why do ghosts have fangs.

like ok so we know that most ghosts have fangs (w the exception of Morro and Cole for some reason but I choose to ignore that in my interpretations because they in fact deserve fangs) but why do they have them??? What’s the purpose of the fangs ???

cause they’re ghosts. They don’t need to eat. Most animals develop fangs for hunting, or eating food, but ghosts don’t need that?

Gorillas have fangs for self defense reasons and to look threatening, which sounds more plausible, but like, they can manifest spectral weapons ??? And possess people,??? And they.. they can’t die?

Is it for other ghosts?? Do they get fangs as a way to fight other ghosts?? Do they just show them off to look scary to eachother?? Are there contests or hierarchies centered around fangs?? but then that falls apart bc of Morro not having any in the show but still being at least a bit respected and then chosen by the preeminent.

Speaking of, when do they GET fangs?? Like Morro’s been in there for like 40 years he has ghost markings but just. No fangs. Is there like a time requirement?? Surely the entire cursed realm can’t be above Morro’s age right there’s got to be SOME ghosts who came after him.

Do all ghosts have fangs and some of them just choose to hide them ?? Did Morro just look in the mirror one day and go nahh fangs are for wimps and just chose to hide them with ghost magic or whatever??

Personally I think the most plausible explanation is that they serve a similar purpose to vampires. They’re both undead creatures it’s not a stretch.

Except instead of sucking blood bc like ghosts don’t need that, they use their fangs to suck like life energy spirit essence whatever you wanna call it from ppl.

Like most ghosts get their energy from their anchors but then if they’re running low while unanchored/away from their anchor they can just. Snatch some life energy from a living person.

The reason they don’t use it offensively is because they only really take small amounts at a time to avoid pain the same way things like mosquitoes or vampire bats bite in a way to avoid the animal noticing during the action.

Maybe that’s also what the prisoners they took in Stiix were for ?? To keep the ghosts in ninjago before the preeminent came ???
