Hey y’all, not to like drop my irl location or anything, but I’m in trouble and could tots use some sharing/support! Shares are IMMENSELY appreciated, and if somehow you’re an affluent person and have wanted a reason to be a monetary hero, here’s your chance!!

Basically, I go to a small-town college that has been around since the 1800s!! Like literally the 19th century, and it is so hugely for the environment and community?? Like we are a sustainable school that’s big into all types of recycling and bettering the environment—like have you ever heard of teracycling? I didn’t until I came here.

But, so, my school is in danger 💀 it’s so for the environment and the community that they forgot how expensive that can be, and are in danger to SHUT DOWN??? AT THE END OF THIS SEMESTER???!???

Guys, I am a senior. I had ONE MORE SEMESTER, I WOULD’VE BEEN GRADUATED IN DECEMBERRR!! (I wanted to double major in Graphic Design and Psychology. Schedules were a pain. Oopsies?)

And so the school is POORRRRR, we need to somehow rally up

Honestly gang since we are all poor I 100% recommend looking into the zero waste movement. A lot of the tips there have saved me money in the past. (Also I ask for reusable stuff for birthdays/Christmas so I don't have to spend money on single use items) but you don't have to spend money to get started! Use washcloths instead of paper towel, wash your ziploc bags, takeout boxes, and foil a time or 2 before you toss it, save your veggie scraps if you can afford and eat veggies (or steal your friends/families) and make a stock out of them to boil with your rice/ramen for nutrients.

Seriously though I recommend looking into it, if you look past the "you have tobuy this To be zero waste!!!" Posts there's a lot of good ideas and info

To any of my readers who are in college in the US, I highly recommend looking in Clep tests. They saved me a year of college. Basically AP credits without the class and offered by the college board. Colleges don’t advertise it because is costs them money. Each test is only $90 and are worth a minimum of 3 credits.

(Unfortunately, to my fellow grad students, this is only for undergrad)

Okay, I've tried so hard to get into TGCF l, especially cause I'm already deeply rooted into the MDZS and the SVSSS Fandom. MDZS may have been my first love, but SVSSS was my soulmate. I've read to like chapter 24, I think, but I at the time couldn't find any more translations, and I don't have money for the physical copy nor the shelve space. SOB. This is probably my only option if I ever want to finish college so it’s worth a shot. I am only 8 classes away from graduating college and getting my bachelor’s degree. This whole time I had no idea that the Pell Grant has a 6 year limit, so I thought I’d do college the “smart” way and take two classes at a time as to not overwhelm myself and make sure I could completely focus on learning the class subjects while handling work and everyday life. Except now unfortunately I am left unable to finish my classes and graduate even though I want to, and I’m still going to have to pay back loans for the classes that I did attend. I just want to finish my last 8 classes and get my bachelors degree in Advertising & Marketing Communications (which I picked because I thought I’d be able to make good money in that field while also being able to get creative and have some fun.) I’m the first and still the only person in my family to even get accepted into a college, I want to graduate so badly and I’m so close. Anything at all helps and it will all go towards tuition and books, even if I only get enough for one more semester.

I don’t really expect to get anything from this but I figured it’s worth it to try. Please share this post if you can, thank you so much 💕

Legit question being asked as I try to get my hair ready for the night: for those who went to college, is like college bullies a thing (in the US, I presume)?

Cause I see so many college bully fanfic going around (mostly in the jjk fandom) and I swear to you, in my college that wasn't really a thing, most people were just trying to survive. Sure some people were assholes, in special the more rich and elitist students, but bullies like actual high-school bullying? Nah, I saw something like this once and it wasn't one bully, it was most of the class trying to fuck with one rich annoying kid. And I say kid as in first year, some of the class were like 17.

So, is the thing in these fics like real or college as imagine by people who haven't yet gotten to college? Cause maybe it's just cause the college experience here is just too different.
