I feel sentimental I'm sorry but–

You don't know how happy these stupid guys make me, I don't know why, simply seeing them causes me immense joy in any circumstance, in any medium, they make me smile at my worst moment.

It's funny because when I read Hell Park for the first time I completely ignored them, and my favorite character was Tweek (which is why he is the protagonist of my AU Coven Park), but for some reason when I read Hell Park again, their dynamic caught my attention and I loved them.

Gregory and Estella inspired me immensely, even daring to make my own AU just because of them, what for me was a way to avoid problems and harassment became something ambitious that I am currently working on and trying to give my all.

and not only that, they also inspired me to create my ocs and an equally ambitious story that I have in mind, in case anyone was wondering, these are the ocs that I mainly based on Gregory and Estella to create them lol

And all that thanks to two stupid characters from a canceled South Park AU, honestly, I don't know how I would be if I hadn't met them, it's impossible for me to imagine knowing that they have influenced my life from the end of 2021 until today, this was one of my first drawings 🥲

I know that the issue of the Gregstella ship is somewhat dense, although I don't classify it as "problematic" because I consider that it doesn't even reach that sick level that they want to label it so much. And I know that I am perhaps the most directly responsible for having popularized the ship, and I apologize for that, it was not my intention to attract weird people, because yes, I have seen that quite questionable people have come to like the ship, or at least less so on this side of the pond, but I refrain from interacting with them because I simply don't want to and I have seen very unpleasant things coming from those people.

I would be lying if I said that I no longer like hp gregstella, I think it is something inevitable, even knowing that it is wrong, it is something that I cannot help, but nevertheless, I no longer urge people to ship them, but I also do not harass those who they do it. I think people can do whatever they want as long as it doesn't cross the boundaries of what is considered healthy. So yeah, I still kinda like hp gregstella, but I doubt I'll make content of them in the future, maybe I never will (and I never actually did, other than edits), maybe I'll start drawing them again more frequently since the annoying comments stopped, but I will never make hp gregstella content, but if I do one day, at least you will see it coming i guess 🤧

To the point I no longer care what people think of me, nor do I care to be in the Hell Park fandom, but I am aware that a large part of the fandom likes my art and inevitably I am part of it, so it also makes me happy that people appreciate my drawings despite everything, I love you, especially to the gregstella shippers who follow me and who I talk to (who are mostly lesbians just like me, a little ironic lol) 😭💕

I just want to do what makes me happy, and if people are bothered by what makes me happy, you can just block me, no hard feelings. I will continue drawing my silly couple, because it is the closest thing I will experience to love, being aromantic, I like to write couples with interesting dynamics, but being part of one? No thank you 😦

marauders era ships

i feel like there are multiple layers to marauders ships and what order i think most people discover then in.

-the first is beginners marauders era like wolfstar or jily like entry level stuff (still good ships though)

-but then you star reading fan fiction and find out about marylilly or doraline (most of the lesbian ships star getting obsessed over here)

-then you read more well known fan fiction (like atyd) and start shipping a hp character and a character in that fic (like grant x remus)

-but then you find out about the Slytherin skittles and you start shipping Batylus or rosekiller things in that realm

-but then you cross the ss with mrauders getting jegulus and pandalily kind of ships (this and the last one may get squashed together and happen at the same time)

-then after that you may find you start shipping throuples when your ships start crossing over (like jegulilly)

then you figure out you basically ship every one but that few couples you cant find it in yourself to get on board with though you love the characters.

HP Rec Fest, Day 30

Here we come with more @hprecfest! Today I’m only reccing rare pairs since I couldn’t think of any pre-canon Drarry fics 🤔 I wonder if canon divergent / canon rewrite applies?? I don’t read them often either way, so I figured this would be a good opportunity to boost lesser known fics. I think this is my favorite rec post for the fest so far - there’s something so poetic in reccing these two specific fics alongside each other since Little Compton Street verse was my first (unforgettable, devastating) contact with Prongsfoot and 5 years later here I am reading them again - this time welcoming the pain. More embarrassing emosh blabbing below!

Day 30) a pre-canon fic:

empire builders by shecrows (James/Sirius, E, 25k)

Say, James, he rehearses in his head. Remember that time we were both roaring drunk at the end of term, and you put your cock in my mouth, and I came so hard I still get tingly thinking about it? Was that just a one off, d’you think, or did you want to do it again sometime?

Prongsfoot my beloved 😭😭😭 sometimes I feel like I’ll never feel as strongly about a ship as I feel for them which sounds so crazy because I don’t even read it! or, well. after being utterly ruined by Winter of ‘79 (curiously a fic within LCS verse as mentioned below) I promised myself I wouldn’t look for this ship anymore bc the inevitable tragedy of it depressed me way too much. I locked them away in a secret space deep within my heart and only allowed myself to re-awaken those feelings this year, with the brilliant empire builders. what a fic! a few lines in and I was hooked and completely obsessed with Sirius’ unbelievably spot on voice, the peak friends to lovers dynamics, and the unbearable sexual tension mixing guilt and devotion (my favorite shippy combo btw). fuck, they are so young and so lovable, and so attuned to each other it makes me wanna cry. never before a 25k fic has felt so short, I’ve read it in a frenzy and couldn’t stop thinking about their love for days. the best word to describe my state after this fic is “tormented” which might as well be the best compliment I’ve ever given in a rec.

Play Me Like A Love Song by @writcraft (Minerva/Will, E, 67k)

Minerva McGonagall doesn’t believe in love at first sight, which is why her instant attraction to drag king Wilhelmina ("Will") Grubbly-Plank is so unexpected. War tears apart the wizarding world and as one battle ends Minerva and Will must fight once more, this time for the lives of their friends on Little Compton Street. A love story spanning five decades defined by music, laughter and tears, in which love is not always easy, but it’s always worth fighting for.

truly a masterpiece of lesbian fiction, this fic is more like a religious experience, bold, brutally honest, romantic, eye-opening and necessary. I never thought I’d care so much for a ship like Will & Minerva but they worked their way inside my heart and I’m deeply moved by how their story encompasses everything that’s inherent to the queer experience: love, loss, resistance and hope. there’s so much joy and grief walking hand by hand, and it is our privilege to watch the characters mature and experience life as individuals and as a couple. Writ crafts oh so thoughtfully two stunning character studies (Minerva’s voice omg, please don’t @ me on my competence kink) while taking us by the hand into the magical universe of Little Compton Street, which is so completely irresistible and healing. I adore the atmosphere, the imagery, the soundtrack, and how this seductive setting allows them to explore their queerness in such a free, proud and joyful way *getting emosh* I feel like nothing I add here will make this story justice, it’s such a poignant and transformative fic but sadly deeply underrated like it happens to so many wlw tales. I hope this rec inspires at least one person to check it out and while at it please also check the entire series with a Drarry piece and a Prongsfoot piece, a perfect trifecta!

786,190 (400k of which was in 2022? what a year)

3. What fandoms do you write for?

star wars (original trilogy + the mandalorian mostly), hp (marauders) and good omens. I have some glee fics from ~2013 but we don't talk about those

4. What are your top five fics by kudoss?

A grave mistake my most beloved <3 red lips and rosy cheeks right back where we started from brush the sky (wild considering it's for such a rare pair but i did start writing it 10 years ago) help me hold onto you (i had no idea this had got so popular! i love this fic so much i'm so pleased)

5. Do you respond to comments?

i am absolutely horrendous at responding to comments. my ao3 inbox is at 544 unread i'm so sorry

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

oh hands down never doubt that it was real which was full of all my tragic comphet feelings before i realised i could just fix canon instead

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

hmm well excluding fluffy oneshots it would probably be red lips and rosy cheeks which is tooth rottingly sweet

8. Do you get hate on fics?

i got a LOT of angry comments on a grave mistake. there were people who were really really mad bc they took one character's side or were outraged at infidelity which was wild to me because that is literally what the fic is about it says right there in the summary + tags. i also had someone get angry at me for using the tag comphet for an m/m fic because it was originally a term coined for lesbians. people were wild on that fic i've also got a couple of really vicious comments/anons about me'usharim bc it's set in israel. truly, the audacity to write a jewish story set in a jewish country

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

i've written most kinds of smut in terms of gender/emotional context/relationship dynamic, but i've never done anything kink-related and probably never will

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

no i do not but i have a tenth or fourteenth doctor/good omens au circulating in my mind at all times

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

no but i'd love if someone did! i'm very slowly working on translating charm work into french honestly bc i wanted to see if i could

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

yes! it's so much fun! i wrote architects anonymous with @sliebman10 as part of the hp 2022 mixed up writers fest where we took it in turns to write a chapter without planning the plot together. then @impishtubist and i thought it would be fun to bring our own chaos to that idea and figures of delight (drawn after you) was born

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

what's life without a little risk which i want to finish soo much but i have no idea where i'm going with it. my writing style has changed so much, my characterisation of remus is fundamentally different, and i've written so much of what would happen next in other stories. i kinda just want to find a way to wrap it up at this point

16. What are your writing strengths?

hmmm... I think realism in terms of depicting emotions and relationships. I've been told I'm really good at writing intense smut which isn't something I ever thought would be a strength 😂 but I'll take it. also making story settings really immersive, especially when the setting is central to the plot like red lips and rosy cheeks or right back where we started from. i have a lot of fun with that

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

slipping into gratuitously flowery language or emotional intensity. a grave mistake was soooo intense and it really changed my writing style so now i have to constantly remind myself that sometimes i need to chill tf out

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

i do this all the time! red lips and rosy cheeks had french, italian, hebrew and arabic and it was soooo much fun. i also write quite a of mando'a into mandalorian fics. i think it adds a lot to the story and i love reading fics with multiple languages dropped in

19. First fandom you wrote for?

doctor who (which is not on ao3 thank god)

Hey!

This is my foray into making a proper pinned post that would actually contain some tidbits about me!

I hail from the frozen lands of Northern Europe and outside of my passion for reading lesbian romance: music, culture, video games, psychology, self-expression, ducks and dragons are close to my heart.

My current helpless brainrots are the Wenclair (Wednesday) and MerulaxFemMC (HP Hogwarts Mystery) fandoms, but I've had many a ship over the years that I still hold near and dear and revisit from time to time, but these current two are probably gonna pretty much invade my page (mostly Wenclair).

(Edit: Who am I kidding? It's ALL Wenclair, and I'm not sorry~)

I'm also looking to finally indulge myself in my long-time desire to actively write and publish my brainrot, and when that happens, I'll probably shamelessly plug it over here. At the moment I'm working on at least a couple different Wenclair Shortfics, but my notes are also desperately filling up with some longfic ideas. I'm looking to tackle anything longer seriously only after I've gotten some actual works published and gotten comfy with my creative process however. Until any of that happens though, enjoy my short-form Tumblr posts gushing over those two!

5. Frankie Bergstein. The most gentle soul out there, hilarious whether she wants to be or not, an incredibly loving and warm character who ends up falling in love with a woman who's shown her nothing but disdain most of their lives before they end up in the same shitty situation. What i especially love about her is that in my headcanon where that show didn't queerbait us to death, she's the bold and crazy one who doesn't care about other people's opinion, she's the one you'd expect to be brave and loud and clear about how she's in love with her best friend and it's not just platonic. But i actually love the idea that she might be the one struggling most with that realization and how to act on it, because she used to be so open and loving of everything and everyone (and still seems that way) for the seven decades before the show starts ; and she got her heart broken so badly from the twenty year old affair, that although she did get attached to Grace quickly enough and jokes about being more than friends all the time, she's deadly afraid of those feelings and what may come of them. I absolutely love this strong and funny and silly woman on the outside, who hides a much more vulnerable and frightened woman on the inside, who deserves all the lifetime of love and affection Grace has never allowed herself to feel or show anyone.. until now, post-canon !!

4. Crawley, my actual demon child, who is way too good for this world, and the other two he's visited. (And i've been torturing myself for a solid half hour trying to pick between him and his equally amazing boyfriend Aziraphale, and ended up flipping a coin for it. I'm sorry Aziraphale. I love you so much.) Anyways, back to Crawley and his ridiculous crush on an angel that makes him do crazy things such as going to actual heaven to save said angel's ass, and who embodies Iris by the Goo goo Dolls so perfectly it's a lil suspicious and he probably had smth to do with that song coming to life while he was under cover on Earth. I love a tv show that brings a book to my attention, i loved both of those media and i cannot wait for season 2.

Charity Dingle, chaotic bisexual icon if i ever saw one !! haven't had a chance to catch up with the soap since the Vanity shit hit the fan, but i'll get back to her one day because i miss the truly Slytherin Queen that she is (sorry for the HP mention but it belongs to us now, fuck JKR and terfs in general). Pretty sure she's the most flawed character in this list, but i apparently LOVE a queer anti hero ? She's a lot of things and not all of them good ; she's a cheat, a liar, a bad mom most of the time, selfish and venale and has trust issues towards everyone and herself the size of a mountain. She's also a survivor of terrible abuse, a fighter, a love-starved but deeply insecure person who won't let that be seen easily. She's the only such representation i've ever seen of a wlw woman esp in a popular soap, and her simply existing gives me so much hope that society might just be evolving in the right direction ? Idk man, on the good days where i still have faith for lgbt future, she sorta gives me hope for our queer lives to become part of the norm and not just sensational and weird.

2. Regina Mills from OUAT. What a great show with a great lesbian power couple and awesome message about queer families, or so i'm yelling somewhere in that parallel universe where the two cowards who wrote it grew courage instead of magic beans and made Swan Queen canon. I grew to love this character, it wasn't love at first sight (although def lust at first sight, shout out to them Evil Queen gowns) and now i'm trying to write self indulgent fics from her pov and day dreaming about all the things she deserved that she never got. Best redemption arc (apart from my #1 down there maybe) i've ever seen, a full badass bitch energy. Sidenote, Lana Parrilla being the biggest and loudest Swan Queen supporter in the cast felt suspicious to me in the beginning (idk, i don't get me either), but i'm finally at a point where i can fully appreciate how awesome that was of her.

1. Obv my number 1 queer bitch forever is ROOT from Person of Interest, it's been 6 years and i'm still in denial of the byg trope they pushed down my throat a meer day after she finally got her tiny sociopathic soulmate back. She was a lot of things that i can't detail or i would die from dehydration bc the tears would consume my entire stock of water, but she also happened to appear in a TV show i actually loved. I mean i did start watching strictly for the gayness i vaguely knew was ahead, let's be real, but POI is a show i really came to love so much even when she wasn't a main character. It touched me deeply, and i still rewatch it and get blown away by the genius of so many of its episodes, from the mind blowing plot twists to the soundtrack. I had so many kids on that show and loved them all so much, just thinking about it hurts... We were robbed of a Shoot reboot, and i'll leave it at that.

(look at her being so passionate and right and fierce and hot. loooooook. i would have followed her into battle from day one of her psych ward escape 😢 )
