I’ve felt bad that I haven’t answered you yet! I’m working on finishing the AFO & Yoichi fic that I’ve posted snippets of before I give you a nice little ficlet.

HOWEVER

I thought I’d share some headcanons for this little AU you’ve introduced! I hope you like them! You are more than welcome to Ask again if you have any further ideas or thoughts on it!

(Whoops. I wrote the wrong name for AFO at first. Now it's edited)

+The Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome(the term for what happened with AFO absorbing more nutrients than Yoichi and which also means they are identical) never happened. They are born LOOKING identical and a mix between canon AFO and Yoichi. Height probably in-between the two and maybe hair only coming down to their lower ears? AFO still has his red eyes and Yoichi has his green representing the dichotomy of their power.

+AFO named himself Daiki and also named Yoichi just like in canon. Daiki can mean “big” so I thought it would be a great name for AFO to pick out since he still sees himself as the “Big Brother” of the two of them.

+They were still whisked away by water and ended up on a shore, but were found by meta sympathizers that took them to an orphanage that protects meta children. They never had to grow up on the street, but they also developed an interdependent relationship. They grew up in the orphanage until coming of age. I think some twin shenanigans would happen when living in the orphanage. Maybe the orphanage also sent them to school?

+If sent to school as teenagers maybe, just maybe, they encounter Kudo and Bruce?

+This is a headcanon in the fic I’ll be posting: Their Quirks work together. Daiki(AFO) is able to take Quirks with his right hand and Yoichi can give Quirks with his left. They are able to transfer Quirks between each other by holding hands and combining the holes(Yoichi’s right hand; Daiki(AFO)’s left hand) in their palms.

+Their personalities are still relatively similar to their canon counterparts, but dampened(mostly AFO) by not having to grow up on the streets and never finding the comic books as morally ignorant children. Maybe they found the comics later and still enjoy them together, but Daiki(AFO) never became the monster he is in canon.

+Yoichi is the submissive twin. Daiki controls the majority of what they do. But, in actuality, (just like canon) it’s Daiki that needs Yoichi more than Yoichi needs Daiki. He’s actually really weird about any sort of separation between them. He’s obsessed with them being “two bodies, two minds, one soul” ala ‘Dead Ringers’. This dude is creepy, but Yoichi has nothing to go off of.

That’s what I have right now. I probably have more if people ASK. I’ll get to the ficlet when I can. Thank you SO much anon for a great headcanon work!

He would either throw you a picnic as a surprise, special occasion, or just as a planned date.

Regardless of how he asks you on it, this man goes ALL. OUT! The WHOLE shebang!

He is a S.I.M.P

So he'll pick the spot-which would most likely be a warm, sunny and flowery field so you and him can get the perfect view of the sky and get away from the loud sounds of the city!

Then he will prepare ALL of the food! He will pack your favorite dish, some of yours and his favorite snacks, and two Kool-Aid bottles (And some water just in case that's what you want).

And finally he'll pack a nice blanket for you two to sit on!

While you guys are eating he will treat you like a QUEEN even if it isn't a special occasion.

Listen up men! it doesn't need to be a special day to show affection to your girlfriend/boyfriend/themfriend! Like it's not that hard!

So you two will talk for HOURS even after you ate everything!

Sometimes you'd just end the date there and he'd walk you back to your house!

However sometimes you two will stay out there til it starts getting dark, snuggling into each other's sides and cuddling while you watch the sunset.

And even later after THAT you two will lie curled up beside each other and just stare up at the dusk sky and look at all of the stars as they slowly start showing themselves.

Then at the end of the night/date he would give you a kiss and tell you how much he loves you!

What if Midoriya was hit by a quirk erasing bullet?

I desperately need someone to write this. It’s been swimming around in my head, but I know my talents, and creative writing isn’t one of them, so I’m putting it up here:

Give me a fic where Midoriya gets hit by a quirk erasing bullet.

Because here’s the thing – Midoriya’s whole life and purpose is heroics. But until he miraculously received One-for-All, literally no-one believed he could ever be a hero, and there’s a good chance Midoriya didn’t really believe he could do it either. We all know that a quirk isn’t what makes Midoriya a hero. But in the mind of child whose life was hell until he got a quirk, you can’t convince me that the only reason Midoriya thinks he has value and purpose and friends now is because of said quirk (afterall, it’s the only variable that’s changed right? He’s still the same he’s been his whole life when he was bullied and was friendless, things only got better when he got a quirk, so obviously the quirk is the only thing that actually matters (not Midoriya, not really, but that's ok. He'll do anything to be a hero, and one day he'll pass the quirk on to someone who was actually born to be a hero and didn't luck into it like he did).

But the quirk, the magic cure that fixed everything wrong with his life is gone. Not only that, All Might himself intrusted him with this quirk and he lost it (there will be no tenth user. One-for-all is gone and it’s Midoriya’s fault. He can't look All Might in the face anymore. He should have chosen Mirio as his successor). And suddenly all that growth and confidence and happiness he’s gained since he got into UA is gone because the quirk is gone (that’s the only reason anything changed, why anyone cared and now it’s gone) and now things will go back to the way they were and he can’t live like that, not again not when he knows how good it can be. (But it’s all his fault anyway, he has never been anything but useless, even if it was nice to pretend for a while that he wasn't).

Give me an Aizawa Shouta who is doing everything he can to try and support his Problem Child, but unwittingly making it worse, because no-one told him that Midoriya grew up Quirkless. He tells him to take time, pulls him from hero training (because he knows Midoriya, knows a lack of a quirk won’t stop him throwing himself in danger, but Midoriya’s eyes have been so dead since he lost his quirk and Aizawa is worried, and his Problem Child needs to heal). Midoriya attends the mandated counselling sessions. He doesn’t tell the therapist that he knows she’s reading word-for-word from resources for supporting quirkless children. He knows it’s word-for-word because he’s memorised practically every resource on quirklessness since he was diagnosed (they’re all bullshit). The therapist tells him that being Quirkless isn’t the end. Midoriya smiles and nods and swallows the scream that she has no idea what it’s actually like (The words taste like poison. That’s ok, he’s not sure he’s really alive anymore anyway). Mirio tries to cheer him up by saying it's not that bad. Midoriya doesn't have the heart to tell him the truth (or maybe Mirio will be fine. Maybe quirklessness isn't the problem, maybe the problem has always been Midoriya).

Give me a Katsuki Bakugou who has grown and matured and realised that the way he treated Izuku, the way others let him treat Izuku wasn’t right. He hadn’t noticed just how much better and happier Midoriya had become at UA until suddenly Midoriya is acting like he used to at Aldera and it’s so wrong. (Kacchan calls him Deku and Midoriya goes still and small and don’t antagonise him, don’t draw his attention. He calls him Izuku after that and somehow that’s so much worse).

Give me a Midoriya whose dreams have been crushed because he’s not a naïve 14 year-old anymore. He’s seen how hard it is to be a hero and everyone was right. You can’t do that quirkless (and if they were right about that, well they were probably right about everything else weren’t they? Jump off the roof and see if you get a quirk in the next life). Give me a Bakugou that pulls Midoriya aside and tells him you’re wrong, you are a hero, you were always a hero and you’re going to let something as small as a bullet stop you? and You’re going to be at the top right along with me Deku. And Midoriya is furious at first because the last thing he ever wanted was Bakugou’s pity (Fuck you shitty Deku, you think I’m saying this to make you feel better?! I’m saying it because it’s fucking true, and you ain’t gonna hear me say it ever fucking again).

And really that’s all he’s ever needed isn’t it? Someone who really, truly believes he can do this (Kacchan believes in him. That’s more than enough for him to believe in himself too).

Midoriya pulls out every Hero Analysis for the Future book, every half-sketched thought or design on how he could be a Quirkless hero and he runs with it (Hatsume is over the moon with all the new ideas for her babies and what better way to secure her name in the history books than her gear seeing a quirkless hero to the top?). Midoriya shows up to hero training with an arsenal on his back and fire in his eyes, and Aizawa grins like a devil at the sight because there’s that spark he was so worried had disappeared along with the quirk (Midoriya is worried that Aizawa will tell him no. Aizawa proceeds to identify every potential issue and weakness with Midoriya’s new ensemble and recommends solutions and offers training for his new style going forward. He knows a thing or two about fighting quirkless). Midoriya hasn’t cried since he lost One-for-All. He cries when Aizawa makes it clear that he still thinks Midoriya has potential.

And here’s the thing. When he wasn’t dealing with the latest villain attack, Midoriya had poured every ounce of his time, energy and training into controlling One-for-All. (What was the point in developing anything else? Everyone made it abundantly clear that quirks were what made a hero). But he knows that being a quirkless hero will be hard and so he throws everything at it. No-one who knew Midoriya would think he was stupid. But ever since All Might had given him his chance, he had been prioritising brawn over brain. Everyone is about to learn how terrifyingly brilliant he can be when the brains come first (Nedzu is thrilled. He is also very, very, glad that Midoriya is so unfailingly good. Villains have been made from far less and Midoriya would make a very dangerous villain).

Maybe the quirk erasing bullet is permanent. Maybe it isn’t. In the end it doesn’t matter. Midoriya will be a hero.

Time Amnesia AU

An au like many other time travel fix it fics. The future is fucked up so in order to to save it and everyone else Midoriya travels to the past however this time around he gets amnesia on the way back.

If you’re thinking what’s the point of being from the future if you forget the future? I’d imagine in this au while Midoriya lacks the memory of the future he still has like muscle memory things of things. Like an unconscious knowledge.

Midoriya doesn’t notice anything off really class is just strangely easy. And to him he has always ran in the mornings.

He might look at the trash beach and wow I thought this was clean or I cleaned it before? And then just waves off the strange thought.

Everyone else notices however that Midoriya has changed.

His Mother wonders when he started working out.

Bakugou for some reason pays attention to Midoriya despite not liking him and the improvement in both academically and physically gots him pissed off.

One For All could go many ways.

He could either had it taken back with him and safely in his body or it could have gone back to All Might.

Imagine if OFA/ the vestiges did remember?

The internal freaking out when they realize the Midoriya their ninth didn’t remember a single thing from the future.

If they’re not with Midoriya I assume they find a way back to him. The transfer of the quirk requires the users will right ?? Well there are plenty of users in the quirk wanting to pass it onto Midoriya I doubt they need to run it by All Might.

Like with other things using OFA full cowling was like second nature to Midoriya so while he didn’t remember having a quirk he would use it a lot a lot unintentionally.

When he cleans the beach this time around doesn’t realize he’s using OFA to help him out each time. Even if he starts at 1 percent it slowly goes up.

I imagine it taking a long time for people to realize he has a quirk much less himself. But suddenly he’s lifting that car to help a child get their toy that rolled under?

Dodge ball gets dangerous with Midoriya because he is always giving it his all and now everyone low key wish they picked him to be in their team.

Anywho I just think the idea is amusing.

I know you asked for prompts a bit ago so I hope you don’t mind me jumping in here! But I wanted to offer up a cute idea that I’ve been thinking about with the twins (Afo and yoichi) in a kinder world/fix it of some kind. I may use this idea in the future too, so i hope you don’t mind me sharing anyway ^^’ without further ado, here it is!

Once someone explains to the twins that they are in fact twins, even IDENTICAL twins, they start pretending to be the other at times. Although everyone can tell who is who - not only because of the way they wear their hair, but also because Afo is significantly taller than yoichi. And also because when the twins try to play this trick, they can’t stop laughing.

I’m imagining this when they are young, but feel free to do with this what you will! Hope you are doing well!!!

HA! It would be hilarious if they tried to pull the “we’re identical twins” shtick, but they still look different like in canon.

(Here’s just a quick, cute thingy for ya! I’m using Daiki for AFO’s name from the other ask!)

Daiki, giddy and trying to suppress a smirk, quickly sat at the desk. He tugged his blue shirt down after it pulled up due to hardly fitting him and his slacks were almost unbearably tight. He ignored the outfit best he could because this was going to be hilarious!

As his classmates filed in, Daiki covered his snicker as he waited for his twin brother to make his appearance. Finally, Yoichi came in last and, wearing a huge grin, sat down at another desk. He too wore a blue shirt and matching slacks though his didn’t bunch up or look overly tight, something Daiki purposely ignored.

Their teacher came in and smiled at the class, her eyebrow arching as she noticed Daiki and Yoichi.

“Oooookay, class, we’re going to take roll call. As normal, let me know you’re here when I call out your name!”

She began to go down the list until she arrived at the Shigaraki brothers.

“Daiki?”

Giggles escaped Yoichi’s lips as he raised his hand and said “Present!”. Their teacher blinked as she looked between Daiki and Yoichi.

“And…Yoichi?” She asked with an edge of exasperation.

“Present!” Daiki answered between his chortles.

Their teacher sighed and covered her face. From behind her hand she said, “Daiki. Yoichi. Sweethearts. I know you guys are twins—”

“Identical twins!” They shouted in unison.

“Yes, technically identical, but—”

“You two are crazy! You guys look almost nothing alike! Isn’t that your fault, Daiki?” One of the boys said which resulted in the majority of the class breaking out into raucous laughter.

Daiki pushed the chair out from under him strong enough to crash into the desk behind his and was in front of the obnoxious kid in mere seconds. He towered over the boy, as he did all the other kids in the class, and glowered down at the now shaking child.

“I’m sorry. I don’t think I heard you right.” He growled.

The boy put up his hands and stuttered, “You two are identical! You two are identical!”

Daiki’s fake smile took up the majority of his features. “Thank you!”

“Daiki, leave him alone! And please tell me you have a change of clothes! My God, you two are going to be the death of me.”

Yoichi looked between the teacher and his brother, who had made his way back to Yoichi’s actual desk.

Innocently, he asked, “How did you tell us apart?!”

Kidnapped at Infancy AU, Mitsuki & Bakugou, child abuse

Twelve years ago...the tiniest, most perfect creature in her arms, the labor pains inconsequential and the world around them mute and left wanting in peaceful face of her child--Mitsuki’s baby boy. And than a nurse had come, cheerful and congratulatory, and taken her little Katsuki for a routine checkup. Mitsuki had been reluctant but trusting, eased by the promise of an hour only before her boy was back in her arms and her husbands reasoning that they must do whatever was best, even if it meant a disturbing emptiness in her arms and against her chest for a little while.

She’d felt that disturbing emptiness for twelve years. Twelve long years she and her husband had grieved and searched and blamed and reconciled the disappearance of their son. And now, every moment--every trauma, that earth-shattering feeling at the moment she’d realized what had happened and that someone had taken her baby--comes flooding back in at the sight of a grubby, angry boy with fluffy blond hair and ruby red eyes staring at her from across the sidewalk. 

Or, twelve years after her son goes missing, Mitsuki finds a boy who is so much like what she pictured he would be that she immediately grows attached. But it’s not all that easy. This boy is clearly being mistreated, wary of adults and especially this strange woman. Mitsuki is caught between her un-healed grief, consumed with the desire to find a place for all the mothering instincts that had to be packed away and forgotten for so long, and the fact that she is just a stranger and this is just some random boy. Yet still, She’s furious at the idea that after all she went through and lost that someone would dare to mistreat what she would have treasured.

and Katsuki? Well, he doesn’t know what to think. He’s never really known what it’s like to be loved and belong, and though this woman is strange in the way she shakes and cries and looks at him so weirdly, he can’t help but be drawn to her.
