Tumblr media Tumblr media
Loki had no idea how to tell you that he was your soulmate. It didn’t take long for him to figure it out once you showed up at the tower, but at first he just ignored it. He thought that soulmates were stupid, anyways, so he just didn’t say anything about it.
However, as he got to know you a bit better, he wasn’t as opposed to the idea of you being his soulmate. You were intelligent, beautiful, and best of all, not afraid of him. But while he was fine with it, he doubted that you would be. You might be friends with him, but surely you would be opposed to being more than that.
So he didn’t tell you. He wore long sleeves to cover up the little flowers, hearts, and spirals that you drew on yourself to conceal the fact he was your soulmate.
It was hard to conceal, especially on summer days, because you were always drawing on your arms. Ever the artist, which he admired about you. He could have used magic to conceal it, but to keep up a near-permanent spell altering his appearance would have been taxing. He still was not entirely sure how he normally appeared Asgardian instead of Jotun. Odin never told him. Plus, the little drawings made him happy.
While he didn’t acknowledge the fact you and him were soulmates, he still flirted with you. It was a harmless way to express affection in a way that might not tip you off. He was known to be flirtatious, so he could get things off his chest without you questioning it.
You would walk through the kitchen, in your workout clothes, sweaty from jogging or training. He would make a point to look you up and down, smirking. “You look delectable today, darling.”
He would send you a wink, and you would roll your eyes while you grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and flipped him off on your way out.
Harmless fun was Loki’s outlet, but little did he know how it affected you. While you didn’t know that you and Loki were soulmates, you still harbored a massive crush on him. But his flirting came across as just playful banter between friends, which hurt you.
You were sure that if you mentioned your feelings to him, he would laugh at you. So, like him, you would lose yourself in flirtations.
Back and forth the two of you went, completely ignorant to the other’s pining. Innuendos, pranks, and flirtations built up tension so thick that you would need a star-forged sword to cut through it.
Everyone else in the tower noticed it, too. They just rolled their eyes and walked away when they walked in on you being lightly pinned to the fridge by Loki. The only people who didn’t notice the clear yearning were you and Loki.
The flirting was a regular routine. He would corner you against a wall, whispering something in your ear. You would act just a bit more sensually as you did workouts when he was around. He would flirt with other women to get you roused up. You would wear more revealing clothes to catch more attention from others, making him jealous.
Finally, one day, he got the courage to tell you about it. He set up a nice candlelight dinner and asked you to join him on the roof. When you did, you felt severely underdressed. You were in an everyday outfit, while Loki was wearing a suit.
Your face went a little red. “Oh, I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to dress up.” You said, eyes trailing to the table beside him that was lit with candles.
Loki looked you up and down, getting nervous. “You weren’t.” He said, softly. “You look perfect as is.”
Something about his ‘flirting’ was clearly off today. It felt much more real to you, which put you on edge. Loki walked up to you, taking your hand, and seating you at the table. “So, uh, did you want to talk about something?” You asked, and he nodded.
“Yes, how about we eat first?” He gestured to the food laid out before you, lots of your favorites, and you agreed. It was paired with fine wine, which was greatly appreciated.
He had it all planned out. As usual, there were doodles on his arms, pictures that you had drawn on your own flesh. After you both finished eating, he took a deep breath, and took his suit coat off. Your eyes immediately recognized the drawings on his arms, and your breath hitched.
Was this some kind of cruel joke? You rolled up your sleeve, putting your arm up to his in comparison. Each doodle was there on his arm, exactly as you had drawn it on your’s.
“Loki, if this is some kind of joke…” You said, trying your best not to cry. Loki took your hand up in his, planting a gentle kiss.
His eyes poured into yours. “I assure you that it is not. I have known for a while, but I was scared of rejection, and didn’t know how to tell you. If you don’t wish to have me as your soulmate, though, I understand and I will-”
You laughed. The sound startled him, and he could see relief in your face. “If I don’t wish to have you? Loki, I’ve been in love with you for like ever! If anything, I was worried you wouldn’t like me.”
With this new information, Loki widened his eyes. Had he really been that blind? He brushed that away for now, tucking a loose strand of your hair behind your ear. “Darling, you are the most beautiful and exquisite creature to ever exist. No one could compare to your charm, and you have managed to help mend my broken heart.”
A single, happy, tear slipped down his cheek. “With you, I feel complete. I feel whole. I never believed in soulmates, but after meeting you, I do. I couldn’t imagine a life without you.”
You sat there for a moment, utterly stunned. When you collected your wits, you grabbed him by his shirt collar and pulled him in for a kiss. It was slow and sweet, but rapidly became more heated. You accidentally knocked your wine glass over, and it spilled all over you.
You broke away from the kiss, the cold wine dripping down your shirt and onto your chest. Loki smirked. “Well then, we should get back inside and get you changed. We wouldn’t want you to catch a cold now, would we?”
The both of you abandoned the table and took the elevator down to your room. During the short ride down, Loki couldn’t keep his hands off of you, trailing kisses down your neck. “Oh, darling, you have no idea how long I have fantasized about this for…”
You were sure he was leaving marks, but you couldn’t care less. As soon as the elevator opened, Loki picked you up and you wrapped your legs around him, letting him carry you to your room. Luckily, you made it there without interruption, and Loki stumbled into your room, setting you down on the bed.
He locked the door, facing you and your dripping-wet shirt. “Now, let’s get rid of that shirt, shall we?”

Chapter Two
Tumblr media
Chapter One
The High Council of Asgard – decades before Loki's reign
"It is decided then?" Asked the Allfather his ally and good friend - King Laufey of Jotunheim, who sat across the golden table in the council room. The Frost Giant nodded, lifting his goblet of mead as a sign for his approval. "It is decided. As soon as I am back home, I am going to set everything into motion and send you my son as soon as possible." Odin lifted his goblet as well and gave the Jotun king a nod. "Here's to our alliance." "Here's to our alliance."
Tumblr media
"Skane, go get my son. I need to talk to him." Laufey told his advisor as soon as he walked through the big, heavy doors of the palace. "Yes, your majesty." Skane bowed to him and left his side immediately, in order to execute his king's order.
The prince wasn't very difficult to find these days. He'd be either in his chambers, the library or the training grounds. Today, Skane found the prince in the library, nose buried in a book. "My prince? Apologies for the disturbance, but your father is back and he wishes to see you immediately." With a slightly annoyed huff, the young prince closed his book. When his father called for him, it was wise to not let him wait. It was a lesson he had learned quite fast and early in his life. So, the heir to the throne followed his father's advisor without complaining. "Do you know what he wishes to talk about with me?" Skane shook his head. "Unfortunately not, my prince, no." The two men made the rest of the way to the throne room in silence. The heavy stone doors swung open with a thud, revealing King Laufey, who was seated upon his throne. "Father! You're back! I hope you had a pleasant return trip. How did the council meetings go?" The prince asked in a rather cheerful voice, knowing that the king likes to be welcomed back duly. "Just fine, son. We need to talk." Laufey said, standing up. "Let's go for a walk, shall we?" Loki took a small bow. "As you wish father."
King and prince went on a walk through the barren and bleak royal gardens then. Not a single flower was blooming in the beds. Well, Jotunheim had just gone through a very rough and cold winter. But spring was definitely approaching. The small buds on the trees were the proof. Soon, the cold realm would shine in all its magical glory. "What were you up to when I was away, son?" The prince shrugged his shoulders. "Oh, you know father... The usual. Reading, training, a bit of hunting..." Loki didn't dare to mention, that he plagued the one or other royal staff member with his pranks. He was a grown man, but sometimes he liked to act like a younger version of himself. Praying to the Norns his father wouldn't get whiff of it. "Sounds auspicious." Loki gave his father a nod, before asking again: "What is it you want to talk about?" Laufey took a breath. "The Allfather asked me for a favour..." His father's words caused Loki's expression to darken. He suddenly had a very bad feeling – and a guess. "Father, is this once again about me getting married? If so, I told you that I do not wish to get married now. I don't want to-" "It is not." Laufey interrupted his son's rant. "Even if I'd be more than just pleased, when you'd finally find a woman. It is long overdue. When I was your age, your mother was already pregnant with you. Our people are expecting this. They wish to see their future king finding his queen and provide an heir to the throne." The young prince rolled secretly his eyes, hearing this for the thousandth time. Oh how often he had this conversation with his father already. How often did they end up in a fight because of this… So, Loki tried to swallow his anger and pride. "I know, father, I know. I will get to it, I promise. I'm going to give the people what they want. Just not now." Laufey sighed, knowing that he had lost - like so often. What more could he do than telling his son over and over again?
"What is the favour the Allfather asked you to do then?" "Well… Strictly speaking, he is asking you." The raven-haired Jotun stopped in his tracks, quite surprised. "Me??" The king stopped in his movements as well, facing his son. "Yes. He needs a good warrior to train meticulously chosen Æsir. Someone who can turn them into soldiers within a month." Loki frowned. "What of prince Thor? He is a great warrior." "The crown prince is detained; currently stuck on Muspelheim for royal duties. If prince Thor's conversations with Surtur are not fruitful..." Loki quickly connected the dots. "Odin wants to be prepared." Laufey nodded. "Exactly." "But... Why me? There are great warriors on Asgard." The king placed a hand on his son's shoulder. "Because he wants the best."
That was how Loki, son of Laufey, crown prince of Jotunheim landed on Asgard a mere week later - ready and prepared to train a handful of amateurs. Men, who didn't even yield a weapon before. But the Allfather didn't ask Loki for nothing. If someone could handle this, it was him. Odin and Laufey were sure of it.
Tumblr media
"A royal… warrior academy?" You asked your father, who sat across from you on the dining table. "Yes, my dear. In case your brother's attempts of negotiation fail, we have to be prepared - and given the fact that we don't have enough warriors, we need to train more men." "Why only men, father? What if there are women who'd like to become a warriors as well?" You spoke in a demanding voice, crossing your arms. "Because only men become warriors. You, of all, should know that, daughter." "What of Sif? Isn't she a warrior, too?" "Sif is an exception. The only exception." You felt how the anger started to rise within you. "What if I wanted to become a warrior, instead of a princess?" Your father scoffed, already hating where this conversation was going. "I am not discussing this with you again, Y/N. We've talked about this. Several times. I won't allow my only daughter to spend her days on the training grounds. You have other duties to tend to! Find a husband for example!" You looked away, gritting your teeth. You hated it. Just because you were a woman and highly interested in learning how to fight properly, didn't mean you'd neglect your duties as a princess. And yes. Sometimes you rather wished to be warrior and not a princess. But who were you to choose? You had no other choice than to accept the place you were in - like your father so often told you. But what if... An idea suddenly crossed your mind. Hiding the smile on your face, you told your father what he wanted to hear. "I beg you pardon, father. You are right, of course."
"You are planning to do what?!" Estrid - your personal maid turned best friend asked with wide, frightened eyes. The young woman shook her head. "Y-Your highness, that is... foolish and risky a-and-" You grabbed the girl's shaking shoulders, causing her eyes to fixate on you. "I know, Estrid, I know. But I have to do it. It's probably the only chance I will ever get in my whole life. Father is never going to let me on the training grounds and I can't always sneak into the old armoury to train. It's my dream, Estrid." Your friend sighed, again shaking her head. "I know, Y/N, but it's dangerous." You nodded. "It is. That's why I need you to maintain my cover. Can you do that for me? Please?" She swallowed, thoughts running at lightning speed through her brain. "I know I ask a lot from you, but please. You are my best friend. I trust you." A moment of silence passed, before Estrid started to nod, giving in. "Alright. Alright... I'll do it." A relieved breath left your lips. "Oh thank the Norns!" You lunged forward then, hugging the blonde-haired woman. "Thank you so much." Estrid offered you a nervous smile, nodding. "Don't worry. We are going to make this." Again a nod. "Do you even know who is going to lead the training?" You swallowed hard. "Yes. Prince Loki of Jotunheim." Once again the maid's eyes widened. "Prince Loki of Jotunheim? I heard he is a very cold, harsh man... And his father is a very good friend of the king. Y/N, this is really risky. You can only hope that he won't look through your charade... If he does, you are in big trouble..." "He won't, Estrid. He won't." "I hope so..." The woman stated, taking a short break before continuing. "Have you ever met prince Loki?" "Personally? No. I have seen him once, but that was ages ago. Thor sees him way more often, given the fact that he's the future king. Plus, they are kind of friends, so..." A cheeky smile darted over Estrid's face at your words. "He may be a cold and brutal Frost Giant, but I also heard that he is a very handsome man and an even greater lover. Hopefully you won't get distracted on your mission." You scoffed, shaking your head appalled. "Certainly not, Estrid. No man or prince will be able to distract me. Don't you worry."
Little did you know, that you were going to eat your words just a few days later...
"How do I look?" You asked Estrid as you stood in front of the full-length mirror in your chambers, eying your good work. The young maid stood beside you, mouth formed to a perfect 'o'. "You look... amazing, your highness..." She was visibly and audibly stunned. You were surprised, too. You didn't know that you were able to turn your appearance into a man that easily. You wore a traditional Asgardian tunic - male tunic. One that hid the curves which indicated you were a woman. You had cut your own hair quite a bit, turning it into a man bun. All your female features were mostly gone. It was breath-taking. "Yes, I do. It's almost terrifying." "Now you need to just work on a deeper voice and a more manly walk." You turned to meet Estrid. "By the Norns, you're right! I-I mean..." You cleared your throat and tried to lower your voice as deep as possible. "By the Norns, you're right!" Estrid broke out in giggles. "Not good?" "No, no, no, I mean... It's good, Y/N! It's perfect. All you have to do is work on your walk, but the rest... If you can keep that up, no one's going to notice it." "Let's hope then I can keep it up." Estrid nodded. "And now let's go. Unless you'll be late." You grabbed your things and sneaked with your friend through the secret passageway only you, Thor, Estrid and the Warriors Three knew of, out of the palace. "You know what to do?" "I know what to do. Don't worry, my princess." With a last goodbye and a hug, you swung yourself onto your horse (which Estrid had kindly prepared for you earlier) and rode off. Your parents thought you went on a 'learning journey' through Asgard, getting to know different plants and animals... Advanced training, so to speak. Estrid had the task to maintain the cover for you.
The training camp was on the outskirts of the city. It was about an hour ride away from the palace. You had managed to sneak into your father's office and write a fake name on the list, so you'd be surely awaited. And indeed... Two guards were standing in front of the big wooden doors. The piece of land was fenced by high, thick walls. You took a deep breath, as you neared the doors. This was your dream, wasn't it? All you ever wished for. Why were you so nervous now? Your horse came to an halt in front of the guards and you dismounted the horse, before you took a small bow to the guards. "I'm here for the royal training, in order to serve the king and Asgard." You spoke in your deepest voice possibly, hoping that the guards would buy it. They did. "Name?" One of them asked, eyes fixated on a list. "Váli Ákison." The guard's eyes roamed over the list, before he nodded. "Open the door." The door got opened for you, causing you to swing back onto your horse and ride inside the camp. Your eyes widened at the sight before you. There we a lot of beautifully crafted tents, alongside a big fireplace. Men were bustling around everywhere. Some of them in tunics like you. Some of them already dressed in traditional Asgardian armour and a few of them, which you recognised as palace guards. Excitement spread through your whole body.
After you were handed your armour and assigned a tent, you retreated into said tent to change. You were ready. More than ready for this.

Could you do 32 and 55, maybe angst but with a fluff ending?
#32: "Can I sleep here, just for tonight."
#55: "When are you planning on going back to sleep in your bed?"
You know I had to make a part 3 to the Jotunheim Saga ^^
Tumblr media
His head was pounding as he made himself ready for bed. He had clenched his jaw all day long as he tried to reason with the Jotuns. Earning their respect would take much longer and much more patience than he had anticipated.
All he wanted to do now was to lay down in his comfortable bed and forget about the arguments he had with the stubborn council.
Loki walked into his room only to find you already sitting on his bed, reading one of his books like it was the most normal thing.
He studied you for a moment but when you didn't react he slipped under the cover with a growl.
"When are you planning on going back to sleep in your bed?" Loki asked as his gaze was fixed on the ceiling.
"What do you mean?" you asked bewildered by his tone but didn't bother looking up from the book.
"It's been 2 weeks now... the storm has passed long ago," Loki grumbled.
"So?" Loki turned his icy gaze to you.
"So? I still can remember the first night when you said 'Can I sleep here, just for tonight.'" Loki mimicked your voice.
"And I can remind you of that one night I wasn't going to bed with you and you barged into my room to get me." you defended yourself, not sure if he was joking. Where had all this anger come from all of a sudden?
"It was still storming then, you'd have come anyway. I just didn't want you to disturb my sleep again." he sneered.
"Sure." you chuckled, "As if you didn't actually enjoy our sleepovers."
"It just would be nice to have a bed to myself again."
"You could've just told me and I would've-"
"I told you from the start that I didn't want you here!" he snapped, raising his voice at you.
"Oh. Ok." you shut the book softly, laying it beside you on the bed. You gathered your belongings that had found their way into Lokis chamber over the weeks. Loki watched you silently, already regretting his outburst.
"Good night, Loki. I hope you have a restful sleep." you wished him dryly.
"Y/N..." he lowly huffed.
"No, it's ok. I will leave tomorrow if that's better for you."
"I didn't-" Loki's words halted. You nodded sadly and left his room.
---
You hadn't settled down in bed for long, your candle beside your bed still lit, when a soft knock echoed through your bedroom.
"Come in." you sat back up against the headboard. Loki slowly shuffled into your room, his head hung low.
"I'm sorry." he mumbled as he stepped closer, "I didn't mean to yell at you. Today has been difficult and instead of talking about it, I let it out on you like an immature child... it's no excuse but I'm so sorry."
"It's already forgiven and forgotten." you waved him off, "But thank you for your apology. I know it has to be quite stressful for you at the moment so I understand that you need time for yourself, to process everything. I will call Thor first thing in the morning and then you're free of me."
"No! Don't go." Loki surprised you with his appeal, "Will you stay, please? You make my stay here so much more bearable. Now I have at least someone who accepts me and listens to me."
"If you really want that and I won't annoy you, of course."
"Thank you." Loki sighed relieved and let himself fall on your bed to hug you in an awkward sitting position.
"Y/N..." he suddenly mumbled right next to your ear.
"Yeah?"
"...could I sleep here... just for tonight?" you pulled back from your hug with wide eyes as you eyed him in disbelief.
"No way, Laufeyson! Don't tell me you can't sleep without me by your side anymore!" you gasped amused.
"It's your fault!" he grumbled in a huff.
"Come here you big softy!" you grinned like a cheshire cat, making some room for him in your bed.
"I'm not soft!" he protested.
"Of course not." you giggled, pulling him down onto your bed while hugging him, "You're the meanest, scariest bub in the universe."
"I am," he mumbled pleased, a smug smile resting on his lips as he made himself comfortable under the blanket.

Build me Up, Break me Down (Loki x Female Reader)
Read chapter 34 here// Series Masterlist
Chapter 35
Summary : Loki shows you his Jotun form.
Warning : Talk of immortality and death, 18+ Smut, filth, God kink, Creative liberty with Jotun Loki (It's my Loki so you can imagine him how you want)
Tumblr media
You got up on the bed hurriedly and sat on your knees
"Wait ..what?" You looked at him confused and he sat up too
"I went there to ask her to take my immortality so I..you know..I would live with you and die with you" your eyes teared up as you shook your head
"That's .that's ..I'm very honored, is honored a feeling? I don't know.. but you can't do that loki" he tilted his head
"I can not, you are right, I'm not an Asgardian, I never received the immortality through a gift, it was by birth, but I feel that if it was possible for me to lose it and turn mortal, you wouldn't want me to do that why?" your eyes teared up more as he said that
"Why would I want you to reduce your lifespan? You can live for thousands of years and you want to give it up for me…noo just no..I'm not worth it" you tried to get off the bed but he grabbed you and pulled you into him before you can run away and berate yourself
"Now what have we talked about self deprecating behaviour, hmm?" He tucked your hair behind your ears as he spoke, when you looked up at him his own eyes were teary
"I'm sorry, I just.. I can't let you die so soon when you were born to live for so long, there must be a reason for that"
He kissed your forehead then he hugged you tightly
"Have you ever stopped and thought about us darling? Why did we meet?"
You nodded your head
"Because I was meant to be saved by you" he shook his head as you said that
"No ..there was no reason why we met or got closer to each other, we lived all our lives separately, so far away from each other, two realms apart, there is no sense to as to why and how we collided and got in each other's path, but we did, and there must be a reason for that. You told me that you can't do this without me? I can't do this without you either"
You kissed his forehead right after he finished his sentence, you know he doesn't want to be alone but who's to say he would be? Maybe he'll find someone, if there was an option for you to live longer, you'd take it without hesitation.
"I wish that I wasn't a mortal loki, I wish that we could have lived together for thousands of years but we can't" he sighed in response,
"We can't but if there's a way I can live with you and die with you then I'm going to take that choice, you can't stop me"
"What if you fall out of love with me after a few years?" He sighed at the question, his eyes held a look of disbelief, he couldn't even think about it
"Fall out of love? What are you? Bifrost? I'm not going to fall out of love with the woman I'm ready to die with and for"
"Don't say things like that loki ..I can't, I feel unworthy, you're a God, a magical being, and I'm just me"
he clutched his fingers in your hair and pulled your head back
"One more negative word about my goddess and I will punish that bratty mouth of yours"
He wiped your tears and kissed you softly
He met someone when he went to Jotunheim, someone who sparked his curiosity. He didn't have much time to have a proper discussion with her but he intended to go there again soon and find some answers.
"I am sorry Loki, I love you baby and I understand your fear, I almost lost you today and it was the worst feeling in the world, nothing would compare to the emptiness I felt in that moment but let's just relax for sometimes okay?" You asked him and he nodded. You laid him down, he was still healing and you didn't want to agitate him further.
"I love you more than anything princess, never forget"
"I love you Loki"
You took a nap with him and as much as he wanted to sleep he couldn't, patience has never been his strong suit, once he had set his mind on something he wanted to find it and get it as soon as possible.
After a few hours, he perched himself on his elbow, placing his head in his palm as he watched you sleep. You always made the cutest sleeping humming noises whenever he moved away from you, you'd clutch onto him and try to pull him closer. A smile crept on his face as he watched you furrowing your brow and humming to feel him closer to you so he used his other hand and placed it behind your head as his thumb brushed against your cheek, the humming stopped almost immediately.
How did you expect him to go on without you? How could you even think that he wouldn't miss this big ball of fluff sleeping next to him wearing the pajama with the most ridiculous print he has ever seen in his life. He dreads the moment you will die and he'll come back to an empty bed, an empty house, a house that will never hear the echo of your voice, a bed that will never be used to make love on again, He'll lose you in pieces and die slowly with you, your essence will fade, your memories will get colder, he'd start to forget the way you taste, the way you smell, the way you look first thing in the morning, how could you expect him to die slowly instead of choosing to go with you?
He knew that if heaven did exist his precious girl would make it and he wanted to follow you there. Follow you as soon as he could, he won't be able to go thousands of years without you.
You could feel him staring so you opened your eyes slowly and there he was, just smiling at you.
"You're supposed to sleep and heal" you snuggled into him, and he let his head down on the bed as he felt your warmth,
"I'm all healed darling, want to go out with me? A date of sorts?" You looked at him and nodded
After much needed nudging you got up to get ready, he gave you a dress that you recognised from the y/n almirah
He put on a black suit with a white shirt underneath, he left the few top buttons unopened and all you wanted to do was hug him tightly and stay there. You couldn't focus on anything but how hot he looked, you found yourself distracted with his thoughts. There was no denying that you enjoyed the date and felt pampered, more than you have ever felt in your life. But you needed him, you needed his body on top of you. Close. Intimate.
While he drove you, you turned towards him and soon your hands wandered, you rubbed your palm against his bulge and watched his breath hitch. Safe to say he didn't take it lightly, as soon as you both were in the apartment he had you in his arms as you kissed him feverishly. Two days is alot for him to be away from you like that, he craved you physically and emotionally.
"Loki fuck I have been thinking about this all evening" you bit on your lips as he sat you down on the bed
"I could read your thoughts you naughty little minx" the deep gravel of his voice turned you on further
"I know you could I felt you in there my god" you got on your knees on the bed and took his coat off, then you unbuttoned his pants hurriedly and he moaned as you cupped his bulge over his briefs
"Norns darling I .. I want to show you something" he mumbled between the kisses
"Mmm yeah show me, show me everything my god, enlighten me"
"Fuck I love you so much" he whispered and kissed you again then he pulled you away from him. Was he going to turn into his Jotun form? Excitement filled you when his eyes met with you, you didn't know what to expect, you had no idea how they were supposed to look, but you knew they were blue.
"I uhh maybe I shouldn't" he mumbled as he ran his hand through his hair
"Lokiii it's okay you can take your time" you grabbed his hands on yours and kissed on his fingertips one by one, his eyes teared up, you would love him the same, he knew that then why was he so scared?
"I want to..I really do .I'm just ..it's a lot different than this" he pointed towards his face and your eyes teared up too, not that you didn't love that beautiful face, why won't you? But that's not why you were in love with him
"Lokii"
"Princess..it's just I'm not like this, I'm blue and rough, bald, I have no hair anywhere actually, we don't need it on Jotunheim" you tilted your head
"You have accepted me just the way I am"
"You're an angel darling, it's not really that hard to love an angel" your cheeks flushed but it wasn't about you in the moment
"And you're my god, my protector, I do not consider you one because you're an actual god, i do it because that's how I see you, that's who you are to me and nothing is going to change who you are" his eyes teared up more and he grabbed your cheeks to kiss you passionately before he took a step away
"Okay umm so I'm ..just going to do that..okay"
You smiled as you looked at him, he was adorable when he got nervous which was rare for him.
You watched him morph into his Jotun form slowly and your eyes widened, he was blue,so blue, he has ridges all around his skin, there was no hair on his body like he said, once you were able to take your eyes off his erect nether region, you looked at his face. He looked different but not very much so, his eyes were glowing blood red, his head had those ridges too but thicker, his nose looked sharper and his lips were dark blue, almost black. He was a sight to behold and you couldn't take your eyes off him, why would he deprive you of this beauty?
You Crawled towards the edge of the bed and you grabbed his hand in yours, his skin was rougher than usual like he said but it was smooth at the same time, no blemishes, except those intricate beautifully crafted marks, his nails were black and it made you smile.
When you looked up at him his eyes seemed teary, so you cupped his cheeks and he was so cold, so so cold.
"You have no idea how beautiful you are Loki" his eyes welled up more as you rubbed your fingers on the lines over his face. Closing his eyes as he sighed in contentment from the caressing touch
"I am?" He asked you in the saddest voice you have heard from him, the first time he looked at himself in the mirror as a frost giant he was appalled, now he looked back at the moment and realised how cruel he was to his own kind.
"So beautiful, so majestic, I can't stop looking at you lo, I wish I had more words to describe how I feel but .." before you could finish he cupped your cheeks and placed his lips on yours, he was so cold, like ice cold but it didn't bother you, you actually enjoyed it, you could do this forever.
Your arms flung around his neck as he kissed down from your lips to your chin, your jaw and then finally his cold lips sucked a mark on your neck
"You're so soft darling and I'm so rough, you feel so warm and so small in my arms"
You bit on your lips as you pulled away, your fingers trailed over the ridges on his chest and he shuddered
"Am I hitting a sweet nerve?" you rubbed your index finger over the lines and he moaned
"It's sensitive yesss..oh darling" he moaned as you grabbed his cock in your fist and for the love of God you felt yourself dripping with the thought of having that ribbed fleshy hard cock inside you. You stroked him slowly and he took your dress off, he wanted you to be as bare as he was, his fingers rubbed over your wet slit, so so cold and you loved the sensation it gave you
"I have never fornicated in this form before" your eyes widened as he said that
"I'm going to be your first?" You giggled and he smiled "I'm taking your frost virginity" you found it really amusing and he found your amusement very adorable.
A part of him still felt terrified that you'd reject him but the smile on your face, your eager fist pumping him ever so slowly, the way you couldn't stop kissing his skin made him realize that it was all in his head, you loved him. You'd never stop loving him for being himself.
He laid you down on the bed, and pinned your hands over your head as he humped against you slowly, the sweet moans felt like music to his ears, he was so enthralled by you and at times he felt overwhelmed with the intensity of his feelings towards you especially in his natural state.
The feral beast inside him wanted to let go, that animal wanted to mate with you and knot you to him forever, impregnate you so you'd be swell with his little pups, he wanted to ruin you and the way your body looked, turn it bigger and softer, more plump then you already were for him, his thoughts were filthy, so depraved. But he couldn't not do that to you, not just yet, he had to be gentle, careful, sensitive, that's his precious princess, the one who has been through hell and back, he wanted to soak you in soft gentle love making.
"God please god, fill me up, I can't..I need you to fill me" you just wanted him to fill one of your holes, you didn't care which one, you just wanted him inside you.
"I know you do little one, I know you do" he pressed the tip of his swollen cock inside you and you gasped, he let go of your hands and situated himself on his hands as he pushed in deeper, until he couldn't push anymore, until he was all snugged around your warmth. You grabbed his head and he moaned as your fingers rubbed his scalp.
"Goshhh you are so cold loki, and I love that so much" he smiled and pulled his cock out then he gently thrusted in again, his rhythm was slow, he wanted to devour you, being inside his mortal in this form felt so different, he was so sensitive and so responsive. He has never been touched like this before and he couldn't have been more grateful that he chose you to bare himself like this.
"Your quim was made for me darling, look at you, you take me so well sweetheart, a perfect little cunt for her god"
"Mmm yess yess my god" your eyes teared up as your orgasm approached you and he was nowhere near done with you, digging your nails in his shoulders you cried out his name as you came around him, he watched you shuddering beneath him, watching you amidst the height of pleasure has to be one of his favorite sight.
He pulled himself out and and allowed you to breathe for a few seconds then he turned you on your side, pulled your left leg up holding it in place with one hand and thrusted inside your wet soaking cunt again.
"Oh loki take me yes, fuck me, fill me up with your cum"
He let out a noise that was a mix between a chuckle and a snicker, increasing his pace he kept going until he was closer to his own orgasm
"Tell me that you want my cum Inside you little one" he whispered in your ear
"I want your cum dear god, I need to feel it inside me please, bless me with your seed" you whined in desperation, your noises drove him insane, he kissed your temple then brought his lips over your ears
"Mmhm I'm never letting you go after this again, you're mine darling, you belong to me and you have me as yours, I'm yours forever and I'll never choose another mate" your eyes teared up so you cupped his cheeks and kissed him, he moaned into your mouth as he let go, it felt like heaven, everything felt like heaven and you knew that feeling because you knew what it was like to suffer through hell.
He was panting and losing his breath but he didn't sweat, not a drop, it didn't take him long to recover, he cleaned you up and as hard as it was for him to stay in this form for long in this climate he wanted to do it so you could enjoy it some more.
"So you can make ice and stuff?" You asked him and he chuckled. You both were laying side to side, you were admiring his beauty and he was just admiring you.
He waved his finger and made a rose out of clear ice, you couldn't believe how pretty it looked
"For you my lady" you giggled as you took it from him and admired it
"You're so magical in every way, I love you so much"
"I love you too my darling" he picked up the snow flower and trailed it down from your neck to your sternum, making you giggle but then you gasped and moaned as he rubbed it against your swollen lips.
Let's just say that didn't end there and he showed you how he can please you in several new ways by using his frost talents. You got blessed by a god the day you met him and his name was Loki.
…..
"Can I come with you to Jotunheim?" You asked him while you fixed his armor. It's been two weeks since that night and as much as he enjoyed living carefree in this bliss, he was also losing time with you and he had to find a way.
"My love it's pronounced as yo-tunheim and noo you'll freeze out there" you looked at him confused, and he pecked on your puckered lips
"Then why is Jotun not yotun?" He raised his eyebrows,
"That's what it is princess"
"Ohhh" he squeezed you in a bear hug, he couldn't help it.
"I'll be back by tonight I promise, you are going to see Lady Charlotte and My brother today?" You nodded and he kissed your forehead
He told you that he was going to Jotunheim for political matters but that wasn't the truth.
He was going to see that woman that peaked his interest on his last trip. A woman that didn't look like a Frost Giant
Andrea, her name was Andrea and he had a feeling that she was a mortal or used to be.
And his suspicions were proven right.

👀 A fic you love a normal amount
There are two MCU AUs in particular that live in my head rent-free, and it's pretty much impossible to choose between them:
Cages -- Canon divergence, but divergent on a historical scale. I think I would call this dystopian. Loki is still taken from Jotunheim as a baby, but the Asgardian propaganda line in this universe is that Jotuns are literally animals, and so Loki is raised in a zoo, as a trophy and scientific curiosity. It's objectively really fucking dark, but it's not told as an outright horror story, but with this calm, sinister sense of total normalisation. I think it does a good job of treating Loki as a character with a lot of dignity, despite his nightmarish situation, and the psychology is really really interesting. This fic fucking haunts me.
Fremvandrerne -- A time travel AU, in which Loki is a real-world Norseman trapped in the 21st century. This story plays with identity and belonging in really interesting ways, and it has this fantastic feeling of like... unresolvable longing. I'm not sure how to put into words what captured me here, but it's about like... the stories we tell ourselves? Real life becoming myth, and myth becoming real. IDK just read it it turned my brain inside out.
💌 A fic that inspired you to create something for it
Hmmm. This is hard. I don't have anything in the MCU fandom, where I've toyed with making things but never committed... But if we turn back time to 2020 and the Carry On fandom, there's Hold Back the Tide, a pirate/Age of Sail AU.
This story is hard to summarise, especially if you don't know the original book (which I believe you don't?), but it centres on childhood rivals who grow up to be deadly enemies and are in love, and it involves dances, mutinies, class tensions, chronic illness, suicide ideation, terrible parents, grief, repressed homosexuality, and sea monsters. It's genuinely one of the best things I ever read in that fandom, tragically overlooked because it's on long-term hiatus. I was absolutely obsessed with this story for like eight months or more, and eventually I wrote an angsty prequel oneshot. I doubt what I wrote would hold up to my standards today, but it was really fun.

Y/N : "So... Is Loki coming to your party tonight ?"
Thor : "Oh. No. I told him not to."
Y/N : "Why ?"
Thor : "Because you are here, and I want you to have fun little friend, and since the big guy is scaring you, I asked him to not come."
Y/N : "... Scaring me ?"
Thor : "Yup ! Everything he's around, you are weird, you can't talk, you hide, you are shaking, staring at him or avoiding his gaze. You run away when he’s messing with you. I know you asked a lot of questions about him. I promise you Loki is a nice man, but I understand why you are afraid by him."
Y/N : "... Please tell me you didn't tell him that."
Thor : "He was not mad. He knows little people like you are easily startled."
Y/N : "... He thinks I don't like him ?! That I judged him on his appearance ?! He'll never love me now !"
Thor : "... What ? Love ? Wha... Oh. Oh damn. It was not fear, okay. I’ll tell him, come back ! He’ll find the misunderstand funny !"
Y/N : “Leave me alone ! And don’t tell him !”
Thor : “Too late, I sent him a text ! He’s glad you are crushing on him, says it’s cute ! He likes your little body too ! He’s coming tonight to prove it !”
Y/N : "No ! Thor, you are the worst ! ”

Chapter 1
Beginnings
The Avengers tower was bustling with people, the noise was incredibly overwhelming to the young woman that had just entered the lobby. She cautiously approached the front desk, nervously tapping her fingers against the desk while she waited for the secretary to finish her call.
“Sorry for the wait, some people just don’t know how to shut up,” The older woman chuckled before looking up, “How can I help you today?”
“Hi, um, my name is Y/N Y/L/N and I have an appointment to meet with Ms Pepper Potts.”
“Ah! You must be Mr Stark’s new assistant! Ms Potts has been waiting for you to arrive, apparently he’s run-off every one that he’s got and Ms Potts has been getting very aggravated about it. You’re a bit early but I’ll send you up anyway, here’s your security keycard and welcome packet. Just head to the elevators and go up to the 90th floor, I’ll be sure to let Ms Potts know that you’ve arrived.” She handed over a large manilla folder and a small card, pointing out the elevators to Y/N.
“Thank you so much,” Y/N began to walk away when she heard the secretary call out ‘Good luck!’.
She quickly made her way to the elevators and jumped in right before the doors shut. She breathed out a sigh of relief, steeling herself for meeting her new boss.
“First day?” Y/N jumped slightly at the deep voice that appeared next to her.
“Oh my word! I’m so sorry, I thought I was alone!” She turned and faced Captain America who was smiling down at her.
“It’s no problem, doll, I’ve been told that I’m rather sneaky.” Y/N smiled.
“Yes, it’s my first day here, Ms Potts hired me to be Mr Stark’s assistant, she didn’t even ask for an interview, she just hired me on the spot. I guess that says something about how desperate she is.”
“Tony does seem to get rid of people pretty fast but I’m sure you’ll do fine Ms…”
“Oh gosh, I’m Y/N Y/L/N, it’s a pleasure to meet you Mr Rogers!” She stuck her hand out and it was immediately engulfed by Steve’s larger one, Y/N’s face heated up at the difference between them.
“Call me Steve please, I feel so old when people call me Mr Rogers.” The elevator dinged and Steve stepped out, “Good luck with Tony, come find me if he’s too mean, I’ll teach him a lesson.” He smiled brightly at her and the doors shut again.
As she began moving up again, Y/N felt better about the whole thing, hopefully everyone would be as nice as Steve had been.
When the doors opened again, she was faced with more marble than she had ever seen in her life, it lined both the walls and floor, leading to a giant office that overlooked the city and bay. Her heels clicked loudly as she approached the glass doors. Y/N reached out and knocked gently as she straightened out her blouse and skirt.
“Come in!” The voice called and Y/N swung the door open.
“Ms Y/L/N! Thank you for coming on such short notice. Please sit, I’ll need to go over some responsibilities with you and then I’ll introduce you to Tony.” Pepper stands and shakes her hand, gesturing to the chair in front of her desk. “I hope you have a high tolerance for bullshit cause Tony has a lot.” Y/N laughed and settled in.
“Finally, feel free to wear casual clothes, you’re probably going to be here until late at night so make sure you’re comfortable! Now will you be needing accommodation? We have a lot of open rooms in the tower and I’m sure we can move you in quickly.” Pepper leaned back in her chair, confident in her choice of assistant for her fiancé.
“Yes ma’am, I have a house that I inherited from my mother when she passed but it is too far out of town for a commute.”
“Good, we’ll get you set up temporarily tonight and you can go out this weekend to get any supplies you’ll need. Now let’s go find my infuriating fiancé so you can get started.” Y/N giggled and followed Pepper out of the room.
AC/DC blasted through the halls as the pair of women headed to the labs, Pepper sighed as she opened the glass doors and the music grew louder. “F.R.I.D.A.Y. please turn off the music.”
“Come on! Seriously! I was just getting into my groove!” A head of black hair popped up from behind a massive screen.
“Tony, you’ve been in here for at least 24 hours, if you weren’t in the zone 12 hours ago, you aren’t in the zone now.”
“Alright fine, what do you have for me today Ms Potts? Another zit faced teenager who’s obsessed with me? Blonde bimbo trying to get in my pants?” Tony glanced over at the pair. “Or what looks to be an incredibly attractive young woman.” His eyebrows were raised high on his forehead.
“This is Y/N Y/L/N, she’s going to be your new assistant, please try not to scare her off, she’s very sweet and intelligent.” Pepper shoved her forward slightly, making her stumble on the uncomfortable heels she forced herself to wear. She reached to shake his hand.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Mr Stark! My mom actually was a really big fan of yours before she died, I think half of my house is covered in Iron man memorabilia.” She chipped, her hand shaking slightly with nerves. Tony looked at her firmly for a moment before he smiled broadly.
“I like her already!”
🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
Tony’s schedule was all over the place, some days he slept until 3 in the afternoon and did nothing productive, others he worked for days at a time, constantly requesting coffee as his only form of sustenance. Y/N quickly got into the hang of being his assistant, making sure he ate and was actually early to the meetings he had to attend, for both Stark Industries and the Avengers but her social life had gone completely down the drain. In the five months she had been working for Tony, already that was three times longer than the longest assistant he’s had, she had met most of the Avengers and befriended all of them. Yet Tony’s odd hours and chaotic lifestyle kept her from getting close with anyone besides Steve who woke up early enough to encounter her most days.
“Good morning doll!” Steve entered the kitchen right as Y/N took a sip of her scorching hot coffee.
“Morning Rogers,” She muttered back.
“How long have you been up?” He reached around her, his hand grasping her thick waist to get to the cabinet behind her.
“Something like 39 hours, I lost track a while ago. Tony’s made some new discovery and of course I’m the only one he trusts to take notes, and handwritten mind you. That man has made at least five different A.I.s but no, he has to make sure that all of his notes are taken by hand and then transcribed at least three times. I swear I’ve aged at least 10 years while I’ve worked here.”
Steve laughed loudly, hand gripping her waist tighter as she leaned her head against his toned chest. “And here Tony is calling me the old man!” He paused suddenly, looking down at her. “Oh doll, you need some rest, how about you go back to bed and I’ll get him off your back for the day. You look like you’re dying.” He cupped her face, her eyes slightly swollen and red rimmed from exhaustion, her normally beautiful S/C skin was pale and lifeless. And her H/C hair was wild and unkempt. Her eyes shut with the warmth his hand gave her, she nuzzled closer to him, sighing loudly.
“Yeah I just might, I’m so tired. Pepper didn’t mention this in the job description.” Y/N giggled slightly. Steve was frowning as he looked down on her.
“You need to take care of yourself Y/N. Let me take you back to your room and when you get up, I’ll cook you a nice meal, one that my Ma used to make me.”
“I’d like that,” Her eyes were slightly glassy as she looked up at him.
“It’s a date then.” He smiled broadly and Y/N settled back into his arms. He suddenly gripped her tighter and lifted her up, cradling her body close to him in a bridal position. Her eyes snapped open and she squealed.
“Steven! Put me down! I’m too heavy for you!”
“Nonsense doll, you’re light as a feather.” He chuckled as he began walking to her room.
“Thank you Steve, I don’t know what I would do without you.” Y/N sighed and her eyes slid shut, quickly falling asleep. Steve moved carefully through the corridors so as to not wake her. He quietly opened the door to her room and laid her down. Before he left, he covered her with a blanket and lightly kissed her forehead.
As Steve left the room, the bickering voices of Bucky and Sam came down the corridor. He hurriedly shut the door to avoid waking the sleeping girl. “Will you guys be quiet, Y/N just got to sleep and she needs it badly.” The men stopped in their tracks and sported an identical smirk on their faces.
“You’ve got it bad Stevie. You’ve been pining after that girl for months.” Bucky rolled his eyes at his love-sick friend.
“Yeah just ask her out already, we’re so sick of you talking about her all the time, ‘did you see Y/N today? she looked so pretty!’”
“‘Her ass looks amazing in this pants!’” Steve’s face flushed profusely.
“I never said that!”
“Yeah but we could tell you were thinking it!” Sam retorted. The Captain sighed before getting a stern look on his face.
“Come on, if you want to keep talking shit, might as well do some training while you do it.”
Sam and Bucky gasped.
“The great Captain America swore?!?! Oh my heavens! Has our favourite little assistant corrupted you already?” Sam exclaimed.
Just as Steve was about to retort, thunder shook the building. The men looked at each other confused.
“Thor isn’t supposed to be back for another seven months, what would he be doing back?”
“Something bad must have happened.” The soldiers sprinted through the building, not even bothering with the elevator, running quickly up the stairs to the roof.
Thor was furious, the sky darkened with his rage. His shout of frustration echoed across the city as he collapsed to his knees. The door to the roof burst open, the Avengers prepared for a fight at the sight of their clearly distraught friend. Natasha stepped forward first.
“Thor, what’s going on? Do you need help?”
“Where is Stark?” He growled.
“What do you need him for? If we all just calm down I’m sure we can work this ou-“
“Get me Stark NOW!” Lightning crackled behind the god as he pushed through his colleagues in order to get to the billionaire.
Mjölnir smashed through the glass walls of Tony’s lab and pinned him to the floor.
“Where is she!” His voice boomed.
“Jesus Christ, point break is your pillow talk always this bad?” Tony wheezed, the hammer on his chest digging uncomfortably into him.
“I have no time for your stupid jokes. Tell me where she is!”
“We don’t know who you’re talking about, big guy!”
“My sister.” Time seemed to freeze as the hero glanced at each other.
“What makes you think we know where she is let alone who she is.”
“Heimdall told me that she is on Midgard, I must protect her.” Thor’s blue eyes were wild and frantic as he looked down at Tony.
“Who do you have to protect her from?” Steve questioned.
“Loki.”
🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
The tension was thick in the conference room. Thor stood at the end of the table, his jaw clenched so tightly that his teeth could shatter at any moment. Tony was uncharacteristically quiet, Clint was pacing the room, Natasha fiddled with one of her blades, Bruce was nervously playing with a fidget toy Y/N had gotten for him weeks ago, and Steve stood by the door, jaw set and eyes firm. It was Bucky who broke the silence, asking the question the newer Avengers were afraid to ask.
“Who is this Loki person? And why does your sister need protection from him?”
“He was the reason the Avengers were formed,” Natasha began, “back in 2012, Loki used an alien army to invade New York. He wanted to use the Tesseract to bring his armies to Earth in order to rule. We just barely stopped him, a lot of lives were lost because of him.”
“He used the mind stone to brainwash me and dozens of other people,” Clint’s pacing ceased for a time, “I’m sure you know how that feels Barnes.” Bucky’s fist clenched.
“Loki was my adoptive brother. My father took him in when he was a baby. We were raised as siblings but when he discovered his true origins he attacked my father and revoked his position as a prince of Asgard. He’s returned to Jotunheim and is now next in line for the throne. He wasn’t always like this, wanting power. I do not know what has corrupted him but he is no longer himself. He is threatening war with Asgard unless there is an alliance between us, through marriage with my younger sister.”
“You’ve never mentioned a younger sister before,” Bruce sat forward. Thor sighed and ran a hand through his messy blonde hair.
“I didn’t know I had one. Apparently my father had an affair a couple decades ago with a midgardian woman and that relationship produced a child. Loki wants her as his bride. I need to find her and hide her away from him, it’s not right that she has to marry a man who will probably use her against me and my father.”
“The only question that remains is why the hell did you burst in here and try to kill me if none of us knew you even had a sister?” The billionaire glared at the god.
“Heimdall mentioned that she was actually-“ The door slammed open and Y/N burst in clearly frazzled.
“I’m so sorry Mr Stark, I must’ve overslept. Here’s your coffee and a sandwich and your schedule for the day… oh my god I’m so sorry, I didn’t realise you were doing an Avengers thing.” She averted her eyes from the newcomer who was studying her intently.
“No this was a last minute interruption after that idiot tried to kill me and for the last time, call me Tony. You’re literally the least annoying person I know, you’ve earned the right to my first name.” Steve rolled his eyes and Y/N turned to Thor.
“Hi I’m Y/N Y/L/N, Mr St- Tony’s assistant. It’s nice to meet you Mr Odinson. Um, I should get to some of my tasks for the day. I’ll be in my office.” And just as quickly as she arrived, Y/N ran out of the room leaving all of the team softly smiling at her antics.
“How long has she been working here?”
“About five months, why?” Tony answered absentmindedly while munching on his sandwich. Thor rubbed his chin, deep in thought.
“You were saying something about your sister, what was it, we could help you find her.” Wanda pointed out. He broke out of his trance.
“No no, I must think on this.” He turned abruptly and left, following Y/N’s path down the hall.
“Why the hell is everyone so goddamn dramatic?” Sam muttered.
🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
A knock on the door frame broke Y/N out of her trance. She pushed the blue light glasses up her nose and smiled at the blonde man standing in the doorway. He blushed slightly at her gaze and walked into the office.
“Hi doll.”
“Hi Stevie.” His blush deepened.
“Do you maybe want to get some dinner? I’ve got it all prepped in the kitchen if you’re ready to eat.” Steve came around the desk and gripped her shoulders, she moaned slightly as he massaged the tension out of them. The woman leaned her head back against his warm chest, enjoying his affections. Just as Steve was leaning down to kiss her forehead, Y/N’s cell phone rang.
“I’m so sorry, I have to take this,” She glanced at him apologetically, Steve just kept massaging her shoulders, “Hi this is Y/N!…. Yes, that’s my place….really? How bad is it?….no, no I’ll be there soon, thank you, bye.” She hung up and buried her head in her hands.
“Everything ok sweetheart?” Steve’s face was right by her ear causing her to shiver.
“That storm that Thor brought in completely flooded my mom’s house and brought down a couple power lines, my neighbour noticed when she was walking her dog. I have to go make sure that none of my stuff is ruined.”
“Do you want me to go with you doll? I could put my muscles to use.” Y/N giggled and looked back up at him.
“No, I’ll be alright. Besides you and your muscles have a mission tomorrow,” She winked at Steve, “I better get going. The house isn’t going to unflood itself. I’m sorry about dinner Steve, I’ll make it up to you when I get back, promise.” She quickly gathered her things as she spoke to him.
“Oh I’ll be looking forward to it doll,” Steve grabbed her wrist and pulled her back into him before cupping her plump face and leaning down to kiss her cheek, “Call me if you need ok.” She nodded dumbly, staring wide-eyed at him, her face heated. He grinned and kissed her again before handing her the bag she had dropped. “Let me know when you get home, I need to know you’re safe.”
“I will, thank you Stevie.” She pulled her jacket on and rushed out the door.
🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
Grunts echoed through the hall as Steve and Bucky sparred. The mission had been brutal. The Hydra base that they had cleared out was full of failed Winter Soldier experiments, many of them children. They had been tortured extensively to try and get the serum to work but it never did. The kids were practically dead on their feet when Steve found them.
Just as Bucky was about to throw a punch at his friend’s head, he paused.
“Hey, did you think that mission was too easy?” Steve’s eyebrows were furrowed.
“Too easy? They were killing kids, they were torturing them Buck.”
“That’s not what I meant. We found that base too easily, like they wanted us to find it ya know. The guards there were newbies, they hardly even put up a fight. I think it was meant to be a distraction for something else.” Just then F.R.I.D.A.Y. chirped to life.
“Captain Rogers, Mr Stark is looking for you.”
“Where the hell is my goddamn assistant Capsicle? You’re always hanging around her like a lost puppy!” Steve froze, his whole body going rigid. Tony’s voice rang through the empty training room.
“I haven’t seen Y/N since the day she left to go check on her mom’s house.”
“What the hell Steve! That was two days ago!” Tony sounded stressed.
“F.R.I.D.A.Y. what is Y/N’s location?”
“Ms Y/L/N’s location is currently unknown. The last location I can find was on Wednesday at 8:34 pm in Windham, New York from her phone. It seems to be powered off now, I cannot reach her.”
“Motherfucker!” Steve ran from the room headed towards the garage, his only thought was that this was his fault she was gone.
🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
Flashes of lightning were the only illumination in the dark house at the end of the drive. A lone car sat facing the open front door, still idling, the battery nearly drained. The door had nearly been ripped off its hinges, blood soaked the floorboards and a spray painted symbol of a skull decorated the wall in the entryway.
“Hydra,” Captain America sighed.
Tony Stark scrubs his face, clearly agitated. “Why would they want my assistant? I mean she’s a great assistant but I don’t know how she would be an asset to them unless they need her for coffee runs.” Steve glared at Tony, “What, Y/N loved my jokes.”
“Maybe we should focus on finding her instead of making jokes, Stark. There’s no telling what they’re doing to her.” Bucky grumbled.
“I know why they took her,” The Avengers faced Thor, his face dark with fury, “She’s my sister.”

Sometimes, you really hated your job. But, that goes with most jobs, you supposed. It certainly was better than most things you could’ve been doing. You shuddered to think about It’s just...there was something particularly boring about spending so much time in the desert, tracking the demise of planet, trying to pinpoint what could possibly be causing it. At least Darcy was there, too. Her absurd sense of humor was the only thing that got you through the day, most of the time.
Today though? God, you really, really, loved your job.
You watched as Jane confronted the person responsible for the alien invasion—an admittedly handsome god named Thor. You could barely wrap your head around this whole thing. You’d always thought that there were worlds beyond our own, that there was life beyond that which lived on Earth. It made sense, and you knew it did, for there to be others in the universe. But for the myths to be real? For gods and monsters to walk the universe?
Everything you thought you knew had changed in the blink of an eye, but tonight was only just beginning.
“And who might you be?”
You turned, trying to find the person who spoke to you. But when you looked, you were only met with a pair of legs. A pair of blue legs. A pair of blue legs attached to a very, very tall man. Was he a man? You supposed not. You craned your head back, trying to not fall, as you took in the huge man in front of you. He was taller than most trees, you were sure.
You gulped. “Y/N.”
“Y/N,” he repeated. “Hmm...That’s not the name I was expecting.”
Your brows furrowed together. “Excuse me? What were you expecting my name to be?”
“Gorgeous,” he said, his lips lifting into a smirk. “But it doesn’t matter. What is it that your Shakespeare said? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet?”
“You know Shakespeare?”
“Personally,” he said.
“Personally? You...oh.” You blinked slowly, trying to decide if you should dwell on that or move on. You finally decided to ask, “Can I know your name?”
He knelt down in front of you. In normal situations, with a normal man, you would’ve been offended that someone would make themselves smaller to talk to you. But, as he stared at you, his beautiful eyes raking over your body, you only felt an eruption of butterflies in the pit of your stomach.
“I am Loki, of Jotunheim,” he said, his lips curling into a smirk. “And, I’ve been burdened with a glorious purpose.”
“And what’s that purpose?” you asked, trying not to melt as his deep voice still rung in your ears.
“To show the gorgeous Midgardian in front of me a night she’ll never forget.”
You let yourself tear your eyes away from him for a moment. But, your methods of escape were occupied. Jane was dancing with Thor. Darcy was walking away with a talking duck. You could leave on your own but...God, for some reason, you really wanted to stay.
So, against your better judgment, you said, “Give me everything you got, big boy.”
After all, Jane wasn’t the only one who could have a bit of fun.
Which led you to the unfortunate situation of trying to find a place for you and Loki to have your fun. You weren’t entirely opposed to doing it out in the open, but part of you wanted to keep Loki to yourself, to not have the prying eyes of others take in your handsome frost giant. Besides, you were sure that you could still be arrested, and there was no real way to hide the fact you’d be fucking a giant in the middle of the street, was there?
You finally found a hotel that could potentially work. You’d told Loki to wait outside until you could find out if you could get a room or not, but he hadn’t listened, attempting to follow after you as you went through the rotating door.
You rolled your eyes as you watched him, giggling to yourself, before marching up to the front desk. At least the worker would know you were serious instead of pulling her leg.
“This is a weird question,” you asked, glancing between the worker at the front desk and Loki, who was trying to wedge his way in through the door, “but do you have any rooms that would accommodate someone roughly twelve feet tall?”
Her eyes widened as Loki finally managed to get into the lobby, standing to his full height. “Girl, I think you’re the one who’s gonna need accommodations. But, uh, I’ll see what I can do about that room.”
You should’ve been surprised there was a room that could actually work. You should’ve been worried that you quite literally spent your life savings on the presidential suite. You should’ve been running for the hills when you started thinking about how if Loki was twelve feet tall, that would mean his cock was likely going to be proportionate to his height and, regardless of how off those proportions were, it would certainly be the largest cock you’d ever seen.
But, when his cold hands were on you, his thumbs pressing down on your nipples as he pulled you on top of him, every rational thought you had went out the window, free falling, before it shattered on the ground. You didn’t even care that the bed broke the moment he sat on it as he pulled you into his lap.
“Tell me you want this,” he said, his head ducking forward, his lips capturing your own. You didn’t want to respond, all you wanted was to keep his mouth on you, to maybe climb a little higher, to see what that icy tongue felt like on your cunt.
“Ruin me, please,” you whispered, your eyes fluttering open to look at him. “Do whatever you want with me.”
You were glad you had no sentimental attachment to your clothes as he ripped them from your body with ease. You’d worry about trying to find something to wear in the morning. For now, all you wanted was for your every thought to be clouded with him and only him.
“You’re like a doll,” he groaned as he freed his cock from the little clothing he wore. You were sure your eyes bugged out of your head as you looked at the monstrous length. That...was the size of your thigh. No, that was longer than your thigh. “I could break you so easily.”
“Then break me,” you said, grinding against him.
One of his hands left you, and you found yourself missing the coldness. But, as you watched him grip his cock as he guided you so that your cunt was lined up with the tip, excitement bubbled up in your belly.
“Are you sure?”
“Please, don’t make me beg,” you whimper, trying to wriggle out of his grip so that you could take matters into your hands, but he stopped you before you could even begin, holding you just where he wanted you. “Please.”
“But you beg so pretty.” His smirk grew. “Don’t worry. There will be plenty of time to beg. By the time I’m done with you, you’ll be begging me to stop.”
Before you could say any more, he was pushing the tip of his cock passed your slick folds, taking his sweet time in filling you.
“Oh god!” you cried out. Your pussy clenched down on him, and, god, you were sure you came on the spot. He’d barely even begun and you were already reeling, stars dotting the corners of your vision, tears pricking at your eyes.
“Not God,” he said. “But I understand the confusion.”
“Please, gimme more!”
You tried to push down more, but he still held you where he wanted you, controlling you so easily. It was like he wasn’t even trying. That it all came so effortlessly to him. And, god, you were cumming so effortlessly, too.
“More?” he repeated, chuckling, the sound rumbling deep in his chest. “You haven’t even taken half of me yet.”
“Please, Loki, please,” you begged. “Want it all, want you to ruin me, want you to fill me up.”
“As you wish.”
His hips snapped up and you swore he split you in half. He gripped you with both hands now, pushing and pulling on your body, guiding you up and down as if you were a doll, using you to get himself off. You teetered close to the edge, gasping as he pushed you further and further until—
“I’m gonna cum!” you shouted.
“Then cum,” he groaned, his eyes squeezing shut as he chased his own high.
You thought you knew what an orgasm was before. You thought you knew how it felt like. And if what you experienced before Loki was orgasmic, when you only had your hand and your vibrator, then this was euphoric. Every part of you felt like it was alight, like every nerve was on fire, like there was only you and Loki and pure, unbridled pleasure.
You could barely process Loki declaring that he was about to cum, or that when he did cum, that you had the prime opportunity to joke that he was so deep in you that you could taste his cum.
You weren’t sure you could ever catch your breath as he pulled you off his cock, cradling you close to him. You weren’t sure you would ever be the same. You weren’t sure you ever wanted to be the same.
“Be my queen,” he whispered, tugging your body close to his chest.
And, without even beginning to think of the consequences of your answer, you whispered back, “I would love nothing more.”

I’m not feeling super meta-y today, but I wanted to post this before I forgot:
The moment where Thor says, “You can’t kill an entire race,” and Loki says “Why not?” and laughs is a very interesting moment. I think that a lot of viewers take his laugh (well, grin) as though he’s mocking Thor and mocking Thor’s newfound empathy for the Jotuns. This mockery further paints Loki as the villain, standing there laughing at the hero who’s trying to do the right thing.
I don’t think that’s happening at all. Others may have pointed this out, so I’m sorry if I’m repeating anyone, but I think that Loki genuinely thinks that Thor is joking.
It’s like -
“You can’t kill an entire race!”
“Why not?” Loki returns blankly; Thor’s statement has taken him by surprise, as it’s very much not consistent with the Thor who, three days ago, literally marched into Jotunheim seeking, if not war, at least a battle.
He starts to smile, waiting for Thor to join him; Thor, after all, has long vowed to slay every last Frost Giant. But Thor remains stone-faced, and after a moment Loki realizes, with a sudden, cold, clarity, that Thor is serious. Thor genuinely believes that Loki cannot finish off the Jotuns. Had Midgard truly changed him so much in so little time?
(^^This was written off the top of my head, please don’t judge me. But you get the idea.)
For a thousand years, Thor’s narrative has been, “I’ll hunt down and slay every last one of them!” His narrative has been Asgardians = good and Jotuns = bad, and their attempt to steal the Casket was, while infuriating to Thor on the coronation-ruining-level, probably the excuse Thor had been waiting for.
So Loki is like, “look! This is a problem that needs to be solved! I’m going to solve it for you and for us so that the Jotuns are never again a threat.”
And Thor comes back with, “Oh well you can’t actually do that.”
What else was Loki supposed to say except “Why not?”
He grins like Thor has told a joke and the punch line is coming. He grins like Thor’s pulling his leg. And when it becomes obvious that Thor is not, in fact, joking, Loki’s smile fades. He understands that Thor isn’t joking, but he doesn’t understand why.
“Why this sudden love for the Frost Giants?” isn’t meant to be mocking. Loki’s genuinely asking, when did the narrative shift? When did the rules change? Because I was under the impression that this race has always been our enemy, this race is now a threat that needs to be eliminated before things escalate into full-blown war, and if I can both get rid of this enemy and avoid losing any Asgardians in a war, I’d be doing everyone a favor. So what the actual fuck do you mean, ‘you can’t kill an entire race’? Why. Not.?
The moment is so swift, that shift from confused to lmao to oh wait you’re serious? but it’s there - and this is not even touching on Loki’s own, personal turmoil of proving himself, in the midst of an identity crisis, while being a regent king whose inner circle immediately decided treason was cool, like, five minutes after Loki sat on the throne.
Tumblr media
So I mean, imagine the emotional whiplash Loki must have felt. The confusion, the anger, this extra layer of betrayal, wherein not even Thor will support Loki in his plan even though Thor’s own plan was not much better and happened less than a week ago.
(Note that I am not saying Loki’s plan should have been supported - genocide isn’t cool, kids - but I am saying that while Loki and Thor’s relationship was, at this point, fraught with all of the tension between them in regards to ‘worthiness’ and ‘the throne,’ Loki presumably at least thought Thor would back him up on the whole killing-the-Jotuns-to-stop-a-war thing.)
So, yeah ... Loki genuinely doesn’t understand why genocide is wrong. He doesn’t understand why Thor, of all people, is telling him it’s wrong. And I wonder if he doesn’t somehow interpret this as another failing on his own part. That is, Asgard has been subjugating other peoples for millenia. The genocide of the Dark Elves is a cultural legend. Odin entertains Loki and Thor as children by telling them battle stories, ffs.
Asgard is a kingdom built on the oppression and genocide of anyone weaker than they are or who doesn’t fall in line with what Asgard wants, and its people are raised in a warrior-centric society where these are things to be proud of -
- and yet suddenly when Loki tries to do what he thinks he’s supposed to do, it’s wrong? Loki’s doing the wrong thing and his actions against Jotunheim are strikes against him and his general being? Why is Loki always the one who ends up holding the short end of Gungnir? Fuck you and the horse you rode in on, Thor, I’m doing this and I am right to do it.
I, too, would like to know “why not?”

𝐿𝑜𝑘𝑖 ℎ𝑢𝑟𝑡/𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑡 𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑡
Pairing: Loki x GN Reader OneShot
Summery: You comfort Loki after what happened in New York
Warnings: Panic attack, Loki falling off the bifrost (suicide attempt), mentions of torture
~ A panic attack rendered him upon the hard ground, rocking back and forward and sheltering his face with his hands. His thoughts had become so scattered that normal functioning was impossible. He caught flashes of memories, of things he’d forced himself to forget.
Loki’s arm was straining to hold onto Gungnir, and his blood pounded in his ears, every beat marking how many moments he had been hanging over the abyss. If he let go, then that would likely be the end of him.
“I...I could have done it father!” He cried, looking up and silently begging his father to tell him that he could have done it too, to tell him he was good enough. He was too afraid to trust his own instincts for he feared that he would decide on death for himself, so he clung onto the hope that was his father, and for some scrap of approval. A nod, anything. For once in his life, surely his father would tell him he was enough...
“I could have done it,” he cried again, “For you, for all of us!”
“No, Loki.”
He looked up, shock freezing him in place, at the low and calmness of his father’s voice, despite the heavy disappointment that lay there. Odin was disappointed in him, again, and he even had the indecency to be calm about it, as usual.
So his father thought him that weak, after all.
He isn’t my father, he reminded himself.
“Loki!” He heard Thor call out to him, but he’d made up his mind.
His grip slackened, his fingers easing off Gungnir, and he fell...descending into an unknown abyss. Away from light, away from anything good, anything he’d ever known.
He fell further and further away, deeper into the dark parts of space.
It certainly hadn’t been misnamed. It was so dark here, so so dark, and he feels as if the darkness is bleeding into his lungs, filling him with it.
His eyes sting, tears streaming, and so he closes them.
He’s reverted to his Jotun skin.
He feels colder. He wonders whether that’s because he’s in the middle of space, or because he’s a frost giant. He decides he doesn’t care.
He wonders as he falls,
how far he will go
before it all ends.
He sees you first, as the panic attack subsides. You approached him slowly in the cover of night, the cold white moon and New York city’s distant twinkling lights the only luminosity around you both. You wore a long coat and hood against the chilly air. Your shining eyes surveying him cautiously. Cautious, but not afraid. He thought. How interesting.
You had only your sword strapped to her back, but that was a necessity, and you were otherwise not armed.
He wondered how he looked to you, standing out in the cold, a little way from the city he’d destroyed today, while trying to take it over, trying to prove he could. He stood in the shadows, and he knew he must look dreadful; that beast had beat him into the ground, and his forehead was still bleeding. And the muzzle wasn’t flattering either, (or comfortable.) He knew he had dark bags under his sunken eyes from dehydration and lack of sleep, and his paled skin still had the many marks of his torture. If that wasn’t enough, the cold had brought a light blue tint to his skin, vaguely showing his heritage.
“Loki,” you said softly, and his eyes snapped back to you. You certainly didn’t sound angry. Or disgusted. That was also interesting.
Stay away from me. He would have snarled, if he were able, but both would know he didn’t mean it.
“Why did you do this?” You whispered. He didn’t reply. He couldn’t, he was wearing a muzzle. Was you that stupid? He thought. Maybe it had been a theoretical question.
You had been working with S.H.I.E.L.D. for many years, and you’d met Loki a handful of times when he came to earth representing his father and Thor. The two of you were good friends, and he wrote you letters sometimes.
Over the last few years you’d started working with Jane Foster and Eric Selvig and Darcy Lewis, and had met Thor when he was banished to earth.
And then Loki had sent down the Destroyer in his anguish, and you hadn’t even had a chance to talk to him. Then he showed up here a year later with his army, and you’d been recruited by the Avengers to help stop him.
Reaching out slowly, you lightly touched his arm. He flinched, and your eyes met. “Are you hurt?” You whispered. He was, in more ways then you thought. He just narrowed his eyes menacingly in response. It didn’t seem to shun you, even when he let his Jotun form take over completely, red eyes bleeding into blue skin. You definitely didn’t seem frightened, he saw. He didn’t think he could deal with your disgust. Your eyes widened, but you weren’t shocked. He looked different, yes, but having heard about his Jotun heritage, you had expected this. And he was actually very beautiful with blue skin.
His cheeks reddened in colour at the intensity of your stare. You seemed to be looking him over quite thoroughly, searching this skin he wore with her eyes.
“I did not realise how beautiful you were like this.” You whispered softly,
and it caught him off guard. He hasn’t expected that. His head turned to her sharply, eyes narrowed. He hoped you meant those words. Because that meant that you weren’t repulsed by him, right?
He didn’t know why he wanted you to approve of him, you were just a mortal after all. But maybe if you thought he was enough he wouldn’t need the approval of Odin or Thor or anyone else. Maybe then he’d be enough. What was he thinking? It was those shining eyes of yours, he thought. They’re distracting.
Am I? He asked quietly in return, only his thoughts giving away his inner feelings. There was no anger in his message like he’d hoped. Jeez, he hated being vulnerable.
“You have no idea.” You replied, reading his mind like you always did. An interesting power, you had. You touched his face gently, your fingertips brushing his skin.
He shivered, involuntarily leaning into her touch. Slowly, you lifted her other hand to his cheek, and he felt the click of a key as the muzzle was taken off his face, the sharp mouth guard coming away from his chapped lips. He frowned, watching you cautiously.
You smiled at him gently, leaning in, inches from his face, and softly brushed your lips against his. He gasped, and his eyes fluttered back to yours. You smirked in response, maintaining his eye contact and kissing his jaw with the same soft passion. It felt so foreign to him, but oh, it was glorious. Despite his desire for her touch, he pulled away.
“What are you doing?” He hissed.
“Kissing you.”
“Why would you want to kiss me anyway?” He tried to shout, hoping you’d jump. Instead, you looked back up at him calmly, but your eyebrows were creased with concern.
“I’m a frost giant, remember? I’m a monster. I tried to kill everyone. I—”
Oh, how he wished he could have remained impassive like always. It was so simple, he’d done it all his life. It was impossible for people to read him, everyone had also thought so.
Even the torture hadn’t gotten him to break down, not properly.
And yet, here you were, a mortal, standing before him with no weapons or any sign you indicated to harm him, and he broke down crying. It was the worst humiliation, he thought, to be so vulnerable before you and with such little prompting. But in seconds you’d wrapped her arms around him and held him to you gently, whispering to him that it was alright, and that you was so, so sorry. That made him feel a little better, the aftershock of the panic attack fading away with your touches.
“Why?” He whispered.
“Because you are worth it. You are enough. I’m sorry I never told you so. I’m sorry I didn’t realise how much you needed to hear it.”
He just clings to you, soaking up your whispers that it’s going to be okay.
Maybe it will.

Top Forty Thor-Being-Thor Moments from Thor 1
Tumblr media
just absolute dumb*ssery that this 7yr old kid’s life goal is to “hunt down the monsters and slay them all”. I’ll go easy on him here and let the Thor/Loki expressions do the talking because of “...just like you did Father” but seriously can his hands even fit around a sword handle??? this kid isn’t even punching the air right??? if there was a sword in his hand he would’ve cut his head with the way he’s moving???? pure tiny-himbo energy here just look at that >:o face he’s making. contrasts very nicely with Loki’s ‘,:|. 10/10. such a baby idiot.
Tumblr media
“the jotuns must pay for what they have done! they broke into the weapons vault! if the frost giants had stolen even one of these relics!” thor. thor please. can you even name one of these relics. thor. hey thor. thor. shut up. “well, what would you do about this?” odin asks him. “march into jotunheim! like you once did! break their spirits! so they’ll never try anything like this again!” wow okay so we’ve fast-forwarded by like a thousand years and thor is still going on about genocide. huh. that’s funny, i thought loki was the genocidal one. hmm. i also just realized that the loki exclusive clip gives loki the same hairstyle thor has here so do what you will with that information.
Tumblr media
0/10. horrible. terrible. i dont care how angy thor is about not getting to kill some jotuns or become king today this very instant, that is a tremendous waste of food. an absolute fool. how can he just remorselessly throw the bread to the floor. if loki stabbed him when he was 7 he would deserve it for this table flip alone. what a privileged white *ssh*le.
Tumblr media
loki came skulking around a corner and suggested not to go to jotunheim and not only did thor not suspect anything but he also then went on to decide to go to jotunheim. 10/10 himbo material.
Tumblr media
if tumblr didn’t have a picture limit i would put every instance of thor smiling in this list because look at that stupid smile. he’s such an idiot. 11/10. this is the thor content i’m here for.
Tumblr media
“I have no plans to die today” thor says with the stupidest open-mouthed smirking smile ever captured on film. right after he also told heimdall not to tell anyone they’re gone. he’s literally planned to strand them on jotunheim. thor’s grand plan was to strange themselves on jotunheim and also start a fight. i repeat: thor’s plan was to successfully slay all the frost giants and not need to return until they’re all gone. what an absolute d*mb*ss. this is getting ridiculous. this was originally a top-ten-thor moments list but i’m not even twenty minutes in so i’ll have to extend the list. thor. thor are you listening? thor, you’re such an idiot.
Tumblr media
“HOW DID YOUR PEOPLE GET INTO ASGARD?!” thor you sweet sweet summer idiot, please, i am beggin,g you,, learn to rea,d , a room,, literally everyone else who came with you is regretting it, there is complete silence and only the rumble of the opposing king is meeting your “I AM THOR, SON OF ODIN”s, please, please take some notes from Loki, or, you know, literally anyone else in the room, since everyone is asking you to get out of this realm while you still can,
Tumblr media
thor’s stupid smile makes an appearance after he gets called a princess and decides to fight a whole realm over it. you know what? thor is a princess. he’s the prettiest princess in all the lands. what’s thor gonna do about it? is he going to fight me too? I hope he does the stupid grin first. minus 15 points for the sexism. thor is a complete and utter sadistic fool who needs to get a hobby. seriously, he’s 1500 years old and still going on and on about slaying all the frost giants. boi, i hate to break it to you, but your dad is not the best or only example of greatness out there. i don’t think your dad even qualifies as an example of that.
Tumblr media
“THEN. GO!” 🥰 ahh yes, just thor thingz 🥰🥰 like when one friend has had his arm burnt 🥰 and another friend has been impaled and needs medical attention, 🥰🥰 and all the rest of your friends are yelling for you, 🥰 and your brother is telling you they must go, 🥰 and you decide to buy everyone time by laughing maniacally and killing more frosties because you care for them and dont find joy in destruction like a loon 🥰🥰🥰
Tumblr media
THIS is the iconic Thor moment that makes my day whenever I think about it. Just Thor, an absolute bumbering 6′6′’ giant boodlusting dummy sees Odin and just decides to yell “FATHAA!! WE’LL FINISH THEM TOGETHAAA!” as if the last thing Odin told him wasn’t “no, thor, we’re not going to do anything to the frost giants, do not go after them and try to kill them all.” 11/10 d*mb*assery right here folks, I couldn’t ask for Thor to be more of a fool. This is PEAK Thor energy. Look at that face. I feel like Thor spends half this movie with his nostrils flared. I love it.
Tumblr media
okay i gotta give thor credit for rightfully calling odin “an old man and a fool” but also there was not even 1 frame of the scene where Thor had a decent face so now all i see is >:O >:| >:o >:[ when i watch that scene. yelling at odin was great, not yelling at odin after he HUAERGHed at loki was less great, but to be fair it’s thor and he is the definition of Peak D*mb*ss.
Tumblr media
thor literally GROWLS and starts yelling “HAMMAA?? HAMMER??” over and over. He was hit by a van, he fainted, he woke up and started growling. I don’t know what else there is to say about this.
Tumblr media
“you dare threaten me? puny human?”. so. uhh. basically. Thor knew she was threatening him? He KNEW she had a weapon? instead he made a face and started yelling as he tried to walk his way closer????? thor you complete and utter dum dum. you frickin hairball-for-brains. im not even surprised darcy tasered him. with that kind of face, i’d taser him too.
Tumblr media
when you wake up in an unknown place to a person smiling at you without a stupid smile, the first step is always to attack first and ask questions later 😌😌😌 (but seriously thor you imbecile why didn’t you ask where you were instead of throwing multiple people around the room and getting your butt needled. you clueless buffoon. you’ll remain a clueless buffoon if you don’t listen to anyone.)
Tumblr media
just a quick recap but thor was knocked unconscious by a van and these people kidnapped him aboard and the next scene we see him in he’s checking himself out in  mirror after presumably changing right there in the open?????? these are the things that make thor thor. any other character and i’d question it so much, but this is thor, and i truly believe this is in-character for him. just change in the open because why not? thor is a beefcake and that’s his only redeeming quality and he knows it. 10/10 thor moment.
Tumblr media
I am now convinced that Thor saw Jane and “5k van-hitter to lover slow-burn height-difference himbo-scientist trope” flashed through his mind.
Tumblr media
“but no more smashing!” Jane says, and then Thor proceeds to check her out and smile unlike an idiot and like a douche. was this his version of flirting???? i’m not one to decide, but yes, yes it was. He threw a cup to the ground and broke it, and she’s getting mad at him and berating him about it, and he’s liking it. y’all i’m sorry to break it to you like this, but thor has a canon fetish. i am so, so sorry.
Tumblr media
im DYING. THAT ISN’T EVEN A KISS, HIS MOUTH IS OPEN. he SMUSHES his mouth around her knuckle???? WHY. I can’t keep noticing things like this. send help. please. Jane’s response makes so much more sense now; she’s laughs for a solid 3 seconds and shakes her head and is like “uhh, thank you? ahaha,” and then she keeps looking back longingly when walking away. they are doing this in PLAIN sight of EVERYONE. Darcy and Erik are standing RIGHT THERE, and Thor is doing weird things to her with his mouth. I’m out. I am done here. goodbye.
Tumblr media
return of the stupid smile AND the douche smile in quick succession through the entire trip. their entire dialogue is peppered with innuendo. “I’ve never done anything like this before. have you ever done anything like this before?” “many times, but you are brave to do it.” “I have nothing else to lose.” “ah but you are clever, far more clever than anyone else on this realm.” “realm? rEaLm?” “you think me strange?” “yes” “good strange or bad strange?” “I haven’t decided yet.” I AM DYING OVER THIS. plus, we get Return Of The Himbo with Jane asking after Einstein Rosen bridges and Thor is like “uh, actually, more like a rainbow bridge 😜🤪” i feel so sorry for jane here, didn’t know how much of a d*mb*ss Thor was when signing up for this van-trip and knuckle-sucking 😭😭😭 i also no longer have questions about how the trip that SHOULD HAVE BEEN A HALF-HOUR ONE turned into one that LASTED TILL THE SUN WENT FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE SKY TO SETTING by the time they arrived. I have no questions. please. I don’t want to know what they were doing in that van. please no. don’t make me think about it.
Tumblr media
thor’s plan had 3 steps and they were 1. give jane his jacket 2. walk in and get his hammer 3. fly out. that was literally his plan. he had the first “I have a plan. attack.” moment in the MCU. pure concentrated 0-brain-cells energy right here. how can you not stan this king of d*mb*ssery. look at him, flaunting his big boy muscles. he’s about get his hammer and fly out, like he just told jane with a trademark stupid-smile.
Tumblr media
crop-top hair-mop thor is my favourite thor. the way the entire fight scene parallels a hamster in a maze only exemplifies the thor vibes for some inexplicable reason.
Tumblr media
“you’re big. fought bigger.” + Thor douche-smile + subtext from earlier + rolling around passionately in the mud = not a happy me.
Tumblr media
I swear i’m not making up this romantic subtext but it’s barely even subtext. the entire scene leading up to Thor’s attempt at lifting the hammer is actually filmed erotically. I’m not kidding. First there’s a shot where Thor pulls aside a hamster-cage-wall blind which mirrors a shower-curtain, and THEN he walks around the hammer while smiling douche-ly at it, we get a few close-ups to his face which are shot from angles slightly lower than himself, giving him an aire of superiority, plus the music adds to this, he reaches out for the hammer’s handle with a mud-covered arm in the rain, in non-slow-motion slow-motion, and he wraps his arm around it, like, he fully twists his arm, unecessarily sexually, around it as he grabs the hammer. This is not okay. On the plus side, it makes the movie much more entertaining,, on the down side,,.
Tumblr media
im not going to call Thor dumb for not knowing he’s not worthy. im not going to. because odin literally whispered the enchantment to mjolnir after he’d thrown thor to midgard. it is very funny watching thor grunt in frustration though. he starts yelling because he couldn’t lift the hammer and just lets himself get caught. like, dude, get a life, go buy a new weapon from the store, seriously. he mourns for the hammer on-screen longer than he does for loki. he also looks like he’s in far more pain here. he becomes catatonic and unresponsive after this, but when loki dies he’s already feasting the same afternoon. 10/10 dum dum thor material. never change thor, never change. (that’s code for please change, thor, please,)
Tumblr media
thor trying to establish dominance wherever he goes is the funniest thing because at this point he’s being a complete asgardian *ss about it and it’s reaching points of pettiness never seen before. side note: he is possibly flirting with selvig too. maybe. i’m not saying anything happened, but Thor’s openning lines when bringing him home carried over his shoulder are “he’s fine, not injured at all,” followed with an apology to selvig, and an explanation to jane which consisted only of “we drank, we fought, he made his ancestors proud,” and then he puts the man to bed and before he falls asleep erik says “i still don’t believe you’re the g*d of th*nder, but you ought to be,” so... your choice, i guess...
Tumblr media
thor’s got his trademark stupid smile and stupidly takes jane’s life’s work notebook and starts doodling in it about trees. the last time his father told him this story about Yggdrasil was when he was 5 and he clearly hasn’t payed attention to any lesson about anything since and it shows so so much. thank you thor. very insightful knowledge you’re passing on hear. ‘i come from a world where [science and magic] are one and the same,’ ok great, now elaborate on that please. oh, right, you can’t because you’re thor, my bad, 20/10 thor behaviour. he couldn’t even doodle nicely. all his lines are wobbly. epic art fail. i wouldn’t trust him near my sketchbook with a 2B pencil.
Tumblr media
THIS is thor’s realization face. in case anyone was interested in what ‘dawning truth’ looked like on him. 😰😪 THIS is the face of a thinker, of a man betrayed by his own beloved brother for unprecedented reasons. look at the nuance in his expression. 😩😩😩 so many emotions, I can’t even count them all 😩💯😪
Tumblr media
stupid smile and “do not worry my friends, i have a plan,” he says, “i’ll just try and abuse the fact that Loki’s super selfless and kind and has no self worth to my benefit as i have countless times before which is exactly what he’s rightfully angry about this time,” he doesn’t think to himself because that is NOT the smile of someone who is thinking... like, at all. +10000 points to gryffinthor. the d*mb*ssery really jumps out.
Tumblr media
“im sorry bro for whatever i did and whatever you’re blaming me for as an excuse to do this, im sorry bro, but you’re disturbing innocents that i don’t really care about but you’re the one making a scene in front of them so why don’t you admit you won’t kill me and are just having a temper tantrum and we move on? hmm?” and then he proceeds to get slam dunked in the face with a metal arm like yEAAAA BOI that’s what you GET for going up against the SENTIENT LAVA-SPEWING metal-man ya absolute dunderhead clod. thunderhead clod? yeah, that. he’s just so dumb, your honour, please, you must understand, the victim pleads guilty on all charges of d*mb*ss and d*mb*ss alone.
Tumblr media
I can NOT describe the emotions I feel knowing that Thor is suck-kissing Jane’s knuckles. Like, his mouth is literally jelly-ing it up against her hand. There is suction there and it shows when he is placing and removing his mouth. I promise that’s what is happening. I’m not any happier than you about this. I regret everything. This is why Loki should be what is focused on and not Thor; Thor’s going around trying to frick frack everything in sight even if it’s just Jane’s hand. He’s maintaining eye contact with Jane while he licks her fingers. Why did I decide to rewatch this movie.
Tumblr media
i’m only adding this in as a thor moment because of how desperately and badly they kiss. seriously. 2/10 kiss. im not surprised jane broke up with him. they look like two actual seals fighting over an actual grape. while i’m here i’m going to criticize every fic ever that decided thor is an experienced gentle lover. what were y’all on when watching this movie. thor can and will f*ck literally everything in sight and he won’t even do it well because he is the peakest of peak d*m d*m. look at this man. look at his face. that is the face of an absolute himbo idiot, and it’s the face of an absolute himbo idiot who knows it. he’s been stranded on earth for 2 days, max, and his flirt-count is at 69 people because his name is one letter away from thot. i bet his terrible use of a pen from early means he writes his ‘r’s like ‘t’s and he doesn’t even care. 1000/10 thor moment. doesn’t get much more romance-thor than two individuals smooshing their faces together after some finger sucking. that finger sucking is gonna leave jane simping for years. and that’s true love babey. <3
Tumblr media
“I’ll handle my Brother!” Thor says, as if Loki didn’t send a metal-murder-bot that quite virtually killed him less than ten minutes ago asdfhkhsdgsdjf Thor, you horrific himbo you, Loki’s weapon of choice is literally throwing knives he will literally kill you before you enter the room if he’s on his game and wants you dead which he just proved he would do and you’re just gonna???????????? jog on over to him????? Thor??????????? bruH???????????? buddy??????? pal???????? you really wanna go 1v1 the brother you very clearly underestimate and know nothing about????????????????? im loving the confidence, but, no.
Tumblr media
Loki: “you literally can’t stop this from here.” Thor, immediately: “i’m going to hit it with the hammer and see if that works” and then it does in fact work later... technically speaking, even if it ends up causing chaos destruction and death and loki falling off the bifrost 😔😔😔 but Big Brain Thor is the Biggest Brained Thor!!! The plan worked!! in a messy-Thor-ish way, but it did!!!
Tumblr media
“you can’t kill an entire race!!!!” Thor yells, teeth gritted, as he faces his brother, his coward pacifist brother, who has suddenly decided he wants to join the age-old family tradition of realm-destroying, when this is supposed to be Thor’s dream, Thor’s, not Loki’s. How dare he, Thor thinks to himself, fist clenched around Mjolnir in anger, the pain of the handle pressing against his palm perhaps the only thing preventing him from lashing out at this thought, that’s my planet of monsters to slay, he should go get his own! Loki hits Thor across the face with the back-end of his spear. “Now fight me,” Loki says, but Thor, well, Thor cannot fight, as he remains stunned that of all things Loki would dare steal his life’s ambition, and he is sent sprawling backwards across the observatory, slowly but surely sliding to a stop despite his catatonic, very symbolic silence.
Tumblr media
the elegance, the poise, i see your time on earth has made you no less graceful, Thor. the simple magnitude of this sprawl. the spread of the arms. the turn of the feet. this is not a dude, this is a man.
Tumblr media
sometimes your brother starts vehemently talking about he’s gonna kill the race of monsters and about how he’s only ever wanted to be your equal and about how he’s not your brother and never was and sometimes you just have to say “this is madness” instead of addressing the issues or asking for any of the  deets 🔥 👊💯😩
Tumblr media
Loki is whipping Thor’s butt. Both literally, and metaphorically, Loki is whooping Thor’s d*mb*ss. Earlier he knicked Thor’s face, now he’s just pushing Thor around, he uses the spear as a pole and later kicks Thor’s face by kicking vertically up, and Thor, bless him in all his blond golden muscled glory, doesn’t think anything is up with this, gosh he’s such an absolute utter idiot
Tumblr media
sometimes your brother laughs way too much and also cries too much in a fight and there are also too many of him so you just need to blast lightning so you get a shot at all of them 😌😌😌 and then put your magical infinitely-heavy hammer on his chest 😌😌😌 but it’s okay because Thor left holes in Loki’s container 😌😌😌
Tumblr media
now THIS is the meat to Thor’s funny bone, just the pure unadulterated humour that is Thor saying that there will never be a “wiser king” or a “better father” than Odin, it cracks me up every single time without fail, just the way he says it with a straight face and— what do you mean he wasn’t joking
Tumblr media
look at Thor’s stupid smile as he asks Heimdall to spy on jane every single day while conveniently never asking after Loki ever. This is Thor’s face in mourning after he attended a feast after everyone was celebrating after Loki’s death. Look at his stupid smile. I love him your honour. He’s just,, he’s just so frickin stewpeed, just Thor being Thor, just the purest of d*mbest of *sses.

I love you every ways you are
Summary:
Loki is injured in a mission in which Mobius did not know he was involved. When he finds Loki unconscious in the medical wing of the TVA, he is surprised to see him in his Jotun form... how will he react?Tumblr request : Mobius sees Loki in his Jotun form and comforts him.
This request was a godsend, I had been saying to myself for several times that I absolutely wanted to write a scene where Lobius sees Loki in his Jotun form, it's done and Mobius is as always, adorable.
I wish everyone to meet at least one person who loves us in all our forms.💕

Mobius was finishing up signing off on some papers when HB popped into his office.
"Mobius! I need you to come to the medical ward, it's... it's Loki."
"What?! Loki?!" He stood up quickly and followed her, almost running.
"HB tell me! What's wrong?"
"We were on a mission and -"
"What mission?! Loki never told me he was going on the field today!"
HB looked sheepish and guilty.
"We really needed him and his... special talents. Loki agreed on the only condition that you were not told."
"What?!" Mobius felt like he was going from bad surprise to bad surprise. "But why?"
"Mobius, I can't tell you... you'll find out... when you see Loki, I can't tell you more. He wouldn't want me to."
"But how bad is it? How is he?"
"He has a concussion and is unconscious, but the prognosis is good."
"What do you mean by concussion?!"
They had arrived in front of the room where Loki was supposed to be, HB put her hand on Mobius' arm to try to calm him down, "I'll explain when we get to the room" seeing that Mobius didn't want to give up, she added, "Please Mobius..."
Mobius, clearly upset, nodded and they entered the room.
They approached the bed where he could see his lover lying down.
When he got closer, he couldn't hold back a gasp.
Loki was in his frost giant form.
Mobius came even closer.
He could now distinguish the blue skin. Loki's hands, resting on the white sheet, were bringing out that special shade of blue.
He had already seen Loki's appearance as a frost giant in the TVA files, but seeing him in the flesh had something unreal, almost magical.
Yet it was his Loki, the fine features of his face, his long fingers, his long black curls.
Mobius could not resist the impulse to touch him.
He delicately took Loki's hand in his own. At first he was surprised by the coldness of the skin, but nothing that he could not bear.
The only thing that distressed him was that the hand was inanimate in his.
The door to the room opened and Mobius gently let go of the hand to turn to the doctor who had just entered.
"Are you..." the visibly embarrassed doctor didn't seem to have how to address their relationship.
"I'm his partner, at work and in life." Mobius replied in a firm voice.
"Um... alright... uh... let me first reassure you that your... companion is fine. He has not suffered any damage from his concussion and he should wake up any minute now. All that's left to do is wait. You can stay with him as long as you need to. Let the nurses know if anything changes."
Mobius nodded and thanked the doctor, who excused himself and left, leaving Mobius and HB with the still unconscious Loki.
Mobius pulled out a chair, placed it next to the bed and sat down. He took Loki's hand in his, stroking the back of his hand with his thumb and looking at Loki's face with a worried look.
A hand came to rest on her shoulder and gently squeezed it.
"Mobius, it will be alright, Loki is strong."
Mobius nodded then asked softly, "HB, what happened, and why didn't I know about this mission?"
"The Void Research Team reported to us that a frost giant was hiding, and they didn't want him to think of them as the enemy. Their goal being to save any variants that might have survived. Loki found out about this and offered to help, by taking his frost giant form, provided that you didn't know about it. We agreed because we had no better solution. Everything went well, Loki had managed to "tame" the ice giant, but one of the team members -who was already sanctioned I promise you-, made a sudden movement that scared the frost giant who in a defensive movement sent Loki flying, hence his concussion. Everything is back to normal now."
"Except for Loki..." muttered Mobius.
"I'm so sorry Mobius, I'm sure he'll wake up soon." replied HB, squeezing his shoulder again before continuing, "I have to get back to work, let me know if he wakes up."
Mobius simply nodded his head.
Once HB was out, he moved even closer and pushed a strand of Loki's hair back behind his ear and asked, his voice hoarse with emotion, "Sweetheart, why...why did you hide it from me?"
The hand in his quivered slightly.
"Loki?"
The hand moved slightly again.
"Yes, that's right sweetheart, wake up..."
He saw the eyelids flutter and slowly open on the scarlet pupils.
Then as consciousness slowly returned, he saw surprise and then panic come to dull the brilliance of Loki's beautiful eyes.
"Mo- Mobius... What are you doing here?"
Loki squirmed, trying to remove his hand from Mobius' and turning his head to the side.
"Loki...? What's wrong?"
Without turning his head and still trying to free his hand, Loki whispered, "I... didn't want... you to see me like this..."
"What?" Sweetheart please look at me, and answer me, why didn't you want me to see you like this?"
Loki shook his head and did not answer.
Mobius took the cold chin firmly, and turned Loki's face towards him. Loki clenched his eyes shut, refusing to meet Mobius' gaze.
Mobius said softly, "Loki, please open your eyes and answer me."
Loki whispered, his voice broken, still without opening his eyes, "I am a monster, how can you look at me and touch me, when I look like this?"
Mobius, not letting go of his grip, answered in the same gentle tone, "The same way I touch and look at you every day, sweetheart.
"How could y-"
"Open your eyes and see that I am not lying to you," Mobius continued gently.
Loki swallowed and slowly opened his eyes.
He gasped as he faced Mobius' gaze, for it was a gaze in which he read no rejection, no disgust, no dislike, just love and awe.
"I... I don't understand... I never... never... how..." Loki stammered, completely unable to believe anything he read in Mobius' eyes.
"Loki... even in this form you are you, how could I not love you? These fingers..." He gently kissed Loki's fingers one by one, " These are yours, this face and these eyes..." He delicately traced the features of Loki's face with his fingertips, "these are yours, and this heart..." he leaned over and placed a kiss in the middle of Loki's chest, "this is yours. Loki's heart. How could I not love it?"
"You... you mean it?"
Mobius took Loki's hand and placed two fingers on his own temple, then said softly, "Look for yourself in my head, if my words are not enough for you."
Loki shook his head and replied, "No, I believe you. As incredible as it is, I believe you."
The red pupils were filled with disbelief and something akin to wonder.
Moving his hand to Mobius' cheek, Loki whispered with a broken voice, "Every time I've done something, or said something that I think will drive you away from me, every time you prove me wrong and show me how worthy I am. You're the first one to do that for me. You're the first to break through my darkness."
Mobius placed a light kiss on his trembling lips and said as he pulled back, "It's about time someone did." He grasped Loki's hand again and said with a wink, " The only thing I miss now is Loki's smile."
Mobius was delighted to see probably one of the most beautiful smiles he had ever seen on Loki's lips.
A smile that said the happiness of being accepted.
A smile that said happiness to love and be loved.
A smile that said nothing but happiness.

We've seen the birth scene in the Rule 63, but I'm really curious about what it would be like in the Disaster Averted AU with Sigyn and the twins. Thank you!
Loki's been through this before with Sleipnir, but it's Sigyn's first time, and she's scared about a lot of things.
Thank you for the ask!
---
Frigga was reading in her sitting room, when an illusion of Loki phased through the wall, as well as a couch and the table. He looked about as frazzled as she’d ever seen him.
“Sigyn’s water broke.”
Frigga stood.
“I’ll send for Iðunn,” she said.
“I’ve taken care of that,” he said. “She needs you, Mother.”
“Of course, I’ll be right up,” she said, heading for the door.
“Please hurry!” Loki said before the illusion dissipated.
Frigga rushed up to Loki’s tower. When she got there, Sigyn was lying on the bed, covers tossed aside, crying out in pain. Loki sat by the bed like he’d never left the room, her hand in his, the other hand on her stomach.
“Just breathe, Iðunn will be here any moment,” he said.
Frigga approached and saw that Loki was sending pulses of magic through to her— pain management, one of the few healing spells he’d fully mastered. Frigga sat on the other side, stroking the girl’s hair.
“I’m right here,” she said.
Iðunn rushed into the room next, carrying an armful of supplies. She tripped coming over and Loki’s magic caught the dropped items and brought them over.
“I came as quickly as I could,” she said.
She assessed the situation.
“You’re not fully dilated yet,” Iðunn said. “Contractions tend to come in waves, this will die down momentarily, and then come again.”
The pained look on Sigyn’s face told the room her opinion of that.
“There’s…” Sigyn said, panting. “There’s something…”
Loki and Frigga exchanged a look.
“Iðunn, I’m Jotun,” Loki said.
She blinked. “Loki, now’s not the time for—”
Loki released his hand from Sigyn’s grip and stepped back. He shifted into his Jotun form. Iðunn gasped.
“Shit.”
He shifted back.
“This is part of the reason why my temperature dropped,” Sigyn said, coming down from the wave of contractions. “Why we’ve been so nervous about this. We have no idea how this is going to go.”
Iðunn looked Sigyn in the eye.
“I promise,” she said. “You will be fine. Your children will be fine. This is going to be routine, and we’ll get through it together.”
Loki sighed, smiling. He took Sigyn’s hand again.
“I’ll need a thicker pair of gloves, though,” Iðunn said.
“Of course,” Frigga said, getting up. “Let me know whatever you need— today, I am your servant.”
“Thank you, your majesty.”
---
Sigyn sat in a large, very comfortable chair. She could sit up, it had been weeks since she could sit up… The relief that she was out of bed, though, was mitigated by the fact that she was holding Nari and could not get him to latch.
“Please,” she muttered under his insistent crying. “Please. I’m right here, I can help, just…”
She brought him closer, but he just cried harder. She sighed.
Loki walked over.
“Váli’s down,” he said. “How is he?”
“I… I can’t,” she said.
Loki came over and she handed him their son.
“That’s because he doesn’t need to be fed,” Loki said, feeling the cloth wrapped around the infant. “He needs changing.”
Sigyn shook her head as Loki took Nari over to a corner of the room, where there were two cribs and a table set up. Loki laid the infant on the table and unwrapped the cloth around him.
Sigyn closed her eyes, leaning back in the chair.
“Am I a bad mother?” she asked.
“You’ve been a mother for all of five hours,” Loki said. “I’d say the jury’s still out.”
“I should have been able to tell what’s wrong,” she said.
“You’re covered in sweat,” Loki said, wrapping new cloth around his son. “You didn’t smell it because—”
“The first one doesn’t smell,” she said. “I know.”
“Váli latched just fine,” Loki said. “And Nari will as well, once he’s ready. You’re exhausted. You’ve been up for almost 26 hours, the post delivery was particularly difficult, it’s been quite a day for you.”
Loki laid his son down in his crib, gently rubbing the blue skin on his chest. Neither he nor his sister bore the marks of the Line of Laufey. Loki figured it was all for the better. They would not have the same legacy to live up to as he did.
“Forgive me, darling, if my first impression of your parenting ability is marked more by your concern than by your actions," he said as he walked back to her.
He knelt in front of the chair, taking her hands in his.
“You love these children as much as any good mother,” Loki said. “And they will love you. And you will be a wonderful mother.”
She smiled. “Thank you, my heart.”
He kissed the back of her hand.
“Let me take you to bed,” he said.
“After being in labor for 14 hours? Loki, I’m as voracious as you, but—”
“You need to sleep,” he said, shaking his head. “Come, we should rest while the children are asleep. They’ll let us know when they need us.”
He helped her stand and walked her over to their bed. The bedding and mattress had been changed, and the new sheets were soft as a cloud as Loki laid her down. She was already half asleep when Loki laid down next to her.
“Sleep,” he said quietly. “And dream of the life we will give them. How their joys will be unnumbered, and their pain will always come with the soothe of a balm. You will their rock, as you are mine, and they will want for nothing.”
Sigyn was soon asleep on his chest, his arms around her. He smiled and kissed the top of her head.
“I love you,” he whispered. “And so will they.”

I get it now, I really just wanted him to tell her already but I see it now. You think so deeply it goes over my head 90 percent of the time. It's nice that they're happy but why isn't Nat and Bruce, especially Nat at her ass already?? They are okay right? Anyways back on the topic him being a burden puh-lease, she loves him so much, he wouldn't be a burden to her if he got on top of her and told her to pick him ( you know by being an actual literal burden 😂😅), I know my sense of humor is bad but I'm happy today so 😋. Can he make me tea??? And he is a prince, prince. Ofcourse he's gonna talk like that. Personally, I think his marks are one the most attractive things about jotun loki not that there can be anything that is not attractive about him but I think I can write poetry about his marks. It won't be good but I can write it. And um the cuddling in the freezer, Wow that was just wow ❤❤. But what did you mean his fate doesn't work in his favour ever😭😭. More bad things will happen??
I'm aware that this was probably very weird but I just got my work done. I'm gonna get a free weekend so I'm a little high on that. 😁😁 Thank youuu!! Love you!!!!!
🧁
I do tend to think deeply, it's my blessing and a curse 😂
They were at a convention in Chicago, we will see where they are 👀
I think if he was on top of her she'd be really really happy with that prospect 😂
Yes to the poetry, and I want to read it as soon as are done 😍
Yay to the free weekend ☺️😉 I love you too dear. Enjoy the weekend and the chapters 💚

Me: And I took that personally
Honestly, this turned into more of a separate challenge for me to see if I could take a fluffy prompt and write an angst bomb. I can say I’m both pleased and thoroughly ashamed of myself.
Happy Birthday, Lucy! I hope you don’t hate me too much after this one ...

“Are you happy, child?”
It wasn’t the type of thing Eija had expected the hulking warrior to ask a street urchin like her, especially not after catching her wrist in his pocket. Really, she should have known better than to try to steal from someone so clearly capable of crushing her skull within his fist, but his golden armor had glistened so temptingly in the sunlight and besides, she had never been caught before …
When he caught her wrist and yanked her in front of him, Eija was sure that this was the end. The penalty for stealing was steep to begin with, but stealing from a noble (and certainly this man must have been a noble) could lose you your head. But he said nothing of punishment. Instead, he curled his purple lips into a smile and asked her that question.
“Are you happy, child?”
No one had ever asked her that before. No one ever really asked her anything—the most Eija ever got were the curses spat at her on the street, on the luckless days when pickpocketing had brought her nothing and she was forced to beg for sustenance. No one cared enough to ask after her.
No, she told the warrior-noble, no, she wasn’t happy. She was hungry and tired and cold, and she didn’t have money to buy food.
The towering creature laughed, caressing the brilliant hilt that hung at his waist. “I thought not. Come,” he said, stepping forward and motioning her to follow. “I have something for you to eat on my ship.”
Eija tugged at the laces on her boot. She had tied and untied them three times already, but she could think of nothing else to do in this tiny room, so she went in for the fourth. Besides her, the Jotun sagged against his braces in the metal chair, his labored breathing the only sound to break the stillness. He didn’t look very Jotun. Lord Thanos had explained that it was some kind of enchantment—the AllFather had magicked away his blue skin when he was a baby to make him look more Asgardian. Eija didn’t really understand the reasoning behind such an action, but she didn’t need to. Her job was simply to make sure he survived the night.
It was a frustrating assignment. Eija wasn’t a healer—she had no idea what she was supposed to do if death came knocking for the prisoner. Unfortunately, she wasn’t exactly an assassin either, and so unlike the rest of her adoptive siblings her role on the Sanctuary wasn’t considered to be of critical importance.
So here she was. Babysitting.
The Jotun groaned. It was a soft noise, but it was enough to rip Eija’s attention away from her shoes. He shifted against his restraints, but there was no force behind the movements.
“Hey,” she called. “Are you awake?” She shouldn’t have been talking to the prisoner. Somehow, she knew Lord Thanos wouldn’t like it if he were to find out. Still, the metallic room housed a lonely existence, and Eija was desperate for any kind of distraction.
Although the prisoner didn’t exactly seem to be the ideal conversation partner. He flinched at the sound of her voice, his feeble movement falling still as abruptly as it began. Perhaps she should have gone back to her laces, but Eija was intrigued. She left her stool to stand before the Jotun, peering down at him through his shackles.
“Are you awake?” she asked again. He didn’t respond. His eyes were closed, his head hanging limply against his shoulders, as if he hadn’t just been rustling about. The thought of some grand Jotun (Asgardian?) prince trying to trick her by playing dead was so comical that Eija had to bite back her laugh.
“Hey,” she said instead, trying to add some of that Black Order sharpness to her voice as she tapped his arm. “Knock it off. I know you’re awake.”
He looked up at her then, his movement slow and labored. It almost made her wince, just looking at the way he struggled to open his bloodshot eyes. Lord Thanos had allowed Proxima charge of the Jotun today, and she had clearly made the most of it—his face was so swollen that she never would have recognized the man Corvus had pulled out of the depths of space only a week ago.
“What do you want?” he whispered, voice low and hoarse. He was making a valiant effort to control his breathing, but Eija knew the look of fear when she saw it. She had seen it in the faces of almost everyone who found themselves in the presence of Lord Thanos and his children, although those faces were never focused on her. This must have been the first time she was the cause of such terror.
It was an odd feeling. Eija wasn’t sure she liked it.
She shrugged, dropping the serious tone. “I just wanted to talk to someone. It gets very dull in here.”
The prisoner only stared at her.
No, not the ideal conversation partner at all.
Eija sighed. It seemed she’d be returning to her shoelaces in short time after all.
“Can you tell me your name at least?” she asked. No one had mentioned it yet, and Eija had been afraid to inquire. Lord Thanos hadn’t been particularly happy when he gave her this assignment—his anger had been more directed at Proxima, for nearly killing the prisoner, but Eija didn’t want to give him a reason to turn on her. She wasn’t often the target of the Mad Titan’s fury, but the few times she was were enough of a lesson for a lifetime.
But the Jotun made no response. “Is this a trick?” he asked finally.
“No. I’m just curious.” A strand of black hair had fallen into his eye. Eija was tempted to brush it away, but she held herself back. “I’ll tell you my name, if it makes you feel better,” she offered.
She waited a moment for him to give some kind of answer. He didn’t.
“Eija,” she said. “My name’s Eija.”
He inhaled. “Did he send you to kill me?”
The question caught her off guard, although perhaps it was fair. “What? No, no I’m just— no,” she stuttered. “I don’t … kill people.”
He eyed her, unconvinced. “Why are you here, then?”
“To make sure you don’t die,” she said. “They were worried, you know.” Proxima had been quite proud of herself. Eija had overheard her bragging to some of the others earlier in the day about how she had the little prince calling out for his mother by the end. They had been laughing about it, how quickly he had succumbed to childish instincts, but the thought intrigued Eija.
She had never known her mother. Before Lord Thanos had found her, she had had no one but herself, scrounging up what food she could from what she stole on the street. She never cried for anyone, no matter how frightened she was. She had no one to cry for.
She wondered what it was like.
“Are you truly not going to tell me your name?” she asked. It was a bit disappointing. She had hoped he’d be at least a little more interesting than this.
He swallowed slowly, painfully. Whereas before it seemed he was afraid to take his eyes off of her, now he seemed unable to meet her gaze.
“Loki,” he finally whispered.
“Loki,” Eija repeated. The name made her smile, although she wasn’t quite sure why it would. “It’s nice to meet you, Loki.”
She asked him more questions as the night went on—questions about his home, his family, his childhood memories. At first, he wouldn’t answer any of them. He’d just stare at her blankly as she posed her queries or whip his head away as if he couldn’t stand to be faced with the words.
So, she changed tactics. She told him about growing up on Knowhere, before Thanos found her, about how when she was not yet six years of age the man she had known as her father dumped her on the side of the road and flew away into permanent obscurity, and about how she taught herself how to reach into another’s pocket and pull out exactly what she was looking for by practicing on the other unsuspecting urchins who lived alongside her on the street. It was strange, to relieve those stories before an audience. Because he was an audience, like it or not. He was listening to every word she said, even more so, she suspected, than he wanted to let on.
When she left that morning, after Corvus came to take over for the day, her throat was so dry she could barely speak. It was a nice kind of dry, though. The Black Order never demanded her voice anyways, so it wasn’t a noticeable inconvenience.
It was worth it.
“You again,” Loki muttered when she slipped into the cell the following evening. “Eija.”
“Hey!” she exclaimed. “You remembered my name!”
“You talked a lot.” He blinked sleepily. “You had a nice voice.”
Eija stopped. She wasn’t certain she heard him incorrectly. “What?”
He yawned. “You had a nice voice.”
She felt a flush rising in her cheeks. It was quite possibly the kindest thing anyone had ever said to her, as ridiculous as it seemed. Eija doubted her siblings could even recognize the sound of her voice—if they did, it would have been to scold her for stepping so far out of line, certainly not to pay her a compliment.
“If you’d like,” she said eagerly, pulling the stool across the room so she could sit next to him. “I can tell you more stories?”
It became the part of the day Eija looked forward to most—the moments where she could talk for hours about anything she wanted, without the ever-present fear of her siblings’ mockery or the Mad Titan’s chastening. It felt … safe, in a way that she hadn’t felt safe before. Warm. She always felt so alone on this ship, wasting away whilst awaiting orders. There were points where even her own thoughts seemed to abandon her to the darkness.
But not here. Not with Loki.
He seemed to enjoy it as well. Of course, she held no illusions that he was quite literally a captive audience, but he listened. He remembered the things she said to him. On good days, he’d even ask her questions, add in thoughts and stories of his own.
“You said you don’t kill people,” he asked suddenly, on one such visit. “Did you mean that?”
Eija shifted uncomfortably. This had always been an awkward subject. “Yes,” she said. “I’m not an assassin. I don’t have the training.”
“What do you do here, then?”
She inhaled. “Steal things.”
“Steal things?” he repeated. “What kind of things?”
Eija shrugged. “Anything he wants,” she said. “Weapons, passkeys, precious gems—whatever.” She remembered that day, when Lord Thanos had taken her from the streets to his ship, what he had said as she devoured the soup his servant placed in front of her.
“I have more trained killers than I know what to do with,” he told her. “But perhaps I could use a sneak thief.”
Eija had agreed to everything he said— it wasn’t as if she was in any position to refuse him, and besides, anything had to be better than sleeping in a trash bin. And so, she became the Titan’s personal retriever, sneaking her way across the galaxy and returning with the treasures he coveted in her pockets. Her methods were straight and to the point. She was in and out before anyone even noticed her presence, and, unlike her adopted siblings, there wasn’t a trail of bodies left in her wake.
“But if your role is to steal things,” Loki asked. “Then what are you doing with me?”
Eija didn’t answer right away. Thanos had not ordered her to continue her night watch over the Jotun prisoner. He hadn’t said that she couldn’t, but she was fairly certain that he wouldn’t be pleased to find that she had. What was she doing here?
“I just like to talk to somebody, I guess,” she said. “Besides, somebody has to make sure you make it through the night.”
Although it became exceedingly clear with each passing day that such a task may be outside of her abilities. One night, she could hear his hacking all the way down the hall, rattling the walls as she rushed to his side. She found him sagging limply against his shackles, soaked in blood and sweat and goodness knows what else as he choked on his own breath.
Eija didn’t know what to do—she could only wipe the blood from his face and hold the bottle of water to his lips.
“What does he want from me?” he croaked, once he could finally speak. There were tears running down the creases of his face, although whether that was from emotion or pain Eija couldn’t be sure. “Why is he doing this to me?”
For once, she said nothing. She had no answer for him.
She tried asking Gamora once. It was no secret that the Zehoberei was Lord Thanos’ favorite—if he were to tell anyone his intentions for the prisoner, it would be her.
But the assassin gave her nothing. “He has a use in mind,” she said. “Don’t question him.”
“But,” Eija hesitated. “If that’s the case, why is he hurting him?” She gulped. “If he has a use for him, shouldn’t he be … using him?”
Gamora glared at her. “If he’s not strong enough to survive this, he’s not strong enough to do Thanos’ bidding.” Her tone lowered in warning. “Remember your place.”
Eija did remember her place. She was reminded of it with every passing moment—leashed to her lord’s beck and call, every day walking that delicate tightrope of anticipating his wishes without asserting herself too far in his eyes, living in fear of the day when the bottom finally fell through and he decided to unsheathe the blade at his waist.
Was this his plan for Loki as well? Torture him to death’s edge until it pleased him to make him yet another glorified slave? She thought of Loki, shackled to his chair, heaving and coughing up blood, sentenced to wither away until Thanos found use for him … for what? The mere crime of existence?
And here she was, letting it happen, watching as Thanos sucked the life out of him, simply using him as a receptacle to her own selfish need for attention.
She was just as awful.
But there was nothing she could do about it. Was there?
Unless …
The thought started as a hypothetical. Isn’t that how all treason began? A tiny what-if, buried under one’s daily worries? The hangers of the Sanctuary were hardly well-guarded. There was little reason to guard them, after all—few on this vessel had cause to sneak off of it, and those who did hadn’t the opportunity. And with the current position they had been holding the last few days, only a small way from the Krylor jump point, which could then take you down through one of the major galactical traffic-ways …
Stealing a ship would be almost too easy.
It wouldn’t work, she told herself as she stood amongst her siblings in Thanos’ court. The ship was one thing, the passenger was something else entirely. Loki’s chains were specifically designed by the Mad Titan to stifle the magic of that whom they held. They were the very definition of unbreakable. And the key—Thanos kept it on his person at all times, hooked to his belt alongside his blades. Any scheme was doomed to fail.
But sometimes, opportunities present themselves.
“And where are you going, child?”
Eija jumped out of her skin when she turned the corner and nearly collided with the lord himself. It took her a moment to find her voice.
“To watch over the prisoner, as you ordered, sir.”
He frowned. “That was weeks ago. You’re not still doing that now?”
She bit her tongue, so hard it hurt. “W-with all due respect sir, you never told me to stop.”
“Well, I’m telling you now. Such action is no longer necessary.”
“Yes sir.” She nodded. “Apologies, sir.”
Eija stood there shaking long after he had continued down the hall. Her heart felt as if it might pound its way out of her chest. He had to have noticed. In a moment, he’d come storming back up the corridor, grab her by her neck, and crush her skull against the wall.
But he never did.
It was just Eija, alone in the hallway, clutching the golden key between her trembling fingers.
There was little time. Her theft could only go overlooked for so long. She didn’t have the chance to question herself as she rushed to Loki’s cell—any moment spent in doubt was a moment wasted.
Loki seemed to be unconscious when she first arrived at his side, but he popped up with a start the moment she reached for his chains.
“What—" he gasped, eyes wild. “What’s happening?”
The key clicked in the lock. He heaved a breath, falling forward as the shackles fell open.
“You’re going home.” Eija’s mind was racing at a mile a minute. They couldn’t steal a Q-ship—it was too big; they’d would be noticed immediately … “Can you fly a pod?” she asked.
He gulped. “Possibly?”
“Good enough.” She pulled him to his feet. It was at this moment she became aware of the fact that she had only every seen him seated. Loki was tall. Much, much taller than her, and when he sagged against her it took all of her strength to keep him from tumbling to the metallic floor. For a moment she feared that he was too weak to even stand on his own and nearly panicked, because oh goodness how was she supposed to carry him all the way to the hanger—
But he managed to stabilize himself, gripping her shoulder so tightly that she lost feeling in it, but standing on his own. Slowly, she was able to walk him into the hallway.
The hanger was only a few floors above them, but the elevator ride felt like an eternity.
Don’t stop, don’t stop, don’t stop …
If it stopped before they reached their destination, they were both dead.
Besides her, Loki’s breathing was labored. He hadn’t said anything since she had come to get him.
She squeezed his forearm, hoping he couldn’t feel how she was trembling like a leaf. “You alright?”
He nodded weakly. “I assume you have a plan?”
“The pods are lined on the far wall of the hanger.” She inhaled. “When the door opens, we run like mad and get you on one. And then you take off for the jump point, and don’t stop until you’ve hit traffic.”
Loki turned to her, brow furrowed. “What about you?”
She raised her eyebrows. “Me?”
“Yes. Surely you’ll not stay here?”
Eija gulped. There wasn’t time to think about that now.
The elevator doors clicked open to reveal a thicket of barbed shadows and twisted metal. The hanger was lifeless and barren this time of night, lit only by the glow of the cosmos streaming in through the glass. They made their way in perfect silence, the only sound being the pounding of her heartbeat behind her eardrums. Every dark shape seemed like a waiting figure. Now, it was Eija that clung to him too tightly, terrified that at any moment someone would jump out and rip him from her grasp. By the time they reached their destination, they were both wildly out of breath.
The pods were small, thin one-man transports. Calling them ships was really being too generous. They weren’t really meant for long term travel, but they could work for a few jumps—long enough to get to civilized airspace, which was all he needed. She helped Loki into the compartment, careful to keep him from hitting his head on the low ceiling. This damn ship had caused him enough pain already.
He sighed, leaning against the seat in one short moment of rest before turning back to her. “You still haven’t said what you plan to do.”
Eija hesitated. What could she plan to do? She had nothing waiting for her beyond this ship. As with all of his children, Thanos held a piece of her that he would never relinquish, no matter how far she flew.
“I’ll stay here,” she murmured. “For now, at least. They might pick up on something if too much is out of place.”
“But—"
“Please,” Eija hissed. “You remember what I said, right? Take the Krylor jump, and just keep towards Xandar.” She inhaled so deeply it hurt, trying to bury the aching dread building in her chest. “Stay with the crowds whenever you can—he won’t bother with you if it means he has to go through heavy populations.”
Loki nodded, but she wasn’t certain he was listening. There was a sadness behind his eyes that seemed to pierce her very soul. He squeezed her hand, pressing her knuckles to his lips in the lightest of kisses.
“Thank you, Eija,” he whispered. “May fate be kind to you.”
The alarm went off some hours later, when morning dawned upon an empty cell. They came for her only minutes after. Eija hadn’t been certain of what she would do—would she scream when they broke down her door? Cry for help? Fight for her life? But as the Black Order filed into her room with their weapons drawn, Eija felt only an overwhelming calm. It was good that they were here. The longer they spent with her, the more of a chance Loki had of getting away.
She went with her adoptive siblings willingly.
They took her to the same tiny room where this had all begun, shackled her to the same chair she had watched over so diligently. Eija barely registered it.
Surely, Loki was hundreds of star systems away from here now.
Surely he was safe.
When the pain did come, it filled every fiber of her being, burning through her body as if she were nothing but dry kindling. Her vision bled white. Her screams ripped her throat raw.
They asked no questions. She was relieved for that at least, because her every coherent thought shattered to pieces long before it could reach her lips.
She understood now why Loki had cried for his mother. She would have too, had she a mother to cry for. Instead, she just cried.
Eija wasn’t certain how much time had passed before he arrived. It could have been hours, it could have been months, but at some point when she dragged her aching head to look up she found Lord Thanos staring down at her, the stony weight of disappointment heavy on his features.
Gamora stood next to him. She spared a glance at her former sister, softer, sadder, almost sympathetic, before she turned back to her father.
“Sir, the Jotun is out of tracking range. There’s nothing we can do at this point.”
Out of range.
Eija thought of Loki, raven hair streaming in the breeze behind him as he pulled himself out of the craft, safe on some green, luscious, faraway planet that the Black Order could never reach. She smiled, blood dripping from her lips.
Thanos’ expression remained immovable.
“Well, child,” he finally said, looking down at her as he caressed the glinting hilt at his waist. “Look upon this mess. See what you have done. Are you happy now?” He reached out with his other hand, tipping her chin up towards him with a single finger, as if the mere thought of touching her disgusted him. “You look happy.”
Eija felt a laugh tickle her throat. It came out as more of a cough, blood and bile staining her tongue. Still, she could not bring herself to stop smiling.
“I am happy, sir.”
It was true. A beautiful warmth flooded her aching chest. She laughed again, closing her eyes and letting the feeling wash over her.
She was still laughing when the blade severed her throat.

570 words written today...Sundays, you know.  Still working on the Loki, Frigga, and Farbauti altverse flashback; we’ve now moved onto me talking about Asgardian/Jotun concepts of fate and destiny, which means that they need to match up at least in concept with what the TVA makes possible, just framed very differently.  (The fun part is that the whole set point/tentpole event thing is, in fact, how I actually plot, but I just need to make sure I can phrase it in ways that make sense for all parties involved.)
Snippet from Morning altverse Loki flashback 1.
“Asgard has bad blood with Laufey.  It will do both of us good to have a fresh start with a new ruler.”
“With the woman who left my child to die on a frozen rock?” Frigga said, her voice hard, and Loki felt a muscle in his jaw jump again.
“It’s Jotunheim, Frigga, everything’s frozen,” Farbauti said. “And if I hadn’t left him to die, he wouldn’t be your child now, would he?  He would be mine.”
Frigga’s hands tightened as Loki said, “Tell me – tell me why.”  His voice broke on the second syllable and he had to start over.  “You owe me that much.”
“I owe you nothing,” Farbauti said.
“Then consider it a condition of any friendship between us.”  He practically spat the polite euphemism.
Farbauti put her head slightly to the side and said, “You really are Odin’s son, aren’t you?  You sound just like him.  You even look like him.”
“Yes, I’m aware, thank you,” Loki said through teeth clenched so tightly his jaw ached.  “I’ve been told that my entire life and I’d rather not think too much about it in case I start screaming.”
“Loki –” his mother began.
He shook his head. “It’s my face, Mother, it’s not worth thinking about too closely.”
