Surviving on Boba Tea: A Programmer's Dilemma

As you guys may know, I am a computer programmer.

I spend most of my day staring at a screen, typing away at my keyboard. It's a demanding job, and I must be at the top of my game to deliver quality code. But there's one thing that's been bothering me lately, and that's my colleague's obsession with boba tea.

Every day, without fail, he walks into the office with a large cup of boba tea. I can't help but roll my eyes as he slurps away at his drink while we're in the middle of a team meeting. It's not just the noise that bothers me, it's the fact that he seems to be drinking boba tea for every meal!

I can't help but wonder how he can survive on such a diet. I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoy a boba tea every now and then, but to have it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? That's just ridiculous.

And it's not just any boba tea either, he's always got these colorful balls floating in his drink. I later found out that they were called "popping boba". I couldn't believe it when I heard him talking to someone about how to make popping boba. I mean, seriously? Is that what he spends his time doing outside of work?

To add insult to injury, he even started bringing in bags of popping boba to the office. Apparently, he found a place that sells popping boba wholesale, and he's been buying them in bulk. I can't even begin to imagine how much he's spending on those things.

I've tried to ignore his boba tea obsession, but it's starting to become a distraction. I mean, how can I concentrate on coding when all I can hear is the sound of his straw sucking up the popping boba? It's driving me crazy!

I've even tried talking to him about it, but he just brushes me off and tells me that I should try it sometime. But I don't want to try it! I don't want to be part of his boba tea cult.

I wish he would just realize that his obsession is affecting those around him. We're supposed to be a team, and we need to be focused on our work. We can't be distracted by his constant slurping and popping.

In the end, I know that I need to learn to deal with it. Maybe I should invest in some noise-canceling headphones or something. Or maybe I should just try to find a way to tune out the sound of the popping boba.

As much as it bothers me, I have to admit, I am curious about how to make popping boba. Maybe I'll do some research on it when I get home tonight. Who knows, maybe I'll even try making it myself. But I'll make sure not to bring it into the office and subject my colleagues to the same torture.

In the meantime, I'll just have to learn to live with my colleague's boba tea obsession. I just hope that he doesn't find any new flavors of popping boba to try out. I don't think I can handle any more distractions.
