandsmark - Archaeology Brats
Pre-canon canon-divergent AU where Tim and Cassie become friends as kids on their parents’ archaeological digs.
Tim Drake, Bernard Dowd, Darla Aquista, Teen Titans, and the Omnitrix - Tim Ten
Teen Titans-Era Tim Drake finds the Omnitrix during the time when he’s forced to stop being Robin.

Toy Story
Choosing Toy Story as my film this week, I was left with the same feeling of awe washing over me like each time before. The reason for these strong feelings remains the same as well: the movie overflows with emotion. Though the human aspect is what I, and probably most viewers, cling to, the technical aspect of the film plays a significant role in its charm and success. When it comes down to it, though, I loved the idea of my own toys coming to life when I wasn't around, and even more so if they had personalities like the characters in the movie.
Tumblr media
What really makes the movie unforgettable for me has always been the voice acting. The range of emotions you saw and heard from the characters was something I don't remember noticing in any other movie or show I saw as a kid, especially Woody the Cowboy.
Tumblr media
Some research into the film's conception and production helped put why I'm so attached to the animation and voice acting into perspective. Not only was Toy Story the first fully computer animated movie, the voice cast was comprised of popular actors like Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Wallace Shawn to name a few. Coupled with Disney's financial backing, the film had a lot going for it right from the get-go. Making close to $400,000,000 worldwide, the movie made more than ten times its budget of $30,000,000, Toy Story became a critical success. The film's unique approach in using a new medium, perfectly capturing facial expressions and movement, was one of Pixar's main selling points. Blending the possibilities of animation with a hyper-realistic look and feel drew in both adults and children, including the film's actors themselves.
Tumblr media
Produced at the beginning of the 90s, technology was quickly evolving and the entertainment industry was quick to take advantage of the progress. With breakthroughs like Galileo reaching Saturn the same year the film released, Pixar saw and took action on these fast developments, ultimately setting the precedent for future computer animated shows and films.
Tumblr media
Although a kid's movie from Disney, meaning it's pretty conventional by playing out with a happy ending like most would expect from a film like this, watching it as an adult is a different experience. Having kids as its main demographic may have kept adults from seeing it at the time and may be true now as well, but taking a closer look at the characters shows their not just there to keep the movie going. Re-watching it this week, rather than focusing on the story itself I was more drawn to contrast between the film's main human characters Andy and Sid.
Andy, the younger, caring child whose attention Woody fights for most of the film, and his next door neighbor Sid, older and sadistic toward his own toys. This contrast is shown throughout the film not only in the way each of the boys treats their toys, but also in their environments and even their respective family. Andy's introduction at the beginning of the film is colorful, cheerful, full of imaginative interactions with all his toys, complete with Randy Newman's "You've Got a Friend in Me" as an accompaniment to further drive Andy and Woody's bond.
On the hand, Sid's introduction has the viewer looking at him from a safe distance, looking down from Andy's bedroom window. The music is darker, and barely audible, with his version of "playtime" consisting of taping explosives to his toy watching it explode. Considering how human Andy's toy feel up to this point in the film and quickly accepting their very much alive and capable of feeling emotions, this scene has always disturbed me a bit. Very visceral feeling seeing the toys limbs flying. That said, Sid is also alone in his backyard, without supervision, unlike the interaction Andy has with his mother at the beginning, setting a feeling of her presence even though her face is barely shown throughout. Along the same vein, Andy also seems close to his baby sister while Sid's interactions with his sister, Hannah, feel more violent. Lastly, Sid's disconnect from his family is further shown with the absence of his mother. We hear her voice, but she's never seen. All this to say that despite the contrast and the goal of cementing Sid's role as the antagonist, the stark differences between him and Andy made me realize that there's more to him than just being the bad guy. Approaching it from this perspective got me thinking "maybe he's mean to his toys because he lacks the connections and support Andy has with his family, and that's reflected in the way he treats his toys.
Roger Ebert summarized this, and my feelings about it, well with this quote from his review of the movie, "its conflict is between an old-fashioned cowboy who has always been a little boy's favorite toy, and the new space ranger who may replace him. The villain is the mean kid next door who takes toys apart and puts them back together again in macabre combinations. And the result is a visionary roller-coaster ride of a movie."
While I can watch this movie over and over with more appreciation for each time, the graphics always stick out to me a little more. Looking at more recent reviews, I'm not alone in feeling this way.
Tumblr media
Sean Axmaker reviewed it with "the technical bar has been raised much higher in the subsequent decades and the human characters look creepy and primitive by today’s standards, but the film is far more than a technical achievement."
Even though Toy Story's graphics receive the most criticism, I agree that it's charm remains unwavering.

Watch "Free Guy | Official Trailer | 20th Century Studios" on YouTube
youtube
It's a huge huge deal that he did this movie he's telling people get with it and his gear and use your gear and people still aren't and they're a bunch of fruitcakes we despise them for it we need to catch up with production if we don't need anything hard we're going to keep going or it's going to be dangerous for our people and that's true we need to get to the hard stuff and this game will help truthfully people who are doing this stuff are very arrogant about it and it won't be able to resist and they're going to do the tournament just like race cars and her son says we should go into racing and just force our way in and the others will be forced to use their cars that are fast and we want to see that and their manufacturing them somewhere people need to know that if they don't let us in we're going to cut them out of the racing circuits entirely and they won't have that so that's what we have to start doing right now this game is going to be extremely famous this is one of the games did you play in order to get into the master tournament and the master tournament has eternals Galactus and other characters that you choose as your avatar and character and a lot of you will be playing Galactus games that have eternals in them and other such Giants and her son is Galactus he has eternals but he plays Galactus and that's what he is and a lot of people want to see him in the tournament and he'll probably have gear that looks real in the future but he's not giant so he doesn't have any money at all so you can't do anything but you're going to be in the tournament saying that he's losing and all the babble and you're going to look foolish. As he has beaten some of you when you challenge him and they want to save face and they can't
I'm very excited about this idea it's an addition to it as other ideas were but really it's a compilation of everything into one humongous game and sure you have to have Pokemon and the characters look a little more heinous in the finale and towards it and they're more like the real occasion that they represent but that's what really Pokemon is Pokemon it's like child's Play the movie or the movie toys where they the toy soldiers attack people or and there's the army soldiers that are taking the house over and their toys it's more like that or to infinity and beyond but Tim Allen and they become something different and they become real characters and it's very dangerous infinity and beyond character becomes a space Marine from starcraft or Warcraft and he's in there and you can hear his voice it sounds like him and it's hell these people are in hell it's War so get ready because this is going to be the most intense 3D experience of your life everybody's going to want the rides they want the games at the entertainment centers and we're the ones who build them as a matter of fact we're going to start building a few cuz if we don't it won't happen
Thor Freya
When we build the entertainment centers and you can get your facility certified it will have a certified label. And the tournaments will be called something and it will be destiny 2 Masters tournament approved that will be what the label looks like and the tournament will be destiny 2 Masters tournament
We approve this message and the title and it's going to hold and everybody is saying it it's our destiny 2 he's always saying it's his and there's going to be a fight because of it

Notes about the Batman Coffeeshop AU
TW- SA, human experimentation, mass casualty but like in the terms of an apocalypse
* MC is named Lilly and she’s the illegitimate child of Bruce Wayne
* Before events of story She spends 2 years at University of Atlanta studying Criminal Justice before dropping out
* Brett Stillwell - baseball player at UoA; metahuman with a form of manipulation ability that (in essence) causes people to do what he wants; mostly uses it to rape/sexually assault girls on campus
* Brett attempts to use his powers on Lilly but it doesn’t work (this is important later)
* He uses his powers on Mandalynn (Lilly’s roommate) and uses her to convince Lilly to a party and roofie her. She is raped by Brett and three unnamed baseball players. Violently.
* She attempts to report to the campus police but they don’t believe her because she has no visible injuries (important later); Brett attacks Lilly again and warns her that if she attempts to report again or go to her family, he will attack her and force her to watch as he kills her family; this would be when we find out that he is using his powers on campus to essentially control everyone; Lilly would then drop out of school and return home to Gotham
* Beginning of actual story Lilly would open a Coffeeshop (with ambiguous hours I haven’t figured out how this works yet) and somehow manage to flag down Batman. She tells him that her mother (who dies of brain cancer sometime before the events of the story) had told her that her father was Bruce Wayne shorty before she died but she wasn’t sure if it was true because of the brain tumor. She asks Batman to check her dna and see if it was true
* He gets back to her the next night and surprise it’s a girl! She asks to let her be the one to tell Bruce (clearly that’s not gonna happen but he’ll let her keep thinking that); Lilly will not admit this to Bruce for years
* Bruce visits the Coffeeshop everyday in an effort to convince her to tell him (it ain’t happening)
This is where the story would diverge
* in a post apocalyptic universe (sort of) the “rapture” happens (essentially a series of natural disasters strike multiple major cities (massive solar flare in metropolis; gravity goes wonky in Gotham, etc.)) Lilly managed to survive event in Gotham by phasing into the sewer and avoiding the mass casualty event
* This is where the metahuman abilities come into play; Lilly has empathic mimicry (the ability to copy other people’s powers (resistance to other metas, healing, vibration/super speed)).
* She goes to Wayne manor to attempt to find Bruce (she planned to tell him the day the rapture started). No one is there and she accidentally finds Batcave entrance (clock entrance because I’m not a fucking coward) and sees on the bat computer that everyone is dead (Bruce at Wayne tower (tower fell in itself), Alfred in traffic (skyscraper fell into street), Tim in metropolis (vaporized in solar flare), Dick died previously (court of owls))
* In the background the second phase of the rapture starts. A plague attacks anyone that doesn’t have a metagene (rapture was caused by the Reach). Any survivors are rounded up and captured by the reach and experimented on
* After years of hiding in the batcave, Lilly ends up rescuing a young Bart Allen from the reach and raises him. She helps him to travel back in time to stop the Reach.
* Alternate version without metahuman!Lilly; Lilly has a blue lantern ring (received after what happened at UoA). Before the rapture, all lanterns were forced off planet by Reach because they were looking for a blue power ring (to use as a power source) and Lilly hides on planet instead of leaving. Jon Stewart clones his ring (this is a real thing I checked) and leaves the real one with Lilly (“you’ll know who to give this to”) and uses the copy to get back to Oa.
* During the Rapture, Lilly escapes into sewer and finds Talon!Dick in the middle of killing the court. She gives him the green ring; similar to other one, they hide in labyrinth and eventually rescue Bart and raise him/send him back in time
* In regular non scary version - Jason would be Lilly’s roommate. She knows he’s red hood and he knows she’s Bruce’s kid but that’s the extent of the knowledge. This would pretty much descend into various one shots or crime stories
* In this version, Lilly’s parentage is an open secret but she doesn’t know that everyone knows. (Bruce because of the DNA test, Alfred knows everything, Dick and Tim hacked the bat files, Jason was told by Lilly, Damian noticed that Lilly looks like Martha Wayne)
* Eventually Brett would come back and that would be a whole thing.
* Here’s some art I made for this:

♡ prompt: a baby appears into your timeline to reveal an unexpected surprise.
♡ pairing: Bart Allen (Impulse) x fem reader
♡ note: not checked for grammar or spelling mistakes / for OBVIOUS reasons, it’s altered when it comes to the canon universe because we all know legitimate canon wouldn’t work for this....pain. also!! please if any of you are interested in more characters with prompt, let me know!!
both you and Bart weren’t together. not in the slightest. at the very least, both of you had flirted with each other, PLAYFULLY and all things considered, Bart liked to talk to girls when he had the chance. he was very much like Wally in that sense.
since you weren’t exactly the type to try to flirt with every person with a pulse like Bart did, you really only playfully ‘flirted’ with Jaime, Gar, and sometimes Robin when you were feeling extra confident.
the lair was extra dead tonight with only you, Bart, and Gar sitting down and watching whatever was on TV. you had you legs kicked up on Gar as Bart was reaching over to your lap to grab the popcorn that you were holding.
“the lair being this dead seems unnaturally calm,” you told the two boys. they nodded in agreement but before you could even take another breathe, all of your eyes were averted to the large blue orb that was suddenly in the room. Bart grabbed his gear from behind the couch and Gar immediately transformed. you grabbed the pocket knife from your pocket and held it in a very similar Michael Meyers pose, “what the hell is happening,” you heard Gar whisper.
as all of you were ready to attack, all of you saw a baby, no older than ten months pop out. your instincts immediately jumped to grab the infant before it fell on the ground. you looked to the boys with wide eyes before staring back down to the baby, “oh, hi baby,” you whispered as it let out a cry.
“that’s a baby!” Gar screamed, not knowing what to do. both you and Bart looked at him like he was an idiot, “of course it is! what else would it be?” you retorted, not in the mood to hear his slight stupidity while a child was wailing.
you grabbed the blanket you were using a while ago and wrapped it around her like your sister had taught you. having a niece you guessed at its perks as the baby immediately calmed down, “call someone!” you whispered to the two, “Nightwing, Megan, fucking hell, even the Bat if you can!”
both Gar and Bart ran to the nearest COMM link and rang for anyone in the Justice League or your leaders. as Gar was standing behind you, admiring the tiny baby, he looked at her before looking at you and Bart, “huh, she kinda looks like if she was some kind of combination of the two of you,” Gar said off-handedly.
you and Bart looked at each other before laughing hysterically. a kid? with Bart no less? that sounded like some kind of joke if you’ve ever heard one. Bart sat down next to you and peeked at the hair, “he does have that Allen red hair though,” you stared at him before smacking the back of his head.
it didn’t take long before Nightwing, Robin, and Batman ran into the lair. whatever distress signal Gar or Bart let out must’ve worked because you had never saw any of the three get here as fast as they just did. you looked to Nightwing and Batman while showing them the sleeping baby.
“the three of us were just watching a movie when a blue orb came literally out of nowhere and the baby popped out. we swear we didn’t do ANYTHING,” you explained through nervousness. Batman hummed, seeing how calm the baby was, “kinda looks like the two of you,” Nightwing said out of curiosity.
“THAT’S WHAT I SAID!” Gar yelled, “it has her hair but Bart’s hair color.” you sighed out of annoyance as Nightwing agreed. Batman on the other hand looked at you and back to Bart who was eerily quiet for someone who talked A LOT.
he gave Dick a look as if the two of communicating telepathically. on instant, Dick looked to the three of you, “what did we say about leaving stray cups around,” Nightwing told the three of you. you sighed, “sorry, we didn’t have time to pick up,” you said grabbing your pink Solo cup and tossing it in the trash.
“we’ll see what we can do to get the child back where it belongs,” Batman said giving you a look, “the baby hasn’t given you any trouble, right? come with me and bring the child. we can run a DNA sample and see if he has any connections to any of the members whether it’s in the league or among the team,” he asked.
discreetly, Tim had gotten a cotton swab and took the spit from the residue on the solo cup and put it in his small pocket before following all of you. you felt the baby stir in your arms and as she opened her eyes, you smiled down at it. you had no idea where these maternal instincts came from but oddly enough, you had this mother bear protectiveness over her.
you waited for something that had to be brought by Nightwing to the lair and during that time, you played with the baby, who Bart decided to call Autumn for the time being. Nightwing came back a bit later and gave whatever he brought to Nightwing as he watched you and Bart play with the girl.
while the two of you wanted to hand the baby over to Gar, Megan, Zatanna, hell even Robin, she immediately refused and let out a blaring cry whenever you or Bart let her go. everyone immediately handed her back to you or Bart as soon as she started crying and almost as quickly as she started crying, she stopped when you or Bart held her.
“do you think I can go feed her? she’s probably hungry,” you told Nightwing. he nodded as you got up with the baby and grabbed her by the arms, holding them high in the air so she could use her legs to walk without falling, “she seems like a great mom,” Nightwing said.
without a thought or even a second heart beat, Bart nodded in agreement as he watched you walk out. Bart wanted to follow you but didn’t want to seem like he was overwhelming you so he stayed with the Bats and Gar.
not even realizing, he had fallen asleep against the wall as DNA results pinged up on Tim’s screen. the baby had the closest match to your DNA and using the spit from the previous DNA testing Bart had done on Bart, both of your photos showed up as the parents. Tim got Dick’s and Bruce’s attention without trying to make a scene.
Dick laughed because of course the two of you were the parents. no wonder Autumn didn’t want anyone to hold her except for the two of you. as Dick looked down to look at Bart, he saw that he had finally woken up. Tim signaled that he was in the kitchen, trying to make Autumn laugh.
“ironic how that works out,” Gar said. Nightwing and Batman agreed as he told Nightwing to be the one to break the news to the two of you. Gar wanted to hear what you both said when he told you and Tim tagged along as a result.
as they all entered the kitchen, they heard ‘Killer Queen’ by Queen playing from your phone as you and Bart were playing with Autumn. “hey, did the results come back? I bet 50 bucks it was Megan’s and Connor’s!” you said.
Nightwing handed you the papers in a manila folder. you couldn’t help but laugh at how eerily reminiscent this was to a Maury TV show segment. you opened the folder to see your team photo right along Barts as the arrows pointed to the Autumn.
out of sheer shock, you dropped the folder on the floor as you felt like the wind was knocked out of you. Bart looked at the ground to see what the results were but he, unlike you, laughed. you had given Nightwing the baby to hold before grabbing the folder.
“congrats?” Gar said awkwardly, “you’re parents!”
before you could respond to his witty comments, you saw the same blue orb enter the lair again. you stared at the orb as two people walked out, arguing with each other at the top of their lungs. you grabbed the baby from Nightwing and held it tightly against your chest as Bart went into defense mode and jumped in front of the two of you.
“i think it’s the two of you from the future,” Robin said as eerily similar version of the two of you walked into view. future you immediately sighed in relief as she saw you holding the baby, “so she did get sent to the past,” future you said.
you looked yourself, “so, I’m assuming bird boy here did his little magic and figured out both of you were the parents?” you said. you nodded as older Bart chuckled and stood next to his younger self, “how did we get together?” he asked himself.
“what’s the date?” he asked. Nightwing gave him the date and Bart laughed, “you’ll see in a few weeks actually. word of advice, don’t piss her off while she’s pregnant. I learned this the hard way,” Bart warned. older you smiled at you as you stood next to Bart, “we gotta go back to our timeline. the twins are killing me and she’s getting restless,” you said.
“TWINS?” all of you screamed at the sudden confession. older you smacked yourself as Bart warned you about spoilers, “twins....” you murmured to yourself as your older versions walked back into the orb and waved all of you off.
Nightwing had told Gar and Tim to leave the two of you alone so you could process what you had just found out. you looked too Bart who was scratching the back of his head, “we have kids together, huh?” you told Bart, “three kids at that,” he replied.
you gave Bart a smile, “whenever you’re done flirting with every girl on the planet, you know where you can find me,” you told him, giving Bart a wink before walking back into the kitchen, “no fair! you flirt with Jaime all the time!” he retorted as he walked into the kitchen.

Misbehavior (Part 1)
Jason Todd x batkid!reader
warnings:
a/n: tysm anon!!
prompt: anonymous: “Hello Lacey! Hope your doing great! Could I please request a bat family x batsis!reader where the reader is Kind of the middle child (I was thinking older than Damian but younger than Tim) and she’s always forgotten and in the back. Maybe some scenarios can be that no one listens when she talks or they forget to invite her to do stuff. So then one day she acts up in school like maybe punching someone for no good reason because she’s craving attention but instead of Bruce showing up to get her Jason shows up and he sees that she’s actually really sad and starts to question her until she tells him everything and maybe spills some tears and it ends with just Jason comforting her and cheering her up. Just some soft Jason for my soul! Also have a great day and I hope that you feel better and more motivated now after your break! 😘”
part 2
Tumblr media
No matter what you did, none of your deeds went unnoticed. Good or bad.
You always heard how Dick was so independent, the one everyone should use as an example.
You always heard how Barbara could do it all, she never failed to impress.
You always heard how Jason was reckless, someone who needed to get his act together.
You always heard how Tim was such a prodigy, he was one of a kind.
You always heard how Steph was so determined, she had such amazing goals.
You always heard that Cass was perfect, they’d never change a thing about her.
You always heard that Duke was so strong, he’d never give up no matter what stood in his way.
You always heard that Damian was dangerous, a kid that needed to be guided.
But what about you? What did they hear about you? Nothing. No one ever spoke of you, they didn’t have the time. It seemed as if you were just unimpressive, there wasn’t one thing that needed to be mentioned. Stuck in the middle of a bunch of bats and birds, no way to stand out in the crowd.
Maybe not in a mask or a cowl, a dress or a suit, behind a computer or among the darkness, but there was one place you couldn’t be ignored...
You sat at your desk, picking at old tape with the tip of your fingernail. The teacher had nothing interesting to say, so what was the point of being here? What made Gotham Academy so special that you just had to attend this place?
The uniform was overkill, the classes went nowhere, the students were too preppy, and you didn’t have a single thing in common with anyone here.
Anger was starting to bubble inside you as you continued your internal self-loathing. Your mind was only focused on the negative, but it was shifting from school back to home.
No one was ever there for you, not even on patrol. You’d called for backup several times on missions and nearly lost it all when you had to go in alone. If it were anyone else, a teammate would have met them in a heartbeat.
Your plans were always overshadowed whenever you tried to set up a mission or even just a day off. You wanted cookies? Too bad, Tim wants brownies. You wanted to watch a movie? Too bad, everyone chose a TV show. It was the little things that irked you the most. Half the time, you never even got the memo.
And what about when you all come back from patrol with all sorts of injuries and Alfred comes to patch you up? Well, not you. He’ll run to check on cuts and scrapes. Meanwhile, you had a broken wrist and a black eye.
You’d finally run out of things to pick at around your desk which resorted in you tapping instead. There was a brief bit of zoning out as you remembered the time that Damian’s plan for evading Killer Croc’s attack was to push you in the way. Or the time that Jason hid his guns in your bed for reasons he didn’t care to explain. Or when Dick drank the last of the milk and didn’t tell you until after you poured your cereal. Or when Tim told you that you weren’t fit for the mission he had been planning. Or when Bruce blatantly ignored the story you told out of pure excitement, giving you nothing but a “sounds like you had fun.”
While you were in a horrible daze, you felt a hand on your shoulder that snapped you out of it faster than the Barry Allen. Without even evaluating the situation, your reflexes caused you to turn and twist your classmates arm backwards as he screamed.
“Hey! Stop, ow, that hurts! Stop! Stop it!” You processed his words too late and knew exactly what was coming next.
“Y/N L/N!” You teacher shouted as you drew your hand back. “Dean’s office. Right now.” Her sharp voice sent a chill down your spine, not even the Joker could do that. You’d be able to explain the situation pretty easily, you just didn’t want to make it worse. But there was one ankle that sent you off the edge. Another student tripped you on your way through the aisles, and that student caught a fist to the face. The audience gasped and shouting from your teacher ensued, but you didn’t listen, you’d take the punishment at this point. So you walked right out and headed for the dean’s office without so much as a hall pass.
“Mx. l/n? What’s this about?” Dean Williams was surprised to say the least, you’d never been sent in for discipline before. Was there a certain way to do this?
“Well, I zoned out and some kid behind me grabbed my shoulder, I accidentally twisted his arm.” You retold your story, the abridged version. “But on my way out I punched a kid in the face because he tripped me. That one’s on me.”
“...Well,” the dean frowned at his obligations, but had to go through with some kind of punishment, “I’m going to have to suspend you for physical contact with a student. I’ll call your father to come pick you up.” You shrugged and slouched back in your chair, giving up on any hope of talking your way out of this. It might as well just happen. You listened to the clicking of the buttons on the dean’s phone as he typed in the Wayne Manor phone number, obviously reaching Alfred almost immediately.
“Wayne Manor.” You eard his faint voice through the speaker.
“Hello, this is Dean Williams from Gotham Academy, may I speak to Mr. Wayne? I have his child in my office.” Your dean explained over the phone, peeking back at your for a split second. You were completely unbothered, it was baffling.
“Is it Damian?” You heard him ask, causing an involuntary eye roll.
“Y/N, actually.” There was a long pause before someone else picked up the phone. “Mr. Wayne, this is Dean Williams at Gotham Academy. I have y/n sitting across from me right now, they seemed to have gotten themself into a physical altercation with two separate students, I have no choice but to suspend them.” You heard a deep sigh over the phone, then the handheld piece was handed to you.
“Bruce?” You asked.
“Really? Fighting at school?” He sounded unimpressed. Nothing new, even when you do something new.
“Something like that. Whoops.” He hung up on you right after that, so you handed the phone back and told your dean, “Guess they’ll get me soon.”
“You call your father by his first name?” Dean Williams had nosily questioned.
“I’m adopted.” He obviously didn’t know you as well as your more troublesome sibling, it was time he just minded his business.
After a good thirty minutes of silent waiting while listening to keyboard clacking and papers flipping by the front desk, the office door opened, and to your surprise, it was one of your brothers.
“I’m here for y/n.” He mumbled, signing the piece of paper and showing his ID.
“Alright, Mr. Harper, I just have to check some paperwork really quick...” The receptionist went into your file and checked for your emergency contacts. “You’re all set. Now, y/n has been suspended for two weeks. I suggest you get to the bottom of their little ‘outburst’ before they’re able to come back to school.” It actually pissed Jason off to hear her say that.
“I’ll keep that in mind.” His sarcasm wasn’t subtle. “Come on, kid.” Your brother gripped your arm and led you out of the office, noticing your bitter expression that he couldn’t even rationalize. Was that normal? “So what happened. Bruce just told me to come get you.”
“Of course he did.” You rolled your eyes on the brink of tears, he didn’t even come to get you himself. Jason opened the car door for you and nudged you inside, slamming it once you were clear.
“You better have a good reason,” he warned as he started the engine, “I was in the middle of a poker game.”
“Oh, yeah, ‘cause I’m such an inconvenience.” You were starting to remind him of himself. That was never a good thing.
“Okay, my bad. I didn’t mean it like that.” Jason began speeding down the block, you’d never once seen him obey a speed limit. You’d think someone with a fake ID and a death certificate would want to avoid any run-ins with the cops, but Gotham was just one of those cities.
“Yeah, right.” You reached for the radio knobs and felt Jason’s hand wrap around your wrist.
“No music until you explain yourself.” You fell back into your seat to pout, muttering some curses under your breath. “I won’t tell Bruce or anyone. I swear.”
“I just zoned out. Reflexes.” You bluntly replied.
“What?” He still didn’t have any context to go off of.
“I twisted someone’s arm backwards. Honest mistake.” Jason knew there was more to this story. “But on my way out of the classroom, I punched this kid who tried to trip me. That was on him.”
“As much as I condone payback, you can’t do that at school.” He sighed. “You’ve never been sent home before. That I know of. So why now?”
“Yeah, you know, maybe that’s the issue? You couldn’t tell me if I’ve ever gotten in trouble before. None of you could. You couldn’t tell me a definitive thing about me. When’s my birthday, Jason?” He was at a loss for words. “That’s what I thought.”
“So this was all for attention?” Jason asked. “There’s a hell of a lot of better ways to go about that.”
“Tried them all, this one barely even worked.” You replied with a crack in your voice. “How come none of you care about me? Why am I always looked over? I’m just like the rest of you. I put on that stupid suit every night and kick ass, I get my job done, I get good grades, I’m resourceful, I’m special—” You’d let that last one slip in your rant to your older brother, it shocked him so bad he stopped the car.
“I know what you mean.” Jason stared straight ahead at the empty road. “I felt the same way when I came back. After everyone was used to me being back, it was like nothing ever happened. Bruce just went back to calling me careless, irresponsible.”
“At least you get noticed, Jason. Your identifiable.” You turned to him with a pained look and he risked his confidence to look you in the eye. Once he did, he couldn’t look away. It hurt him to see someone so familiar to himself have tears running down their face because they felt forgotten. No kid should ever have to feel like that. That was why Bruce took him in. That was how Jason became Robin.
“Fuck this.” Jason hit the gas and turned the car around. “We’re getting ice cream. Do you like ice cream? That’s a serious question.”
“I...I guess.” You were somewhat confused by his sudden literal change in direction.
“Good. You’re my kid for today, all my attention goes to you. I’m sure Bruce won’t notice if you’re gone for a few hours.” Jason’s jaw dropped at his last comment. “I didn’t mean it like that.”
“No, you’re right and you should say it.”

Cassie or Bart for the fandom portrayal ask??
Cassie: I think any portrayal of her that forgets that she was also like. a "problem child" like the other members of the core four. or portrayals that make her their babysitter. I also think too many people do reduce her to love-interest category in a lot of fic when cassie has so much more going on for her than "girlfriend of tim or kon (or jaime, because for some reason w*nderbeetle is a thing)"
Bart: cannot stand people who's main personality trait that they use for bart allen is "he's sweet". he is Not. he is a rude motherfucker. I also think that it's weird when specifically cartoon YJ fans portray him as, very outwardly emotional specifically with negative emotions- like dude has a lot of trauma but he's also not very outward with them and he's certainly not constantly crying/having panic attacks (i do think its interesting to explore characters opening up about their trauma, but literally every 3rd fic in any tag for him is like. bart having nightmares needs comfort uwu and its like. ENOUGH.)
one last thing too i really don't like people putting him in damian and jon's generation of heroes when he's like. older than tim drake technically and as of current comics is a legal adult (mentally/physically if not chronologically lol)

Epilogue
In China, a young man was running in the main corridor, heading to the headquarters. He had long black hair, black eyes, white skin and was wearing glasses. He saw a young man with blondie hair, who was talking with a brown-haired girl. They both were Chinese too.
“Is everything alright?” the young man asked “You seem pale” “I need to talk to you mother” the black-haired man said “It is emergency and classified” “I am the next Chang Clan leader” the boy said “You can tell it to me too” “Yeah, but Yan Ling isn’t” he said pointing to the brown-haired girl “Rude” the girl said and the blondie young man inhaled “Mother is in the headquarters. You can go and talk to her, for whatever you want” “Thank you, Bak Chang” the black-haired young man said and ran “I never saw him so afraid before” Ling said and Bak moved his head positive “Anyway” the young man said “Let’s go to the library” the girl waved positive and continued their way.
The black-haired young man, knocked and opened the door of the headquarters. He approached a beautiful woman with pale skin, black hair and blue eyes. He bowed to her.
“What is it, Lee Komui?” the woman asked “I have news. From the European Branch” the young man said, out of breath “I am listening” “The second student of Cross Marian. She died two days ago” “The second too? Was it because of her Innocence or an Akuma attack?” “An Akuma attack, Master Chang Tui” “I see” she said and walked on the corridor. She made a movement to Komui with her head to follow him “So. The Student Exorcist Program ended up to be a disaster” “As it seems, ma’am, yes” “It’s fine. It’s our turn now. It’s time for the Artificial Age” “A-Artificial?” “Yes” the woman said and smiled “The Second Exorcist Program. Made by Artificial Exorcist” she said and stopped in front of a window “Half humans, half Innocence” “Impossible” the boy said “Is it? Take a look”
Komui looked outside of the window. There was a dark room where two children, two eleven years old boys were sitting on the cold floor. They both had black hair and unusual white skin. The first child had short hair and the second had long hair, which were reaching his shoulders.
“Let me introduce you the first two Artificial Exorcists” Tui said showing the two boys “Karma Alma and Kanda Yu”
Komui looked the children with an expression full of fear and awe…
Five years later, Allen came out of a train, caring his baggage. He was fifteen years old now, he could control his innocence and was ready to become an official exorcist. He turned to looked behind him. Cross just standing behind him, having Timcanpy on his shoulder “Come on, Tim” Allen said. Timcanpy left his master and started to fly around Allen. He landed on the top of the boy’s head. Allen was looking around him, like his wanted to explore everything. He walked and looked on the ground. Some meters next to him, where there was a green-to-blue feather. He approached it and took it
“What is that, brat?” Cross asked behind him His master approached him and looked the feather that the boy was holding. It was looking familiar and Cross realized immediately why “I missed her” Allen said. Sarah died by unknown for Allen reason. Of course, Cross knew who was behind her death.“Tch, whatever” Cross said and moved forward.
He was always cold toward to everyone, especially Allen. But deep inside him, he really cared about Allen, like he was his own son and he really missed the two Sisters.
They arrived to a mansion. Outside there was a girl, with an orange dress, red kerchief and a red dot on her forehead. When she saw Cross and Allen, she bowed.
“Welcome to India” the girl said “Nice to meet you” Allen said smiling
India was the last destination, before Allen become an official member or the Black Order, but that is another story…

An alternate reality version of Thomas Wayne appears as the Flashpoint version of Batman. In this continuity, Thomas turns into a crime-fighting vigilante after he and Martha Wayne witness their son Bruce Wayne murdered by a gunman in an alley during a botched mugging. When Barry Allen from the original timeline learns that this universe has a Batman he attempts to elicit his aid in restoring his lost abilities and undoing the changes made to the timeline. When Barry enters the Batcave he expects to find Bruce, but is immediately attacked by this far more violent Caped Crusader, against whom he is no match without his speedster abilities. It's only when Barry calls out the name "Bruce" that Thomas ceases his assault and the two are able to talk. When Barry learns that this timeline's Bruce Wayne was killed as a boy he is able to deduce that the man standing in front of him is Thomas Wayne.[2] Allen reveals to this Batman that the timeline he is living in is an altered version of his own, with significant changes resulting in a much darker and more violent world. Batman asks Barry the details of his son's life after his mainstream counterpart's own death. Willing to change history and ready to sacrifice his own life to restore his son's, Batman agrees to help Barry rewrite the timeline, which they believe has been altered by Eobard Thawne (The Reverse Flash), the first step of which is recreating the accident that gave Allen his powers and turned him into The Flash.[3]
This iteration of Batman is the subject of the mini-series Flashpoint: Batman - Knight of Vengeance, written by Brian Azzarello and drawn by Eduardo Risso. This story is set after the first, failed attempt to restore Barry's powers and fills out the backstory of how different this version of Gotham is and how Thomas operates as Batman. Thomas funds his vigilantism through a string of successful casinos, which he also uses to keep an eye on local criminals.[4] These casinos are managed on his behalf by Oswald Cobbelpot as his security chief, while Batman fights crime. Local judge Harvey Dent is distressed when his twin children are kidnapped by the Joker, so he calls in Thomas and James Gordon who we learn is the Chief of Gotham's privatised police force, owned and funded by Wayne. Dent blames Wayne for the kidnapping as it was he who convinced him that privatising the police force was a good idea, and threatens to take both it and his casinos away if his children aren't found.[5] Gordon, who knows Thomas is Batman and is his closest confidant, works the case while Thomas recovers from a fight with Killer Croc in Gotham's sewers. He consults with Selina Kyle, who is paraplegic in this world and fulfills the role of Oracle, and follows a clue to track down where the Joker is holding the children; The long abandoned Wayne Manor. He misleads Thomas and tries to take down Joker himself, but in a shocking twist ends up shooting Dent's daughter who the Joker had disguised to look like herself. When he realises his mistake and tries to help the girl, The Joker appears from behind him and cuts his throat. This is when we learn that this Joker is none other than Martha Wayne, driven insane by grief following Bruce's murder. Thomas cannot bring himself to kill her due to their past relationship, and so he feels responsible for the Joker's crimes.[6] When he shows up as Batman, having learned of Gordon's plan from Selina, Gordon is already dead, but both children are still alive, the girl just about holding on. While trying to save them, he is attacked by Martha, and we see through flashbacks how her sanity slipped away following their Son's death, and how she blames Thomas and wants to punish him for failing to save him. During their fight Thomas explains to her that he has the chance to re-write history, to save their son but at the cost of both their lives, which is why he feels obligated to ask her if he should go through with it. This revelation seemingly restores Martha's sanity and she makes him promise that he will, and they share a moment as a couple again. But when Martha asks what their son becomes after their counterparts' deaths and Thomas reveals that he becomes that world's Batman, Martha hysterically flees from him, and falls to her death through the same hole that their son once fell into as a child.[7]
After a second attempt successfully restores Barry's powers, Wayne works with the Flash to rally a team to oppose Eobard Thawne's changes to history. He contacts Cyborg for help in tracking down the government's secret "Project: Superman" location, only to be disappointed at Kal-El's frail appearance, having been held in a secret bunker his whole life with no access to the yellow sunlight that grants him his powers. It's only after they free him from captivity that Kal-El's powers manifest after being exposed to sunlight and he flies away.[8] After escaping Project Superman with the help of Element Woman, the Flash's memories change more drastically, forcing Batman to attempt to prevent the speedster's memories from altering. Batman injects the Flash with a drug that slows down electrical activity in the brain. After Hal Jordan's death during an attempt to stop the World War between the Amazonians and Atlanteans, the Flash elects to try to save this altered world, so Batman joins the Flash as the group heads to New Themyscira in Batman's plane and are joined by Enchantress. During the final battle with both Wonder Woman and Aquaman, the battle seems to be in their team's favor until Billy Batson is killed and Eobard finally appears.[9] Batman stabs Professor Zoom in the back using an Amazonian sword and learns that altered timeline was actually created by the Flash as part of an attempt to save his mother, Nora Allen. Before acting on this new information, Batman is fatally wounded by the traitorous Enchantress. Before the Flash leaves to try and restore the old world, a dying Batman thanks him, and entrusts him with a letter to give to his son, expressing his confidence that Barry will recreate the better world the Flash has spoken of and sharing his regret for what will happen to Nora as a consequence. Despite Pandora's actions preventing The Flash's from being able to recreate the Pre-Flashpoint timeline perfectly, Thomas’s will is done as his son is alive as Batman in this New Alternate Timeline. Barry gives Thomas's letter to Bruce Wayne and tells him that the timeline could not have been restored without Thomas's help.[10]
Thomas's letter tells Bruce that the loss he suffered has corrupted him, that he is consumed by his past and is neither a Hero or even a good man. He credits those qualities to Barry Allen, due to his ability to move past his own loss and find hope and love again, hinting perhaps that he hopes Bruce can do the same.[11]
ConvergenceEdit
Main article: Convergence (comics)
In the Convergence crossover, when the alternate Brainiac miniaturized the reality of the Flashpoint universe, Thomas Wayne had returned alongside Captain Thunder, Kal-El, Abin Sur and Cyborg. Thomas prepares for war against the Pre-Flashpoint Gotham City. He ponders if this Gotham City belongs to the same world that both Flash comes from and where Bruce is alive. Thomas also mentioned that he is unsure of his being "dead" in battle and forced to fight their opposite Superman by the voice of Telos.[12] While he watched digital renderings in the Batcave of the Pre-Flashpoint heroes against Superman, he was confronted by Kal-El asking to help the other-reality Lois Lane's pregnancy and convinces him that the other-reality heroes are not enemies. Superman arrives and pulls his counterpart elsewhere. Thomas is willing to help and successfully helps Lois give birth to their son. While leaving them content, Thomas then tells Superman that he has to protect the newborn child to which Superman agrees.[13] Following the conclusion of the Convergence, all parallel universes and alternate timelines are restored and composed as the new multiverse, including the Flashpoint reality and thus Thomas remain exist as the result.[14]
DC Rebirth - DeathEdit
Thomas Wayne behind the corpses of his wife Martha and son Bruce Wayne (left) and alongside his son Bruce (right). Cover of Batman #22 (2017); art by Jason Fabok & Tim Sale.
Subsequently, in DC Rebirth, Flashpoint Batman (Thomas Wayne) is mentioned by Wally West in the Batcave from the Speed Force to tell Batman (Bruce Wayne) about Thomas's letter saying how it all started and warned the Flash before the Speed Force pulled Wally away. Before Batman specified, he discovered a mysterious button embedded to the Batcave wall and pryes the button out.[15] Later, Batman and the Flash agree to keep their investigation to themselves until they knew who or what against an impending threat after the evidence of the button from outside force.[16]
While Batman (Bruce Wayne) was still puzzled about the button, its reaction to Psycho-Pirate's mask summons the Flashpoint Batman (Thomas Wayne); his son slowly reaches out a hand to him, only for the Flashpoint Batman to vanish as Batman makes contact. Batman contacted the Flash about the button, but Eobard Thawne attacks Batman in the Batcave while Flash is busy. Thawne nearly kills Batman and destroys Thomas's letter as revenge for Thomas killing Thawne, provoking Batman to try and attack only to be outpaced by Thawne's speed. When Thawne picks up the button, Thawne is briefly teleported away, returning with his entire body mutilated by an impending threat that he vaguely identifies as "God" before he seemingly dies.[17]
After traveling on the Cosmic Treadmill, the Flash and Batman find themselves in the presence of Batman's Flashpoint "counterpart".[18] Prior to their arrival and after the Flash left to undo the events of Flashpoint, Thomas found that the Flashpoint timeline was not erased yet as the Flash intended, and instead was forced to live out the remainder of Aquaman and Wonder Woman's war. Left to ponder in the Batcave, Thomas waited for the joint Atlantean and Amazonian hit squad to arrive so he may sacrifice himself and them with explosives, until he encounters the Flash and Batman. He believes the two are hallucinations until the Flash briefs him on their situation.
Thomas teams up with his son to hold off the Atlantean-Amazonian hit squad to give the Flash time to fix the Cosmic Treadmill. The two Batmen reminisce about their first visit to the cave, and Thomas learns from Batman that he has a grandson. As soon as the Flash finished the repairs, Batman pleads with Thomas to come with him. Despite his desire to be with his son again, Thomas pushes Batman onto the Cosmic Treadmill, imploring the latter to find happiness and be the father to his son that Thomas could never be for him, and to let 'the Batman' die with him. As the Flash and Batman disappear, Thomas is satisfied upon seeing his son alive and accepts his fate; he hopes that Bruce would move on from the past. He throws his explosive trigger away and puts his cowl back on, reminiscing about the inspiring words he gave to Bruce as a child, and jumping into the white void that is erasing the Flashpoint universe with his last words being "We rise".[19]
His Return and Plot for DespairEdit
Despite this, Thomas is later revealed to have survived the attack, appearing in the main timeline in an alliance with Bane; he was first shown appearing alongside the other villains in Arkham Asylum after the failed wedding between Catwoman and his son.[20] His stated goal was to break his son's will as Batman, through methods such as psychically convincing Catwoman to end her relationship with Bruce, so that Bruce would abandon his life as Batman as Thomas wished. Once he judged Bruce to be suitably psychologically broken, he broke into the Batcave, knocked out Alfred, and trapped his son in a nightmarish sequence in Arkham Asylum. Once Bruce escaped, Thomas met him directly with the offer of restoring Martha to life so that they could be a family again, but Bruce rejected this offer, proclaiming that his father failed to understand that his goal as Batman was to hope for the future.[21] Returning to Gotham after apparently defeating his son, Thomas set out to reconstruct the city in his image, using the Psycho-Pirate to convert the city's villains into his enforcers, but Alfred- who Thomas had left mentally free but imprisoned at Wayne Manor as an apparent hostage to prevent retaliation from Batman's allies- informed Thomas that his son was going to destroy him when he finally returned to Gotham.[22] Thomas maintains control using Gotham Girl as his enforcer and the Psycho-Pirate to moderate the villains, issuing orders that any heroes entering Gotham will be expelled while villains would be contained, to the point that Gotham Girl is able to defeat Captain Atom when he tries to confront her.[23]

A Different Kind Of Life: Stephanie Allen
Stephanie Allen (the character who’s on my profile pic, image by sam-and-crystal, and much of her background in inspired by her version of Stephanie in her own AU with a similar concept [note: this AU was inspired by hers]) is the adopted daughter of Barry Allen and Iris West and the biological daughter of Gotham villain Cluemaster.
When Stephanie was young, her father took her to Central City, where he attempted to get away from Batman. However, he underestimated The Flash and was caught within weeks. With no other living or fit family - her mother died in child birth and her uncle Charles is also a villain - she was adopted into the Allen family and soon discovered that her new father, Barry Allen, was The Flash.
After Barry was killed in an event similar to Crisis on Infinite Earths, Stephanie chose not to live with Iris and her adopted siblings in the 30th century, instead living with her cousin, Wally West, the new Flash. Using the same research notes Barry used, she replicated the experiment which gave him his powers and soon became the next Kid Flash. However, it was not meant to be...
When Hunter Zolomon, the second Reverse Flash, made an attempt on Linda Park’s life, causing her to miscarry (Irey and Jai, like in canon, get better), Stephanie attacked the man, but was overwhelmed by him. Using a trick his predecessor taught him, he destabilized her molecules, ending her life...
Until she woke up, facing her adoptive father.
For the next few years, Stephanie and Barry would remain in the Speed Force, the “afterlife” of speedsters and the source of their powers, until they found a way out. Barry and Steph returned to the real world, albeit a few years later (2 for Steph, 6 for Barry).
Barry returned to the 30th century, not wanting to intrude on Wally’s position as The Flash, and Stephanie, discovering that her nephew Bart was the third Kid Flash, took a new hero identity, Slipstream. Nowadays, she is a full time student at Central City University, part time worker at The Flash Museum, and a super hero.
Additional Notes:
Stephanie is gay in this continuity. She is dating Supergirl.
Her costume as Kid Flash is yellow and red, the same as Wally’s, but as Slipstream is the same shade of purple as her Spoiler outfit in the comics.
You don’t even need to ask. Her lightning is purple.
She occasionally visits the 30th century to see her adoptive family, but never stays long.
She gets along with everyone on her team, but best bonds with Tim, Cass, Jaclyn, and Harper. (Note: Jaclyn is a genderbent version of Jason)
She’s currently studying to be a doctor, her inspirations being both her late mother and adoptive grandfather.
