Everybody talks about how Loki got what he deserved in the end, he killed Badlur so it's only fair . But no one talks about how Odin took his children away from him, Sleipneir, Fenrir, Hel and The snake ( sorry i forgot his name). The gods made fun of him, they used him for their benefits and befriended him only when they needed him.

Can we talk about how cruel his punishment is ?? And how he ans Sigyn has suffered??

The Structure of the Infinite Realms

This is an updated version of This old prompt I did a while back.

...

So! The Infinite Realms are not just limited to the Afterlife. In fact, the Afterlife is just a single section of the Realms, and Each Realm is ruled over by their own Kingdom with their own Godly Rulers.

Lets give an Overview of a few of the Realms:

The Far Frozen: The Far Frozen is a Realm inhabited by Yeti's, who are Pacifists by nature. Their sole focus is to develop their medical practices so they can help as many people as possible. They are rules over by the Ice God, Frostbite, a kind and just King who uses his eons of experience to help those in need. The Far Frozen are well liked by all Kingdoms in the Infinite Realms, and have very few enemies.

The Medieval Isles: The Medieval Isles are a very recent addition to the Infinite Realms, and resembles the Earth Sterotype of a Fantasy Land. It is inhabited by many different races, from Elves to Dwarves to Humans. It was previously Ruled Over by a Draconic God known as the Tyrant King Aragon, before he was overthrown by his sister, the Kind Queen Dorathea with the help of a Sir Phantom. It does not have many Enemies among the Realms, but the Fae Wilds to seem to resent that some Elves live there as opposed to their original homeland.

Olympus: Olympus is the Realm of the Greek Gods, home to all the Gods who exist in the World and used to exist. It is ruled over by Zeus. It used to be a pretty major Political Powerhouse in the Realms, but after Ares went Rouge and killed most of their Top Gods, they lost a lot of Power.

Themyscira: After the Amazon's split off from the rest of Greece, they formed their own Kingdom with Hippolyta as the Godess Queen. It exists simultaneously in both the Realms and Earth. This Kingdom is well respected, but not as old or as large as some of the others. It has about the same Political Power as Olympus currently does, if not a little less.

The Nordic Lands: This is a Realm inhabited by the Norse Gods and all their peoples. It is not ruled over by a single Race of Gods, and is split into many different Warring Factions. One is the Aesir, Ruled over by King Odin. Another is the Vanir, formerly ruled over by Njord, but now ruled by his son Frey. There are also the Lands for the Fire and Ice Giants, and so on. They hold a good amount of Political Power in the Infinite Realms, but tend to stay Neutral in most cases.

New Genesis: This is the home of the New Gods, a race of Gods who is far younger than the others. They are ruled over by High Father, one of the surviving Old Gods, and the father of many of the New Gods. They are a fairly old and powerful Kingdom in the Realms, holding much Political Power.

Apokolips: This is a Realm filled with almost exclusively Demon's. It is ruled over by the God of Evil, Darkseid, and his Court of Minor Gods. It is an Extremely Agressive and even hostile Kingdom in the Realms, but holds itself back from attacking it's fellow Godly Kingdoms in fear of Retribution. They rarely interact with the other Kingdoms or discuss political matters in Meetings, but they are still a Kingdom not to be trifled with.

The Fae Wilds: This is the Realm that is the homeland of all Faeries and such creatures, like Elves and Gnomes. It is ruled over by the Fae Gods, Oberon and Titania, who use their cunning to obtain a good standing among the other Realms and maintain a good amount of Political Power.

The Spirit Lands: This is the Realm inhabited by mostly Nature Spirits, such as Nymphs and Fire Sprites. These lands are ruled over by 4 Elemental Kings, among which are Vortex and Undergrowth. These Lands are a sort of Middle Point in terms of Political Power, not too much but not too little. Although their image has been damaged by the Impulsive personalities of a few of their Rulers.

The Miracle Lands (Miraculous Ladybug): This is a Realm inhabited by a race of Gods that represent Conceptual Ideas, known as Kwami's. They are ruled over by the King and Queen of their Lands, Tikki and Plagg, the concepts of Creation and Destruction. The Miracle Lands are one of the oldest and most powerful of the Kingdoms of the Infinite Realms, and hold some of the most Political Power in the Infinite Realms.

The Ghost Zone/The After: This was what I really made this post to do. To explain my Headcanon for how the Ghost Zone worked in the grand scheme of things, the rest was just context.

The Ghost Zone is the collective Afterlife of all the other Realms, with Major Regions of the Realms dedicated to the different Kingdoms that hold a claim to the Afterlife.

There are Large Regions of the Realms dedicated to containing the Afterlives of the Godly Realms, like the Underworld for Olympus, or Valhalla/Vanaheim/Hel for the Nordic Lands. (The Norse actually have a shocking amount of Territory in the Ghost Zone, many joke that it's because Odin and Pariah Dark liked eachother due to how similar they looked.)

Each of the Regions is ruled over by that Pantheon's own God of the Dead/Death.

Hades rules the Underworld, and commands the different sections like the Fields of Asphodel, the Fields of Punishment, Elysium, and even Tartarus to some degree.

Plagg rules the Miraculous After (the Kwami's are not very creative with names). This is an Afterlife exclusive to the Holders of the Miraculous, as well as those who use Miracle Magic without having a Miraculous, like the Guardians. Also just the followers of the Kwami's (they have a small following)

The Norse have many Rulers for their many Afterlives. Hel rules over Hel, Freya rules over Vanaheim, Odin rules over Valhalla, and even Rán has her own tiny section for drowned souls. Plus a few more small sections.

The Acropolis is the Personal Afterlife for the Amazonians, and only answers to the Queendom of Themyscira. Pandora was chosen as the new Goddess of Afterlife when this was decided, and Acsended to Minor Godhood.

And there are many more, too many to list.

All the Rulers of the Afterlives defer to the Ruler of the Ghost Zone, who holds the most Power among the Gods of Death, as basically their Landlord. That used to be Pariah Dark, but after he went insane and had to be sealed away, the Ghost Zone fell mostly to Anarchy.

While the Afterlives managed to maintain stability due to having their own Rulers, the large regions between the Afterlives did not, and Rouge Spirts began to stake their claims to small plots of Land called Haunts. The most common among these were Ghosts, but there were some Fae, Spirits, and some smaller Gods (for some reason, some of the Kings of the Spirit Lands liked to use this Area as a playground to do whatever they wanted with no consequences).

It took Millennia, but eventually Pariah Dark was released from his Prison and then Usurped by a Young Godling named Phantom. Phantom then proceeded to bring the Realms under control, maintaining a few of the newer customs thay had appeared in the wake of Pariah's Imprisoning like Claiming Haunts, but otherwise ending the Era of Anarchy in the Realms.

The Ghost Zone is the Oldest, and most Powerful of the Kingdoms of the Infinite Realms. It holds Extreme Political Power, and has the favor of many different Realms. It's hard to not have that when you are an integral part of the Balance of the Godly World.

The Battle of Hjørungavåg - for the Mythtalia March by @hwsevents

The battle of Hjørungavåg took place outside the Norwegian coast in the year 986, and was a sea battle between an invading Danish army and a defending Norwegian one. It was a battle of great national significance as the ruling Earl Håkon defended the country against the Danish King Svein Tjugeskjegg aided by the Joms Vikings, who wanted to take control over Norway and christen it.

The battle begun after some farmers tricked the Danes into believeing Earl Håkon only had 2-3 ships with him. They charged forth and got surprised by 50 ships lying in wait for them.

It was a fierce battle, and despite the element of surprise, the Norwegians suffered heavy losses early on. Most of the losses were with Earl Håkon, who fought against Svein Tjugeskjegg, a fight so intense that he had to shed his chainmail as it had become torn apart by all the weapons hitting him. Håkon's sons Eirik and Svein Håkonson fought against the Joms Vikings, Eirik saving his brother. This is when the battle turns.

Suddenly, a terrifying storm hits, with fierce waves of hail. The storm seemed almost magic and supernatural, and on the side of the Norwegians. Had the pagans used dark magic? It is said that Earl Håkon had sacrificed his 7 year old son Erling in a ritual for victory (probably false). The Earls of Lade had a connection to the female godess and spirit Torgerd Hølgebrud, who was called on whenever the family was in need. She came along with her sister and other valkyries on horses with bows and arrows, sending hail towards their enemies.

Torgerd is interpreted as an ancient fertility spirit, and these spirits are also connected with a warrior aspect. They protected certain families and are some of the oldest creatures in the pre-Christian Norse religion.

The supernatural warrior spirits was a convenient excuse for why Svein Tjugeskjegg fled the battle; it was impossible to fight against gods and trolls. It also supported the savage ways of the pagan religion.

As Svein flees, he leaves the Joms Vikings behind to be captured by the Earls. They were about to be executed by beheading, but one of them managed to get a hold of the sword and chop the head off the man about to kill him. Eirik Håkonson is impressed by this and grants them their freedom.

‘’Do you still remember this?’’ Mobius asks me. ‘’Of course I can, like it was yesterday!’’ I throw my hand up getting annoyed.

‘’I could have done it father! I could have done it!... For you! For all of us..’’ I screamed at father.

‘’No Loki.’’ Odin said calmly, looking down at me.

‘’Brother, no!’’ Thor exclaimed as he saw me slipping. I looked at both of them feeling betrayed and hurt. How could they do this to me. I sighed and looked down, letting go of Thor.

‘’Odin, what did you- Loki!?’’ Freya looked over the bridge. ‘’No!’’ and she jumped after him.

I gasp ‘’She went after me?’’ Tears briming my eyes. ‘’I need to find her Mobius!’’

‘’You can’t. You are stuck at the TVA.’’ His eyes looked…. Sad? Did he care? I stood up and grabbed his Tempad. ‘’Loki, give that back.’’ Mobius stood up, trying to take back his Tempad but he was to late. I was already gone.

‘’her memories will be lost.’’ Odin says.

Mobius ‘attention snaps back to the screen.

‘’How so?’’ Thor beams. ‘’The fall will wipe her memories. She’s not a god like us. She’s just a normal Asgardian citizen. She’s even lucky if she survives the fall.’’

Thor looks down where both Loki and Freya both fell and prays for her to make it.

‘’Ooh Loki..’’ Mobius sighs.

Kingdom Hearts OCs Alert !

Just wanted to put it there for funsies ; in the KhUX app, you have 6 slots, so I wanted to let my imagination run wild. For each desing, I went with something that was pleasing to look at (at least for me) and gave each a Keyblade that reflect them but also that did NOT appear in the Keyblade War to give them a bit more uniqueness.

Fulgur from Anguis. I wanted to keep some name conventions that are in the saga so, as you guessed it, his name means thunder in Latin. Not gonna lie, I was heavily inspired by Ramses from the Prince of Egypt.

Kinda on the nose with this one but hey, why not another floral based name for a neighbor of Strelitzia, and she was the perfect excuse to replicate the style and physique of one of the first OC I came accross.

Ethel is probably my biggest "crack fantaisy" 'cause not only is she my type but I also created her to reference the Cinderella movie with Whitney Houston. Since I didn't want her to be named Stella 'cause it was too obvious, I gave her a name that is based on the greek godess of the stars Astrée.

My original personal Keykid that I had when the game was still playable and yes, I was Ursus because Aced is the best and the Back Cover Movie only proves my point further. That aside, I wanted to give him an old sounding european name like Lauriam and Elrena and so named him Wilhelm. But everyone calls him Billy.

And here is Théa, an hommage to a close someone. Like the Norse Gods name in Dark Road and like Ethel, Théa's name is based off a greek godess, in this case Athena.

What about the sixth slot you may ask ? Well, call me purist or crazy but I kept it for the original main character...

Player ! From Unicornis ! Yes, I wanted to keep the closest answer we had for a "canon" design and replicated the look he has in Xehanort's dream in the very begining of Dark Road.

I don't have much of backstories for these Keykids, except maybe two or three "Cracks" of mine, but maybe one day I'll go in more detail.

Ares x Wife!Goddess!Reader

Warning: Ares was tormented, though not said how.

It was a normal day in the Greek Pantheon, until the 2 daughters of Ares asked him a question.

"Pa, how'd you meet Mom?"

"Yeah, we wanna know how!"

Out of all the questions he had been bombarded with, this was the most difficult to answer.

"Why would you want to know about that, don't you want to know how I fought in the Gigantomachy?", he questioned.

"We've heard stories from the other kids about how their parents met, so we wanna know how you met Mom!"

"Yeah, it's only fair!"

They looked at him with big pleading eyes, knowing well their father could not refuse at the gesture.

He could help but sigh to himself.

"Well, if you insist.", he answered.

Not as if he could say no.

"Years before the Gigantomachy, I was constantly tormented by the Giants in various ways.", he said in a solemn voice.

"How?", asked one of his daughters.

"I'll tell you the details when you get older, but all I can say for now is that it was a terrible period of my life.", he replied.

"Anyway, such torment stopped the moment your mother saved me.", he continued.

"Saved you?", both asked.

"Yeah, your mother,(Name),daughter of Odin and Frigg, Norse Godess of War, Justice, Glory and Victory. She saved me from those giants.", Ares said, smiling to himself.

"Did she beat them up?", asked one of his daughters, her eyes gleaming.

"She sure did, gave them a piece of her mind. She was so beautiful, saving me from my torment.", he answered, with a tint of pink on his cheeks.

"At that moment, I knew I fell in love with her. She was and is the love of my life.", he finished off.

"Wow, Mommy's super strong!"

"Of course she is, she even beat uncle Thor in an arm wrestle!"

"Beat who in an arm wrestle?", a voice asked.

Ares and his daughters turned around to see (Name), smiling at them. The two girls ran up to their mother hugging her tightly.

"Mommy, you won't believe what happened today!"

"Papa told us how you saved him and fell in love!"

"Oh, did he?", (Name) asked, smiling at the flustered Ares.

"Yeah, I did, but I had no other choice.", Ares said, walking up to her.

"I see, want to hear a story how I saved your father again?", (Name) asked her daughters with a smile on her face.

"Another story?!", the two girls asked with bright eyes.

Ares couldn't help but smile, happy with his daughters and the love of his life.
