I can’t believe I never posted this here before but Jericho actually took quite a while to get used to having brothers in the house once the Star Trio was born. Until Atlas and Orion he only thought Cass and Varian had girls cause sisters were all he had up to that point. So imagine his surprise when Mama says he doesn’t have three sisters, but one.

Jericho: Just one…? 🥺

Varian: Just one sister. But now you got brothers to play with too!

Jericho: Brothers? 🤨

And Cass shows him two sleeping bundles that look almost identical save for the red and teal stripes in their hair.

Cass: You have two new baby brothers, Jerry.

Jericho: We didn’t order brothers 😑

And for a while Jerry just wanted nothing to do with poor Atlas and Orion. He even hauled them up in his wagon and tried to give them back to the doctor.

But luckily when the star trio was a few months old Jerry finally began to bond with his brothers when they were interested in a very big but also very gross worm he found.

Halo Reloaded: Halsey & Life In The Spartan Program

It's been a minute since I did a simple discussion about things in my AU, so here we go.

Halsey, like in-canon, is a brilliant scientist with a vision for the human-race, but isn't terribly interested in directing said vision; UNLIKE in-canon, Halsey didn't kidnap any of the kids to join her program (and any time I've said 'kidnap,' or any variation thereof, in the any past posts, you can ignore), NOR is the Spartan-Program her idea. The original Orion-Project was created shortly after the start of the Human-Covenant War and fell through not long before the Spartan-II Program/Project Orion-II, which had been around before Halsey's involvement, saw production. Halsey was merely the right woman for the job, and whole idea is ONI's; specifically, Admiral Parangosky's.

Halsey had visited various Outer-Rim planets and discussed with the parents of her future students about the school that they'll be taken to. A real (if VERY clandestine) military-academy that seeks to train these kids into future heroes, NOT SOLDIERS, HEROES, that'll stop The Covenant from destroying humanity; and she eases the parents' minds by telling them that they can see their kids (via video-call, since physical visits are prohibited on the basis that the location of the school is top secret) at anytime they'd like AND their children won't immediately be sent out to war, as training is a long 8-year process (further helped that Halsey, despite being more morally up-right than her canon-self, doesn't feel too good about this herself). John Downes, later designated as John-117, was the only kid she took in that was from Eridanus-II; everyone else came from other planets like Madrigal, Harvest and Jericho. No Flash-Clones or any kidnapping needed!

Basically, it's Ender's Game, that's what this is. These kids weren't taken against their will; it's why all of my Spartans in this AU are so much more well-adjusted than in-canon.

okay so imagine mama jones being a pilot. not only does this make the perfect dynamic (she and jeri can banter over who’s the better pilot) but ALSO.

one of the aus rattling around in my head is: sempiternity home, mama jones lives, jericho jones lives, (possible) laeleth idriltari idraban gilwraeth lives.

this is achieved in the following way:

mama jones and laeleth are BEST FRIENDS growing up. thick as thieves, their families are friends, they were born a few weeks apart. sleepovers every night and yadda yadda yadda.

laeleth goes off to do her thing. mama jones becomes a pilot in the syldrathi army.

she’s really good at it. she shoots down jericho jones

he gets stuck behind enemy lines for at least a year, they fall in love and have two kids

sometime around here mama jones has a fight with laeleth about her relationship with caerson. their friendship falls apart

(this is where it comes off of canon) instead of just jericho leaving with the kids, they both leave, heading for sempiternity. jericho jones convinces a friend to take a position in the senate instead

we spend happy happy time in sempiternity. good stuff.

when the twins are eight, jericho goes off for orion. the catch: he takes mama jones with him

with an additional pilot, they both survive. yayyyy orphanage averted

right after orion, laeleth breaks things off with caerson and comes to find her old friend in sempiternity, where the Unbroken have no sway. yayyy we are friends with Kal now

the Kids still go off for the Academy because they want to change the world or something. if only they knew

the trio has fun for a bit. then syldra goes boom

you can make laeleth leave sempiternity to be on syldra for vacation or something if you like. personally I very much like

the kids go back to sempiternity because kal and mama jones are crushed. ty and scarlett have mixed emotions (i feel like they only visited syldra once because the war was only over for a year at that point?)

kal and mama jones are Crushed. incredibly sorrowful. obviously. but work is work, i guess? anyway the kids go back to the academy

etc etc etc the rest of the events of the series happen but slightly different and when the kids are done they get big hugs. yippee

Written posts could be from fanfics to incorrect quotes of skits that you yourself wrote, the same with art. Tag me when you reblog or make the post, and I’ll reblog it myself.

A panel sweep is a collection of panels of a character with a certain theme, and has a minimum of three panels, for example you could find three panels of Hal Jordan tripping or Bruce Wayne hugging his kids.

His mum picked up his call on the second ring, surprised smile at his call written across her face.

"Tyler, how are you, ooh where are you, how are Saedii and Kaliis?" she rattles off and he scowls.

"What does the name Scarlett Jones mean to you?" he says and she goes silent. His mother has one hell of a poker face, but it seems for once he had shocked her into slack-jawedness.

"What did you just say?" she asks quietly and Tyler raises his eyebrow.

"Scarlett Jones, you know her? About my age, Face with the Aurora Legion and from the brief looking I did on the web, daughter of famous war hero and senator Jericho Jones. Oh, and hey, if she has your voice, that would just be coincidence, right?" he says and her face straightens, but she can't hide the tears forming in her eyes.

"How did you have a conversation with her? The Unbroken aren't exactly big on diplomacy," Corae says instead of answering his question. Tyler says but doesn't say anything as an Unbroken adept walks past him. He turns back to uniglass when they're out of earshot.

"Her and her AL squad are being held in our cells for that massacre near refugee colony 52. Answer the question, is Scarlett Jones having your mannerisms a coincidence or should I be digging in deeper about why you've told me more about my father other than that he died at Orion?" Corae watched him for a beat before sighing.

"It's not a coincidence. I- Scarlett is your twin, but when you looked different at birth, I knew she couldn't stay with us. I- I never thought the two of you would ever meet so I never told you," she says and Tyler clenches his fist.

"Got it," and then before his mother can say more, he hangs up.

Saedii know something is wrong the second he gets back to their chambers. She looks up from a report on her desk and considers him for a beat, before standing and approaching him, her hands quickly brushing over his face and torso, as if checking him for injury.

"What happened?" she asks and he shrugs noncommittally.

"My mother has been lying to me my whole life," he says and Saedii's brow furrows but she waits for him to say more, "I- ugh- do you remember Jericho Jones?" Saedii's face frowns further.

"Yeah, Terran senator, anti-war pioneer, died at Orion, why?" she says and Tyler winces a little.

"He's my father," Tyler says bluntly and Saedii's eyebrows raise in response, "and the Face you dragged in on that AL squad is my sister," he finishes.

"Half-sister?"

"Twin."

"Shit," Saedii says and Tyler nods. "I- you know I can't just let her go free, right?" she asks and Tyler meets her eyes.

"I know. I trust you, Saedii. But her existence compromises my mother's safety with the StarSlayer, so can we please keep this between us?" he pleads, and Saedii considers, before crowding closer to him, wrapping her arms over his shoulder and kissing his cheek.

"I know you know my father is perceptive, but we keep each other safe, always. I'll keep your secrets for as long as you trust me with them, Be'shmai," she assures him and he hugs her tight.

"Thank you," he says and she hums in acknowledgement, not complaining in the slightest when he still doesn't let her go.
