I N T R O
Mid 2023.
Inhale.
1, 2, 3, 4...
Loose.
I open my eyes and place my hands on the keyboard, look at the screen and...
I stay still.
Just feeling the keys under my fingertips.
My heart beats so hard that I feel it in my ears, a lump forms in my throat and without realizing it, a tear slides down my cheek.
'Cause memories bombard my mind so quickly that they overwhelm me.
"I love you"
I slam the screen shut and get out of bed, walk into the bathroom and sit on the floor.
My chest hurts.
I hear a ringing in my eardrums.
I look up at the ceiling.
God, help me.
I stretch my neck and close my eyes.
I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. Can't.
Can't.
Can't.
- Molly, are you okay, honey?
Mom.
- N-no-no breath-breathe, mom-mom.
She peeks around the bathroom door frame, enters when she sees me on the floor and grabs my face.
-Calm down, breathe with me, -she inhales and I try to imitate her- aha, like that again -she inhales again and this time I do it right.
I repeat it five times and she wipes my cheeks.
"I can't write," I say quietly.
She sits next to me, grabs my hand and squeezes it.
"What do you want to write about?"
About what I feel.
"About him."
She sighs.
"Maybe you're not ready yet. Be calm and take your time."
She kisses my forehead and gets up from the floor to leave the bathroom, but not before smiling at me with her lips closed.
I stay there a while longer, thinking.
It's all I've done for months.
Think, think, think.
I was never one of those who try to find the reason for what happens, I got used to the fact that sometimes it is possible and other times it is not.
But since then, I just asked myself "What happened?"
"What did I did wrong?"
"It was my fault?"
"Why?"
"Why?"
"Why?"
And I got lost.
Trying not to lose him, I lost myself.
I was static, confused, dislocated.
With a hole in the chest, sad, insecure, afraid.
Questioning every decision I made, doubting the intentions of everyone who approached me.
I was not like that...
And I just want to recover, I want to be me again.
I sigh and get up, go back to bed and open the computer, again.
This time, I just let it go and I write the first thing that crosses my mind.
"If I'm completely honest, I don't have the slightest idea how I allowed you to destroy me... I don't know how I could give you so much, I dare say I gave it all to you and you never deserved it.
Never.
Not a bit."

HCs Being Park Sun-hwa's child
Tumblr media
A/N: I finally wrote something for someone other then Joon-yeong, don't worry more Joon-yeong fics coming soon(hopefully)😭 I also just wanted to write more for the underrated characters, I somehow always fall in love with them
Warning: slight spoilers for ep 3, angst, mentions of death, blood, slight self harm(out of anger) and zombies, abandonment
Genre: fluff at first, angst in the end
Being her child was both a fun and healthy familial relationship
She's always there making sure you stay healthy and is eating well
Her being the class's homeroom teacher, she often makes sure that the other students treat you well
Gives you a thumbs up everytime she leaves class
People don't usually try to mess with you because they know Mrs park will whoop their ass if she sees them bullying her kid😭
I just imagine her wanting her child the best lover/friend they can have so she always pairs them to sit with someone she thinks they would be happy with<3
Will give you English exercises at home
Not only to prepare you for upcoming exams but it's also a sneak peak for some of the questions she adds in the test
If you ever insist on helping her with paper work she'll refuse at first but soon agree with a proud smile on her face
She's just proud of how helpful her kid is 🥺
You both go home together chatting about your day
Sometimes you both visit food vendors before you both reach home
Goes full panic mode when the apocalypse happened
Her being in the broadcasting room and you with Cheong-san and the others
When you both finally reunite she hugs you so tight you were worried you might die from her hug before dying from getting bit
Ms. Park would help you clean off any blood off your hands or face
When the fire hose swung back and broke the glass, she practically pushed you back, shielding you from any danger
Sitting next to her as she comforts you about the mess we're in
When Gyeong-su started to turn, she made sure you didn't get bit
But then again Ms. Park has always been nice...a bit too nice at times
Even when there were clear evidence that Na-yeon killed Gyeong-su, she was still trying to defend her
"mom that's enough, please, she's a murderer and you know it" I pleaded to her
"Y/N, sweetheart, I just want you to know that I love you okay? But if we let her die out there then we're no better than she is" she said looking at me as tears started form in her eyes
Ms. park goes towards the door before smiling sadly at me and the rest of the group
"mom? You're kidding... right?" I can't help but start to cry, is she really going to do this?
When she left, I screamed at her begging not to go as Dae-su and the others rushed to stop me from opening the door
"please don't leave me here mom, please don't leave us" I sobbed, dropping down onto the floor
I kept repeating "why did you leave me?" To no one in particular as I start hitting the floor in rage
My knuckles started to bleed as On-jo tried her best to stop me from hurting myself
I just don't understand, why? Why did she leave us, why did she leave me? Her own child...for Na-yeon? She killed someone...and mom went to save her?
The others try their best to comfort you but even they're saddened too
We just lost a friend then we lost the only adult in the group which just so happens to be my mom
That night you barely slept, replaying the good times you had with your mom while also trying to accept that those are your last happy memory together
Ever since then you never seen her again

»»————- ————-««
Spencer's daughter hated her dad's new girlfriend. And she wasn't subtle about it. She hated that her father was now dating, 'cos she didn't want to share his love. So now she didn't even want to be around him anymore 'cos he was so happy, it was annoying.
It wasn't that she hated her father, 'cos she loved him. But she was never going to face the fact she was jealous. She didn't want to share Spencer with anyone because he was all the family she knew, and they were a team.
Victoria Reid was twelve years old. She had grown up alone with her dad 'cos her mother had ditched the two of them soon after she was born. Spencer had tried to explain to his daughter her mom had left 'cos she wasn't ready to deal with the responsibility of being a mother, which was true. He, on the other hand, was happy to know he was going to be a father, and he repeated over and over again she was the best thing that had ever happened to him.
That was true.
When Spencer and his ex found out they were going to be parents, he was ecstatic. He couldn't wait to hold his baby in his arms and watch them grow. He didn't know his girlfriend had other plans, though, and soon after Victoria was born, she had left the two of them and never looked back.
Spencer wasn't going to lose the chance of being a dad. Even when he knew he was too young, Reid was ready to raise that baby on his own and give her all the love he had.
That's why he and Victoria were so close. Spencer was the only parent she had ever had. He was her world. And though Spencer was only 24 when Tori was born, he had given her his best.
Tori was the BAU's baby girl. Everybody in the team was a part of her life because she had grown up with them. Penelope was her best friend and godmother. Victoria would spend a lot of time with her while her dad was away on a case. Derek was her cool uncle. He helped her train to get into the basketball team and taught her how to dance. JJ was the closest to a mother figure in her life. Tori would spend time with her after school, playing with Henry. Spencer always said JJ was like a sister for him, and that's why they were all like family. Tori actually called Henry and Michel her cousins.
Emily was like her best friend. They could talk about anything, and at least twice a month, they would go out together shopping, just the two of them. Spencer always respected his daughter's relationship with his friend 'cos they were their little extended family. Tori called Rossi "Nono." He had taught her himself, and she loved going to his mansion, 'cos he always had new video games to play with her.
But then came (Y/N). She had joined the team when Victoria was only six years old, and for the first five years, they got along just fine. (Y/N) would come along shopping with her and Emily, sometimes she took Tori out for some pastries, and talked about bands, boys. Victoria loved her.
That until the incident.
She hated (Y/N) after the incident.
Victoria refused to talk to her after THE INCIDENT.
It was a warm spring afternoon, Spencer and (Y/N) had the afternoon off, and they were at his apartment... heavily making out on the couch. That's why they lost track of time.
(Y/N) and Spencer had started dating a few months before. They had been in love with each other for years. Still, neither of them had acted on it until Rossi's birthday party, when they had a little too many drinks and finally confessed their feelings. They wanted to take things slow, but when you make out in front of the whole team, it might be a little harder imagined.
But they had decided to wait for the right time to tell Victoria. But, unfortunately, the right time didn't come soon enough.
- "Dad!! I'm home!!"- Victoria opened the front door and froze in shock at the scene going on in front of her. The twelve-year-old had asked her best friend's mother to drop her home earlier when Penelope told her Spencer had already gone home. In Garcia's defense, she had no idea what was going on in Reid's residence, and if she had known, she would have never let Victoria know her dad was home.
(Y/N) widened her eyes and quickly grabbed a pillow to cover herself. She was shirtless, sitting on Spencer's lap. She still had her bra on (thank god), but anyone could tell that scene was leading to the bedroom in a few seconds.
- "Shit!"- Spencer whispered and closed his eyes as he realized what was going on. (Y/N) held her breath as she stared into the young teen's eyes. Victoria didn't know what to do or what to say, so she simply ran to her room and slammed the door.
- "Ok... so I think Tori knows about us"- (Y/N) tried to ease the mood and smiled at her boyfriend as she put on her shirt. But Spencer sighed and covered his face with both hands- "Oh, come on. It doesn't have to be a bad thing. Let me talk to her."
- "No, (Y/N), let me talk to her first."- Spencer stood up and kissed (Y/N) 's nose- "I know she is mad, and I should be the one dealing with her anger."
Reid knew his daughter well enough to anticipate her behavior. People had often told him he could be a little passive-aggressive when he was upset. And his daughter was just like him.
- "Victoria, open the door!"- he said and waited a few seconds after knocking.
- "Go away!"- the teenager yelled, laying on her bed. She felt betrayed and confused. But most of all, she felt angry that her father had decided to have a girlfriend. He had no right to do such a thing. He had to take care of her and her grandma. No one else.
- "Victoria, we need to talk about this!"
- "You seemed too busy with your girlfriend to talk to me, dad. So go away!"
- "Victoria Marie!"- Spencer knocked on the door but got no answer from his daughter. (Y/N) heard it all from the couch and tried to think of a way to fix things with the young girl.
Sadly, it wasn't going to be easy, and in the months that followed, everything was far from being normal again.
- "I hate her!"- Victoria huffed and left her book aside. Spencer was trying to explain to her why (Y/N) would stay with her and Diana while he took a short work trip for the weekend. But the girl didn't want to hear a word about it.
- "You used to get along with her just fine until we started dating."- Spencer tried to dialogue with his daughter. Still, it was honestly getting harder and harder each time they touched the subject.
- "Used to. You just said it. I have the right to change my mind about people. Why can't I stay with auntie Penelope for the weekend?"
- "Because I want you to make an effort and try to get along with (Y/N) again. Victoria, we've been through this before. I love you, and that's not going to change just because I am dating (Y/N)."
- "This is so unfair! I hate you!!"
Spence tried to stay calm, but after over four-month having the same argument almost every day, he was losing it. Victoria stormed out and slammed her bedroom door behind her back. Maybe it was better not to push it, Spencer thought, defeated, and called Penelope to ask her if his daughter could spend the weekend with her, 'cos he had to travel. Maybe Victoria and (Y/N) weren't going to get along if he forced them to spend time together.
Everyone had already tried to talk to her about what was going on: JJ, Emily, Penelope. But Victoria wasn't ready to give in. She wanted to hate (Y/N), and nothing was going to change that. Or so she thought.
The day Penelope showed up in Victoria's school and announced her something had happened to her dad was engraved in the girl's memory forever as the worst day of her life. Her father had been arrested in Mexico, but Garcia had assured her, the whole team was working to bring him home safe. Meanwhile, she would stay with her in her apartment (she was already there anyway), and Diana would stay home with her nurse.
Victoria's heart was broken. She was basically alone in the whole world. Her father was her anchor. Her protector. Her superhero. Her best friend. And now, all of a sudden, he was gone, and though everybody told her it was going to be ok, she knew it wasn't.
- "Hey,"- (Y/N) walked into Penelope's office and found Victoria doing her homework- "Pen told me you were here, and I thought maybe you'd like one of these."
The young SSA said and handed the girl a box of fresh chocolate frosted with sprinkled donuts and a strawberry milkshake. Her favorites.
But Victoria didn't reply. Instead, she looked at (Y/N) right in the eyes, not moving a muscle, and then returned to her homework.
It had been two weeks since Spencer had been accused of murder, and he had been transferred to Virginia. But the team was far from solving the case.
- "Ok, Tori, please stop this. I know you don't like me dating your dad, but this is not the right time to fight. I know..."- (Y/N) made a short pause and took a deep breath before resuming her idea- "I know how you feel."
- "No. You don't."- Victoria Reid's voice was loud and clear, like thunder, hitting earth with anger. So clear, in fact, (Y/N) widened her eyes when she heard her.
- "You have no idea how I feel. Your dad ain't in jail accused of killing some woman in Mexico. You have no right to tell me that!"
- "My boyfriend and best friend in the whole world is in jail right now, and it doesn't matter if I work myself to death 18 hours every single fucking day; I still can't find the way to help him. I feel lost and alone, and most of all, scared, 'cos I've come to realize I have no idea how to live without him anymore. I'm guessing that's very close to what you feel."
(Y/N) poured her heart with complete honesty to her boyfriend's daughter, fighting the tears back, though you could feel the desperation in her voice. She didn't know if it would be of any use, but she had to take that from her chest. She missed Spencer so much she felt she was going insane. She had no idea what to do.
Victoria stared at her, furrowing her eyes and pouting. She didn't want to cry in front of (Y/N) 'cos she didn't want her trying to console her.
- "Just because you are dating him doesn't mean you have to take care of me. I can take care of myself."- Tori said and looked at the donut. She was hungry, they looked delicious, but the teenager didn't want to accept any gift coming from (Y/N).
- "I am not here because you are my boyfriend's daughter. I thought you were a cool kid way before I fell in love with him."- (Y/N) tried to calm herself down and sat across the table from Victoria- "And I am not trying to steal him from you. I just wanna... make him happy."
- "We were happy,"- the teenager's comeback was like a slap on (Y/N) 's face, but she did her best not to take it personally. She knew it was useless fighting with a teenager.
- "I have a visit scheduled for tomorrow. If you'd like, we could go together."
Tori held her breath. She hadn't seen her father since he left for Mexico. Of course, Victoria wanted to see him and hug him. It was all she wanted in the whole world. But... she didn't want to be friendly with (Y/N).
- "If I go... it doesn't mean I like you."- the young girl whispered.
- "I know"- (Y/N) nodded, feeling already triumphant.
- "And it doesn't mean I'm ok with you dating him."
- "I understand. I just know you miss him, Tori. I really know how you feel, and I'm gonna help you whenever I get a chance."- Victoria didn't answer; she just sighed and grabbed a donut. (Y/N) tried not to smile, feeling she had a small victory.
Spencer couldn't believe it when he saw his little girl waiting for him sitting next to (Y/N) instead of his lawyer in the small grey room. Victoria stood up and ran to him the second the door opened and wrapped her arms around her father as tight as possible.
(Y/N) looked at the guards, thankful neither of them had tried to stop the teenager.
Spencer kissed his daughter's cheek a few times and whispered how sorry he was to put her under those circumstances. He didn't know what to do or what to say. He was speechless. A part of him hated the idea of his daughter visiting him in jail, but he also missed her too much to argue with (Y/N) for bringing her over.
- "I'll go fill a few forms. Be right back"- (Y/N) whispered and saw Spencer's warm smile as he mouthed "Thank you," still hugging his daughter. She whispered, "I love you," and walked outside the room. She knew Victoria would appreciate a few minutes alone with her father, and she didn't want to take that away from them. She really wanted to make Spencer and Tori happy, and spending time together was what they needed.
- "I know this is hard, peanut, but we'll get through it. I'll be out in a few weeks. I promise"- Spencer held his daughter's hands as they sat across the table.
- "I miss you"- her voice was a soft whisper, as she kept trying not to cry anymore. She didn't want to make him feel guilty, sad, or anxious.
- "Me too. How are you? How is living with aunt Penelope going?"
- "Ok... we watch a lot of movies."
- "And school?"- Tori shrugged.
- "Ok, I guess."
- "Victoria..."
- "I got a C on my history paper."
- "Baby..."
- "I know, I know, I should have tried harder, but I really didn't want to do it."
Spencer was torn between lecturing his daughter for getting a bad grade and actually telling her it was ok, 'cos they were going through a rough patch. It was obvious she might get bad grades, all things considered.
- "I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you"- it was all Spencer managed to whisper.
- "Don't say that, dad. I'm sorry I slacked off."
- "You know, you could ask (Y/N) for help,"- Spencer suggested, but Tori just rolled her eyes, annoyed- "She has a master in the subject..."
- "Dad, please don't force me to talk to her."
- "I'm just saying... you don't have to be her best friend, just ask for help when needed, especially when it comes to school. Besides, it's clear she isn't a bad person if she brought you here today."
- "She just wants to win me over."- Tori mumbled and crossed her arms on her chest. But she knew her dad was right in one thing: (Y/N) had done a pretty good thing taking her to see her dad and letting them spend time together on their own.
Victoria thought she was losing her mind after three months had passed and her father was still in jail. It didn't matter that (Y/N) took her every Saturday morning to visit, played her favorite music, and bought her all the pastries she loved. She needed to live with her father again and do all the small things they loved: making breakfast together, playing scrabble, taking long walks in the park, eating ice cream. Tori even missed her father's annoying habits. She missed his rambling and how he always had an answer for everything, even for the things she didn't want to talk about with him.
Spencer was an amazing father, no questions asked, and Victoria Reid knew she couldn't ask for a better dad than him. She just wanted him back.
But things weren't going to improve soon.
When the team found out Diana Reid had been kidnapped, (Y/N) had to take a minute and lock herself in the bathroom to cry her heart out. She felt bad things were never going to cease, and she didn't want to tell Victoria. The girl had already been through so much, adding the abduction of her grandmother wasn't fair. Tori was just twelve. She shouldn't be going through all that.
- "Victoria?"
Prentiss decided she was going to be the one to tell the girl what was going on, and (Y/N) offered herself to look for her. She was in Rossi's office, reading a book curled on his comfy couch. That poor kid almost lived at the BAU by then.
- "My homework is done."- she replied, not taking her eyes from the page she was reading.
- "That's good. And what are you reading?"- Tori sighed and showed her the cover- "Something Wicked this way comes," I love that book"- (Y/N) smiled and took a look around.
- "Figured my father forced you to read it."
- "Actually, I read it when I was ten, and it's one of my favorite books."- (Y/N) looked at Victoria, but the teenager kept pretending to read, ignoring her- "Emily needs to talk to you."
- "And why are you here? Why didn't aunt Emily come? Are you her secretary?"- there was something about Victoria's attitude that reminded (Y/N) of Reid.
- "I wanted to see you, see how you were doing, and take you to the conference room"- Tori sighed and stood up. She hoped Emily had good news about her father, 'cos she was honestly going insane.
But of course, Prentiss didn't have any good news.
- "I'm sorry, Tori, but... you are going to have to stay here tonight"- the girl frowned, confused, and looked at the whole team around her. Everybody looked like they hadn't slept in days. Which, by the way, was very accurate.
- "Why?"
- "'Cos we are going to have to..."- Emily paused and held her breath, staring at her niece's eyes.- "I'm sorry, Tori, but this is the truth: the woman who framed your father has kidnapped Diana, and I'm scared she might try to get you too. So until we catch her, the safest place to be is here, at the BAU. With us."
Tori gasped and covered her mouth with both hands as tears filled her eyes in a second.
- "Nana? Is she ok?"
- "We don't know yet, but we are working to bring her home safe as soon as possible"- JJ caressed Tori's arm and tried to hold her, but she pushed her away mad frowned.
- "You keep saying that, you keep telling me you are working to bring my family home safe, but so far, you haven't done anything!! I am still alone! Dad is in jail, and everybody knows he is innocent! And now nana is gone too!!"
- "Baby, we know it is hard, but..."- Emily wanted to explain to Victoria everything was more complex than they had expected, but the girl covered her ears and shook her head, yelling as she stormed out of the room
- "I don't wanna hear you!! I want my dad!!"
It was painful to hear those things, 'cos the team was doing the best they could for Reid and his family, but they could understand the frustration and, most of all, the fear that little girl felt.
- "I'll talk to her,"- (Y/N) said and turned to Emily- "You guys continue what you were doing. I'll try to calm her down."
- "Are you sure you wanna go?"- Emily asked and cut (Y/N) a short smile.
- "Yeah, for once, she is mad at all of us, not just me."
The young SSA walked to Garcias's office, where Tori was hidden underneath a desk, crying.
- "Hey."
- "Leave me alone."
- "I know I'm the last person you wanna be with right now, and I am sorry I can't do anything to make you feel better. I can only promise you this: we are doing all we can to bring your dad and your grandmother back home safe." - (Y/N) whispered as she walked slowly towards the girl, who sobbed, whipping off the tears from her eyes.
- "Just leave me alone. I want to be alone,"- Tori mumbled and wrapped her arms around herself, sobbing.
- "I'm not gonna leave you alone, Tori. You are not alone here with us."
- "I am alone!! I want my daddy!! I need my daddy!!"- the girl continued crying her eyes out, hidden underneath the desk. (Y/N) kneeled next to her and sat on the floor.
- "Come here"- it was a bold move, 'cos (Y/N) knew the girl was going to reject her, but she didn't care. She couldn't deal with her sadness, and it scared her to think how bad the child was feeling. So, (Y/N) opened her arms and moved the teen closer to her.
Surprisingly, the girl didn't reject her. Instead, she cried against the fabric of (Y/N) 's sweater and sobbed, shaking, as (Y/N) caressed her hair carefully.
- "I swear, we are not gonna rest until he is free and until Diana is home."
- "I want my family back,"- Victoria mumbled and sighed.
- "You'll get it. I swear, I'll do everything I can to bring them back to you."
That was the first time since (Y/N) started dating Spencer that Victoria let her close. In the middle of the mess they were all lost into, it felt like a little break of peace. Another small victory for the young woman.
(Y/N) didn't mind spending the whole night awake going through an endless pile of files if it meant there was a chance to bring Spencer back home. Tori stayed in Rossi's office, where she made something that looked pretty much like a fort on the couch, with blankets and pillows, to hide from the rest of the world.
It was heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time, looking at the girl hidden there, trying to read, trying to draw, trying to do anything to take her mind from reality. Penelope brought her something to eat, but she rejected it, saying she wasn't hungry. Emily and JJ had tried to talk to her, but Tori kindly said she wanted to be alone. Even Morgan had called her and announced to her he was taking a plane from Chicago to help the team looking for Diana.
None of that cheered Victoria up.
- "I bought you this,"
Around ten, (Y/N) opened Rossi's door and walked in, holding a box of frosted chocolate donuts with sprinkles.
- "They always cheer your dad up, so I'm counting they will do the trick with you too"- the young woman tried to joke but found Victoria crying quietly insider her fort.
- "Please, just leave me alone,"- she whispered and hid her face with both her hands. (Y/N) didn't pay attention and sat with her inside the fort.
- "Not a chance."
- "I really don't wanna do this now, just leave me alone,"- the girl sighed, defeated, and continued crying.
- "Come here, I told you, you are not alone."
- "I am alone, (Y/N)! My dad is in jail, my grandma is kidnapped, and my mother left me 'cos she didn't love me!"
- "No, baby, don't say that"- (Y/N) wrapped her arms around Tori and kissed the top of her head.
- "I know my mom didn't want to have me, and maybe she was right... maybe I am cursed, and all this is my fault."
- "Victoria Marie Reid, you are talking senseless" (Y/N) held the girl's shoulder and looked into her eyes.
- "You are an adorable young girl who deserves the best in the world. Why did this happen? I don't know, bad shit happens in life, and we must try to learn something from it. That's it. There's no reason or cause. Shit happens, baby, but we must raise stronger than before. You are an incredible young girl, and I know your dad is proud of you. I am proud of you, 'cos you've been so courageous and brave."
- "You are just saying that 'cos you are with my dad."
- "No. I would say that even if I hated your dad. You know why? 'Cos I am not lying, you are awesome, and I love you, get that into your head. And you are not alone, 'cos I am here, see?"- (Y/N) ran her thumb on Tori's cheek, whipping off a few of her tears- "I'm here even when you don't want me to be, so I don't know if you can tell, but you are doomed, you can't get rid of me now. I'm like a disease, but a good one... I don' know if there's a good disease. I'm sure your dad would have the answer for my random comment right now."
Both Victoria and (Y/N) chuckled at the same time, and the girl nodded.
- "He definitely would..."
- "He would also lecture me why I shouldn't give you sugar after dinner, but he is not here, and I am not telling him, so please don't tell him 'cos he is going to be mad at me... and at you."- (Y/N) handed Tori the box of donuts, and the girl smiled.
- "I won't tell him."
- "Great, we have our own little sugary secret. Eat all the donuts you want; I'm going to be with the team in the conference room. Emily has a meeting early morning with the judge."- (Y/N) kissed the top of Vitoria's head and stood up.
- "If you need anything, I'm across the hall."- the SSA said, and the girl nodded, chewing a donut.
- "Thank you, (Y/N)"
By the next day, the miracle had happened. Victoria couldn't stop crying when (Y/N) announced she was taking Spencer back home. Tori stood in front of his father's girlfriend and felt how the tears filled her eyes in less than a minute. Happy tears, for once.
(Y/N) smiled at her, glad to know the young girl was going to have her life back. It surprised her when Tori hugged her, wrapping her arms around her tight. (Y/N) stayed still for an instant, trying to understand what was happening. She hugged Victoria and kissed the top of her head. The child was crying, and suddenly, so was she. The nightmare was over. At least a part of it. They still needed to find Diana. But the fact they were going to have Reid back was already giving everybody the peace of mind they needed to finish the task.
(Y/N) held Spencer's hand tight all the way from the prison to the BAU. He kept his eyes locked on their hands, fingers tangled together. He couldn't believe it was actually happening. He couldn't believe he was a free man.
- "How's Tori?"- he whispered and turned to his girlfriend. Penelope and Luke were in the car with them, but somehow, Spencer could only register the presence of his girlfriend. Not because he didn't care about his friends, but because he could only take just a small amount of information at the time. It was all too much for him at that moment.
- "Good. She has been incredibly strong."
- "Did you tell her about mom?"- Spencer was afraid to ask but needed to know what was going on with his daughter. (Y/N) nodded and sighed.
- "We decided it was better if she knew what was happening, we had to keep her at the BAU, and she was going to get suspicious she couldn't go to Penelope's... sorry."
- "Don't be. You did what was best for her."- Spencer turned to his girlfriend and smiled at her for a second. It was a short, sweet smile. Almost shy. But it was enough to warm her heart and wake the butterflies in her stomach. She was so in love with Spencer Reid, everything he did fluster her.
Victoria thought her heart was about to burst as he waited for her father to arrive. Spencer looked at (Y/N) one last time, and she squeezed his hand kindly, smiling when the elevator door opened, and all he heard was:
- "Daddy!!"- Tori yelled and ran to hug Spencer as soon as she saw him. He couldn't even step out of the elevator when his daughter nearly tackled him, wrapping her arms around him tight.
- "My baby!"- he whispered and spun her in the air a few times- "Are you ok?"- he held her face with both hands and took a good look at her. She was crying but smiling as she nodded.
- "I'm so happy to see you, dad."
- "I missed you so, so much"- Spencer kissed the top of her head and sighed. (Y/N) smiled, and whipped off the tears from her eyes as she stared at the scene. Garcia and Luke stood next to her, enjoying a brief moment of happiness and peace.
- "Me more,"- Victoria whispered and hugged Spencer again- "I swear I'm never going to fight with you again."
- "I'm taking a mental note of that,"- he answered and felt her body shaking as she giggled. Spencer hadn't heard his daughter laugh, giggle, or even watched her smile in the three months he had spent away from her. And that sound was sweet and warm, like a balm to his soul.
- "I'm sorry, Spencer... but, we have to..."- Emily interrupted the moment and smiled at her friend. They all knew they still had to do one more thing before celebrating. They had to take Diana Reid back home safe and sound. Victoria let her father go and smiled at him.
- "I love you, dad."
- "I love you too, princess."
And as the team walked to the conference room to brief Spencer about the case and update him with the latest information, (Y/N) felt someone hold her hand.
- "Thank you,"- Victoria whispered and cut her a smile that warmed her heart.
- "Come here,"- she answered and turned around to wrap her arms around her for a second. Spencer looked at them, and for once, he didn't know what to say. Victoria and (Y/N) just stood in the middle of the hall, hugged for a few minutes, and Reid couldn't believe it. It was so heartwarming and emotional; he really didn't know how to react.
- "Come on, dad!! You are going to miss the movie!"- Victoria yelled and set the popcorn on the coffee table.
- "You can pause it!"- Spencer yelled from his desk, where he was finishing writing a letter for his mother.
- "Or you can hurry!"- Tori answered and sat on the couch.
- "Here's your tea, your highness"- (Y/N) walked to the girl holding a tray filled with cups and more snacks- "Come on, honey! We are not waiting for you!"
Three months after prison and life had never been so good for Spencer, Victoria, and (Y/N).
- "I had never seen you so eager to watch a Marvel movie, since when are you two fans of Thor?"- Spencer walked to the living room, hearing his girlfriend and daughter laugh.
- "Always, huge fan."- (Y/N) smiled and tapped on the couch. Reid sat between his two women and sighed.
- "I can smell the sarcasm in the air."
- "No, honey. We love Thor, right Tori?"
- "Yes! Big fans, huge, the biggest fans"- Spencer looked at his daughter and raised an eyebrow.
- "Ok, I'll buy it. Let's watch the movie."
(Y/N) and Tori giggled at the very same moments like they were sharing a secret joke Spencer couldn't understand, but he didn't really matter. He was happy, his heart was content, and there was nothing more perfect that minute, 'cos his family was all on the same couch, watching a movie, enjoying an afternoon together. Like he had always dreamt of.

You don't start to clean the club until the last member has left, picking up empty beers, ashtrays, shot glasses and any kind of trash, before putting the chairs over the tables to sweep and mop the floor. It doesn't take you more than ten minutes, being something strange since normally you spend more than an hour cleaning everything around you. But the crew is not in the mood to celebrate anything, only to stay together to weather the storm. You have heard them talk, even if you have tried to not stick your nose in their business. You care about them though, they're your family at the end of the day.
Taking one last look to make sure everything is on point, you grab your leather jacket to wear it while turning off the lights of the club. With your hand on the knob and facing the darkness inside, you close the door and lock it up. You turn around with the clear intention to head your car until someone calls your attention. You thought all the crew was gone, but you were wrong. Taza is sitting on the stairs, head bowed down, playing with something between his ringed fingers. You can see above his left shoulder what it is. His gun.
He hasn't been the same since Riz left and his brothers are so concerned about their loss that they haven't noticed his world is falling apart since that day. Anyone, but you. Taza has always been a ray of sunshine. Laughing, telling jokes, cheering everybody up. Now he is just darkness, serious gestures, monosyllables as responses. And you have never felt more worried for anybody than you feel for him. Biting briefly your bottom lip as you keep the keys inside a pocket, you guide your steps slowly towards him. One of your hands lands on his shoulder whilst sitting down, before wrapping your arms around his left arm. Leaning to his side, you press your lips on his cheek, watching him close his eyes for an instant as Taza proffers a quiet sigh.
“You've talked to me one hundred times about that hammock you've on your porch to see the stars, but you haven't shown it to me yet”. You whisper resting your chin on his shoulder, curving your lips with a sweet smile when Che tilts his head to face you.
You squeeze fondly his arm under your grip when he comes closer to kiss your forehead, caressing with the tip of his nose where his lips have been a second before. Not saying a word, he stands up keeping his gun to safety to offer you his hand and help you to get up. But he doesn't let it go until the two of you approximate his yellow and flawless bike. Putting on the helmets, you wait for him to sit first and turn on the engine to have your place behind him. You feel his abdomen tense up when your arms surround it, until you rest your chin again on his shoulder, looking at you through the rearview mirror to make sure you're well before starting to drive.
Taza doesn't have any rush on the way to the ranch, enjoying the road for the first time in a few months. But as soon as you glance at the place on the horizon, his body gets tense again. You have indeed noticed that lately, he has been staying in the club, instead of going home, and you're starting to believe that it has something to do with Riz and the memories he built there together. And now, you're regretting your petition.
Once the bike is parked and you can jump off from it, you stand closer until Taza does the same taking your helmet next to his to leave both hangings on the handlebar. You follow him to the inside, being surprised for the fact that it's the first time you put a foot in after knowing him for more than three years and having some kind of special connection since then. Imitating him, you take off your jacket to place it on a chair before walking behind him to the back porch —with an amazing view of the desert and the dark sky full of shiny stars.
Taza gently holds your hand, claiming your attention in holy silence, pulling you closer to lie on the hammock. As he places an arm behind your neck and the other over your abdomen, you lace your fingers with his. And neither could wish to be in a better place. He has always found comfort and support in you, hearing him talk during hours about everything and nothing. He has taught you a lot of things too, as his wisdom is incalculable. But sometimes he prefers to stay in silence, just appreciating how good is your company, your closeness, your touch.
Che is watching you sideways looking fascinated at the sky as if it was something new for you. He obtains peace in your innocent smile, calm in your breathing, and for a moment he wants with all his might to ask you to stay, to be eternal with him. The world is a better place with you by his side. But he can't. Taza can't say a single word until you speak first.
“What?” You whisper giggling, turning your head at him.
“Nothing”. He replies with the same low tone, showing you a fleeting sweet smirk.
“Nothing?” You repeat with feigned incredulity, raising both eyebrows as you lie on your side without loosening the tangling of your fingers. “You know I'm here, right?”
“Yeah, I ain't that old to not see you”.
“Pendejo”. You scoff funnily palming his chest, earning a short laugh from him. “You know what I mean, Che”.
As you pout at him, the smile on his lips appears again. Shyly, in a melting gesture that races your heart and makes it jump within your chest.
“I like how you say my name”. He mumbles before you can ask what again, lying on his side too and holding you closer.
Your noses are almost touching the other, you can practically breathe the air from his lung, and you are already lost on his eyes —as a lot of times before, but never having him looking at you likewise. There you find the encouragement to take a step forward and place your lips on his. None of you moves an inch from your bodies, more than closing your eyes, and assimilating what you just have done. But it feels like Taza has been waiting an eternity to kiss you when he finally tastes you by fitting his lips with yours. Gentle and careful gestures that turn into tender smooches, while your right hand travels his chest up through his shoulder, then his neck, till reaching his shaved jawline.
“I don't feel like myself anymore”. Che confesses, still being too close to your lips almost touching them, and not able to open his eyes. “But when I'm with you, everything is different. I feel alive again”.
“Then I'm gonna stay here forever”. You murmur, placing your arms around his neck to get rid of any kind of distance between the two of you.
You feel the relief taking over his anatomy after pronouncing that promise, knowing it's exactly what he wanted and what he needed, but he didn't dare to ask you for. Tossing a leg over his, Taza sinks his face into your chest, accommodating himself under your loving embrace to focus all his senses on your heartbeat as his demons begin to fade away.

You woke up the next day to your slightly annoying alarm, groaning as you stretched. You reached for your phone to snooze your alarm, yawning loudly as you opened your phone to see notifications. You checked your text messages first, seeing two unknown numbers that sent you a text.
(Sent September 23rd at 11:24 pm)
xxx-xxx-xxxx: [Hey y/n! This is Shoyo!]
[From the volleyball club!]
(Sent September 23rd at 11:28 pm)
xxx-xxx-xxxx: [Yo, this is noya!]
You smiled and responded to both of their texts before climbing out of bed, stretching your arms and legs. You grabbed your uniform to slip it on before remembering something. You haven't sent Kageyama a goodmorning text!
(Sent September 24th at 6:34 am)
Y/N: [good morning Tobio! Do you want to eat lunch together today?]
[Ill bring your favorite snacks!]
Kageyama: [can't, im busy today]
Y/N: [how about tomorrow?]
Kageyama: [busy.]
You sighed and brushed it off, thinking for a bit. You smiled, Tobio was so cool! He must be busy with something important, you thought as you dressed into your uniform. Your mom let you decide if you wanted to be driven again or walk, it was only a 15 minute walk. You knew sooner or later you'd be forced to walk so you decided to walk today.
It was chilly out of course, so you slipped on a scarf and slipped out the front door. You decided to stop at the convenience store on the way to the school, grabbing three meatbuns and purchasing them. When you continued on your walk, you noticed a familiar face.
"Hey Kageyama!" You called, causing the male to jump and look around until his eyes landed on you. His calm expression turned slightly sour, and you giggled, jogging over to him. "Good morning Tobio!" You huffed out, handing him a meat bun.
"Morning, and no thank you," he declined the meat bun, making you shrug and take a bite. "Do you always walk to school?" You ask, kicking some rocks, humming a light tune. He lightly hummed and didnt bother to look at you, making you pout. "You could give me a real answer Kageyama."
You cross your arms and notice the males ears turn slightly red and he nods. "Sorry," he mumbles and you guys arrive at the school, entering the door. You sighed lightly of relief, smiling at the slight warmth the inside of the school offered.
"Where are you going to Tobio?" You asked, turning to the male, leaning over and slapping your knee lightly. He took a glance at you and turned away, "im going to class. Bye." He walked off without another word from either of you two, and you huffed lightly.
(Sent September 24th at 6:51 am)
Y/N: [Shoyo! What does Kageyama do during lunch?]
Shoyo: [What? He doesnt do anything, what do you mean?]
Y/N: [He said he's busy today but i didnt get to ask him what he was doing :'/]
Shoyo: [Ah! Uhm.. ill ask him!]
You bit your lip and thought for a bit. You guessed maybe Hinata and Kageyama weren't as close as you thought. You stuffed your phone into your pocket and headed to your class, taking your seat behind the blonde, Tsukishima. "Hey, Tsukki," you tapped him.
"Hmm?" He hummed turning to face you. Class hasnt started yet, so you placed your plastic bag on the desk, smiling. "Want a meat bun?" His eyebrows went up before he glared at you, then nodded. You beamed at him as you handed him a bun, watching him take a bite.
"Thanks," he says and turns back to his seat. "Oh yeah, and don't call me Tsukki." He went back to working on some work that he had left to complete. You ate the last meat bun before placing the plastic bag into your backpack.
During lunch you decided that you would stay in the classroom, you didn't bother to go find another spot to sit or anyone to sit with. You slipped on some headphones and shuffled your favorite playlist, smiling at the tune. You ate your food that you had prepared as you doodled on some homework that you had finished.
You were so into your doodles that you almost didn't notice the freckled boy trying to get your attention. "Hello?" You looked up at him, smiling instantly at the cute boy. "W-wow, hey!" You slipped off your head phones and paused your playlist. "Im Tadashi, Tsukki's friend."
"Ah, you're from the volleyball club huh?" You smiled and took a quick bite of your food before turning your attention back to the male. He smiled and nodded his head, "yeah, you're kageyamas friend uh.. y/n?"
"Yeah, it's nice to meet you," you said and he scooted close to you. "What are you drawing?" He took a peek at your sketches and then looked back up at you, smiling. "Ah, sorry this is unrelated but– your eyes are so pretty," you giggle, cupping the males face, making him giggle as well.
"You know, you're very open," Tsukishima adds, turning around in his desk to face both you and Tadashi. You took another bite of your food and then leaned back in your desk. "Well, what's wrong with that?" You ask, smirking, "it makes it easy to talk to people and make friends."
Yamaguchi giggles a bit at your comment, but you weren't sure why. "Maybe if you were more open Tsukki, you'd have more friends," yamaguchi laughed out, causing you to also burst out in laughter. Tsukishima tried hard to act offended, but couldn't help but crack a small grin at his friends comment.
After school you decided to go to the gym again with Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. You walked next to Yamaguchi and you two talked and laughed on the way there. "Volleyball is pretty fun! Have you ever played?" He asked and you smiled, nodding. "My old friends from Nekoma let me play with them sometimes," you blurted, bouncing with each step at the happy memory.
"N-nekoma?!" Yamaguchi gasped, jaw dropping. You nodded, furrowing your eyebrows. "Yeah, why?" You questioned, also noticing an intrigued glance from the taller male. "You moved from Tokyo? From Nekoma High?" He asked as you guys stepped into the gym.
"Yeah, I'm from Tokyo," you smiled, you and Tadashi following Tsukishima like puppy dogs, continuing the conversation. "Y/N!" A loud voice called and you turned to see Hinata running full speed at you. He stopped on his heels, infront of you with a big smile. "Hi!" He smiled widely and bounces.
You wave a small goodbye to Tadashi and Tsukishima as they go to set up and you turn back to the orange headed male. "Whats up Hinata?" Nishinoya and Tanaka trailed after Hinata, "you dont have friends here yet right?" Tanaka asked and you tilted your head.
"Ah, well its only my second day here. I only have Kageyama but hes so grumpy and busy all the time, but I think you guys are pretty cool," you giggled, swinging one of your legs to a random tune playing in that head of yours. "Do you want to walk home with us today? We're gonna stop by the coaches store after practice," Noya spoke up, hope in his eyes.
"Of course! As long as they have meatbuns," you closed your eyes, smiling at the thought of meatbuns. "Wow, you must really like meat buns. Kageyama said that you bought some this morning," Hinata jumped up and down in place to keep his legs warm.
"Yeah, theres a convenience store nearby my house on the way here, so I had to get meatbuns!" You heard Daichi calling the boys to huddle, so you took a seat near the side of the gym near where the managers were standing. You worked on some homework, once again letting your mind wander as you doodled on the page.
You decided to take a break and went on your phone. You were mindlessly scrolling through social media for the rest of the practice, not once noticing the time that passed by until you felt quick repeated taps on your shoulder. You jumped and saw Hinatas big goofy smile in your face.
"Lets go go go!" He jumped and rushed out the door, leaving you shocked and rushing to grab your stuff before running after him. You saw Kageyama, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi waiting outside the door, watching you and hinata rush out the door. "Noya and Tanaka had to leave early so its just us!" Hinata informed you. You guys head to the store, kageyama standing on the opposite side of the group of you.
"Hey Kageyama look," you grabbed a bag of candy off one of the shelves and held it up for him to see. "You used to eat this all the time in first grade," you giggled and inspected the bag. You decided to purchase it and some meatbuns before you guys finished your walk home.
It was nice to talk to new people, new faces, but you really wanted to spend time with Kageyama.
"Kageyama, do you want my mom to give you a ride home, my house is right around the corner," you say, stuffing a meatbun in your mouth while shoulder bumping the male playfully. Hinatas expression was confused, but slightly worried. "Kageyama are you okay?"
Kageyama looks up at Hinata and nods his head "I'm fine." He said, completely ignoring what you had asked him. Thinking he was maybe being stubborn you poked his ankle with the toe of your shoe, "atleast give me an answer Tobio."
"I'll walk home by myself," he muttered and sped up his pace, leaving you behind. You slowed down until you were next to Tsukishima and continued to eat your meatbuns. "Why do you let him treat you like that?" Tsukishima asked, taking a sip of his drink.
"Like what?" You asked, staring at the blonde with a look of utter confusion, making him nod. "He just ignores you or brushes you off half the time." He states before waving at Tadashi and Hinata that turned down different roads. "He's always been like that, even since we were children, hes just stubborn."
Tsukishima scoffs lightly. "Stubborn," he repeats softly, then turns to face you. "Ill see you tomorrow shorty," he says before slipping on his headphones and taking a right, leaving you to go left. You thought about what Tsukishima said, what did he mean? Kageyamas just like that, right?

gojo and mimi are gonna meet her group of friends for the first time, "shit" he curses under his breath, mimi turns her head to him and slightly tilted her head to the side "what?" gojo takes a deep breath before saying it in one breath "i may or may not have flirted with one of your friends before"
mimi was about to ask him to repeat again when she heard her friend "satoru?!" gojo gave a sheepish smile "heyyyy" he slowly distances himself with mimi afraid of her "oh let me guess, you're one of the victims?" mimi excitedly pipes in while laughing, her friend laughs along with her while shrugging "you think im surprised anymore you hoe?" mimi teased patting gojo's arm

"come here sato" mimi's mom coos at him, clearly babying the man. mimi crosses her arms finished with her mask looking at her so-called man with a smile adoring her lips "you know i wonder sometimes if i got myself a man or a child" gojo let out a dramatic gasp "auntie she's bullying me" mimi's mom played along and playfully glare at her, mimi giggles at this "also shut up you love me~" gojo added.
-okkotsu yuta
Tumblr media
that guy who laughs at uncertain situations (if u only know what he's really like ✋)
class clown
softboi (yes he is ma'am!)
happy go lucky
lowkey yandere vibes
i feel like my friends already loves him because they were the one who introduced him
mimi and her friends are hanging out at their usual bench chatting away until one of them noticed the small group of guys passing by. "hey!" one of her friend shouted waving her hand before gesturing for them to come over.
they soon arrived where mimi and her friends are, a young boy with a sweet smile caught mimi's eyes. she gulps looking back to her friend who's introducing the group, "and he's yuta" she finishes with her arm around yuta her other hand giving his chest little pats. mimi nod to herself trying not to forget his name.
definitely met my mom before, helping her with her grocery or something. mom took a liking of him because he's kind and polite
yuta knocks on the door nervously chewing his bottom lip, mimi opened the door and smiles at him, the raven head returning it with shaky breath "come in" yuta politely comes in and to his surprise saw a familiar face "oh you're that sweet boy" mimi's mom exclaimed softly smiling as yuta gave his greeting taking her hand bringing it towards his forehead.
"you met before?" mimi chimes in looking at the two "i helped her carry her things since she's having some trouble" yuta explained his nervousness slowly fading away, mimi's mother turns to her daughter "i love him already! you're definitely marrying him" mimi's mother then welcomes yuta to their home with open arms "mom!" mimi shouted in embarrassment. yuta lets out a chuckle, relieved that he was welcomed right away.
-fushiguro megumi
Tumblr media
cold type
major daddy vibes (all i can say is megumi's their type-)
cool aura
doesn't give a fuck type of guy
my friends probably heard of him because of me
mimi was walking around the campus together with a friend of hers, they were talking about usual school stuffs. sharing all the stress and pressure they're feeling having to be the leader of their own respective group.
mimi came to a stop when she noticed the quiet preserve guy who's walking towards the elevator hands on his pocket. after pushing the button, he cracks his neck side to side his hand soothing the crook of his neck. "let's go use the elevator" was all she said before dragging her friend.
the three walks inside the elevator without a word, mimi and her friend stayed behind as megumi stands in front of them pushing the button of his classroom's floor. mimi's friend can't help but snicker, mimi pinches her side telling her to stop.
megumi turns and gesture at the floor buttons "which floor?" his low voice making mimi's knees weak in the knees, mimi's friend was having fun seeing her friend malfunction in front of a hot guy. she giggles not wanting to embarrass her more than she did "oh we're in the same floor, it's all good"
mom likes him when i showed his pic! *cough* one of her fave *cough*
got nervous with meeting mom for the first time but soon relaxed with mom's calming and friendly nature, all in all mom still likes him
-inumaki toge

crazy type of guy
gives off the always sleeping guy
playful type
"oh wow its hot in here" seductively lowers his collars
daddy- (i- ma'am-)
bad boy!!
serious
mom said rock 'n roll but let's forget that
i'm gonna be honest, i feel like he's gonna be part of my friends, my "kapag tropa lang tropa lang rule" (basically translates to: if u're friend just stay as friends rule) will be broken just for him;
toge and mimi was known to be touchy with each other in their group of friends. toge trusts mimi more than the others, he shows this by doing simple things such as leaving his id with her if ever he goes somewhere or do something.
their friends mostly find them leaning in each other's shoulder whenever they are given a break or during their little talks. "you know i saw this new.." their friend started explaining, all of them listening. toge gets into a more comfortable spot leaning his head on mimi's shoulder busy with scrolling on his phone. once in a while showing mimi something funny or interesting.
mom will likely take time to warm up to him. toge will do his best to get on her good side, shows his charms. once he gets mom's approval there's no turning back. he gets treated like he was her own son.
toge smiles at mimi's mother sweetly, "what's your name?" as toge took her hand making mano with her (stop i dunno how to phrase it) "inumaki toge, auntie" mimi's mother let out a soft gasp, "the inumaki toge?" toge looks at the direction where mimi disappeared, a little confused by what's happening. he looks back at mimi's mother about to ask why she knows him.
"mimi won't stop talking about you!" mimi's mother informed as toge's mouth left agape, mimi who happen to get back at the right moment grumble "mom why did you tell him?!" she said through gritted teeth. mimi's mom have a sweet smile on her face faking a surprise.
"oh i wasn't suppose to? oops?" mimi grumbles more standing beside toge who now have a smug look on his face, "you talk about me huh?" he began, mimi gave him a playful shove "shut up."

DADDY!!
most likely to kill me
intimidating
unique looking
mom really likes him!
thinks his tattoos and aura is cool
if my friends saw a picture of him they will immediately question me
he's a snitch, i hate his snitch ass ugh
mimi's mom did not like sukuna from the picture at all, she doesn't have any problem with people who have tattoo but he got it all over him. we can say that mimi's mom is kinda looking out for the both of them because their relatives are just too traditional and doesn't like the looks of tattoos.
however, sukuna soon got her approval! how you ask? well the mf snitched without knowing. sukuna nudges mimi's side lightly, trying to start conversation "how's the piercing?" mimi's eyes widen looking at sukuna hissing, "kuna no!" mimi whisper yell at him. mimi then felt her mother's glare, "is that why you've been wearing your hair down often?"
sukuna got confused then looks at mimi's mom "care to explain?" he took this as a chance to get on her good side "yeah mimi, care to explain?" mimi looks at her significant other not believing what's happening, mimi looks back and forth between the two 'this mf a snitch' mimi thought.
mimi then explained herself blaming sukuna since he's the one who pushed to get her cartilage piercing "don't blame sukuna, you should have told me" mom defended him, mimi gasp as she looks at sukuna who's smirking at her with the 'i won' face that mimi wanna punch off his face.
a lil bg; i already told my mom b4 that i want cartilage piercing but then she got wary with the news of someone got in a coma after getting it so in the end sadly, she only allowed me to get the lobe piercings.

Unforgiven - Taron Egerton
Tumblr media
Pairing: Taron Egerton x reader
Warnings: None.
A/n: This was very nerve racking to post, but I hope this answers all your questions.
Summary: There is something so achingly familiar about Taron Egerton. He captures your attention from the moment you see him at Rada, your new acting school. He is the one bright spot in a place where people are constantly judged, the students and staff are rude, and security cameras watch your every move.
Except Taron wants nothing to do with you- he goes out of his way to make that very clear. But you can't ignore nor shake the feeling that you know him. You were being drawn to like a moth to a flame. You need to find out what Taron is so desperate to hide, even if it shatters you...

Disclaimer: I do not know what college is like.. Yet. But I did some intense googling. This story is for entertainment purposes only, it is considered an AU. With that being said, hope you enjoy the story.
Chapter Fifteen: The Deal
You both stood on the ponds deck looking out over the water for a moment. Appreciating the silence and the shine on the water as the sun sets, colorful leaves slowly falling onto the water with each cold breeze. Finally, Taron turned to you never letting go of your hand before he grabs the other one bringing both of them to his lips before looking at you with puppy dog eyes that make your heart melt.
"I don't know where to start," he says while taking his thumbs over your fingers. "There is so much to tell you and I have to get it right." as much as you wanted a simple 'I really like you please be my girlfriend' confession you knew better. He had something difficult to explain to you, something you weren't even sure you were ready for.
"Maybe do, I have good news and I have bad news." you suggest shrugging slightly watching for a reaction. He nods curtly.
"Good Idea. Which one do you want first?"
"Most people want the good news." you chuckle and he tilts his head to the side.
"Maybe," he says "But you are not like most people."
"Okay... Bad news then." He bit his lip squeezing your hands.
"Promise me you won't leave until the good news?" you had no plans to leave but you were also feeling terrified as to what he was going to confess. He brought your hands to his chest placing them over his heart. "I'm going to tell you the truth," he says "You wont believe me, but you deserve to know even if it breaks you."
"Okay." a sinking feeling in your stomach took hold of you. You were glad when Taron made you sit down because you didn't trust your legs to hold your weight anymore. He paced the deck a couple times before taking a deep breath.
"Three years ago you were in an accident..."
You groan. You couldn't help it you had a dislike towards the whole accident topic. Besides, you wanted to talk about the thing going on between you and Taron not some accident that happened which nearly killed you. The accident wasn't going to hold answers to any of the questions you had about Taron.
"Just listen," he says shooting you a look that makes you shut up. "In the accident someone was with you despite what some might say. Do you remember the weather that night?"
You shrugged "I think..."
"Well," he seemed to be searching for the right words. "Someone took you home that night. Someone who loved you, who still loves you."
"Taron I don't understand what your talking about?" you watch as he takes a seat next to you on the bench.
"Of course you don't and I don't exactly have the best track record of explaining it to you." he lowered his voice taking his hands down your hair and your cheek smiling sadly. "But all I can do is try... Here goes nothing."
"Okay.." You tried to act less scared and confused than how you actually felt.
"I fell in love," he said taking your hands in his holding them tightly. "And it ended because of a mistake I made." you closed your eyes and withdrew your hands from his. He fell in love but it wasn't you... How embarrassing of course he was with other people than you. He squeezed your knee and it made you gasp. It felt the same as it did in your dream. "Look at me," he pleads and you do as he says "Here's where it gets hard." you swallow hard waiting for him to finish. "The person I fell in love with was you."
You had been holding your breath the whole time and you meant to exhale but it came out as a sharp laugh. "Right Taron," you say standing up  "That sounds horrible."
"Listen." he pulls you back down with a force that made your shoulder throb.  His eyes flashed an intense shade of hazel and you knew he was getting angry and so were you. "I'm begging you, let me explain." his voice cracked "The problem isn't loving you."
You take a deep breath, you willed yourself to listen to whatever absurd thing that came out of his mouth next. "What is it then?" he looked a mess you had never seen him act so vulnerable.
"I had to make a deal with your parents to never be around you again..." your heart plummets to your stomach as you stare at him in disbelief. The deal... The words he kept murmuring to himself last night...
"I'm sorry could you um... Say that again?"
"I had to make a deal with your parents." he repeats you were still lost and in shock of it all but a stream of words were pouring out of his mouth to explain. "I was driving you the night of the accident back home. When we crashed I was so scared I lost you. I woke up in a hospital bed remembering nothing for days until it finally all came back to me. No one would tell me if you were alright, I had to lay in bed remembering all the times we spent thinking you were dead. When I healed I visited you and found you hooked up to machines face busted up but you were alive and that was all that mattered to me."
"My dreams..." you say trying to say something anything. "They were real?"
"They are your memories Y/n,"
"What?"
"Memories from our past."
"Please-" this was absolutely insane. You wanted to plug your ears so badly but you knew you couldn't you had to listen to what he had to say.
"When we met, well... When you came here I tried my best to avoid you but you somehow always found me. I wanted to avoid the inevitable heart break but it never mattered because someone always had a hand in bringing us together again." he shook his head staring down at his clenched fists, looking like he wanted to hit something unable to raise his eyes to meet yours. "And when you saw me I knew you remembered. You had the look in your eyes the same look that night before the accident."
"Taron-"
"I can resist or leave you, or try my hardest to not respond to you but it made no difference. You fell for me again and I with you."
"Is that so terrible? Falling for me?"
"It will break your heart."
"Stop it!" you cry standing up from your seat "What are you trying to do! Scare me away?!"
"No." he snorts looking out at the pond. "Wouldn't work anyway."
"If you don't want to be with me..." you trail off hoping that this all was some sick joke and not your reality. This couldn't be the truth.. "There is probably a more believable story."
"I know this sounds incredibly-"
"Crazy?"
He smiles "I was going to say vague. But I'm trying not to hide anything from you. This is just a very very delicate subject sometimes just talking like this has-"
"Broke my heart?"
"I was gonna say broke my heart." he was in obvious pain and you wished you could comfort him but not now. Not after everything he was and is telling you. You didn't want to believe any of it but somewhere in the back of your mind told you everything he was saying was true.
"This whole thing does not make any sense- You're not making any sense." you say to him sitting down at the end of the bench keeping your distance from him.
"There is not manual on how to explain a situation like this to the girl you love," he says softly looking at you with pleading eyes "I'm doing the best I can Y/n. I want you to believe me, what do I need to do?"
"Tell a different story," you say in a cold tone "Make up a saner excuse."
"You said yourself you felt as if you knew me from somewhere. I tried to shut it down for as long as I could because I knew this would happen."
"Yeah from like one of the shops or something!" you say trying to hide the fear that was surfacing. "Like a pub or a restaurant not from my life before the accident!" you shook your head "No.... I can't-" the only thing you can't do was you can't remember...You covered your face with your hands. Taron uncovered your face.
"And yet you know it's true." he clasped your knees with his hands staring deeply into your eyes. "You may not remember our relationship, but I do. I remember when we hiked constitution hill because you wanted a picture of us together. You always did love the view of the ocean. When we took a boat ride out with my mum, step dad and two little sisters in Tenby for our holiday. When we went to London for the weekend together to visit your family in Liverpool. I bought you that beautiful gold LFC keyring for your car. You wore it around like it was a gold medal you never did use it for your car.... Sooner or later you will realize that everything I have told you is true but you won't let yourself accept what you might feel is the truth." you felt your cheeks heat up as if it were responding to the words that had just fell from his lips. You weren't sure of anything anymore. "I do all these things," Taron says leaning his forehead against yours "Because you are my love Y/n. For me, you are all I want and need." your hands went slack. You felt so betrayed and hurt and confused and angry all in one. It was all to much for you to even begin to understand or think about you had to leave.
You lean away from Taron and stood. Your head was spinning. You were with Taron in the past? your parents made a deal with him to stay away from you? and he accepted?!
"Y/n."
You waved him off, "I need to go somewhere. By myself. I don't want to be around anyone right now." You leaned against the railing feeling weak. How could he?
"You're not okay." he said standing out reaching for you but you stopped him.
"No." you say firmly. He stops what he is doing immediately.
"I'm so sorry," he sighs. "I don't know what I expected telling you, I shouldn't have..."
Shouldn't have? you were glad he told you because you were going to berate him and your parents after you could think properly. You never though until now you needed to get away from Taron, but right now you needed to get as far away from him as you possibly can. The way he was looking at you with eyes that were pleading for you to say you would meet up with him later to discuss more but you were no longer sure that was a good idea. The more he said the more you felt something in the back of your mind waking up and you weren't sure if you were up for it yet. You didn't feel like a crazy person anymore after the story Taron told, for once in three years you felt sane. You started off towards the school before you stopped for a moment slowly turning around.
Taron hadn't moved. "What is it?"
"I promised I would stay for the good news." you answer him and he smiles.
"Well the good news is... Your still here with me."

Chapter 6(2)
Chapter 6(1)
You felt tears in your eyes, tears that you didn't let out of them, "I just..I-" he squeezed your hands urging you to continue, "I feel guilty. Just not good enough for you. Feels like you deserve a better friend."
Dean's little action continued on the back of your hands as he sighed, "You know you've been a better friend to me in the last few months than most people have been my entire life, right?"
"Doesn't mean you don't deserve better."
"There's no better, sweetheart. You're the best. The best high school girlfriend I could have ever asked for," You let out a little laugh. Only Dean could do that, "Mom. She was amazing."
You knew where this was headed. Dean never talked about his mom, and today he was. You held your breath as he spoke that word. Dean was opening up to you, finally. You felt him stiffen, holding back, "Go on, Dean. I'm listening. I won't judge."
"I know you won't. Out of everyone, you won't," Dean's hold tightened on your palm, "I don't have a lot of memories with her, but the ones I have they're all good. She was the best mother." Dean talked about her in past tense, and your heartbeat rose at that. You thought he had a mother, everyone thought that, "When I was four, there was a house fire. Sam was very small, 6 months. Dad ran to save her, but she forced him to save us instead. And he did. I remember seeing my house burn, with Sammy crying in my arms, with mom.
You gasped, your heart aching in your chest for the scared little boy Dean was hiding inside himself, "In the matter of seconds, dad came and picked us up, running in the opposite direction of the house. I kept yelling at him that he needed to go save mom, but all my cries..they were subsided by the explosion that happened in front. Mom was gone...forever. Only because dad had to save me."
You let out a shaky breath. He couldn't have been blaming himself for it the entire time, right? "Dean, it wasn't your fault." You positioned your head, now, your chin on his shoulder as you looked up in his teary eyes. Your faces inches away from each other. You cupped his face with your free hand and wiped the lone tear that escaped his eyes. What all had he been keeping inside for so long?
"It feels like it is," He shut his eyes, letting his tears out, "everything feels like my fault."
Your heart literally hurt in your chest. He didn't deserve that, he never deserved that, "But it's not. He is your dad, obviously he'd save you, Dean. You-you can't be blaming yourself, De."
"I saw someone that day. In the cupboard," you frowned at the new information as Dean rested his forehead on yours, "But I thought it was my imagination. A man. He had yellow eyes. Golden ones.
"I never told that to Dad. I don't know why, I just never did. But that image wasn't something I could have forgotten. But I thought it was a dream. After mom died, Dad worked overtime. He was a cop. I had to take care of Sam."
"Ever since you were four?" You let out before you could stop. That wasn't something a kid should be responsible for. He shifted so that you both were in your earlier positions.
"Yeah. That day, when I was 10, after putting Sam to sleep, I thought I would go play outside. That's when I heard it. Dad was talking to someone on the phone. Mom didn't die in the accident. She was murdered. I got to know that mom was an agent. Undercover. I didn't know what that meant but I understood she was the police. I didn't know how to process this new information and that's when I got my first panic attack.
You shut your eyes, tears falling on your cheeks, "I went into the bathroom. It was hard to breathe and I was feeling hot. I wanted to cry but nothing came out of my eyes," you brought your free hand to his muscled arm and gave it a squeeze, having a hard time keeping yourself from breaking apart, "I turned on the shower and stood there till I was better. I never spoke about it ever again, until now. I trust you, Y/N. Please don't ever break it."
His voice sounded hoarse from keeping himself from crying, "I won't. You matter a lot to me, Dean. The most."
He sighed, as if getting some reassurance, "Depression knocked after that. There were times I almost k- killed myself," You hid your face in his neck, wanting to get closer to him, to see he was there, breathing. He took a pause, nuzzling into your hair, feeling some life himself, "But the thought of Sammy, it stopped me. Each and every time. Sometimes he called my name just before I was about to do it, or sometimes I'd just remember his smile and how it'd fade forever if I pressed the trigger. That was one time I got dad's gun. I didn't even know how to use it. Sammy was my savior, he was my light at the end of the tunnel. He was the one who first noticed my self destructive behaviour. I was 16 and he was 12. He was a nerd, obviously he noticed," Dean chuckled to himself, "And when he found out that I had depression, he was hell bent on helping me. Even after I pushed him away, he didn't budge. By that time Dad started staying in different cities, so Sam and I were pretty much all. Bobby visited us every few days, dad's best friend. That's who Sam told. I was very mad, telling him that he's not supposed to tell just anyone about it. That's when Uncle Bobby smacked me in the head saying, and I'll quote in his accent, 'Family don't end in blood, boy.'" Dean chuckled at his own voice. A sight you wanted to capture forever. How could someone go through so much alone and still be as good as he was? How could someone be so strong?
"Then? Your uncle did something?" You asked softly.
"Yeah. Lots of love and care," He smiled nostalgic, "I felt like for the first time that I had people who care about me enough to bear with me."
"I'm glad you had them. Uncle Bobby and Sam, both of them sound like cool guys."
"Oh my god, yes" Dean laughed a hearty laugh, "They're the coolest guys. I want you to meet them someday! If, uh, if you're okay with it?"
You smiled, "Yeah, I want to meet them too."
"Bobby owned a garage. He got busy with it, and Sammy started preparing for law school. And I thought I was doing better, much better. My panic attacks were less and I smiled more. But without them, it was lonely. I was scared that I'll go into that dark place again. That's when I met Cassie."
You clenched your jaw, "The Cassie?"
"Yeah," Dean gulped, "We dated in high school. The first girl I liked, I mean, really liked. I was 18 and it was my first serious relationship. I really thought we could make something."
"You….you were in love with her?" You breathed out the words, a sudden wave of hurt passing through you.
"I guess," he sighed, sounding hurt, "I had liked her for a long time and we hooked up. But I think we both wanted more than just a hookup with each other. She was attractive, you know. She was strong headed and confident, someone who knew what she wanted and she was gorgeous. And that was hot to me." Something you could never be, "And maybe I was hot to her too. We went out for a couple of months. Everything was good. I was at her place once, it was mom's death anniversary. The hardest time of the year. And after a long long time, I had a panic attack."
"She helped you, right?" You asked, knowing the answer to it very well.
"She said I was nuts," you clenched your jaw, feeling fury in your head. You never really cared about Cassie, until you got to know she blackmailed Dean to throw you in the pool and later bully you about it. But right now all you felt was her was pure hate. How could she? How could anyone be so insensitive to someone? And especially when that someone is her boyfriend?
"Bloody bitch,"
"Right?" Dean laughed a little, "It was a long time ago, though. I'm fine now."
"Don't act tough around me, Dean," He sighed, "Is that why you never told anyone about your condition?" He nodded timidly, "Oh, Dean."
This time you wrapped your hands complete around his torso, nuzzling into his shoulders. He deserved all the happiness in the world and what he got was all of this, "When that night you found me...you know, helped me. I thought it was going to be the same. We didn't share a very good rapport. I mean, after what I did with you the first day, it was understandable if you hated me. I thought you were going to laugh at me, or maybe tell everyone about how weak I was.
You felt a pang inside your chest at that accusation, you had never been mean to anyone so it felt bad that he assumed that about you. But you understood it, he had trust issues. The girl he trusted, even loved, did that to him so you were a girl who didn't get along with him, "But you were nothing but kind to me. You helped me. That hug was the realest hug I had gotten in a long time. You comforted me and you did all of that. And now that panic attack doesn't feel all that bad. It gave me my favorite person."
"You're my favorite person, too, Dean. I can't imagine a life without you in it, you know. And I promise you, from now on, you will never find yourself alone when you need someone," You pulled away from him and cupped his face, wiping the stray tears. In that moment, all you wanted to do was press your lips to his and pour all the love he was deprived of in that kiss, but you knew that wasn't something that could happen. So you did what you think was closest, repeat an action from the day. He looked at you with unshed tears in his eyes, and all you wanted to do was take his hurt away. You leaned in, slowly pressing your lips to the side of his mouth, tasting the saltiness of his tears. He let out a sigh, "I'm always going to be there, Dean, okay?"
He nodded against your lips and you swore your breath hitched in your throat when they slightly grazed his. You pulled away slowly, maintaining whatever little boundaries were left between you two. It was all friendly, "Thank you."
"Mm hmm," You stood up, walking towards the lake, "The swans are gone."
Dean followed you, "Seems like they are."
"And for the record, Cassie is a dumb bitch."
Dean let out a laugh, "Yeah, yeah she is,"  He stood next to you, seeing the reflection of the moon in the lake, "Why do you keep pushing me away?"
That was the last thing that you expected to come out of his mouth, "Wh-what do you mean?"
"You know what I mean. Every time something happens, you go MIA on me or act like nothing happened. This happened yesterday, before that and today in the fair. What is it that's holding you back from opening up? Is it that you don't trust me?"
It wasn't an accusation, he looked genuinely confused. You didn't think he'd pick on these little things, "It's nothing like that. You're just overthinking thi-"
"It's okay if you don't wanna tell, Y/N. Just don't lie to me. I don't expect you to trust me but the least I can hope is that you don't lie to me and make me feel like a stranger."
"It's not that..I'm sorry," You said, feeling exposed under his stare, "I-I don't know how to talk about.. things. I never did. You mean a hell lot to me, Dean. It has nothing to do with you. It's me. I'm scared. I wish I were as strong as you because trust me, I do want to talk about my feelings. I just can't."
"It's okay, Y/N." Dean sighed and your ears perked up. Is he done with you? Is that all? Your eyes widened as your head turned in his direction. He looked back concerned and cupped your face, "Y/N, I meant it. It's okay. Tell me whenever you think you can tell me. I'm going to wait. I'm not going anywhere."
"Please don't give up on me just yet." Your eyes brimmed with unshed tears, as he looked back with nothing but understanding.
"I'm not. I'll always be here." He whispered, slowly pressing his lips to your forehead, "I promise."
And that's when you knew, it wasn't a silly crush. You were in love with your best friend.
You loved Dean Winchester.
A/N: So that's about it. I really hope you liked this one because well, I mean I wrote it I'd obviously want you to like this. Ugh, I'm so bad at this. So yeah, I hope you had a happy reading. Feedback is greatly appreciated, it keeps me going.

Yoongi One Shot
Angst/Love
"10 years is a long time."
That voice was unmistakable.
Ten years was a long time, yet still not enough for the wound you'd thought long healed to be reopened in a matter of seconds.
Your stomach flipped. If you turned around you'd be standing in front of your first love.
"What's a big star like you doing flying commercial?"
He was blushing as you faced him.
He was just as handsome as you remembered but with all of the lost details now filled back in.
"I guess I'm just not as important as people think I am," he broke out his crooked smile.
"Still the same guy huh?"
The loud bing rang over the terminals intercom,
"All first class passengers may begin boarding."
"I guess that's you?"
He nodded, seeming embarrassed by his status. His manager was anxious to move him as quickly as possible.
"I'm sorry we don't have time to catch up. Do you think we can meet up when we land?"
Surely he didn't mean it, what else do you say to someone you don't know anymore?
"Yeah, that would be nice." You gave him a small smile as he walked away.
"Yoongi," you called out.
"I always knew you'd make it."
Tumblr media
The metal clicked in place securing you to your coach seat. You wished there was something as simple a seatbelt to tether your mind back from the cloud it was floating in.
It had been 10 years since you'd walked away from him. 10 years with no contact.
Of course, want to or not, you knew everything about his life. News of him was all over Dispatch, awards shows, radio, the internet… It had become a form of self flagellation to watch what you'd lost.
From the earliest days you knew he was special. Handsome talented, sweet but yet utterly stubborn and scared.
"I don't want to disappoint my family." He'd repeated those words to you so many times they'd been burned into your brain.
When you'd finally convinced him to move to Seoul you felt the world open up to him. Away from Daegu you could both finally breathe.
He was so happy the day he got the job in the recording studio. You could clearly remember the cheap Soju picnic celebration on your apartment floor. You smiled at the vivid recollection of the rice wine on his lips as they pressed against yours.
But happiness doesn't always last does it?
His frustrations grew. People were interested but not in the way he wanted. When Namjoon told him about the audition, it was the beginning of the end.
"Yoongi, sometimes you've got to do things you don't want to do to get to where you want to be."
"I'm a rapper Y/N, what the fuck is auditioning for these idol producing agencies going to do for me?"
"It will open locked doors Yoongi..." His shortsightedness always made you angry. "You'll meet more people, get your foot in the door, climb the ladder."
He always talked himself out of every opportunity, every audition, every chance to take a leap.
"Baby, they see something in you. You don't have to commit to a contract just go see what it's about."
"I'll never be able to show my face in the clubs again if I do that. You're asking me to sell my soul to the devil so stop talking about it because it's not going to happen."
"You don't think that's a little overdramatic? I can't sit here and watch you sabotage your own future Yoongi. I can't believe in you enough for the both of us anymore, I love you but I can't keep doing this."
Tumblr media
It seemed to him that some strange twist of fate must have put you here. He'd been thinking about you a lot lately and now destiny had placed you on the same plane.
If he'd learned anything from the past, from you, it was to take advantage of an opportunity when it presented itself.
Pulling down his tray table he rummaged through his carry on for the notepad and pen that were his constant companions.
My dearest Y/N,
Where do I begin? I'm worried you won't be waiting for me like I hope when the plane disembarks. I can't let you go without knowing you've heard the things I have to say.
The day you left Seoul I was hurt and mad. I should have been sad, but in all honesty it took me a while to find those feelings.
How dare you leave me? I was motivated to show you, I had to prove you wrong. I went with Joon to that stupid audition just to feel vindicated when they turned me down.
They didn't, but I guess you already figured that one out. Every single thing in my life changed when and because you walked away.
At first I blamed you for the way I felt, like it was your fault I made it. I still didn't have the foresight to see the outcome. I fought it, I didn't think I was good enough. I was afraid people would ask "How'd he get in here?"
But you knew, you always knew, I wish I could have seen myself through your eyes.
And of course you were right love. I can hear the thoughts in your head saying, "I'm always right Yoongi." (I know you're smiling at that admission)
Your beautiful smile, fuck I've missed that more than anything. I'm sorry I was the one who took it away from you. It must have been exhausting for you to feel responsible for my damn ego. I was so selfish back then, I didn't even try to build you  the way you built me.
You loved me, and I loved you, but only as much as someone who doesn't love themselves can. I've been working on that.
Who would have thought that one of the perks of fame was being able to afford good therapy? (there's that smile again)
My Therapist thought writing about it would help. I don't know if you picked up the hidden lyrics but First Love was for you. Big Hit wouldn't let me sing about you, about love, so they made me write it about my fucking piano...
I remember back then
We burned up the last of my teen’s
Yes the days when we couldn’t see an inch in front of us
We laughed, we cried
Those days with you, those moments are now in memories
Every time I wanted to give up
By my side you said
you can really do it
Yeah, I remember back then
When I was fed up and lost
Back then when I fell into a pit of despair
Even when I pushed you away
Even when I resented meeting you
You were firmly by my side.
So don’t ever let go of my hand
I won’t let you go ever again either
I miss you Y/N I need you to know.
Even if you no longer love me I hope I've made you proud. Everything I am is because of you.
You walking away changed me, changed my life and I'm so much better now. I didn't think I'd ever see you again or have the opportunity to ask but I need to take this chance...
What if you stayed this time?
Tumblr media
Folding the letter he rang for the flight attendant.
Providing an explanation of the situation, your detailed description and a big tip he held his breath as it fatefully found its way to your seat.
Tumblr media
Making your way slowly down the skybridge you were scared.  It felt like a dream.
The other passengers hurried past you meeting up with their loved ones in the arrivals lounge.
Would he be there? The lights and sounds grew closer...a few more steps to see what destiny held.
Stepping off the soft carpet onto the reality of the hard terminal floor you looked around.
Families and tears, businessmen on phones, drivers with pick up signs...but no Yoongi.
Biting the inside of your cheek you folded up his letter and shoved it deep into your pocket.
Closure, at least?
The luggage carousel spun slowly amplifying your sadness as the bags were picked up one by one.
The voice was unmistakable.
"10 years is a long time."
Your stomach flipped, if you turned around you'd be standing in front of your first and only love.
With tears in your eyes you faced him.
He was holding gift shop flowers in his hand out towards you.
"I'm sorry it took me so long to get here."

(I’ve just finished planning how this series’ ends and oof. shit hurts)
Tumblr media
Opening your eyes you blink a few times, hoping the weight holding your eyelids down will ease. “God,” You mutter under your breath as the pulsing in your head increases.
“She awake?” You listen to one familiar voice, and you force a light laugh.
“Of course it’s you.” You comment, slowly lifting your head up to be greeted by small smiles from Sam and Bucky. Your memory of the events leading up to this moment remains hazy. All you remember was Jason, him running at you, the silver blade and the luminous shades of red and blue from the sirens. “Whose genius idea was this then? Kidnapping me?” You ask them both and watch as Sam immediately points to Bucky who merely rolls his eyes in response.
“Wow, good to know you’re reliable Sam.” Bucky mutters as he steps forward, glancing down at the wound on your leg. “Take it that was Jason’s doing?”
“What’s it to do with you, Buck. I told Jason I don’t want any part of it.” You tell him, watching as Bucky keeps his cool eyes locked on yours. “Not that you’d believe that for a second anyway.” You mutter under your breath, knowing it’s the truth.
Sam places his hand on Bucky’s shoulder, averting the former assassin's attention. “She’s telling the truth.” He states bluntly, causing you to raise an eyebrow this time.
“And what makes you so sure?” You ask Sam, wishing you could cross your arms if they weren’t tied up.
Shuffling closer toward you, Sam holds back his fear as his eyes lock on yours. “I know when people lie. And trust me, you’re not one of ‘em.”
You glance over to Bucky, smiling. “See?” You retort before motioning to your hands and legs. “Now may I be untied so I can ensure my friend and colleague isn’t fearful of my location. I have classes to assist you know.” You huff, watching as Bucky crosses his arms over his chest. “Silent treatment, huh? Okay.”
“Look, we’re not planning on hurting you, Y/n.” Bucky tells you, his arms returning to his sides as he gives up on trying to outdo you in a silent match. “We just need to keep you low for a while, until Jason is gone or the whole thing has blown over.” Bucky explains, but you shake your head to him.
“Bucky, it isn’t going to blow over. How many times do I have to tell you!” You raise your voice, the irritation, the mild pain in your leg, the heartache you have for Steve. All of it is rising to the surface at the same time, you’re close to your tether. “Jason has a deadline. Kill Steve or he dies.” You state coldly, hearing the words leaving your lips as they’re not your own.
Bucky straightens up and sighs under his breath. “So you backed down then. For Steve?”
Lifting your heavy eyes up, you simply nod. “Of course I did. I, I’d do anything for Steve.” You explain, glancing to Sam. “Am I lying?”
Sam shakes his head, walking toward a door and Bucky follows him toward the exit as you remain seated, not that you had a choice in the matter. “What’d we do now?” Sam mutters to Bucky who glances over at you and turns back to face the guy he’s dragged into this mess.
“We gotta tell someone.” Bucky releases a sigh of defeat, something he didn’t want to do.
“What would you do if it was Rebecca, Bucky?” You call out, interrupting their conversation.
Closely, Sam watches Bucky’s expression change. His hardened eyes softening at the mention of the girl's name. “You don’t get to say her name.” Bucky spits, but you don’t flinch like most would.
“What would you do, Barnes?” You repeat the question, cutting it short. “Would you side with your sister because she’s family, or let her die because she isn’t who you grew up loving?”
Bucky turns back to face you. “I’d beat it out of her until she came to some sense.” Bucky mumbles a response, causing you to roll your eyes.
“What would you do today, Bucky. In this era.” You remark, and Bucky simply shrugs his shoulders. “Exactly. If Rebecca were to appear, a trained assassin about to kill Steve, would you let her and lose your best friend, or watch her die?”
The soldier remains silent. Words failing him as he lowers his head, the response you anticipated.
“She would still be your family, right?” You add, watching as Bucky nears the door. “And you’d willingly let her die?” You’re shouting, eyes focused on him as he opens the door and slams it shut behind him.
“You tried.” Sam mutters, giving you a half-smile before walking out of the door, closing it behind him.
You let out a small sigh before glancing down at the ropes tied on your hands. As if Barnes really thought this would hold you here. “Here goes nothin’” You mutter as you begin to force your body up and slam down, falling backwards.
Groaning loudly, you wince. You’ve torn your stitches, and you’re still tied up.
The heavy door opens, and wide eyes stare at you from Bucky. You let out a small laugh. “Any help?”
*
Bucky sat opposite you for hours, listening to you explain everything that happened. He wouldn’t leave without knowing every detail, what your brother said to you and what you might know about these people determined to kill Steve.
“But why Steve?” Bucky asks once again and you let out a long sigh.
“I told you, Buck.” You repeat yourself, your eyes rolling into the back of your head. “Steve is a good human being, and they do not want that. He’s the defence they can’t beat. And we both know the only way around someone you can't’ beat is to kill ‘em off.”
A shudder runs through Bucky, having seen you so sweet days prior and now bloodied up, sounding like the young woman he trained. “Careful Y/n,” He warns. “you’re starting to sound like him.”
You stare blankly at Bucky, hating the fact he said those words. “I’ll never be like him, Bucky.” You tell him coldly. “I promised myself that when I left.”
Leaning forward, Bucky rests his arms across his thighs. “So why’d you do it? Why leave when you had that perfect cover-up at all times?”
“You know I was going to die in there, Bucky.” You state, thinking back to how thin you became. Your spine poked through your skin, you were forever covered in cuts and bruises until Bucky came to help you, took you under his wing or moreso metal arm. “I couldn’t take it, the idea of being a cold-blooded killer until I was killed or tortured.”
“I know, and I am sorry you lived through that, and I am sorry I made Jason who he is.” It never left him, even after everything Bucky still felt the guilt eat at him. When you left, he couldn’t stay. He made your brother into a heartless monster and you an assassin with too much of a heart. Bucky tried looking for you, but he never succeeded. “I tried looking for you, you know.” Bucky speaks up quietly, and you raise an eyebrow.
“Guess you didn’t look very hard.” You retort, a short laugh following.
Bucky shakes his head. “Word got ‘round you changed your identity. With no luck with technology, I ran into dead end after dead end.”
“I couldn’t let anyone find me. I needed to start again, even if it meant moving away from everything I knew.” You can feel yourself back to the day you left. You were out in the world, no longer on a tight leash waiting to be pulled back.
It was overwhelming, terrifying and brilliant all at once. You could run and scream, cry and sing without consequences. Immediately you cut your hair, you changed your personality and style to blend in rather than stand out. You dedicated a year to blending in. That was until you met Steve.
Never in your life had you found someone instantly caring like Steve. A simple accident, a misunderstanding lead to so much more. His gentle hand on your arm to help you to your feet, the generous offer of buying another coffee as he smiled with his bright blue eyes. You were feeling things you hadn’t felt in years; butterflies.
“Something changed though.” Bucky states, watching as your eyes drift off, clearly out of the room and trapped in your own thoughts.
Clicking his fingers in front of your face, you snap out from thinking of Steve’s smile as he brought you close to his chest in the middle of the night, whispering sweet nothings to you.
“What?” You ask, sniffing softly.
“Nevermind,” Bucky mutters as he rises to his feet, unsure what’s left to say.
*
Walking through the compound with heavy feet, Steve can feel his heart being dragged ten paces behind him. Never had he felt the weight being so unbearable as he walked on shattered glass.
“Sam?” Steve calls out, seeing Sam sat at the kitchen counter despite it being 2am. “What’re you doing up?”
Sam looks at Steve with wide eyes before averting his gaze back to his phone. “Nothin’” He comments. “just reading about the news, seeing what’s going on in the world.”
Steve nods before sitting down a few seats from Sam. With a heavy sigh, he rests his arm on the table, holding his head in his hand. “How’d you do it?” Steve questions and Sam raises an eyebrow. “How’d you move on?”
Looking to his friend, Sam can see how much it’s affecting Steve. It’s only been a few days, but you’re definitely on his mind. Sam knows heartache, and Steve is a clear example of the damage it can have.
“Sometimes you don’t, other times you gotta make friends with your heart.” Sam states as he walks over, patting Steve’s back. “There will be others, Steve.” He tries to reassure his friend, but Steve shrugs his hand off, giving him a cold look.
Steve shakes his head. No, there won’t be. “You didn’t know her, Sam.” Steve comments and Sam remains silent. “She wasn’t what she seems. There was so much more to her than meets the eye. She is beautiful, full of mystery and full of love. God, she had so much love to give and she was kind enough to share it with me?” The longer he talks, the heavier his voice begins to sound.
Sam bites his tongue, wishing he could point in the direction of where you are. That you’re in the building, sitting in a room with Bucky. But he knows he can’t. It won’t help anything, only make things worse.
“Have you spoken to Bucky about it?” Sam asks, hoping to lead him toward Bucky. “I know he’s still up, you know how he is.” Sam rises to his feet, taking his phone before heading out of the kitchen. “Just ask FRIDAY, Steve. And remember, trust your heart, it’ll heal you.”
“Thanks, Sam.” Steve smiles to his friend as he wanders out of sight. “FRIDAY, where is Bucky?”
“Sargent Barnes is in the lower quarters of the compound.” FRIDAY announces to Steve and he hums, furrowing his eyebrows together before heading off as curiosity plagues his mind.
As Steve wanders further, he can faintly hear Bucky talking to someone. He pauses outside of a large metal door, one he vaguely remembers from Tony’s tour of the house. This was where they initially planned on keeping Bruce in case he went green, but it wasn’t going to be strong enough for him leaving it a redundant space.
“Why not tell him?” Steve leans closer, hearing Bucky’s voice.
His hand hesitates on the doorknob and applies pressure, ready to open it. “It’ll break his heart, Bucky.”
Your voice. You. You’re here? Steve freezes momentarily, heat and hate flooding through his body before he forces the door open, expecting the worst.
“Steve?” Bucky states with wide eyes.
“Hey, Steve.” You whisper, avoiding his gaze as his eyes are icy as he stares at you both.
“Either one of you care to explain this?” Steve asks, watching as Bucky looks over to you, hoping you’ll take the lead.

Hi, You totally make me ship Reincarnated!Darcy x Doctor Strange when i read one of your story ( though i can't remember which one now). Do you have any ship feels or fic ideas for this pair ? And will you ship these 2 soon ?
A/N: the anon is referring to this story.  Please note that I have not seen Dr. Strange and therefore my version of the character is played by Oscar Isaac.  Additionally, as in prior Mummy fusions/crossovers, reincarnated!Imhotep is played by Rami Malek.  This ended up way more Imhotep heavy than I intended.  Um.  Whoops?
Darcy woke unsettled, a state that was becoming all too familiar recently.  For the past week she had been having a strange dream.  It was vague and even now she was having difficulty remembering particulars, but it had been getting clearer every night.  There was a sense of something almost familiar, a feeling like home, and a rising anticipation.
Something was coming.
The uncertainty made her irritable, though she tried her best to hide it.  It was unfortunate for her that her current companion prided himself on both his intelligence and his observational skills.  Sadly, he tended to have little care for tact.
“You’re not sleeping well and something is bothering you.  Your concentration has been shot since you arrived,” Stephen commented.  “You may as well put that book away, you won’t be getting anything out of it right now anyways.”
Darcy groaned, rubbing at one of her temples.  “Haven’t you ever heard the phrase ‘fake it till you make it?’”
He raised an eyebrow at her.  “If you attempt to force yourself to concentrate you’re more likely to set the book on fire than you are to retain anything useful.  I like that book, Darcy.  It took me almost five months to track down.  I’d rather it didn’t go the way of that sofa you took issue with last month.”
“The springs had sprung,” she told him.  “I was defending any of your future colleagues and students from serious chiropractic misery!”
“Regardless, things have a tendency to catch fire when you get like this.  What’s the matter?”
“Just… dreams.  A dream.”
“Recurring dreams are often your unconscious attempting to communicate something important to your conscious self.”
“Yes, I know,” she said, reminding herself that he wasn’t trying to come off as patronizing.  Really, it was just the environment.  Here, in his Sanctum, he tended to be at his most wordy, his most doctory.  Sometimes she appreciated it, and others…  “If I could remember the dream then maybe I could try and get some message out of it.”
“Well, that is something I can help with, if you are interested,” Stephen said, shutting his own book and rising from his chair.  “Up,” he said, “I’d been meaning to show you this trick anyways.  It’s a focusing and organization technique that can be practiced solo or with a partner.”
Darcy rose to her feet, watching curiously as he raised his hands to bracket her temples.  “Are you actually going to be doing anything… invasive?  I have to warn you, there’s more than you’d ever want to see going on in here.”
Stephen grimaced, “I can imagine.”
No, you really can’t, she thought wryly.  He knew the basics of her background, that she came from a line of mediums and low-grade psychics.  He even knew that she had accidentally tapped into the memories of a few past lives.  What those lives entailed was a secret she kept far dearer.  It wasn’t diamonds, but long-term repression outright denial that was a girl’s best friend.
“This may… tingle,” he said.
She didn’t even have time to smile at his word choice before she was being swept into her own head.  Darcy felt a series of vague impressions, faint sense memories of her morning running backwards through her mind until she reached the point where she’d woken, then moving further into her dreams.
She saw sands on fire and smelled something dry and faintly musty that spoke of age and things long-buried.  She heard a faint susurrus like moving cloth or the pages of a book being turned or the faint rubbing sound of thousands of insect wings fluttering at once.  She felt the sun on her skin and cool water at her feet.  She tasted honey and spice at the back of her throat, sending a new kind of heat sweeping through her.  She experienced all of these things at once, and then something shifted, clicking into place, and abruptly she was not longer remembering the dream, she was in it.
Darcy stood, trembling, at the edge of a vast desert.  The sand stretched as far as her eyes could see before her.  Behind her, she could hear the sounds of New York as she knew them.  Looking down, she saw that her feet were balanced perfectly between pavement and sand.
“No,” she said, frightened and confused, and jolted backwards instinctively, away from the sand and the heat and the memories of lifetimes before.  She was suddenly jerked off-balance by a hand on her forearm, tugging her forwards and surprising her into taking a step into the sand.  She looked up into a face she didn’t know wearing a smile she recognized immediately.  “Imhotep?”
“I have been searching for you, and now you come to me.  Convenient,” he said.  He tilted his head to one side, frowning.  “Someone has been teaching you magic, their signature clings to you.”
“Old soul, new tricks,” she said faintly.  “I - ” Darcy paused, searching for something to say.  “Why were you searching for me?”
He tsked, “Truly?  Love of all my lives, playing stupid does not suit you.”
“We didn’t exactly part on the best of terms,” she reminded him.  “If I recall correctly, I left you to die, ran to save myself and ended up dying anyways.”
His hand on her arm clenched, making her hiss a little between her teeth.  “You perished?” he demanded.
“I tripped, there were scorpions, I wouldn’t recommend it,” Darcy said flippantly.  “It was a mercy, really,” she told him, serious now.  “Nobody should have to live with a fractured soul.“
“But you are whole, now,” he asserted, studying her intently.  “You remembered without my help, even before I started trying to reach you.  You are Anck-Su-Namun in spirit, if not in body.”
She shook her head.  “Anck-Su-Namun is dead.  I’m Darcy.  I have an apartment, not a palace.  I’m a student, not a millionaire or a concubine or a budding crime queenpin.  I live in the modern world and I don’t let my past, any of it, define me.  Death is supposed to be a new beginning, and I have died as Anck-Su-Namun too many times already.”
“You want to start over,” Imhotep said flatly.
“Yes.”
“Forget everything that came before?” he asked, biting out the words derisively.
She felt a wash of air behind her, it felt like cool metal and astringent cleaner and old books and a thousand other things that were familiar to her in her new life.  Finally, she thought.
“Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it,” Stephen said, and Darcy had never been so happy to hear that tired cliche.  “Darcy has quite enough doom in her life without you adding to it.  We’ll be going now,” he told her, clasping her shoulder.
His magic latched onto her and for a moment Darcy was torn, physically and magically, between the two men, between the desert and the city, her past and her present.  She looked at Imhotep and shook her head: “I’m not her, and I refuse to be ever again.”
“You cannot change your soul,” he said, and even as she felt Stephen’s magic pulling her away she heard his shout: “We will finish this discussion in person, Darcy.”
The desert melted into a blur of color which was swiftly replaced by the reading nook in the Sanctum.  Darcy collapsed into her chair, rubbing her temples and trying desperately to convince herself that she didn’t still feel sand between her toes and a desert breeze ruffling her hair.
“Well,” she said, semi-hysterically, “you were right, that dream was definitely trying to tell me something.”

My MatchaBlossom playlist
Here's the link to the playlist on Spotify-
Song meanings and POVs elaborated on down under.
Call it what you want- Taylor Swift
(Let's start with a TS song cause why tf not. I am and always will be a total slut for her 💜)
Okay, just the general vibe of this song is that of a person who's been through a bit and has now found a love so beautiful it's helping them heal and I feel like that ties in so well with Cherry and Joe's entire arc. I hear this song in Cherry's POV when Joe's affection is starting to restore his faith in love and life after Adam's done fucked it all up. Or even when his anxiety gets really fucking bad or whatever. It's just got big comfort vibes and I am a total whore for Cherry acknowledging and appreciating everything that Joe does for him.
All my flowers grew back as thorns,
Windows boarded up after the storm,
He built a fire just to keep me warm.
Explosion- Zolita
PINING JOE PINING JOE PINING JOE
*ahem* let me be more articulate.
TEENAGED PINING JOE
Don't call me about him I don't wanna hear
Put him out of your mind just make him disappear
Stop pretending you got nothing left to hide
My memory is slipping and it's killing me alive
Reached the bitter end
Can't pretend I'm not in love with my best friend, my best friend
Hate that you know me- BLEACHERS
Okay I think this song fits Cherry very well, especially when he is still trying to understand his dynamic with Joe. My personal headcanon is that Cherry is prone to bouts of self-hatred because of his anxiety and consequently, doesn't always consider himself deserving of Joe's love, and so, he tends to dislike it at times when Joe seems to understand him better than others and anticipate his needs so well, and I feel like this song depicts that beautifully.
Sometimes I hate that you know me so well (so well)
Sometimes I, I hate that you know me so well (and I hate ya)
Some days I, I wish that I wasn't myself (No)
No luck! (No)
And I hate that you know me so well
Heart attack- Demi Lovato
Okay, I can not be the only person who thinks of teenaged Cherry every time this song comes on. Imagine a Cherry who's flabbergasted by the strength of his feelings for Joe, and can never figure out what to do with himself.
Never break a sweat for the other guys
When you come around, I get paralyzed
And every time I try to be myself
It comes out wrong like a cry for help
It's just not fair; pain's more trouble than love is worth
I gasp for air; it feels so good, but you know it hurts
Lover- Taylor Swift
I have a very specific scene in mind when it comes to this song and that is MatchaBlossom slow-dancing in the first house they get together.
We could let our friends crash in the living room
This is our place, we make the call
And I'm highly suspicious that everyone who sees you wants you
I've loved you three summers now, honey, but I want 'em all
Make you mine- PUBLIC
You knew this song was going to end up on here lol.
Strangely enough, aware as I am of the fact that most of the fandom believes Joe was the one chasing Cherry (and I agree) this song just hits me as all Cherry's. It has all of his characteristic dogged determination and refusal to admit defeat lol
Well, I have called you darlin' and I'll say it again, again
So kiss me 'til I'm sorry, babe, that you are gone and I'm a mess
And I'll hurt you and you'll hurt me and we'll say things we can't repeat
Mess is Mine- Vance Joy
Slightly older, mellowed out MatchaBlossom, starting to realise they're in this together for the long run, that they always have been.
Further I feel like verse 1 and 2 respectively follow Joe and Cherry's POVs
First we have Joe, who is just brimming with the realisation that Cherry is his for good.
Talking like we used to do
It was always me and you
Shaken up and shipping out
Check me in and check me out
...
Hold on my darling
This mess was yours, now your mess is mine
Secondly, we have Cherry, who considers himself unbelievably lucky to have been considered worthy of Joe's love and keeps wondering if he is half as good a partner to the other man as he is to him.
See you in the market place
Walking around at 8 AM
Got two hours before my flight
Luck be on my side tonight
You're the reason that I feel so strong
The reason that I'm hanging on
You know you gave me all that time
Did I give enough of mine
More than Friends- BEKA HONNE
Baby MatchaBlossom pining. Really sweet, soft vibes. I keep thinking of shy, unsure junior high school Kaoru and Kojiro suddenly becoming blushing, stuttering messes around each other for a period of time as they both hit the realisation that they'd very much like to be kissing each other and it's very much not a Friend™ thing.
It happens after Joe has freshly realised that he is bi after all and Kaoru is exactly what he needs. Again, verse one reminds me of Joe, verse two of Cherry. They are down under respectively.
Driving home and those cats eyes got me seeing you
I'm always seeing you
I don't know how to tell you that I was wrong before
I thought I needed more
I was wondering if we could talk
I think about you every day
And the mixtape you made
Is all I ever to play
And every song reminds me that
You and I
Should be more than friends
...
I never thought I would see your face at my door again
Not at 3 AM
And I don't know just why I wasn't enough before
I thought you needed more
I know you came here to talk
Can't listen to the tape I made
It brings me too much pain
Cause every song reminds me that
You and I
Should be more than friends
This song can also work if you reverse the POV orders and then see it post Adam, but the vibe is a lil too soft for that.
Night go slow- Catey Shaw
MatchaBlossom but in a chill, lo-fi aesthetic.
The cars all stop where they are
When you take my hand, there is no time
Every moment that passes by with you
I wish I could rewind
Let go of your ways
And forget today
Just follow me tonight
Do you understand why I put all my plans on hold?
Not Afraid Anymore- Halsey
Okay, this one goes a lil heavy but imagine a traumatised Cherry, ya know after Ad*m, finally learning to let himself go and feel things again, emotionally and sexually, with Kojiro.
I also feel like they are two kinky bastards so really if you only wanna interpret it like that be my guest.
I am not ashamed anymore
I want something so impure
You better impress now, watching my dress now fall to the floor
Crawling underneath my skin, sweet talk with a hint of sin
Begging you to take me
Devil underneath your grin, sweet thing
But she play to win, heaven gonna hate me
People Crying Every Night- A R I Z O N A
I hear this song as Joe trying to get through to a hesitant Cherry, trying to make him see that while they don't get a say in so many other things, things that have happened and things that will happen, they get to choose the life they have together. They get to pick out their happy ending, build one out of scratch with each other and even if they have nothing else, at least they have this.
Oh and as the day
Turns into night
The things that we can't say
The things we try to hide
Like everyone else
We can't choose the way we die
Oh but we can choose
The way we live tonight
Oh I wish I had the answers
I wish I had the time
To give you all the reasons
Why it's worth it down the line
Ready to go- NEFFEX
This song is an ✨ aesthetic ✨
Okay but imagine, young, punk! MatchaBlossom, maybe around the time when they're travelling the world together?
It's all hot and heady, and Joe is thrilled by the wild, wild force of nature Kaoru is. He can't do anything but give in.
She said stay for a minute
Play with my limits
Drink till we're sinnin'
Baby I'm ready to go
...
She said she's finally alive
When she starts losing control
I said I know what to do
Just let our bodies go
Shine a Light- BANNERS
Another Kojiro song. This one reflects his inner struggle as he feels torn between wanting to comfort and protect Cherry after Adam, and the fact that he is hopelessly in love with Cherry who inadvertently keeps hurting him with how he is lost in the huge web of feelings he can't parse through, not completely blind to how much Kojiro loves him but not fully realising it either. This song reminds me of a confused and helpless Kojiro. Loving Kaoru is such an integral part of him that it makes him, him and it is his constant in the rapidly changing world around him as he stands on the brink of adulthood. He is very nearly ready to beg for mercy and yet knows he, himself is saved by the love he has for Kaoru.
And when the night falls, oh, call on me
Just don't forget to show me some mercy
Ooh, say you're mine
Ooh, take me higher
Sleepover- Hayley Kiyoko
JOE PINING @ HOMOEROTIC SLEEPOVERS WITH YOUR B(est)F
You wanna be friends forever?
I can think of something better
I'm just feeling low, feeling low
Sleeping here right next to me
But will you ever mess with me?
No
Thank you, my twilight- the pillows
Listen, this has been my fav classic Japanese love anthem for so long and to think it is PERFECT for Matchablossom just makes my heart go 💞
The lyrics are heart-wrenchingly raw and real, which is great reflection of Joe and Cherry's relationship. I include a translation of a few verses below, the first one seems something snatched straight out of Joe's internal monologues and the second one depicts the breathless intensity and loyalty so typical of Kaoru:
If you think it looks like I'm waiting for someone
Then you're right
I've been waiting for you
...
Sometimes people will ask me
"How far will you go for her?"
BABY as far as it takes
Wings- HAERTS
Another song depicting Cherry healing from Adam and learning to accept Joe's love, but a fluffier and sweeter way to go about it.
In which, Cherry decides to separate all of the sweeter moments of his and Joe's days with Adam from all of the bitterness, and carry that in his heart after they part ways and he finally moves on.
I will never let you go
I know you want it, know you want it
Learning love means not to know
I'll learn to take it,
Would you mind- PRETTYMUCH
Ending this post with a fluffy, flirty rec that could be Joe's anthem. See for yourselves.
Say you don't catch feelings, you say you ain't the love type
I'ma have to work, then, uh the whole night
Nothing like your ex, no, this ain't what you used to
Just give me that chance, girl, uh, won't lose you
See it? ;) Also, I feel like Joe had typical frat boy taste in music at some point so
