This is my first genderbent costume! I always loved Aizawa, but when Ms. Joke was introduced, my now-husband and I immediately agreed that they were the two of us, but personality swapped. I'm not sure who suggested we do the genderbent versions, but I'm thrilled with how they came out!

I didn't do too much for my Aizawa, actually... I kinda half-assed it, really. I bought a jump suit off Amazon, and used boots and a wig I already had. I made a belt with the weird "pouch" things he has?? Honestly, I would use real pouches next time, which I have now. I used thin furniture foam to make my scarf. It's just safety pinned in place. I would also love to make or buy his goggles for next time too!

For Mr. Joke though...! I used the CUT//Sew Ouji-sama pattern to make his shorts (which I extended into pants) from scratch; painted the fabric ahead of time with masking tape to guide me. For a guy, I feel like this style suited him more! I used the same masking technique on the gloves (base bought from We Love Colors) and I used a thicker furniture foam covered in thin EVA foam sheet for the bracers. I love, love, LOVE them, though they did come apart a little toward the end. Just needed more glue, since I rushed to finish for the con.

The "corset" (I've been calling it a cummerbund 😂) is mostly EVA as well. The smileys are separate EVA and the white belt is also layered, separate EVA. That said, the velcro came off pretty quickly. I have a new idea for how to affix it, but alas, live and learn. The little cloth bit is just glued in place.

Lastly, and most amusingly to me, his beard! I actually DON'T like how he looks without his beard (too baby-faced 😂) so I bought some chalk dye pens and just colored it in! His wig was bought off Amazon. His bandana is just the fabric as the pants sewn in a square. He wore plain black boots with it.

drew this for my gf as a little gift :) i’ve taken a small break from drawing due to exams, but i’m gonna get back to it now that they’re over. hence why i also started this acc! i thought i’d casually start posting art i think i did well on, maybe give reviews on various manga i own?? we’ll see what happens :b

i actually quite enjoy mha, but the fandom absolutely ruins it for me cause of the weird shippers (the people who refuses to ship male and female characters together just bc they want their fave character to be gay… looking at you dekuxbakugo shippers…) and certain cosplays (like the ones where they make todoroki pregnant… like what’s the need for that lmao). anyways, i really like these two together especially since they have opposite personalities to one another. kinda like the sunxmoon trope

I'M HYPED FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER. I'm really sad that Katsuki is still dead. He really doesn't deserve this, he just turned 17. No child deserves to die.

Tbh, I still believe that they're going to somehow get him back. I know people speculated that Kurogiri was the reason for Eri to be here, but I also believe she's here to bring back Katsuki. It's one of them, or even both, which would be awesome!

i originally had a design for this but my friend redrew and redesigned my costume and i think it looks fab and 10x better… so now i have about 3 months to sew this together for Tropicon i have a design, a sewing machine and the fabric but idk where to start and need to take the machine outta the box (its been in there since christmas guys) if i dont make it in time i will be TechnoBlade or Present Mic cause ill hopefully have their wigs by then (also aizawas is on the way too) but will still have to make stuff and ive got school ontop of this grrr god dammit
