Ever since the very first time I read Still in Dark, the detail of Zayne being covered in scars from fighting wanderers/abominations has sat so heavy on my heart. Because you know that poor man hasn't been getting any professional medical help. Much like Xavier, he's just riding those injuries out, only unlike Xav, he's not blessed with a body that heals itself with relative ease.

This particular 'moment' is from a fic I'm still formatting in my head, that will hopefully see the light of day soon. His expression is a reflection of your own when you realize just how much he's been through. Our poor little meow meow 😩

My desire to bring this man into my arms and shield him from everything overwhelms me sometimes, and today I sat consumed with the desire to do just that, so instead of doing all my other obligations I did... this. Lol.

So let's talk about anatomy before anyone comes at me for making Rafa "too muscular" lol.

If you've met any swimmer (especially if you've been intimate with any swimmer) you know those bodies hold a LOT of muscle on them, and they're deceptively strong. They also tend to hold very little fat in their core, and build muscle over their shoulders, back, arms, thighs, core/abdominal, and glutes. So when I say Raf would literally have a FANTASTIC full body from the amount of swimming he does (assuming Lemurian bodies have muscles remotely similar to humans, but we have no idea what their musculoskeletal systems are like so I'm just going with a human view for now bc otherwise I'll cry lol) I mean it.

Also, I do not give a flip what anyone says, that man has a beauty mark on his left hip and just off to the side of his right booty cheek 😌 I have canonized it idc idc.

Next up on the "Favorite KNY panel redraw" list is this absolutely bad ass moment. I loved Gyomei the moment I saw him in his training arc, but this panel? This one simply was the nail in the coffin (along with the one where he's taunting Kokushibo but that will be a different redraw lol). I have a bit to fix before I can finish it, but I'm loving where it's going.

AAI3 ideas compilation ❤ *minor spoilers for AAI games and SOJ* The idea was borne from the old "let's stow away in Mr. Edgeworth's suitcase" trick that was brought up in SOJ - made me imagine an AAI3 game where the assistant is Trucy 'cause Edgeworth the goof didn't notice his suitcase suddenly weighted like a whole 30 kilos of child more - Phoenix probably just comes by for the final case. While Phoenix gets on a plane in a panic, Edgeworth also panics because he needs to investigate murders but can't very well leave a 8 year old child by herself. Shenanigans ensue. Kay comes back. Kay and Trucy's shenanigans are Edgeworth's worst nightmare atm, and that's saying a lot. Kay probably figures out who 'that man' is, thanks to Trucy talking about her daddy. All in all Trucy and Edgeworth spending time together while Phoenix isn't there would explain why Trucy is so confortable with him on the plane in SOJ. Gosh I love that scene. When Phoenix finally reaches them Trucy and Edgeworth are so in tune that when Edgeworth figures stuff out, Trucy immediatelly knows and she's prepared to shout Eureka! with him. Phoenix is like...what. And that's how he discovers Edgeworth's Eureka idiosyncrasy. He's also floored by how cute it is. (I know it doesn't exist in the original Japanese but let's ignore that) Also, do you think that maybe the reason Edgeworth doesn't notice 30+ kilos of child is that perhaps he doesn't even lift his suitcase in the first place? And in that case the poor soul that has such a task is obviously Gumshoe. Gumshoe probably thinks it's totally normal for Edgeworth's suitcase to weigh like half his weight. Which, tbh, isn't that farfetched an idea. *also clothes are a bit inconsistent bc I drew them at different points in time ahahah ^^''
