I'm not saying Tim should be Oracle but he should be Oracle like. He should stop being like a front line hero and be a background hero. Help the people that help people, find information, be a cryptic. I mean he started vigilantism because he wanted to help! Why not just let him help more people.

Hey, Barbara Gordon fans upset about the BoP/Harley Quinn Movie

So, I have a theory that Barbara is going to get a cameo or the slightest of references at the end of the Birds of Prey movie (Marvel Style). For those who are going to watch it anyway, will you be more or less upset if at the very end of the movie (or in an after credit sequence or something) they show a computer with the Oracle sign on it or Babs as Batgirl's silhouette. I was thinking about this and personally I think I would be more annoyed for just giving us this crum of Barbara when she should be one of the main characters. Anyways, I would love to hear other people's thoughts on this theory.

So I started watching Gotham because I saw that @ameba-from-space started watching it and I decided to give it a try.

This show. Is way better then I thought it would be! The acting is good, the writing is ok most of the time, the plots make sense, and the characterizations of almost all of the characters are beautiful! The only problem I have with it is the love triangle they have going on with Jim Lee and Barbra, but that’s mainly because I know that Jim and Barbra will get together in the end and have Barbra Gorden as a daughter so it feels weird to invest in Jim and Lee’s relationship because I know it will end, but then the end of season one happened and know I have no clue whats going on with Barbra, to me it seems like the Jason dude brainwashed her a little bit, but who’s to say.

Here are some of my thoughts so far

the speech Jim gave to Baby Bruce in episode one, some of the best writing I have ever witnessed. However wrote that, deserves a medal and a raise

Jim not being a redhead is throwing he a bit, but he still looks like a young Jim Gorden so I can live with it

Watching Baby Bruce and Alfred interact, oh my goodness you can see where adult Bruce gets his everything from! Like, Alfred was having a rough time adjusting to parenthood, and part of that is because he is an emotionally constipated adult that is more stubborn then a mule. Like, in this show, Alfred only becomes the emotionally competent grandpa that we know and love because either a) old age loosens the constipation or b) he had to raise Bruce Wayne and that boy needs to be told outright what someones emotions are towards him or else he will misinterpret them.

Nygma is very clearly on the spectrum and I feel bad for him because he is working in an environment that is not good for his mental health. The climate of the G.C.P.D. is constantly grating against Nygma and however he views the world until it got to the point where he accidentally killed someone and then had a mental break as a result. Not only that, but if he were to go get help as soon as he could he could probably heal from this, but he won’t because he is scared and the cracks in his mind keep getting bigger and soon it will be to late for him to heal.

Baby Bruce is also probably on the spectrum as well as having some form of OCD (fun fact, often times if someone has one mental illness/handicap they could also have others. Many cases of people with some type of OCD are also somewhere on the spectrum). That child has only one friend that is actually his age, all of the other people that he could consider his friends are adults, he has no idea how to interact with people his own age. It is also clear to see that he has always been crazy, and I don’t think this boy would survive losing another loved one.

When we first met Bullock, part of me did not think that I would like him. But a different, wiser part of me knew that eventually I would, because there is this type of character who always starts out as a not nice person who you don’t like but then as time goes on and we learn more about them while they might not be any nicer we still don’t hate them as much, and just about every time I find one of these characters they always end up as one of my favourites. I like to call it the Bakugo effect.

I finished season one last night, I am currently at episode six of season 2, and if Galavan so much as looks at my Baby funny I will break the walls of reality just to hurt him. Do not hurt my Baby!!!

Gotham Street AU

So It was like 2am and my partner and I were sitting there comforting our dog from a thunderstorm when we came up with this idea.

Gotham is just a poor part of town, the biggest house belonging to Bruce who was giving it by his parents when they passed, raised by his adoptive father Alfred. No crime batman persona

Bruce Wayne being a foster parent who also is like the neighborhood dad figure. He adopted dick first, who was a little hellion, throwing things, anger issues, climbing everything, starting issues in the streets and shit. but eventually gets his shit together and graduates, about to go to college when Bruce adopts Jason, who by all accounts is a nerd. dispute the legal paperwork pointing out hes a thief, and even jacked 3 tires of bruces own car. he is the primary time line for the story. He gets to meet all the other kids around. There are the trouble makers of Gotham street, who are the villains. their nicknames are based on those kid idea of making sense of shit and being cruel and stuff. Such as Bruce being called batman, or a vampire cause he seems to never age and appears every time someone needs him but not exactly when they want him, and seems to know everything going on.

the super family live across the freeway at a nicer part of town but are old friends with Bruce and visit occasionally. with the rebellious superboy fitting annoyingly in with the ruffians of Gotham street.

Diana is part of an all female biker gang called the amazons, using bruce as an unpaid babysitter so to have her kid keep from getting in trouble but also allowing for long bike rides.

the speedsters are like middle class, where they arn’t rich by any means but they are better off than most of Gotham street. they are jittery and hard to understand with a faster accent.

the arrow family is like one street over and often visit because roy is a handful and often fits better with bruces trouble makers.

Barbra is like co-custody between Gorden and Bruce as Gorden is busy and often unable to care for her as much as a child needs and Bruce is more than willing to take in more kids. so she has a room and randomly pops in.

steph breaks into the house and ends up living there, no orphanage or legal work involved.

Harley is a child psychologist who Bruce went to college with and often offers new files to Bruce for him to check out.

Tim showed up at bruces door with his file in hand, basically going “adopt me”

cas was like that feral cat that you start feeding than slowly turns into your cat. but with Bruce taking care of her while she lived on the streets until she moved in. she comes and goes as she pleases but eventually gets to go to school and starts learning really fast.

bat women is an out of town relative who loves visiting the kids. while seliena works at the local pet shelter but gets into bad shit sometimes. bruce and her get along wonderfully and the kids don't like her at first. cause you know how kids get when a new parent comes into the picture, it can often be a bit tough.

John Constantine is a college transfer from England who used to go to dicks school but dropped out to help keep drug pushers off of gothams closest schools. but he also helps kids who have already been forced into addiction by gangs and stuff by giving them drugs in exchange for getting them away form those gangs. He’s also how Jason gets his Cig’s but when Bruce finds out john gets his ass kicked, but not turned in. the kids cant quit cold turkey as it could kill them, they are often to scared to ask for adult help and a lot of places are adult only orientated. so to keep them from stealing but also not having them go cold turkey john keeps dealing. being the necessary evil sorta thing. (tough place to be and I know a lot of people will be “Gross!! horrible!!!” but you gotta understand what this sorta thing is like) Jason doesn't like him and they fight occasionally but john still give him the cigs cause he understands that Jason didn't choose to be addicted to the things. Could be a whole thing of john helping wean Jason off them and stuff. with dick confronting john about it after Bruce kicks his ass, and john explaining he did want the kids to go threw what he had to as a younger kid. and that he knew it wasn't a good thing but its all he could think to do.

joker one of those gangsters who are trash drug pushers and shit.

the martians are like out of towners who seem so foreign to the kids they say they are aliens.

OH and Damian being bruces biological kid, but unknowing why every time his mom shows up the cops are called. like Bruce tries to keep is secret about all her toxic traits. and she is always seeming to be super nice to Damian when she visits. but when Bruce catches her, he doesn't say anything in front of Damian but calls the cops and shit. so like its the thing where the kids know something up but not what exactly. but that Bruce has custody.

(i didn’t put duke or any of the other bat family you might be able to think of as I don't know their character arc that well and didn't want to accidentally be insulting or something like that so feel free to add them too!! )

this is what we got so far. I would love to see this idea explode.

DICK GRAYSON’S PUPPERS

ACE: ace is a german shepperd that alfred brought into the family, believing he could change the rabid animals ways. dick wasn’t ALLOWED anywhere near the dog while he went through his training, something the ten year old didn’t like at all. a year after adopting the dog, he became the best friend a boy could ever have. he became a best friend and eventually, a wonderful sidekick to the dynamic duo.

DAISY: daisy is a beautiful golden retriever that barbra gorden and dick adopt. they adopt her a few months after they move into their first home. the puppy of nine months old quickly became their baby girl and a major part of their little family. daisy is only present in dick’s verse where he and barbra are a couple.

CLOUD: the team believed the answer to dick’s problems was a dog. a new, loyal, and loving compainion he could call his own. dick protested greatly, seeing his self destroying habits could be passed on to said dog and he didn’t want that. the team insisted and they succeeded. it’s seven months after wally’s death that he adopts a samoyed he appropriately names cloud. she’s a hyper fluff ball with a lot of personality and dick’s family absolutely loves her.
