Finally got to finishing Coraline today, my Xenoblade X OC based on my Cross from my most recent playthrough. She's one of my first OCs and I'm really happy with her design.

Her Blade Armour design is really complicated and detailed, but it's a good look, especially in game, so I want to get used to drawing it. I do also have ideas for a casual design, that I'll work on later down the line.

Happy 8th American anniversary for XCX guys!!! I’m so glad there’s still love for it after all these years. I may haven’t been here when it was in its hay day, but it’s super cool to see all the content being made nowadays ❤️✨

Honestly, ever since this art of my Cross has been done, I have been starting to to toss around the idea of writing a oneshot (maybe twoshot, if it gets too long for one chapter) Xenoblade Chronicles X fic about them discovering the in-universe method of re-customizing your character after the start of the game, sort of stumbling into transing/nonbinary-ing their gender while figuring themself out, and having Elma and Lin be supportive and affirmative in the aftermath...

Idk, it'd be pretty self-indulgent. But that's what art is for, so I think I'll really just do it.

Ya'll I am fucking tired of conservative homophobes and transphobes acting like the Mario movie is some marvel of "anti-wokeness" or whatever even though there's been LGBT charecters in Mario such as Birdo and Vivian being both trans women and in superstar saga Luigi is heavily implied to have a crush with Prince Peasly.

Also like all the LGBT rep in Zelda, Fire Emblem, Pokemon and Xenoblade? Litterally Animal Crossing has a canon Drag Queen, Litterally the creator of Metroid Said that Samus Aran was a trans woman? (To be Honest though it was in the context of a transphobic joke but still) there's even a creature in Pikmin that changes it's sex and Olimar actively denounces transphobia? You can have the option to dress Mario and Link in drag in both their recent mainline games, they removed gender from Splatoon, Pokemon and Animal Crossing instead calling it "style". Kirby Star Allies has a canon fucking lesbian couple in it and Kirby is nonbinary in Japan?

Like I'm sorry but Nintendo games and their rep helped me come out and even though they're a terrible conglomerate I still enjoy their work. Like how come when they get mainstream attention from the public they're called a beacon of homophobia and transphobia for conservatives to take refuge in when they're games have actively advocated for LGBT inclusion since Super Mario Bros 2? Like yes alot of their inclusion is hit or miss I won't deny that but I still appreciate that they tried to normalize being LGBT and GNC so early on.

Awwww yeah, finally at a point where I can start sharing what I've been working on! So those of my age or older, who remembers that reality show The Mole? If not necessarily that, who in the Mario fandom encountered krisetchers' Mole-themed Mario fics in the mid 2000s and early 2010s? That's basically what I'm doing here, a crossover fic based around The Mole. One of these twelve characters I've got here is a Mole, trying to ruin the other players' chances to add money to a group pot, and it's their job to figure out who it is. I've already got five episodes within 15 chapters finished, so after I've got the upcoming bios all posted I'll start posting those next Tuesday! :D (cuz the show used to air on Tuesdays, at least the US version and the season I saw live-ish at like eight or nine years old hehe)
