going off of this, octavius is probably some kid who got his life ruined by lance and jed. during the whole world burn/burn book sequence, when everyone is like brawling it out, he probably gets into a fistfight with jed because of whats in the book

attila is glen coco, the one who got like 4 candy cane grams. we love attila here ❤️

teddy would probably be a gentler version of mrs norbury. still gets kicked out for the "drug pusher" thing tho

saca is the principal. i feel like a lot of the time when theres a school au, teddy is the principal and saca is a teacher. screw that, saca is IN CHARGE

the cavemen are very close to being dropouts. i imagine most of them have a history of arson charges

the tuskegee airmen are all science nerds. theyre probably amelias friends and they want to all be pilots together when they graduate

ok i'm falling down the rabbit hole that is witch hat atelier au for the batfam. so here's a better picture of baby jason as a little witch apprentice.

his apprentice robes are supposed to mimic that of his robin uniform, but with the cording across the chest that reflects that of his teacher - bruce. on bruce actually it's mean to mimic the placement of the bat symbol. but I didn't want jason to be in a complete replica of b's so he got his robin look~

i've got more ideas about who everyone would be in this au

dick is obviously the elder apprentice under bruce. he wasn't initially a fan of bruce taking on another student when he was nearing the end of his own apprenticeship, but they manage to work it out. he still hangs around the atelier tho b/c b is hopeless with the sudden influx of kids

jason's a bit like coco in this au, he wasn't born a witch but was taken in by bruce. he stole a magic book from bruce and figured out how to draw magic from it. instead of wiping his memories like he should ahve, bruce took him on as an apprentice. jason still dies but gets revived thanks to forbidden magic (and gets a sick magical tattoo) and becomes a brimhat

tim's a fellow apprentice, one who was taken in via coercion by bruce because there always seemed to be a problem with his other teachers. either he was slacking (wasn't being mentally challenged) or talking back (politely correcting them) but he made is way to bruce's atelier and convinced the professor to teach him.

steph was one of tim's few remaining friends from their time under another professor. she makes a point of following tim to bruce's atelier one day (after he was visiting family), and is just constantly over after that. bruce takes on her apprenticeship when it's found out that her father turned to the brimhats (and was captured and had his memory wiped) and she was under constant scrutiny for also being a traitor.

damian and cass were both taught under the brimhats (tho different sects), and to some on the council they are still considered brimhats even tho they've renounced their brims and adopted the pointed hats of bruce's atelier. damian is still bruce's son here, which has the fun implications that bruce's memories have been tampered with (the were erased by ra's for clarity's sake).

duke is bruce's latest apprentice, and was taken on when bruce found him trying to learn more about the brimhats - wanting to bring them to justice himself for erasing his parents memories - and was worried duke might get himself hurt in the process.

RWBY: Vibranium Shield AU: Jaune’s Day at Beacon with new gear (Harem)

Jaune after a solo mission of recon mission of just following some White Fang, Ozpin decided he could have a day off and just do him for awhile, Jaune took this opportunity to then decide to put on some fresh smelling clothes after a long shower and decided to have a nice walk around Beacon with his shield on hand or on his back?

He worn a black tank top, some cargo military navy blue jeans and some of his old steel toe cap Dr.Martens, he grabbed his wallet and scroll and headed out for the day.

As Jaune walked out and passed some people, mostly girls and few Guys he was being watched and lusted as the girls saw his muscular arms and hidden abs and pecs while seeing him looking like a Soldier in training, most males got a bit annoyed and jealous of the attention, Sun however just gave him some respect as he was showing off the abs like a pro.

Half way out he was passing the teachers lounge and Glynda even managed to choke on her coffee and blushed hard while thinking she should give him her crop and use it on her.

As he exited the school he then headed to the comic store that was only a few miles away and decided to Jog there for some small exercise.

An hour later as he jogged back with some new comics he was then noticing that Team RWBY, Pyrrha, Coco, Velvet and Glynda where all staring at him and had some lusting looks on their faces.

Jaune: umm?…..you guys ok? And are you ok Ms. Goodwitch?

Jaune: “Lays in bed”

Jaune: That mission took longer than it should’ve.

Jaune: “Yawn”

Jaune: Got make sure to wake up early for class.

Jaune: I… can’t be… late… again.

The Witcher Wolf, The Witcher Wolf Part 2, Changes, In Plain Sight, and Forget Me Not.

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I did when I first started out, these days I'll usually only respond to comments that pose an interesting question or point about the text or that have an especially entertaining element to them.

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

A Bard Called Dandelion. More bittersweet than angsty, 531 words about outliving everything you love.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

To quote @slusheeduck: "Probably Teacher AU. Literally everything tied up neatly for the happiest ending possible."

7. Do you write crossovers?

I've done some Coco x PATF since I've got OCs from those universes who are star crossed lovers. Also have a DBH fic that takes place in the Witcher universe, but only with DBH characters on screen.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

I don't think so? Occasionally there's a comment that's bizarre/poorly phrased/the commenter has terrible reading comprehension, but not really anything actually intentional.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Nope! In fact, back when I first started writing fic I was the kind of person who legally and unironically could not say Fuck.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I've had a couple of my most popular oneshots unskillfully copycatted, but no copy-pasting theft that I can recall.

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! For sure in Spanish, Russian, and Chinese that I recall (and a couple podfic recordings which I love). I have an open policy of my works being fair game for translation as long as I'm credited and tagged.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I got into this game in the first place by co-writing with Slush hahaha. And I've got several DBH co-written pieces since I was part of a robust fandom writers server back in the day.

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Ruia. Ruy (a Coco OC) and Iria (a PATF OC) that are the prettiest disasters you ever did see across all their AU's. <3

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

I've got a discontinued Incredibles fic and a Frozen one that I'm real sad didn't get finished even though I know the rest of the plot for them. Ultimately they were good ideas I had when I wasn't in the social circles of the fandoms they were for and so I lost steam.

15. What are your writing strengths?

Seeing a poorly executed concept and obsessing over why it rubs me the wrong way until I figure out how to do it good and I suddenly have a great story.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

I have so many creative projects going at all times (wood working, linocut, soft sculpture, ect.) that writing isn't my one true creative love like it used to be, so if I fall out of love with a project it's toast.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Nice spice when done in moderation and with a native speaker's double checking when possible.

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

Pretty content rn actually! If I really want to write it it generally gets done.

20. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

I'm still really proud of Forget Me Not, I think it's probably the most elegant dance I've ever done with a fandom's canon.

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Sometimes! Depends on my mood--I get in "I need to say thank you to every comment or I WILL die" moods sometimes, and then others I don't respond to anything unless there's a question/comment that bears responding to.

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I've got a good few--I'm a sucker for a good bittersweet ending. A lot of times, like with Liberties and Time and Circumstance, the angst factor comes from knowing how the story ends in canon. Probably the angstiest writing was And Therewithal I Cut My Hair.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

Probably Teacher AU. Literally everything tied up neatly for the happiest ending possible.

7. Do you write crossovers?

The Ruy stories (from Villain AU, which I worked with Wit on but he ultimately wrote) were a crossover with PatF, but otherwise not really. I think about it sometimes with various fandoms tho.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Uhh, not really unless you count my pre-AO3 days when a guy gave me a dressing down over a fic I was begging people to read when I was 13 and didn't know what I was doing. (Grateful to that guy, in the end! I learned how to format properly out of spite.) I did have one person come in to all my Frozen fics and rewrite them in the comments on ffnet, though. Not hate, but...strange.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I just wrote my first full smut scene in a fic and I'm still recovering.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not stolen, but one person did rewrite a fic I've written to be more angsty.

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I...think someone translated Teacher AU, but I can't remember fully.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Oh just a few.

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Honestly, at the end of the day, probably Victuuri. I've had other ships, but the 30 day challenge I did for them was one of the most fun things I've written.

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Oh, I don't know. Probably my Gravity Falls fic or my Iduna/Agnarr Frozen backstory. I still have those guys percolating in my head and periodically want to come back to them, but I have so many other projects.

15. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue dialogue dialogue. I thrive with that, and my stuff frequently ends up being people sitting and talking for a whole chapter. No one's complained yet tho.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Endings. I always struggle with ending things, and there's a few fics where when I reread them (because I'm a big fan of reading my own fics, since that bitch writes exactly what I want to read) that I just straight up do not read the last chapter because I hate it so much.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I do this with reckless abandon and I do not apologize ever. Sometimes I translate, sometimes I leave it to context clues.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

I'd love to write some Bloodweave one of these days, but alas, it would have to be for an ask or something.

˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ art student!marius x barista!opalie & college au.

opal loves the tranquility of working at the tiny café off campus. not many students go there since they prefer the proximity of the cafes by libraries. and marius, an art student who finds himself frequenting that cafe, likes it for the same reason. because when it's quiet and peaceful, he can hear the sound of her voice when taking orders. he admires her attention to detail when she's decorating drinks. he won't admit it, but his sketchbook has several pages of her. and one day, he'll find the courage to ask her to teach him how to do latté art. but in the mean time, he orders drink after drink to hear opal call his name from the counter.

II. @luvbub and keiji!

˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ apartment neighbor!keiji x bub & the neighbors to lovers trope.

on the way back to her apartment, bub notices the door next to her's wide open. odd... no one lives in that apartment. she takes a quick peek only to see a cat walking out of the apartment followed by a tall man with dark hair. he picks the cat up swiftly, apologizing to bub for getting in her way. they introduce themselves, and he invites her in for a drink. he tells her about how he started a new job here and was just settling in, and bold of him, he asks if she'd wanna show him around. and soon enough, akaashi's cat takes a liking to bub's clothing, and he often finds the cat rubbing herself against bub's cozy cardigans. her visits to his apartment have made him realize that he likes the comfort she brings with her.

III. @miya-dynasty and kita!

˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ teacher!kita x barista!nhi & coffeeshop au.

nhi always wondered what the man that came in every morning with silly ties did for a living. was he working in an office that had a not-so-serious dress code? or maybe he just had an eclectic style. and every morning, the man ordered a black coffee. nhi started to enjoy his presence — the way he'd always add 2 sugars, take a sip, and smile to himself. one morning, he ordered a slice of cake, asking nhi for a recommendation. "it's for one of my students. he's turning 7 today, and he said his parents don't celebrate his birthday," he rambles. nhi sees the way his eyes light up as he talks about his students, and the next morning, kita buys a slice of cake to share with her.

IV. @kodzukoi and marius!

˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ prince!marius x tailor!koi & royal au.

koi was assigned to be the prince's tailor — the one who does all his fittings and designs all his clothes. it was a demanding job, really, because the prince was quite specific with what he wanted to wear and how he wanted people to perceive him. marius liked when koi would knock gently on his door, her sweet voice making its way through the oak doors. he liked when she'd present her designs to him with a proud smile, and truthfully, he'd wear anything she made — the clothes were lucky to be touched so carefully by her hands, marius thinks. he hopes she won't mind when he asks her to take his measurements again, wanting to feel the way her hands dance across his shoulders.

V. @bbiemilk and luke!

˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ labmate!luke x coco & the forced proximity trope.

luke and coco have had run-ins with each other, whether he was taking a break from pipetting to get another much-needed coffee or whether she was attempting to look for an empty room to practice her presentation. they shared kind smiles, and luke was often captivated by her eyes (they reminded him of his favorite drink — caramel mochas). one night, they were both staying late to finish up their projects. and unfortunately, they were snowed in. there was absolutely no way they could make it to the bus stop in this weather. so, they kept each other company. luke made coco a hot drink and watched how the reflection of falling snow twinkled in her espresso colored eyes.

The blue haired look-a-like family headcanon AU I have in my head.

Ever since seeing this, and learning about Sieghart and Justice, I have been getting this AU in my head.

Picture this.

Sieghart is the father

Mystogan, Jellal and Siegrain are triplets

Justice is the younger brother

Wendy is the baby sister we all need in our lives.

One blue family. But set it in a modern era.

The guilds are houses in Fiore School which serves as a Junior High School and a High School.

-Mystogan and Wendy belongs to Fairy Tail house.

-Jellal and Justice belongs to Crime Sorciere house.

-Siegrain is a part of the student council.

All uniforms are different. Fairy Tail is purple. Crime Sorciere is dark blue. Lamia Scales is green. Blue Peagus is light blue. Student council is white.

2/3 triplets aka Jellal and Siegrain are mischievous and they tend to swap uniforms. No one can tell who is who between the triplets. However, Wendy and Justice are always able to tell the triplets apart by their eye colour.

-Jellal has blue eyes

-Mystogan has green eyes

-Siegrain, Wendy and Justice has brown eyes.

The teachers have never noticed the eye colour difference so they usually pray that the boys are in their assigned classes and not mixed their classes by attending to the other's class. Jellal and Siegrain does that a lot. They tried getting Mystogan to join but he flatted out refused. It's mainly Jellal and Siegrain that the teachers get mixed up. Mystogan usually wears a face mask so it's easier for the teachers to know that it's him and not Siegrain or Jellal.

The siblings all have different hobbies and likes:

-Mystogan: Going out on walks, biking, reading in quiet places.

-Jellal: Hanging out with his friens, spending time with Erza and playing the father role to Meredy.

-Siegrain: Reading, pulling pranks and annoying the fuck out of Mystogan.

-Justice: Reading about space, making random DIY stuff and arguing with Elsie.

-Wendy: Gardening, looking after her kitten (Carla) and patching her brothers up after they get into fights.

They also hang out in their own groups

Mystogan: Edolas (Ezra, Coco, Sugar Boy and Hughes)

Jellal and Siegrain: Troublemakers (Ultear, Meredy, Cobra, Midnight, Angel, Racer and Richard)

Wendy: Natsu group (Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Gray, Juvia, Gajeel and Levy).

Ships

Sieghart is a single dad. Can't picture him being with anyone.

Mystogan with Ezra Knightwalker. Ezra is just Erza Knightwalker just spelt differently. Erza and Ezra are cousins and it was after the offical documents were placed that the two cousins share the same name

Jellal with Erza Scarlet. I swear if I could punch this man, I would. Jerza for life.

Siegrain with Ultear. I think they'll be quite cute together.

Justice with Elsie Crimson. It's canon, they deserve a happy ending (even if they fight all the time).

Wendy with Romeo. They're cute together.

I really want to find some bases and draw them as a father now. I'm doing it.

I like it so far. However i will say for merlin, arthur, & Achilles aren't technically deities, but mortal chanpions held in high regards. Essentially, they'd be resurrected to help train, teacher, & motivate the beacon crew.

Nora was gonna be possessed by, freya queen of valkyries, and thor goes to taiyang.

Pyrrha was the interesting one. Cause in the AU, athena & bellona wanted to possess Pyrrha, but we beaten to it by amaterasu due to her kinda and some what pure nature. Leading her to be the mother figure of there troop.

Ganesha works for ren. I was gonna choose hou yi.

Sun= sun wukong (for obvious reasons)

Sage= sobek maybe

Scarlet= work in progress

Neptune= poseidon. Namely cause poseidon forces Neptune in water alot, constantly reminds of his namesake

Coco = serqet. They both have a tendency to love fashion.

Fox: maybe tsukuyomi. Still open to change

Yatsuhashi = guan yy

Velvet = Chang'e obvious reasons

Cardin = zeus, namely because zeus loikes looking powerful, and cardin offers that (note cardin won't be a complete douche, but still kinda a douche)

Russel = maybe loki or not in this

Dove = wip or not gonna be featured

Sky = wip or not gonna be featured

Cinder = originally gonna be hel, but will change to sol or izanami

Emerald = maybe awilix or da ji, for her illusions

Mercury = chernobog

Neo= was gonna be izanami, but probably change to hel

Qrow = thanatos

Taiyand = thor previously mentioned

thanks for asking! @narcissa-black-supermacy also inquired after this particular wip so I will answer you both in this post.

first point: the title is completely unrelated to the wip and is a placeholder title from a song I was listening to at the time. this is very common for me.

second point: this is probably my most serious wip that I would like to get done after my fth fic.

this is my remus outsider pov perciver fic. it’s currently 5.3k.

the basic premise is: poa canon divergence. remus lupin is teaching dada and watching two of his seventh years be absolutely heads over heel for each other and he’s sad about his (ex?) fiance, sirius black [but we don’t mention that name!] he becomes close with several of his students (in a teacher-student way), such as percy and oliver. and harry, and luna (who is trans, as is remus in this story).

but essentially: canon veers off because remus took over and percy decided to look into sirius and thought the lack of trial suspicious. hence, innocence!

so, in summary: poa au which was supposed to be a light-hearted remus pov perciver mutual pining fic but turned into that plus remus being a mentor plus remus constantly agonising over him plus a happy ending as sirius’ innocence is proved vis a via percy. that’s the basic plot, did I give too much away? I don’t think so: for fanfic, it’s not the beats that are important, it’s the journey.

I have mentioned this fic and posted several preview snippets, particularly late last year, but it got put on the backburner for asocg last year, coco fic, and my fth fic this year. but after my fth fic... I do want to get this fic done, so I’ll turn it into my main wip (or so I hope/plan).
