Mini Astrology observations

*please note that these are my personal observations, not yet coming from a professional opinion*

❃ Most Virgo placements tend to be into music/art/digital art and will definitely have something related to stomach issues or issues regarding their health. Hence we see most people with these usually have a focus on their health (subject to change with the aspects involved in the chart).

❃ saturn/Capricorn placements have been through many lessons during their lifetime, especially their childhood. Most of them have had to grow early and take charge of their life, these lessons sometimes being harsh that it affects their mental health as well. They also work hard and learn to stand on their own feet early on but they struggle through a lot. Delays could've happened in their career but when they reached a quotient, they truly do shine when they have learned from the trauma and lessons.

❃ People with Venus in 12th/8th house, do sometimes attract partners who might have toxic traits around them and could be very insecure of their success or happiness. You will always have a strong intuition about this, but you might also excuse your persons/partner's behavior when you are w.r.t. underdeveloped.

---> As 12H is the house of hidden enemies, along with idealized standards of these individual, they truly have to learn to assert boundaries and learn to balance out a connection/relationship. As well as you might also have a strong intuition, knowing it might not end well or have a "feeling" That the connection might not work but would stick because of this love with the idealised side of the person. Astro observations about ✨synastry placements✨

4th house synastry placements = i've noticed that if romantic partners have a lot of planets in each others 4th houses or one partner has a stellium of planets in another partners 4th house, that can indicate very close relationship since the moment the two individuals met. They feel like they're with someone who's like family to them so it also might happen that some of their flaws and weaknesses are exposed at the beginning of the relationship. For example, it is not unusual that very early on one of them helps the other partner when they are sick, sleeps over, goes grocery shopping with them or cooks for them/with them. They also might cuddle a lot and have a hard time separating from one another when they are together (since 4th house synastry placements can indicate clinginess in the relationship). Talking about each other family situations, bonding over family trauma and discussing about their everyday routine is also most likely to happen early on in the relationship.

5th house synastry placements = these placements can indicate that the relationship between the two individuals is very amusing, fun and dynamic. These placements can sometimes indicate that there is some level of competitiveness between the partners. The partners also might enjoy playing different kinds of games together, trying out new things and being creative together. One persons Mars in another persons 5th house can indicate fun and creative sex life. One persons Moon in another persons 5th house can indicate that the Moon person feels very excited and joyful when they are around the house person.

Mars - Jupiter positive aspects in synastry = great and often sex, high sexual desire between the partners

One persons Venus in the other persons 3rd house = the house person loves to flirts with the Venus person and the Venus person is absolutely mesmerised with the way the house person expresses themselves. Good communication, good banter and discussing interesting topics is what characterises the relationship. + Mercury - Mercury positive aspects and one persons Mercury in another persons 1st house can also indicate amazing conversation that starts from the moment the two individuals meet. Moon - Mars tight aspects = be careful since these placements can indicate high fertility (it is even higher if there are 4th and 5th house placements in the synastry)

Chiron - Venus/Moon aspects = these relations between the Chiron and the planets can be very hurtful, it can indicate sometimes a toxic relationship

♂ Virgo Mars - It seems as though individuals with this placement are running off some sort of nervous energy. It is best if these types are kept busy. They feel a deep need to be productive and are constantly scrounging for something to do. Relaxing is not something that comes easy to them. Venus Aries is in detriment. Venus has a soft and calm energy, whereas Aries are often the opposite. They're not very romantic and/or affectionate people at all. If anything, they seem quite awkward with it. They want to show their love to others but don't seem to know how. Despite this though, they will still show their deep care and passion regardless.

E.g BTS Suga - he clearly loves the members, but he seems a bit awkward in how to initiate his affection. He likes holding hands (however seems very shy about it), dislikes arguing and will show affection to avoid it, and even wanted to get a red string tattoo with them.

As a Virgo Venus myself, I've been called cold and heartless since I am not very affectionate...Hugs, kisses, saying I love you, and all that is just not for me. One of my best friends has this and she's quite affectionate towards me. She's also an Aquarius dominant and Scorpio rising...Those 2 + a Cap venus is kind of surprising isn't it lol? She also thinks about having a partner, but her type of men seem to only exist in fiction lol

Aquarius Venus people may prefer to be friends first before becoming romantic. They definitely love platonic bonds though and may love to spend a lot of time with their friends and/or families. They want to be with unique, like minded people. They may like strange people, just like themselves. I honestly think they care the least about physical looks - we all care to a degree but for an Aquarius Venus, you really can not simply win them over with just looks alone. Definitely need to be an interesting individual, need to stick out to them. A lot of them may like to dress comfortably, may wear solid colors. Have their own sense of style that usually doesn't adhere to social standards. But still well put together

Venus is exalted in Pisces. The romantic and idealism of Venus is boosted even more in Pisces. Pisces are very dreamy and romantic for sure, very artsy and creative. I've noticed Pisces Venus are very warm and welcoming to everyone. They're empathetic and understanding people, sensitive. The downside is probably they can be a little too open and hopeful, need to be brought back to reality sometimes. Other than that, they're usually really sweet people.

hey, so. people on twt (ugh, I need to delete that account) started to compare Zuko and Azula’s relationship to Sokka and Katara. So, I jump in like “they are not comparable in any way” then people are like “Sokka and Katara do have issues even though it’s not the same as Zuko and Azula” (even though the original tweet did imply that but, whatever). and I’m all like “sure, they both have trauma from their upbringing and they fight like siblings and that trauma probably has effected their relationship but it’s still no way like it’s being compared… they love and care for one another” and then they’re coming back like “it’s not the same but they still have issues” and citing the southern raiders (which I have my own opinions about and I feel like people totally miss read that scene) but all in all to say; I’m annoyed because I feel like people are being disingenuous and I feel like your thoughts would be interesting

okay yeah obviously I don’t know what the full arguments were (and I never will because I loathe twitter. I mean X sorry) but i can definitely talk about this more generally. I mean they are the central sibling pairs configured in a similar way for obvious reasons. they are definitely comparable.

sokka and zuko have superficial similarities as older brothers who feel undervalued, struggle to live up to a harmful patriarchal standard of gender (specifically masculinity/manhood) as shaped by imperialism/colonialism/war and the expectations their fathers placed on them to “be a real man” within a very limited framework, and ultimately find their worth via other avenues beyond the limited scope of patriarchal imperialist logic. azula and katara have superficial similarities as younger sisters who are placed on a pedestal by their culture community, are the best benders of their respective elements and outclass all the older more established (male) masters who dismiss and look down on them for being teenage girls, and who feel a deep sense of grief due to the loss of their mothers that informs everything they do and fundamentally who they are as people. and then obviously the REAL foils who are foiling are katara and zuko, and sokka and azula. these pairs are each very obvious mirrors, both in terms of their personalities (as developed differently by their respective environments) and their arcs. zuko is fire nation katara. azula is fire nation sokka. so obviously their relationships are similar in this way. they are narratively constructed as parallels.

that said, I think the key primary difference between these sets of siblings is that zuko and azula are directly opposed due to being pitted against each other by ozai’s abuse, whereas sokka and katara are extremely codependent, to the point that sokka’s entire identity is shaped by his role as katara’s brother and protector. so if you read zuko as a foil to sokka (which he certainly somewhat is, but is not the primary foil to sokka) you’ll get confused because he doesn’t live for others and he doesn’t look out for azula at all. but azula, like sokka, does define her identity through her loyalty and her ability to best serve others, so she does try to help zuko as best she can, which is obviously hindered by the incredibly limited of scope of what she considers “helpful” (much in the same way that sokka’s protection of katara is often limited by his own narrow worldview and unhealthy sense of duty as it corresponds to his identity). azula wants zuko to be a “perfect prince” in the way that she is a “perfect princess” because she refuses to acknowledge how specifically harmful that paradigm is to both of them until it is too late. so her intentions are actually good (don’t @ me), but she’s just deeply misguided and her level of cognitive dissonance is off the charts generally (again, much like sokka).

meanwhile katara and zuko, despite loving their families a lot and feeling defined by their families in many ways, are still very self-focused. which isn’t to say that’s a bad thing or that they’re selfish (they are both defined by an incredibly passionate and outspoken sense of justice for others, of course), but rather that they understand that what they want is to further their own interests for their own benefit even as they are seeking justice for the entire world. (in katara’s worlds: “me. me, personally!”) but like. if anything, the fact that azula and sokka never think in terms of the ego but only in terms of servitude to the point that they are actually detached from their own humanity is deeply unhealthy and awful, which is why so much of sokka’s arc is about getting him to understand his intrinsic worth as a human being and the value of accepting help, and azula’s tragedy and downfall is precipitated by her acknowledgement that she has been deliberately isolated her entire life and now she is alone and utterly helpless.

I do see katara and zuko as quite heroic, inspiring characters, to azula and sokka’s quite tragic, heartbreaking characters (especially azula of course, but like. I don’t think sokka’s deep-seated, copious issues have somehow been magically resolved just because “the boiling rock” is his apotheosis. you get it). but katara was always the “valued” sibling whereas azula began as the valued sibling and zuko rose above her by disrupting/transcending the paradigm that valued her only to end up in the position that she felt teleologically entitled to (not to say that she thought she would become fire lord, but that he does become the most powerful player in the fire nation, at least in name). and a large part of that is the fact that katara and sokka grew up in extremely different conditions than azula and zuko did, even if both their worldviews are informed by imperialism and patriarchy in some way. so katara was valued as a sort of cultural artefact who represents the last hope of a dying people, whereas azula was valued as the obedient daughter of a powerful abusive patriarch. it’s still a way of ascribing “value,” but the criteria are completely different in both cases. which is why I still think that azula and sokka are functionally more similar, because even if azula is valued, it is with the expectation that she function in the same way that sokka is expected to function, as a depersonalized vessel for the good of their people.

so there are similarities for sure, but also those similarities are constantly being complicated through locating their respective cultural contexts as they informed their upbringing, psychologies, and sibling relationships. I will say that it’s true that both of these relationships are unhealthy (to an extent), and both sets of siblings parallel each other in very significant ways, but the ways in which their relationships are in fact “unhealthy” are nonetheless almost diametrically opposed.

Here moon is with rahu in 1st house. This creates emotional turbulence in her life. Cause rahu is a shadow planet and it weakens moon. Difficulties understanding her emotions and the emotions of those around her. A fragile mind with lots of highs and lows. Confusion on what to do and to think. On the flip side it gives her one magnificent imagination and impressive creative skills to the point of being a creative genius. She is well known to be extravagant and avant-garde with her fashion. She is a fashion icon for more than 20 years now. This is the quality Rahu gives her. Her sense of style is futuristic and people follow her advice on fashion.

She also has a child like quality to her personality. She is fun to be around but also easily manipulated by people closed to her especially her mother and family members. Actually she has never been away from her family for a long time enough to experience life except during a tv show called « Simple life ». It had changed her life for the better cause she had the opportunity to experience real life on her own with her best friend Nicole Richie (an ardra moon, rahu influence here again) without her family involved. I believe it helped her mature mentality and found a way to live which aligns with her true self and not with what her mother wanted her to be.

With ketu in her 7th house it shows paranoia, not knowing who she can really trust because after all she has karma to pay in the matters of 7th house. That’s why maybe she was so private about her first child. She wanted to protect her child the way she always wanted to be protected from the paparazzi. 7th house is the house of marriage, connections, partnerships and direct opponents. It’s also the house showing how others see us and view us. It’s also the traits we gotta embody to win against direct enemies.

This house is in Capricorn and Venus gives support. She had bad experiences in relationships and usually it was her boyfriends who were degrading her image. She had the wrong mindset at first when it came to relationships that’s why it happened. She wanted her boyfriends to be part of her life too much and also be a celebrity like her.

Actually she was supposed to create a distance with them and not showcase her love stories that much. Ketu was asking her to lay low in relationships and she did the opposite. And when someone is not obeying Ketu there are consequences.

Ketu is detachment of the physical plane, of the material and mundane life, it’s a love of spirituality, combined with Venus it gives the energy of detachment within a relationship, having a humble and simple partner who doesn’t overdo anything nor overdress, a simple citizen with a good heart. A lot of those qualities are the qualities of her current husband and opposite those of her ex-boyfriends.

She has come a long way and now she is mature. Why now ? Because Ketu and Rahu are mature after 42 and she is 42 years old. For someone like her, she is finally living her life with less drama and inner peace. I love that for her. She seems also more healthy and she clearly healed herself and her traumas.

This contributed to her never experiencing a normal childhood and being burdened with an excessive amount of responsibility at a very young age. Her struggles and troubles were evident to the public (the 10th house). The 10th house looks at the 4th house where her Saturn lies the planet of restriction, lessons and struggles in the 4th house the house of home family and the mother which offers insight into her home life and parents. Unfortunately, marilyn’s mother was mentally unstable and struggled with alcoholism, leading to her being institutionalized and unable to provide a stable home environment for Marilyn. As a result, Marilyn never felt safe in her home and lacked a consistent parental figure to rely on. Finally, Pluto in the 12th house, Pluto is the planet of transformation, destruction and rebirth, having this intense planet in this house was really difficult for her she struggled with her mental health all her life this Pluto placement in the 12th house indicated that she had to be put in a foster care because she had no one to take care of her. She had to bear an unreasonable amount of responsibility from a very young age.

Neptune conjuncts her ascendant— Lilith in the 1st house

This placement could help explain the public’s obsession with her and could be a driving factor behind the media’s portrayal of her as nothing but a beauty queen/sex symbol, often neglecting other qualities and talents. Since Neptune could indicate illusion, it’s possible that the way people idolized Marilyn was more based on a fantasy and imagination than reality— merely a projection of her but not the real her. Unfortunately, this skewed depiction of her is the cause of the public’s objectification of her which was deeply dehumanizing and debilitating for her mental health. Lilith in the 1st house might have felt to her like that her deepest wounds, insecurities and shame were crystal clear to her and were things that she might have been aware of constantly all the while being unmercifully sexualized by the media. She is naturally alluring that is what these placements essentially convey.

Mars in pisces

This particular placement is another placement that furthermore made the media and the public objectify her. The Piscean influence in her chart highlights certain characteristics such as a tendency to repress anger which may led to her depression as reported by the close people around her that she would stay in bed & eat, that she wouldn’t shower for days and that her bed would contain food crumbs from all the times she ate on her bed without having the physical and mental strength to clean the room due to her depression. She had a perceived sense of victimhood she felt defeated by the media and the terrors of her past haunting her. Another angle of the illusion that this Piscean placement shows is people’s perception of her, the way they viewed her as a sex symbol despite her stating that she hates sex.

Moon square Saturn

Having her moon in the 7th house squaring her Saturn in the 4th house shows how she tried to fill the void that was caused by her early childhood traumas by clinging onto the men that she was involved with. She might have looked for love in those men but also for her identity. She was an intelligent woman and she was enamored by her husband Arthur Miller who was a playwright who happened to be the first man in her life to validate her intelligence and took her and her hunger for knowledge seriously. Another man who happened to meet her and spend time with her stated that her whole life was a search for identity and that her sexual persona was a complete lie.

The Lonely End of Belos

Or why Hunter, Caleb, Evelyn, Lilith, Collector, or anyone that Belos personally wronged didn't get to be the witness to his demise.

I admit, I was a bit unsatisfied with Belos' demise. After all the build up with Caleb hallucinations and Grimwalker bones, I thought he would fall into the graveyard pit, see the ghosts, and realizing all too late it's his fault before he melts into a pile of bones.

Prior to that, before Thanks to Them, I speculated on Belos' fate would be him being hunted down by an angry mob of humans led by Jacob Hopkins believing him to be some kind of cryptid monster either threatening the town... or offer a rare opportunity to get rich on the news. And then he falls apart like an animal.

And when Watching and Dreaming trailer hinted at Belos possessing the Titan, I wondered how they were going to defeat Belos without resorting to revenge or poetic irony (since Belos is this big final boss that the heroes would blow up like with the core). I thought perhaps they would turn Belos into a Palisman tree and make him give back all the Palisman he devoured in a twisted form of redemption. Perhaps they'll remind him of his past and start a mental collapse that causes him to lose control of the Titan as he sees images of Caleb. I was pretty sure Caleb would show up just before Belos dies, giving him the realization that he's damned.

But his actual demise... feels empty. He did fall apart as I expected and there's sense of loneliness in his demise, but... no Caleb. No Evelyn. Nothing hinting to his past. Heck, I don't think the name Philip is even brought up once. It feels like we've been cheated out of a cathartic demise, and I spent the hours since the special aired trying to make sense of this choice and why. Why is there no Wittebane lore.

And ultimately, I make this conclusion:

Belos refused to open up about his past. It's quite telling the Collector spilled everything of his Freudian Excuse from being bullied by the Archivists to being wrongfully imprisoned by King's Dad to his desire for friends and being accepted. Him opening up communications of his insecurities allowed Luz, Eda, and King to empathize and help him. To teach him kindness and forgiveness. To teach him the value of life through death. And through their teachings does the Collector become better and ultimately redeemed.

But Belos? We know he had a traumatic past and a lot of insecurities with his brother. We know he's a lot like Luz and the Collector when he was a child. But unlike them, he never opened up about his insecurities. He forcibly molds them into abstract ideas and rules. For the greater good of humanity. For the good of your souls. He always tries to make it non personal, thinking it makes him selfless and pure.

But what he ends up creating is a caricature of himself. A shallow representation of his former human life. The Hollow Mind portraits released this week on Twitter shows tragedy with the happy memories being free of scratches and burns. Those were the original looks. But in the actual episodes, even the happy memories were scarred and burned. As Understanding Willow reveals, if you burn the memory pictures, you essentially erase them from existence. This means that Belos barely remembers his past. Now that I think about it, Belos never actually used the word brother at any point. Just an old friend. At first, I thought he was trying to avoid triggering trauma memories regarding Caleb's murder, but now I wonder... did he actually forget Caleb was his brother?

Because if he did, then it explains why he never seem to make the connection that Eda and Lilith may in fact be the descendants of Evelyn and Caleb. He only remembers Evelyn's first name but can't remember her face or anything that would link her to the Clawthrones.

And then it hits me. Despite being the big main antagonist of the series... Belos has only one personal connection to our main trio: Luz the Human. Eda, he dismisses her as an Owl Lady outlaw who isn't important in the grand scheme of thing. And King, he thinks it's a weird dog demon, not a baby Titan. But Luz, he's obsessed with because A) she would help him learn the Light Glyph and find the Collector and B) she's the first human he has seen in centuries.

Thus, it is Luz that Belos focuses on the most. It's Luz that Belos wants to form an actual connection since Caleb's death. And when you think about those witnessed Belos' demise... Luz is the only one that Belos has any genuine interactions with. Eda, King, and Raine... they were all background pawns or obstacles, not even worth specializing personal grudges towards like he would with Lilith, Hunter, Evelyn, or even Caleb.

So in spirit, Luz is the last lifeline for redemption and forgiveness. And Belos blew it. He was so obessed with Luz due to her human status but he never gave anything about his past to her (Luz only got Belos' backstory from Masha). He assumes that being human alone is sufficient enough for speaking terms. And he choose the best looking human look for her: A non-broken nose Philip Wittebane. Just as how she saw him in Elsewhere and Elsewhen. The ideal adventurer and hero of the 17th century. He evidently forgot that this bearded Phillip destroyed Luz's respect for him. This Philip lied to her and betrayed her and Lilith. This Philip was not the hero Luz envisioned. After all, the Philip she idolized in the diaries was clean shaven. He could have chosen that form... if he actually remembers that.

And then he sloppily try to make himself sound like he's freed from a curse, sloppily using the term dark magic instead of wild magic, and taking great pains to even say that he did horrible things, even under the excuse of a curse. He has no idea on how to make himself relatable when it's all there within him deep down. He just uses the surface-deep level of relatability and Luz doesn't buy it. And the boiling rain melts away that skin deep humanity, revealing a rotting ghoul barely clinging onto life, screaming of how witches are evil and unforgivable as he crawls to Luz. Notably, he still doesn't give a reason as to why he thinks they're all evil. We all know what it likely is, but Belos never confirms it to Luz.

Belos is virtually on autopilot, repeating the mantra of humans are superior and witches are evil. He never speaks about how Caleb was "stolen" from him by a witch. He never speaks about how Gravesfield taught that witches are evil. His memories almost completely erased by his self-inflicted denial, all he can think of is wiping out witches and saving humanity. A caricature of his former self.

And by failing to swayed Luz, he's completely alone. There is no Caleb now. No Evelyn. No Hunter. No Lilith. No Grimwalkers. No Flapjack. Just Luz whose connection he tries to forge is now a shallow parody because of how much he doesn't understand her at all. But she wouldn't kill him since that would give him a known company at his last moment. Instead he meets his end by those that he doesn't even see as personally important beyond pawns. Though they have a lot of personal grudges against the former Emperor and tyrant, Belos only sees strangers at the end of in his long life.

Philip Wittebane is nothing more than a faded memory of a bygone era. He died with his brother Caleb, regulated to just folklore ghost stories told in Halloween of Gravesfield. To some, they may never really exist in the first place since 1613 is a very long time.

The creature that resembles Philip is just Belos and he is little more but a parody of a man, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
