I think most gay gay couples are non hetero normative but Scorbus kinda is in many ways. That's just my take.
Albus serenades Scorpius like a ( good ) hetero guy, is impulsive, daring like that, gives him presents, takes him on unexpected trips when Scorpius needs to relax, puts a ring on him, pulls the chair for him at date nights etc and Scorpius takes care of him like a wife who knows that if left alone her husband won't eat, will live in a messy room with a chaotic daily routine, will get into accidents due to impulsive and clumsy behaviour etc
Ok but imagine Albus saying Scorpius that he will always protect him like a sworn knight and Scorpius boosting Albus confidence by giving him pep talks like self help podcasters " you are great, you are the best, you can do whatever you put your mind to, best boyfriend a man could have" etc.
They don't even do it on purpose, it's subconscious, it's their thing and it's okay.
ps: Scorpius loves the fact that Albus is a dirty boy, it makes him naughty, " the aristocrat and the pauper" type of thing.

Cishet relationships involving Black women are not heteronormative, especially mixed race relationships with non-white men, because Black women are NOT normalized in our media's depiction of relationships. That's really all there is to it.
It's right there in the name: 'normative'. For that to happen women of color in general have to be more prevalent in media. They're simply not.
If you think a cishet relationship which involves a woman of color, especially a black woman, is the same as one in which the woman is white, you really need to read up on racialized misogyny and do some self examination. These kinds of claims harm black women in their representation. Until they're seen as readily as any other woman in a relationship, them being depicted in a cishet relationship--especially a mixed race relationship and double extra if the man isn't white--is a far cry from the heteronormativity of a cis white straight couple.
No one says you have to like it. But claiming a relationship is something it's not to justify your dislike is harmful and unnecessary.

You have brain rot. Log off the internet and get some fresh air
Oh, wow, log off and get fresh air? That's revolutionary advice, never heard that one before! I was just about to diagnose my screen-induced brain rot on WebMD, but your wisdom has truly saved the day. Let me go bask in the great outdoors; I'm sure the fresh air will magically restore my brain cells to their former glory.

Self Disclosure and Taylor Swift's Mastermind
Maybe, just maybe Taylor is feeling people out, carefully testing the waters, and making a decision to update her public persona based on the reactions she receives.I think it would be beneficial for people to relax on the “straightest woman in the world” narrative, so she doesn’t get locked in a box (gold cage?!). Even if she is straight, does it need defending? Straight, is the majority, the…

Sorry to hit y'all with my annoyance out of nowhere but once again the 'his or her' thing is pissing me off simply because it's so unnecessary most of the time!
Like, in Genshin you can choose either twin to be the MC. And on a video discussing buried lore bombs, someone in the comments made a single paragraph much longer than it had to be because they used 'his or her/he or she' in reference to the MC, 11 times while trying to get their point across!
They could have said 'Traveler', like all in-game characters do. They could have used 'They' to shorten in. Hell, even 'MC' is a good substitute! OR, just use the name of the MC they chose.
^I used THEY for example because IDK the gender of the person talking and IDC all that much either. THEY works just fine.
Who wants to sit there typing even more words than they need to?

Treacherous  coming out admitting to myself to the world that I was gay  queer  homo same-sex-loving was supposedly a step to being authentic to realizing my real self <> instead it became a treacherous bog of gender politics of sexuality correctness where being out was not enough  where one was now defined was acknowledged as authentic  by conflicting contradictory rules of…

Friendly reminder that just because someone struggles to talk to you doesn’t mean they don’t like you. It is damaging to you both if you assume someone hates you and talks shit about you just because they’re not responding how you want them to. There are plenty of other reasons as to why someone is quiet and doesn’t talk much. And usually that reason is NOT because they hate you and talk shit about you. And if you can’t come to terms with that and still think the only possibility they’re not talking to you is because they have something against you, then idk what to say except, that’s a you problem and you should get a therapist for that anxiety.

fandom hot take but people who say "fans who need to realize the difference between romantic and friendship 🙄🙄🙄🙄" when they're a queer ship probably translates to " I hate fans always put lgbt in everything and it's icky and I can't be ignore that they exist anymore"
these are the same people who demand the creators when the main boy and girls characters to be as a couple

your whole identity reads "im 13 years old"
Oh, fantastic! I've been working tirelessly to cultivate that perfect '13 year old, Tabet Kid' vibe. Wouldn't want to give off the impression of maturity or anything remotely grown-up. Phew, dodged a bullet there!
