Meeting Anthea’s Team was also fun

He made the mistake apparently many have made of trying to flirt with Thea in her Holoform, a mistake that was quickly corrected when she revealed she was actually human

He also tried to flirt with Proxy, who was honestly kinda impressed. Many “full-sized” bots won’t flirt with or date minicons, so she’s definitely flattered. But she did gently let him know that she was simply too old for him. She probably would’ve agreed to a date if they were closer in age though.

He also tried to shoot his shot with his bestie from the archives Alba. This being the most disastrous attempt at flirting yet. Since not only was our lovely owl lady a lesbian. She had an over protective girl friend who attempted to claw Hot Rod’s face off.

The only reason Hot Rod lived to flirt another day was because Hot Rod, in his infinite wisdom, tried to flirt with Frost Claw and managed to get away while she was trying to comprehend the audacity this man had.

All of these failed attempts did make it back to his family. Who was more than amused at Hot Rod’s misadventures in trying to find a girlfriend. I’m sure he’ll find someone someday!

Personal Opinion: I think this story depicts one of the purest, most wholesome relationships in the YA genre. Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson are absolutely adorable together. From their meet-cute in the classroom to their developing friendship outside of school, their relationship is one anyone can admire because it’s full of mutual respect and communication. Some days are hard for Charlie though in the later comics, but with Nick by his side, he’ll make it through it. Is idealized? Maybe but I read for escapism.

Likes:

- Charlie and Nick are just plain adorable together. Charlie is just a little guy and Nick is the human embodiment of a golden retriever. That makes for a wondrous combination. Because Nick brings Charlie out of his shell and Charlie gives Nick something to fight for. 

- Nick really fights for Charlie. Everything from wanting to make sure that Charlie eats to telling off his older brother for being a bigoted dick to scaring off Charlie’s sorta-ex. That’s love.

- The scene when they were in the hotel room in Paris (I think) and Nick came out to everyone was gripping. The way everyone showered the couple with their support made me so happy. So giddy. I just loved it so much. But I admit, if the bullying was so bad for Charlie before, how did they manage to find a group that really supports them only a year later? Eh, I’m not going to question it when it makes me happy.

- I know people make fun of the show’s depiction of Nick trying to find out if he’s bi but that’s a real thing. Every queer person my age or older with access to the internet in their teens looked up those “Am I gay?” quizzes. As silly as it may seem, Nick Nelson is a very real portrayal of teen queerdom. Especially during the questioning stage. Bless his mom for accepting and loving him so easily when he came out to her.

- Victoria is hilarious. She enters panels from out of nowhere and delivers one-liners that absolutely kill me. “I don’t think he’s straight.” Girl, neither do we! Not to mention, she kicked David’s (Nick’s brother) phone out of his hand when he was talking shit and I respect the hell out of her for that. She has her brother’s back and that’s what a true sibling should do.

- All their friends are adorable too. Tao and Elle, a beautiful couple. But also, I just love how Tao is so protective over Charlie. He may have been at fault for Charlie getting outed but you can really tell that he cares for Charlie. And for Elle too.

- Then we have Tara and Darcy! Lesbeans! They’re so cute together too but also, I love how Tara is there to be a friend for Nick. Supporting him wholly while giving him advice when he needs to hear it. 

- I know this list seems short but it’s only because my head is mixing up some of the details from the show with the comics. I don’t want to say something that only happens in the show and not the comics. But speaking of the show? Just brilliant casting. Everyone looks and acts exactly like their characters do. I am still a tiny bit upset that Tao is so tall but whatever. William Gao captures his essence still.

Dislikes:

- I think we all know. It’s the homophobes (Harry) and internalized homophobe (Ben). That’s pretty much it. Nick’s brother in particular though, fuck him.

I think I am starting to ship Bonnie and Roxy I dunno I just think they look cute together that little scene between them in your fic was sweet. Then again your fic accidentally made me ship foxy and chica even though they are friends and she just misses her friend.

Yeah they would be cute! I always like to think they were really close and could have been mistaken for a couple fairly easily and at some point because of everyone assuming they were a thing, they started joking around with it. Silly arguments over nothing morphing into "I WANT A DIVORCE" kind of overdramatic soap opera arguments and stuff and it makes them laugh.

But no I can see why you could ship them! They'd be a good ship! They could dance the night away together and be the funny little couple that commits crimes every date night. Just the pair of them laughing maniacally as they skid around the Plex in a go-kart at top speed with a laser gun aimed at every staffbot they come across and ending the night with cuddles in one of their rooms on Rockstar Row.

It's always fun to throw two other characters at eachother to see what sticks like Chica and Foxy could be good too and hey if you still wanted the lesbeans then Roxy and Chica both have two hands, ya know? And why stop there? Foxy and Bonnie also have- oh wait no they have three hands between them but they could still date the others as well!

Shipping is real fun to fuck around with. Like I'm working on an AU - it's really big so I don't talk about it much here incase I never finish it - and if I were to add ships into it? The first half would so easily set up Roxy x Moon as a thing and it would be so incredibly wholesome given the nature of the AU. The second half gave me the idea of Roxy x Foxy because I thought it would be really funny to have them go from enemies to lovers over a huge stretch of time and the second they realise they love eachother they would both immediately proceed to smack their heads off a wall. That ship then becoming poly with Monty dating Foxy and Chica dating Roxy.

Ships are fun! Ship everyone! Ship no one! Ship one very specific thing! Ship anything that sounds fun! It's really entertaining to come up with dynamics and stuff for them!

You pull the long curtains open to let in the moonlight. As the pale light is strewn across the floor, you pull out your matchbox, swiping a match alight to light the candle in your hand. Your job is almost done for the evening and it is time to head back to your mistress. Holding the candle up to your face as you trail your way along the dark winding halls. You can hear creaking around you, but you make sure to keep your gaze straight ahead and refuse to turn your gaze into the shadows. It’s a routine you do every evening when the large manor wakes up for the night and those who live there become active.

You’ve been employed under the wing of vampires for a few years now. Even then, you don’t really feel safe in this house. Feeling like prey at any moment you are deemed obsolete, or show weakness. The only time you feel safe is locked inside your room, or with her.

Cordelia.

You have vibrant, all too real dreams in the times you sleep, dancing with her in the ballroom, both of you wearing elegant ball gowns. Your name on her lips as she dips you backwards and presses her mouth to your throat. You awake in a cold sweat and trembling. It is a dance you have almost every night. A strange fear and exhilaration that makes you feel nauseous. It wasn’t that you were repulsed by her, not at all, she was an alluring beauty. With snowy white hair cut short and curled, luminous eyes, voluptuous lips. But Cordelia was cold, as cold as ice that frosts the window panes. You never could tell what she had going on in her mind. Secretive and aloof, yet still she pulled on your heart strings like they are laces of a corset, tighter and tighter until you could barely breathe easy around her. There were many times where you felt she cared for you deeply. The little things that she would do or say, praising you for a job well done. Taking interest in your opinions and pursuits. It would make your heart throb in your chest painfully. But her expression would never change, she always held such an icy countenance. She could seem so cold, you could feel the air freezing in your lungs. What became of that mixed emotion was a strange deep yearning. the same yearning that would creep into your head at night. You knew it was dangerous, but still you yearned. You yearned to warm her heart, with your own.

The years in which you had worked for her, you learned a lot about her and the rest of her ménage that thrived in the household. You could feel yourself falling deeper and deeper into her mystery. But you knew how much of a mistake it would be to get even more tangled up with the residents of the house. Not that you were not already in so deep, you were not sure if you would ever see the sun again.

 You stop in front of a dark wooden door that leads to the study, gently rapping your knuckles upon it's frame. "Miss Cordelia? The curtains have been drawn as per your request." You are politely invited inside and you close the door behind you. You find that she isn’t alone in the study and you freeze. Finding yourself being studied shrewdly by a few of the other occupants of the house. You swallow but smooth out your expression, attempting to look as blank and dull as you always did. Proper, and respectable. 

Cordelia sweeps over to you, blocking you from their stares. She turns her head back to look at them, her eyes narrowing, then she turns to you. “Thank you darling, I appreciate your hard work so very much.” You give a little quirk of a smile before her clawed hand tips up your chin. You freeze, your cheeks turning rosey. She leans down, her plump and chilly lips pressing into your own. Kissing you outright in front of her others. Your face turning, redder and redder, as you catch a glimpse of the scowling faces around you. Her eyelashes flutter as she cups your face. "My dear, would you be so kind as to put on the kettle for tea?" She doesn't bother looking at them, but she keeps her pale blue eyes trained on you. Staring deeply into yours. “I shall be up in my room, I shan’t linger much longer here.

"Y-yes ma'am" You stammer, she lets go of you and your stand giving a respectful bow to the dark beings around you before making a hasty exit. You can hear soft voices beyond the door, quiet but reproachful voices. You glance behind you before your eyes lower, you feel lightheaded, you clutch your heart and close your eyes. Miraculously you are able to find your way to the kitchen in your stupor. You start a fire and set up a tray for tea, trying to forget the feeling of her lips upon your own. You busy yourself the best you can, until the water is hot. Carefully pouring the hot water into a teapot, then hefting the awkward tray into your arms.

You walk slowly to her private room, and when you knock upon the door it opens on its own. You find her lounging on her chaise. “Darling,” Her red lips purse, looking at you with a cool appraising gaze. “Did I upset you?” You look down, not wanting to meet her eyes shaking your head, “No ma’am. . .” She reaches a clawed hand out to you, shifting her thighs on the plush cushions. “Come here.” You keep your head down but do as you’re told taking her hand. Her cool countenance watches you intently as her supple lips form a pout. “Then why do you look down?” you suck in a shaky breath, “I am just. . . worried about you miss, if I may be so bold. You shouldn’t have kissed me in front of your family, they are my superiors. . . as are you.”

"I couldn't care less what they think of me and my actions." She raises her chin defiantly, "They know very well my opinions. What I am more curious about is how you feel about them." She rests a sharp finger against her cheek as she watches you.

"Me miss?" 

"Yes," she murmurs, "Perhaps I am not doing this very well, I thought I was being forward with how I felt. . . Shall I try again?" 

"I'm not following," you echo blankly, she gives another one of her pristine pouts, grabbing your hand and pulling you down with a steely grip. You feel yourself topple into her, clumsily flopping on top of her shapely form. "Miss--" You squeak before she cups your face and kisses you hard. 

You feel your head swoon. Your heart feeling like it was going to jump out of your chest. You scramble, your hands on the back of the chaise pushing yourself up. You stare at her with round eyes, your mind in disarray. “P-please, stop teasing my heart. . .” You can feel tears start to run down your face as you weep, “I can bear it no longer. . .” Her own eyes widen as she watches you cry, the emotion almost seeming foreign to her. She reaches up brushing your tears away, and you shake with a sob. “I don’t understand you, I want to, I’ve tried. S-So hard--” Cordelia’s brows furrow, she grabs your wrists again, you struggle feebly before you find yourself on her lap. You shake and tremble before her clawed fingers run through your hair. 

“Oh darling. . .” She whispers softly, “I am so sorry,” she bows her head against yours, and through your tears you can see a very faint flash of emotion grace her features. She tilts your chin up and you blink hard, “I thought I had been obvious, with my feelings for you. That I love you, and have loved you for sometime.” A strange expression flickers over her face, “It’s hard. . . to share the same emotion you do, humans are so full of emotion, and we, so distant. But please, never think that I had been tormenting your heart. I would never wish to do that to you. Please dispel those thoughts from your mind.” You stare at her giving a sniffle as you see hurt reflecting in her own eyes. Your expression cracks and you throw your arms around her, the stress and the fear and the yearning all coming out at once in a fit of sobbing and tears. You hold onto her so tightly, and her expression falters, gently holding you in her arms until you no longer can weep. Your throat sore and your breathing is labored, she fixes you a cup of tea as you sit on her lounge chair sniffling from the remnants of your outburst.

“Th-they know then,” You whisper as she settles back down beside you, “Of course, I have told them many times, that I am fond of you and wish you to be my sweetheart. They wished to argue with me about it again tonight. Saying that it is ill-advised and foolish to love one that will not be able to understand time as you, and how life is so fleeting.” She rolls her eyes, “I do not care. It is my choice, and I shall choose whom I love.” You can feel your cheeks flush, realizing the scene in the study had been an act of defiance. By the time you had come to the door, they must have been arguing for some time. And to bring her point across that she wouldn’t budge, she had kissed you brashly right in front of them. “I w-wish you would have told me. . .”  “I thought you had known, I made a mistake and assumed that my hints were being understood, it was not right of me to treat you in that way.” She pauses before looking at you, “So I hope you shall converse with me now. . .” Her hand takes yours gently as she kisses your fingers. “I know not of how you feel about me. . . only that I have made you cry tonight. I never want that to happen again. I don’t think I could bear to see your pretty eyes full of tears.”

Your heart feels like it is pounding up your throat, as your reach for her cheek. Your hand shakes as you pet her lips, before you cup her chin and kiss her sweetly. She holds your waist and tugs you to her, and your arms gently slide around her sloping neck. The two of you kissing over and over until you have to turn away, to catch your breath. You shiver, as you feel her lips press against your neck. “Cordelia?” Your voice wavers unsure, her clawed fingers gently trace your throat as she leans up, “Worry not my love. . . I shan’t mark you until you wish me to. That will be a time when you are ready and unafraid.” A small smile tugs at her lips, “Though I do wonder what my family will say then. . . you best wear a scarf around your neck thereafter, or it may lead to scandal.” You feel your eyes go round at such a thought, and she gives the softest little laugh.

Little by little, she is warming to you, you can see more emotion move across her stoic visage. And you could start to see the little things that you had missed before, the sweet doting things and the little steps she would take to make sure you were comfortable and feeling safe in the dark house. Though being the rebellious woman that she was, she always made it a point to kiss you passionately when one of the ménage was nearby. It would frightfully embarrass you and once or twice you would catch the faintest of smiles on her lips as her eyes shone with a flash of mischievousness.

Are you in love with me?

This can’t be happening, Slytherin thinks as he approaches her slowly. I shouldn’t have run out of the room. He can talk to other girls if he wants to, it doesn’t matter to me. 

Her anger dissolves into something else. It is another feeling—one that she’s afraid to address. 

A thought breaks free from the confines of her stubborn heart. 

But it does.  

Hufflepuff lifts his hand to caress her cheek, effectively making her mind go blank. 

“Are you in love with me,” he asks softly.  

Slytherin swallows with difficulty, her heart pounding. He’s so close she can make out the tiny speckles in his earthy brown irises. “No.” 

There’s a moment in which they stand there in silence, and the universe holds its breath. It exhales when Hufflepuff leans in and kisses her so sweetly that she is left dazed after they pull apart. She doesn’t remember tangling her fingers into his hair nor can she recall the moment he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her impossibly closer as their lips moved in unison. 

His gaze lingers on her parted lips. 

“Are you in love with me now?”  

Slytherin lets out a small laugh, and he revels in the warmth of her breath brushing against his skin.  

“Not yet,” she murmurs, her cheeks kissed with a tint of rosy pink. “Ask me again tomorrow.”   

A smile tugs at the corners of his mouth. “I’ll put it at the top of my to-do list.” 

She hums happily. “And you?” she muses. “Are you in love with me?”  

“I’ll have to think about it.” He gives her a grin, one so warm and utterly Hufflepuff-like that she feels as though she will melt in his arms. “I suppose you’ll have to ask me again tomorrow. Until then, I’m gonna kiss you.”

Hufflepuff smirks when she raises her eyebrows, slightly taken aback by his bluntness. 

“You know,” he tilts her chin up, “for decision-making purposes.” 

Her heartbeat quickens.

hey :/ i started to realize that i was a trans man around the same time my ex realized he was, too. we came out to each other and he thinks i’m copying him. advice??

We’ve gotten versions of this question from folks on both sides in the past. People have said things like “I came out and then my little sister came out, I think she’s copying my gender/identity and I don’t like it!” and folks who say stuff like “My friend came out and then I came out, and now she thinks I’m copying her gender/identity and I don’t like it!” 

Indeed, it’s common for one person to come out and then another person follows suit! But this doesn't mean that the second person is “faking” their identity and copying the first person because they were jealous of the attention the first person got for coming out.

It’s common for LGBTQ folks to be friends with each other before any of them realize that they’re LGBTQ. Somehow, we just seem to attract each other! And a lot of trans people only start identifying as trans once they learn more about the trans community and spend time interacting with trans people, whether it’s online or IRl, so someone spending time with a trans person and then identifying as trans doesn’t mean that being trans is contagious, or that the person is faking it- it means they just learned more about being trans and realized it fits them too.

Using myself as an example- I had a friend who came out as non-binary, and the next year I came out as non-binary too. I wasn’t “copying” my friend per se. But I wasn’t really aware of being non-binary before that, so them coming out made it something on my radar. It made me realize that being non-binary is something that exists and something that a person can be and choose to identify as.

Seeing them take that path planted that little seed in my mind and eventually (after having folks as me if I was trans) I realized that yeah I’m non-binary too. I came out after they did because they helped me question my own gender which made me realize that I’m also non-binary, so they did influence me in a way, and seeing them come out gave me the courage/inspiration/motivation to come out myself.

Now of course it’s been several years... and I’m still non-binary! And so is my friend! Just because they came out first and I didn’t know I was trans for a while, it didn’t make their gender “realer” than mine is now, or any more valid.

That’s why friends, family members, and partners tend to come out around the same time. The first person comes out, and that makes the second person question their gender because they didn’t know as much about being trans before, and then they come out too. Or maybe both people knew they were trans already, but one person came out which helped lay down the groundwork for the other person to feel comfortable coming out too because they had a better idea of how someone would react. Or both people realized they were trans and came out at the same time independently- that happens too! 

Regardless of how things happened, you both identify as trans and that’s something that needs to be respected. Even if someone was “faking” for some reason and copying someone’s gender, using a different name and pronouns for them until they get tired of it isn’t really going to hurt anyone- and you don’t know if they’re faking, so you should give them the benefit of doubt. Nobody can peer into someone’s head and figure out their gender for them- if someone says that they’re trans, you have to take them at their word because there’s no “Trans Test” that you can take to determine if they’re truly trans. 

You can talk more about why you identify as trans if you want, but you shouldn’t ever feel like you have to “defend” and justify your identity; you don’t need to share more than you feel comfortable sharing. And even if him realizing he was trans had any influence or impact on your realization, it doesn’t mean that you’re copying or any less trans- there’s no shame in that, and it shouldn’t be something you have to hide or pretend isn’t true. 

If you feel like he’s a good friend to you otherwise and you want to invest your emotional energy into trying to maintain a friendship with him, you can tell him you need to have a serious conversation with him and then explain that you genuinely feel that you are a man and you were hurt that he’s accused you of pretending to be trans/faking your gender/copying his gender, and remind him that it’s never okay to misgender you or say something that invalidates your gender identity. 

If he keep saying shitty things after you’ve had a talk with him, then you need to just move on! Stop wasting your time and emotional energy engaging with this guy. Tell him that you can’t be friends with someone who won’t respect your identity and you won’t be spending any more time with him until and unless he changes his behavior.

Then actually do it! Block and unfollow him on social media and block his phone number and delete his contact if you have to. Hang out with different friends instead!

If you have a shared group of friends, make it clear to them that you’re uncomfortable when people misgender and disrespect you. Make sure you tell them what this guy has said to you and how it’s hurt you, then explain that you don’t want them to hold any group get-togethers with this guy because he’s creating a hostile environment for you (or at least tell them not to invite him to events you’ll be at too unless they’re going to take the responsibility of actively calling him out and correcting him).

Personally, I’d advise just blocking/ignoring him and moving on. While some people can be friends with ex-partners, I have the feeling things aren’t going great between the two of you from the connotation of you calling him your “ex” and not your friend. It can be hard to move on (trust me! I know! I never get over things or move on from anything, ever!) but sometimes you have to remind yourself that this person isn’t actually making your life better and you need to take care of yourself and disengage from them.

OKAY, here’s a cnovel rec for you: The Healer Demands Payment! 

I’m not done with this yet, but I’m going to go ahead and rec it anyways, because the novel is still in progress (the original work, not the translation) and the translation is up to about chapter 77/160, and I have no idea how far things are going to go past that 160 point. But I still feel incredibly comfortably reccing this, because I’ve had a great time so far, and a friend who’s read up to the end of the current translation hasn’t thrown up any red flags.

Now, the way I got here was feeling some shizunfucking cravings and idly trawling the master/student tag, and I thought this might be lesbeans. Sadly, no shizunfucker lesbians to be found in here, but what I found instead is still so sincerely delightful that I’m not even mad. It took me a little time to get far enough to confirm that the shizun in question is a dude, and while I might have been a little eurghhh at that concept before starting the book, by that point I was in deep enough that I am sold. (also, the framing is such that I can’t tell if our main girl is aimed for eventual monogamy or if she’s collecting a harem, and i’m guessing monogamy is more likely, but i won’t be mad either way tbhhhh)

The premise!! Meng Qi has had a second chance to do her life over (a la mo ran. transmigrating into your own past, reincarnating as your own younger self). In her first life, she was dedicated to following the path of the healer, and was deeply, deeply passionate about her work, and tried to do good and heal people. However, turns out! She’s just a supporting character! Cannon fodder! This story is about our female lead, and our female lead is not Meng Qi! All this time, as Meng Qi has tried to help people, those people have given credit to Lu Qingran, have suspected that she wanted to do harm to Lu Qingran, etc etc etc. If I was reading the book of her original life, I think it would have been too witch hunt for me to finish the thing. And, additionally, virtually every hot man who’s ever made an appearance on the screen has at one time or another pursued... Lu Qingran. In the end (I’m still not sure how, as of chapter twenty-something), Lu Qingran seems to have gotten Meng Qi and several of these nice(?) young men killed, while she swooned into their killer’s arms.

SO. This time around Meng Qi has learned her lesson. That lesson is FUCK ALL Y’ALL. 

That’s not exactly true, but she is taking a brutally practical approach to her new life. The first time one of Lu Qingran’s old suitors makes an appearance on the scene? Well, okay, last time she exhausted herself trying to cure him of poison for a solid week and passed out, only to be framed for him getting him hurt in the first place and thrown in jail for three months until someone got around to clearing her name. No! Thank! You! So this time he shows up, and he’s a fancy young man from a prominent sect, and she’s a teenager who’s only been learning (theoretically) for half a year. So she steps forward and says she can cure him..... in exchange for $$$$$$$

Like that, no karmic ties! No obligation! This is a nice! Simple! Exchange of goods!!!!

Yeah, so. At first he’s horribly offended, but I’m only like twenty chapters in, and he is INTO IT. At least one other guy has shown up too, who is also into it. These two chucklefucks are currently getting into catfights behind her back, because ‘she charged you that much money? but she only charged me this much?????’ and chucklefuck prime has started getting all blushuu when she extorts him

Like, legit, my girl has accidentally stumbled her way into a findom harem situation, and I am CHEERING. HER. ON.

Additionally! In her prior life, she had a shizun. And they were research partners (my god, they were research partners) and they developed a bunch of revolutionary new medical techniques together. Back in her new life, now, Meng Qi’s cultivation isn’t as advanced, she has no idea where her shizun is or how to find him, but she has all the theoretical knowledge that the two of them worked out together in another lifetime. Probably the biggest downside of this book is that it adheres very closely to the stages of cultivation with ‘nascent soul’, ‘golden core’, ‘soul severing’ and all that, but this conceit of her theoretical knowledge being leagues ahead of what she can accomplish with her current body makes it really work in a way that’s never clicked for me in the other xianxia books I’ve sampled with the strict cultivation stages. 

I’m preemptively in agony, because I can’t even MTL my way to the end of the story, the story’’s not all written yet. But I don’t even care, because this is so genuinely delightful. The two modern-day cnovels I just finished were fantastic as well, but there’s something about a high fantasy setting that always works for me, and this is exploring aspects of a xianxia universe that none of the other books I’ve tried have messed with yet. And also, I have no idea where the romance is going except that the story is tagged master/student on novelupdates, but I won’t be mad however this plays out, because 1) meng qi is a stone cold badass healer, and 2) every man in this story is an UTTER CLOWN. 

When I was talking about this with my friend, I think she nailed it on how to make sure that you write a good shizun into your story, and that formula is: clownery. As a rich young master introduced first thing, I knew that Chu Tianfeng was going to be a clown, and then when tyrannical young lord Qin Xiumo showed up, I knew he would be a clown too (his first appearance: tied, with his own belt, to the bottom of a pond). Su Junmo, the fox demon lord, was remembered by Meng Qi as an incredibly UGHHHHHHHHHHH part of her first life, so I was pretty sure I would love him (I do), and I have it on good authority that Meng Qi’s shizun is a clown in his own right. This book is so good. I was dithering on what to read next, because trying to get invested in something and having to slowly realize that it’s mediocre is a demoralizing experience, but this has been FANTASTIC. 

Finally, I have to quote the novelupdates page, because this was what sold me on this being my next book to try:

The cycle repeated, and eventually everyone she saved blindly loved the righteous female lead. Ultimately she was killed by one of the men who was entangled with the female lead.

……

So after her rebirth, she began to firmly adhere to the principle of ‘pay me first, then I’ll cure you’.
