I want to ask out my twin brother's girlfriend.

It's not as bad as it sounds. She's not really his girlfriend.

I'll try to explain.

We're colleagues, sort of. (Me and her— I'd rather starve to death than work for my brother.)

Last month, someone took a picture of us leaving the office. I was only walking her to her car but the person who took the picture wanted to imply that we were dating.

And that wouldn't have been an easy rumour for her to handle, so I got my brother (identical twin) to post a picture with her on his socials.

Obviously, just one picture wouldn't work to convince anyone, so they've been meeting up a couple times a week (they have similar interests, so they were friends already) to be seen together.

Now here's the issue— I never saw her like that before, and I thought it was just fucking annoying to watch people be lovey dovey, fake or not... but one of my other colleagues said it sounded like I was jealous.

And fuck, I am.

Do you think she'd be mad if I asked her out? I reacted pretty badly to the original picture. And I'm worried my brother likes her for real (those photos they're posting are kind of convincing...)

Edit: for everyone asking, no, I can't ask my brother. he'll know why, and if he really does like her I don't want to mess with it. and if he doesn't he won't let me hear the fucking end of it. i can hear the best man speech already.

hey i watched and finished 911 lone star this week, so imma bring uo something that is very old(s1 or 2) but that impacted me A LOT

And that is the first(second? one of the first) tarlos fight, about Carlos telling his parents TK was his friend. I understand and feel for TK, especially after being fresh from a traumatic break up from a relationship in which he was clearly more invested than his partner(fuck u alex).

But I feel so much for Carlos. I am brazilian, like Rafael, and I feel like i live in the Reyes household, when Carlos was young. I am Carlos at 17, coming out, being hugged, being loved, and then having that part of himself be pushed under the rug. I will never come out to my extended family. I may take a while to transition medically, or never transition, not because I live with especially close-minded people, but because I live with humans that are sometimes afraid of what they don't know.

When Carlos said "I don't wanna rub their noses in it" I felt that, because I can't even talk to my mom about Lone Star without telling her that what drew me to it was the queer rep, esp the trans rep. Lat time I talked to my mom about a show like this, it was Star Trek Discovery, and she said "Wow, are there only gay people in these things you watch?". Needless to say, I tend to refrain from mentioning characters that arent cishet now.

I will have to cut contact with most of my family when I come out, if I wanna get married, get my name changed, etc.

When TK said "I thought they were nice people" and Carlos said "They ARE nice people. But they are not perfect" I felt that because I love my mom. She supported me though all of my crazy dreams, and my depressive episodes, my autism diagnosis. But she doesn't see her son when she looks at me, and she can't say my name. I have complicated feelings about my father, because he is a cheater w anger issues, but he calls me his son. He sends me articles on trans rights here in my town. He wants to see me become whatever I want. But he also left.

What I wanna say is, I never realized I needed latino rep in my media until I got it, especially queer latino rep. I am white passing, though both my grandmothers are/were black, so I always thought I was ok with seeing characters that were brunettes, like Hermione, or Belle. But seeing Encanto, and now Lone Star I actually saw my family there, with the mess and the thousands of tios and tias and primos, and the catholic guilt and the good food.

What I'm saying is Rafa said "The fact that we [Ronen and Rafa/ TK and Carlos] can just walk into your living room without your asking? Yeah, that brings me joy" bc ls is not a queer show.It's a show about first responders, and some of them happen to be queer. It's not next to RuPaul's drag race on the straming catalogue, but next to action shows. And it reminds me that people think that is "shoving it in theur faces". Because they feel queer rep, and queer PEOPLE should come with a warning, because they ferl they have the right to simply ignore out existence. Sometimes ut feels like simply existing is "shoving it in their faces" and I'm tired.

I am very privileged in my country, being the child of university professors, even though both of them grew up very poor. I am middle class, with fairly open parents and a queer sister, and for that I am grateful, and I realize that my situation is better than a lot of people's. I am not denying that. But it feels nice to see a story that looks like mine, not just a face. A story in US media, that I grew up watching and worshipping, far more than the relatively conservative media from Brazil(especially the novelas, jesus christ, someone save us from globo, recodrd and band and sbt), with a boy that reminds me so much of myself. With a trans male character for fuck's sake, that has to deal with the mess of dating as a trans person, of navigating your family and your transition. These people showed me that I am not alone.

Also Rafael is from my town and ever since I foumd that out I have been giggling internally, you guys have no clue 😅😅

Oh well, another rant no one asked for but I delivered anyways. I am very depressed, very disphoric and very hyperfixated on 911 ls, so...sorry, not sorry?

this might be my last ask sent considering i just got caught up on cough syrup but who knows i might get attached!

okay so for starters i’m here to say holy crap i love how you write tommy and i keep forgetting to say that! you do him more than justice, you do his character like double justice. (now i’m wondering what double justice would look like in the justice system…. probably lots of paperwork)

next i’m here to say holy moly macaroni you write dream so well. (i just realized i haven’t put !cs before things so i’m doing that now. i’m a bit tired and stuff so whejsmshfjd) cs!dream gives me the heeby jeebies and i literally wanted to shake cs!ranboo by the shoulders the entire time he was interacting with cs!dream but i was also like hashtag relatable so oh well! you’ve just done the whole dynamic really well! (i know its not much but the fact that cs!dream was planting the ideas of “i’m your only friend/your friends want to hurt you” thoughts into cs!ranboo’s brain was an excellent touch! it was something i’ve learned about in a class about abusers and stuff and how they try and isolate people and yea c!dream did this so idk maybe i’m making a big deal out of nothing but. i thought you wrote it really well! like really well)

can you tell words are not my friend because oh boy they’re not

and of course how could i write this without mentioning cs!fundy! you wrote him so well and i’m intrigued by his character! i also really like how you wrote his dialogue while being all panicked! very nice to see that kind of stuttering written so well!

i also want you to know that, often, i find when you’ve said you feel like you’ve written something not well, you’ve actually done a real suburb job! maybe i’m not the best judge as i’m not much of a writer myself, but i feel like you don’t give yourself enough credit! you’re doing wonderful work here

Ok the whole thing w/ clogging up ao3 tags is stupid for multiple reasons, like how it fucks with screen readers for one, but the MAJOR issue is that having too many tags isn’t actually a problem w/ ao3

Like seriously guys? There is a lot to criticize. And I say this as someone who heavily relied on fandom spaces to get me through some really really hard times and still loves ao3. I can say I love what it does for fandom while also acknowledging there’s some seriously fucked up shit going on both behind the scenes and with ppl who use the site. It’s literally like saying “I love tumblr but I acknowledge there are literal nazis on here and as a Jew/human with a working brain I hate them and that they’ve been here so long”

Like. I get u think ur sticking it to the man or whatever. And idk I partially agree bc. There’s so much nasty shit and some technically illegal shit that I don’t want to even mention! But ur not even wasting the moderators time or anything ur just being obnoxious and then everyone starts discoursing on tumblr and I’m legitimately tired of it. I don’t wanna see ppl defending gross stuff and I’m tired of talking about the ppl who do defend gross stuff bc I don’t wanna remember that they exist bc I have shit to do irl and not enough space in my brain for them

So. Idk ima propose at least a temporary solution before I have to hear one more argument for or against censorship bc y’all seriously don’t understand how to have a nuanced conversation

How about instead of asking AO3 to take down gross fics (which may or may not be morally correct but will 100% reopen a very over done conversation) instead we ask for some specific plausible things

1) when you use ao3 explicit and unrated fics are automatically filtered out. They do this on ff.net. Yes it may be like 2 extra clicks for ppl who wanna read explicit stuff but ppl who don’t are going to do that anyway, and it protects the people who don’t know to do that and don’t want to read graphic tags. Most importantly it requires consent to browse explicit fics. Yeah you need to give consent to read explicit stuff, but you can look through the incredibly graphic tags/summaries without consenting to anything. It’s literally the default. Which is both upsetting to ppl who don’t wanna see that and also maybe a bit of a legal loophole they should close up

2) a “suggest tags” feature. This would be moderated by authors not ao3 staff. Basically ppl can like..... idk entire a series of tags and you can choose if you want to add them or not. The person submitting them has an option to be anonymous or not. Obviously the author doesn’t have to add every random tag and it might be annoying but it would help with making sure triggers got tagged. It would be helpful if it didn’t let you suggest tags that were already suggested/on the fic but I’m not too picky. Like I said the point of this is to make sure ppl can block stuff properly, and it honestly might also help authors with visibility bc like. Obviously you know the tags you use but you don’t know what tags other ppl look for. Again maybe it may be obnoxious with ppl having a lot of tags but people already have a lot of tags

3) a dispute rating button. Now before someone bitches at me that the ao3 moderators don’t have time to go through disputes- I know I already took that into consideration. Basically the idea is when you dispute the rating the site will ask you what rating you think it should be and anonymously log it. So if someone rated something M but you think it should be an E the site will log that and send a message to the author. The author has a choice if they actually want to listen to ppl and change the rating or not. They don’t actually have to listen to the ppl disputing the rating. Unless they get a certain amount of disputes. I was thinking maybe like 50 or so?* So if 50 ppl say “hey this really needs to have a different rating” then and only then would the moderators take a look at the fic. And the moderators would then figure out what the rating should be.

(*idk if 50 is the right #. I was thinking it should maybe work on like a percentage of your hits in the fic?)

3.5) have a sexual content marker. This is marked as 3.5 bc i feel like this idea if implemented would be misused. But yeah in theory you could just have a sexual content marker that could be clicked by the OP and then automatically filtered. Again you could use the system from #3 but again I feel like ppl would missuse it.

Anyway yeah. I wanted to give some viable solutions ppl on both sides might actually agree with. Like I get not wanting to make concessions with gross ppl, but it’s a lot faster so I’m ok with doing it for now while the rest of y’all continue to debate or w/e

Final note- please for the love of g-d learn how ratings work. Ask someone else’s opinion if you have too. I have seen so many explicit fics marked as mature or teen it’s a legitimate problem. I’ll give a quick rundown of what each rating means but pls guys

General- g- basically go by what you’d see in a Disney cartoon

Teen- pg/pg 13 - there are swears there’s violence, sex may be mentioned, you might call someone sexy or smthn idc, but no one is shown having sex or or discussing/thinking about it in detail

Mature- R - injuries/gore may be described with more detail. Uhh there could be some heavy making out and the characters might talk about sex or feeling sexually attracted to someone. But actual sex is not shown!! If you have to mention or refer to someone’s genetalia in any sexual way you should probably move it up to an E. Even if ur characters are fully clothed the entire time. Also If you’re talking about kinks outside of a quick joke or reference you should probably move it up to an E.

Explicit- NC 17- sexually explicit content. (You can put non-sexual violent stuff under here but most ppl leave it under mature)

TLDR/oversimplification(for the ratings) -

General: nothing sexual

Teen: implied sex

Mature: refrenced sex

Explicit: shown sex

General tldr:

Some criticisms of Ao3 are valid and needed, and some are just stupid and infuriating (specifically talking about the tag thing stop it’s annoying and ableist). There is constant arguments and drama surrounding those criticisms, and I decided to offer some solutions that actually have a chance at getting implemented, even if I would prefer a different option.

❊ Oikawa Tōru ❊

↪ Oikawa is the type of person to know how to handle someone else’s emotions, even if sometimes he lets his own emotions get the better of him.

↪ You can tell by the way he interacts with his team and can bring out the best in each player that he knows everyone’s strong and weak points, be it physically or emotionally, and knows exactly the right words to say when he’s trying to influence someone.

↪ That being said, while it could be surprising at first to find out about this side of his s/o, he would easily adapt to it and make it so that he’s always around to help them whenever they get into these moods.

↪ I feel like he’d really look into the situation and ask a lot of questions so that he could be more aware of what could trigger crying, so by the time he sees the stray dog he’s already looking at his s/o wondering if they’re about to cry.

↪ Once they do, he always follows the same strategy: The first thing he does is hug them close and turn them away from the situation. He stops the obstacle by obstructing the view to it, so that now they’re thinking about it like it’s a memory and not seeing it happen right then and there, which makes it so that it feels distant in time.

↪ The second thing he does is whisper reassurance to his s/o. Nothing about the problem itself, in this case the dog, because that could trigger the memory. Instead, he uses gentle sentences that show compassion and understanding of the situation and let them know he feels the same way while never addressing it head on. For example, ‘I know baby, I know.’ ‘I understand, it’s okay.’ ‘I’m so sorry, it’s awful, you’re right.’

↪ The third thing he does is focusing on movement. Oikawa would start by rubbing their back in a gentle, soothing manner. Once they calm down even slightly, he’d begin rocking them side to side as slowly as he can. His s/o would start focusing on that pattern and subconsciously match their breath to it, which would help them calm down.

↪ Fourth step, not scientifically proven but definitely Oikawa proven, kisses. He starts by kissing away their tears, distracting them just a little further. Soft kisses move up in a pattern after that: he goes back down to their chin and moves up their nose to their forehead and the top of their head. If they’re calmer, he’ll peck their lips, but he always has to make sure they’re ready to handle that.

↪ Lots of reassurance, always lets them know it’s perfectly understandable and that there’s nothing wrong with them. I just truly feel like Oikawa knows how to handle this type of situation really well.

❊ Bokuto Kōtarō ❊

↪ Contrary to Oikawa, I don’t think Bokuto would really know how to handle the situation at first. It’s not that he’s careless with other people’s feelings, it’s more that he feels things intensely as well. This means his s/o being in distress would also affect him.

↪ The first time it happens, he just starts freaking out. His s/o is crying, he’s on the verge of tears because they’re crying and not one word is shared between the two for a solid five minutes other than complete gibberish

↪ His s/o is used to these things and they know it happens to them every once in a while so they’re able to calm down on their own (though it’s definitely harder than with help). Once they’re calm they end up having to calm Bokuto down and explain the situation to him

↪ That’s when he finally relaxes. He’d end up feeling really bad that his partner was freaking out and they had to comfort him, so he starts trying to prepare for next time. It’s just very difficult for him because he handles his emotions very abruptly. He’s really trying to find a way to help, though

↪ The next time it happens he figures out his own method. It improves the more it happens and it’s definitely not scientific or proven to be effective on anyone else other than his partner, but it’s just the method he finds himself using because it works. He probably tested it out because he figured it would work on him so it was worth a try

↪ He covers their eyes. It’s really stupid and it probably startled his s/o at first, but now they’re used to it. He just tries to cover their eyes to make it so that the problem vanishes.

↪ Immediately starts yelling nonsense because it’ll distract them from the problem, probably tells a really dumb story of something stupid he did (thankfully, he has many of those to use) in order to make his s/o focus on something else.

↪ Internally, he’s FREAKING out. Like his heart is speeding and his voice is obviously shaking but he’s trying his hardest. Attaches himself to his s/o’s waist once the story is over and just clings to them in an attempt to make them feel better from his presence and warmth.

↪ Lots and lots of reassuring words, and once his s/o feels okay they better be ready to handle a good twenty minutes of: ‘okay okay.... but are you sure? okay! but for real? okay got it! ... but honestly?’

❊ Kuroo Tetsurō ❊

↪ Kuroo would also take a different approach from the other two. He’s definitely closer to Oikawa in terms of being experienced with people’s emotions, but I don’t think he would be as methodical as Oikawa in order to help

↪ He’s the type of person to try and use the issue and turn it into something pleasant. A little like vaccines, like how they contain some of the virus/bacteria (weakened) to help your immune system, he would take the problem and talk about it in a way to make it seem smaller/more pleasant.

↪ In the case of the dog, he would probably try to make it seem like it’s not a stray, simply out for a jog without its owner. Would bring up a post the two had seen a few weeks ago about a dog who goes to pick up mail and then comes back and just apply it to this situation and turn it into a cute story instead.

↪ If he can’t do that, he probably just tries to reassure his s/o with stories about the topic to have them see it in a different light. He just essentially tries to bring up the positive parts of life to distract them from the sadness they’re feeling and maybe even help them through it.

↪ Take a car accident, for example. He’d point out everyone wearing the bright vests and just say everyone should be thankful that they all got out alive and this will be nothing more than a cool story to tell at family gatherings and a bit of a scare, you know?

↪ He does keep his s/o very close to him, offering comfort through his body language. Holds them tight against him and presses occasional kisses to their cheeks and forehead as he talks to make sure they’re calming down and doing okay.

↪ If all else fails and he really can’t come up with a positive story, he usually just shifts their attention to him. Starts dropping everything he can: silly jokes, dumb stories or just sweet words. He would be the type to start deeply professing his love to distract his s/o (bonus points because he actually means it!)

↪ Comfort food! Would buy his partner street food or offer to cook them a meal back home so that they can feel all better. Lets them know that they did amazing and that he’s very proud of them for handling it so well, and reassures them that he’ll always be there to help them through it so that they don’t have to struggle on their own.

hypothetically, if I were to write a fix-it/rewrite au fic, (thinking of starting at s5 but debating starting earlier) what are some storylines you’d take out/change, characters you’d save/kill, and specifically changes to sam’s character/arcs you’d like bc i need ideas

ok. ok. I'm gonna try to not go completely off the fucking rails while I write this up but I gotchu (also these r all just my own hot n spicy takes so like. pick what u like, it's all goodie goodie)

• no time passing differently in hell. literally four months is ~Enough!~ a year is enougghh!!!!!! like I get that they wanted to make hell this horrible unreachable thing but u can still like... get that across without having it be this unfathomable chunk of time out of a persons life. like sam was down there with TWO very pissed off angel's for 180 years??? how can he still speak english??? how does dean remember ANYTHING about his old life when mentally more than half of it was spent being endlessly tortured until he finally cracked??? its just.... Too Much...

• ON that note, I feel like later on they never rlly had sam and dean bond over the fact that like... they are genuinely the ONLY two people on earth who have survived actual hell. I mean we got that one off line from dean at some point but??

• no chuck as god. just a greasy greasy rat man getting insane stories projected into his brain. and on the topic of that.... I dont like the reflection of the real life fanbase in the spn universe??? they're pulp fiction novels, it should be all like 50 year old + ladies who picked them up at the local bargain bin, not b*cky r*sen

• I like... WANNA say smth abt s4..... bc I think the way that they handled things were a little out of character BUT I also think that was lind of the point??? like the angels and demons were manipulating them to say/do things they would normally never say/do to eachother to drive a big enough wedge between then that they would eventually say yes to being the vessels. like it hurts to watch sooo much but it did drive the plot forward in a very particular way that probably couldnt have happened otherwise. that being said, when the levee breaks makes me sad, and I dont want to see sam crying for his dead mother alone in a basement! cest la vie.

• no nice clothes. NO nice clothes we fuckin hate that. everything sam and dean own was purchased pre 1995 and dean is an expert at removing blood stains and sewing up jackets. dean will walk into a laundromat with a tide pen and just start goin for it like that scene in deadpool.

• tbh.... I feel like the issues in later seasons are really this massive horrible domino effect. like I could say heres how to fix s7-10 but the fact is if shit hadnt gone down lile it had in s7 s10 would be a different story entirely.

• s6: soulless sam was funney but did that really go anywhere? no. tbh I dont remember what happened w cas and I'm just not going to look it up. it's just not in the cards for tonight. dean w lisa.... ehh.... I've discussed this at wayy too much length w mushroom and we both agreed that dean would probably keep hunting to keep his mind off things and to try and honor sams sacrifice. I guess theres an argument to be made for the fact that it kind of was Sam's dying wish that dean just go fin her and live a normal life but... idk. purgatory was. . indeed a Concept..... that could have maybe gone somewhere if it didnt rapidly spiral into....

• s7!!! I mean. jesus christ. I know some people like this one but jesus christ. the way they literally couldnt commit to having sam have genuine mental health problems after centuries in hell or to just magically wipe them away..... bobby dying halfway thru.... charlie was a bright spot I suppose, but her intro is not my fave episode w her.... idk what the fuck happened w cas, I guess he was god. the leviathan designs were kinda neat but like oh my fucking god it wasnt worth it.

• s8: uh. rough start. idk why the turn tables so suddenly and dean's like "why didnt u look for me >:((" bc??? yall agreed not to???? at the VERY least they couldve had sam been like "I legitimately had no reason to think u werent dead and in heaven and tha wouldve been a little rude of me to pull u out of that." but we went for ~drama~ to make it spicy I guess. ouygh. bunkers there!!! that was cool!!! MoL is a cool concept!!! altho... it doesn kinda contradict the whole sam and dean are nobodies thing... idk. trials of hell was like... cool in theory but bad in practice unless they were planning on ending the show for realskies. and they did not.

• s9: uhh... hated gadreel! hated that shit! wish they had spun that whole storyline to be more "hey sam I noticed u were s*icidal should we maybe address that??" or even like.... I mean dean probably couldve just TOLD sam abt his plan, he had already convinced him to stay alive by that point??? there was no reason to lie!!! plus the betrayal of gadreel not being who he said he was wouldve been like. literally enough drama, we didnt need to fracture the team again. and cas was??? where exactly??? be was human for at least half of that season but hey didnt know what to do w him so they chucked him in a convenience store??? good lord.

• s10: got no suggestions for that one, just toss it

• s11: ok... shes cute.... we can forgive her.... the lore is shaky at best but the episodes SLAP and the characterization is *chefs kiss*. it's been a hot minute since I've seen it so if smth sucked I dont remember and I plan to keep it that way!!!!

Your first fight starts with a cold breeze, and broken glass on your bathroom floor. Dabi has come to visit, and you've been curled up on the couch together watching something until the cold starts to bother you. It was then that you'd seen it, the pane of glass smashed and the latch forced, a mess of sharp fragments littering the room. You storm back to Dabi, a fragment of it in your hand. "You broke the window in my bathroom?"

Dabi looks up at you, blue gaze insouciant. "Yeah."

"I just got that fixed!" you feel exasperation seep into your voice. "I had to bug my landlord for months."

"Well-" Dabi's lips quirk infuriatingly at the corners. "Maybe you shouldn't have."

"Dabi-" you spread your hands, frustrated.

"I always use that window to get in. What else did you expect me to do?" He turns away, shaking his head.

You set your jaw, scowling at him. "Maybe, and here's a thought, you could use the front door like a normal person?"

"Oh, so I'm a normal person now?" he drawls. "Newsflash, short stuff, I'm not exactly normal."

Somehow, Dabi always knows the exact thing to say to get on your nerves. "Being on the wrong side of a firework one time doesn't excuse being an inconsiderate shit to everyone in your life, you overcooked piece of lean cuisine," you snap, tossing the piece of glass you've picked up into your garbage.

The air in the room goes dead. You've made a mistake. You've treated him like a person, not like the incendiary maniac he is. Blue fire flashes in his eyes, and you take a step back as he advances on you. Your back is against the wall, and Dabi leans over you, palm on the wall above your head.

"You gonna say that again, doll?" he says, tone flat. You stop breathing for a second as he stares down at you, but he's not using his fire. The things that have been upsetting you swirl around in your mind, and it's not just the broken window that you're going to have to get fixed again, it's your boyfriend being a villain who's going to end up in Tartarus if he gets caught, so you can't even tell your friends he exists. You can't even complain about his scorched ass to anyone. It's too much.

You shake your head as you feel tears form at the corners of your eyes, and push your way past him, leaving the room. His body is solid under his loose t-shirt, but he doesn't resist, blue eyes fixed on you as you close the door behind you.

You throw yourself on the bed as a sob escapes you. Stupid, stupid, stupid. You've let your anger get the better of you and now Dabi's going to leave. He's going to slip out into the night, and you're never going to see him again. Maybe that's for the best. The thought rips another sob from you.

You don't hear Dabi come into your room, but you feel the bed shift under his weight as he sits beside you, patting your side to get you to make room for him. He flops down by your side, a soft noise as he expels air through his lips. He's not touching you, but you can feel the warmth that radiates from his skin.

You sniff into your blanket, eyes still wet. "I'm not gonna apologise."

"I know," he says. It occurs to you that he really deserves an apology, you were pretty savage to him, but that would require him to give you an apology about the window, and you both know he's too proud to give you that.

"Truce?" you ask.

"Mm." Dabi rolls into your side, an arm slung over you carelessly. "You really think I'm an… what was it you said? An overcooked piece of lean cuisine?" His tone is light, more amused than angry, though there's still an edge to it. You've managed to hurt his feelings this time, those things you sometimes forget he has.

You roll so that your back is to him, so he can't see what a mess your crying has made of your face, and you feel his lips brush the top of your head as he pulls your body to his. "You're more than that, Mr Crispy." You sigh, sinking against him, his warmth easing the tension in the muscles of your back. "Though if you want to come in the front door in future, I could give you keys for my place."

"Keys, huh?" he asks. "What if I lost them?"

On a whim, you reach up and behind you, fingers brushing the metal of the piercings in his ears. "You've got rings, don't you? Just attach them to one of those."

Dabi snorts, jabbing a thumb into the softness of your belly to make you squeal. "Fuck you," he rasps, half laughing, but he’s not mad at you anymore.

(i only say he WAS bc he should have told y/n he was struggling before he ended up in the hospital 🥺)

— oh god. nate is the type to keep cool and collected in an emergency - even if he were the one having an emergency 🥺 like if reader would’ve been w him during his car accident, she would have been worried sick over him and he’d just be like, “hey, look at me. i’m okay, yeah? a lot stronger than i look, babe.” even if it hurt like hell because he doesn’t wanna worry her. if you were in an emergency or got hurt, he’d go into sexy doctor mode. “tell me where it hurts.” squeezing your hand to reassure you, “i got you.” also kissies where it hurts 🥺 and he’s such a good listener too wow we have no choice but to simp.

O- Oasis (Where is their happy place? Where would they go if they didn’t have anything holding them back?)

-- i think he’d be the kinda guy that enjoys the sun (not just bc he looks hot, shirtless on a beach) but yes. somewhere nice and sunny where he could have maxie w him 🥺if he could stay on the beach where he started falling for dumb!reader (with her) for ever he would 🥺

P- Pain (How do they handle pain? How do they handle when you are in pain?)

-- emotional or physical? jfgksjdgsdk but no i think if he’s well regulated, he can handle pain well - it’s when he’s not that it’s a problem (w emotional pain) he stops taking care of himself the way he should and really spirals into his head a lot you know 🥺i think he can handle others being in pain better than himself bc he loves a lot and its easier to focus his attention on trying to fix things for them (like we said his biggest weakness is doing too much for those he loves)

1. favorite characters?

i think this is basically a tie between catra and adora. i think i find them both v relatable (and hot *insert im so very sorry emoji*) and i project onto them a lot. its the whole ‘abused by a parental figure’ thing. like w adora its the whole ‘ur the golden child! have fun feeling crushed by such expectations that you can never actually live up to and feeling like your only worth is the value you have to others’ AND her adhd which i admit i didn’t notice right away bc adora can come off p type a (and i think she is type a? huh. i’m not sure i really know what type a means) but damn. this girl got adhd. she got adhd levels of stupid and thats very sexy. love that. and also catra i just. relate so strongly to her abandonment issues and her destructive tendencies and being told ur worthless n not good enough but also secretly seeking validation and acceptance from people who have hurt u :(

oh dude. this is like a fifty way tie. like every time these two bitches are on screen together the tension is palpable, love is in the air. yes we get it you two have been in love with each other ur entire lives. way to ruin it for the rest of us. some of my favorites include the lap sitting scene, the entirety of princess prom, every time they would run away from everyone else to fight in secret (gotta keep it hush hush!), every time there was a flashback scene where they were childhood best friends who were in love, every time we hear catra say ‘hey adora ;)’, that one time adora looked into a camera bot, KNEW catra was watching her somehow, said ‘hey catra ;)’ and then broke the camera, and every time she says ‘CATRA >:(’ and,,,, when catra jumped into fire for adora, when they pushed their beds close together and catra left so adora woke up almost immediately and ran after her, when adora woke up from a nightmare saw catra curled up in bed at her feet bc they weren’t dating then (and catra was supposed to sleep in the bunk bed on top of adora but she didn’t) and adora relaxed and smiled, when adora told catra I NEVER HATED YOU, when adora loved catra so much she transformed into she ra and beat up an army, when catra watched her transform and thirsted so hard, when.... fuck it, the entirety of s5, the entirety of heart part 1 and part 2 and just,,, bro. im so tired and they are living rent free in my head

i am secretly writing my own she-ra one shot so i have not read everything :( i have read a few tho. i tend to filter fics according to kudos. i won’t rec anything right now but since we know that noelle has uh..... allegedly written this fic (its number one in terms of kudos in the tag lmaoooo) i would like to recommend it because it genuinely really is good. honestly it should be the first fic any new fans of she-ra should read, to get the ball rolling!

“just dye your hair green then” you had joked, to which he responded with “bet!”

and the next night, your glove-covered hands were covered in green as you rubbed them around in chris’s hair.

he told u that his friends kept calling him broccoli chan and that he thought about punching jisung for a long time but he liked it a lot

u felt a sense of pride that u did the hair that chris liked!! yes!! go u!!

as the weeks went on, you and chris only got closer and closer.

and your feelings grew and grew.

at first, you just brushed it off as spending so much time together

but when he spent a few days at changbin’s to finish a few tracks, u found yourself missing him >:(

but jisung - that whore - wasn’t very good at listening. he started rapping what chan had written, even though they were just lyrics without a melody.

after minutes of struggling, chris YANKED his lyric book back from the buffoon, shoving it deep into his backpack.

“well you write lyrics about your boyfriend so what’s so weird about THIS?”

“we know who jisung’s boyfriend is but we don’t know who you’re writing about.” changbin stated, not even looking up from his phone.

“it’s uh...my roommate-”

“how cliche-”

“jisung you literally bumped into your boyfriend in the hallway and spilled your coffee on him. you’re the king of cliches. let the man speak.”

changbin snapped?

“um yeah it’s my roommate. y/n. they’re just….i dunno….really cool and nice and cute and...make me feel things i haven’t felt before yeah.”

jisung and changbin shared a look.

“like? butterflies in your stomach and your head’s in the clouds and you feel on top of the world when you’re with them?”

“yeah? and what about it?”

another look.

“interesting.”

jisung quickly delivered this information to his boyfriend, hyunjin.

who just so happened!

to be your ex-roommate.

so he, of course, told you.

“you’re kidding, right?” you asked, not even looking at your laptop screen where hyunjin’s goofy smile was.

“no! jisung had a hard time getting it all out, chris was being so romantic. he couldn’t look me in the eyes for like 20 minutes after.” hyunjin was looking down at his cuticles, his feet propped up on his desk.

since he moved out, this is how you guys talked the most

the door opening was just an excuse, but then the front door opened.

April 30, 2019 - Mortal Kompat Story Mode Part 3

Pat has maintenance workers over, has some sink problems. Issue is that water leaks thru his ceiling when his neighbor takes showers

The two Scropions fight. Pat: “God it’s me but stronger”

Pat wins the first round: “It’s a big fishy”

Gets attacked by other Scorpion w a good combo, wants to learn how to do that

Chat compliments Pat on his Scorpion playing abilities

Pat said he’s going to learn how to main Scorpion and Jax in this MK game. Mained Scorpion in last one

Pat comes back and asks if everyone was good (probably not)

He thought it was his roomate being a sloppy showerer, roommate asks what was up and Pat said “oh I thought it was you”. Then found water coming from lights on ceiling and got people to fix the problem

We are in the home stretch of MK, according to safetydrew

“Jax is my father”

Jax beats up a bunch of people to ‘make things right’, Pat: “Yes, yes, fuck yes”

Raiden defeats enemy, “caught and compromised” plays perfectly over the scene [Watch Clip]

Liu Kang got norted by himself (absorbed?? Into one body?? I think????)

Liu: “You will have to kill me” Raiden: “I would rather save you” Chat cheers for them to kiss

Raiden and Liu Kang fuse and become a God???? What???????????

Character rips a person’s heart out, Pat: “He just ripped his fucking hort out.” Chat spams “hort”

Super Liu floats in the sky, sends a meteor out and kills a bunch of monsters

Super Liu super punches more monsters

Time starts rewinding, Fire God Liu Kang fights Kitana, then some more people

Lots of fighting in this Mortal Kombat game

During Cetrion fight, Pat: “She just grew a tree just to nail me to it.”

Cetrion gives her soul to Big Evil Lady Mom

MikeAM advises Pat to just do a bunch of flying kicks during the boss battle

“WOW she mean, woofadoof”-- Pat @ the final boss

Pat says he will never fight with honor

Pat fails the fight, Liu Kang gets his head chopped off

Donkey Kong has Died plays as the head rolls (We’ve unlocked the basketball timeline)

Pat thinks about trying the easier mode if he fails a few more times

Hops into the settings to turn on easy mode

Evil Lady (Kronica) turned into Johnny Cage in the middle of the fight??

Fire God Liu Kang and Evil lady go up to spAAACEEEE

Kronica says she’s better than Liu Kang bc he’s a god and she’s a titan?? I thought it went the other way

Pat comments on how it’s weird to have Johnny Cage fight for her at points in the battle

Pat finally wins the match, Kronica gets turned to glass and shattered. The Caught and Compromised clip plays

Now Liu Kang is in charge of watching over the Earth realm, mortal Raiden helps (“Raiden's gonna diiee”)

Game ends just like that, credits roll, Pat: “Oh that’s it, that’s how it ends?!”

Comments on how the next MK can be about literally whatever they want, bc this game set it back to square 1

Cassie apparently has a fatality where she can kick someone in the nuts and have their skeleton pop out “that’s really good”

Pat’s gonna start picking characters to learn moves of and train w them

Pat says apparently there’s three different endings. Not major changes, just is dictated by how long it takes you to defeat the final boss

He got two (2) new maps

Wants to learn the kicking people in the nuts to make their skeleton pop out lmao

Looked up the Cassie fatality and tries it

Pat doesn’t know how much he should drink before going to see the new John Wick. He’s going w Ryan at the Alamo (I assume a theatre)

Pat doesn’t know whether or not there’s going to be fights in this area, or if it’s just opening chests

He still thinks he’s going to work w Scorpion and Jax to get good at to learn combos (also probably Jacqui). Wants to do a group play session at some time
