#im too depressed to even watch tv #for like the past two months #i sit here for hours doing nothing and then i go to bed #and then i do more of nothing #the only thing i do is go to work #literally ever at all #unless my dad decides to buy me alcohol #or i just get high in my room #but when i cant even watch tv i dont even want to get high #because i dont know what to do with myself #and i havent been drinking since new years anyway #i am actively trting to change that #but like its even worse now #cause im on prednisone for my lamictal rash #which ismaking me really like on edge and restless #so i cant even go to sleep even though im tired #cause its pointless #i have litereally been sitting here for hours not done a thing #not reading not watching anything not scrolling apps #just staring at my computer waiting for something to change #and its not going to #and like the root of it all is that im severely depressed #and want to die #but my medication keeps me on just the right side of not killing myself #so i havent #but i WANT to die #because there is not a single positive in my life right now #but instead i just sit here #and wonder when it ends #and if theres any doctor or medication that could actualyl help me

Alice has been in the studio for a very long time so It wouldnt be surprising is she came across some ghosts

However it wasnt until she saw you interacting with a faulty projector that got her interest piqued

She cant do anything to you and dosnt see you as a threat,so shes relatively passive around you

As long as you dont pop up when shes doing something important than she dosnt mind your presence

She tells pity for you after finding out you. Cant interact with anything that isn't electronic/mechanical

You can also interact with lights etc

Sometimes you both scare intruders together,whilst you flicker the lights she scares the living daylight out of them

She adores having soft moments with you

Since you can fuck around with the projectors you have alot of movie dates

Poppy

Poppy also inhabits a place where ghost sightings probally arnt irregular

After the factory is abandoned and she's freed she finds many strange things happening

Like seeing you messing around in a room full of electronics,you made a boogie bot play never gonna give you up,a old computer blue screen,and currently screwing with an old peice of machinery

You give her alot of company,considering that fact your the ghost who's stayed around her the longest and she cant risk any of the other toys due to some obvious things.

She likes to watch you mess with electrical equipment in Hope's she can find out how you can do it

You sometimes possess a inactive boogie bot to stroll with her and talk,this way it gives you a somewhat solid form

It's also the only way she can interact with you when doing things like holding hand or hugging

Bendy

Since the studio is his realm theres not a very high chance he wouldnt know about the presence of a ghost

The first time he saw you he did try to attack you,no ghosts can interact with the electronics and machinery,so why can you?

Hes very confused and watches you from a far the majority of the time

If you leave a movie playing on a discarded projector he'll watch it through

Bendy at first dosnt want to approach you as he thinks that if he grows to bond and "like" you then he will become weak

Once eventually talking to you thought it's not to bad,its just the initial meeting goes horribly

Hes very rude at the start throwing insults or trying to bring you down,like you arnt already dead🙄

But once getting past that it's all good

He dosnt need to protect you because your dead so its 1 less problem for him

He likes watching short films or horros,he cant sit still for extremly long movies,he prefers it short and action packed.

He likes giving you different things around the studio to see what you can and cant manipulate

Nightmare chica

She trys to hunt kids and kill them,so ghosts are expected

She dosnt expect to see you messing around with CCs toys and making him cry,she hadnt even attacked yet

You dislike her apon first meeting,you played with the toys to scare the child not kill him,these animatronics were doing the opposite of what you were

After learning their intentions you mess with stuff around the house,one time accidentally waking up the parents

You eventually talk it out,but that's only after a loooonnnnngggg time of back and forth

She will ask on the odd occasion if you can help scare the kid,whether you do or not is up to you though

Will watch TV with u if theres a good program on etc

You can prank the other nightmares by controlling them to,works 9/10

If you can take on a terrifying form she will 200% ask you to scare kids with it,and to just show her in general

You both make cupcakes together and she eats them,how?🤷‍♀️

Marionette/puppet

Shes dealt with souls/ghosts before but has never seen one that can manipulate electronics

Shes very intrigued

Due to her usually calm nature you both get along amazingly

Sometimes you play a prank ok the guard and make the prize corners camera go staticy,good luck nightguard

If she finds a spare suit shell ask you if you want to possess it

You like to mess around with the lights during and show and even one time made Toy Bonnie's guitar go out of tune,the show that he played later didnt go very well

You fuck around with the night guards monitor and camera alot,sometimes even turning off the office lights

Marionette likes to give little gifts to you and even has a little corner in her box designated for you

After hours hanging out

I don't know if you already posted about this but I want advice :D

I'm studying the equivalent to High School in my country (two years only) and I'm trying to strive more. Lately I have realised that I never have free time. I spend the afternoons studying, then I have dinner with my parents, watch something on TV, go to sleep and at those hours I'm so tired that I don't have the energy to do anything else I enjoy. Meanwhile, I see my friends and others at my class going out, going to extracurriculars, getting things done faster...

I've always had the feeling that I only do the things I like during summer break.

I can't help but wonder how am I gonna do when I'm in collage (if I actually get there)!

I would like to ask you if you had any advice, or tips about managing time etc

Hii, sorry it took me so long to answer! From what I heard, it sounds like so kind of burnout. I'm no expert on this topic, so I'm going to leave the links of the sources just in case! (x) (x)

One of main components it's exhaustation. Feeling tired all the time and having no energy. Not only it impacts the mental and physicial health, but the perfomance. This usually stems of being always "on", overwork culture/mentality, pressure (whether internal or external) and the dislike of the tasks. What I recommend is:

Actually rest. Do activities that make mentally rest or dont do any activity, just take some time for yourself. Listen to your favourite music, take a bath, do some breathing exercise. Relax. Here are some more mental rest activities.

Dont beat yourself for resting. A lot of times, we "rest" but it isnt actually rest, because instead of focusing on yourself you are worrying about not doing anything productive 24/7. That looks like rest, but it isnt, it is just more tiring. All the toxic productivity mentality has to go.

Schedule time to do nothing. Establish clear moments for resting.

Take breaks.

Prioritaze tasks. Yes, we all want to have everything done perfectly and complete, but sometimes that is just impossible. The best way to classify them in order is 1) urgent and important; 2) not urgent but important; 3) urgent but no important; and 4) not urgent not important.

Have a good sleep schedule.

Drink water and eat all your meals

Find a hobbie or something you are passionate or at least midly interested on. Something that fills you with joy and seek to. At the beggining it will feel like a waste of time, but once you find something, well, let's just say, try it.

Another thing is the mindset. Negative thinking is unmotivating and tiring. Switching to a more possitive mentality does wonders.There are a lot of ways to reframe negative thoughts, I'm not familiar with most of them so I cant really explain, but here is an article that explains on detail how to do it.

Even though exhaustation and mentality are key to feeling burn out, inefficiency also has an important role. There are millions of study methods, but not a single one works for every person. Maybe you use a "good" study technique, but it isnt the right one for you. I'd recommend trying new ways of studying you havent tried before, see if at least one works for you. I'm going to honest with you, I dont know a lot of methods, since i found the one that works with me I havent tried new ways, here is a list of study methods with explanations that I'm using to draft future posts. Here are the links for the posts are posted about blurting, feynman and pq4r, if any of those sound helpful.

SELF CARE!!!!! Self-care is so important. It's been a common theme in this post, but I will repeat it once more, take care of yourself.

If these are also helpful, I'll leave the links for previous posts about motivation to start, motivation in general, and a reward system for motivation. Not all the tips in those posts will work, actually, some of them may contradict with what I just said, but I posted them with a different situation in mind. Take the tips that will help you and ignore the ones you think will just make it worse.

Ghost/Soap

Ghost wakes up first, after the longest sleep he had in months, years if high on pain meds in medical dosent count. Its warm, really warm and it can't be the sun because its cloudy. He looks at Soap and nearly pushes the Scot out of bed. If it would be possible. Soaps limbs sling around him like a fucking octopus, ironically on the tv is a octopus or sea animal documentary running. He try to remove one of Soaps arm from him what only leads the scot to cling more on to Ghost. "Fucking hell, Johnny", Ghost complains under his breath, really inconvenient. Soap moves in his sleep and Ghost thinks he's moving away from him but it's the opposite. Soap basicly rolls on to him their legs so intwinded that Ghost has no i dea how rto even untangle them. He should never have given Soap special treatment in the first place. And still the cold in his bones is gone melted away by the clingy scot. With no other choice but to stay in bed Ghost watches the TV seeing how the octopus is using a coconut as a mobile hide, atleast he will not get bored till Soap wakes up. Nobody has to know he is not waking Soap up to kick him finally out. He's in trouble and Soap will still get special treatment.

Soap wakes up 2 hours later to someone talking. He's memories are fuzzy, his head arching, hungover as fuck. He trys to figure out what happend after his 6th drink. He remebers a taxi ride back to the hotel with Gaz, Price and Laswell. He rembers Price making sure he gets into his room. After this thinks are still fuzzy. "Yes, of course, will be ready by then", the voice says then humming a few times. The person must be on a phone call. He burrys his face more in to the pillow , a very firm pillow that is moving? His brain is slowly putting one and one together. A person on a phone call, his 'pillow' moving he must be with someone else in his hotel room. "Soap you're awake?", the voice, the very familiar voice is asking him. Ghost, he's in the same bed with Ghost oh fuck what did drunk Soap do and think. Probably something really dumb. "Aye", he says not wanting to move. "Our plane goes in 3 hour, we meet in the lobby in 40", Ghost simply informs him, as if Soap being in bed with him is normal. He was likely on the phone with Price Soap puts things together. Soap makes incoherent noice of protest, to much rest sleep in his brain to move, trying to get the moment as long as he can. He dont want to leave bed yet, likes beeing so close to Ghost. "C'mon Sergeant you need to get ready", Ghost says a lot firmer, while he trys to shove Soap off of him. "Is that an order Lt?", Soap ask sleepy, clinging more to the taller man. He hears Ghost huff amused. "It can become one. You have your key card?", Ghost ask and Soap is making a confused sound why did he need his key card in his room? Some pieces of yesterday return to him. Hes standing in front of Ghost door. Oh fucking hell, what did he do? He rolls of Ghost, strugels a bit to get his legs free, thanks fuck he's still fully dressed and drunk Soap did not forget the key card. "35 minutes you better hurry up." "Did we? Ehh..." god he cant even ask, but he needs to now, he wants to know what they did yesterday. "We just watched TV, till you fall asleep right after you reassured me that you're not about to fall asleep a few." Well if thats the worst he did, Soap can live with it. "Ah, sorry for ehh.. I should go for a quick shower...", Soap stammers before rolling out of bed like a walrus of a ice floe. "See you in 30 Sergeant.", Ghost just says getting out of bed himself. When he walks out Ghost room he runs straight in to Gaz. "Having a walk of shame?", Gaz snikers amsued. "Ah shut up Gaz", Soap hisses, his cheeks burning hot is not helping. With out looking any further at Gaz he is disappearing in his room. He looks at his own phone having several missed calls and giving Price a life signal before he rushes in to he bathroom for a much needed shower. He somehow gets ready in record time and of course he mets Gaz in the elevator again. He's sure Gaz waited for him to ask more questions. "So?", Gaz ask clearly referring to earlier. "Could not sleep watched TV with the Lt." Gaz looks at him as if he trys to fool him. "You watched TV with Ghost?" "Yes." Gaz is squinting his eyes unsure if he believes Soap or not. "God Gaz, as if Ghost would do something like this to risk his career", Soap hisses when they step out in the lobby seeing Ghost and Price talk. "Sergeants", Price greats them look lingering a bit longer in Soap Ghost just nods shortly before ignoring them. Does Price know? Did Ghost tell him? Shit it's not like anything happened besides him clinging to Ghost like a koala to a tree and then used Ghost as his personal pillow. God he really did something. And Ghost didn't even wore his mask and he didn't got a good second look. Oh shit no he will not under any circumstances fall for his embarrassing teenage crush again. No, he's an adult now, he is just admiring Ghost skill and not having his 17 years old dream come true, he's his CO now anyway so he's of limits not to forget according to Tommy Ghost is not even in to guys. So no need to get some teenager hopes up, he probably also should apologise to Ghost later.

Ghost is the first in the lobby waiting for the others, Price is the first one to come down. "Ghost, you now why I couldn't reach Soap but he still knew he had 30 minutes to get ready?", Price ask him suspiciously. "He couldn't sleep, we watched TV", Ghost tells the truth clipped. Price raises a eyebrow. "Well I'm pretty sure that I made sure that Soap ended up in his OWN room", Price conters agitated. "Yeah and he very drunk called me and said he's in front of my door." "And you let him in your room?", Price ask suprised. "What's that really about Price?", Ghost ask hating this tip toeing around the topic. "Heared Gaz ask Soap if he has his walk of shame." Ghost is glad is mask because his face is dropping in utter shock. "So nothing happened?", Price ask stern needig the conformation for his own piece of mind and because it would mean no paper work. "What the fuck Price, you know i would never especially when someone is as drunk as Soap was. And never with a subordinate", Ghost hisses having trouble to keep his voice down now in his anger. "It's not about you it's about how Soap looked at your face when you revealed it", Price hisses clearly getting pissed by Ghost attitude. "Soap and I meet before Al Mazrah. He was friends with Tommy when I just enlisted", Ghost explains equally pissed hating he has to reveal part of his past. Price eyes widen in suprise of this answer. "I oh, does he know?", Price ask referring to the death of his family. "No. Told him we don't talk anymore.", Ghost answers making Price look at him as if he had two heads now. "Thats defently a way to say Tommy died", Price sighs shaking his head. "Could not tell him that on the flight here. Could I?", Ghost hisses angry. "You should tell him, Soap will probably look it up when we are back at home base." "Was that all Captain?", Ghost ask hopeing their talk is over. Soap and Gaz are leaving the elevator getting closer. "The rest can wait till we are back." Ghost hate how this sounds but stays silent as the Sergeants are closing in. He has the feeling he gets a alcohol and cigare therapy sasion with Price as soon as they touch britisch soil.

Soap sits next to Gaz in the flight back. Needing all his metal energy to just look at the wall in front of him. Ghost sits in a dark spot in the plane only his silhouette to see. Soap also feels how Price is looking at him from time to time. Did he fuck up, with ending up in Ghost room? According to Ghost nothing happend and he also didn't feel any arches that would make him think other wise. It's not like Price can see through walls and saw them cuddel. So maybe he didn't fuck up, to bad. Gaz gives him meaningful glances from time to time and its annoying but he dont want to talk about it in a fucking plane, because he is probably about to lose his shit. Jesus fucking Christ it can't be that bad now can it? Why ate they all looking him, its drives him nuts. They dont thing that, he tryed to get in Ghost pants right? They are not wrong, but he cant be that obvious. Right? right! "You good Soap?", Gaz asks him. "Yes", Soap lies, nothing is good. He has a crush on his coamding officer and everyone fucking knows. "Don't worry about it, Price does not look like hes ready to rip you a new one." "Thanks Gaz." "Sorry for putting you in this postion, Price overheared me asking you about your walk of shame." "It was not a walk of shame." Gaz gets a bit closer wispering in Soaps ear: "Sorry i assumed, but you look at Ghost face all doe eyed in the safe house." "I meet Ghost when he was still Simon Riley. Did thought i would see the big brother of a friend in fucking Las Almas", Soap hisses their talk catching the attention from Ghost. "What, spill", Gaz says very intressted. "Meet at a illegal rave." "Are you trying to fuel me? Cant imagin Ghost at a fuckign rave", Gaz says in disbelief, he really trys to imagin a younger ghost at a rave. He even imagin him with his stupid skull mask, it feels wrong, broding Ghost at a colorfull rave waving glow sticks and dancing. "Was not his scene back then either, but he he was there with his brother." Soap explains with out getting in anymore details. Unknow to them Ghost is silently aproaching them to put a stop to waht ever Soap is sharing. "I think you broke my brain Soap. Cant even imagin Ghost in a normal club, let alone a rave", Gaz hisses. "I never saw him dance, cant imagin him enjoying being on the dancefloor." "You two finish gossiping?", Ghost asks them not liking Soap talking about his past, making the Sergeants flinch and knock their heads together. "Yes", they answer in unison and Ghost walks back in the shadows.

are you named after anyone? not technically, ive asked my parents multiple times about How they came up with me and my siblings names, but they just. didnt think very hard about it. fjkdlsjfdlas. but in a way im named after my mom, because me and saturns given names start with the same letter as our moms; my younger siblings names start with the same letter as our dads. i guess me and saturn could also be named for one of my dads uncles?? our names mixed make that uncles name. but idk im not willing to believe my dad cares that much about Anyone in his family to honor their memory through our names lawl

when was the last time you cried? i think the other day watching atla, when zuko and iroh reunite before the final battle. zuko trying to stumble through an apology and thinking iroh must hate him, but iroh just without even saying anything grabbing zuko and pulling him into a tight and tearful hug... man ;_;

do you have kids? HELL NO!!!!! im barely halfway through my 20s i should be at the club. dont want kids, never wanted kids, will never want kids. i will tolerate being my nieces and nephews cool auncle when my siblings start having kids of their own, and No More, thanks

what sports do you play? i dont play any sports anymore, but up until high school i played softball. i was pretty good i think! pitcher and second base. also in middle/high school i was a baton twirler for band and i guess dance competitions (i have Never thought of it as 'dance' but i guess technically i was dancing... blegh), and im gonna count that as a sport. any activity with the possibility and probability of being hit on the head by a metal rod counts as a sport to me

what’s the first thing you notice about people? probably their height. most people are taller than me but i will make an immediate note of people who are Shorter than me

what’s your eye color? grrrreen gray? i spent a few minutes staring at my eyes trying to figure out the color but all i did was strain my eyes jfldks

scary movies or happy endings? hmmmmmm i love both. i like blood and gore and guts and evil, but i also like heartwarming fluff where everything works out. i cant decide!! it just depends on my mood hehe

any special talents? i hesitate to claim i have perfect pitch because it sounds self congratulatory, but im pretty sure i have perfect pitch lmao. i cant Identify notes by name but i can recreate pretty much any note i hear, as long as its in my range. im not a good singer though lawl i dont have the technique. in the same vein, i can recreate other noises i hear pretty well, like i taught myself how to do the perry the platypus clicking sound Thing he does just by listening to it

where were you born? texas born and raised! everyone i knew growing up was a redneck or a 'cowboy church' christian

what are your hobbies? drawing, writing fanfic oneshots or rps with friends, bideo games, rewatching the same handful of tv shows and letsplays and video essays over and over again

do you have any pets? my son, my sweet bubby, apollo :> my stupid little man, hes gonna be 3 this year i think! flame point siamese kitty, dumb as rocks, currently i think hes burrowed in the sheets on my bed taking a nappy

how tall are you? 5'2", but add a couple inches because i almost exclusively wear shoes that add height, like my Big Dyke Boots i wear every day hehe

favorite subject in school? any of my electives probably, like art and music/band. in college my favorite classes i ever took were film appreciation, screenwriting, and theatre directing (which i signed up for thinking it was film directing, but it was still so fun and interesting)

dream job? honestly?? i think anything on the set of a movie or tv show would be awesome. maybe creative consultant, so that i can interject my own ideas into other peoples projects. i tend to feel my most creative when im working Around other peoples ideas tbh. all that, or lead writer/director on my own tv show/movie/video game, if i ever feel like i can handle that pressure

-it's hard to keep scar entertained for long but grian has cared for him for so long that the little's short attention span doesnt phase him anymore and grian always finds another way to grab his attention again

-when he regresses he's surprisingly chill in contrast from how he acts when big

-he chews on EVERYTHING! no emf reader is safe!

-he doesnt talk much when little and uses communication cards attached to a lanyard with parrots on it

-he loves listening to music the most, especially game osts and he stims to them vocally and physically

-when he's regresses, at first, he's very shy and embarrassed. he feels he shouldnt regress since he caregives so much. but once he's reassured and calms down, he is chaos incarnate.

-he loves playing pretend and just running around in general. and since he works out, he's got a lot of stamina; it takes hours to get him to calm down for a nap or for bed

-he doesn't have trouble with "i dont wamna go to bed" bu he's so energetic that he cant sit still long enough to fall asleep for bed/a nap. skizz has to carefully plan ways for him to waste his energy than lull him to bed with a warm drink and tons of blankets and cuddles. skizz has gotten pretty good at it

-he loooooves playdates, especially with gem bc she's the only one who can keep up with his energy levels

-he's an expert at comfy clothes! wanting or changing into comfy clothes is a big giveaway that he's regressed/regressing

-he gives everyone nicknames and everyone has a nickname for when their big, small, or caring

-his favorite item is a cow rattle he had when he was physically little

-she also loves coloring! she could color for hours! but skizz makes sure she takes plenty of breaks

Favorite Holidays: Christmas and Halloween. even tho i find it harder to feel the holiday spirit up until the very last minute i love christmas so much. and not even to be corny but its true that when you grow up you start to care less about the presents and more about the memories with family and friends.

BUT im planning on maybe doing a series which is just a collection of one shots of them in HS? OR i plan on doing a multi-chapter shorter story that is an AU that also takes place in a high school setting but with a twist that i dont want to reveal bc that would mean i would have to commit to it. lol

Currently Reading: nothing. unless you count all these articles/research papers I've been reading for my health research studies course (think i aced the exam yesterday so maybe all the pain was worth it)

Last Thing Researched for Art/Writing/Hyperfixation: doesnt really count as research but basically i was on pinterest creating boards for 3 different fics. was researching wedding dresses for a nat & syd fic where they go wedding dress shopping (will be finishing after my last exam). also just creating two other boards to inspire myself to start the au i teased above and my bones and all AU/retelling i talked about last month. i want to watch some more cannibalism media and maybe research about 80s pop culture and politics before i dive into that one fully.

I watched it when It was coming out on tv and have been rewatching it for the past couple months very slowwwllllyyyy. Shshsbbdd

Anyway I'm just getting nna ramble my analysis in your direction.

Starting with Mikey! Par tof the reason people sorta cling to Mikey I think is cuz like, splinter sorta ignores him.

It's this sorta odd thing going on where we have scenes like splinter telling Donnie to act more like Mikey cuz he's thinking to much and it's impeding his abilities cuz he's overthinking. Which, is an attempt to address Donnie's anxiety albeit in not the best way but it sorta worked?

Which means splinter is acknowledging mikeys fighting prowess. And that Mikey not thinking to hard and just doing is a good skill to be able to execute.

But ALSO, we get a scene of when the boys first got their weapons, and splinter tells everyone why they're getting what weapon, and why they'll enjoy it. Except Mikey. Mikey just gets nunchucks. Which, is dead ass the hardest weapon to wield there so what the fuck dude?

And Mikey is, so fuckin smart. His brain just in Canon goes too fast for him to remember words and shit. He's so adhd frfr

But Leo is dead ass the golden child. Like, everyone asked to be leader, cuz they are teen boys, but splints chose Leo cuz "he asked for it" and then instills all his ideals in him! He's treated like he's the best at everything and is expected to be the best at everything AND to care for his brothers. And he can only feels like he doesn't really have a life. Which leads into the whole Leo develops a crush on his half sister while not knowing she's his half sister nonsense.

Donnie is just, he's the smart one. He's stressed all the time, but also a. Fucking simp who is never reprimanded by his dad for how he treats april, which he really should be! Having mindmap of every possible way an interaction could go with her is creepy! And literally stalking her!!!! Donnie's also the one who deals with Timothy and he gets in trouble for it with splints despite not even wanting to be dealing with it himself. It's a mess.

Raph has just, obvious anger issues. And splinter does not address them in a healthy way frequently. It's a lot of, "just breathe" and Raph is just: "I want to punch someone or something yesterday."

OH and splint sets his brothers shoot him with plungers while yelling at him and roah like, has a whole ass panic attack. That manifests aggressively cuz raphs anger oh so obviously comes from anxiety. But splinter like never picks up on that.

2012 splints treats the boys like students more then sons ALOT. But also cares about them enough to do shit like, break brain control cuz he didn't wanna kill them ✌️

I could probably word that better but I'm still a little high on laughing gas rn cuz I just had a dentist appointment.

He confess and also tell you real quick about his marriage situation in case you want out.

Stolas is a caring and passionate lover. His love language is mostly affection and quality time but I believe he’ll wait till you’re ready if you catch my drift. He LOVES spoiling you with numerous gifts and dates. He’d be pretty upset (pouty) if he’s not your go to contact when you need help. I did hesitate between a few characters (mainly Vaggie) but in the end Husk won. He’s chill but knows how to have fun. And he’s loyal.

You were at the hotel when you got to know Husk. He was being his usual snarky self but after a few nights (and talks) he slowly became friendlier. He even cracked jokes with you! Music definitely got the two of you to bond. You became someone he felt at ease with. The moment Husk considered sharing some of his problems with you he knew he fell, and fell hard. He started being more attentive to your needs and lost in your voice during your conversations. Everyone knew he was in love so one night they somehow managed to leave the two alone for the night. That’s when he confessed, knowing he couldn’t hold it in any longer.

As mentioned beforehand, Husk is a very attentive boyfriend. His love language is mostly acts of service and some quality time. He makes you your favorite drinks and will even learn the ways of a coffee barista for you. He’s proud of the way he makes you smile and feel loved as well as being your shoulder to vent to. Husk knows he has a way with words and people to make them feel at ease, he’d say it’s a positive trait of his that’s why he wants you to be included in it. Plus he gives good advices for someone with so many bad decisions. Husk likes going on weekly dates with you (besides dinner together every night that he cooks) to watch new movies. He’s mostly a domestic guy so going out in public is something he’d only do for you.

Husk calm demeanor is really helpful when you start getting irrational. He always help you keep a head on your shoulders and is the rational voice. Doesn’t mean he won’t encourage you to go ape shit when someone deserves it. While he prefers the calm, Husk still enjoys your occasional chaotic moments. He knows you try to lessen them for him but isn’t fully opposed to them as long as you’re safe. Low chance he’ll join you but some nagging will work. People are surprised that he’s with someone way more energetic than him but he just shoots some lovey dovey comment and they shut it. Angel is probably your biggest cheerleader in the relationship, he gives a lot of (sometimes helpful) advices to Husk.

While your hobbies differ greatly, I can see Husk appreciating them a lot. Especially your artistic side that he fully encouraged. He’s always there when you practice, even when you get frustrated or have an art block. Husk will become your hype man and do his best to motivate you. He probably got the binge watching habit from you much to Alastor dismay and he actually gets into soap operas….it’s funny to watch. Husk likes listening to you analyze or talk about greek mythology. He’s not great at that but tries to participate (he likes listening to your voice).

Husk will lessen his drinking habits with you. He wants to be the best version of himself for you just like you are for him. He’s really trying and it’s commendable. His gambling is another issue and he needs another fixation for him to stop. I guess with you it could become watching tv as it takes up a lot of his time (not saying that in a negative way but you see what I mean). Aesthetically talking, you two also fit together if we judge by clothing type and your personal aesthetic. Overall he might not be the best guy but he’s willing to change for his love.

music documentaries are saurrrr interesting for no reason because one band guy will say one thing and its immediately contradicted by another and then another completed unrelated story is told and then cue crusty dusty footage where you cant even make out what its supposed to be and after youre done watching it you wonder what the point of all that was

I didnt know the theater of imagination panic doc existed until recently. They got brent for it and brent never talks in interviews and it was actually fascinating. He came across as very intelligent and musically driven, which I was not expecting at all. Im not an expert or anything but I did feel like it was apparent he was on something as well.

There was also a pretty awkward cut during his last scene in the doc and then he never showed up again, and it genuinely felt like he was about to say something bad about the band or their music in relation to their next record. He had been pretty calm up until that point but he was starting to get a little worked up.

The girl who directed the fever dance troupe said something like “panic have never had to work for anything its just handed to them” and she framed it in a way that was very glowing and positive but honestly extremely true

I also think the calendar business doc is interesting too because i think the filmmaker knew the band was toast and was clearly conveying that but also had to make it all feel good and kind of hide that a bit

There was also this really high production mini doc from vices era and a bunch of other very high quality longer videos that were full of like weird split drama. I feel like I have never seen anyone mention any of these ever, a lot of them were hard to get to which might be why but I was honestly very surprised given how everyone obsesses over certain photos or posts or articles. I think when people talk about the split they must only be looking at pretty odd era stuff or something

I also have theory a lot of bandom lore from like 2010-2012 is just gone because thats when people were kind of shifting from old social media onto “new” social media and fan communities were less consolidated and stuff got lost in the transition.

one also contained an extended scene of brendon and spencer on the phone with a journalist and then complaining about him and I tried really hard to find who it was and couldnt lol. Which is so incredibly and unbelievably immature to professionally film and post, I feel like so many band dudes want attention and followers and gifts and money and to be on TV blah blah blah but the second there is any heat they start publicly crying and saying its not fair. Like yeah it sucks and every job has bad parts and people are allowed to dislike parts of their job. And there are some artists who dont like any of it and want to go the more indie route or retire and thats perfectly fine. But someone like Brendon who only sings about how much he adores being rich and famous publicly whining about being asked about his band breaking up is SOOO like the definition of have your cake and eat it too.

Like you cant sing/brag about how much you love being rich and famous, sue your former friends, and act inflammatory on livestream/post dumb shit 24/7 AND still throw a hissy fit over a journalist doing THEIR job and not cooing and fawning over you and asking about your band splitting lmao

sunday, march 3rd

haven't written in a while, haven't had my computer in a while. left it home when we went to fernandina. it was a good weekend. i was on my phone more than i'd like to have been, the weather was worse than i'd have liked it to have been. still managed to walk 12ish miles, all in all. the weather wasnt so bad when it wasnt raining. cooler than normal, especially sunday. saturday was nicer, walked 9 miles. had a conversation with a man in a silly hat selling free advice. he was nice but i dont feel all that helped, i still appreciate the conversation.

i am disturbed by my lack of preparedness for this literary thing. i have no idea what's going on, what im really doing, who even is running it. oh well, it can only help me i spose. or i could embarrass myself, but i guess i shouldnt get too hung up on that.

i might be getting a new car, or should i say, old truck. which is exciting. this summer. my car is the most expensive out of all of our cars, it was originally mom's and she gave it to me. the insurance is super high, so once we pay it off (in june), we can sell it and get something thats cheaper for me. it just so happens that i have a cheap taste in cars- or trucks. anyway, i hope we'll be able to find a 1998-2011 ford ranger. a tiny little truck for lil ole me.

anyway. im considering deleting youtube. it's tough. it's definitely my most used social media, and i can say 100% that it has made me better and more informed. if you can call it social media. but its also a big "crutch". eating food? watch youtube. getting ready in the morning? watch youtube. cleaning my room? watch youtube (this one is more understandable.)

given it more thought. i will delete it as an experiment. i think i need to learn how to practice mindfulness instead of consuming content every waking moment of my life. i need a book on it, maybe. definitely.

my mind feels very busy at the moment. let me think. the tv is very loud. i feel very hot. my room is dirty. okay. breathe.

what will happen tomorrow? anything of note? not that i can think of, i might make plans. that could be nice. i like keeping myself busy. i wish i could've figured out plans with J today, but nothing materialized - i just went outside by myself. i haven't read very much. but i haven't been on my phone very much. so i guess i've been doing things. i dont have any homework due. i dont have work tomorrow. i should be happy. i need to return a book to the library, and i cant think of anything else i need to do.

tomorrow might be a good day to walk. i'll speak to some folks. i'm trying to incorporate some more southernness into my speaking voice. idk, i'd like to feel like my voice is some kind of connection to the place from which i originate. i tried so hard to get rid of it, now i dont have it all and want it back. thats life.

despite not having known him for very long or very intimately i see a lot of my grandfather in myself. he has become sort of a kindred spirit i spose, for myself. maybe i do believe in the afterlife, i can still kind of feel him. maybe thats the afterlife we get, the feeling we leave with people. even though he isnt my biological grandfather, he was the only grandfather i knew on that side of my family that i ever knew. and now is certainly the only positive father like figure there. maybe all of those parts of him that are in me now are like little shrines i've built so that he can live on. our love of johnny cash, western movies, ford rangers, and straight-edge shaving. maybe i should start fishing more seriously, honestly i've thought about it often. i'd like to go fishing with a buddy. i just need a pole and some know-how, or my friend being the know-how could work too. i love him very much now, even though he is somewhat of a stranger to me. he loved my grandma, i can see that. i read one of their letters and was moved to tears. life is something incredible.

Im not gonna argue with anyone about kaia's acting b/c it isnt the best mostly b/c she comes across as lifeless and unnatural. She def benefits from the fact shes a nepo baby and white. However I will defend her in bottoms, b/c its sometimes more about casting then it is acting. Kaias character is supposed to come across as one dimensional, a sterotypical popular high school girl who everyone aspires to be with she doesnt have any substance outside of her looks which is juxtaposed with this idea that a girl like her wouldnt be interested in somethink like bare knuckle fighting. Her role doesnt require dynamic acting and I would argue someone like zendaya wouldnt work b/c shes to dynamic and would go against the one dimensionality of how character was written. Certainly could this role have gonna to a black woman like laura harrier ( who also cant act) yeah totally but I think kaia works as that character, that doesnt mean shes a great actor . She still struggles with basic things such the inability to convey emotion.

Also austin, I like austin hes very dynamic but Im also not 100 convinced. Hes a great character actor evidenced by dune part 2. He was great in elvis fantastic even. He clearly puts the work in and willing to work on his craft. But after watching bike riders early this year and two episodes masters of air, he was very underwhelming dont know if he has the longevity as a lead ( hopefully he changes my mind b/c he seems like a cool dude and I want him to succeed). Hes struggling mightily with accents and in bikeriders he was overshadowed by jodie comer and tom hardy also even mike faist (for his very small role in bikeriders but hes extremely sensitivity and empathetic in portrayal as an interviewer). His latest stuff he comes across as one note and places too much emphasis on a huskier/smoky voice that at times sound more distracting and hinders the character.

(Though for MOTA im still in wait and see mode cause I havent seen the entire series yet)

Sooo... basically, what you're saying is that they gave her a character role that she basically already embodies (dull, lifeless, etc) because that's how her acting already is in real life? Am I understanding this correctly lol? 😅

That's fine if you liked her in the "Bottoms" movie (we all have different tastes). I didn't even see the movie (it just didn't look funny at all to me 👀), but I saw enough clips lol 😅

Interesting take on Austin. 🤔 I haven't seen him in Dune Part 2 or The Bikeriders yet, so I can't really speak to those films... yet. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Maybe he IS a character actor? Nothing wrong with that. There are PLENTY of great character actors in Hollywood, and that's where they thrive. ☺️

I honestly haven't seen much of his work post-Elvis to really judge. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I'm excited to see more of his work in this phase of his career. I've only seen clips of him in OUATIH and I thought he was great in that. He's really good at disappearing in roles, which I like. So far, his characters have been diversely DIFFERENT ever since the play he did with Denzel Washington, and I love that. Sometimes, it's hard to imagine I'm watching the same actor lol 😆 😂

Maybe you're so used to seeing Austin in character roles that when he plays someone quieter and less "out there" you are bored lol 😆

Like I said, I haven't seen him in "The Bikeriders" yet, but it's hard to imagine anyone outshining Tom Hardy, coz Tom is just.... 👌🏾

Prior to "Elvis", I'd only seen Austin in fluff TV shows like "The Carrie Diaries" or "Switched at Birth", etc. So I've seen him in various different roles PRE-Elvis.

So far, I'm enjoying MOTA, and I'm interested in seeing where his career takes him in this era. I'm just glad he's getting to do more of the type of work that he wants to do now in his career. 😊

Austin's voice has ALWAYS been deep imo. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Deep and slightly raspy.

I really don't think he's putting anything on. Don't pelt me with tomatoes but I actually sort of suspect (I only said SUSPECT) that he kinda ruined his voice a little when singing for Elvis all those years. I'm a singer as well, and it can definitely happen. I had vocal nodules that changed my voice (I could barely speak at one point). I had to go through vocal therapy for many months in fact for it.

My voice is fine now, thankfully lol 😆, but if you've developed vocal nodules, they can for sure change the quality of your voice. So, he might just have vocal nodules. I don't suggest getting them surgically removed if anyone has them, but vocal rest, along with changing ways in which you vocalize can help diminish them.

Disney Corporation: Nostalgia and they consistently put out enjoyable if not amazing work. Dune: popular scifi novel from the 80s and nerds love to get weirdly obsessive over scifi. MCU: A mix of comic book fans near the start with from what I've heard some good films followed by sunk cost fallacy. Dark Souls: A mix of openworld nonlinearity in an RPG and you know that thing when you keep failing at something repeatedly but then finally succeed and it feels like a million orgasms? That.

In hindsight my question was both about my own reaction (not getting it), and fans reaction both in positive sense (fawning over them, being protective of them) and negative sense (hating change). And you managed to answer all of em, so well done.

Ill explain each for the viewers at home.

DISNEY :

As a child and teen Disney didnt play much of a role in my life. I mean i did watch the movies and the occasional tv show, but not much else, and I cant really say i was a big fan even at a young age, and I really never bought into the whole Disney "Magic" idea. By contrast I was a big fan of things like Power Rangers, The Addams Family, Medabots, Pokémon, and Warner Brothers (as my dad jokingly says, we're a warner brothers household not a Disney household) , which at one point actually led to me calling my parents Father and Mother, despite not being raised that way 😅. Though it didnt help that even at a young age I viewed Disney as very much a young kid/pastel suburban thing (If youve watched the addams family movies youll know what I mean), and adults into Disney as more than a bit wierd, so that might be part of the reason why I never gravitated to it.

But i do understand the appeal. I mean a company that relies on Nostalgia is basically trying to sell you things you associate with the good parts of your childhood. So naturally if youre a fan of it, youd want the company to chanfe the products as little as possible, to preserve the memory.

DUNE

I was never into sci fi novels, so naturally Dune wasnt something I read. Also im not into noble focused stories like War and Peace, so Dune with its focus on nobility doesnt appeal to me.

But now I get it. Sci Fi stories which were once popular are considered classics, and as a result are generally treated with much more respect and admiration than they might deserve.

MCU

Honestly I like stories with a beginning, middle, and end. So western comic books dont appeal to me, which explains why im not into the MCU.

Sunk cost fallacy as an explanation..... yeah that fits. I mean its the only thing that explans why way to many people watch them even after its clear that theyre burning piles of garbage wrapped in mouse shapped turds.

DARK SOULS

I can only do so much of that FAILING A MILLION TIMES BEFORE SUCCEEDING, before i get bored and look for something else. Besides the look, lore, and feel of the games just doesnt appeal to me. Fable however does.

That said I do understand that feeling, and now i get why fans of it are so against lower difficulty, because that would risk the loss of the very high they get from being beaten a million times before succeeding

this is a very long and rambly post, there's a tldr at the bottom but you dont have to read any of it if you dont want, just warning you. also typed on phoen so sorry for typos.

reasons im not going to watch heartstopper even though it seems really lovely and well done.

1- can't watch things im not super into cause cant focus that long hard to concentrate

2- cant cope with watchig two british cis gay teenagers have wveryhing i ever fucking wanted as a teenger when all i got instead is hospitals and ableism and transphobia

3- the orde rof things peiple perceivw abput me is autism/disability, transgender, anything else. sexuality falls into the "anythign else" category and usually just gets ignored because people most often see ky autism and physical disabilities and that im nonverbal and they make the assumption that i have no cognition or understanding. and therefore don't even consider ghat i could have romantic or sexual feelings towards anyone. because ibviousky i "have yhe mind of a child" and half the time they dont even believe that im trans or that i could understand my own gender and my relation to it enough to identity that way. even before i lost my speech completely and was semi-verbal ibwas still that weird quiet kid who fidgeted class and didnt seem to pay attention but still sormhow got high marks, and the majority of people never even considered me capable of friendship or social interactions (and fair enough becaude im really not good at it, i only have 3 friends who are great and i only have them because they were sueper nice and i dont thjnk i actially did anything, i dont know how it happened).

anyway, in conclusion im not going to be watching heartstopper even though it aeems lovely, i just dpnt think i can cope witj it.

(theres so much more i could say about this, probably will make more rambly posts in the future. if j cpuld oragnise it better and make a real point to what im saying i would but i cant have braun space to do that right now i hoep it makes sense.

TLDR; not going to watch heartstopper (tv program) because it's too painful for me to compare to my actual life.
