In my humble oppinion, these two fuckers work so well together. They are so different yet they have so many things in common that its annoying. Both are proud and selfish. Both are incredibly stubborn and incredibly thick-headed. Yey also for all thet they have in common the fact that they have auch different personalities is precisely why the match works. I am an avid believer in nation folk polygamy/poliamory but holy shit. François fucks aroumd and by god so does Arthur. But they find their way back to eachother in a manner that is definitely unhealthy to a certain degree. Nobody will understand Arthur the way his enemy/best friend/lover François does. And by extent no one will be the stiff upper lip bastard that gets shit done like Arthur is to François. They just work. These who are my fav old gay homophobes.

As for Rusame:

I see it. I definitely fucking do! I never liked rusame honestly up until maybe a year ago. I just feel like Alfred is this superpower with whom nobody dares to start serious shit with. He's got that dumb air of superiority that all superpower countries do at their peek. That's why I see him as enjoying the interactions he has with Ivan. They can and will hurt eachother, fuck around and do all sorta shit together. But at the end of the day it's the ability to see Ivan as a threat that keeps Alfred interested. In my hc Alfred is shorter and phisicaly weaker than Ivan. And with Alfred being 186 cm and quite the himbo that's saying a lot! Ivan is taller and could bench press Alfred with a medium amount of effort, and by god Alfred likes that! It's hard to keep Alfreds attention and focus on a single person and the drama and quickening heart rate that Ivan gives him is why Alfred keeps coming back.

when you imagine babybat & dadfred, do you see them as any specific movie or comic iteration? or just kind of as a mix? i only just got into batman stuff this year but i really like it so far & i'm interested to know what your favorites are!!

Good question!! I've always been partial to the animated series, so that's mostly where I work from. Bruce is soooo big and soft and huggable in season one, and I love Alfred's design too!! Look at them. I'm hugging and squeezing them.

The comic iterations are cute too!! Love it when they're tiny and small, that's kind of what I based my doodle style on.

Though my favorite Alfred design might be Batman '89, it's just closest to how I draw him. He looks so grandpa (and I looooove Michael Gough's Alfred in the movie, though Efrem Zimbalist from BTAS is always Alfred's voice to me).

And I find the Harley Quinn show's Bruce to be pretty cute too.

But overall, I don't have a concrete visual for them in my head. I consider myself a visual thinker but I can't picture exactly what they look like, it's an amalgamation! Overall though, btas iterations of them will always have my heart :] I actually have a compilation of some of my favorite moments with them on YouTube!!

I just discovered that acording to Scooby Doo and Guess Who? (i'm watching it rn) Daphne is Alfred's niece.

So now together with my Velma and Doctor Crane brotopness I present Daphne and Bruce Wayne cousins dinamic. I also add that Daphne learned her deep martial art skills with both Bruce and Alfred. She had the Robin treinament. She knows Bruce is Batman, but he thinks she doesn't (Alfred knows best).

Now about her relationship with the Robins, I think she would be a bit jealous of Dick and Babs, because before she had her cousin and uncle unlimited atention when visiting, but she soon would became friends with them. She would also baby Jason. I have no idea with Cass, Steph, Damian and Duke tbh.

Oh! And Alfred it's the real creator of the Scooby Snacks but you aren't ready for this conspiracy theory. Also ofc Alfred sends batcookies and just some of his food to the scooby gaang after all they are his beloved niece friends/found family. This means Scooby and Shaggy love him.

Yeah if you've never seen this beautiful cartoon Alfred J Kwak a lot of it is just cool adventures with a duck but it also has plot arcs that confront topics like white supremacy (via ducks and geese), Nazism (via crows), apartheid and the harsh reality that bad things aren't simply done by bad people. The sweetest most normal characters, funny animals you saw as little kids in early episodes, could show up at any moment in later episodes as radicalized agents of fascism entirely convinced they're on the right side, as friendly as ever but now they hope certain people (cartoon animals) will all die.

I think as a society we need to remember Nazis are something specific.

Their ideology is largely the debunked theory that races have inherent qualities (and thus one could objectivly be superior), pan-germanism, and then blended with a bit of American white supremacists.

We know this. It's recorded.

I think we as a society would do a lot better if y'all stopped calling every white supremacist a Nazi because while every Nazi is a white supremacist not every white supremacist is a Nazi.

There are subsets of it and each BIPOC people from every single country on this planet will tell you that white supremacy is there, it might just be a little different for each of us isn't that right? And your white supremacists think they're better than ours don't they; that they're better than Everyone else, aren't they? That their uniquely justified in hating everyone else, yeah?

Language does matter and as the court case goes on and people are really seeing both sides for the first time, we are seeing the very powerful relevance of language.

Let's not be a people that started calling Zionists and especially Jewish Zionists Nazis; not since it was specifically that brand of white supremacy that's responsible for the Holocaust. Zionism isn't Nazism. It's incorrect, antisemitic, and disgusting to say it is. I just didn't know how to articulate why before.

We can denounce white supremacy and white supremacists without being antisemitic. I think using language like that would be better for solidarity worldwide as well, anyway. To link our oppression this way rather than saying it Needs to look a specific way to be valid or count as bigotry to someone else.

The article linked for white supremacy says non-white people can and do believe it in it btw. This is no surprise for a lot of us but some of my haters audience might benefit from knowing that.

So familiarize yourself with it so that at the very least you don't keep saying ignorant things on the internet.
