You grin;used to his antics and not taking offense. Zoro is just so easy to tease,that you find yourself always annoying the hell out of him.

You start drinking and looking around the bar;its mainly empty except a small group of marines sitting in the far corner. They're young,and when you look at them,you see one of them is already starting back at you.

In fear of getting recognized and having to fight or run,you immediately turn back and stare down at your drink. And apparently,the guy staring at you takes that as an act of shyness and invitation.

"hey there," and when a smooth voice greets you from your other side,you raise your head and smile nervously at the young Marine man.

Act cool. Please dont notice we're pirates. Smile,and greet him politely.

"hello," you say as you fidget in your sit, "how,uh,how may i help you?"

The Marine raises to his full height,and his stare hardens, "and who the hell are you?"

The guy doesnt have time to react before suddenly,in a high speed that gives you whiplash ,slams the head of the marine to the counter.

The sickening sound of bone cracking twists your stomach,but the look on Zoro's face is much more terrifying.

The bar suddenly grows quiet,and when you rush to Zoro's side to grab his hand, suddenly the Marines are running after you two.

Zoro is not a man to runaway from any fights,so he stops to fight ten times harder than the marines. He manages to knock out three more (maybe even killed them?!you didnt stop to check.) Before you grab his hand and particularly yank him toward the exit.

You two run as fast as you can,before ducking in some alley. You peek from the corner of the wall and when see no more Marines in sight,you let out a sigh of relief and turn around toward the very cool Zoro and frown at him.

"was that really necessary? You know we cant get recognized!!"

"do you think i really care about that?" He walks closer, forcing your back to hit the wall behind you "he was hitting on you. He's lucky I didn't kill him."

You only stare at the man in front of you, noting how tense his whole body seems.

You stomach flutters with so much love and adoration for him that has you weak in knees.

So before Zoro can talk more,you pull him down by his collar and press your lips to his.

The kiss becomes heated fairly quick;as Zoro presses you up against the wall even more and this hands wonder around your hips and your own carding through his hair. You dont know how much time has past,not until you have to pull away from lack of oxygen.

He presses his forehead against yours as you both try to regain your normal breathing.

"so," you say as you can breath normally once again, "are you still jealous?"

And from the scowl he wears, you're sure he still is.

Back To School Shopping List for A College Freshman Art Student

Hi guys I went to RISD a few years back but I do remember looking up this question. if you're not going to college just yet but are interested in art, it could be super useful to get comfortable using the tools/mediums below. even though i know most teachers give a materials list the first day, i needed to be prepared way ahead of time because of my anxiety. in my case, i was told id get a list in person, but walking in with an empty bag just felt wrong to me lol??? i ended up bringing a couple things, but missed a few vital essentials so here's a list of everything that i can think of. read to the end for my wagon epiphany that i think all art students should adopt (if they havent already)

-a notebook or planner (lined). some professors will hit you with extremely important info right away and wont always tell you to write down what they're saying but 90% of the time its important stuff you dont wanna miss

-a sketchbook. this can help if they throw a quick exercise at you and you have to write/draw something quickly. i blanked and didnt bring a sketchbook from home (because i was told id need to get certain types according to the teacher's specifications) but looking back idk why i didnt?? first days are hectic. actually the first week lol. anyways there were single sheets offered but honestly having your own right off the bat helps for organizational purposes, saves time, and IF YOU'RE LIKE ME, prevents the need to get up in front of everyone

-writing utensils. I'd recommend a nice pen and a set of drawing pencils (doesn't have to be anything crazy cause your teacher will most likely request that you buy more advanced/specific tools later on)

-headphones. every teacher is different, but usually art students will be given little tasks to work on during their first day in class at college. I was not clever enough to remember to pack my headphones, and the silence in a room full of focused art students can be especially unnerving when you're nervous. Hearing a student's questionable music taste can be equally unnerving, so make sure to pack those.

-snacks/drinks. this is kind of a branch off of the last one, cause again it can get sooooo quiet in these classrooms/studios. Pack snacks to prevent belly grumbles. I have heard it happen to many people in my classes and i am a victim as well. stay ready

-sunglasses. seems trivial but super important because you'll probably be walking around outside a lot your first day. this is the typical college commute, up down and around the streets.

-MONEY. I AM GOING TO PUT THIS IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE THIS WAS BY FAR MY BIGGEST MISTAKE LOL. UNFORTUNATELY, STAY STRAPPED WITH CASH OR CARD BCUZ! SOME OF THOSE ART SCHOOL PROFESSORS ARE A LIL BOUJEE AND WILL SEND U RIGHT TO THE CAMPUS ART STORE DAY ONE. It was very overwhelming for me, and some might think its common sense but idk my entire school career you always get some time after school to buy that stuff. they really sent us shopping ten minutes into class so be aware or look broke like i did.

Other than that, all the stuff you'll have to potentially purchase that day will be specified by the teacher. If you're worried about getting the wrong thing, don't be. The students get to go together and the teacher gives very specific details about the products to buy, which the campus store workers are well aware of. Off the top of my head, i remember being sent to get materials for a few different classes throughout the day. I'll list them here without the brand specifics (1. cause i dont know and 2. cause it may not match what your teacher will want anyway) just to give you a general idea.

-large ruler, metal, 1 yard (3 ft)

-clear plastic t-shaped ruler for drawing

-sketchbooks, drawing pads (of all sizes)

-a large portfolio (looks like a gigantic black totebag for big art papers)

-sewing kit

-string

-muslin fabric

-ink pens

-drawing pencils, different sizes

-drawing charcoal

-white paper drawing blender, a good eraser

-a toolbox for the drawing materials

-gouache paint

-brushes, pallets

-oil paint crayons

-a tool box

-ink pens like harry potter

That's pretty much it. If you'd like to grab some of these things before hand it should be fine, but for the most part id stick to waiting just to be safe.

Also a side note: I was a commuter so i could run home and grab my materials collected over my entire life but not every student is this lucky and some of their homes are thousands of miles away. if ur a traveling bird like them, it could be very VERY useful to pack some cool materials and tools like idk holographic paper or a jar of crystals because CAMPUS ART STORES ARE VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!

Also....... i know it sounds a little ridiculous but there were many many times i wished i had bought a wagon to transport things around campus. imagine me with a like 4ft portfolio bag the size of my body, a pencil toolbox, another toolbox for actual tools, my backpack, any projects i may have brought, a coffee if i am holding one??? and god forbid its a rainy day and i needed my umbrella lol.. it looks & feels difficult anyway trying to lug all the stuff art school requires.. so thats just some food for thought. Imagine a cute pink wagon?!??

Weeks go by but neither Br nor C have talked to each other. N & Ct noticed but stayed out off her affair. Which was hard for her dad to but he follwed his wife's reasonings for the meantime.

E couldnt care less. Not just bc he didn't like Br's attitude forwards him, once C complained about that day, but also bc the lawsuit over the attempted theft of his project was approaching.

S knew about the situation as well, while Br's parents were kept in the dark. S was contemplating on telling N but she though that both their kids let them in on it.

Se's bday was getting closer and S asked C & Ll to help with the planing. Normally E would have done it but his time was occupied with his work.

C complied, while the sea-colored tiger was excitedly sitting on the teen's shoulder. S took care of the guest list, C had to help with music and place of the celebration. Ll took care of the security and anything food related.

She took care of it by ordering a catering service online, and sent some guards on duty per message. C thought of some places they could host at, but the spot he ultimately picked was the beach. The weather was supposedly nice on that day and there is a ton of room for kids to run around and they even had some floaty slides available.

Se likes to swim so he had no doubt that his lil brother would like it. S, meanwhile took some ppl from her friends group (including J & N), the kids her youngest made over time, and as for E's request, some partners he worked with that had kids of their own.

S talked about it with E, that Se might not want (some) of them to be at his big day. But to amount of asking he would agree. Those kids' parents were very close to his firm so they cant be left out. (Classic CEO behavior)

C eventually came inside the kitchen, where S was writing down thw guest list. C asked to see the names after some small talk. S handed him the list, and the further he read the more confused he got. The top of the list had the names of his friends he made in the park and watched Grave gem with, N & J were soon to follow, some more of their parent's friends, till he stopped at some familiar names.

At first he was unsure where he heard those names b4 until S answered him, knowing what his expression meant: „Your dad wanted us to invite them. I know Se doesn't like Their kids, but your dad wont let up.”

this ones pretty close to canon and its the one i draw/reference most often. there are minor changes to events in the show (ex. chrysalis gets reformed, starswirl becomes a villain, etc) but its basically the same, especially when it comes to the actual characters! not much to say about this one! pinkie and twilight get married sometime before the finale

2. starryverse au

my most cherished au... i could go on forever about this one!! this au is a “reboot” type thing— all the characters have new names, different designs, and altered personalities and roles. twilight twinkle is a pony created by princess solstice out of pure magic (although twilight doesnt know that). i would write many essays about this if i could so ill Not do that right now... twilight twinkle is very eager to make friends but is pretty bad at it. rose quartz pie (aka rosie pie) becomes her first friend and from then on, twilight has a silly puppy love crush on her that eventually becomes mutual love. rosie pie is an energetic and empathetic baker who specializes in baking party treats.

3. swap au

all the mane 6 ponies are different types of ponies now! ta daaaaa! twilight is an earth pony specializing in potion magic, and pinkie is a party planner who has REALLY weak magic when it comes to anything but chaos and parties. fluttershy is a super strong earth pony who is kind of afraid of her own strength—however, it gives her an advantage when dealing with large or dangerous animals. rainbow dash is a unicorn with the dream of becoming the first-ever unicorn wonderbolt, using her special magic that allows her to run on air. rarity is a pegasus who loves making artistic weather patterns, though these arent always very effective at... weather. she also makes beautiful aerodynamic clothing. applejack is also a pegasus, and feels out of place among her earth pony family. (the secret twist is that her mom was a pegasus! wowww!) she makes special apple treats made from the best apples at the top of the trees, which only she can reach.

4. ascension au

in this au, all of the mane 6 become alicorns and live together and love each other forever and ever YAY

5. time travel au

in this au, twilight accidentally travelled back in time as a teenager to a time before luna was corrupted by nightmare moon. she didnt know about luna, as she was kept a secret by celestia in the present. she and luna fell in love, and had twilight stayed, luna probably wouldnt have become corrupted, since she wouldve had someone who appreciated and believed in her. however, twilight was eventually transported back to the present, thanks to her family finding a spell to bring her back. after learning ehat eventually happened to luna, twilight began trying to create a spell that would free her from the moon. in this au twilight would temporarily be a “villain”

6. basically just canon

in this universe pretty much nothing from canon is changed besides designs. the only thing changed is that instead of “spreading the word of the storm kings defeat” (lol?? thats what magic is for) tempest becomes twilights personal guard. (seriously, why do all the other princesses get guards?)

7. starlight glimmer fucking dies au

ok kidding she doesnt die she just never gets redeemed... instead the “seventh mane 6 member” is luna! after lunas return, she is sent to live in ponyville (because, like, theres NO way she was ready to just. rule equestria) luna is super powered down, out of fear that she could become corrupted again. some of her power is stored in the moon pendant she wears, in case she needs it in an emergency! luna becomes great friends with all of the main characters... i have ideas on how she’d get along with each one heheh! but her dearest friend is twilight sparkle... they just understand each other in a way nopony else can!

david isn’t too fond of the idea of having a child in his gang. he doesn’t mind kids...unless they’re living with him. he doesn’t know the first thing about taking care of a child, so when laddie came around he let the other boys take responsibility of the little guy. that was until laddie told the group that he had an older sister, and he wanted her to join the group. he expected you to be young like laddie, but instead you were older...and beautiful.

out of all the boys david would be the least likely one to ask laddie for permission to date you. what’s the little pipsquaek gonna do about it? david thinks if laddie doesn’t like the relationship then too bad. unless david is mistreating you (which he wouldn’t obviously) then laddie would have no problem with your relationship. the only problem he does have is laddie doesn’t want david to take up all of your time. sometimes laddie wants brother and sister bonding time, and he doesn’t want david around for that.

laddie has never caught you two “in the act”. the only time he ever walked in on you two was during a heated makeout session. laddie came in the room for his teddy bear and well his eyes widened when he saw david on top of you. he didn’t know what to say so he just left the room really embarrassed and closed the door behind him. unfortunately, laddie told paul about what happened and it became a thing you and david got teased for. 

david doesn’t like to be bothered when he’s around you. especially when he wants to be alone with you, but sometimes laddie wants to be alone with his big sister too. david won’t bother arguing with laddie because he knows you’ll shut it down immediately, and even though laddie can be a pain in his butt the little kid is still related to you so david’s gotta show some respect. 9/10 times they’ll both have to spend time with you at the same time, so there really is no winner. the 1/10 times are when david uses mind tricks to get laddie away or he’ll bribe the kid with a new toy. 

the good thing about dating david and being laddie’s older sister is it gives them both a chance to get to know each other better. they’ve never really had one on one time together since laddie spends most of his time with dwayne, paul, or star. it’s not that they don’t like each other, they just don’t know each other. laddie has always been intimidated by david, so they never really had a one on one conversation. 

they probably won’t have a really close relationship, but it’d be better than before. to the point where laddie is comfortable with your relationship with david. he trusts that david is a good boyfriend, and won’t hurt you in any way. since laddie is little he can’t exactly tell david “break her heart and i’ll break your face”, but if he ever would break your heart laddie would loose all respect he had for david. 

Dwayne

it’s not hard to notice that dwayne is pretty good with children. when laddie was turned he took the little guy under his wing, and made sure he stayed out of trouble. he was the older brother that anyone around laddie’s age would want. it was a complete surprise to dwayne when laddie told him that he had an older sister. dwayne didnt mind the idea of having another female in the group. of course he expected you to be young, so he was in for a big surprise.

when dwayne saw you he immediately knew you were the one for him. the only issue was you were laddie’s sister, and dwayne didn’t know how the kid would feel about it. since dwayne didn’t want to loose the friendship he had with laddie he decided to ask the boy to see how he’d feel about it. laddie didn’t have a problem with it as long as dwayne would be respectful towards you. soon enough, you and dwayne started a relationship.

dwayne’s worst nightmare would be if laddie would walk in on you two. it’s never happened, but it almost did. you two were about to do the deed when laddie walked into the room to ask you something. when you guys heard the door open dwayne immediately jumped off of you, and you tried to act like you were doing something. luckily laddie didn’t suspect a thing and left the room once he was done talking to you. now dwayne doesn’t try to do anything with you unless you’re alone with him. he doesn’t want to risk that happening again.

there are times when dwayne wants alone time with you, but he doesn’t know how to tell laddie to go away without sounding rude. if laddie wants to spend time with you then dwayne will let him. he understands that families need to spend time with one another. if dwayne really wants to spend time with you alone then he’ll make some agreement with laddie. for example, he’ll have to take the kid to get ice cream every day for a week, and he’ll get to spend time with you alone for the week too.

there is only one problem about your relationship with dwayne that usually ends up in an argument. laddie always rides on the back of dwayne’s motorcycle, but now he can’t. laddie doesn’t like riding with anyone but dwayne because the other guys can drive a bit recklessly. dwayne doesn’t really know how to fix the problem because he doesn’t want you to ride with any of the other boys, but at the same time he doesn’t want to hurt laddie’s feelings. dwayne’ll hate it but the only way to work the problem out is for you and laddie to take turns. he gets a little jealous when you ride with one of the boys but he won’t show it.

overall, laddie likes your relationship with dwayne. he trusts that dwayne won’t do anything to hurt you. dwayne and laddie’s relationship didn’t really change. they were close before and they still were. dwayne still took care of laddie and occasionally brought him on a couple of your dates, but usually he’d get bored of all the romance and he’d leave to go hang out with the others. even though laddie is small he will still look out for you, and he’ll make sure dwayne never breaks your heart.

Paul

paul is pretty good with kids, but in his own way. young kids mainly like him because paul lets them do whatever they want. so when paul met laddie he became the not a very good influence kind of older brother. but they were close. like dwayne, paul took care of laddie when he first turned, and he showed the boy all his records (that he stole). when laddie told the group that he had a sister paul was pretty excited to meet you. when that opportunity came he was taken back on how gorgeous you were.

the minute paul saw you he wanted you, and he had a list of pickup lines ready. paul didn’t ask laddie for permission mainly because he doesn’t ask anybody for permission. if paul wants something he’s gonna go after it, and in this case it was you. laddie noticed what paul was doing right away. he might be young, but he’s not dumb. laddie cringed at every pickup line paul gave to you, and he was shocked when you agreed to go on the date with paul. he loves paul, but he kinda wished you said no.

laddie knows how paul is. he knows that paul sleeps around with a couple girls a week, and he didn’t want you to be next. he tried to talk to paul about it, but now paul was with you all the time! and he couldn’t talk to you because you were with paul all the time. it was stressful for laddie because he didn’t want paul to leave you for another girl. he finally got an opportunity to get paul alone when you were asleep. laddie told paul in the best way possible to not hurt you. paul just smiled like he always does and said “don’t worry about it bud. I dont wanna hurt her, I wanna keep her!”

luckily throughout your relationship with paul, laddie has never walked in on you two when he shouldn’t have. that’d be embarrassing for you, and it’ll probably traumatize laddie for life. you may think that laddie doesn’t know what you and paul do when you’re alone but ohh he does. he kinda wishes he didn’t. since you and laddie’s parents are absent, dwayne and paul gave laddie “the talk”. let’s just say paul is the worst teacher on the birds and the bees. laddie tries to forget that even happened.

a problem that does occur is paul is very needy for attention, and so is laddie. paul acts like a needy child when he wants attention, and laddie technically is a needy child. paul doesn’t like sharing, but he’s going to have to. he didn’t like it at first but he didn’t mind it after a while. if laddie wanted to be with you alone then paul would figure out how to entertain himself until he could hang out with you again. he forgot that family time is important since he hasn’t seen his family in decades, but he understands now that it’s important for you and laddie to have a good relationship.

your relationship with paul didn’t cause many changes to laddie and paul’s friendship. it only made laddie worry for some time, but then it was all okay. laddie doesn’t worry about paul breaking your heart anymore. he does worry that paul will say something stupid that’ll make you mad, but let’s be honest paul always says something stupid. as long as paul is a loyal boyfriend to you then laddie was nothing to worry about.

Marko

marko and laddie are friends, but they aren’t close. there is no beef between the two, they just don’t have much in common. marko likes to cause trouble while laddie is usually with dwayne or star staying out of trouble. the only time they got to know each other a little bit was when marko introduced laddie to his army of piegons, but since he couldn’t hold or play with them much he lost interest in the birds pretty fast. so when laddie told the group that he had a sister, marko didn’t think too much of it. that was until he laid eyes on you for the first time.

marko thought you were the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. why couldn’t laddie bring you to the cave sooner? the second he had the opportunity to get to know you he took it. he decided to be respectful and not immediately flirt with you. he started a conversation and eventually asked if you would like a tour of the boardwalk. when you accepted marko took you for a walk and bought you ice cream. marko kind of forgot that you were laddie’s sister, and he just asked you out on a date without even thinking about asking laddie first.

laddie didn’t know marko well enough to know if marko would be a loyal boyfriend. he didn’t even know you were dating him until he noticed you leaving the cave with him almost every night. he wasn’t upset that it was marko, but he wished that he got some sort of a heads up. when laddie did see you and marko together he realized that you really loved him, and he loved you too. that gave laddie some relief. at least he knows that marko cares about you.

laddie has never walked in on you and marko, but he has been kicked out of your bedroom when marko wants to be alone with you. usually it’s because marko wants to cuddle or he just wants some attention. laddie of course doesn’t think that. if he thinks what’s happening is going to happen then he’ll gladly leave. he doesn’t wanna stay and watch. marko will never tell laddie to leave the room. you’re the one that tells him because you can just tell by the look on marko’s face when he wants alone time with you.

surprisingly, they never fight over who gets your attention and who doesn’t. if laddie wants your attention then marko will let the kid have his way. marko knows that a lot of siblings don’t get along, so he wants you to have a good relationship with laddie. he’s a pretty patient guy, so he’ll want till laddie falls asleep and then he’ll get some alone time with you. but of course there are times when marko demands cuddles because he had a bad day or something, and those are the days laddie gets kicked out of the room.

since you and marko are very close that meant marko and laddie spent more time together then they used to. marko thought as long as he was dating you then he should probably get to know laddie a little more since he was your brother. it all started when marko bought laddie an ice cream along with one for you. laddie is pretty easy to gain trust of, so after a couple ice creams laddie already liked marko a little more. as time went by marko became another brotherly figure to laddie. not as close as dwayne or paul, but closer than it was before.

2nd part than.

8: (This ones longgggg) Their rooms all have the same beige (like brown mushroom color) walls and floors. As their not allowed to change that. But Watson has some bookshelves in his room along with a old adventurer cape that goes in front of his body and hangs to his ankles (Item-Ya Adventurer Cape is a perfect example. Idk the actual name for the kind of cape it is), some display cases featuring his strongest bows and arrows, along with a sword and axe, along with pictures of the group toghere and pictures from his travels on the walls, he has a single lone desk that is only used when designing new bows or arrows. Ran also has bookshelves, but his is bigger and takes up a whole wall, he also as a winter cape with fur on its shoulders hung up (he lived in a snow biome for a little while and made the cape himself), along with a single weapon case that features a lone damaged neitherite sword, he also has chests stacked along a wall filled with random stuff that he sometimes gives as gifts or uses to throw at people. Jackie has a few paintings and posters in his room, along with the only carpet in any bedroom (that he totally didnt steal from Grievous), a panting easel, he has a single display case in his room that displays the sword Porkius gave him for winning, theres also pictures of the group toghere and a small chest next to his bed filled with things that belongs to someone in the group. Grievous has a small bookshelf (one book is a naming book Watson jokingly gave him), a chest filled to the brim with blankets and pillows (cause for him comfort is a necessity), he also has a desk that he tends to fall asleep at when doing literally anything on it. Everyone also has a good sized wardrobe somewhere in their room that is filled with different outfits and w statue stands with either iron armour or empty. There is also a four-way-bunkbed in the living room/area, they typically use it when someone is having or had a very bad day and needs comfort, or when Jackie's separation anxiety is bad and needs to sleep with everyone nearby. 

Ran loves reading and sometimes gets mad when someone intrupts his reading. Watson loves designing new bows and arrows and just designing weapons in general (Grievous does too and helps him sometimes). Jackie likes to paint and has a interest in adventuring one day. They are well known but only in Subbin and surrounding cities. Though word does travel about them at times which can bring people to Subbin. They have 2 titles actually! First is used in typical matches, while the second is used in more formal or serious matches (like those for general). Ran: The Enderman, Partikel Tari (Dancing Particles, referencing how when he fights when serious its like he's dancing as he teleports around the field). Watson: The Archer, Multi (Referencing how he has more experience than anyone in the use of all kinds of weapons and can quickly adjust to situations). Grievous: Multi-Named, Unpredictable (referring to how he is by far the most unpredictable person in serious battles). Jackie: The Child, Diremehake (Underestimated, referring to how he gets underestimated a lot during any battle). They get recognized quite often and get called their stage names, when they dont want to deal with people recognizing them they often either yell at them to go away or just run away. 

9: They do all of the above! It depends on the match up (Jackie and Watson stay out of eachothers way mostly, Ran and Grievous make it one on one, and Ran and Jackie take them out quick). Oh the first time Ran threw Jackie was hailours. You could hear Watson screaming from the stands in fear and Jackie just head-butted the guy in the stomach. Then when Jackie recovered he just yelled for Ran to throw him again, and once again you could hear Watson screaming no and threats at them from the stands. Ran agreed and threw Jackie at the last person, who he just bear hugged as he hit and held them down. Then after the battle Watson smacked the two and chastised them.

10: At first he drops stuff and trips over his feet on a regular basis. But after about 3 weeks he fully regains his balance, and is able to finally walk without tripping at the start. While the attempts at bonding do work to get Ranbob and Cletus closer the two never get as close as the rest. Neither can really name what's stopping them from getting closer though. For the first week people need to constantly remind Ranbob to do all of those things. As he thinks the constant hunger, thirst, and tiredness is all normal when its not and their trying to get him to understand that. And while he eventually starts to do it himself, theres still some nights where he doesnt eat or drink or sleep. They just leave the two in the house, but later they do start to expand the house a bit to fit the new addition. He does not get his own place up, he just gives up after some time. He doesn't fall asleep out there to often thankfully, but since the house keeps falling on him he does get cuts and bruises quite often. He gets stuck in a rain storm only 2 times which isn't bad, but he does get semi-bad burns from them sadly that Benjamin has to sit him down for and have Charles distract him for long enough to wrap his wounds properly. And it only took Benjamin like 4 weeks before he finally got fed up and forced him inside and had him stay with them. He has dealt with a storm before when he was young! But it was when he was about 12 so its been a long while. 

11: He spends all of his free time glaring at them. And for the first few days whenever he sees someone from his group hanging around his brothers, he'll go over and pick em up and just carry them away. The fishermen worry for a bit that Ran may hurt them, but Watson assured them that Ran knows the two groups like eachother and wouldn't hurt them incase that could hurt his families feelings. 

12: Ranbob is extremely happy about potentially getting new members of his family! And eagerly tries to talk with them. But Ran is far less happy and actively avoids them (and drags his family away at times).

13: At the start they have no idea where their going. But when Grievous brings up about Rans damaged sword they decide to find a nether portal so they can find whats needed to repair his sword! And Watson decides on the way he can show them all the different biomes in the world, which Jackie is extremely excited for. 

14: If the fishermen get separated from Ranbob for too long he actively goes and searches for them. And refuses to stop until he finds them. When upset Ran loves to pick up members of his Haunting, though he doesnt do them often as he knows his Haunting doesn't like it when he does it to often. He and Ranbob also pick up blocks though as it's a comfort action and soothes them. Cuddles piles do happen! They happen more for Ranbob to comfort him after a nightmare or just a bad day, or when he basically relapses and wants to go back to Dream. But cuddle piles are more rare in Rans group, as cuddle piles only happen when anyone is doing really badly mentally or physically and just need comfort, or when they all just need some comfort. But their much more sentimental and have more meaning than Ranbobs groups. 

15: Oh definitely. I forget if I included it when I first introduced my Au. But soon after Ran escaped Mizu, he was hunted for his pearl and respawn ability. Though he killed the people hunting him. Every year he was out of Mizu and every year before he entered Subbin he was hunted by multiple groups. He's become legend just for avoiding so many groups and killing a vast majority of them. He's known as the "Green Eyed Enderman." and is a top goal amongst hunters. There are some times Ran got jumped in Subbin for being a hybrid but he quickly defeated them. 

Karl has played his role in this! Though maybe I could make it so he comes in later on during a really difficult part between the  brothers, and helps out. Using his own experiences in the SMP and seeing what ruined relationships like brothers does to someone and others, to make sure their relationship doesn't stay so broken and hurt so many people. Maybe at the end I'll have them go back and face Dream so Ranbob (and even Ran slightly, with how Dreams presence affected him) can finally be completely free. As of rn no one has a pet. But that question made me really want to give someone a raven and idk who. I want to have bits of the other Tales in it! Im not quite sure how yet but I want this to be a mostly Tales ONLY au (no main SMP stuff unless needed or necessary) as the Tales don't have enough love. He does write down the experience he had with the Dream Experience and writes down very important things, but other than that he leaves it behind. 

Im really happy to hear that you like my au. I love world and story building a lot and can't control how much I write sometimes, again im sorry this is so long and I'll do my best to not make anything this long ever again. Sorry if this bothered you

8: Sounds pretty interesting, overall. Was Watson-as his cape suggest-perhaps an adventurer? And he designs his own bows and arrows? Very cool. What kind of things does he come up with?  Ran also sounds like he’s traveled a bit. He knows how to sew? Has he ever made anything for anyone else? Where did he get his sword? Jackie’s got a carpet? Very nice, he deserves it. And a painting easel? How good is he at painting? Or is it more of something he’s just trying? Grievous sounds like he could build a very good pillow fort, and honestly, good for him. How often do they camp out in the bunk bed room? 

Ran not liking being interrupted is understandable. Does he ever read to anyone, or is it more some alone time for him? Grievous and Watson must design some terrifying weapons. Where is Jackie looking at adventuring to? Anywhere specific, or just around? And what language(s) is Ran and Jackie’s secondary titles in? Latin? 

9: Very smart of them, means it’ll be harder to pick up a pattern. And hearing about Ran tossing Jackie-I’m laughing. I’m not going to lie, kind of assumed it was planned pre-match, but hearing that they just decided to throw him? Watson’s reaction? Just...hilarious. Was Jackie even prepared for it, or did Ran just toss them without warning? Honestly, it kind of sounds like people might come to the Pit for the comedy just as much for the fighting. If this was the kind of thing that went down, I’d probably come to watch.

10: Oh no, Ranbob! At least he’s getting better. So Cletus and Ranbob never quite click, huh? Well, that’s alright. Sometimes people just don’t. Doesn’t mean they don’t care about each other! Ranbob thinking it’s normal, oh god. Does he ever say something along those lines, or get confused why the others are so worried about it? If so, how do the fishermen react to that question, and how does Ranbob react to the answer. As for the house, well. He can say he tried if nothing else-and hey, funny story to share with the gladiators later on. It’s good that he wasn’t caught in too many storms, less that he was caught in some at all. I’m sure that was a big help in convincing Benjamin to finally just put his foot down, which, honestly good for him. You go, Benjamin!

11: Ran, bud, chill. I like how you said his free time though-my first thought was that he immediately finished a book and went over to glare at them. Probably not true, but a hilarious mental image. Very glad Watson has reassured the fishermen-how did Ranbob react to that worry of theirs?

12: Ran’s actions are pretty understandable, but still a bit sad. How does Ranbob feel about them? Is he resigned? Determined? Upset?

13: Adventure! Into possibly dangerous places! How fun! Can’t wait to see where it goes. What do they see? What’s the first stop? How long are they heading off?

14: He won’t stop? Like, potentially will work himself into the ground won’t stop? Ran just picks up his members like blocks. And, oh boy. Ranbob wanting to go back to Dream? That’s just. Oof. Very much oof. How do the fishermen deal with that, and how do they feel about it?

15: Ran sounds like he’s had a less than enjoyable time out there. Do these hunters ever go after them once they leave Subbin? Do they target Ranbob? I mean, he’s another Endermen hybrid, and one who definitely isn’t as skilled as Ran, or as used to them. He’d be a much easier target.

So Karl’s gonna come in towards the end. Nice. Ran was also affected by Dream? How so? Obviously less than his brother, but did he ever notice? Did Ranbob? Sounds like it’d be a good final showdown, over all.

As for that pet raven, may I offer some suggestions? You could give one to Jackie and Grievous, so it can help them cause havoc, or maybe one to Benjamin, so it can help him keep an eye on his dorks. Maybe even Cletus, to help snag things, and mess with people, or Isaac, maybe to help find things. Even Watson, or one of the brothers, to help keep watch over their groups. Really, you could give any of these guys a raven. Depending on said bird’s personality, it could fit anywhere. Just depends on what you want to do with it.

I completely agree with you, we need more Tales AUs. Ranbob and Ran did come from what was basically a city of historians, perhaps you could use that to tie in the other Tales? Or even have them across the old ruins of areas on their adventure. Even chunk in more time travel, via Karl or otherwise, if you want to toss in more characters.

Ranbob pretty much starts over then. Good for him. How does Ran feel about that? Actually, who was Ran’s idol, and his general life on Mizu, before the Dream incident?

Other questions:

One thing I’d like to know is how the groups react to each other’s experiences and general life styles. Like for one, Ranbob and the fishermen generally seem more physically affectionate with each other, while Ran and the gladiators seem fairly less so, but no less close. 

For another, the fishermen probably still remind Ranbob to eat or sleep, which would probably seem a bit confusing for the gladiators. How much do they know about both sides? Obviously enough for them to want to help get the brothers back together, but like.

How much do the gladiators believe Ranbob’s side. Are they wary, or skeptical, or do they believe it completely, and if so, why? 

How long was Ran left running, evading hunters, and how has that affected him? How many times do both brothers say something concerning, and how do they react to what the other says?

You’ve said Ranbob occasionally relapses and wants to return to Dream. Does this happen on the trip? And if so, how do the gladiators react to such a thing-depending on how much they know about the whole thing, I can imagine mixed reactions. How does Ran react?

How do both groups react to the new endermen hybrids? They seem to have dealt with different instincts before now, so seeing Ranbob trail the fishermen and Ran just pick up the gladiators must be a bit strange. 

What can Ranbob keep down? Not only was Dream in control, and not particularly careful with his body, but supplies were probably also somewhat limited when he did eat. So how has that affected him? 

Are there any nicknames within in the groups? How do the gladiators react to the schedule change, considering they had set times for so much before? How do the fishermen react to the new areas? What habits are/become shared, and what habits are restricted to one group.

In general, just...how the fishermen and the gladiators differ in lifestyles, basically. 

For another, in one of the earlier post, you mentioned both Isaac and Cletus wanted to return to Mizu. Isaac kind of gives me a historian vibe himself, or some sort of archaeologists. Just a kind of person who wants to learn about history-perhaps something to do with the fact that he was played by Karl, and the whole time traveler thing. 

But anyway, what exactly did those two want to do down there? Explore, learn, steal?

And how would you say everyone’s personalities are like? Will you be introducing anymore characters, Tales or otherwise. It’d be interesting to see a Pit version of Tommy, or Puffy, or such.

How does Ran react when he finally accepts the truth, and what exactly pushes him to that? 

Hope this isn’t too many questions. I’m pretty invested, not gonna lie.

But yeah, it was interesting to see what the big deal about og moriarty was... especially since the deal simply did not deliver. There was not really a big deal. It's like reading the first chapter of a book and immediately skipping to the climax. Everything is so hyped up and clearly having been building for years and you just get like NO CONTEXT. I swear Moriarty wasn't goddamn mentioned any time before this. He's just suddenly the big guy and watson has just never fucking heard shit about this guy.

What's so funny about this whole situation is that I just. Cannot objectively know anything about Moriarty at all because sherlock just... does not go into what this dude's alleged crimes even were, other than. The fact that he like. Does them. for a long time, you and your two close friends, Alex and James, wanted to go away from your home country. some place new and fresh, to start a better live. now you guys are finally living in your dreams of wanting to move to london, it didnt exactly turn out the way you wanted to, well it did. at least for a year.

now, you are just laying down on the long and wide wooden bench at your apartment's rooftop, looking at the sky like what you would do any other night, with your unfinished assignment scattered beside you along with your opened laptop with a blank screen. you would come to visit the rooftop every night, unless you had plans with Alex and James or errands to run of course.

no matter the weather, no matter the situation, you would always head there. in your opinion, you fet that you spent more time up at the rooftop than in your own apartment. its just something about the atmosphere of the place. no one ever came to the rooftop when you were there, the clear plastic that covers the entire rooftop to protect you when it rains, and the sky. you loved looking at the sky. whether there were shining starts filling up the sky or a black void of nothingness, you felt comfort in just looking at it. you felt as though.. it filled your loneliness since you werent able to meet your friends as often anymore as they were too preoccupied with their separate lives. you didnt have any other friends, nor did you bother to find some. you were fine with being alone, only because the sky was able to accompany you 24/7.

it was currently 1am, you sighed and you continued to lay down on the wooden bench with your forearms below your head. you tilted your head. you noticed here were stars. although it wasnt shining brightly, you were still able to see them. you turned your head sideways to face the papers that were all over the place besde you. you graoned as you forced yourself to sit up, gathering all the strength and brain power you had to complete the one assignment that your lecturer gave you for the week. you were already almost done so you might as well finish it by tonight so that you coukd have a break for the rest of the week. you pulled your computer towards you and took a deep breathe before getting back to work after a 30 minute rest from looking at the sky.

you were blasting out music while you were doing your work sincd you left your earpiece at your apartment. the music you listened to had you bobbing your head slolwy to the beat, the calming rhythm pushing you to do your work. just before the next song was about to play, you flinched at a voice that sounded like there was someone standing at the enterance of the rooftop.

"paris in the rain by lauv."

you tilted your head to the direction of the voice, shocked to see a man standing there. you couldnt see him clearly due to the darkness but you could make out that he was a tall man. "im sorry?" you questioned, gaping your mouth open slightly and raising an eyebrow. this was the first ever time you have seen someone coming up to the rooftop. you kept silent as you watched the unknown man walking towards you, his appearence becomig more clear as he stepped out of the darkness and entered the light of the rooftop. "the song you played. it was nice." the man said in a polite and slightly cheerful tone as he shoved his hands into the pockets of his jeans and placed his weight on his right leg. you looked at him up and down skeptically. he had light brown hair. he was wearing a plain dark blue hoodie and jeans.

"what are you doing here?" you asked him again, still stunned by how even a radom person showed up here. "you mean i cant enter?" he casually asked you back as he sat down on the floor. you wondered why till you noticed that the whole wooden bench you were sitting on was filled with your papers laying around.you closed your laptop and shook your head slightly. "no i mean i literaly locked the door. how did you-"

"i guess me being a locksmith has come in handy for once in my life." you heard him chuckle softly as he looked down on the floor before looking up at you. "please leave." you murmured softly as you grabbed a piece of paper near you and started writing something on it for your assignment. "this is a public place, you know? but it looks like youve made it your own." you glanced up from the paper to him, noticing that he was looking around the rooftop and looking at the decorations you put up such as fairy lights and lanterns.

“who are you?” another question pops out of your mouth. “you have way too many questions now dont you? alright im jung jaehyun, 23 years old.” the man now you know as jaehyun grins widely as he put his hand out to offer a handshake. “olivier rings.” you simply replied, not even bothering to shake his hand. jaehyun clicks his tongue and puts his hand back down to his lap. “nice name. so, why are you here at this ho-“

you immediately cut him off. “why dont you tell me why are you here? i am aware this is a public space but no one has ever came here till you showed up and i am very uncomfortable with talking to strangers. please leave.” you watched as his face grow dark and emotionless. you clearly made him upset, but he was quick to force a soft smile. “im staying here. you seem like someone i can vibe with.” jaehyun shrugged and lifted his head up to look at the sky through the plastic dome. you laughed softly. “you sure you can vibe with someone like me?” you whispered under your breathe and you lay down on the wooden bench once again, looking up at the sky just like how jaehyun was.

the both of you were silent for at least 20 minutes, not interacting, just admiring the sky with full focus. “i think i should get going. i have a lecture tomorrow.” you sat up straight and yawned, waiting for jaehyun to respond. jaehyun tilted his head back down to face you and nodded in approval.

you stood up from the wooden bench and began packing up, picking up every piece of paper on the bench and placing them in your tote bag. you felt jaehyun’s presence beside you as he assisted you in gathering up your papers and handing them to you. you let out a soft ‘thank you’ before carrying your tote bag over your shoulder and holding the laptop in your arms. “i have the keys to lock the rooftop but i certain someone apparently got through it.” you rolled your eyes as you walked over to the exit of the rooftop that leads to a flight of stairs. you heard jaehyun chuckled as he followed behind you. “ill come by to fix the lock tomorrow, dont worry.”

jaehyun was quick to open the door before you do and turn to you to give you one last smile before going down the stairs and disappearing into the darkness. you stood at the exit for awhile, thinkig over what you have just encountered with a stranger named jaehyun. you sighed, hoping to not see him again as you turned off the switches to the fairy lights at the bottom right of the exit door and left.

the next day, you had just got home from your morning lecture. luckily for you, the major you took only had a fews days of the week when you had to attend for lectures. other than that, you would just complete your assigned work at home, giving you the opportunity to work in your comfort space aka the rooftop.

it was a nice day today since that after the lecture, you did not have much work to do and decided to take the day off. you went to the donut shop nearby your apartment to get your favourite donut, one that you would buy at least once every two weeks when you are free. today is your lucky day.

you head straight to the rooftop with your donut in hand. you figured that you didnt have to vsit your apartment since you have everything you need up at the rooftop. you have a place where you can lay down comfortably, you have all your necessities im your bag such as a portable, your laptop and the whole rooftop just felt like your second home. you opened the door, knowing that there was no lock anymore due to the man named jaehyun who broke it and entered the rooftop.

you released a deep long sigh of relief as you bask in the light coming from the sun, closing your eyes for a moment as your head tilts up to the sky. you stayed there for a moment before walking towards the large wooden plank that you call your bench and bed area and instantly lay down on it. well, it had a thin white mattress over it, with a huge furry yellow pillow. while decorating the rooftop, you really wanted to make it as comfortable as possible, and for the purpose of in case you sleep through the night on top there, which you have done several times.

you placed your bag beside the so called bed and looked at your phone. it was evening at this point and the sunset was just about to come. you sat up straight and took a bite of your donut before reaching to the small area that is between the bench and the edge of the rooftop to take out your portable speaker. you kept it hidden in case anyone comes into the rooftop but you have it charge in your apartment once in awhile. you connected your phone to the speaker with bluetooth and blasted music from your ‘chill playlist’ on spotify. the first song playing was by pink sweats. you hummed the lyrics and bobbed your head as you took another bite of the donut in one hand and look through your social media with your phone on the other. you instantly look up from your phone from you heard the door open.

you see a tall man. this time you were fully able to know who he was in broad daylight. “jung jaehyun.” you looked down beside him to see him carrying what looked like bubble tea, for two? “i knew you’d be here.” you licked your dry lips as you folded your arms and watch him walk over to the bench, placing the drinks on your foldable dining table beside it and took a seat next to you. you moved to the side a little to make a small gap between you two, still unsure if you could event trust him just yet. “how’d you know i would be here?” you asked him as you folded your legs.

“judging from the rooftop thing you have going on, it looked like you come here often. most people like to come up to rooftops to look at the scenery. sunsets, night skies and such.” jaehyun shrugged calmingly, extending his arm over you, to which you backed your body away a little, noticing that he was reaching for the bubble tea. he grabbed it and took a sip. “so i made an intelligent guess that you would be here to watch that.” you heard jaehyun chewing on the drink’s pearls in his mouth as he pointed his drink.

you looked towards the direction he was pointing at the see a beautiful sunset arising. you gaped your mouth in awe, the song in the background making the whole atmosphere more fitting. you softly smiled and chuckled, grabbing the other bobble tea on the table and poking a straw into it before taking a sip. “im guessing this is for me?” jaehyun turns to you when he heard the noise of the straw poking through. he nodded his head as he swallowed the last pearl that was in his mouth. “for breaking your lock.” you hummed as you watched the sunset.

“it looks so beautiful.” you whispered, just loud enough for jaehyun to hear. you heard jaehyun sigh in satisfaction. “definitely.” you and jaehyun took a sip of your bubble tea drinks.

“get me brown sugar milk tea next time.” you told jaehyun. your turned towards him when you heard him scoff with a smile. “what?” you asked in annoyance. “you want me to come back here again? says the one that told me to leave yesterday.” jaehyun rolled his eyes. you let out a ‘tsk’ in response. “well of course i told you to leave. i didn’t know you at all yesterday.” you argued back.

the sun has now set completely and the sky became dark. “so you assume you know me now?” jaehyun raised an eyebrow with a smirk appearing on his lips. “that’s wasnt what i meant- jeez you’re so hard to talk to.” you huffed and ran your hand through your hair as you admitted defeat, too tired to even argue with a man you just met.

“mind if i stay here till midnight or something? i have no other plans tonight, i have to fix that lock of yours, and this place really is a nice spot to look at the stars.” you stared at him as you hard what he said. does he like to look at the stars like you do? maybe he wouldn’t be so hard to vibe with after all.

that night, you and jaehyun talked for hours while looking at the night sky. you found that that he recently moved into the apartment next to yours and he was working a bookstore nearby. the habit that you and jaehyun share of looking at the sky was what started your whole friendship. little by little, the two of your grew closer and closer together. you two carried on with your separate lives of course, but you and him will always spend time together, even if it meant one minute, to meet at your rooftop and admire the scenery of your town, counting every star you see in the sky together, and even looking down, observing the people that walked by, making intelligent guesses on what they work as based on what they were wearing or how their lives looked liked.

by 6 months of being friends with jaehyun, the friendship became more intense, in the physical way. one day, jaehyun caught you crying as he entered the rooftop. you later told him that Alex got into an accident and was badly injured. jaehyun hugged you close to him to comfort you. of course, that is what anyone would have done if they seen you crying, screaming, and balling your eyes out. but with jaehyun, you felt safe and secured in his hug. just the way he hugged your body, gently brushing his hand through your hair as he talked about the stars and came up with goofy stories as to how each star came to be. you laughed with the way he comfort you as he looked down to stare at your eyes, fully immersed into you.

“if you need me, ill be here. ill be like the rooftop, your very own comfort space.” a single tear rolled down your cheek as your bit your lip, fully aware that your eyes are red and sore from crying too much. jaehyun brings his thumb up to get rid of the tear before pulling you in once more, your face landing on his shoulder as you were finally able to calm your body and let it rest against his, melting away at his warm touch.

“jaehyun?” you looked at jaehyun, who you have been cuddling with since 8pm. “what is it, oli?” jaehyun asked back, patting your head as his grip around your waist got tighter to bring your closer to him. “i dont see any stars out tonight. why did you keep talking about them?” you questioned jaehyun. the whole time you were together with him today, he talked as if there were millions of stars in the sky, but every time you look up, you dont see a single one. you just saw a blank black sky.

jaehyun chuckled as the brushed a few strands of hair behind your back. “ever since i met you, no matter what the sky looked like every night, i still see stars. not the ones in the sky, but the ones in your eyes.” jaehyun sighed as he brought his hand to cup your cheek. you stared at him, your eyes froze as you made eye contact with him, not fully aware of what he was talking about. “im aware there isnt a single star out tonight, but its alright. you’re my universe, so shine bright for me.” you blinked at him. he has always said flowery words to you for fun, but the look in his eyes felt like he meant those words seriously. you hummed, out of not exactly knowing what to reply. “you’ll find out what i mean.” was all jaehyun said as he suddenly noticed you falling asleep in his arms.

the next day, you woke up, you winced at the sun shining brightly as it blinded your eyes. you rubbed your eyes before sitting up straight. you realised jaehyun was gone. that’s weird to be frank, normally if you fell asleep, he would be there for you the moment you wake up. whether he was cuddling you close, or brought out to buy you breakfast. you shrugged and moved on with your day, thinking that he would be back by tonight.

wrong, he didn’t show up. every night, you waited and waited mindlessly, thinking that he would pop up at the door of the rooftop. you didn’t know where he went or what he was doing during the time he was gone and it made you worried sick. it felt as though he left you for no reason. your comfort space left, and you didn’t know what to do without it. the rooftop doesn’t feel the same without the presence of jaehyun. as time went on, you still carried on with your routine of sitting by the rooftop, but you felt an aching in your heart every time you step into it. “this used to be my comfort space, along with you. so why did you have to go?” you questioned yourself, one year after his disappearance.

one day, you were hugging your knees close to your chest as you cradled yourself slowly, while looking up at the stars. “its alright. you’re my universe, so shine bright for me.” the last important words that jaehyun said kept replaying in your head, still wondering what he meant by that. you took a quick look around your rooftop. “fuck.” you whispered as you broke down in tears, noticing how much you miss jaehyun. the feelings of your love for him only grew as time went on and you couldn’t hold it in no more. you needed him here, right now.

“oli.” you heard your name being called at the entrance of the rooftop. you immediately jolted your head towards the door. you see someone standing there, and you know exactly who it was. “jaehyun..” you whispered as you watched jaehyun emerge from the shadows, revealing himself after being missing for over a year. you broke down even more, letting your eyes run dry as you cried out loudly, screaming jaehyun name. jaehyun instantly ran towards you and hugged you, a feeling that you longed for too long. “sh sh oli. its okay, im finally back.” jaehyun lightly kisses your ear as he ducks his head into your neck. you cried into his chest as his shirts started to soak in your tears.

“where.. where did you go? i fucking missed you.” you murmured as you looked up at jaehyun, who’s eyes immediately softened as he looked at your crying face. he wipes the excess tears on your cheeks dry with the end of his sweater and sighed. “i had to move out of the country to visit my sick mother. since she was feeling better after a year, i headed back here.” you felt his hand on your head as soothing his hand over your hair like the good old days. you really missed him. his presence, his touch. everything. “you didn’t tell me you were leaving.”

you looked down as you played with his sweater, fiddling your fingers with it. however, jaehyun brings his hand to connect with your interlocking the fingers of both of your hands with his. he brought your interlocking hands up in front of you. “princess, i hinted at you, didnt i?” you blinked at him as you tilted his head, the last words that he gave before he went away popped in your head. “what do you mean by shine bright for you?” you asked jaehyun as you frowned. jaehyun dropped his hands, along with yours to your lap, his face moving closer in your lips were just inches apart.

“it meant that no matter where you are, if i look at the most brightest star in the sky, ill be reminded of you. it also meant that you should have faith that ill come back to you, since you’re my universe, and my only brightest star.” with that jaehyun pulled you in by your waist, brushing his lips against yours before bringing you into a soft and gentle kiss. you kissed him back as you melted into him, fully letting him deepen the kiss. you closed your eyes in satisfaction as you smiled into the kiss. you leaned in closer as you wrapped your arms around his neck. you pulled away for a moment as you stared at his face. “then shine bright for me as well, jung jaehyun.”

“as i will.” you pulled him in for another kiss. who knew that a love like this can be made from meeting at a rooftop?

“why are we even here ryu its summer we should be going to the pool” the smaller boy whined, entering the library with his best friend. “noya i just need to drop off this book for my sister calm down” tanaka sighed “im gonna head to the jump section meet me there” nishinoya said waving off his friend after the comment was acknowledged. looking for the section he caught a glimpse of and intriguing character, he couldnt see them because of all the book they were carrying. walking to them whispering “hey you look like you need help, mind if i?” startled the person jumps a little. “yes please, my coworker just stacked them on top of me” letting a small laugh out, laughing a little with them he took some books off of the pile so they could see. looking at them his breathing hitched, beautiful is all he could think. after a second of him starting the person asked if he was okay, nodding his head smiling “where we headed with these?” lifting his arm. “to the front, these are donations” they said took a step looking back for the male to follow them. he started to make conversation with questions like ‘whyd your coworker leave?’ ‘do you work here?’ ‘what's your name?’ the walk wasnt that long so he couldn't get to know them that much. “i cant believe you work here? its summer you should be out in the sun!” he said whisper-yelling, with a small laugh they replied “well its easy money and i get to stay with the air conditioning i think its a win win.” putting his hand on his chin and closing his eyes, nodding his head with a hum “who am i to criticize someone whos getting that bag, consider me jealous.” getting a buzz from his pocket he took his phone out seeing tanaka asking where he is. “my friend is looking for me, will you give me the pleasure in obtaining your number?” he said looking up at them, they do the same pose he was doing a minute ago. “well you dont seem like a stalker plus i can repay you for helping me, here” they say grabbing the phone from his hand typing their number and naming the contact ‘y/l/n.’ “well mr nishinoya i will expect a response from you soon” they back up leaning on the books. “oh wait i need a contact picture everyone has one in my phone” he says with a little pride, hearing a laugh from them his smile widens “im not taking a picture i look bad right now” they say turning to the books. “fine next time i see you im getting that picture” he says, giving them a wave “bye y/l/n” waving back to him they nod.
