it’s not the same without you

Diavolo is left with remnants of you all around him. All the belongings you left at the Demon Lord's castle remain in the same spots they were placed in by you. None of them are touched, he can’t bring himself to.

A part of him feels as if he failed you somehow, he's supposed to be the demon prince yet he couldn’t even protect the person he cherished the most.

Whenever he eats dinner it always happens to be a human world dish. One of your favorites, for some odd reason he hasn’t wanted much Devildom food since you’ve left.

Diavolo goes through many stages of grief during this time.

At first he drowns himself in his responsibilities, so much so Barbatos questions if he is receiving enough rest.

However once you get him into bed he can never seem to get out, instead he stares at the pillow case next to him and sighs. Only a few months ago you were laying there next to him smiling as you both talked late into the night about anything and everything.

He loved talking to you. If anything he misses your voice the most. That reassuring voice always seemed to brighten his day as well as others around him. That lovely voice that would put him to sleep at night when he claimed to have trouble sleeping.

If Diavolo was honest he’d give anything to hear you call his name once again.

Barbatos finds himself lonely for one of the first times in his existence.

More often than not he’s gotten used to you being alongside him as he cooks or cleans around the castle. With that in mind he’ll turn over his shoulder to ask you something but then realize you're not there. Often times when this happens he’ll make a face then silently continue cleaning.

The numerous little D’s around the castle tend to worry for him because he’s always on edge lately. Especially after a certain trip to the market he made alone.

It was a morning like any other and Barbatos set off for one of his favorite outdoor markets. Diavolo requested a human realm dish and this place was the perfect place for acquiring human realm food.

You often went with him, explaining your favorite foods and what not to him when you got the chance. He loved leaning more about you at any given chance, especially if you were alone with him.

As he stepped into the market and gathered a few goods here and there he began to pay the shop owner and then man made a remark of him missing his other half. Barbatos knew that he was referring to you and with that he payed the shop owner quickly and then left.

Ever since then he’s stopping visiting that stall.

If he’s being honest he’s not fond of making your favorite dishes for Diavolo while you’re not here. However he’ll never mention that to anyone.

Simeon wishes to be an angel again, this was the first and only time he wished that.

If he was then…maybe he could possibly aid with your safe return. That’s what he tells himself anyway. Simeon can’t help but blame himself for whatever reason for your disappearance.

While you're gone he takes this time to comfort Luke as well as the brothers. If he’s able to keep a level head then it should make others less anxious.

He also takes up cleaning most of Purgatory Hall as well as the House of Lamentation when the brothers lock themselves away for certain periods of time.

Simeon tries his hardest to remain calm and distract himself with other hobbies he likes; however each little thing he does reminds him of you.

When he picks up a pen he thinks of how you adored his work, praised it even, as you laid on his bed while he told you numerous different story plots and tales he had for upcoming chapters. When he passes a store and sees only his reflection a pang is felt in his chest. Just a few months ago both of you shared a smiling reflection in a store window as you walked hand in hand with him.

He doesn't know how much more of this he can take, but he’ll never let anyone know that.

Luke bakes himself into exhaustion. Oftentimes he bakes recipes the two of you would make when you spent the night at Purgatory Hall. Recently however, Simeon has had to stop him because the countertops are overflowing with sweets as Luke puts a new cake into the oven.

Luke likes to carry out activities you both would do together, such as watching the same shows you liked to watch with him, or visiting the same places you would take him too when you weren’t with the brothers.

Luke misses you so much but he knows you're okay, Simeon told him so. Still that doesn’t calm his emotions any less. Because of this Luke continues to pray for your safety and will bless your belongings.

This has caused some issues with the brothers because they become unable to touch that item for a while.

Just like the others he sometimes will visit your room and just sit silently in there wishing and praying for your safe return.

Bonus characters

Mephisto finds himself ignoring the desk you use while you spent time in the newspaper club room.

Sure all of your belongings are there and in the same place as well as all the pictures of the brothers and your other friends. Even him. But he doesn’t care.

It’s not as if he dusts off your desk at the end of every week and does weekly checks on your camera to make sure it’s up to date and still has all of the saved pictures you took.

It’s not as if he hasn’t downloaded a copy of the photos on your camera to is own personal laptop and scrolls through the ones you took of you and him when he feels lonely.

Of course he doesn’t miss the human who invaded his club room and made it lively like they do to every part of the school they reside in.

He doesn’t even realize that he gets the same drink every afternoon from the vending machine. It’s not as if you brought it to him every time you showed up. He just drinks it because it’s good.

And no he doesn’t glance at the door every hour or so hoping you’d barge in. Thats ludicrous. But currently its only a hope in his mind.

Thirteen sighs as she looks across the Devildom. Usually you both would be sharing this beautiful sight together, however she’s alone today. Like always.

For her favorite human to disappear out of the blue like this made her very protective of your soul. At times she finds herself blabbing to your candle when she’s had an interesting day, or if she has a new trap idea.

To her it’s nice talking to the candle, but she really wishes to talk to the owner of it more.

At first Raphael didn’t feel completely lonely like the others. He had a decent relationship with you but it wasn’t nearly as close as Simeon’s or Luke’s for that matter.

However a part of him can’t help but try to comfort the beings around him during this time. He does truly care for the brothers so he does whatever he can to help them as well as Simeon.

At the end of the day he does find himself missing you. The conversations you would have with him were interesting and he loved the sparkle your eye would hold when he talked about his days in the celestial realm when the brothers were still angels.

He promised to take you to the celestial realm a while ago and show off in depth how beautiful it was. You smiled at his promise and he always remember that.

Sighing to himself, he currently wished to walk with you through a celestial realm garden to ease his mind.

Back when he was younger, he also had that sort of rage, not unlike Satan's. it was explosive and was very different from the demon you see today

before he met Mc, he didn't even know humans could experience such a problem but is willing to help you out

over all just super understanding

When he notices the anger beginning to bubble, he urges you to take a break and come back once you're ready

if he's not there when you get angry, however, his room is always open for you to hide and destress in, even if he isn't there!

he understands everyone is different and you will probably have different triggers and destressants, but he shares everything of his with you

he lends you all his virtually indestructible items he uses to calm himself but he also understands if you just want to let it all out

he's also there to just talk and let you vent if that's what you need

he wants to be the person he never had when he learn to deal with his rage and help you through it

he's another one that's very understanding

while he doesn't have personal experiences with the type of rage you experience often, he's always offering you anything to make you feel better

he's heard exercise might be the outlet for you, so he starts inviting you on all his trips to the gym to show you all the equipment

he also invites you on the more unconventional workouts, such as mountain climbing to show you some of his favorite sights

he learns what makes you tick and uses it to make you more comfortably by removing triggers and introducing things that make you happy to his personal spaces <3

see every time i remember how sheltered diavolo is it makes me hate his father that much more. he grew up with everything in the world, but practically nobody to share it with.

diavolo had to have been smart enough to have caught onto the reason behind mephisto's attachment to him at an early age. he might be dense, but he's not stupid. even if he and mephisto did end up becoming really good friends, diavolo knew early on that their proximity was for business and royalty purposes only, and that friendship and a genuine relationship was second to their professional relationship

i feel like this is why he initially thought of the brothers as treasures in regard to status rather than as people, and the mindset shifted to seeing them as treasures in regards to the relationship he formed with them. he wanted genuine connection, but forming a professional connection before a genuine relationship was so deeply ingrained in him that he defaulted to it without even realizing it

i feel like they know this is their last goodbye yk? obviously barbatos does, but this feels very, very final on their part. maybe it's a different version the feeling they have when they go into mc's room, like they can feel mc being pulled away from them physically

what if the end of the lesson or the story in the hard part of the lesson is them portalling back to their timeline and the brothers getting a glimpse of their alternate selves? and then everything clicking into place after mc leaves?

the fact that simeon has as many doubts about his father's intentions as lucifer and his brothers did really solidifies my belief that he wanted to, in the worst case, fall with the brothers. and if he didn't fall, he'd at least have begged for answers as much as lucifer did before the war. he was demoted after the war for helping the brothers in canon, and i feel like he still beats himself up about it because of the side he chose. him and raphael both, but raphael is better at hiding it

i've said this about a million times but...

the brothers ever 🫶🏽

they're such shitheads but also extremely concerned i love their dynamic sm

SEE I TOLD YOU ‼️ HE MASKS HIS FEAR WITH ANGER (even though i'm pretty sure this was confirmed in canon in the og game and in nb s1)

him admitting that he was scared though? putting his pride aside and actually talking about his feelings for once? this is proof of how much he trusts mc, how much he loves and cares for them, even if he can't explain why the feelings he holds for them are so strong

it also shows that he's thankful to have someone who will care about and protect his brothers as much as he does, and some of the weight of the "oldest brother" mantle has been lifted. it allows him to be vulnerable and at least a little more carefree, which is why he's seen joking and laughing with his brothers so much more often in the later lessons in comparison to season 1 and early season 2

i feel like i'm SUPOOSED to reach bc why would he phrase it like that ??? i don't think he knows...but he's really intuitive

or maybe this was a way of the devs using him to unofficially-officially send us off and into our original timeline. idk. i'm reaching but they made me

There's no doubt that you two end up on the front page of the Devildom newspaper a bunch of times. You're a hot topic! People love to hear even the most trivial things, like how you two went on a date at ristaurante six, featuring a picture of you two holding hands as you walk down the street together

| • what did you see in him ? compared to everyone else you knew ,, he wasnt much to you . at least ,, thats how he felt and what he thought . somehow ,, you saw more than just his wealth and title . you saw more of him ,, his interests and dislikes .

| • he knew you worked hard ,, but it didnt stop his mind from being plagued with not the nicest thoughts . he couldnt stop himself from wandering if youre purposely taking on more work to keep yourself busy and away from him . was it true ? he hoped it wasnt ,, but he wouldnt be surprised . he wasnt as interesting as the seven brothers were . nor did he have money or power like diavolo and barbatos ,, or solomon . he was far from being holy and pure like raphael and simeon . he wasnt as funny or affectionate as thirteen either ,, he knew that .

| • but every time you would text him an apology ,, he couldnt help but bite the vile feeling in his heart . how it clenched in his chest whenever he would read the message and reply with reassurance that it was okay . even if it didnt feel okay .

| • at least ,, you werent aware of it until you dropped by the newspaper club room with a gift in hand for your lover . you realized you had gotten busy and carried away ,, barely seeing him in the halls and missing his texts when he'd send them during class or work .

| • a small treat from madame scream's and some matching jewelry you had saved up for held close to your torso as you opened the door ,, eyes catching mephistopheles as a smile curled on your lips .

| • you would apologize for neglecting him ,, presenting him with your gifts as you awaited for a response . it took him a few moments to realize the situation ,, emerald eyes wide with emotion and heart beating frantically within his chest .

| • a pout formed on his lips ,, standing up from his chair and pulling you into his embrace . his arms snug around you ,, trying to prevent himself from showing anymore weakness than he already was . especially in r.a.d. where anyone could walk in and see how vulnerable he was .

| • " thank you my dear ." he whispered ,, pressing a kiss to your head and opening the present box . inside were two necklaces ,, resembling hearts and two different letters on each one . a 'm' on one for his name ,, and another to match the first letter of your name . intertwined together ,, he unraveled the necklaces from each other ,, witnessing the half heart they made when taken apart .

| • “ i can help you put it on !” you offered with a smile ,, hand held out . he placed his half in your palm ,, leaning down to let you put it on . he shivered slightly when the cold metal brushed against his warm neck ,, your hands rustling lightly against his hair as you clipped it on .

| • he would forever treasure your gift ,, hiding it under his r.a.d. uniform but sometimes you could see the chain peak out around his neck . it would take more communication between you two ,, but you would help with his insecurities and make him feel as loved as you could .

a little fluffy thought i had in my head at 2 fucking am because i couldn't sleep and i'm obsessed with barbatos😋😋

demon!mc who accidentally met with diavolo and barbatos one day and diavolo's like "oh you look interesting" and takes them to the castle💀

diavolo makes mc as his guardian(or smthn), like they are literally almost always at his side. one day diavolo suddenly goes "hey i kinda want to be alone right now" after the demon king is gone

so mc goes outside of his office and wanders around until they met barbatos. even if they have met each other like for a lot of times, they never really spoke to each other. barbatos smiles at them and continues whatever he is doing in the kitchen

mc follows him because they have nothing better to do lmfao, and decided to help him do dishes, make teas, bake cakes and alot of stuff. It become like a little tradition between both of them until diavolo caught on (which was kinda quick) and was like

"hehe."

so he decided to like "you can go and do something else, i have something important to do" to both of them because he knows they will meet each other 'secretly', and barbatos knows he knows, mc is like the only one who still thinks it's a secret. Until the brothers came from the celestial realm. Fell in love with mc, blablabla. And you know how diavolo is.

He probably told everything about mc and barbatos to lucifer and/his brothers everytime they met each other that lucifer gets sick from it. The brothers were not happy hearing the story though. Because diavolo always said "whenever mc meets barbatos, they are always 10×, or maybe 100× happier or much more excited than meeting any other demons, probably including you all!(he laughs loudly after that)"

AAAAAA I LOVE THESE CHARACTERS SM!! thank you for requesting!! I hope this is good enough!! I didn't know if this would be for a poly relationship or independent, but I wrote it for individually if that's okay- I can always do one w a poly relationship!! Also this is a little short bc I have way more requests than expected 💀

What it would be like to date...

Solomon;

This guy is a sneaky wizard, and although he is described as shady he has a good heart.. I guess-

Will probably make and request you his food, and if you pull through for him that would leave him giddy and you dead(most likely)

Probably to avoid this; you'll try to bake with him as much as you can. Teaching him properly on how to make good food, yk? He'll enjoy the company and won't catch onto you trying to save everyone's life-

A side from food, if you are an average human, he'd love to teach you so much about magic!! If theres one thing he's skilled at, it would be that.

Probably would teach you simple tricks for protection against demons in the Devildom, or even simple things to get you through the day.

He would also love to have movie nights whenever the two of you are free, Asmo may or may not tag along out of no where to give you two a complete set of face masks, skin care products, fluffy socks or even slippers, and snacks for you both to share.

Simeon;

The. Sweetest. Dating. Partner. On. Earth.

And in the Devildom or Celestial Realm..

Either way, he'd be the sweetest. He is that type of boyfriend to always check up on you, as well as your mental health, and will do anything you ask of him on way or another.

You two, when you're both free, would go on cliche dates. This could be going to the movies, a fancy restaurant, arcades, or simple days out the both of you can enjoy each others company.

Or if you two aren't feeling going classy, you both usually just look after Luke to feel like a complete family. Luke will notice the close loving nature of you both, and feels appreciated at the fact you're including him in some sort of way. He may even call you Mum/Dad accidentally at some point-

Simeon, as well, from time to time will gift you with expensive gifts. These would be rare, but be as pretty as a specifically enchanted ring with some sort of benefit, or if you have any particular interest in something he will do all the give it to you!

Diavolo;

As Prince of literal Hell, he won't have a lot of free time to spend with you. He'll have a lot of paperwork 24/7, and events to attend or arrange.

But you know damn well he'll somehow escape the eye of Barbatos to sneak out and spend time with you, and would probably enjoy every moment on it.

Although, apart from that, his love language has some sort of take on gifts. He loves spending money on whatever you fancy on doing or what you want without a problem. He will buy you many outfits for any events you two will attend, even down to any powerful objects lost in time you're so desperate to get(as long as he knows its safe for you to have) or a trip you want to go on.

Although that. he will also treasure communication! He will send you little text between every sheet of paper work he does, a positive sticker to send everytime you reply too. Honestly, you're his main distraction in the way of doing daily chores.

Also one to take you out on cliche date, especially to some sort of arcade to go on rides with you and to win prizes for you to have. Or even something like a circus, something exciting for the both of you to have fun with.

You probably have matching plush toys with him, or make him start collecting them

Barbatos;

Will try not to get distracted by you during his working hours, that being all the time, but he just can't help it! He could stand their for hours, just listening about yourself and your interests.

Tea dates between you and him, or if not, somewhere typically private for you guys to not be in public and to enjoy eachothers time without interruption.

Will help you with any tutoring you need, for any subject and is on a mission to make it easy to understand for you. He's patient and willing to provide anything you need.

Anytime you go to sit down at a table, he pulls out the chair for you to sit down.

Makes lunches and food for you whenever you can to make sure you're healthy and eating the right nutrients, and will go up to the human world for any snacks you're craving.

Will even give you baking lessons if you're really interested, it would make his day to instruct you on the many traditional Devildom delicacies you want to learn.

Levi: sorry i feel like he would think it was cool but also be jealous about how cool u look by randomly saying stuff in russian. He would also try and learn russian in secret aswell lol. how far can you push someone until they break?

Suffocating.

It was as if you were being followed and dragged along by everyone.

Everyone was too overbearing.

You began to feel suffocated with their presence.

It was cute how they acted at first, and honestly you understood why they were so clingy. Their version of you never gave them any human affection since the incident, and of course they would soon grow touch starved. You understand where they were coming from, you really do.

But, it has come to the point where you’re not even able to go to the restroom alone without one of them freaking out. They had to be with you, they had to be touching you, they had to be talking to you.

They needed you to function.

But you didn’t need them, and they didn’t understand that.

And if you weren’t with one of the brothers then you were with the prince and his butler. As of this week you’ve been to the Lord Demons castle four times, and it’s only the middle of the week. It was tiring.

What was even more tiring was playing nice with this Diavolo and Barbatos, even though you found them to be shadier than the ones from your timeline.

The long continuous walk to the castle started hurting your feet. The walk to RAD tired you out since you spent all your energy entertaining the brothers, making sure they all had equal amounts of attention. The heavy workload of classes was also tiring to keep up with. And lastly, making sure everyone was happy had to be the most exhausting.

And lately you couldn't even enjoy the comfort of your own bed alone because Belphie found that to be his favorite resting place.

They were suffocating you.

What was even worse is that they began to become emotionally dependent on you for things as well. You’re not a therapist for crying out loud.

You have problems too, you’ve been through stuff as well, but just like your demons they push your needs to the side.

You were becoming fed up with them.

You sighed as you rested onto the couch in the music room. You felt your body relax as you sunk into the plush fabric, leaning your head back you hoped none of the brothers would find you in here. You needed peace and quiet just for a few moments.

You soon realized that you found yourself doing more here, with these brothers than you were doing with yours.

You didn’t like it.

You didn’t like how much of a pushover you were. Were you really always like this?

You didn’t like how easily you fell back into your routine again.

You didn’t like not being able to have any alone time, but you couldn’t help it. No matter how fed up you became you never learned how to say no to them.

They had constantly bombarded you with expensive gifts, or even food. And if you told them to back off they did, if you told them you were busy they wouldn’t bother you, but they always were together with you later. And because of this it was harder to get upset at them because in their eyes they were just being nice and you were in the wrong.

As you tried to think about what to do Mammon suddenly opened the doors to the music room and ran towards you.

“There ya are! Come on everyone’s waitin’ for ya” he said grabbing your hand and dragging you off the couch

You groaned at the loss of comfort from the couch and followed him anyway.

Everyone’s waiting? What did he mean by that? You questioned.

Looking down at his hand you felt a sense of unease. Mammon’s touch had never bothered you before so why now? Why did you want him to let go?

Why did your skin feel so unnerved by a single touch?

“Here we are!” Mammon said, leading you into a dark room.

“What-?”

“Surprise!” was shouted at the top of everyone’s lungs, as the lights turned on to reveal some confetti and what looked to be party decorations.

“A party?” You questioned looking at the seven demons in front of you.

“Yeah it’s for you darling! Do you like it? Were you surprised?” Asmo gushed.

“We spent the whole night setting up so you wouldn’t notice,” Levi smiled.

“We also made a bunch of food for us to share” Beel then said, looking towards the feast at the table.

“I hope the decorations are to your liking, I picked most of them out.” Satan said.

Smiling at all of them you decided to ignore that unsettling feeling. “So what’s this party for exactly?”

“We just wanted to throw a party to show you how much we appreciate you Mc” Belphie smiled.

You felt your heart throb. Perhaps you were being too harsh, maybe they only meant well and you were just being dramatic.

“Well that’s part of it, yes, but we can discuss the other details later. We should start eating before Beel explodes.” Lucifer said, eyeing the sixth born.

“Mc sit next to me!” Mammon yelled as everyone began to take their seats.

You did as he asked and all of you enjoyed delicious food not only from the Devildom, but from the human realm as well. The table conversation was nothing but eccentric like usual, but you kept up; still smiling and laughing with (your demons) them.

They continued to shower you with praise and many gifts well throughout the evening as they each spent individual time with you after the party.

It was as if you were forgetting something important. You could feel it, but again decided to ignore it.

Next came your time with Lucifer.

You met him in his room this time, however he was way more relaxed then you had ever seen him. It made you a bit nervous.

As you joined him and talked you soon found yourself in a comfortable state completely forgetting why you were so nervous in the first place.

It was always nice talking to Lucifer because he always had good advice to give no matter the situation.

So when you asked about this unsettling feeling that you had been getting lately, he claimed that it could be due to all the stress from the mix up and everything you had experienced these past few weeks.

“Some rest would do you well. It’s important to take breaks, you know, humans can’t function like us demons so I wouldn’t want you working yourself too hard.” Lucifer smiled.

You nodded and thanked him for the advice. As your conversation progressed you couldn’t help but let your eyes wander to his lips. When was the last time you had kissed him?

Of course with these brothers you continued your morning and night kisses like you did with yours, but nothing more came from that. It was as if they were too scared to be intimate with you.

Lucifer took notice of your wandering eyes and leaned a bit closer at his next response to your last statement. Eventually you two got closer than ever and began to stare into each other's eyes.

“Mc, could I ask you a question?”

“Of course” you replied, hoping that you were correct with what he was implying.

“I know we’ve talked this over before but this time I really would like to get a solid answer from you.”

“Okay…?”

“Will you make a pact with me?”

Your heart sank to your stomach.

“What..? Why are you asking that again?” You questioned, moving the slightest bit away.

“Because last time I asked you, you said you would consider it. So have you reached a conclusion?”

You bit your lip trying to figure out what you should say. How could you nicely decline him? Of course under any other circumstances you would have made a pact with him, but this isn’t your choice.

It’s up to you from this timeline to make that decision, besides you already had a pact with Lucifer from your timeline, so you were perfectly fine with just him.

“Um Lucifer, I-“

“Your times up Lucifer, I’ve been waiting for Mc for the last three hours now so give them up.” Belphie said, knocking at the oldest door.

Lucifer sighed and looked annoyed. “If we ignore him he’ll just leave”

You mentally cursed at him because you didn’t want to go back to your previous conversation. “Well yeah he might leave, but I haven’t hung out with him at all tonight so it’ll just be for a little while, is that okay?” You asked.

Lucifer sighed and nodded his head. “If that’s what you wish to do then go ahead. However after you’re done with him please make your way back over here so we can go finish our conversation”

You nodded and darted towards the door a bit faster than you would have liked, it didn’t matter though, because the second you opened the door the youngest yanked you out and shut it behind you.

Throwing you over his shoulder he walked towards the planetarium. Sometimes you forget how strong he actually was.

You shouldn’t get too comfortable, after all he crushed your throat like a twig.

Shuddering at that thought you then wondered when you suddenly began to think like that.

“Here we are,” Belphie said, placing you down on one of the nice couches.

“Thanks”

“So how was your time with that grumpy old man? I hope he didn’t bore you to sleep” Belphie asked, turning towards you.

You laughed in response and told him about your time with Lucifer and even the others.

Belphie liked watching you talk now. You had a glimmer in your eyes whenever you spoke about things that interested you. It was nice to see sparkling eyes for a change, he had begun to be annoyed with your dead ones after all.

The you from this timeline hated him, and he greatly disliked them in return.

No matter how big or grand of an apology he gave to them they never accepted. Instead they liked to harass him and pick on him. This made the youngest upset because the only one who could stop you front belittling him was Lucifer since the two of you never had a pact.

But if he wasn’t there then it was hell for Belphie. Because if any of his brothers tried to step in as you would scream at him they were met with the pain of your pact.

So Belphie disliked the other you, but he couldn’t bring himself to hate you, not like he previously did.

So he waited and hoped that one day, just once, maybe you would finally forgive him.

And that day came when you arrived.

You showed him compassion and even kindness the other you refused to give. You were intelligent and knew a great deal about the Devildom stars, (which he found quite attractive). But lastly what he favored the most was the fact you forgave him.

Well he believed you forgave him.

As he was thrilled with forgiveness, you were still longing for an apology.

“Look Mc, the sky is shining down upon us tonight.” He smiled.

You looked up and awed at the beautiful stars littering the dark Devildom sky. Sometimes you forgot how truly beautiful the Devildom actually was.

“The stars reflect off of your eyes beautifully” he said, leaning in closer.

You smiled and rested your head on his shoulder. Belphie sighed and rested his head on yours, then waited a moment before speaking.

“You know Mc, I really adore you. These past couple of weeks have been lovely and I’m so glad you’ve come to the Devildom”

“Thanks Belphie, I’m glad you think that '' you replied, however you again felt that unsletting feeling that he wasn’t telling you everything.

“Of course. But can I ask you something? And can you promise to fulfill my request?”

You lifted your head up to face him and gave him a confused glance. “It depends on what the request is Belphie.”

“It’s a surprise. So I don’t want to ruin it, however you have to promise me you’ll fulfill it”

You gave him a look and then sighed, what’s the worst that could happen?

“Fine, I’ll fulfill your request”

Belphie smiled and then grabbed your hands, holding them in his. “Mc thank you for everything so far, so to repay you I’d like to offer myself up to you.”

No.

He said those lines too. When he made a pact with you he said he wanted to offer himself to you.

“Belphie…I can’t. I’m sorry” you replied.

His face shifted from admiration to annoyance, and you remained on guard.

“And just why is that? Sure you can refuse Lucifer, but me?”

“Because this isn’t my timeline. I can’t make that choice because this isn’t my actual body.”

“But you can now,” he smiled.

“What exactly do you mean by that?”

“Well I wasn’t supposed to tell you because it was a secret, but everyone here feels that you should stay here with us and forget about your timeline.”

“What? No I can't! I have to go back eventually Belphie, they need me.” You said, raising your voice the slightest.

“Do they really need you? All the time you’ve spent here not once did they even try to contact you. Face it Mc they don’t really care about you over there so just stay here with us, please.”

“Belphegor enough. I’m not doing this with you right now.”

“Mc please, you promised remember!”

“I did that to make you happy! I never actually meant it” you screamed.

“What…but you said-“

“I was lying Belphie! I am only nice to all of you because you look like them. But none of you are actually my demons! I only accepted your apology so that you would stop throwing a pity party for yourself and actually move on with your life”

“I’ve never actually loved any of you.” you spat.

After the words left your mouth you remained still, shocked even at the fact you said that to him. You didn’t mean it, it was just a heat of the moment thing. Right? You had never been that rude to any of them before, not even Belphie. But in a sense it felt good for once to let out a bit of anger.

Belphegor stood there in disbelief looking over you trying to process your harsh words. He then walked up and harshly grabbed your wrist, almost twisting it in the process.

“How dare you” Belphegor said, voice laced with venom.

“Mc you don’t really mean that do you..?” Asmo said, opening the door to the planetarium.

He had tears streaming down his face as he looked at you. They were all listening…

You looked towards the brothers as some wore sadness and others wore anger. You had to choose your next words carefully, otherwise forget about going home to your timeline, you might not even make it to tomorrow.

“Asmo listen I-“

“How could you be so cruel to us? Don’t you think we’ve been through enough with our Mc? Now you have the audacity to do something as horrible as this to us!” Levi cried.

“Humans are worse than us demons, they only care about themselves and hold no regard for others around them.” Satan said, raising an eyebrow in your direction. His glare was ice cold.

“You’re the worst! After all, we've been through together! After all the things I’ve opened up to you about, you mean to tell me this was all a lie” Asmo yelled.

“Are we some sort a joke to ya human? Was all that crap you fed us just to make us feel better?” Mammon said, not even turning to face you.

“Mc, I thought we were finally becoming close…but I never knew you could be such a heartless person.” Beel sighed.

“Mc…how do you feel now that you’ve made a fool of us all? Does it make you feel better about yourself? Does it? Please do enlighten us.” Lucifer spat.

“I hate you.” Belphegor said softly.

“Everyone listen I-“ you tried to say.

They had all cut you off to begin yelling at you again. Like always, them and your demons constantly dismiss your feelings.

“This is all your fault!”

“After everything we’ve done for you?”

“After how close we’ve all gotten?”

“Humans are horrible creatures”

“We should’ve sent you back to your timeline if we knew you’d cause this much trouble”

“We shouldn't have been so naive to trust them.”

“We should’ve just left you to die.”

Your throat felt dry at that statement.

Their words kept coming one after another; and they were harsh at that. Each insult resulted in you blinking repeatedly trying your hardest not to cry.

Cry…

Cry?

Why should you cry? They're the ones that are at fault for this, not you. They’re the ones who have been constantly love bombing you these past few weeks, along with draining every ounce of energy you had left. They’re the ones for your constant stress. They’re the reason why you don’t stand up for yourself.

“You need to stop being so pathetic and start being selfish for once.” A voice said. It was the same one from the time you had a breakdown in Lucifer’s office. It was your voice.

They were right.

If you continue on this path of trying to please everyone, you’re the only one who’ll get hurt in the end.

“Shut the fuck up.”

You hadn’t even yelled, yet your command shook the demons willpower, well the ones you had a pact with. The other two watched as their brothers began to fall silent.

“You want to see horrible? You want to see cruel? Fine then I’ll show you horrible and cruel.”

“Kneel”

The five of them fell to the floor as the other two stepped in front of their brothers protectively.

“Lucifer make a pact with me.” You said.

“Excuse me-“

“Now. Or would you like me to knock the shit out of Mammon?”

The second born tensed up as you mentioned his name and Lucifer gave him a quick glance.

“Fine.” He responded.

And the pact was made.

“Belphegor your next.”

“Don’t think you can threaten me with Mammon, because that won’t work” he spat.

“Sure it won’t. But what about your twin?” You asked.

“You wouldn’t dare.”

“Try me” you respond, grabbing a fistful of Beelzebub’s hair, yanking him forward in the process. “What’s wrong, weren't you so eager to make a pact with me a few minutes ago?”

“Fine I’ll make a pact with you just let go of Beel.” Belphie yelled, slightly panicked.

And again the next pact was made.

Admiring your arms you saw the new pacts glow on your body and looked up at the seven demons now kneeling.

“You may have experienced the wrath and pain of your Mc, but you’ve never experienced mine.” You started.

The anger and frustration you had been building up had finally reached its breaking point, and your willpower wasn’t strong enough to hold it back this time.

“If you continue like this you’ll be the only one hurt in the end”

That phrase played in your head again.

Maybe it was time to actually stop being such a pushover and actually realize you’re more than a therapist for these demons, along with your own.

As you looked down at each of them they stayed silent. However your next words shook them to their core.

“Have you ever felt the true wrath of a human?”
