some of y'all are really sleepin on pro!fumi, i'm telling u. like hear me out for a second.

he's a tiny lil soft cute birb in his UA days but pro!fumi is tall and pretty and strong. he hides it under all that fabric on his pro costume, but he is not the skinny kid he used to be. he's ripped. also his feathers finally grew in so he looks intimidating instead of awkward.

he's so sweet. like so so sweet. easily rivals eijiro and izuku. he's just quiet and subtle about it.

don't even get me started on dom!fumi. i've already told you all he's got his own home dungeon that he built bc nothing was up to his standard he's just a little picky when it comes to providing the best for his sub.

Dark shadow is mostly blind that gets worse the brighter it is. It wasn’t as bad when they were younger but their vision has been getting progressively worse over the years. Their eyes are a sensitive area that when hit (both physical and light attacks) actually causes harm and they will need to disappear to recharge. They have trouble reading, drawing, and looking at computers screens but they do these things anyway because they actually like to have fun and won’t let a little pain stop them. They often ask tokoyami to read important things like signs, homework, and even someone’s facial expressions when it’s to hard to deal with.

I know you’re thinking “how can they fight so well then?” Well I think they have the ability to sense the environment around them (sort of like hawks feathers). When DS is disappeared inside tokoyami they can still “sense” what is going on around and hear conversations. The way this sense works could be multiple reasons:

Sensitivity to light means wherever light bounces off of and then hits dark shadow they be able to feel it…this is sort of how eyes work already though so I’m not a fan

Movement and sound causes vibration which they are sensitive to…which is exactly like hawks quirk so still not a fan

Dark Shadow can feel darkness. Light will be blocked where the object is so they can feel it. I like this idea best

In reality it’s probably a mixture of all three of these that gives dark shadow the ability move around so well.

Tokoyami will finally ask Hatsume to make special glasses for Shadow but it will take ages for them to wear them because they are embarrassed. The glasses/goggles will block light as well as enhance the image quality, so basically fancy prescription sunglasses. The only thing unique is that it changes sizes along with dark shadow, who grows in size the darker it is, there is a limit to it’s stretch though. Obviously these are strong enough to protect DS from being hit in the eyes as well.

A final but important point, when Shadow is in a rampage their eyes turn red. This limits their vision even more by literally creating a red haze over everything. They rely heavily on sensing and hearing movement. If you stand still and stay quiet you might live another day ;)

The silence that filled the air after your confession threatened to make your nerves waver but you held fast. He blinked, as if your words had confused or caught him off guard, neither seemed likely since they would be unbecoming of him. Setting your spine straight, you took a deep inhale to continue.

The raise of his hand stopped your prepared speech. “We’ve known each other for a while now and I can’t tell you how much I have grown to appreciate your company. You’re unlike anyone else I’ve encountered with nonjudgmental tendencies accompanied with honesty and integrity.” If it were possible you thought he was blushing as he turned slightly away from you, his gaze briefly falling to the floor before returning to yours. “I must admit that I am unversed within matters such as these but I appreciate your words of emotion nonetheless.” Dark Shadow appeared, carrying a small little grey satin bowed package complete with a black tipped red rose, his cheeks showcasing twin pink ovals. “Please accept this gift as our answer.”

Now it was your turn to shift slightly while accepting the gift which made you second guess the one you’d handed to him; a first edition leather bound tome of Edgar Allen Poe works complete with his unpublished works and a new cloak that you handmade so that he could move easier with Dark Shadow at the ready in case they were on a mission. Inside the bag was a small collection of crystals ranging from amethyst to moonstone to tiger eye all in the polished shapes that were meant to ward off ill luck and such. Amongst them you could see a tightly braided cord with similar beads that looked to be a necklace, which you held out to him while standing then turning your back to face him.

His fingers were quick in fastening the clasp around your neck once he too rose from his seat. The first of the many layers was lace which complimented well against your skin tone, a secondary layer subtly throwing rainbows across the surrounding area from the stones embedded within the chain, the third consisted of the beads resembling the crystals, and the final layer ended with a large impressive blood ruby which dangled within the valley of your cleavage. It was so beautiful that you for a moment wanted to question him how much it had cost but that wasn’t important. “It looks lovely upon your being.”

A smile raised your lips while turning back to face him, your arms loosely wrapping around his neck. “As the sun admires the moon’s beauty, I too bask within the devotion you shower upon my desert.”

“Speaking of,” he lowly chuckled while brushing the curve of his beak along your nose’s ridge, “I have prepared one last gift for you back at my residence, if you so choose to be my valentine.”

Your brow rose. “Is that so?” A put made to pull your lower lip. “It would be a shame to end our culinary espionage this early. Especially when you put so much thought into this picnic overlooking the black swans swimming in the pond.”

“Then here we shall remain until you are ready.” One of his arms carefully tucked you against his side, Dark Shadow playfully nuzzling your hair before regarding the approaching aviary with interest.

“Should I present that swan’s carcass as my way of saying ‘I love you’ too?”

“If you do, then I may commission it to be transformed into an accessory of your choice.” Fumikage’s gaze shifted, a shadow appearing within their carmine depths. “I do believe you would look ravishing wearing a black feathered mask at the next masquerade we attend.”

A smirk lifted your lips as they brushed against his beak. “And here I thought you’d rather use it for a corset.”

From his chest rose a rumbling growl which was mirrored by Dark Shadow, both regarding the now weary swan who looked ready to run.

Tokoyami Headcanon

So, I know we are all wondering what Fumikages bird type is

The mha wiki says it's possibly from a raven or a crow

Uhm, no, this is whether a crow or a raven, both of this bird types have a black beak which is far longer and sharper

But Fumikage has a yellow, much more shorter beak, so here are my three theories:

The Asian Koel

It would fit for several reasons:

It is black

It has red eyes

It's omnivorous

But the beak has the wrong colour, it's more light yellow and the head form is slightly off

2. The Eurasian blackbird

It's black

It has the yellow beak

But it has not the red eyes, it eats also mostly seeds and other plant stuff

3. The Alpine chough

(It's my favourite from all three birds)

It's black

It has the yellow beak

It's omnivorous

The red eyes are missing again but beside that it fits perfectly

In short: I believe Fumikages bird head is from the alpine chough

I also like this headcanon because the alpines are also in france and it would be funny if he could speak french, Aoyama would be so happy

This makes me thinking... is Hawks really a redtailed hawks? Because they are not entirely red and stuff

(I won't do research on him, all my redtailed hawk related headcanons would be gone and i don't want that xD)

Chuuya, Yosano, Fukuchi

Manga spoilers, Stormbringer spoilers

In Yosano's backstory, it's revealed that Mori brought her to the island to prove to the Japanese government that abilities can be used in war so they don't fall behind the European nations. After Yosano's friend commits suicide and she ends up in the hospital, the program fails

But we see the government use ability users in the current timeline? So who convinced? Fukuchi. Fukuchi was an ability user who we know fought in the war, is considered a hero, and has the respect of nearly all the nations. I think Fukuchi's actions during the war and his "success" during it is what showed the gov the potential of using abilities

So Yosano didn't show the potential of abilities in the war like Mori had planned, but Fukuchi ended up showing the gov. to the possibilities bc of his actions as a soldier using his ability.

But we're not done!! Because there's a very interesting detail in Yosano's backstory. Yosano is drafted 14 years before the current events, which is around the time Chuuya escaped. And I think she was drafted right after he escapes.

Because of the timeline, it is very likely Chuuya was meant to be used in the Great War (was experimented on during/before it by the military))

I also believe it's mentioned, I don't know exactly where (I think main manga and 55 minutes) that France is one of the victors of the war while Japan lost the war, meaning they were on opposite sides. So France, at war against Japan, heard about a weapon (Chuuya) and sent their spies to steal him so it could not be used against them. And this is why Verlaine and Rimbaud came after Chuuya.

So after Chuuya escapes, they have no superweapon ability to win the war. Then Yosano comes in, with their plan to use her to make an immortal regiment. It fails, so Fukuchi ends up becoming their superpowers ability user (his ability is incredibly powerful)

So Chuuya was the first attempt at the Japanese government using abilities in war, Yosano was the second, and Fukuchi finally proved the use of abilities

Chuuya -> Yosano -> Fukuchi

Also relevant to this theory is that N mentions he made Chuuya's body stronger and more durable. You know who also received modification to make their bodies stronger and more durable? The hunting dogs. But the government made it so the hunting dogs can't escape/leave (like Chuuya did!! Maybe the gov put this idea in place because Chuuya escaped and they didn't want it to happen again)

Aizawa: Tokoyami please stay after class.

Tokoyami: You cannot lie to the green monster that resides within you as well Aizawa.

Aizawa: No but we still need to talk.

Tokoyami: Very well then, I shall.

Aizawa: Oh kami. Alright so you alter your form. What else does your quirk include?

Danny: Well I have stereotypical ghostly abilities like flying, invisibility, intangibility, being able to turn things I touch invisible and intangible. I also have like ecto-rays and ecto-blasts and I can-

Aizawa: So your quirk status is just multiple bs convent abilities like the problem child. Plus while the problem childs' favorite past time is self sacrifice, you actually die on a regular bases. Do you also break your bones daily?

Danny: Hmmm, not in particular, but I do have my own healing factor so that's a plus.

Aizawa: At least Recovery Girl will like you. Well, then it's settled, you will be joining class 1-B. I already have to deal with 2 kids with multiple quirks, one who consistently is trying to kill themselves, one who is consistently try to kill their father, and one student who has activity attempted murder. Yes, murder, not homicide since it can be proven in the court of law that it was planned. Not to mention the ball of curses and anger, and the walking embodiment of sexual harassment. Hell would have to freeze over before I have you as another problem child under my care and responsibility in my class.

Danny: Well, I do have an ice core so I am physically capable of freezing over Hell.

Aizawa: No, I forbid it.

Danny: But you just said you're not my teacher. So I don't actually have to listen to you.

Aizawa: That's not how that works and you know it.
