Wedding post part 2! The ceremony!

Crow fidgeted nervously as he awaited his beautiul bride's arrival. It all felt so embarrassing. He wasn't used to so many eyes on him at once. His claws snagged slightly in the lace of his tunic as he anxiously fussed with the hem. He almost missed the guests standing to watch Moon's entrance, but once the harp's first chord rang out, he snapped up to attention.

As soon as he laid eyes on her his anxiety melted into a smile that threatened to tear away his cheek stitching.

Her hair was shining brilliantly in the dappled sunlight, and he could already smell the fresh picked herbs in her hair and bouquet from the other end of the aisle. As she approached, the lovely scent enveloped him and he felt so safe it was as if the crowd had disappeared around them. They sang their vows as their hands were tied with a soft lace. It was only when everyone cheered that Crow remembered they were watching. But she was here with him now and that made all the difference.

And the first dance!

Moon couldn't tear her eyes away from husband as they glided across the dance floor. She loved the way it felt to call him that. Her sweet, loving, beautiful husband. Neither of them would be alone again. They vowed to stay by the other's side as much as possible.

She felt like they were the only two in the world; like they were dancing on a perfect cloud just for them. Crow's strong arms held her close, claws catching in her long hair. It was only when the chandelier came into view that she realized she truly had created a magic cloud under their feet. They giggled to themselves as it drifted them around the room full of loved ones. The guests applauded and hollered at the lovely display. Some of them threw their own magic into the air, adding lovely sparkles and swirls of color to the atmosphere. It would be quite the night to remember.

It took me a bit to figure it out, but here are my current ten favourite movies (in no alphabetical order):

Das Boot (1981): What can I say, I just love this movie! The acting and the cinematoghrapy get me every time.

Crimson Peak (2015): I originally watched it because of Tom Hiddleston, but absolutely fell in love with the story, costumes and setting!

Dune (1984): I watched this one because of Jürgen Prochnow, and even though the special effects are very eighties, I loved the movie! The storyline is lengthy, but I liked it nevertheless!

Dunkirk (2017): My cousins took me to see this movie in the cinema, and I had genuinely no idea what I was going into, but the cinematography and acting left me absolutely speechless. Not to forget about Hans Zimmers music, absolutely incredible.

Knives out (2020): This is one of the few movies I have watched several times for the pure enjoyment of it. The movie is so odd and funny at the same time, the acting is immaculate and the attention to detail knocks me off my feet every time. Such a good movie!

The Lodger (1927): My first silent movie ever! I watched it without expecting much and was blown away. It was scary and beautiul without relying on the effects we use in modern thriller. Huge fan.

Napola (2004): This was recommended to me by several people, and after watching it I definitely understand why! While the ending absolutely broke my heart, I loved the movie nevertheless.

Parasite (2019): I gave into the hype with this one and watched it, and what can I say. I was complete and utterly disturbed! Really well done horror, huge kudos to the author!

The Professor (2018): I saw this movie for cheap at a store and bought it because I grew up watching Johnny Depp in PotC. Had no real idea what to expect, but was absolutely fascinated by the movie. So sad and funny at the same time, overall a rounded, good movie.

A Room with a View (1985): My mother insisted on showing me this movie, and while I usually do not enjoy love stories at all, I did like this movie. Probably mainly because it has Rubert Graves an Helena Bonham Carter, but nevertheless I enjoyed watching it.

𝗞𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴

We arrived in Kaysersberg on a beautiful sunny morning. The bright sunshine made this fascinating town looked even more like a fantasy.

We passed by the quiet beautiul houses of the locals before reaching the center of the town.

The colorful buildings are all similar to Colmar’s, with window and balcony flower boxes and just, oh so charming!

Aren’t they pretty?

We had our lunch in...I believe one of the cheapest restaurants. It was already lunch time and most of the restaurants were fully booked. We were so hungry that we just got in to a restaurant that can accommodate us and feed our growling tummies シ

We ordered the specialty of Alsace region, which is the “Tarte Flambée” with smoked salmons.

Then we had some ice cream while continuously strolling our own version of “fantasy land” ヅ

Happy ☻

And finally, we checked out some souvenirs before leaving the town. But we ended up not buying anything.

When the sky was turning gray and a quiet rain started to pour, we headed to Riquewihr so not to waste the day.

Bleeding Through: A Darkiplier Theory

I know I’ve talked about Dark a lot lately and it’s probably getting annoying at this point but there’s one idea I’ve had that I think really ties him all together.

Dark isn’t a person at all. That’s clear enough from what we saw in WKM.

Well then, what is he? I can already imagine some of you asking. Here’s what I’m thinking:

He is not a demon, or phantom, or paranormal entity of any kind.

Darkiplier is an anomaly. He is something that was never meant to exist, the result of an accident that was never supposed to happen.

I say this because as much as I love him as a character, he is not something that reality accepts. There’s a harsh ringing behind his voice at all times, his shape shatters and his colors shift, and our view of him continually breaks over and over again– because his own presence breaks our perception of “reality” itself, and the darkness inside of him rips away any goodness that might be left.

And this concept was demonstrated to us in a beautiul, tragic way.

You might be wondering why I put “reality” in quotation marks… I did it because every place we’ve ever seen Darkiplier is NOT our true reality. (Unless, somehow, he has visited you in person, which I highly doubt.)

Here’s what I mean:

Mark himself said that he “exists in another world entirely and bleeds through into this one”. And we’ve basically all adopted the terminology of “bleeding through” as his way of hopping from reality to reality, timeline to timeline– but now I’m thinking that isn’t entirely correct.

He does not “universe-hop” in any way, shape, or form. He does not insert himself into other realities at all.

Like Mark said… he bleeds. He doesn’t enter other universes, he interferes with them. And while he physically cannot reach our own world, he’s found a way to get close to it.

He does it by interfering with videos.

Since Dark can’t fully reach this world on his own, it makes sense that he’d try to speak to us directly in the only way he knows how– by interfering with Mark’s videos and altering them so that his message gets across to us.

And he caters to the audience, too. In ADWM, he offered us dinner because he assumed that’s what the viewer was looking for– romance.

In videos like Don’t Move, he appealed to those looking for horror.

Even in Don’t Play This Game, he went for the Let’s Play enthusiasts, if only leaving a brief message in Zalgo for them to find in the subtitles.

This, I think, is what Dark’s “bleeding through” really looks like.

Let me make one more thing clear:

The quote from Mark says “he exists in another world entirely and bleeds through into this one”.

Key word: ONE.

Dark does not bleed through to any other “universes” (i.e. ADWM)… he bleeds through into ours by interfering and putting himself into those videos.

This becomes an intriguing perspective when it comes to WKM. Teamiplier themselves said that the original plan was to essentially be a normal whodunit/Clue murder mystery– and when I watched the first chapter, that’s all I thought it was going to be. But as the chapters progressed, the presence of the “dark forces” around the house became more and more clear…

This next thought very likely isn’t canon in any way, but it’s something that caught my attention:

What if that progression of the “dark forces in the house” from chapter to chapter was Darkiplier working his way into the videos again?

If that were true… would that mean Dark’s interference directly caused the Colonel’s madness and eventual existence of Warfstache himself?

And… would the mirror be symbolic of how close he’s really getting to our reality– telling us that the pathway is almost open to him, but not 100%?

Would he be upset that his efforts weren’t enough to finally break through?

Again, this likely isn’t canon in any way, and I’m fully aware of that– but if it were those wonderful few weeks between the finale and the livestream where Mark explained everything, I would totally headcanon this concept.

Thanks for sticking through with me to the end of this long-ass post! I have a TON of drafts of theories that I’m kinda self-conscious about posting that talk about some other thoughts I’ve had and I’ll hopefully be sharing them soon :3

But in the meantime… remember, that’s JUST a theory– A LAME THEORY!

Yes, I’m aware some of you may not find my theories “lame” at all, and that means a lot to me, but it’s become a habit to put that at the end of them because A) I don’t have a lot of self-confidence and B) I love Game Theory but can’t really call my theories “game” theories.
