Tumblr media
☆ SYNOPSIS: with the rumors of a cute barista going on around college, you decided to pay a visit there after training alongside your little sister. unfortunately, you never expected to the rumors being actually true.
☆ PAIRING: sung jinwoo x male! reader.
☆ KEYWORDS: (s/n)-> sister’s name
☆A/N: saw a fanart of @wonderingcheese of jinwoo as a barista and I couldn’t not write about it. so take this as a gift while I write the others requests.
Tumblr media
“i-i would like a black coffee..”
“good choice, dude.”
The rumors around college are wrong. The barista of the local cafe isn’t cute, he is extremely handsome. His grey eyes matching with his black hair is a perfect match to someone so muscular like him. And his sharp facial features give the mysterious vibes that everyone is taking about.
At first, you didn’t want to come to this cafe. Not with the responsibility of being both the student council president and also taking care of your nine years old sister while parents are out of town. However, with the rumors going on and the fact that [s/n] wanted to come here changed your whole day schedule.
“And I would like something sweetie! Like a cheesecake!” your little sister barely reach the countertops to order. “A glass of green tea too, ah, mrs. sung.”
Her spark eyes read the name tag on the black haired man. With her arms behind her back and the tiny blush on the little girl’s, it’s clear. [s/n], your little sister, just gained another of those crushes she has. At least, this time it’s a real guy, not fictional.
The barista, now knows as sung jinwoo, smiles at you and [s/n]. “It will be in cash?”
“Y-yeah.” you take a few banknotes and payed for the order while trying your very best (and failing) to avoid his grey eyes. “Can you bring to us at the table?”
Sung Jinwoo nodded and gave you the change. The brief moment your hand touched his, you felt something off about him. Maybe it’s the air conditioner or the fact there is no one else in the cafe with the exception for the three of us, but…You feel many eyes watching your back.
[s/n] choose to sit close to the window, where she can take a great view of the bright sun outside which shiny the cafe’s inside. Even though, she is only a child and quite sheltered due to her weak health, she isn’t stupid or naive about her older brother.
“You like him, don’t you?” she whispered. “I saw the way you look at him, so you can keep him.”
Her words made your face blush entirely. You avoid look at her and stare at Sung Jinwoo, only to the barista smiles back at you, making you blush even more.
“Why you think that?” you asked her, trying to pretend her question isn’t bothering you at all.
The little girl giggle, enjoying how embarrassed you are with her words. [s/n] isn’t waste any second on seeing you like this, “You always act like an idiot whatever you see someone good looking around.” she explained. “Good thing you aren’t drooling this time.”
You give her a death stare. For a nine years old, she has the guts to speak like that to her old brother, the very same one who brought her to this cafe, because she asked it. As the older brother, you are holding yourself to not leave her alone in this cafe.
“Whatever.” you roll your eyes. “Tell anyone about it and I won’t let you eat ice cream before dinner.”
With the threatening, the little girl didn’t speak any more words til Sung Jinwoo brought the order to the table, when she shyly thanked him for her drink and her cheesecake.
He smiled to the little girl and let her hair, before turning his grey eyes into your [e/c] ones. When he handed your black coffee, Sung Jinwoo smirked and whispered to you:
“Call me.” he left after saying that.
His words made you freeze immediately. Did he asked you out? This has to be a dream, yet the phone number write in the coffee cup made you think better. Who would guess that you would be the lucky one to get the barista’s number? The sweet moment of such realization wasn’t even broken down by [s/n], she decided to stay quiet and let you enjoy the moment.
Behind the counter, Sung Jinwoo clean the utensils as he fail to ignore his shadows gossiping about what he just did. The tiny blush on his cheek make things better.
“The monarch asked him out!”
“Finally! Our king will be together with him again!”
“This time, our monarch was the one who took the first step!”
The shadows keep talking with each other as Jinwoo took a look at [name] and his little sister, both of them are talking and smiling to each other, sometimes the [h/c] haired boy would catch a glimpse at the barista.
Jinwoo giggle to himself as he finish putting away his utensils. With the cafe almost empty, he took a seat behind the counter and began staring at [name] with his grey eyes become softer while the monarch remembers the sweet memories they both shared in the prior timeline.
He hopes to be with you again in this life.

love me for me.
jinwoo sung x fem.reader x liu zhigang
warnings: mentions of s*icidal thoughts
“i’ll forgive you only when you’re crawling over broken glass to get to me.”
anonymous said: Okay so, what if Cha Hae-in had a sister who was an A-Rank healer and Jinwoo Likes Cha but can't get close to her. Sooo in a desperate attempt to catch her attention he courts her SISTER bUt reader is skeptical cuz this isn't the first time someone courted her to get close to her sister and the first time it happened she was heartbroken. The way Jinwoo courted her felt so genuine that she fell for it, thinking he actually liked her. So when she said she accepted his courting the look on his face realizing he fucked up cuz he lead her on and when Cha told him she was happy he wasn't using her sister to get close to her cuz she wanted her sister to feel loved made him feel even more guilty. When Reader saw his expression her face fell realizing she fell for one of her sister's suitors again. When the time was turned back she remembered everything and did her best to avoid Jinwoo when they met in school(college or high school either way everything works still) because she didn't want to be used and have her heart broken again[I can't think of a happy ending but i rlly want a happy endingTT]
jinwoo was desperate to get close to hae-in, for the blond woman with stormy grey eyes was all that he could think about. everything about her seemed so... perfect to him.
but he was hesitant to try and get closer to her, since she seemed to be so out of his league. despite how jinwoo had grown stronger thanks to the system's interference with his life-
deep down, jinwoo was still the weak and unconfident man he had always been-
he still retained the personality he had as an e-rank hunter.
lost in his thought, he walks out of the meeting held at the hunter association building, his hands hidden within the pockets of his coat when he catches sight of cha hae-in. he freezes immediately, seeing hae-in coming up to hug another young woman.
he hears hae-in call out her name with an eagerness, earning a smile from her as she hugged her sister back. jinwoo was mesmerized at the sight of hae-in's smile, yet at the same time, he couldn't help but look over at the woman she was holding-
her sister...
you.
he remembers your name and takes a chance to admire the sight of hae-in holding on to you. on paper, you were known as cha hae-in's sister, but in all actuality, you were adopted into her family, being the same age as hae-in as you both grew up together.
and despite how his heart sang for hae-in-
he couldn't deny the beauty you held.
as he was stuck admiring the two sisters caught in a loving embrace, jinwoo could feel his eyes go wider at the sight.
he was too much of a coward to approach hae-in directly-
but perhaps he could use you to get to her...
{ ... }
you always had a bit of an inferiority complex when it came to hae-in.
it was true that you were as close as sisters could be, even believing that she was your best friend and vice versa.
you truly loved hae-in-
but what you didn't love was how so many boys fell for your sister while leaving you in the dust. more often than not, when guys were too shy or intimidated to approach hae-in directly, they would use you to get closer to her-
and that fact always hurt you.
perhaps the moment that hurt you the most was when you were a freshman in college and met a great guy named shik. he was so attentive and kind towards you, yet the worst night of your life happened when you invited him over for dinner and shik immediately confessed to hae-in, telling her how he only wanted to use you in order to get closer to her.
but lucky for you, hae-in loved and cherished you more than that as she slapped the bastard across his face all while rejecting him.
ever since then, you had been close to hae-in, basking in your mutual love and respect for each other as sisters.
now that you were older, being 24 years old, you quit your university life and became a healer, managing to become an a-rank while hae-in became an s-rank hunter. and despite how envious you felt over her natural abilities as a hunter, you did your best to remind yourself that you were just as good-
that you were a highly skilled and proficient healer who had saved many lives in various gates.
that you were highly respected by other s-rank hunters during co-op raids with global hunters, all aiming to raid any massive gates that posed as a threat to humanity.
and such reassurances were enough to calm your heart and ease your sorrows.
currently, you had finished a meeting with the chairman and was about to head out of the building when you ran into someone. your nose ached in response to the impact, nearly falling over had it not been for the strong hand that kept a grip on your wrist.
you open your eyes and gasp, meeting with sung jinwoo's kind eyes.
"hey, sorry about that. i didn't see you." jinwoo chuckles while helping you stand back to your full height. you could feel the heat dye against your cheeks as you struggled to find the right words to say to him.
"i-it's okay, hunter sung."
another light chuckle was heard escaping from his parted lips, causing your to jolt pleasantly in surprise as a tremble courses through you from hearing such a beautiful sound.
"please, call me jinwoo."
your mouth turns dry, and you felt as though your head were spinning upon hearing his words.
"o-okay... thanks, j-jinwoo."
his smile seems to brighten in response to your words, and you watch as he runs his fingers through his hair, giving you a sheepish expression.
"uhm, i was wondering, if you're free... would you like to grab some coffee with me?"
your heart quickly began to pound in response. ever since you had first laid eyes on jinwoo, you held a deep crush on him. you had always admired him, even when he was still a level e hunter.
was he really asking you out?
wait. don't fall for it.
suddenly, your mind began to take over, quickly banishing the strange racing felt within your heart as the joy shrivels slowly in response.
remember shik and how he asked you out to get to hae-in? think about it, jinwoo never spoke to you before... and you know that he is aware that hae-in is your sister.
you harden your heart and look away from him, actually listening to the voice in your head. "no thank you... i... i have other plans."
your rejection seems to shock jinwoo, his eyes going wide when he reaches out to you.
"wait, why-"
but you didn't allow him to continue, immediately walking away from him as you left the hunter's association building-
never once looking back at him.
{ ... }
several weeks had passed since your interaction with jinwoo-
and you honestly weren't expecting him to be so... incessant in his attempts to date you.
each morning, you would find cute little bouquets delivered to your and hae-in's guild. she would give you a knowing smile while jong-in would constantly smirk at you.
but perhaps what made your heart really skip beats was when he had sent a rather... extravagant bouquet to yours and hae-in's shared apartment. the bouquet consisted of every known flower in existence, their colorful blooms seeming to blind your eyes as the rainbow petals overwhelmed you in the best of ways.
you sigh and try to calm your racing heart. as you were looking at the bouquet, you saw a slender white envelope caught in the midst of the array of petals. gingerly, you take the card and place it in your hand, taking the card out of the confines of the envelope as you saw a series of numbers and a note from jinwoo:
xxx-xxx-xxxx
i can't stop thinking about you... please, give me a chance?
i eagerly await your call.
yours,
s.j.
unable to ignore the strange pounding in your heart, you clench your eyes shut and thought about what to do next.
don't fall for it. what if he ends up breaking your heart?
but he's so kind... and persistent. never once did he mention hae-in's name.
neither did shik, yet the moment he saw your sister, it all went to hell, remember?
you ignore the looming voice in your head, filling you with doubt as you went back to your room with the card and bouquet in hand. grabbing your phone from your nightstand, you dial jinwoo's number and give him a call...
{ ... }
jinwoo was simply dosing off within his room when his cellphone begins to vibrate. looking down at his phone's screen, he sees an unknown series of numbers and smiles.
he answers the call within the second ring, smiling into the phone as he says your name.
"you're really persistent, aren't you?"
jinwoo felt his heart skip a few beats upon hearing your voice so close to his ear, making him feel the tiniest bit flustered as he tried to calm down.
"i'm guessing you got my latest present for you?"
silence permeates at the air, and jinwoo nearly let out a chuckle when he hears your sigh.
"i did get your bouquet... it's lovely."
smiling widely, jinwoo sits back on his bed while gently asking you, "so... would you like to join me on a date this coming saturday? how does a dinner and a movie sound to you?"
"...it sounds perfect... come pick me up at my apartment around 7pm."
you hang up the call first, leaving jinwoo speechless as he was left grinning like an absolute fool at the thought of you agreeing to go out on a date with him. after remaining in that same, shocked position for several minutes, jinwoo finally hangs up the phone with a pleased expression on his face.
how did it turn out like this?
at first, he wanted to use you to try and get closer to hae-in, to see if being close to you would make hae-in turn softer toward him-
yet why was he now looking forward to his date with you?
why did he not mind pursuing you so relentlessly?
why did he wish to be your sole source of happiness; wishing to bask in your sweet smiles and melodious laughter?
feeling like he was on cloud 9, he settles his phone on his nightstand and lays back in bed, his shadow soldiers seeming to surround him, sensing his happiness as they all congratulated him.
"the lady has always been a perfect match for our king."
"it is clear that his attempts at courting her has been successful."
"we are with you every step of the way!"
jinwoo was practically soaring with happiness now-
perhaps he was a king, after all...
you made him feel like he was king of the entire universe.
{ ... }
one date turned into two dates-
two dates turned into three dates-
and this kept going on until you shared at least a hundred dates with sung jinwoo.
somewhere in between your thirty-ninth and fortieth date with him, he asked you to be his girlfriend-
and you accepted his proposal without hesitation.
jinwoo was nothing but the perfect boyfriend to you. he doted on you constantly, and you found yourself loving his attention and affections so much that you ended up finding an apartment to move into together with him.
it was such a huge change for you, yet hae-in supported you every step of the way. she basked and cherished your happiness with a bright smile on her face, and you were so blessed- so happy to have a platonic soulmate like her in your life.
living with jinwoo for 3 months now, you decided it was time to pay your sister a visit. she had invited both you and jinwoo over for dinner and wanted to catch up with you. cooking your own plethora of side dishes to bring to dinner, you finished making them and packed them all into neat containers.
"jin, do you mind helping me carry this bag out into the car?" you call out to jinwoo, seeing him appear in the kitchen with a smile on his face.
"of course, sarang." you nearly melt at the mere sight of him, seeing his dressed in a black turtleneck with dark jeans. he meets you and wraps his arms around the front of your abdomen. pressing kisses against your hair, he takes the bag filled with containers and gets ready to place them in his car.
you follow from close behind him, eyes looking out the window to see the grey clouds beginning to come in. "huh, the weather looks kind of bad."
jinwoo takes note of the cloudy skies, "do you want to call your sister and reschedule this dinner?"
you immediately shake your head upon hearing his suggestion. "no, i'm actually looking forward to seeing her again. let's just tread carefully when the storm does arrive and do our best to stay dry."
jinwoo nods his head, "okay, if you say so..."
little did you know, it would have been better for you to not see hae-in at all.
{ ... }
you were just being paranoid, that's all.
jinwoo was not constantly staring at your sister throughout dinner-
even though she looked lovely with her golden hair falling gracefully across her features-
even though she was dressed to perfection in a cream colored sweater and a matching skirt-
even though she wore no makeup and was still by far the loveliest woman in this room-
you still couldn't compare to her.
even with the delicious side dishes you made coupled along with hae-in's cooking, you couldn't bring yourself to eat. jinwoo still sat next to you, his hand barely remaining held within the palm of your hand as he spoke animatedly with hae-in.
why was it that you were left feeling like the third wheel?
hae-in notices your lack of appetite and calls out your name. "ah, what's wrong? you barely touched your food!"
"i-i'm okay... it's just, i had a big lunch earlier."
hae-in hums, not quite believing you, but still didn't question you.
"i know what will cheer you up! i bought you your favorite dessert, strawberry shortcake! give me a moment and i'll prepare it for you!"
you were ready to thank your sister, but your words die within the confines of your throat when jinwoo stands from his seat, taking with him his empty plates and utensils.
"here, let me help you."
without even sparing you a second glance, he goes to quickly help hae-in-
and you felt as though your entire form was bathed in an icy coldness. you shiver and felt your throat close up in response, pushing back your plate of food.
it's all in your head, jinwoo loves you. he loves you enough to live with you-
but a sudden soft moan heard coming from the kitchen breaks you out of your reveries, making you stiffly stand from your seat. your breath becomes more labored and uneven, reaching the kitchen to see something that absolutely broke your heart.
jinwoo was kissing your sister...
and your sister was kissing him back.
a choked sob escapes from you, the sound making jinwoo and hae-in pull away from each other. hae-in held a mortified expression, feeling ashamed for betraying your trust as jinwoo shakily calls out your name.
"wait, sarang, it's not-"
you ignore his words, casting a hateful glare at both hae-in and jinwoo.
"DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE CALL ME YOUR LOVE, SUNG JINWOO! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU USED ME TO GET TO MY SISTER! YOU'RE JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER MAN IN THE FUCKING UNIVERSE! I HATE YOU BOTH SO MUCH! NEVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN!"
your voice was dripping with venom, your throat aching from the intensity of your screams. yet still, the tears couldn't be stopped, with you running back to the living room as you grabbed your purse and sling the straps over your shoulder.
you ignore both hae-in and jinwoo's cries of your name, escaping the apartment while slamming the door shut.
running out into the downpour, your tears were blocking your vision, unable to see a damn thing. but truthfully, you didn't care where you went, or even what would happen to you.
your mind kept playing the image of jinwoo kissing hae-in over and over again-
and you kept berating yourself for falling for yet another man who wanted hae-in over you-
but this time, it hurt so much more than it ever did with shik-
because this time, you genuinely loved him.
you find yourself wandering aimlessly into the street, dimly aware of the incoming traffic as several horns blare at you all at once-
yet before any of the vehicles could crush your frame, you found yourself in the arms of a man, a man who knows you as he calls out your name.
"what's a lovely flower like you doing out here in the middle of the streets?"
you gasp, detecting a faint accent in his voice as your eyes met with the glowing, golden gaze of liu zhigang.
you gasp and ask him, "w-what are you doing here?"
he simply looks down at you, "i had a meeting with the chairman..."
the chinese hunter explains while keeping you in his arms, somehow managing to take you away from the incoming traffic. rain was felt pelting against his pristine suit, making your tears worsen since you were now filled with a guilt for troubling him.
"i-i'm sorry for ruining your suit in the r-rain."
liu simply scoffs in response.
"you nearly got run over by traffic, yet you're apologizing to me about my suit getting wet?"
his expression was a gentle one, filled with an uncharacteristically soft fondness as he makes his way over to his limousine. his driver sees him and opens the door for him, allowing liu to settle within the leather seats with you still kept tightly within his embrace.
with the door closed, liu focuses on warming you up, keeping you close to his body. while he was holding on to you, he kept hearing your ringtone going off several times in a row from your purse. lifting his eyebrow at you, liu asks, "what's with the thousand of calls coming from your phone?"
you shiver and give the chinese hunter a huff. "it's just my boyfriend- ex boyfriend, trying to reach me."
"and... is there a reason why he is your ex, my lovely flower?"
his question makes the tears return almost immediately. "i...i caught him kissing my sister."
"ah... he was kissing hae-in." liu's eyes seemed to glow with contempt, now unzipping your purse to take out your phone and answer the call for you. once he takes out the device, he could feel his eyes go wide upon seeing the name of your ex.
"sung jinwoo."
you were still silently sobbing, hiding your face within liu's chest, allowing him to answer the call.
"sarang-"
"sorry, she's quite busy right now." liu's tone was ice cold when he speaks to jinwoo all while drawing comforting circles against your back. "and i'm afraid you have lost your chance with this lovely flower, hunter sung."
you swore you heard a series of curses and threats coming from your phone, but liu simply hangs up the call, proceeding to block jinwoo's number before putting the phone back into your purse. after running a hand across his hair, he looks down at you with a kind expression.
framing your face with his two hands, he leans in to press a kiss against your forehead. "fear not, my lovely flower... i'll keep you with me and will help you heal your heart. you have experienced so much pain already, and i wish to help you."
you let out a few more tears while clinging to liu zhigang, feeling guilty for using him as a means to ease your heartache when it came to jinwoo-
but... just this once, you can be selfish, right?
here is this man who knows who you are- who knows hae-in and is still willing to choose you. fueled by desperation, you hang on to the collar of liu's suit and press your lips into his in a searing kiss, one that begged for his affections.
and as he kisses you back, you felt your heart turn lighter-
at least, for a mere few moments.
{ ... }
sung jinwoo became heartbroken when he realized you had left south korea to head to china with that snake, liu zhigang.
it was a series of unfortunate events that lead him to losing you-
him speaking to hae-in passionately about her raids-
him admiring hae-in's beauty one last time when he helped her grab your favorite dessert-
and hae-in looking at him with suspicion, testing his emotions when she kissed him in hopes of protecting her sister-
in hopes of protecting you.
when hae-in kissed him, he was so desperate to get away from her. to avoid raising your suspicions as he never wanted to come clean to you.
he never wanted to tell you that the reason why he wanted to get closer to you was because he wanted cha hae-in-
not when he found himself genuinely falling in love with you.
not when he found himself imagining a life together with you, sharing everything with you while growing a family with you.
but all of that was ruined the moment hae-in kissed him-
and now, he had lost you forever.
after the incident at dinner, jinwoo left hae-in's apartment and drove around for hours in his car. his blood was boiling with possessiveness and anger, hearing the smirk within liu zhigang's voice along with your choked sobs-
he did this to you.
he made you run into the arms of another man-
and he hated himself for it.
with a bottle of shoju in his hand, he continues to drink the clear liquid while scrolling through his phone, not leaving the apartment he shared with you- keeping tabs on you and liu. it has been two months since he had last heard from you, and the media coverage had spoke about your move to china as you found a new lover within the chinese hunter.
rumors circulated about yours and jinwoo's breakup, yet the shadow monarch didn't have the strength to correct anyone-
all he wanted was to get you back-
and the rest, he would figure out later.
as he wallows in his misery (taking another swig of shoju in the process) he hears a series of knocks coming from his door. a strange part of him hoped that it was you, which was what prompted him to drop his bottle of shoju and answer the door-
only to be met with disappointment upon seeing hae-in.
he nearly slams the door in her face, but... his mother had taught him better than that. and judging from the look of devastation on hae-in's features, he knew that she wasn't faring any better than he was at the loss of you.
"hello... c-can i come in?"
jinwoo remains silent, only giving her a nod when he steps aside to let her in. hae-in quietly thanks him before standing off awkwardly to the side.
an tense silence fills at the air, with hae-in speaking first. her eyes were clenched shut as she bows down to him. "i'm so sorry, for what i did. i only wanted to make sure that you felt nothing for me... that you genuinely loved my sister... and only her alone."
"i-i'm such an idiot... all this time, she's been so miserable standing next to me. every man that she falls for... they end up using her to get to me... and... and i couldn't stand the thought if you were the same way."
jinwoo couldn't say anything to comfort her, remaining silent as he stood there with his fists clenched to his sides, simply waiting for her to continue.
"but when i kissed you, and you simply froze in response... i knew that your feelings were genuine for her-"
"at first, i did use your sister to get to you." jinwoo interrupts hae-in with a strained voice
hae-in then stands back to her full height, her eyes still welling up with tears as they fell down her face in heavy droplets.
guilt was felt coursing through jinwoo's veins when he continues.
"but the more i tried to get her to agree to date me... the more i found myself liking her little quirks and mannerisms. from the way she scrunches her nose in annoyance... and that cute pout on her lips when she gets sad or upset..."
jinwoo closes his eyes and shakes his head, "she's amazing... and...and... i loved her more than i could ever love you."
hae-in continues to cry, but nods her head in response. "she is... she is so amazing, and i'm so happy you got to see the real her."
the young woman takes in a deep breath before facing him, giving him a look of determination when she says.
"please, for my sister's sake, allow me to protect your heart and stay by your side. i won't allow another woman to take you away from my sister. as a way of m-making things up to you, let me protect your feelings for my sister... and let her come back to you when she's ready."
jinwoo was taken aback by the sheer devotion seen within hae-in's eyes, and he becomes filled a plethora of emotions as well when he nods before giving her a hug.
his arms wrap tightly around her, and if he closed his eyes-
then he could imagine that he was holding you instead...
{ ... }
jinwoo's world was breaking before his very eyes.
he had successfully defeated the monarch's invasion on the world, yet... when he caught a glimpse of you-
he followed you, not even paying attention to the rulers when they had descended upon the earth.
of course, you would be back to the place where the battle was occurring-
after all, he was the sole reason the monarchs wished to invade the world to begin with.
when he sees a glimpse of your features before disappearing off into the crowd of hunters, he follows you.
your name was on the tip of his tongue, and when he could see your wisps of hair blowing in the wind, jinwoo swore that he could die happy right then and there.
his mouth was open, ready to call out to you when suddenly, the scene that plays before his eyes breaks his heart.
for he saw you in the arms of liu zhigang, his lips slotted perfectly against yours as his fingers were delved into your hair.
red-hot anger courses through jinwoo's veins, with him clenching his fists in response. he was ready to call out that bastard's name and pull him away from you-
but when liu stops kissing you, and jinwoo could see the genuine joy within your eyes-
it makes him hesitate.
his breathing was abnormal, and his heart had become broken into millions of pieces...
and in the midst of his agony was the moment the ruler appeared behind him.
"you have done well to win this war... however, your heart- it is in a turmoil."
jinwoo doesn't face the ruler, simply casting his gaze to where you were before saying,
"i wish to use the cup of reincarnation... i want to erase everything in this timeline and try again."
jinwoo's voice was empty, still staring at you with a longing as you were held within liu zhigang's embrace.
"that is an incredibly selfish reason. tell me, what would ashborn think?"
"i will face the monarchs on my own in the pocket dimension... just please, let me do this..."
jinwoo still doesn't acknowledge the ruler, yet he could sense the hesitance coming from the god-like being.
"are you certain... that this is what you want? no one shall remember your victory... and the cup of reincarnation has been nearly exhausted-"
"i don't care, just give me this one last chance... i'll do what i need to do, just please-"
jinwoo finally faces the ruler, desperation painting his features as they became twisted in a frown. he bows down to the ruler upon seeing the cup of reincarnation appear within their grasps.
"i wish you the best of luck, young monarch."
and with those final words, the world became bathed within a blinding, white light...
{ ... }
one moment you were in the arms of liu zhigang-
and the next, you find yourself falling out of bed, with your alarm clock ringing.
a melodious yet soft voice calls out your name, and you see a younger version of hae-in greeting you. "morning, sleepyhead!"
she was dressed in her school uniform, and your eyes go wide in realization.
hae-in was 14 again-
you were 14 again.
you remain settled on the ground, eyes going wide upon seeing her as you struggled to find the right words to say.
memories invade your mind, of her being a hunter and you being a healer-
of raids-
and armor-
and jinwoo-
"you-" your voice was about to take on a hateful tone, but you stopped yourself. somehow, you realized that hae-in didn't recall any of those moments, her grey eyes glazed over with complete innocence as she smiles down at you.
"i'm sorry, i know how cranky you get when you first wake up, but mom told me to make sure that you're up. so, come on? i want you to join track with me as well!"
biting back your words, you instead opt to let out a groan instead, standing back to your full height as your brushed your hand through your hair. stepping closer to hae-in, you giggle before tackling her in a bear hug, making her gasp before giggling along with you.
you didn't know why time got reversed... sending you back 10 years, but... you weren't going to complain-
since these few years of your life had to be the happiest moments for you.
{ ... }
two years had passed.
you are now 16 years old, beginning your second year of high school when a new student transfers to your homeroom.
and the mere sight of him was enough to make your stomach churn in response.
he wears the male version of your uniform, and while your teacher was introducing him to the class, he kept his glowing, purple eyes on you along with a lazy smile.
"class, i'd like you to welcome sung jinwoo, as he'll be spending the rest of the year with you all. please, treat him with kindness."
your throat turns dry, and jinwoo still doesn't look away from you. when jinwoo is asked to sit down, he casually saunters over to the desk right next to you.
your breathing becomes uneven, and you try to distract yourself by reviewing your lecture notes. yet still, he doesn't look away from you.
biting down on your bottom lip, you wonder if he'll back off when he realizes something...
something that you always kept a secret.
trailing your eyes upwards towards the teacher, you wait until his back was turned before whispering harshly to jinwoo.
"i remember everything, hunter sung."
his eyes go wide as a flurry of emotions were seen going through him-
but the one you recognized the most was guilt.
finally, he looks away from you, staring down at his unopened notebook.
"i'm sorry."
you ignored his apologies and chose to focus on the lecture instead, feeling your stomach twist further with the anxiety that was felt coursing through you.
{ ... }
you managed to avoid jinwoo throughout the day despite how he shared a class with you.
yet you were determined to keep some distance between the both of you.
when the last period ends for the day, you were ready to head to track with hae-in when a large hand felt on your wrist stops you. letting out a gasp, you were suddenly brought to a secluded area in the hallway-
with jinwoo looking down at you.
he shakily frames at your face with his two hands, gently caressing at your skin.
"i have missed you so much... please, you have to believe me! w-when you saw me and hae-in-"
you didn't allow him to finish, lifting up your hand to slap him across his face. a side of his cheek became red in response, and you felt the tiniest bit of guilt course through you at hurting him.
"i-i don't want to hear it, sung. i know what i saw and... and there's no way i can forgive you or forget."
you hear the way jinwoo's breath hitches in response, with him trapping you against the wall with his two hands.
"w-what can i do to obtain your forgiveness?" the desperation in his voice makes you tremble in response.
you refuse to meet his gaze, looking away from him when you bitterly tell him. “i’ll forgive you only when you’re crawling over broken glass to get to me.”
jinwoo's clenches his hands into fists in response, punching at the wall momentarily before pushing himself away from you. he walks off with his hands shoved within the pocket of his pants, making you slide down against the wall in response.
feeling emotionally exhausted, you decide to close your eyes and fall asleep... feeling too tired to care that you were going to miss track...
{ ... }
the fire started in the chemistry room, with the members of the chemistry club quickly evacuating as the flames began to spread across the school.
the alarms had gone off as all of the students came out of the building and out into the field.
yet jinwoo's heart couldn't help but twist with panic when he saw no signs of you.
"no, please NO!" jinwoo was already on the move when he sees hae-in's crying face.
"hae-in, where is she? please tell me your sister is safe!"
he clutches on to her shoulders, yet felt despair fill him as she shakes her head in response.
"no, she n-never made it to practice."
she was still inside the building-
jinwoo immediately turns away from hae-in all while calling out your name. he berates himself for not assigning a soldier to you, surrounding himself within the black and purple aura before re-entering the burning school.
even with the smoke filling his lungs, he calls out your name, ignoring the flames and how it licked at his uniform. he covers his mouth to hold his breath, quickly reaching the third floor where he had last left you-
only to see you slumped against the wall, the flames growing stronger as the windows shatter in response to the heat. he lets out a grunt, but doesn't let that stop him from reaching you.
so, he begins his slow and steady descent to you, not even feeling the broken glass piercing at his skin. he keeps going, not stopping until he sees your unconscious form directly in front of him.
fear clutches his heart when he brings you closer to his chest, shielding you from the smoke and flames before making a shadow exchange towards the school's gates, away from the crowd as he focused solely on healing you.
the moment jinwoo could taste the fresh air was when he looks down at you. you were still unconscious, which was what prompts jinwoo to surround himself in his dark aura before pressing his lips against yours, filling your lungs with oxygen while simultaneously healing you.
within just a few minutes, you let out a sharp gasp before shoving yourself away from him, letting out a series of coughs and wheezes. jinwoo keeps a tight embrace around you, never once leaving your side as he continues to gently heal you.
"it's okay... you're okay..." he repeats those two phrases like a neverending mantra, still holding on to you tightly when your coughs slowly begin to subside.
"j-jinwoo?"
he basks in the way you say his name, with you slowly looking back at him. tears well up within your eyes when you throw your arms around his neck.
"i... i remember it feeling so hot... yet, i couldn't move or breathe." your voice was shaky when you met his gaze, "you... you saved me...?"
jinwoo nods, lifting up a hand to brush back your hair, making you see the fresh cuts and blood against the palm of his hand. with a gasp, you gingerly take a hold of his hand within yours. "you're hurt...!"
but the young shadow monarch simply shakes his head in response, leaning closer to press a kiss against the back of your hand. "as long as i was able to save and protect you... that's all that matters."
filled with millions of emotions for him, you gently place the palm of your hand against his cheek, swallowing thickly before admitting to him, "i still love you."
jinwoo's eyes go wide momentarily before narrowing, his glowing gaze now filled with adoration for you when he leans in closer to you, "and i have always loved you..."
feeling happy to have you back in his arms, jinwoo leans forward to kiss you fully, tightening his arms around you as he swore to never let you go ever again...
{ ... }
the fire was suddenly put out, and hae-in swore she saw a bunch of shadowy figures surrounding the interior of the building, right where the fire had spread...
however, she quickly ignores the feeling of seeing such strange figures when she recognizes your lone figure being held by jinwoo.
she was ready to cry, sobbing with relief at the sight of your safety-
but the moment she sees jinwoo holding you so tightly while inching his lips closer to yours-
hae-in turns away from the scene, walking back to the crowd in hopes of comforting her other friends, knowing that you were in good hands. as she meets her friends and wraps them up in a tight embrace, she couldn't help but think back to her sister-
the young woman smiles, feeling elated that you had finally found someone who would always choose you first...

#####
You and Jinwoo have been friends for a long time. You two met in high school when you were assigned to make a science project together. You didn't like him much at first because he was cold and kind of rude, but as the weeks went by you came to like him. So you started being friends, and soon enough you were pretty much inseparable. You followed him everywhere you went, he pretty much did the same.
When it was time for you two to start college, you decided it would be nice to get an apartment together, as neither of you wanted to live with strangers. And since you were always together you thought it was a good opportunity. And it was, until he got a girlfriend.
Jinwoo explained to you that they met at the cafe near your school and that she was working there until she moved to her dad's place in about a month, where she would be staying for a year as she needed to help him with important family stuff. And now suddenly she was his whole world and everything else, and mostly everyone else was put aside.
You were happy for him, you truly were, but at the same time you were also sad that he didn't spend time with you anymore. And not to mention she was sleeping over every night, and spending every weekend.
It went on like this for about three weeks: during the day both you and Jinwoo were busy with college, then when classes ended, you went back home and not even an hour later his girlfriend showed up. They would spend all of their time in his room laughing and being happy while you were alone trying to keep yourself busy. It was hard for you, because you had no time to ask Jinwoo to spend time with you instead of being with his girlfriend, and at the same time you felt it would go wrong if you asked him to spend time with you instead of her, because you knew she was going away for a long time in not even two weeks.
But today, while Jinwoo was driving the both of you home from college, he started talking about how his girlfriend had a week off of work before leaving, and he asked if it was ok with you for her to spend it at your apartment. You were uncomfortable to tell him you'd prefer not to, but at the same time you needed to let your feelings out as you've been bottling them up for way too long. So you went for it
''Well to be honest Jinwoo.. I'd prefer if she spent a couple days instead of a full week.. Because we haven't spent any time together in three weeks and it's been hard on me. And I don't have time to ask you otherwise because when we finish school she comes over and she's always there during the weekends..'' you took a shaky breath before adding ''and i need to spend time with you..''
Jinwoo looked at you as he stopped at a red light.
''I understand.. I've been wanting to spend time with you too and I realized I didn't split my time right, I'm sorry'' he said before looking back in front of him.
You were happy to hear those words, because you needed to hear them and have been needing to hear them for a while now.
''I don't want you to think I'm being selfish, but it's just that you're my best friend Jinwoo, and not being able to spend time with you hurts me''
He looked back at you for a split second before turning his head back forward as the light turned green. He didn't say anything but instead nodded. He kept driving and when he got home, you two walked inside your shared apartment and Jinwoo called his girlfriend. You went to the kitchen to start preapring dinner and didn't hear the conversation he was having with her, but you knew he was on the phone with her as you heard him say her name.
You kept cooking and brought the food to the living room as it was ready and found Jinwoo sitting on the couch playing one of his favorite video games.
''I told her I'd spent the evening with you'' he said while putting the controller away on the coffee table.
''That's nice of you, thank you''
Jinwoo smiled some and grabbed his plate, thanking you for preparing dinner. You two ate and talked, having fun like before which made you happy. You could feel something was off with Jinwoo, but you didn't know if it was because of you or not. As you finished eating, he received a notification from a text and as he read you could feel his mood go down even more.
''Jinwoo?''
He looked at you and hummed.
''Is everything okay?''
He sighed and put his phone away.
''Yeah.. It's just [girlfriend name].. She didn't react well to me telling her I'd spend time with you''
''Oh..'' you said, a wave of regret and guilt hitting you.
''She said that she's been wanting to spend time with me ever since this morning''
You felt even more guilty and looked down.
''I'm sorry.. It's my fault..''
Jinwoo looked at you and shook his head.
''No of course not, I'm the one that made the decision'' he said.
''But if I didn't ask this wouldn't have happened..''
Jinwoo shook his head again and reassured you that it was in no way your fault, which of course you knew but you couldn't help and feel guilty.
''She didn't have to react like this anyway'' he added.
You nodded and watched as he put his phone away again.
''Let's watch a movie? We can watch your favorite~'' he said, making you smile.
You grabbed a blanket and put it on you, staying where you were. You normally would've cuddled Jinwoo but with the situation you thought it was best not to.
''Why are you so far away? Come here'' he said while opening his arm to give you room.
You smiled and got closer to him, laying your head on his chest as he wrapped his arm around you. You put the blanket on him too as it was big enough for you two to share and watched as Jinwoo pressed play on the movie. You spent the evening as you normally would've and it made you happy. Because you finally had your best friend back.
Or so you thought. The next day, which was a saturday, you got up and made coffee as you usually would do. Jinwoo woke up not long after you and joined you in the kitchen to make himself a coffee. The two of you spent the afternoon together and you thought that with the talk you had yesterday that he would spend all weekend with you, but oh, how wrong you were. Around 4pm, his girlfriend came over. You were defeated. You were also sad. Because was all that talking from yesterday meaningless? Did he think spending one day with you was enough? You had all those questions in your mind and you couldn't find an answer to it. And neither could you ask for one as she was around. But you figured that Jinwoo knew better and that she was only gonna spend a few days, and that then he'd spend a few with you before she came back for the remaining days before leaving to her dad's.
3 days went by and she was still here. You were desperate to ask Jinwoo if she was gonna stay the week but never had the occasion. Until that day you were in the kitchen doing some dishes and he came to get snacks.
''Jinwoo?''
He hummed while searching the pantry for something to eat.
''Is she spending the week or not?''
''I don't know'' he said kind of on a rude tone.
You were a bit taken aback and added kind of silently.
''Oh, cause well as you know I'd like to spend time with you''
He grabbed his snack and walked off. You sighed to yourself, feeling like you ever talking about it was a bad idea. You should've just kept it to yourself and wait until she was gone for good.
The next day, you were surprised to see Jinwoo get out of his room and actually spend the afternoon with you. You two gamed together and had fun, it made you happy. And it was all you got.
This time 6 days went by, this was now her 11th day at your apartment and you couldn't take being pushed aside anymore. It got so bad that you were silently crying in your room as the two of them were laughing. You felt like you weren't wanted, because the only time you spent with him was when you told him, otherwise he would've stayed with her. And it was painful.
But later that evening, she left for good. You were still sad and in your room. You stopped crying but you felt like it could start back at any moment. And you were right, cause the tears started falling down your cheeks a few minutes later.
At first you were crying silently, but the sobs quickly followed. And as much as you tried to be silent, it didn't work. And Jinwoo heard. There was a knock at your door followed by his voice.
''(y/n)? are you okay?''
''Y-yeah, I'm fine'' you said in between two sobs.
Jinwoo knew you too well and knew you were lying.
''Come on, tell me please?''
''I'm fine Jinwoo'' you lied again, this time being able to control your sobbing.
You heard him sigh.
''I'll be in my room if you want to talk''
You considered not saying anything but the words were stronger than you.
''It's not that i don't want to talk, but it's not easy to talk about''
You could tell he was confused because he didn't say anything and you heard him take a couple steps to his room.
You laid down in bed and started crying even more, not even trying to hold back the sobs at this point. You cried under the blanket while hugging a plushie he got you for your birthday last year. Jinwoo couldn't stand to just hear you cry without doing anything and so he walked back to your room and opened the door without knocking. He walked to your bed and laid beside you, pulling you closer to him. You simply kept crying, and he stayed silent, knowing you'd open up if you wanted to.
''I just wanted to spend time with you Jinwoo..'' you said while crying. ''But instead she spent so many days here''
''She spent those days because she was gonna leave..'' he took a small break and continued ''you both are jealous of the other, it's hard on me you know''
You raised your head, getting a little mad. Did he really just say that? You pushed him away a bit and sat up, leaving the plushie on the bed.
''I'm not jealous of her Jinwoo, I'm just saying that for a month, even more, I was pushed away. I told you i wanted to spend time with you, you said the same so I thought we were on the same page and yet I was still pushed away. Do you know how sad it made me Jinwoo? I've never felt more alone than these past weeks''
You felt something, a new emotion. It was pain, but it felt different.
''I thought you'd be happy for me..'' he said while sitting up too.
''I am! That's not the issue''
There it was again, the same pain.
Why did you feel it? You were happy for him.. really...
''Then what's the issue?'' he asked.
''Did you not hear me speak a few seconds ago? I said I was sad and hurt to be pushed away and not being able to spend time with you. It doesn't have anything to do with me being jealous or not being happy for you''
You teared up again, but this time for a different reason. It was the same reason as the pain. You never realized it until now. But you had feelings for him.
''I'm sorry, I didn't think it was gonna make you feel like this''
You shook your head, not being able to let any words out. You couldn't believe you had feelings for him. Jinwoo looked at you and put a hand on your arm gently as he felt bad for making you feel like this.
''Look at me'' he said softly.
You did as he said and looked at him. The pain was showing in your eyes, and Jinwoo hated it. He especially hated it because it was his fault.
''I'll make it up to you, I promise'' he said.
You didn't say anything still. Jinwoo wiped your cheek as a new tear fell down and you looked at him.
''Do you want to cuddle..?'' he asked.
You nodded tiredly and watched as he laid back down. You laid beside him and grabbed the plushie back as Jinwoo wrapped his arm around you. You buried your head in chest and closed your eyes. Jinwoo puts a hand in your hair and softly plays with it to relax you, which worked like a wonder.
After a while of being like this, Jinwoo looked at you.
''Are you feeling better now?'' he asked.
You shook your head.
''Is there anything I can do to help?''
You shook your head again, which made him sigh.
''I know you're hiding something.. Can you tell me?''
''Even if I tell you Jinwoo it won't change anything''
''You don't know that, please..''
You sighed, looked at him, and said quietly.
''I love you, and you pushing me away made me realize it..''
Jinwoo stayed silent for a bit.
''See? I knew it wouldn't change anything''
''I'll fix this.. I promise I will'' he said.
You nodded, trusting him, even if you didn't know what he coud do to fix it.
But about two weeks later he came back with the solution. He asked if you two could talk and you agreed. You put your pc aside as Jinwoo sat on your bed, facing you.
''I broke up with [girlfriend name]''
You looked at him, a bit shocked as you weren't expecting it.
''I'm sorry..''
''No, don't be. She woudn't stop being jealous of you over no reason and I didn't like it so I broke up with her''
''Thank you for standing up for me..'' you said a bit sadly.
''I have to''
You looked at him as he said that.
''So now we can go back to what we had?'' you asked on the same sad tone as earlier.
''Well yes.. But I might have better'' Jinwoo said, which left you confused.
He noticed and smiled.
''Look, I've been thinking since we talked and what you told me made me realize thing. First that I really wasn't nice for pushing you away even after we talked, and second..'' he sighed and looked down for a few seconds before looking back at you ''Well.. I realized i have feelings for you too..''
You were too stunned to speak. And it took a few seconds before you were actually able to say words.
''But you were dating her..''
''And as bad as it sounds, I think I needed to date someone else to realize I liked you.. Because I mistook it for friendship'' he said, hoping you wouldn't get mad.
''It does sound bad.. But I understand, because I confused my love for friendship too..'' you said looking down.
Jinwoo took your hand and you looked back at him.
''So.. Do you want to go back to what we had or go for the other option?'' he asked.
You smiled.
''I wanna go for the other option''
Jinwoo smiled too and got closer before kissing you. You kissed him back and smiled, happy that it turned out the way it did.

Hi I saw that your requests are open! I was wondering if you watched Death Note or have some rudimentary knowledge of it.
If you do, can you do a Sung Jin-woo x Death Note User!Reader?
Thanks!
I have seen it! Not all of it but I do get the jist of what it's talking about! I apologize if it is short, my brain is still trying to recover from a long week at work. I changed it up a bit and had the shinigami act completely different from how the anime is, and this doesn't really follow the anime either. I wanted the shinigami to be able to talk with Jinwoos shadows. Hope you enjoy it!
A/n: This was total garbage in my opinion. I didn't like how it turned out but I hope that you enjoy it nonetheless.
You held the book in your hand and glared at it. You knew very well what this was and you didn’t want to become corrupted with this book, but you knew that you couldn’t get rid of it as easily as you had picked it up off the streets. You sighed and stuffed the death note book in your bag before heading to meet up with your best friend Sung JinWoo. You both had known each other ever since you both were born and were nearly attached at the hip. Your shinigami had been curious as to what your relationship to this man was and you had told her multiple times that he was a friend you knew since you were little but, your shinigami knew you were hiding something.
“Come on Y/n! I know you are crushing on your friend Jinwoo. I can see it in your eyes every time you go to his house to get help with homework or to study said homework. Your eyes get these little hearts in them and you start to talk weird.” You rolled your eyes at her words but the blush on your face said otherwise. “Ok, you got me. I do like him but I don’t think he likes me that way at all. We have been best friends since we were in diapers and I’m pretty sure that he has a thing for that one chic that came and asked to join his guild.” You said crossing your arms and looking down dejected.
Your shinigami, Cami sighed and placed a hand on your shoulder. “Don’t think too much about it. Just try and get through college before you start worrying about boys and falling in love.” She said before she disappeared for the day. You sighed before heading to your apartment. You tossed your things to the ground and flopped on your bed. You closed your eyes and hoped that  a good night's sleep would help with the rampaging thoughts that cluttered your brain. As you were falling asleep, you didn’t notice the gate that opened in your room. The creature stepped out of the gate and looked around. It started walking around not caring what it was doing or what it knocked over. You woke with a panic a few minutes later when you heard things cluttering to the floor.
You wanted to scream but a hand slammed over your mouth. You panicked but when the creature picked you up with no hint of straining, you started kicking around and tried to get its hands off your mouth. It swiftly jumped from your window and took off. Tears filled your eyes as your kidnapper jumped across buildings. You closed your eyes as tears flew out freely. A loud screech was heard. You opened your eyes to see not only your shinigami grinning from ear to ear, but Jinwoo riding the shadow dragon he had captured not too long ago. The dragon swung at the thing that had you in its grasp causing it to let you go. The dragon dove down as you fell towards the ground.
You closed your eyes but never felt the ground collide with your back. You opened your eyes to the dragon flying peacefully and Jinwoo holding you close to his chest. “I’m sorry. I should have had a shadow in your shadow to protect you. I’m sorry.” He whispered. You looked up at him before pressing your hand to his face. He looked at you and smiled softly. You stole your nerves and did something that you thought you would never do, but you leaned up and kissed him. His eyes widened before his eyes closed and he pressed his lips against yours. He pulled back and smiled lovingly at you. “Also, when were you going to tell me you had a shinigami following you around.” He said grinning. “Shit.” You mumbled, earning a laugh and Jinwoo’s arms wrapping around your waist and pulling you into his chest.
“It’s alright. Cami showed herself to me. Well, I found your death note and touched it. I was curious. So, I know what she looks like.” He said smiling. You laughed before hugging Jinwoo tightly. “Sorry I didn’t tell you I was a death note user. I was just so nervous that you wouldn’t want to stay friends because of how other death note users are.” Jinwoo shook his head at your statement and pulled you even closer to his body. He pressed a kiss to the side of your head and smiled. “You are nothing like them. You haven’t even written any names in the book and that just makes you stronger then the others, and Cami seems to have adjusted to it as well.” Jinwoo said. “I’m just glad that you are safe. That’s all. I had been warned that a gate was going to open. I just wasn’t expecting it to be in your room.” He said.
You smiled and cuddled up close to him. “Thanks for rescuing me Jinwoo. I really appreciate it a lot.” You said. Your eyes started to grow heavy as you flew in the air. Jinwoo noticed your drooping eyes and commanded the dragon to return to his house. “I love you Y/n.” He whispered before you had completely fallen asleep in his arms. He smiled happily as he finally was able to hold you like he had wanted too. He carefully carried you into his house and laid you in his bed before he went to the couch and fell asleep, a tired but happy smile on his lips.

Note: This is my entry for the Valentine’s day collab hosted by @kpoppwriter ! It was inspired by prompt 12: “You don’t have to if you don’t want to”
what i listened to while writing: I Like You by DAY6
Tumblr media
On your first day at university, you got lost a total of three times, were late to all of your classes because of that, and you almost missed an important, required meeting for all first-years of your program. Almost.
As you were rushing back to your dorm, tired of the long day that you had just endured, you felt a hand gently grab your arm and stop you from moving forward. You almost grabbed the hand and twisted it out of anger until you looked up and realized who it was.
“[y/n]... right? You’re a first-year, no?” the person asked. You couldn’t quite remember his name, but you knew that he was a well-beloved senior in your program. During Welcome Week, he had been leading most of the events.
“Yeah, that’s me!”
You didn’t dare to ask his name, not wanting him to know that you had forgotten.
“I’m Jinjin. I’m sure you’ve seen me around,” he said, giving you the answer to your question without you even needing to ask.
“Yeah!” you say again, not sure what to say. This was the first time a senior in your program was talking with you one-on-one, so you didn’t want to embarrass yourself.
“I see you’re heading towards the dorms. Have you forgotten about the mandatory meeting for first-years?”
You gasped, eyes shaking as you realized that you had, in fact, forgotten. Jinjin smiled, his soft eyes disappearing into pretty crescents.
“You know how to get to the building, right?” he asked.
Your heart was racing. There was just one simple answer to that question… no. But for some reason, you had such a hard time saying that word. You felt like that word burdened whoever you were uttering it to, and for that reason, you always obliged with whatever came your way.
“Yeah!” you said for the third time.
“Okay, get there soon! It’s starting in five minutes,”Jinjin said, walking off and waving goodbye.
You pretended to walk towards this building, having no clue which one it even was, until Jinjin told you that you were going the wrong way.
“It’s okay. I actually have some things to do near there, so I can walk with you,” he said, leading the way.
How embarrassing, you thought to yourself. Now Jinjin knows that you pretended to know where you were going…
“It’s hard to ask for directions, right?” Jinjin asked you, walking with his hands in his pockets.
“Yeah…” you said, again.
“It feels like you’re a tourist even though you’re just a student on campus. But don’t worry, everyone here understands. We’ve all had to ask for directions before. Once, I asked for directions and it turned out I was standing right in front of the building I needed to find!” Jinjin explained, laughing softly. The sound was contagious and you laughed along. Your shoulders, that had been tense this entire time, dropped, and you felt yourself relaxing for the first time that day.

After that day, you tried your best to avoid Jinjin because of how embarrassed you felt, but somehow, the two of you would always run into one another. It would never end at just ‘hello’.
You were at the campus bookstore the next day, picking up some textbooks that you needed when someone tapped your shoulder. When you turned around, there he was. The boy who you’d embarrassed yourself in front of the day before.
“Hello! Are you picking up some books?”
You nodded, awkwardly returning to the shelves to scan them. Again, you weren’t sure what to say to your senior, but also again, Jinjin had a strange way of making you feel comfortable around him.
“Oh, don’t buy those books, [y/n]. It’s not worth the cost…” Jinjin said, pointing to the heavy load in your hands. When you blinked up at him, waiting for an explanation, he sighed.
“I doubt you’ll read them… But if you really want them, do you want to borrow mine? I still have them and they’re as good as new!”
“That would be great… How much should I pay you?”
Jinjin laughed.
“I said borrow. You can borrow them - there’s no need to pay!”
“Really?” you asked.
Jinjin leaned against the shelves and smiled, nodding.
“Can I drop them off at your dorm later today?” he asked.
When you nodded, he excused himself and walked towards a different part of the store. Thanks to Jinjin, you left the store empty-handed. It sounds sad, but actually, you were saving a lot of money thanks to him!
Just as he promised, he met you on the main floor of your residence building with a lot of books in his hands. It looked heavy, so you offered to help, but he said he didn’t need any.
He walked up three flights of stairs (the elevator was broken), so by the time you had reached your room, he was sweating a ton. His veins were showing and his muscles protruding. He was such a cutie… you hadn’t expected him to be fully built with muscles.
He collapsed on the floor of your room once he placed the books on your desk, leaning his head back against your bed frame.
“Are you okay? Let me get you some water!”
When you brought him some, he chugged it all in one go and gasped for air once he was done. For some reason, that made you laugh, and Jinjin frowned at you.
“Is my pain funny to you?”
You pressed your lips together, shaking your head ‘no’.
“Anyways, there’s going to be a party for our program so we can introduce the first-years. Do you want to come?”
Gosh.. there it was. Another instance where you wanted to say no but just couldn’t. Why was it so hard for you to say ‘no’ in the most crucial situations?
“Uh… sure!” you said quietly. You weren’t fond of parties. Being a shy person made it hard to interact with strangers. Even if the people at the party weren’t really strangers, since they were all in your program, talking to them and socializing would be hard.
Jinjin scanned your face with his eyes.
“You don’t look like you want to go, though.”
“What? No… that’s… not true.”
“You look like I’m forcing you to go somewhere…” he said, squinting at you.
“You don’t have to come, [y/n]. If anyone asks, I’ll just say… you were studying?”
“But it’s only the first week… there isn’t much studying to do!”
“Shhh, I’ll tell them you have a quiz you’re worried about,” Jinjin said, standing up and waving away your worries with his hands.
“But-”
“Don’t worry, [y/n]. I’ve got it covered.”
-
“[y/n], you said you’d treat me out to food as a thanks for borrowing my books, right? Can we go eat somewhere today?” Jinjin asked you over the phone.
“But I didn’t… say that…”
“Oh, right… you didn’t. I wasn’t trying to make use of your inability to say no or anything! I swear! I was honestly just trying to find an excuse to have a meal with you but… you don’t have to treat me if you don’t want to!”
“Jinjin, you don’t need to make any excuses for having a meal with me. I’m always down to share a meal.”
“Really?” he asked, his voice somehow sounding like a happy puppy.
In the evening, the two of you went to a pizza place just outside campus to indulge in junk food. Things were getting stressful with exams approaching, and there was nothing like pizza to make you feel better.
When Jinjin asked you if you liked a certain flavour of pizza, you couldn’t help but agree, even though you hated that flavour the most. You just didn’t want to upset him…
He noticed the way you nibbled and tried to hide the fact that you were almost gagging on the taste. There was a soft thud as he dropped his pizza onto his plate.
“[y/n]... you don’t like this flavour, do you?”
“It’s fine!” you said, trying to take a big bite but struggling.
“It’s clearly not…” Jinjin noted, taking the pizza from your hands, his warm hand brushing against yours as he put the pizza away.
“Tell me what kind of pizza you want right now and I’ll go get it,” he said, pushing back in his chair, the legs scraping against the floor.
“You don’t have to!” you said, also standing up nervously.
“No, [y/n]. You don’t have to. Please, when you’re with me, don’t ever worry about anything. Only do the things that you want to do.”
You could hear your heartbeat flooding your ears as he said this. How did he have the ability to make you feel so comfortable?
When he ordered the pizza that you wanted, he watched as you ate with heart.
“Why aren’t you eating?” you asked him.
“I’m full,” he said, continuing to watch you. You found it awkward to eat as he watched, so Jinjin continued to eat his own pizza despite saying that he was full just moments ago.
“Wait… so why did you want to eat today so badly?” you suddenly asked Jinjin.
“What do you mean? I thought you said I didn’t need a reason to want to eat with you?”
“I’m just curious now,” you said, slyly taking a bite of your pizza.
“I just wanted to see you…” Jinjin mumbled in-between mouthfuls of food.
“Hm?”
“Nothing… I’m just hungry,” Jinjin said, taking a big bite of his food.
-
Once the second semester began, more people had picked up on your struggles with saying ‘no’. In group projects, all of the workload was forced onto your shoulders. People dragged you to parties and events that you didn’t want to nor had the time to attend, and you were sick and tired of everyone. Everyone except for Jinjin, of course, whom you’d managed to grow extremely close to, despite him being your senior.
“Give me your phone,” Jinjin demanded, crossing his arms over the library desk.
“Jinjin, calm down-”
He snatched it from your hands before you could finish your sentence and sighed once he saw the messages on your screen. Then, he began furiously typing a response. You leaned forward and tried to reach for your phone, but Jinjin wouldn’t let you have it. He only gave it back once he was done typing.
“These rascals… [y/n], I’ve told you to say no when they make excuses for not being able to do the work.”
“It’s hard,” you whined, eyes widening once you read the nasty response Jinjin had written.
This is a group project and there will be no free riders. I know you’re all lying. Everyone will do their part as we decided, or else you’ll get a zero as I’ll be showing the professor these lies that you’ve all messaged me.
“Jinjin, this message is so scary.”
“You have to be scary for them to take you seriously!” Jinjin says, his loud voice earning him glares from a couple of students.
“I know it’s hard… Whenever you get these messages, tell me and I’ll reply for you, okay?” Jinjin tells you.
As the two of you returned to your studies, you noticed a part of Jinjin’s forearm glowing. The ceiling of the library was all glass, so the sunlight was able to shine down sometimes. Today, the sun had decided to bless Jinjin.
Acting on your sudden urge, you stretched out your arm to poke Jinjin’s forearm, right where the sun’s rays were shining on it. He looked up after your finger collided with his skin, confused.
“Look, the sun’s shining on you!” you pointed out, amused. Jinjin smiled seeing your reaction to something so simple.
“You used to be so scared of me… now you even poke my arm?” he asked.
“Oh… I’m sorry!” you said, retracting yourself away from him and returning to your notes. Jinjin watched you for a few moments as you tried to study, admiring your beautiful face from only an arm’s length away.
-
“Drink up drink up!”
Glasses clinked together inside the warm pub, the sound echoing in your ears. Once everyone’s glasses met their lips, the only sounds that could be heard were the murmuring of chatter that filled the slightly busy space and something sizzling in a pan far off towards the kitchen.
You took a sip of your glass of water, trying to hide it from all your college friends. They were quick to catch on, though.
“It seems like [y/n] isn’t drinking tonight,” the person next to you said, pushing your glass of water forward for all to see.
“Do you think we’re a joke, [y/n]? We came to this pub to drink!” another person said.
“Yeah, if you’re not going to drink, then pay for the bill.”
Your heart was racing. Once again, a moment where you wanted to say ‘no’. You needed to say no but just couldn’t.
“Okay, okay!” you gave in.
Everyone cheered.
“Someone, fill a glass for [y/n]!”
Jinjin, sitting across from you, started to pour the contents of a bottle into a shot glass. Of all people, you would not expect him to do this. But when he handed it to you, he gave you a wink while smiling from ear-to-ear. Though you’d only known him for a year now, you knew this meant you could trust him.
Taking a deep breath, you lifted the glass to your lips, tilted your head back and downed its contents.
Water.
It was water.
You laughed to yourself when you realized, but your friends just thought that the ‘alcohol’ was cheering you up.
“That’s right!” the person next to you said, nudging you.
Jinjin filled your glass two more times with water until everyone stopped paying so much attention to you. Then, the two of you stepped out for some air.
“I thought you were trying to help me learn how to say no,” you told Jinjin, who pulled the hood of his hoodie over his head.
He smiled. This boy seriously never stopped smiling at you.
“That was an emergency. I knew it would be hard to say no when everyone was staring at you like that, so I thought I’d give you a hand. Was that so wrong of me?” he asked you, pointing dramatically to himself.
You shook your head, pushing him slightly. He pretended to stumble, making you laugh.
“Just know that if you ever don’t want to do something, you don’t have to do it. Especially when I’m around,” Jinjin said. The hanging lights from the exterior of the pub were making his crescent eyes twinkle.
“I know. You tell me that everyday,” you said, feeling embarrassed. Sometimes Jinjin acted like he was your dad or something.
“And I should. Until you understand that, it’ll still be hard for you to say ‘no’.”
He gently patted the top of your head before heading back inside, leaving you there in the chilly air. But the air didn’t feel so cold anymore, especially after he patted your head like that.
-
“What if left… wuz right and right… wuz lefht?” Jinjin asked, waving his arms around wildly and almost falling over forwards.
“Jinjin please stop walking away from me and just hold onto my shoulder so I can get you home safely,” you whined, chasing after him for the seventh time.
After getting angry at your friends for trying to slip alcohol into your glass since they realized you’d been drinking water, Jinjin yelled at everyone at the table and declared that anytime anyone made you drink, he’d down the drinks for you instead. Now, you were left with a very drunk Jinjin to carry home.
“If lefht iz right then am I wrong?” Jinjin asked, finally stopping and facing you.
His knees were bent in a weird way and his small frame looked so adorable in the massive hoodie he was wearing. While he was distracted, you raised his arm and wrapped it around your shoulder, holding him by the waist so he wouldn’t escape.
“Nooooo!” he squealed, squirming and trying to run away again.
“What is your problem?! It’s me, [y/n]! Why do you want to run away so badly?”
“That’s the problem. You’re [y/n] and… when…. When you hold me like thissss… I… get….. Confused!” he suddenly yelled the last word, making you jump.
“Confused? Why?”
Then you realized that your hand was wrapped around his waist.
“What do you mean?” you quietly asked.
“[y/n] I like you! So stop… confuse… confusing me…”
“But Jinjin, I like you too…” you admitted, your heart swelling.
This man was the only person who made you feel comfortable when you were around him. He had become such a close and dear friend, he was cute as heck and every time he’d pat your head, somehow that was enough to make your heart do a million cartwheels?
“No, no, [y/n]. It’s okay. You can sayyyyyy. No. You can. Ssssay it,” Jinjin grumbled, still continuing to walk along with you.
“But Jinjin, I mean it this time. I really do.”
Jinjin let out a strange gasping sound and then went quiet, leaving you alone with your thoughts while you dragged this man’s heavy body to his apartment.
What was the use in telling him in his drunken state that you liked him, anyway? It’s not like he would remember. Oh, well. At least you knew he liked you back! But how in the world would you bring this up tomorrow…
-
February 14th. The next day was Valentine’s day. You had to confront Jinjin about his drunk confession on Valentine’s day of all days?!?!
You woke up in a seated position, your head resting against a bed frame. Then, you remembered that you had walked Jinjin home last night and he didn’t let you leave, so you had been trapped in his room until you fell asleep.
Beside you, Jinjin was still softly snoring in his white t-shirt, so you got up and tried to make some breakfast. Just after a few minutes though, Jinjin immediately woke up.
“[y/n]? What are you doing here?” he asked in his raspy voice. His low tone made you shiver.
“Do you not remember last night?” you asked, trying to sound confident.
“No… we were out drinking! And those stupid friends of yours were forcing you to drink… Then I drank a lot…. And then?”
“And then?” you urged him.
He didn’t answer.
You sighed in relief. He’s forgotten!
You heard rustling and Jinjin got up and walked to the bathroom. Or at least, that’s what you thought he was doing, but he actually left the house.
When breakfast was ready and you couldn’t find him anywhere, you got concerned and began to call him. No answer.
You sat at the small table outside his kitchen, sighing at the food in front of you. Where had this man left in his pyjamas?
After a few minutes, you heard the doorknob turning and Jinjin walked in… with a whole bouquet of flowers in his hands. Your first reaction was to laugh, because his hair was a mess and his face was so puffy and tired, but this man was holding the prettiest flowers… it was irony in the flesh.
“[y/n],” he said, kicking off his shoes and cutely hobbling over towards you.
“What is it?” you asked, still trying not to laugh.
“I’m sorry that it turned out this way, but… I like you.”
Hearing that just made you laugh even harder - why were you laughing so much today? Just the fact that this man had already confessed yesterday without knowing and was doing it today too… for some reason that was funny.
“You’re laughing?” Jinjin asked, starting to also laugh himself.
“Okay, yes, I know. It’s Valentine’s day and I should have done something better, but when I woke up and you were next to me, there wasn’t much I could do! I had different plans… I was going to confess to you right when I saw you, and I was planning to look nicer than I do now, but-”
“You look great,” you said, your laughter having ceased now.
“Are you being sarcastic?”
“No, I swear. These flowers are so pretty, too.”
“Did you hear anything I said?”
“Yes, Jinjin. And I heard you yesterday too, when you drunkenly said that you like me.”
“I… said that yesterday?” Jinjin asked, his legs giving out as he fell onto the chair across from you.
“Yes, you did. And… you were really cute,” you said, mumbling the last part.
“Well, what did you say?” Jinjin asked, awaiting your response.
“I…” You froze. It was easier to tell him how you felt last night when he was drunk and out of it, but now you were afraid.
What was there to be afraid of when Jinjin already liked you?!
You took a deep breath before speaking.
“I said I like you too?”
“Really?” Jinjin asked, standing up and excitedly running around his tiny dorm.
You laughed, watching your senior and now boyfriend yell while the food in front of you continued to get cold. Weirdly enough, even the flowers looked like they were smiling at you.

Vice - BTS Mafia Au
Tumblr media
Mafia!BTS x reader
Summary: After finding yourself in a desperate situation, you’re foolish enough to do anything for money, and you somehow find yourself held captive by the members of Seoul’s most ruthless gang, Bangtan.
Warnings: Strong language, no smut(yet, ;))
Authors Note: Just finished watching The Gentlemen and I’m incredibly inspired to write something about the mafia/underground crime lol. This will be my first fic I’ve ever posted, so feedback is encouraged
Chapter One
It was a Friday afternoon, letting out a sigh of exhaustion, I throw my backpack on the ground haphazardly as I enter my trailer. Another long day of college over, and another week of tedious work coming to a close. I flicked the light switch next to the door frame but the small space stayed in darkness. “For fucks sake” I mutter, I hadn’t paid the electrical bill. The place is a shithole, but it’s all I’ve got. But, with another 6 bags of weed sold today, I just might be able to get that bill paid. I always used to frown upon those who turned to selling drugs to make a quick buck, but here I am left with no choice but to join those who I had always seen myself as better than.
It’s a cliche story, really. Me and my brother, Jinwoo, had run away from our mother, an avid drug abuser and a pathetic excuse of a parent. Between the two of us we somehow scraped together enough money to pay the rent living in a trailer park, soon I enrolled myself in the local community college and Jinwoo found odd jobs to support us.
No more than four months later did I return from classes to a note stuck to the peeling wallpaper in the kitchen. He had landed himself in massive trouble with his dealer, and had fled to god knows where. I figured eventually he’d return when he deemed things safe but it’s been a year and a half, and not even a text, letter or phone call.
I tried to pick up part time jobs to continue paying the bills by myself, but it was useless. It seemed like every other day I was returning home to eviction warnings on my door. Eventually I had no choice but to do the one thing I had swore to myself I never would.
Turns out, selling drugs to stoner college kids really is a fast way to make money, though I’ve swore to myself that I would never take them under any circumstances. My dealer, Hyunwoo, pays me 305,000 won ($250) a week to sell to his clients on campus, and bring him the money. Hyunwoo’s a handsome man living in the run down part of the city, much like myself. He blows all his money on weed, but makes a hell of a lot of cash selling it. He’s surprisingly charming, and quite flirty, really. I’ve grown to like him the more I’ve got to know him, and he must like me to some extent too because he always pays me a little bit extra than he pays the others who work for him.
I realise it’s getting quite late and I should really head over to his pace to give him his money before it gets to dark. A short ten minute walk and I’m knocking on the front door of his apartment, waiting expectantly. The door swings open to reveal Hyunwoo leaning on the doorframe. He’s got long-ish black hair that reaches just past his ears, full lips and high cheekbones, he’s very attractive, well put together and not at all what you would picture when thinking of the stereotypical stoner.
“Ah, I figured you’d show up soon” He sends me a wink and pushes himself off the door frame. “Yeah, I’ve got your stuff in here, hang on” I dig through my bag until I find the wad of cash I had accumulated through the course of the day. He takes it from my hand and counts it, but as I turn to leave he puts a firm hand on my shoulder. “Actually, could you come inside a minute, I need to talk to you”
“Sure” I rack my brain for anything he could possibly want from me, but in the end I’m really not sure of his intentions with me. He places his arm gently on my lower back and leads me through his apartment to his living room. Despite the shitty part of town he lives in, his apartment is actually quite nice. The walls are a dark, pine green, paired with mahogany furniture. The overwhelming smell of tobacco and marijuana fills my lungs, causing me to scrunch my nose in disgust for a moment.
“Sit” he instructs, motioning to his tan, leather couch in the centre of the room. I follow his command as he stays standing, and I look up at him expectantly, waiting for him to speak. “I need you to do me a favour” he sighs. “depends what it is.” Inside, I desperately hope it’s just selling to a few extra people next week, or something minor like that. Knowing Hyunwoo, it most likely won’t be.
“Some fucking gang in the north of the city have something that belongs to me, and I need you to help me get it back.” “no.” I respond bluntly. “I’m only doing this cause I need the money, I don’t want anything to do with your gang shit.” He thinks for a moment, but then continues. “I’ll pay you an extra 6,000,000 won ($5000) if you do this job for me.” Initially, I go to immediately decline his offer, but then I hesitate.
6,000,000 won? that could pay my rent for a full year. If I don’t take this job, I’ll never be able to pay that electrical bill, I could be evicted by the end of the month. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and I am desperate. “continue…” I say apprehensively, hoping the job will be quick and easy, but considering how much he’s had to offer me to do it, it probably won’t be.
Hyunwoo explains to me that there’s an upcoming gathering, disguised as a lavish party, for Seoul’s mafia bosses, drug lords and all sorts of other underground crime schemers, to discuss deals and other business offers. The group -or gang, I guess- organising it operate under the name Bangtan. It does ring a bell but to be honest I’m not all that familiar with them or their work, and I have no intention to be.
Hyunwoo claims Bangtan have stolen something that belongs to him, and that my job, is to get that thing back. “When you enter the building there’ll be a long hallway to your right, with a staircase at the end, go up the stairs and into the third door on your left. There should be a desk in the centre of the room, and in the bottom drawer, you’ll find a briefcase. Bring it back to me.”
Silence overcomes the room for a brief moment as he finishes explaining my task. I take a moment to think before I finally speak. “One question” His dark eyes bore into me as he awaits for me to continue. “why me?” “what do you mean?” “Well, you have so many other people who work for you, who are much more skilled at this stuff than I am, why not send one of them? I know anyone with common sense would gladly take the money.”
Hyunwoo, who had been rolling joints throughout the duration of our conversation, reaches into his drawer and pulls out a lighter, igniting the end of one of the blunts. I give him a look of disapproval, not that he cares, though. “You’re absolutely correct, this errand would have a much higher chance of success if I sent one of my good men, but Bangtan knows them all. We’ve done many deals with them in the past that they’d easily recognise any one of them. You, however, they don’t know, as long as I get you a fake invite and a fake ID, no-one will bat an eye at you.”
Hyunwoo takes my still quietness as a silent acceptance. “It’ll be next friday at 10pm, I’ll text you the address tomorrow.” “alright” I say, standing up from the very stylish, but rather uncomfortable, couch and make my way over to the door. “I’ll see you later then” Just as I’m passing through the frame of his front door the sound of his voice stops me in my tracks, “And, Y/N?” I hover in the doorway awaiting a response, only for him to snicker, and say “Wear something pretty” he flashes me a grin and begins to laugh as I roll my eyes at him, and make my way out the door.
Authors Note: Chapter Two will be up as soon as possible! :))

"Ow- stupid bag- get in the door." You mumbled as you struggled to get your bag in the door. "Mom! Dad! Min?" You called but no answer.
The house was lit up so someone must be home. The kitchen was a mess with open pizza boxes and soda cans laying out. Like you never even left in the first place.
You dragged your bags upstairs to your bedroom as you heard laughter coming from your brother's room causing fumes to build up. You opened your door and saw your old room being the now used storage room since your parents didn't want to be bothered going up another flight of stairs. You threw your bags down on your old bed that at least had your old comforter set. Jeez you've been gone away to college for one year and this is what happens.
You marched over to your brother’s room since he told you he had an apartment lined up for the summer and you wanted to know why the hell he wasn't there. You were looking forward to having the house by yourself this summer since your parents worked long hours.
"Min!!" You knocked on the door, but the commotion was so damn loud you didn't even make a dent. You opened the door and saw all the boys playing some dumb shooting game. "Hello!"
The game paused and all the boys looked at you in dead silence. "Hey you're home?" Minhyuk spoke first.
"Yeah, and why are you?" You said not trying to be sassy.
"My apartment isn't ready so I'm staying here for now."
"That's too bad.....for how long?"
"It won't be done until October." He said as some of his friends were laughing.
"What? I thought you were moving in for the summer." You alerted.
"So did I. Guess not." He turned his head back towards the screen.
"Well, if you don't mind, I need to clean my room that was turned into a storage unit." You said annoyed.
"Relax. Mine was the laundry room." You shut his door and went back to your room grabbing the first box. Siblings were siblings so you didn't mind that he was home, but you couldn't stand his friends. They were all obnoxious and constantly teased you. They were the reason he needed to leave.
...
As you were about to pass your brothers door, his friend JinJin came out causing you to bump into him. "Sorry."
"Need help?"
"You don't want to help me." You laughed and continued to pass him.
"Maybe I do." He grabbed the box from you as he pulled the string to your attic stairs.
"Why?"
"It's pretty boring in there."
"Sure it is, because moving a bunch of your parent’s old shit is much more entertaining." You spoke with sarcasm.
"Depends on who I'm with." He started up the stairs as you blushed and went back to grab another box.
"So....It's been a while since I've seen you." He started. "You haven't changed much." He smiled.
"Yeah, it's tragic I know. My hair is still a frizzy mess, I'm still short, I still can't manage to do my makeup the right way or let my fingernails grow out-"
"I meant that you are as beautiful as I remember." He grabbed your box again and walked up the stairs.
"I'm sorry, did you inhale too much dust up there?" You shouted from the bottom of the steps. He walked down with that annoyed look you remember but quickly fixed it with a smile. "Still got the same humor I see."
"What about you? You look very different from the last time I saw you."
"How so?" He asked grabbing an old picture frame.
"All the baby fat is gone from your face." You said causing him to shy away from you. "Sorry I just remember your cheeks were so adorable."
You had a small box, so you followed him finally up to the attack. "It's still scary up here."
"Do you still have that scar when we fell from the tree house?" He asked. The most memorable memory you had with Jinjin. He broke his arm and you had to get 14 stitches.
"I don't know." You pulled your hair up letting him look at the back of your neck.
"Still there."
"I'm glad I can't see it because it's probably hideous."
"Scars aren't hideous, they're cool."
"Of course you would say that, you're a guy. They're ugly on a girl. Maybe I'll get a tattoo to cover it." You said walking down the stairs.
Your room was just about done, the rest you can put in the closet, but things looked the same besides the emptiness since you still had your main stuff back in your dorm.
"Do you miss being home?"
"A little. But I love where my school is, I might move there once I graduate."
"It's only an hour away, right?" He asked.
"Yeah."
"I'm guessing you don't miss your brother." He laughed.
"I didn't miss him or his friends." You said but then had your eyes on Jinjin since he technically counted. "I mean besides you. You're the only one that's nice to me so." You shrugged.
Minhyuk's school was an hour away as well but going the opposite direction, so you were actually 2 hours away from him.
"They're all jerks to each other no worries. I rather hang out with you."
"You better not say that out loud, Min will get mad."
He shrugged. "Who cares."
Speak of the devil. "Mom and dad are on their way home."
"Okay." You shrugged.
"We better clean the kitchen."
"You mean you and your friends better clean the kitchen. I just got home. You didn't even leave any pizza for me."
"I didn't know you were coming home." He defended himself.
"I'm not helping you. It's bad enough I can't go and get something because I don't have a car and I can't drive yours because it's a stick."
He turned around and went back to his room hopefully to get his friends.
"I can drive you if you want something to eat." Jinjin offered.
"That's okay, I'm sure I can find something to make."
"Well, the reason why your parents are gone is because they went out shopping." Jinjin laughed.
You sighed. "I can take an Uber it's fine."
"You trust Uber? Come on let's go." Jinjin lead you downstairs.
....
"Thank you." You held your bag of Panda Express. "They don't have these near me."
"That must be tough." He teased since he knew it was your favorite.
"Yeah." The car ride was silent but comfortable. You didn't want to eat in JinJin's car, so you held the bag closed tightly to keep the warmth.
"I never asked you where you go to school. You were gone so quick; I haven't seen you since-" You stopped yourself before you could bring up the bad memory. "Sorry I didn't mean-"
"It's fine (Y/N), It's been 2 years." He laughed. His parents got divorced his senior year of high school and he moved away with his mother, so you haven't seen him since.
"I go to school at FT University. It's pretty close to where my mom lives so..." he shrugged.
"I know where that is. I didn't know you moved over there. My school isn't that far from there." You smiled. "So why are you here instead of visiting your mom?"
"I see her all the time, even when I'm in school." He smiled. "I haven't seen you guys in a while."
"I didn't mean to refer you as guys. I mean everyone."
"It's fine Jinjin." You blushed. "So how long are you staying." He finally pulled up to your house.
"The rest of the summer so I can visit my dad. He works late so I'm mostly home alone."
"I'll stay with you. I wanted to be home alone." You meant it as a joke, but he took it seriously.
"You can stay with me if you want. I could use the company in that big house."
"I’ll have to keep an eye on my Min radar." You giggled. "It's weird living with him again. I know it's only been a year, but I feel like I'm a kid again being back here."
"Or I'm sure if you want to stay with us, Minhyuk has his bunk bed set in the garage." You teased.
You got inside to a surprisingly clean house and the rest of the boys chillin out in the living room. "Where have you two been?" Your brother asked as soon as you entered the door.
"Jinwoo drove me to get food since you punks ate everything. At least one of you has a soul."
"I know why he's nice." They mumbled followed by a laugh, but you couldn't understand what he said anyway but Jinjin did, and he had a strong glare written on his face.
You walked away to the kitchen since the radiation was too strong and continued to eat your food while looking through your phone and the boy’s rowdy behavior can be heard miles away.
"Mom. Hi." As soon as you mother entered the house with grocery's you gave her a big hug and then quickly moved on to your dad. "Did you miss me?"
"Of course dear. Your brother said you were staying with a friend this summer."
"What? He's the one who was supposed to move into an apartment."
"He said he didn't have the money to this year." You shot daggers towards his direction. He lied. He just wanted to be a lazy bum and mooch off your parents still. Sure, you can say you were no different, but you showed your parents more respect than he did at least and could pay for your own stuff.
"Please get along with your brother if you both are going to be back here." Your mother practically begged.
"I'm not the bad one."
"Your brother has matured. You just haven't seen it yet." She always defended him. "Just get along."
You crossed your arms as you walked back towards your room.
-
The next morning you felt comfortable in your bed as your summer vacation officially started. You and your friends never decided what to do this summer since you were scattered, but hopefully you can hang with them instead of sitting at home with your brothers annoying friends.
You got up and threw your hair into a messy bun as you applied some face cream and put a timer on for 20 minutes.
You went downstairs to get some breakfast and as soon as you entered the kitchen, your brother jumped in fear as he saw your face.
"Take what you want and leave me alone." He teased.
"Oh, very funny." You stuck your tongue out.
"Is that guacamole or something?" He looked at you with disgust.
"It's an Avocado mask, it's great for hydrating your skin and prevents wrinkles." You poured yourself a glass of orange juice.
"I didn't know you were old enough to have wrinkles, that sucks." He laughed.
"I don't have them you idiot, it's to make sure I don't get them in the future." You snapped.
He grabbed your orange juice and walked upstairs. "YAH!!!!" You groaned as you poured yourself another drink.
You heard the front door open once again thinking it was just your lame brother until you saw a friendly face greet you. "Hey- (Y/N)."
You gasped and ran upstairs as your answer. How embarrassing! Why was Jinwoo here? Especially this early. You hid in your room as you heard him enter your brother’s room.
...
"You try living with him." You whined as you walked through the park with your friend. "I feel like it's high school all over again."
"How bad can he be? Just ignore him."
"It's hard when his room is right next to mine, you know how many times he has woke me up from blaring his video games? This is gonna be a long summer."
"He came in and used the bathroom......while I WAS IN THE SHOWER!......Who does that? And not to mention flushing the toilet so my water could get cold. I think he's being an extra ass to chase me out."
"It's only been one week." Your friend laughed.
"I know! I can't deal with this for another 2 months. Help me." You whined.
"I'm sorry, I'm working all summer. Maybe you can rent someone's house." She continued talking but you just remembered Jinjin's offer. He was staying with his father for the rest of the summer. Maybe you could stay with him.
"You're a genius." You shouted.
"I didn't think you would actually take that into consideration." She laughed.
"Oh, I will. But not renting.....borrowing."
.....
You only packed a few days' worth of clothes since you weren't staying for long or even know if he meant his offer. You told your parents you were staying with a friend because of said brother but honestly, they didn't get it, but why would they when he was perfect to their eyes.
You were standing outside Jinjin's door unannounced and ready to make yourself at home since you didn't feel comfortable at yours.
You were embarrassed enough by this point, but you honestly didn't care anymore. You need a break from Minhyuck and this was the only way - unless you stay at a hotel.
"Hey." You smiled.
"Hey." Jinwooo greeted with confusion but amused by your presence. "You staying?"
"If that's okay. Min is driving me insane. I'm on my last straw before I kill him."
"No worries." He opened the door wider so you could enter. "You can stay in the guest room."
His house was bigger than you remembered, unless in all honesty - you just forgot since it was forever ago you've been here.
"Did you eat?" He asked kindly.
"Oh yeah, I'm fine. I know it's late, I'm sorry."
"It's 8 o'clock." He laughed. "No big deal."
"So, what you want to do?" He asked after you put your things in the guest room.
"Honestly, I'm dying to go in your pool."
"Oh really?" He arched his eyebrows.
"I haven't since we were kids.....plus it's like really hot out."
...
"I don't think I ever been night swimming before." You dipped your toe in the pool before pulling it out quickly. It was too cold but a little chilly. The light inside made the whole pool light up aesthetically making the mood calm.
That was until Jinwoo decided to run and jump in, losing your train of thought.
"Wow....10 points."
"Come on."
"Don't you know I'm always slow getting in." You sat down letting your feet hang.
"Oh, I remember." He was coming closer as you stepped down to the first step. "Wait, aren't you gonna take off your clothes?" He was referring to your oversized tshirt.
"Oh, I always wear clothes over my bathing suit." He gave you a questioning look. "I'm just a little self-conscious."
"What time does your dad get home? Will he be okay with this?" You quickly changed the subject.
"He won't be home till after midnight." He shrugged. "He's always too tired to care anyway."
"I'm sorry."
"It's okay." He laughed splashing you.
"Hey! I will get out."
"You're the one that wanted to go swimming."
"You're right, but it's still too cold." You whined before finally dropping down, so you were covered to your waist.
"I can't remember the last time I've been in this pool."
"Why?" You laughed. "If we had a pool, I would be in it everyday."
"It's not fun to swim alone."
"But you can relax." He just shrugged. "Why don't you ever invite the guys over here?"
"I think Minhyuk is afraid of my dad." Jinwoo laughed.
"He yelled at him one time, such a baby." You laughed with him. "You wouldn't want them over anyway. They trash the place."
"True." He laughed as he splashed you.
"Hey." You splashed him back even more intense.
You both swam for only another ten minutes before getting out to the cold as your soak and wet shirt heavy against your skin.
"Can I ask you a personal question?" He started as he ruffled his hair with the towel breaking your train of thought.
"Sure." You quickly looked to the ground trying not to be obvious you were staring at his toned torso.
"Why do you wear clothes over your bathing suit?" His tone was gentle.
"Oh um.....wearing bathing suits make me uncomfortable." You pursed your lips.
"I don't see why. You're beautiful you know." He started walking inside; leaving you as your face quickly turned red.
"Why do you do that?" You asked following him.
"What?" He had the towel around his shoulders.
"Sweet talk me." You teased.
"I'm not. I'm just stating facts." He smiled sweetly. "Come on let's get changed."
Now he's changing the subject?.......hmmm
"Are you sure I can stay here?" You asked again as you sat on the couch next to him all dry and cozy.
"Of course." He had a movie starting and popcorn at your side.
Not that things felt awkward with Jinwoo but he definitely gave you feelings you couldn't explain. The butterflies were nonstop by this point.
"Thank you for being so nice to me......I mean like.....for my brother’s friend."
"I don't want to just be 'your brother’s friend' to you (Y/N)." He started. "We're friends also."
"Or course, I didn't mean it like that or anything." You quickly responded. "I like being friends with you."
"I'm tired. I'm probably gonna get to bed." You stood up. It was toward the end of the movie anyway.
"Yeah sure." He stood up as well.
"Thanks again for letting me stay here." You spoke as you entered his guest room.
"Of course. You're always welcome here." He leaned against the doorframe.
"Maybe it's time I get my own place, since my brother ain't going anywhere."
"Well, you can stay here as long as you like."
"Aren't you going home soon?" You asked.
"That won't matter. My dad wouldn't have a problem with it. He's always liked you."
"He remembers me?"
"Of course."
"Well, I wouldn't want to stay here unless you're here." You slipped out.
"Well, I guess I'll have to stay all summer." He blushed.
"Sounds good." You bit your lip shyly.
"Okay well, good night." He awkwardly walked towards the door. "I'm just next door."
"Okay." You smiled as he left you alone. You felt your heart beating beyond your control and it was all because of him. You felt the need to make a move, but you were scared. You felt tired before but now the feeling was replaced with adrenaline.
You just wanted to make another excuse to talk to him. You weren't ready to say good night. How do I work the tv? Anything. What were you thinking, he probably doesn't even like you like that.
You found yourself pacing before walking towards the door ready to leave and knock on his door, no turning back but as soon as you flew your door open. He was standing ready to knock himself.
"Oh hey." You greeted once again as faith was working in your favor.
"I-ahh- I think I left my phone in here, maybe."
"Is that so?" You asked. He looked at you nervously as he was clearly lying.
"No." He laughed nervously.
"Did you need something?" Just do it, he's right there.
He sighed, suddenly leaning in forward, grabbing your chin softly bringing his lips towards yours. His lips were warm and soft, and you were quick to respond. He leaned in more forward closing the door behind him as he continued pushing you till you reached your bed. He made himself comfortable in between your legs as you were quick to wrap them around his waist as the kiss grew deeper by the second.
His roaming hands made its way up your thighs to under your shirt, sending shivers up by every touch.
"You okay with this?" You asked in between the kiss.
"Are you okay with this?" He asked back.
"I am if you are."
"Of course, I am. You're beautiful (Y/N)." He leaned down once again.
"You mean that?"
He answered with a kiss, and you were quick to kiss him once again. You managed to finally pull his shirt all the way up, taking a second to admire his toned chest. He immediately snuck his hand under your shirt, as he began kissing up and down your neck, with his hands continuing to wander making you feel butterflies for the hundredth time tonight.
You felt him playing with your bra strap, eventually loosening up the tight fabric. He had it off quicker than you realized and immediately started messaging your chest, loosely under your shirt. His lips made its way back up to your lips, feeling moister than before.
He stopped suddenly and smiled as he felt your hand making its way inside his sweats. You smirked as you continued to rub against his growing member. The sudden confidence felt comfortable.
He finally pulled your shirt up, just enough to leave sloppy kisses all over chest making you moan in the process. You pulled down the rest of his sweats leaving him completely exposed. He stopped to pull the rest of your off and leaned forward, kissing your swollen lips once again. You felt him slowly rub his erection against you as you nodded in approval. You felt sudden cold air as he moved to open his bed side drawer, quickly to add protection. He finally pushed in slowly, not aware of how tight you were.
You couldn't help but wince from the slight pain until the feeling subsided to pleasure. His muffled sounds were so beautiful as he began his movements faster. He leaned down kissing you passionately before moving down to your neck once again as his pace was comfortable. You felt like you were lost in your own world not caring who can hear you. You never wanted this feeling to end. You moved your hand to the front of your folds to guide your pleasure closer to the edge.
He moved against your body like he had complete control, like he knew it well. You felt like you were on cloud 9 as the pleasure was rushing in faster than you thought. You moved your hips against him faster to signal you wanted more. Your moans filled the room, that you both were grateful his father was not home yet.
The numbness scattered throughout your body as the climax finally reached its high point. Once he reached his high, he collapsed to the bed next to you.
You looked over at Jinwoo and you couldn't help but smile seeing how exhausted he was.
"Is he gonna be okay with this?"
"Who? Min?" He nodded to confirm. "I don't really care what he thinks."
"What if he's mad?"
"I don't know." You shrugged. "Do you not want to tell him?"
"I don't know." It was his turn to shrug.
"We can talk about it later." You yawned throughout as your eyes started to drift.
He turned on his side facing you as he gently started to close his eyes as well. Was this wrong? On one hand, you had no care in the world what your brother thought but Jinwoo was his friend and he still cared deeply for the both of you. Whatever he decides, you would be happy with.
to be continued.....

Stopping for coffee when you were already on a tight schedule to get to your lecture wasn’t a good idea. In fact, you knew your friends would disapprove of it and give you the pointed ‘I can’t believe you’ look the moment you scurried inside the classroom, but coffee wouldn’t hurt especially on such a warm day.
You rushed out of the Campus café with an iced latte in your hand and your phone in the other, your screen already filled with texts from Mina asking where you were, and telling you to hurry up or you would miss the lecture. You wouldn’t even bother thinking of an excuse, plus, texting her back would only take more of the so precious time she was talking about.
You took two steps down the road, sipping coffee happily when it happened: one of the dumbasses from the basketball team losing his ball, same one that ended knocking your cup out of your hand.
“I am so sorry!” he said as he ran towards you, looking back at the rest of his childish friends who looked mortified all the same. “It was an accident, Sanha was just being an idiot...”
“It’s fine,” you cut him off without eyeing him properly, your little detour had been a disaster and you’d be late to class for nothing. “It was an accident.”
“Let me buy you another one,” the guy offered, searching for your eyes. He was a little shorter than the rest of his friends, who were still on guard, and had light brown hair.
“I don’t have time right now,” you replied, trying not to sound rude. “But uh, thanks.”
“My name is Jinwoo!” he called as you walked down the road, avoiding the remains of your spilled drink. “I’ll buy you coffee any time, just let me know!”
This time you giggled, waving him off along with his offer, at least he had good intentions. But that wouldn’t give you the latte or your money back.

Parties with Moon Bin always ended up with either of you in trouble, for whatever dumb—or well justified reason. So you were already expecting a fun yet incredibly messy night.
“Wait, you can’t leave me!” you argued, hitting Bin in the middle of his back. “I didn’t even want to play.”
“You’ll be fine!” he insisted, “I’ll be on the other side with Eunwoo,”
“Oh, the baby can’t play on his own?” leaning a bit to the side you stared at Eunwoo, who already held the pong ball between his hands. It was always the same with him, stealing your partner because he sucked.
“Just pair up with Jinwoo,” Bin offered, “If you win I’ll buy you dinner!” he gestured for the person standing behind you, Jinwoo, obviously.
“Ready to play? y/n is actually really good,” Moon Bin continued, patting Jinwoo in the back before you turned to acknowledge him.
“I won’t spill anything on you,” Jinwoo said with a smile as soon as your eyes met his. “I promise,”
You shook your head, not being able to help your laughter. “I sure hope so.”
+++
“I swear if you don’t get the ball inside in the next shot, you’re drinking everything,” you threatened, rubbing your forehead. Beer pong sucked, and it was worse when you were on the losing team, you had drank so many cups already you wondered how you were still standing.
“I just feel a lot of pressure!” Jinwoo excused himself for the hundreth time, but this time he turned his head to face you. “My team mates aren’t this attractive, usually.”
Instead of responding, you threw the spare ball to his head, but still felt embarrassment creeping up your face. “Just– play,”
It wasn’t like you didn’t think of Jinwoo as any less than attractive, but you were still losing and if he kept flirting with you in front of Moon Bin, the literal child wouldn’t let either of you live it down.
Bin and Eunwoo bursted out laughing when Jinwoo missed again, even you did, taking the red cup and handing it to him.
“Sorry,” he smiled, gulping down the beer.
“It’s fine, at least Eunwoo now knows what it’s like to win at beer pong,” you chuckled as well. “I just hope you’re better at playing basketball.”
Jinwoo pretended to be hurt, taking a hand to his chest but grinning widely. “That’s how it is?”
“That’s how it is,” you nodded, glad he could take the joke.
“Well you can find that out it come to the next game on Friday,”
“We’ll see, then.”
ɪɪɪ. ᴡᴀᴛᴇʀ
You were glad to find out Jinwoo wasn’t actually half bad at playing basketball, he had a good game, despite being giddy the moment he saw you walk through the door with Moon Bin and a couple other friends.
“So, what do you think?” Jinwoo asked as soon as he met you on the sidelines, still sweaty and panting.
“I still can’t believe you made us lose at beer pong,” you replied, grabbing the water bottle you’d bought for yourself that was still sealed, and offering it to him.
“Thank you,” he took it from you with a smile, “I’m really happy you came, though.”
“Me too,” you replied honestly. It had been fun and if you were honest, you found yourself thinking about Jinwoo quite often these days. You had seen him around the campus café almost every day, and he walked distance with you asking how you were doing before ‘realizing’ he was actually going the other way, and he had actually bought you a drink a couple days ago, from the time he spilled yours.
“Do you like movies?” Jinwoo asked, giving the bottle a squeeze a tad to strong, making the water burst from the top. The rest of your friends, who were trying their best to mind their own business, gave the two of you sided looks.
“I do,” there was a bit of hesitation in your voice, given his anxious demeanor. “Why?”
“W-would you, so– there’s this movie, in the cinema obviously and– would you like to go?”
“Sure, that would be nice,” you offered him a reassuring smile, although your insides were turning with excitement.
ɪᴠ. ꜱʟᴜʀᴘᴇᴇ
To be fair, the movie was slightly ridiculous. With jump scares and fake blood everywhere, it could have been laughable hadn’t you been filled with butterflies from head to toe. The theater seemed too small, even when there were only five other people inside with you. The word ‘date’ was ever-present in your mind since that morning, but you didn’t want to ask.
The way back to your dorm room had been filled with chatter and laughter, you were having such a good time, you didn’t want it to end.
“Do you uh... do you want to get something to drink?” Jinwoo offered, holding your arm lightly to make you stop your march. “If you have time, that is.”
“Sure, let’s do it,” you replied almost immediately, not afraid to show your excitment anymore.
You ended up in a 24H store, sitting right outside with large-sized slurpee each. A lot of sugar for such late hours, but you didn’t mind at all.
“Your tongue is blue already!” you laughed, sticking your own out. “Is mine red?”
Jinwoo laughed, trying and failing of course, to see his tongue. “Do you think it will turn purple if we exchange drinks?”
“Uh... yes? that’s how it works?” still, with a childish beam you took the cup from his hand and exchanged it with yours.
Both of you took a few sips before counting down to three to show each other if your mouth had actually changed colors. Laughter filled the air as you continued your silly games, only dying down as Jinwoo inched closer to you slowly.
“Can I kiss you?” he questioned, stopping far enough from you that you could easily reject his advance.
But you didn’t, instead you nodded around three times, resorting to whisper a ‘yes’ at last, before Jinwoo pressed his lips against yours. The kiss tasted of cherry and blue berry, and something even sweeter than that, that belonged purely to his lips.
ᴠ. ᴄᴏꜰꜰᴇᴇ
“May I come in?” he questioned, knocking on the already open door.
“Shouldn’t you be home?” you retorted, barely peeling your eyes off the textbook in front of you. Exams approached quickly and you were drowning in revisions and stress.
“I was on my way, but I figured you could use a break,” Jinwoo shook the cup he was holding in his left hand. “And some caffeine,”
You smiled at him, getting up from your seat and walking up to him, still at the door. “Thank you, love.”
“Best boyfriend ever, or what?” Jinwoo joked, kissing your cheek.
“Well... if you had brought a piece of cake...” you joked, giving him a quick kiss on the lips.
Jinwoo clicked his tongue, taking the cup back from you. He walked inside the room and placed it on the desk. “You still need a break. Come here,”
You sat together on the floor of your room, your head leaning against his shoulder. “Thank you for coming to check on me.”
“Any time, baby,” he kissed your head gently, rubbing your back in soothing circles.
He was the best boyfriend ever, indeed.

KIM MYUNGJUN/ MJ - LOVE PURPOSE
Tumblr media
WARNING: DETAILED SMUT SCENES AND FOUL LANGUAGE AHEAD!
AUTHOR’S NOTE: I am sorry it took me for a week to update because I have other things to do and this is my first smut fanfiction for MJ and I hope you will all like it my beloved readers!
Characters: Reader - Y/N (female) x MJ/ Kim Myungjun
L/N (insert your last name/surname)
Y/N is an office worker together with her friend named Jerin. In their company, every fifth month of the year they always awarded who is the best employee in every department then Y/N and Jerin decided to check in their bulletin board outside their department office and they saw it was…
“Kim Myungjun a.k.a MJ is the awardee again? I am tired of seeing his photo every fifth month in our bulletin board!” Y/N said as she sighed and Jerin slightly laughed at her.
“Why? Do you also expect that you will receive that award and beat MJ?” Jerin asked.
“To be honest, I am still expecting because I know that I didn’t make any mistakes in our work and I am always early going to work. I don’t know why I am still not receiving that kind of award,” Y/N said.
"We all know that you are a great employee but I bet you didn't know that much about MJ, right? He is the most sociable employee in our department. Probably the other superiors kept voting him as the best employee is that aside from MJ being excellent in doing his job he is very sociable and he kept helping the others too because he has so much expertise," Jerin said and Y/N just sighed.
“Gosh! I wish I could have those kinds of attributes like him. You know, It’s hard for me to mingle and talk to other people if you don’t know them at all,” Y/N said.
"I know! But I am impressed that it's really easy for him to communicate with other people that quickly. Also, I heard MJ is very popular with other departments too and even the CEO said he is so happy to have him in the company," Jerin said.
"Oh well! I will not be surprised that he will have a quick promotion to be in the higher position," Y/N said.
“I think so! Let’s go back to work,” Jerin said and Y/N nodded. As they went inside their office, suddenly MJ is about to go out there office and…
“Hi Y/N and Jerin!” MJ said as he suddenly winked at Y/N and she was surprised but then Y/N and Jerin just smiled at him and he left the office.
“Oh! How did he know my name? We even don’t talk to each other,” Y/N thought and Jerin noticed she stopped walking and…
“Is there are problem Y/N? or are you just thinking why he winked at you?” Jerin said as she slightly teased her and Y/N glared at her.
"No, I am not! Also, I never talked to him and I am just surprised that he knows my name," Y/N said and Jerin laughed at her.
“Probably he just saw your name somewhere like in the documents or he just overheard it. As for my case, he knows my name because I kept giving some documents to him,” Jerin said as she smiled.
“Well, I think so! We really should get going and finish our work,” Y/N said and Jerin nodded as they just went back to their working stations. As for MJ who also checked the bulletin board, he smiled brightly because he is again the best employee then someone approached him and it’s his friend named Cha Eunwoo who is in another department and…
“Congrats again MJ!” Eunwoo said as he smiled at him.
“Thanks, bro!” MJ said as he smiled back.
“You really deserve a promotion in that case because you were always the best employee of the department,” Eunwoo said and MJ chuckled.
“I still have many things to learn, okay? Also, I am just doing my best too,” MJ said.
"Oh! I see! Did you hear that someone tried to beat you for being the best employee?" Eunwoo asked and MJ was surprised.
"Nope! But I don't mind if that person will be the next best employee since I think also some other people deserve to be the best employee because all of us here are doing our best to get recognition," MJ said.
“Oh! I agree with you! The name of that person that was also nominated for being the best employee is L/N Y/N,” Eunwoo said.
“Oh! The beautiful lady in our department,” MJ said and Eunwoo just smirked.
“I am so surprised at your words MJ. But does it mean you already like her?” Eunwoo asked and MJ smiled.
"To be honest, I liked her since I was in college but at that time, I am in my senior year and Y/N is in her junior year," MJ said.
“Oh! I see! That’s why she didn’t really know you at all,” Eunwoo said.
“You’re right! I am just happy that I got to work with her in the same department,” MJ said as he smiled brightly.
“But why didn’t you make a move already to her?” Eunwoo asked.
“I am just waiting for the right time and also, I don’t want her to be uncomfortable because I still didn’t talk to her at all too,” MJ said.
“Oh! I see! Good luck bro! I have to go and congratulations again!” Eunwoo said.
“Okay! Thanks again! Have a nice day!” MJ said as he smiled and Eunwoo nodded and he left him then MJ just went back to his working station. While Y/N is working she suddenly remembered something and she approached Jerin.
"Jerin, I wanted to ask you if you have already had a roommate in your place?" Y/N asked.
“Yes! I live with my older sister. Why?” Jerin asked.
"Oh! Okay! I just think I should look for a place to rent that is near our working place because I am easily getting tired of being home at late night in my place," Y/N said.
"Wait! I have some flyers of apartments that you can check out. I got these flyers because before I also search for a place to live but I didn't have a chance to check them out because my older sister let me live with her. I hope these flyers will help," Jerin said as she gave the flyers to her.
"Oh! Okay! Thanks, Jerin! I will check them out this weekend," Y/N said and Jerin nodded.
 FAST FORWARD….
It was Saturday and she tried to call the numbers that were in the flyers but some of them told her that the apartment is already occupied and as for the last flyer, she tried to call it and finally, someone told her the apartment is still not occupied and it was just a few minutes away from her working place. Then on the same day, she decided to check out the apartment and…
“Good afternoon! Ms. Y/N, I am Jinwoo and I am one of the lessors of the apartment. Let’s go and I will show you the apartment you will move in,” Jinwoo said and Y/N nodded and she followed him. As they went to the apartment, Y/N checked the room and other parts of the apartment…
"Wow! I am surprised it's already fully furnished and yet the monthly price is cheap," Y/N said.
“So, Ms. Y/N are you going to occupy this apartment?” Jinwoo asked.
“Yes! I love the interior and I think I will don’t have any problems when I go to work,” Y/N said as she smiled.
“That’s great! Let’s go to my office now and you can transfer your advance payment via online bank transfer and I will let you signed the contract there,” Jinwoo said and Y/N nodded then both of them went to the office and signed the contract and after signing the contract, Y/N told him that she can move in tomorrow.
“Are you sure that you can move in tomorrow? But you told me earlier that your place from here is far. I can help you get your things,” Jinwoo said.
“Are you sure about that? You will really help me? But how much should I pay you?” Y/N asked.
“Yes! I am willing to help you and you don’t need to pay me for helping you. Just send me the address. I know it will be hard for you to find other people that can help you get your things from your place,” Jinwoo said as he smiled.
“Oh! Okay! Thank you very much Mr. Jinwoo!” Y/N said.
“Just call me Jinjin since you will be one of our tenants in this building and I can consider now you as a friend too,” Jinwoo said as he smiled and Y/N blushed.
“Okay! I will send you the address today. I have to go and thank you again, Jinjin! See you tomorrow!” Y/N said.
“Okay! No problem Y/N! Have a nice day and Take care! See you tomorrow!” Jinwoo said and Y/N smiled and nodded then left his office.
THE NEXT DAY….
It was the day where Y/N will move into the apartment and as Jinjin promised her, he really helped get her things and went to the apartment. But as they arrived in the apartment, they suddenly saw someone loading their stuff and as they walked closer Y/N recognized and it was…
"MJ?" Y/N said and MJ turned around and looked at her with a surprised face and…
“Y/N? What are you doing here and who is he?” MJ asked.
"I should be the one to ask you that question because I am one of the lessors of that apartment and why are you here? Y/N signed the contract yesterday to move in this apartment," Jinwoo said.
“Why does he act likes he is Y/N’s boyfriend?” MJ thought and he smirked.
"Wait for a second! You are not the one who I talked to last week and I signed the contract first. Also, the name of the lessor that I talked to is, Rocky,” MJ said and Y/N was surprised.
“Are you serious?” Y/N asked and MJ nodded. Then Y/N can’t look at him.
“Oh! You mean you talked to my friend. We should check that out and settle these things first,” Jinwoo said then Y/N sighed and nodded. MJ is only looking at her but…
“I didn’t expect Y/N will be here,” MJ thought. But Y/N was just quiet and didn’t talk at all. As they went inside the office…
“Rocky, it’s great that you are here!” Jinwoo said. Then Rocky looked at MJ and…
"Good afternoon MJ! You are supposed to move into the apartment, right? Is there a problem?" Rocky asked.
"Ummm… Rocky, I want to talk to you first," Jinwoo said and Rocky nodded and they left MJ and Y/N for a moment and…
“Y/N, I know that we don’t talk to each other in the office but I wanted to ask you if you really need the apartment?” MJ asked and Y/N slightly looked at him.
“Yes, I am! Because my place is so far and I always reached my place already late at night and I am tired of it.” Y/N said.
“Oh! I see! To be honest, I don’t know what was going on between our signed contracts. Let’s just wait for them,” MJ said and Y/N nodded. Then in a few minutes, Rocky and Jinwoo went back to them and…
"I am sorry MJ and Y/N for the inconvenience. Rocky suddenly forgot to put your details in the system that made me think that it's still not occupied. But I can see that you two already know each other and I think it will not be bad that you two can live in that apartment since there are two rooms. But that was only my suggestion. I'll leave the two of you first so that you two can just talk about it for now," Jinwoo said and left them again to discuss about their decision. Then Y/N and MJ looked at each other and…
“Y/N, you can take the apartment. I will just find another place to live,” MJ said and Y/N was surprised but…
“I think there is a purpose that I met MJ today and that is, that he can help me to be the best employee and somehow make me turn into a sociable person,” Y/N thought and she suddenly shook her head and MJ was confused at her action.
“It’s really okay that you can have the apartment. I can really find another place,” MJ said.
“No! You can live with me because I want you to help me on something I wanted to achieve to," Y/N said and MJ was shocked.
“What? You will let me live with you? Also, what do you want to achieve?” MJ asked.
“Yes! I will let you live with me. I wanted to be also the best employee in our department,” Y/N said and MJ chuckled.
“I see! Okay! But I will try to help you okay?” MJ said as he smiled at her.
“Okay! Thanks, MJ!” Y/N said and MJ suddenly winked at her and Y/N blushed. Then that time, Jinwoo and Rocky went back to them and…
“We already decided that both of us will be living in that apartment,” MJ said.
"Gosh! I hope things will turn out to be okay and I will achieve being the best employee," Y/N thought as both of them smiled.
“Okay! That’s great! There will be no problem at all,” Jinwoo said and all of them agreed. As Y/N and MJ helped each other to place their things inside the apartment…
"Y/N, do you have food preferences you like? I will treat you for dinner tonight," MJ said. When Y/N looked at him, she saw that he is shirtless and she blushed madly but MJ didn’t notice that she stared at him for a long time because he keeps scrolling and searching something in his phone and…
"Damn! I didn't expect MJ will have a perfect upper body!" Y/N thought as she suddenly bites her lip but she suddenly stopped thinking lewd thoughts about him and…
“I just don’t like spicy food and the rest will be okay for me,” Y/N said as she smiled.
"Okay! I will order now," MJ said as he smiled back and Y/N blushed and gulped. As time goes by, their food for dinner arrived and Y/N helped MJ to get the food and set it on the dining table and when they are about to have dinner, Y/N can't continue eating her food because…
“Umm… MJ, I think you should put on clothes first. It’s kinda distracting,” Y/N said and MJ smirked.
“Really? Are you distracted at my body?” MJ asked bluntly and Y/N gulped.
“You’re right! because to be honest, I haven’t lived in yet with a guy. You know what I mean, right?” Y/N asked.
“Oh! Okay! I understand, Y/N! Wait for a second!” MJ said and Y/N nodded. Then after few seconds, he went back and Y/N was still kinda distracted because…
"Gosh! He is in a sleeveless shirt and his arms are really muscular! I should just continue to eat my food he might get the wrong idea," Y/N thought. After they finished their dinner, Y/N volunteered to wash the dishes but…
“Y/N you should relax now. I will wash the dishes tonight,” MJ said as he smiled and Y/N blushed.
“Are you sure about that? You already treated me for dinner then you will also wash the dishes?” Y/N asked.
“It’s okay! I insist! You can relax now,” MJ said and both of them smiled at each other. Then Y/N just went to the living room and started to watch her favorite shows. But as time goes by, when MJ was already finished washing the dishes he already saw that Y/N already fell asleep and he slowly looked at her while still sleeping and…
“It seems she is really tired. I should just carry her into her room,” MJ thought and he just carried her bridal style and placed her in the bed and put a blanket on top of her.
"Good night Y/N! You are really beautiful!" MJ said in low voice and he slightly smiled. Then he just turns off the lights of her room. The next day, both of them went together in the office and some of their officemates are looking at them confused then when Y/N was about to go straight to her working station, MJ suddenly held her hand that made Y/N blushed at his action and…
"We will go back home together too, okay?" MJ asked as he smiled at her and Y/N nodded and smiled back. Then as soon as MJ already went to his working station many of his teammates went to him immediately and asked questions about Y/N. As for Y/N who is also in her working station, Jerin and another colleague named Sanha approached her and…
“Did we just see it right now that you and MJ come to the office together?” Jerin asked.
“You should just share to us that you are already dating him,” Sanha said and Y/N just can’t stop blushing.
“We aren’t dating and we are just friends,” Y/N said and Jerin smirked and Sanha slightly laughed.
"Are you sure? But why did he hold your hand? and suddenly he tells you something. Also, Sanha is right you should share it with us," Jerin said and Y/N sighed.
“I am telling the truth that we are just friends and I know you two will get the wrong idea if I say that we actually living in an apartment,” Y/N said then Sanha and Jerin were surprised.
“What? How did that happen?” Sanha asked.
“I will make the long story short, okay?” Y/N said then Sanha and Jerin nodded.
“On the day when I will move in the apartment, the lessor didn’t know that MJ signed first the contract and suddenly we had a discussion if one of us will take the apartment or just live together but we just decided to live together instead,” Y/N said.
“Oh! But who suggested that you two live together?” Jerin asked.
“The lessor suggested it and I also thought that it will not be a bad idea because I can seek help from him to be the best employee,” Y/N said.
“Oh! That’s a good decision though. But we can feel you two will be very close to each other,” Sanha said and smiled at her.
“Not only be close to each other. Also, we will not be surprised that they will fall in love with each other and they will be in a relationship,” Jerin said and Sanha agreed but Y/N blushed at her words.
“We should just start working and someone might scold us,” Y/N said then Jerin and Sanha nodded and went back to their working stations. As for MJ who is busily working, someone sends a message to him in their web portal and it’s Eunwoo.
THEIR CONVERSATION…
Eunwoo: Hey! I saw that you are with Y/N. Are you two already dating?
MJ: No! We are just friends and to be honest, I am so sick of that question because many of my teammates keep asking me about that.
Eunwoo: Oh! I see! So, why the two of you are together going to the office?
MJ: We live in the same apartment.
Eunwoo: What? Are you serious? I thought you two are not dating but living in one apartment? I am confused.
MJ: Eunwoo, it doesn't mean that if I live with a woman I am already dating her, okay? There was just a little problem that happened yesterday when I moved in. But both of us just decided to live in the same apartment.
Eunwoo: Oh! Okay! But it means you are happy that you will see her every day?
MJ: Of course, I am! I will always take care of her too and I will try to help her achieve to be the next best employee.
Eunwoo: Wow! You really have good helping hands.
MJ: Yup! Since she’s with me now and I will help her as much as I can.
Eunwoo: I hope Y/N will fall in love with you.
MJ: I hope so! But let’s see what will happen to both of us.
Eunwoo: Okay! I have to work now! Have a nice day!
MJ: Have a nice day too, Eunwoo!
END OF THEIR CONVERSATION.
After MJ had a conversation with Eunwoo, he just smiled and…
“I will make Y/N mine no matter what happens!” MJ thought and he just went back to work. As time goes by, it was already their lunch break and both of them just had lunch with their friends instead.
While they are in the pantry, Jerin and Sanha saw MJ that…
"Y/N, MJ keeps looking at you and it seems he is going to give something to you. Here he comes!" Jerin said and Y/N was surprised when MJ approached their table and he smiled at her and her friends.
“I wanted to give this to you,” MJ said as he gave her a bottle of cold coffee and Y/N blushed.
“How did he know it’s my favorite? Oh well, I think it's only a coincidence that it's my favorite coffee,” Y/N thought and she just smiled at him.
“You shouldn’t have bought me this coffee because you already treated me for dinner last night,” Y/N said then while they are still talking to each other, Sanha and Jerin got giddy.
“It’s no biggie, Y/N! I hope that coffee will energize you for working today,” MJ said.
“Thanks, MJ!” Y/N said as both of them smiled.
“I have to go and probably my friends are waiting for me,” MJ said and Y/N nodded and MJ just left them.
"MJ treated you for dinner last night, huh? That's so sweet on the first day of you and him living in the same apartment," Jerin said.
“I didn’t expect that even though you two don’t talk here in the office at all. You two will be close to each other quickly,” Sanha said as he smiled.
“He treated me for dinner last night because he insists and also, I think because of the problem between our signed contracts,” Y/N said.
“I doubt that was only his reason that he treated you for dinner,” Jerin said as she and Sanha teased Y/N.
“Just stop it you two! Let’s just finish our lunch and we should finish things up,” Y/N said then Jerin and Sanha just laughed at her. As time goes by, it was time for them to go home and someone approached Y/N’s working station and it’s MJ.
“Are you ready to go home?” MJ asked.
“Yup! Let’s go! By the way, Jerin and Sanha, I have to go now! Bye guys!” Y/N said.
"Okay! MJ, take care of Y/N, okay?" Jerin asked and MJ slightly laughed.
“Don’t worry I will take care and protect Y/N,” MJ said as he suddenly wrapped his arms around Y/N’s shoulder and she was surprised at his action then Sanha and Jerin were surprised too but just smiled at them.
“Why do you sound like you are Y/N’s boyfriend? Is there something that we don’t know about the two of you?” Sanha asked and Y/N suddenly glared at Sanha but MJ didn’t notice her but when he was about to answer Sanha’s question.
"We really should get going MJ. You can talk to them some time," Y/N said.
“Oh! Okay! We have to go bye!” MJ said then Jerin and Sanha nodded and they waved goodbye to them.
"I can really feel that MJ has already feelings for her and he will not play with Y/N's heart," Jerin said.
"I think so too! Also, he can make Y/N be the next best employee of our department," Sanha said and Jerin agreed with his statement. As for Y/N and MJ who already got home and already changed into comfortable clothes they had dinner and watched their favorite shows and…
“I suddenly remember that you wanted me to help you become the best employee, right?” MJ asked.
“Yup! I will be honest with you that I envy you so much because you keep getting the recognition and I think that I also deserve it because I have perfect attendance, I am a punctual person, and don’t have any mistakes in doing my job until now,” Y/N said as she sighed and can’t look at him and MJ was kinda surprised how Y/N being so honest to him.
“I understand how you feel Y/N. But I don’t know if you will be able to do the things that I do to be the best employee because I can see that you are not sociable at all and you are an introvert, right?” MJ asked.
"Yup! I am an introverted person," Y/N said.
“But if you will give a try to be more sociable in many ways you can also gain more friends too and also, aside from being punctual, having a perfect attendance and not having mistakes in work you should try to mingle with other people but of course, you should mingle with those people who are just good influence to you so that, when you needed help in work they will be able to share their knowledge to you and you will be able to improve on your job and also, you will be more confident be a helping hand to others,” MJ said as he smiled brightly at her and Y/N blushed.
“It means you are now included to my list who are the people that gives me good influence,” Y/N said as she smiled back.
"Of course, I am! Also, I will never put you in danger. Just be careful always. Because not all people are the same. But I suggest sometimes you should try also going with your teammates like when they planned a get together so that they will know that somehow you aren’t hard to talk to and they will discover that you are friendly. But!” MJ said.
“But what?” Y/N asked as she looked at him.
“But still, it doesn’t mean that you should always follow them on what they want. You can always say “NO” if you already know that it’s out of your limit because if you keep saying "YES" but you are already out of your limits it can put you in danger. Remember that okay?" MJ said as he looked at her seriously.
“Okay! No worries I will put that into my mind and thanks for all of your advice. I am glad that I had the chance to have this kind of conversation with you,” Y/N said as she smiled.
“Me too! I really hope you will be able to gain more friends,” MJ said.
“Don’t worry I will try my best to communicate with others too,” Y/N said.
“That’s great! We should go to sleep and we still have work tomorrow,” MJ said.
“Okay! Good night MJ!” Y/N said.
“Good night and sweet dreams Y/N!” MJ said as both of them smiled at each other and went inside their rooms.
FAST FORWARD…
It’s been one month since Y/N and MJ live in the same apartment and somehow Y/N starting to be more sociable that made MJ happy for her because Y/N is becoming more confident to approach other people and also, thanks to MJ's advice to her. It was already Friday and at that time, Y/N sent a message to MJ and it says…
“MJ you can go home first, I will join later my teammates for a drink in the bar, - Y/N”
When MJ saw it he chuckled and replied…
"Okay, Y/N! Just don't drink too much, okay? I will just wait for you in our place- MJ"
“Don’t worry I will go back home safely and I will not drink too much - Y/N”
“Okay! Have fun later with them! - MJ”
“Thanks! Take care and be safe when you go home later - Y/N”
After exchanging messages with MJ, Y/N didn’t know Jerin is looking at her and…
“Just don’t drink too much, okay?” Jerin said as she read one of MJ’s messages and Y/N was startled at her sudden appearance behind her and Jerin laughed at her.
“You know, I will not be surprised that you two will be dating and he’s very caring about you,” Jerin said.
“It’s normal that both of us taking care of each other since we are living in the same apartment and also, you know he is helping me to be the best employee. Did you already forgot?” Y/N asked.
“Well, you’re right! But as I can see whenever both of you going home together it’s like you two are very sweet to each other and sometimes, the look of your eyes to each other have spark and MJ looks like your boyfriend rather your friend only,” Jerin said as she smiled at her and Y/N blushed.
“Let’s just not assume things, shall we? Let’s just go back to work and have some fun later, okay?” Y/N said and Jerin nodded and smiled at her. As time goes by, it was already time for Y/N and their teammates to have some fun in the bar and MJ went home first. As Y/N already in the bar…
“You should have made MJ join us tonight,” Jerin said.
“He can’t because he’s kinda busy too,” Y/N said.
“Are you sure about that?” Jerin asked.
“Yup! Also, I forgot to tell you that I won’t be staying here for a long time because I don’t want to get drunk and I will be going home alone and it’s dangerous,” Y/N said.
“Why don’t MJ pick you up here?” one of Y/N’s teammates asked and Y/N chuckled.
“I don’t want to bother him and he just went home and probably he is now resting in our apartment,” Y/N said.
“Okay! If you said so!” one of Y/N’s teammates said and smiled at her. As the drinks arrived at their table, one by one took their drinks, and sometimes, they play games but there was one time, Y/N keep losing where the consequence that she should drink her alcoholic drink in one shot that made her drunk and Jerin kept telling her to stop but Y/N was really stubborn and suddenly Jerin had an idea of calling MJ. As for MJ who is still waiting for Y/N to come home, he suddenly received a call and he answered it.
THEIR CONVERSATION…
MJ: Y/N! Are you going home now?
Jerin: I am sorry. This is Jerin, Y/N’s friend. I think you should pick her up here in the bar.
MJ: Huh? Why? Is she drunk?
Jerin: Umm… Yes! I didn’t expect that Y/N will be very stubborn when she is drunk and it’s her first time to drink with our teammates.
MJ: Oh! Okay! Give me the name and address of the bar then I will pick her up.
Jerin: Okay! Thanks, MJ!
MJ: Okay! I will be there few minutes.
END OF CONVERSATION.
Then as soon as Jerin sent the address of the bar to MJ he went there as soon as possible and as MJ reached the bar and he saw that Y/N is now asleep near Jerin and he sighed.
“I am sorry if we made Y/N drunk and I think she really had fun joining us for tonight,” Jerin said.
“It’s okay I understand. I will carry her in my back instead,” MJ said and Jerin nodded while the other teammates are getting giddy because of MJ being sweet to Y/N and…
“I envy Y/N so much because she has already a sweet boyfriend,” one of Y/N’s teammates said and MJ just chuckled.
"We should get going now, guys! Bye!" MJ said while he was still carrying Y/N in his back.
“Okay! Take care of Y/N!” Jerin said and MJ nodded as he smiled at them. Then MJ placed her in the front seat and he slightly inclined the chair and when he was about to drive he looked at her and…
"You had too much fun, Y/N!" MJ said as he slightly laughed at her. As they reached their apartment, he carried her going to her room and laid her in the bed, removed her shoes, and just put a blanket over her but when he was about to leave her, Y/N suddenly pulled MJ close to her that made MJ surprised and…
“Don’t leave me please!” Y/N said as she still in a drunken state and MJ blushed but when he was trying to get rid of Y/N’s hands to him, Y/N suddenly hugged him more and wrapped her legs around him and MJ was so shocked.
“Shit! It seems I will not be able to get out of her side tonight but the sleeping position is kinda weird,” MJ thought as he just tried to sleep with her but as time goes by, it was already 1 am and MJ can’t still sleep beside her because her legs are wrapped around him and he suddenly realized Y/N’s top was unbuttoned that made MJ gulped at the sight of her breast and he can feel that he is getting hard and…
“Shit! I shouldn’t have seen that!” MJ thought but as Y/N suddenly moved against him…
“Fuck! Stop that Y/N!” MJ said in a loud voice and Y/N woke up because of his voice and that time she was already sober up and she was surprised that she actually hugged MJ tightly and pulled out from him.
“Shit! I am so sorry MJ! I just sober up now,” Y/N said as she gulped when she saw that MJ was now already hard against his pants and MJ noticed her reaction.
“See what you did to me?” MJ asked as he smirked and he suddenly kissed her hungrily and Y/N just responded to his kiss and while they making out, MJ went above her and kissed her neck then MJ’s hands went to unbutton her top and cupped her clothed breast that made Y/N moan into the kiss and he successfully slipped his tongue inside her mouth and dominated the kiss. Then suddenly they stopped and MJ's eyes stared at Y/N full of lust and Y/N just blushed.
“Strip now, Y/N!” MJ said and Y/N just obeyed him and MJ continued to stare at her in every move she made and he is just becoming more turned on and when Y/N was already naked he licked his lips and…
"Shit! You are so hot and sexy, Y/N!" MJ said and Y/N just blushed at his remark. Then MJ suddenly removed all of his clothes and when MJ was now the naked one…
“Oh shit! He has a perfect body!” Y/N thought and suddenly bite her lips.
“Like what you see?” MJ asked as he smirked and he suddenly pushed her back in the bed and attacked her neck again that made Y/N moaned his name softly and MJ bit and sucked her neck harshly that made a visible hickey on it.
"You are now mine Y/N!" MJ said as he whispered in her ears and licked her earlobe and Y/N just moaned. Then MJ's lips went to her breast as he licks and bites her nipple that made one of Y/N's hands went to his head and caressed it and slightly pushing more to her breast and MJ just smirked at her action. Then MJ ran his tongue between her breast and he left wet kisses on her stomach, belly button, and to her thighs. MJ suddenly spread her legs widely that made Y/N conscious and MJ felt it.
“Y/N, remember you are beautiful and sexy for me. Don’t be insecure and I will really prove it to you at this hour,” MJ said as he winked at her and Y/N tried to smile but she gulped the sight of MJ being between her legs and when she was also about to talk, MJ’s tongue suddenly dived into her core and he licked and sucked it harshly that made Y/N’s head laid back into the pillow and gripped the sheets and moan his name loudly.
"Keep moaning my name babe! You look so hot!" MJ said as he continued to eat her core wildly and he decided to put his hands around her thighs and pulled it more to his mouth and his tongue got more access inside her core and Y/N almost screamed his name because of MJ's tongue doing its magic into her core and…
“Shit! Like that MJ!” Y/N said and MJ just smirked. But as MJ continued to eat her wildly...
“Fuck! If you keep doing that you will make me cum!” Y/N said.
“You can cum anytime for me babe!” MJ said. Then after a few seconds, Y/N cum onto his mouth and he sucked all of her juices that made a slurping sound in the room. MJ suddenly stood up and…
"Wait for a while I will get a condom in my room. You can rest for a second," MJ said and Y/N just nodded and trying to breathe normally and MJ just went to his room and get a condom and went back to her room then he put the condom onto his cock and went above her.
“This is your first time, right?” MJ asked.
“Yes!” Y/N said as she blushed and can’t look at him and MJ cupped her face to look at him.
“Don’t worry I will be gentle to you. To be honest, I like you and I love you for a long time, Y/N,” MJ said and Y/N was surprised.
“I like you and I love you too MJ!” Y/N said as both of them smiled at each other.
“Are you ready? We can just take our time if you want,” MJ said.
“No! I am ready! I want you too so bad!” Y/N said and MJ smirked then he suddenly kissed her lips passionately and one of his hands went to his cock and inserted it into her core slowly that made Y/N moan loudly in the kiss and when they pulled out from the kiss MJ suddenly saw that Y/N’s face is in pain and…
"Did I hurt you that much?" MJ asked with a concerned voice.
"A little but don't worry I know I will handle it and will feel pleasure later," Y/N said as she bites her lips trying to bear the pain she felt and MJ suddenly sucked her breast again to make her distract from the pain. But when MJ was already fully into her core, Y/N already adjusted and suddenly stared at him.
“Move now MJ!” Y/N said and MJ smirked.
“Sure babe! You can tell me if you want me to harder and rougher!” MJ said as he suddenly gripped her waist and thrust his cock to her at a fast pace and Y/N eyes closed and gripped MJ’s arms.
"Fuck! You are so tight, babe!" MJ said as he suddenly changed the pace from fast to a harder and rougher pace that made Y/N arched her back violently and throw her head back and moaned his name loudly.
"Shit! You are so fucking hot seeing you like that being a moaning mess!" MJ said and he suddenly hugged her body close to him that made his cock go deeper to her and continued at a rougher pace that made Y/N screamed his name because his cock hit all the right places inside her and her hands were also on his broad back as she dug and raked her nails that will surely have red marks on it.
“Oh shit! Feel so good being deeper to you!” MJ said as he bit Y/N’s earlobe and he keeps whispering sweet and dirty things to her that made Y/N crazy. But as time goes by MJ still can’t stop being rough to her that made Y/N oversensitive at her core and…
“Oh gosh MJ! I am about to cum! Shit!” Y/N said.
"Cum with me, Y/N!" MJ said as he continued to ram his cock to her and in a few thrusts, both of them cum and MJ's body suddenly rested for few seconds above her and Y/N hugged his body that made MJ smiled and…
“I don’t want this to end,” Y/N said and when MJ was about to get out from the hug, Y/N hugged him more even though his body is still above her and…
“Me too, Y/N! I don’t want this to end but I don’t want to suffocate you underneath me. I should get up and remove the condom first from my cock,” MJ said and Y/N just laughed and she stopped hugging his body. Then MJ pulled out his cock that made Y/N slightly moan from his action and he removed the condom and threw it in the trash bin near the bed then he went back to lay beside her and looked at her.
“I am so happy that you are now mine because since college I already like you,” MJ said and Y/N was surprised.
"Since college? You didn't become my classmate that time in any subject," Y/N said.
"I know but that time I am in my senior year and you are in your junior year and also, I didn't have a chance to make a move to you that time because you know, senior year have so many things to do especially thesis and other requirements since I am already a graduating student that time and also, our class schedules are not on the same time," MJ said.
“Oh! Wait! I kinda remember you now because you are the one who keeps hosting events in the university, right?” Y/N asked.
“Yup! You’re right! They kept choosing me to host the events because they really know me that I am good at hosting and I am active in some extra co-curricular activities,” MJ said.
"Oh! I see! Also, I remember you are known to be the Mr. Sociable in the university too because I heard almost in every year level of the students you have some friends including professors in other departments. That time, I thought that you look like a politician or whatever public figure it is because you are very popular in the university," Y/N said and both of them laughed.
“To be honest, I never joined the student council because it’s not my cup of tea. I just really like entertaining other people. To be honest, I didn’t expect we will work in the same company and I will meet you again after few years I graduated and I am so happy that I have you now, Y/N,” MJ said as he smiled and Y/N blushed as she hugged him and MJ hugged her back.
”Me too! I think our decision to live in the same apartment is not a bad idea at all and also, I thought that my purpose for you to live with me is that only you can help me to be the best employee but…” Y/N suddenly was cut off when MJ kissed her lips quickly and…
“But instead it became a sweet and loving purpose to us,” MJ said as both of them smiled at each other.
“You’re right! We should sleep now. Good night and I love you MJ!” Y/N said.
“Good night and I love you too so much Y/N!” MJ said as hugged her close to him and kissed her forehead and both of them went to sleep. As they continued to be a loving couple, Y/N finally achieved to be the best employee but sometimes, MJ is really protective and he also joined Y/N whenever she joins a get together with her teammates to make sure that Y/N will not be drunk again but Y/N understands it and their relationship is a sweet and loving one that made her teammates more envious of them.

Flower | 01
Tumblr media
; Hoseok x Reader
; Genre: Fluff, future angst, future smut
; Word Count: 2.8k
; Synopsis: You finally decide to take a dip into the world of online dating and find the Flower dating app. One of the top matches for you proves to be a guy who looks to be your complete opposite; tattooed, pierced, a metalhead and oh...incredibly handsome. What happens when you throw caution to the wind and reach out to him?
; A/N: This is going to be a drabble series. It’s not planned out, it has no planning. It will be written as and when I get the inspiration for it. The Flower app is inspired by the Bumble app in which women make the first move on it. This is just purely something to try and get me back into enjoying writing again so...please show it and me some love because I already love this Hoseok? I haven’t proof read lol
Flower Masterpost
“Okay...okay. Let’s do this...you can do this. It’s easy. Just...download the app and go. I mean, what’s the worst that could happen? Well you could get murdered. That would suck. But it would resolve a lot of issues I guess. On the other hand...I could meet the love of my life. I mean...is that likely?” The soft sounds of your muttering are probably barely heard over the soft playing music through the speakers connected to your television, YouTube playing mindlessly to itself on the screen.
Your focus though, is solely on the phone in your hand. Soyeon, your best friend, had been bugging you to join some online dating sites for a while and it had only gotten worse when your other friend Chungha told her that she fully agreed with her. Part of you felt cornered by them both but another part of you understood them.
They were just looking out for you. You were naturally quiet and shy, introverted and preferring to remain inside or on the sides if you were dragged to a party. An inability to engage in small talk meant that that you struggled to make conversation with people as well. That all resulted in a small circle of friends who understood you well but that was it, everyone else was merely acquaintances who would hang out with you simply because they were friends with your friends.
As such, it meant that you struggled with dating. And by that, you mean that you hadn’t been in a relationship for a long time. Nor could you do flings like some of your friends did, the very thought filled you with anxiety.
This was why they had suggested trying online dating, because you’d lamented to them about how lonely you’d started to feel. You were still relatively young, and you knew that relationships weren’t the be all and end all. But when you haven’t dated since college, it starts to feel like no one is interested in you at all. And that was a hard feeling to take in.
You wanted to be like your friends. To have someone to talk to about things without feeling embarrassed, someone who would enjoy being in your company and actively seek you out, someone to be intimate with. Someone to fall in love with. It sounded cheesy and stupid but both Soyeon and Chungha had taken your concerns to heart.
They’d asked if you wanted to be set up on blind dates but the very idea of that made you lose your breath with anxiety, the fear of failure or judgement from someone who has never met you before overwhelming. So Soyeon had suggested online dating and now here you were, curled up on your couch on a Saturday night, a glass of water on the side because you don’t like alcohol and the app store open to dating apps.
“Tinder...isn’t that just for hookups?” You murmur, frowning as you look at some of the reviews. There were probably people who had managed to get lasting relationships on Tinder, but the idea of having random people actively deciding whether or not you were worth trying simply from a photo or something was horrible. Not that you had any idea how it actually worked, but still…
A few other apps look to be the more traditional online dating route and you consider whether to download one of them. But then you see an app that attracts your attention, a small soft pink and orange logo with the outline of a white flower in it. The title is simply ‘Flower’ and you take click on it to read the description.
‘Find the perfect partner and watch love or friendship bloom like a flower!
The Flower app asks you to set up a profile by asking you a series of questions to determine your interests and personality. We then set you up with a series of people we consider to be a good match and give you the opportunity to initiate a conversation!
Here at Flower, we want to make sure that dating is fun and most importantly, equal. As such, we allow women to be the one to initiate contact with their matches. This means that if you’re looking for a same sex relationship, then you can both reach out. The same goes if you don’t identify as female or male. If you’re looking for a heterosexual relationship, then you can reach out to your match and he can decide whether he wants to respond.
We don’t tolerate any form of hate speech or intolerance and will respond with quick action against this. At Flower, we promote inclusivity, diversity and tolerance. We want the world to grow and bloom with love, one relationship at a time!’
The reviews for the app seemed to back up their description and you felt curious. An impulse takes over and you download it, tongue sticking out as you wait before loading it up once it’s done. The interface is clean and take a moment to chew your lip before clicking the sign up button.
Everything seems to be rudimentary at first, asking for your age and location, name and occupation. But then it starts to ask some other questions. Your favourite film genres, a list of favourite films, your favourite books, where you’d like to go on vacation, favourite music and songs and so much more. Some of it felt bizarre, like would you rather eat chicken or beef? Would you rather drive an Audi or a Ford?
You presumed it all had a reason though, and after what felt like five minutes of answering questions, you finally had a profile. Flicking through the gallery on your phone, you found a picture that you felt was flattering while still showing your personality. It’s from a few months ago and was taken with a Polaroid camera, giving it that distinctive filter that always seemed to be flattering everyone.
You were giving a small smile, eyes looking to the left of the camera while your chin was in your hand. Nose wrinkled slightly, a soft and fluffy white cream sweater covers you while a cherry blossom scarf is wrapped elegantly round your neck. And on top of all that...a bright yellow Pikachu hat sits on top of your head.
It had been your birthday and the girls had managed to coax you out for dinner before presenting you with a bunch of presents. They’d been a random assortment, as usual, but you’d loved it all. A skin care gift set, the Pikachu hat and a Pusheen stationery set. Your colleagues at your admin assistant job had given you the side eye when you’d added yet more cute and strange things to your already colourful and cluttered desk but you’d ignore them.
This picture had been one of the best taken of you recently and you smiled gently as you made it your profile picture. You didn’t like being photographed, constantly convinced that you were unattractive but your friends were convinced otherwise.
Everything looked to be set up and you wondered what you meant to do now, when a sudden notification pops up on the screen with ‘20 Matches Found’. Sudden anxiety makes you feel sick, stomach rolling with nerves as your veins practically fizz as you click on the view more button. These were people who the app had compared your own answers to and considered to be the best matches.
There’s a tiny moment of waiting as a tiny flower in orange and pink blooms and you sigh when it finally clears. The profiles are shown in descending order with those most matched to least. A tiny refresh button in the corner let’s you see that you can refresh your matches if necessary.
Each profile shows their profile image, their name, age and location. Scrolling through them, you note idly that you seem to have got a wide range of people that you had matched with. A 24-year-old swimming instructor named Kim Chaeyoung, a 31-year-old high school English teacher named Seo Jinwoo, a 29-year-old mechanic called Park Jisoo and more.
It was interesting to see the wide range of people that had come back and you perused their profiles carefully, reading the little description they’d written for themselves along with a few answers to questions similar to what you’d had to answer. The app seemed to pull a range range of questions for you read, with each person’s being slightly different.
You supposed it meant that you would need to ask for that information and you found yourself curious about one or two people, pressing the little button that indicated it would bookmark their profile for later viewing. Apparently you had a week to make the first interaction before it would vanish.
Humming lightly, you wondered if anyone would be interested in talking to you?
Everyone looked so pretty on here and you wondered if you matched up to them. Would they consider you worth their time? Biting your lower lip, you shrug your shoulders and decided you had nothing to lose really. You didn’t know these people in real life and no one would laugh at you for simply reaching out and trying to make a connection.
You come across one profile that makes you pause though, your brow lifting in surprise as you wonder why on earth the app has matched you with this guy. The two of you don’t even look like you come from the same planet, nevermind have enough aligning interests to warrant being in your top 20 matches at the moment.
Clicking on his profile, you read through his basic info question while you purse your lips, making soft noises in your throat.
Jung Hoseok. 28 years old. IT Technician.
He sounded pretty normal and you wouldn’t even give it a second thought normally, but his appearance did not match the casual job description he had. Maybe you were just being stereotypical here, but most of the IT people in your workplace were of the nerdy looking variety. And you only say that because every one of them wore some form of Rick and Morty or other pop culture shirts.
Which you were fine with, because you enjoyed most of the same things too. But no one looked like this guy.
The reason you were so surprised was because of his profile picture, and despite your earlier thoughts about just sending messages to everyone for the sake of it, you felt a well of anxiety rising again as you looked at him. This guy is quite possibly the most handsome man you’ve ever seen, the kind of guy that people only think exists when they’re rich and famous.
But he’s also completely unlike you. He’s evidently at some sort of event as he has a bottle of beer in his hand while his other hand is making the metal horns shape. One eye is closed to camera, winking while his tongue is poking out of his mouth on one side, white teeth visible beneath pink lips amidst gold skin. A silver ring pierced his lower lip on the right while a small ball is visible in his tongue.
His hair is jet black, gleaming in the crappy lighting in a messy state that looks slightly wet while his exposed skin has a sheen of sweat on it. A red and black shirt unbuttoned on him, rolled up to his elbows to reveal toned forearms that are completely covered in vibrant and bright colour.
The tattoos make what you presume to be full sleeves on both arms, his left arm appearing to be a swirling galaxyscape with brilliant galaxies, planets, moons and more interwoven with, bizarrely, dragons that are almost transparent. They look beautiful though, and you get an image of space dragons made of fine dust flying through the vast expanse of space as you look at them.
His other arm looks to be a mesh of things together, flames and flowers and skulls and ships. None of it makes any sense to you, but you’re positive it probably means something to him. One of the sleeves expands onto his hand, the one showing the horns and you eye the clock tattoo that takes up the space.
His tattoos look to expand beyond his arms as the black top beneath his shirt gives tantalising glimpses of the black and colour tattoos that obviously sprawl across his chest. Strands creep upwards, almost to his neck and you get the impression of something fiery, the soft wisps of red and orange looking like burning embers on his skin.
This guy...looked like he belonged in a metal band or tattoo shop. And he was...beautiful, way out of your league.
Which was why you had to have experienced an out of body moment when your finger presses the message button, the screen popping up with an automatic message pre filled out for you.
“Hey, Flower shows that we’re good matches so I’m reaching out to you! If you would like to talk to me, please respond!”
Scowling, you deleted the message, deciding it would be bad manners to just send the template message to someone that you were attracted to. That thought gives you pause, acknowledging that you are in fact attracted to him. He looked like the kind of guy who would take one look at your profile and laugh himself home at the prospect of doing anything with you.
The man clearly thrived on social situations, enough of his profile gave that away and again you wondered why the app matched you together. Maybe he had some secret love of Pokemon or something. Looks could be deceiving, obviously.
And even if you’d never listened to a metal song in your life...you were always open to trying new things. If you were going to open yourself up to the prospect of online dating, then you may as well go fully out of comfort zone.
Swallowing, you carefully type out a short message and spend the next five minutes reading it over as anxiety and fear swirl within you. Indecision causes you to wonder whether you should just delete it all and ignore his profile, going for the safe option of someone who looks like they’d be more accepting of you on your list.
But the allure of something so unlike you pulls you in and you press send, watching the message swoosh away and changing his profile to a soft pink to indicate that you’d initiated contact. Almost immediately you feel sick, body going cold as you pant ever so slightly.
Oh god, he’s going to read that message and take one look at your profile then delete the message. He probably had hookups all the time, the kind of guy you shouldn’t get involved with. You had no interest in being a one night stand and- you shake your head, clenching your teeth and taking a deep breath.
Stereotypes are damaging to yourself and others, you tell yourself quietly. There’s no reason to paint him with a negative brush already when he’s not even had a chance to do anything. And so what if he only wanted hookups? It was the 21st century, men and women could sleep with who they wanted, as often as they wanted and they shouldn’t face the prejudice you’re showing him already.
Before you can even think anything else though, your phone sends out a soft, melodic note and you look down with wide eyes. The message icon has an orange notification on it, signifying that you have a new message on there. Hesitating, you wonder if it’s just one of those generic ‘welcome’ messages that you sometimes get when you sign up for sites.
But the name of the sender tells you very much that it’s not a generic message, and the cold fear mixes with nervous excitement and trepidation as you see Jung Hoseok’s name. He must have already been on his phone to have responded so fast, and you wonder if he’s just sent a polite ‘thank you but no’ back.
It would be awfully nice of him if he did. Embarrassing, but polite.
Opening the message, your jaw drops and eyes widen as you read what he’s responded with.
You: Hi. I don’t know how to use this properly, so I’m sorry if I do it wrong. You showed as a match and...well I guess I say I’m interested? Not as a friend, unless you want that. I mean...the other way. Feel free to say no! Y/N
Reading it back over, you cringe at how...you it sounds. Hesitant and awkward and shy. Dammit, why couldn’t you just seize the moment and sound confident for once? Say something bold that would attract his attention.
And then you read his response.
Hoseok: Hey Y/N. Thanks for reaching out. How are you tonight?

Senior Math
Summary: If there is one rule to high school, it’s you don’t miss PTG parties.
Do or Not Series
Slice of life and fluff
Word Count: 2,517
Kino [Hyunggu] X Reader
[Mentions: Seungkwan and Moonbin as best friends and Myungjun, Jinwoo, and Jinho as close friends]
The days grow longer, and I know summer is just around the corner. This summer is different since this is my last year in high school. It feels bittersweet to watch it all go, to start anew and leave my childhood behind. I doodle in my notebook during math class since senior math sucks. I should have taken college prep. But at least all the funny kids and my friends are in this class. That is the plus side, but when Mr. Davis yells that there are thirty problems for tonight. I want to curl up and die. Can graduation come any sooner? But at the same time, slow its roll? Like there is no happy medium, and oh god, isn’t prom coming up? I completely forgot about that function, a good thing that it’s not for another month.
I start working on them just as the bell rings, and I hear the books slam close around me. Good thing we get to come back up here for another period. Or I would have it out with Mr. Davis. Seungkwan and Moonbin meet me at my desk. “Let’s go bitches!” Seungkwan yells at least Mr. Davis is out. I don’t need detention. He might force me to stay extra days, and I am not cool with that. We laugh, link arms, and rush down to the best period of the day.
When we get our food Moonbin draws in closer to us, “Did you guys hear?” I let out a ‘hmm?’ and Seungkwan waits expectantly, “That PTG is throwing a party?” We gasp, “No way,...” There is only one group that can throw a party. And when they do, they set the whole school ablaze. “This year it’s only by invitation. Since what happened last year.” Oh yeah, a few people got a day in the cell for being drunk and or hosting a party with underage drinking. Seungkwan whispers hastily, “How did you hear?” Moonbin smirks, “Myungjun invited me, and he said I could invite you two, and that’s it.” We exchange a look, and I look down at my food. “I don’t know,...” Seungkwan nudges me, “Come on! It’s our last year! Let’s live it up!” While I’m not one for parties, I can’t say no to the two puppy dog eyes directed at me.
--
Moonbin picks up Seungkwan and me with the radio blasting, and Seungkwan goes, “What if I car surf?!” I gasp, “Well, what are you waiting for?!” He grins, and on cue, the Beach Boys come on. He climbs up through the passenger window and up to the roof. Moonbin and I laugh, and Seungkwan is screaming. Out of joy, I’m not sure, but he hops back in pretty quick. “(Y/n)! It’s your turn!” My eyes nearly pop out of my head, but I can’t help but shrug and roll the window down. I sit on the window hole and pull myself up onto the roof. When I feel the air under my arms nothing, and everything feels real at the same time. As I spin around and act like I’m riding the waves going down and low and up high. When he comes to a red light, I lay down on the roof and take in this feeling of euphoric anxiety. I’m a senior, and these are some of my last high school experiences. Soon these memories will all be distant and only exist in my dreams. I shake those thoughts off and slide back in through the open window. Moonbin goes, “Grab the wheel, Seungkwan, it’s my turn.” My eyes nearly pop out of my head, again, as Seungkwan takes over. He has a hang of it as Moonbin jumps up on top, and I can hear his laughter. He seems to be enjoying it more than us. “Do you know where PTG’s house is?” Seungkwan lets out a hum and goes, “Roughly?” Moonbin yells, “Turn right!” *let’s go surfing now everyone is learning how, come on and safari with me*. Seungkwan turns right, and we pull up to the house in a matter of moments. Moonbin flips off the car, and Seungkwan and I laugh, “You would think he’s drunk already.” I tell Seungkwan, and he laughs. We exit, link arms, and brace ourselves for a fun night.
Wooseok opens the door and invites us in, and the music is already thumping through my soul. We make our way in and find Myungjun and Jinwoo smoking and talking amongst themselves. The three of us grab a drink and join them. “I didn’t expect to see all three of you.” I roll my eyes, “Yes, Jinwoo, sometimes I like to enjoy myself.” He smirks, “I was talking about Seungkwan, but hey.” I shake my head and laugh as the five of us get up and walk around after they put out their cigarettes. We see Jinho, and he grins at us, “Ahh, my favorite five.” Seungkwan goes, “Have you seen Hyunggu?” He scrunches his nose before his eyes come alight. If there is one member to visit during a PTG party, it’s Hyunggu. Not only is he good at party games, but he’s also pretty attractive. It’s not that I have had a major crush on him since eighth grade and the whole group likes to tease me about it or anything. Ever since I let it slip in my Sophomore year, they have teased me about it.
--
Maybe it was from the times when I went over to his house to do a school project. And we stayed up the whole night talking and sharing music. I could never forget the feeling of him telling me his favorite song and turning it up on his speakers. Luckily his room was in the basement so his parents couldn’t care less if his music was loud. Or it was the way we snuck glances at each other as we texted each other in class. Or the way he carried himself, so freely yet reserved. You wouldn’t know he was loud and funny until he was around his friends. It was something I adored about him. After a while, we stopped texting each other, and things went back to how they used to be with me, watching him from afar and wondering what a relationship with him would entail. And him, looking handsome as ever, until one day we no longer shared classes. But I still catch glimpses of him in the hallways, and my heart beats a little faster each time.
--
Myungjun elbows me, and I nearly want to hurl him across the room. I wish I had detention with Mr. Davis to avoid this. No, those end by five, and this party didn’t start until seven. I follow the five of them up the stairs. When we reach his room, my jaw nearly drops to the floor. He has pink hair now,... No one should look that good in pink, but oh god, how he does. I close my jaw back up as I hear, “Now, what we’re gonna play tonight!” We all hoot and holler. There are at least twenty people in this bedroom. “Is seven minutes in heaven!” That’s when I see the post-it notes getting passed around. I shrug and write my name down at worst, I end up with someone I don’t know. Or I end up with an ex, but hopefully, I end up with one of my friends. At least I can talk to them and fake a few moans and hair ruffles to get a good laugh.
“ALRIGHT! All the names are in the bowl! Let’s see who we pull!” He pulls the names out and goes, “Myungjun! And!” We all give a drumroll, “Jinwoo!” Moonbin and I boo, “They’re already dating!” The two of them laugh, “Jealous?!” Everyone laughs as they go hand in hand into the closet. “Maybe I am,” Moonbin says, which makes Seungkwan and I laugh. “Good thing there’s a lot of closets in this house~.” Jinho tells us, and I blink at him, “You mean there is a chance that everyone is gonna go.” “Everyone who put their names in the hat.” I shrug, “Should have expected that. It’s been a while since I went to a PTG party.” Jinho smiles, “We all know who you’re hoping to be with~” I glare, “You guys are awful. We all know who you want, Jinho.” He squints, “Who?” We all let out, “Bomi.” He gasps, “Be quiet! She might hear you!” He waves his hands in front of himself. We roll our eyes, and Wooseok joins us on the bed, “Hey guys!” Seungkwan ruffles his hair, “Good evening, any luck?” He groans, “No, hopefully, my name gets pulled soon. I’m tired!” We laugh at him, and Hyunggu pulls out the next name, “Moonbin and Seungkwan!” I whine, and they shrug, they follow each other into a closet, and I lay back on the bed, “Well, now it’s just us three.” Jinho’s name gets called with Bomi’s immediately, “Just you two, actually!” He says with a skip in his step, "Lucky!" Both Wooseok and I whine.
When Moonbin and Seungkwan return they are shocked to see me still lying there, all by myself. Seeing as Wooseok got paired up with a name I didn’t quite catch. “What did you guys do?” I ask teasingly, “To be honest, we were playing, 'would you rather.'” I shake my head, “Yep, that’s my best friends. They have the opportunity to leave something in a closet behind, and they play ‘would you rather’.” They laugh, and Seungkwan goes, “Yeah, no, I’d much rather kiss a frog.” Moonbin ‘ribbits’ in return, and I laugh. Seungkwan rolls his eyes, “So how many people are left?” I shrug, “Like ten?” Bomi and Jinho never returned, and we can only assume what they are doing right now.
“And last but not least, is (Y/n) and I!” I gasp, “You heard that too?” They both smirk and nod. I get up my nerves shaking me to the core. And there is Hyunggu not too much further in front of me. He grabs my hand and leads me to the farthest door. When he shuts the door, he goes, “You know I always thought you were super attractive.” My chin drops to the floor for the second time tonight. “I always thought the same about you,...” The light that seeps in from under the door barely illuminates our shoes. But it’s not like I needed more detail. I already memorized his outfit, and god, he looks way too good in soft cardigans. I take a step closer and reach my hands up to his face, I cup his cheeks, and he grabs my arms and pulls me up against him. And like in my dreams, we’re making out. His lips are so soft against mine. My hands leave his cheeks, and I snake my hands underneath his cardigan and pull him closer. His hands find their way into my hair and play with it. I let out a little moan, and I feel him smirk against my mouth. I smirk back and push him back against the wall and bring my hands up to his shoulders. Holding him against me, and when the door to the closet opens, it feels like it’s too soon. No, this is just like my dreams. I wake up before we end up together. Because I know when I walk out of this closet, kissing Hyunggu will be no more than a figment of my imagination. Although it’s the best damn makeout session, I have ever had. I hear the gasps, “I told you he liked (Y/n)!” Seungkwan says and hits Moonbin upside the head. Did they bet on this? I wouldn't put it past them. We slowly untangle ourselves from each other. He smiles at me, and we walk out of the closet.
I hear moans from the farthest room on the left, and I realize that we assumed correctly about Bomi and Jinho. Good for them, I think to myself as I part from Hyunggu. What does this mean? Are we going to pursue something, or are we just going to let this memory fade to dust? I find myself laying my head against Seungkwan’s shoulder and sipping from a new solo cup. “Do you think he meant anything about that? Or was it just the heat of the moment?” Moonbin rubs my shoulder, “The only way to know is to ask.” I groan, “That’s not the answer I’m looking for.” Seungkwan groans, “It’s the only one we can provide.” I groan, “I know!”
--
That Monday, he comes strutting into Mr. Davis’ fifth-period class. I feel Moonbin kick me under the table, and I look up to yell at him. When I catch Hyunggu’s eyes and he waves, and I wave back. Ugh, this is suffering, but I’m happy about it. How does that make any sense? Mr. Davis dismisses him and tells him he’ll have the grades in by Wednesday. The pink blur makes my heart swoon as he walks out with a pip in his step. I need to do something about these feelings, does he like me or not? I need a daisy,… Which leads to me cutting out a daisy instead of doing homework and ripping off the paper petals. I end up on ‘he loves me’, and I take that as a sign of hope. When the bell rings, I link my arms with my two friends, and we head to lunch.
We sit at our table idly chatting about prom and the end of the school year. When I catch sight of the pink blur, yet this time, he’s standing across from where I’m sitting. I raise my eyebrows, and he smiles, “Hey,... Can I talk to you about the other day?” I shrug, and Seungkwan pats my thigh and wishes me luck. I follow him outside of the cafeteria, and he smiles. “I,... uh,... like you.” I gulp and rub the back of my neck nervously before I confess, “I like you too, Hyunggu.” His eyes light up, and he asks, “Would you want to go out with me?” I grin and nod, “Tomorrow at 7?” I nod again with a bigger smile on my face, and he walks me back over to my lunch table. When he leaves, the two of them look at me expectantly, and I tell them everything.
The date went fantastic we went to a café together before we went to a house show. We jumped around to the music and laughed between sets. And a week later, I asked him to prom. He was blushing like a bright red cherry, and my face was just as red as he agreed. During the first slow dance of the night, I asked him to be mine. Who would have known that Hyunggu liked me back and that we would end up dancing the night away in each other’s arms? Not me, but I'm so glad we're together now.

Finding Cinderella | Series | Chapter One
Title: Finding Cinderella
Pairings: Donghae x reader,(Primary) Heechul x reader (Secondary), Kyuhyun x reader (Secondary)
Author’s Note: I have been planning this story for a while but have been battling many writers’ blocks in doing so. This story will mainly focus on Donghae and the reader but will have branching stories between Heechul, Kyuhyun and two secondary OC characters.
Sidenote: Yes, this series will include Kangin and Sungmin. This was originally started back when the two of them were still active members and in my heart they will always be members so I will include them wherever I see fit.

It was a week before the big SM Entertainment company party. Although it was a special occasion to celebrate the company’s success to which not only the artists but also the staff was invited, the staff working for the company had to bust their chops off to get everything ready for the big night.
Music had to be arranged; a DJ to run tracks during the night and he had to be the best of the best, equipment had to be ready and in place to ensure no shortcomings throughout the party, building in a karaoke bar for staff and artist alike to sing their hearts out in the name of good fun. A dance floor especially designed for the occasion, each tile placed with precision in a pattern that, when lit up would create special effects like a lake, fireworks or fire. Decorations had to be in order, balloons, strings, posters of every artist signed and invited. Food prepared by the best chefs in Korea to suit everyone’s taste and preference and to show that SM Entertainment was a well off company who left no dime unturned in treating their staff.
“Yes… Yes, of course, I understand that it takes time to prepare all the preferred dishes… Yes, I understand that changing it last minute will cost extra, that will be no problem.”
Park Eunmi was pacing back and forth through the party venue, the light of her Bluetooth headset blinking rapidly as she once again had to deal with last minute changes by the company, having to convey these orders back to the suppliers and dealing with the complaints that it caused. It was one of the downsides of her job as secretary to the board of executives that she has grown to accept over time.
At age eighteen she started interning at the company for half of minimum wage as she was in dire need of money, having to help support her family after her father’s untimely death that left her with her stepmother and twin step-siblings, as well as pay for her enrollment into the Korean National University of Arts. Her father, Park Jinwoo, had supposedly left some money as inheritance, but had apparently signed it off on her stepmother’s name instead, as he believed that it would be safer in an adult’s hands than with the children. Eunmi had no idea if that was truly the case as she had never been allowed to look at the will, but she assumed that it had been decided as such.
Eunmi had always struggled with accepting the new additions to the family. Her mother had died when she was still young and soon after her father met Kwon Seomi, a rather extravagant young woman with twins of her own; a boy named Kwon Seojun and a girl named Kwon Seola.  They were just a year older than Eunmi and to describe them as mischievous was an understatement. It didn’t take long for her father to decide he needed a new mother figure in their lives and married Seomi the following year. Though Seomi never treated Eunmi warmly and motherly, she did her best to tolerate the new additions to the family for the sake of her father who seemed to truly love the new woman in her life.
Seomi never worked a day in her life and spent her days spending Jinwoo’s money for which he worked hard day in and day out. Jinwoo was a talented producer and manager at an entertainment label known as SM Entertainment. Back when he started working for the company, they were just starting their rise in the industry and have long since grown into the company people know, love and sometimes hate today. He had garnered quite a reputation for himself as a respected and praised producer. Unfortunately, when Eunmi had just turned eighteen her father fell ill with an incurable disease and passed away, leaving her in the care of Seomi who reluctantly took care of her as she knew Jinwoo had left most of his inheritance to his favorite and only blood-related daughter but decided not to inform her of the inheritance. Instead, she decided to keep the money for herself to make sure she and her two children could continue to live comfortably while leading Eunmi to believe that they had to turn every dime to make ends meet.
Because Eunmi promised her father to treat Seomi, Seojun and Seola as if they were her real family, she tolerated the unfair treatment they put her through. She endured having to move to the space in the attic as her own room, she endured watching her siblings dress in the newest clothes while she received the hand me downs, believing that because they were older they deserved it first. She endured being looked down upon and left out and finally, she endured having to find a job to pay for her own college degree. She had witnessed Seomi waste money on the twins for an education they threw away like it was worthless and accepted it reluctantly when Seomi told her they couldn’t possibly pay for her enrollment into the National University of Arts.
Deciding that she didn’t want to give up on her dream of becoming a performing artist as her mother, who was a promising young dancer before she settled down for the married life, she decided to take a job to earn some extra money to pay for her enrollment. She applied for a job as an intern at SM Entertainment, stating that she would do anything for less than minimum wage. Feeling sorry for her desperation, as well as acknowledging the fact that she was the daughter of one of their most praised producers, they decided to give her a chance.
Eunmi started doing the jobs no one else wanted to do; get coffee, deliver mail, clean offices, rehearsal spaces and bathrooms, organizing supplies amongst other things. Her dedication didn’t go unnoticed and soon she was promoted to a full-time employee working minimum wage and being rewarded with more honorable tasks such as answering phone calls, arranging the agendas of managers within the company and welcoming guests. And soon she had earned herself enough money to pay for her first term at the university.
But as second term was creeping closer, Seomi’s inheritance well dried up and soon declared that they no longer had enough money to get by. Seeing as she was the only person with a paying job, Seomi guilted Eunmi into giving up her studies and work to support the family. A choice she regretted from the moment she made it, but felt obligated to make as she had promised her father to take care and accept the Kwon family as if they had been blood-related.
Eunmi focused more and more on her job at SM Entertainment and over the years managed to work herself up as secretary to the board of directors, one of the most highly sought after secretary positions within the company. She was directly assisting the current CEO as well as the higher ranked managers who called the shots on any endeavor the company made regarding investments and artistic releases. At the age of twenty-six she had made quite a name for herself for being dedicated and focused, never settling for less than perfect and never handing in a task half-assed.
Her position came with a lot of responsibilities, a lot of stress and required a lot of her free time as she had to be on call at all times. If a scandal broke out, she had to be present to help fix the situation and pull the right strings to cover up that which needed to be covered. If a group released a new song or album, she had to make sure that all the schedules to promote the artist were planned out and greenlit. If a concert had to be planned she had to make sure that the venue and all that involved the concert was arranged to perfection. The only thing she didn’t do was meet and greet with the artist themselves, much to her dismay. It was a job that left her with no social life whatsoever, but she was thankful for the chance she had received and grown to love her job and accomplishments.
“No, we need it on the 25th!” She sighed as she ran her fingers through her hair as her other hand browsed through the list of things she had yet to arrange before the party. “Listen, we are willing to pay extra for the inconvenience if that can speed up the process but if you’re incapable of meeting our demands then I am afraid I will have to take this order elsewhere.” Her tone was demanding and serious, warning the person on the other side that she was not messing around. Her lips curled into a pleased smile as she heard the person stutter at her threat, quickly confirming that they would definitely be able to meet with their demands. After all, there was a lot at stake for a supplier if they refused a client as big as SM Entertainment. “I will forward the payment today, thank you for your cooperation.”
Eunmi pressed the button on her headset to cut the call as she leaned over her clipboard and crossed off the catering on the list of things to arrange. She barely had a moment to breathe when footsteps hurriedly approached her.
“Eunmi-ah! Big problems!”
“Taewoo-ssi.. Calm down,” She frowned as she turned to the taller, somewhat older colleague. His face was screaming panic as sweat was dripping down his brow. “What’s wrong?”
“T-the flowers… The celebrational flower gifts… They got delivered and… and… It’s terrible!”
“They got delivered today?” She frowned, according to their agreement with the supplier and the planning they weren’t supposed to be delivered until the day of the party on the 25th to ensure they were still freshly blooming.
“Yes but that’s not the worst part!” Taewoo continued as he desperately ran his fingers through his messy curls. “They sent us lillies. White lillies.”
“Lilies?! Are they trying to curse us?!” She immediately exclaimed. White lilies were often used for funerals and condolences but never used as a flower gift to congratulate someone.  “I thought we specifically ordered an assortment of orchids and roses!”
“We did, it even said so on the sign off sheet!” He nodded as she handed her the piece of paper.
“Then who signed for this?” Clearly the person who signed for the delivery didn’t check if the goods coincided with what they ordered, much less had the amount of common sense to realize that white lilies were definitely not used for their flower gifts.
“Someone at the front desk did… They were here and signed off when I got there.” He huffed again, unlike Eunmi he was less than compatible with any type of stress thrown his way. He had been in the company longer than Eunmi did and when she first started out he was somewhat of a mentor to her. But as she grew within the company, it was clear that the student surpassed the teacher and Taewoo often relied on her expertise to get through his own assignments. Eunmi didn’t mind as much, she owed a great deal to his supervision and encouragement when she first started out and at least he thanked her greatly after the fact. “Yah… What are we going to do? We’re in trouble… The party is in two days...”
As her brows knitted into a thoughtful frown, she tried to come up with a solution to the issue on hand. Of course they had to contact the supplier and make sure the right flowers would be delivered on the morning of the party, and she was not going to accept anything less than a major compensation for their mistake. As for the flowers they had foolishly accepted; they couldn’t return them to the supplier as they were of no use now that they were decreasing in value and condition.
“Are there any message ribbons attached to the lilies?” Eunmi quickly wondered to which she received a negative answer. “Alright, take the lily gifts and donate them to the nearest funeral hall, I’m sure they’ll be of good use there. Tell them that SM Entertainment sends their regards to all the people who have lost a loved one and that, although there isn’t much we can do for the community, we would like to offer this as a token of understanding and condolence as we want to give those who have lost someone to feel loved as part of the community.”
Taewoo stared at her for a moment, he never understood how she came up with ideas and solutions to their issues right on the spot. For some reason she always knew exactly what to do and how to support her argument. “You’re a genius, you know that? But what about the flower arrangements..?”
“Leave that to me, I’ll make a call to the supplier and demand full reimbursement for their mistake, as well as the flowers we had ordered, or threaten their good name with bad reviews.” Eunmi explained as she scrolled down her list of numbers to find the flower supplier.
“Remind me never to get on your bad side!” Taewoo chuckled before giving her a quick and cheeky salute as he headed off to dispose of the white lilies.

Silence was filling the apartment, standing in the middle of it with both of you giving each other cold and angry stares, your eyes were red from tears which you were trying hardly to keep them inside, he was coldly standing infront of you without saying anything, Suddenly he grabbed his coat and was heading to the door, "if you walk out out right now, it's over between us!" You desperately said, you didn't really mean it but, that's what came up to your mind, you were scared to lose him.
It all started when you and your boyfriend Moonbin were going on a lovely date in his day off, on the way back you met a group of 3 girls, you didn't really knew who they were, but the girl who was in the center suddenly approached moonbin and locked her arms around his arms and started filtering with him , it seemed to you that both of them know each other, as she was doing so, she pulled moonbin to her as if she wanted to hug him. You didn't do anything, but your jealousy level was reaching its max , still you acted confident and trusted your bf. Later on when she and the rest of her friends left, you two continued your way back, the walk was a little bit awkward, So moonbin tried to lift up the mood ,"Y/N-ah, Why are you silent","I'm not...who is that girl?" you directly asked without looking at him , " She's someone i know" he said as you both entered your shared apartment, "someone you know? Are you sure its just someone you know ?" You said, trying to not show that you are bothered. " Y/N-ah, what's wrong? Why do you look so angry?". "Why she was sticking and filtering like that with you?"." Are you being suspicious of me?"."I didn't say that!", " I can't believe you just said that Y/N", "Stop it bin! I just want to know why didn't you push her off??!","Aish! that's enough! Stop being jealous over small thnigs like that Y/N!"
And here where everything started now when you screamed with " if you walk out right now it's over between us" he hesitated to head out , you thought he won't go, but he did. As the door was slammed behind him, you fell on the ground sobbing from his words and wondering why your beautiful day ended up like that and from that night Moonbin never came back. 3 days has already passed since that fight with Moonbin, you haven't eaten neither slept properly, you were so tired and your head was heavy from crying all night, you just kept laying on bed thinking in Moonbin who hasn't been even texting you ever since. In ASTRO's dorm everyone was wondering why Moonbin stayed over, they all knew that he's living with you in the shared apartment, so they thought that something might happened, at dinner, where everyone were eating Jinjin stopped and asked Moonbin," Binnie...", " Yes hyung", " is there any thing wrong?" , " No.. why?", So eunwoo looked at binnie who was answering without looking at them. " Binnie..", " hmmm", " binnie I'm talking look at me.." Moonbin lift up his eyes and looked at eunwoo, " did something happened between you and Y/N?", Bin hesitated for a moment "N-nothing happened, i just missed you guys and came over", " Bin-hyung, please stop pretending because its written all over your face" said rocky. Bin bit his lips and looked at they others and finally spoke about what happened that day. "So why didn't you explain that to her?" Asked MJ," That's right if you did so she for sure would understand it and nothing from this would ever happened" claimed jinjin. Moonbin Sighed and murmured about how stupid he is and then said "Now she hates me doesn't she?". " No she doesn't hyung, we all now how much you love each other" said sanha, " Sanha is right, a fight like that will not spreate you" stated eunwoo. " Now what are you waiting for go to her!" Screamed MJ Happily. And Moonbin rushed immediately out of the dorm to your shared apartment, he entered the password and headed inside and found you looking at a picture of both of you hanging on the wall, " Y/N-ah!!" He was almost out of breath since he ran over here, you were shocked, you thought he'd never come back .
" Y/N-ah I'm sorry!! I'm so sorry I shouldn't have said anything of that!! Its my fault for not saying anything and make you feel insecured I'm so sorry" , " was it worth it ? " You said in low tone..looking down, he approached you and gave you a hug " no it wasn't, I'm sorry for raising my voice on you, you can ask me anything and i will answer" he said while stroking your hair. He let you go and place his hands on your shoulders , " Y/N-ah... D-do you hate me?" You look up at him, eyes filled with tears " No i Don't hate you, i never did" he whipped that tear which slided over your cheek, he leaned slowly placing a soft kiss on your lips ,still with your watery eyes you punched him weakly on his chest ,"You're an idiot" he giggled and pulled you back to his chest "yeah but I'm your idiot", he took you to the bed room and asked you " can we cuddle?"as you were Holding his arms tightly you nodded, and you both cuddled all night until you both of you fell asleep in each other's arms.

Park Jinwoo x Reader
Genre: Fluff / some angst / possible smut???? Warnings:Swear words, Kissing, Implied love-making Word Count: 1k
Summary: Jinwoo and the reader had promised each other not to catch feelings when they became fuck buddies but now Jin wants more than the reader is willing to give.
a/n: sorry if this is terrible!! i tried ok? ok. love you all.
Jinwoo collapsed into the mattress next to you, breathless and sweaty. He rested his palm against his chest in an act to steady his pounding heart. God, he swore being with you had him seeing stars. "Fuck," he breathed, turning on his side to see you already on the edge of the bed, sliding on your pants. Disappointment hit him like a brick to the head.
"Wait, you're leaving already?" he asked, scooting closer to run his palm along your back, coming to rest on your waist. He attempted to pull you back into the mattress but you resisted.
A laugh fell from your lips as you almost toppled back, successfully managing to stand away from Jin. "Yeah, I'm going to meet my girlfriends for dinner, remember?"
"Well, maybe you could stay here instead? We could watch a movie?" He seemed unsure of his words, his eyes puppy-like as he chewed his bottom lip. Jinwoo would've been a big fat liar if he claimed that your laugh that came in response didn't feel like a kick to the gut. He was well aware of your stance on the relationship -- fuck buddies -- but maybe he had a small shard of hope that you would change your mind this time.
With a crooked eyebrow, you turned to skeptically scan Jinwoo's face. "Uh, since when do we do movies?"
"We don’t I guess,” he replied, trying his best to hide the gutted feeling. He watched you slip on your shirt, the fabric falling slowly covering the skin he loved so much. He gazed at you as you moved to his mirror to fix your hair, and drag a finger delicately around your lips to remove smudged lipstick. When this had first started, he had no idea just how deeply he would fall for you -- now all your little gestures had him reeling. Your whole relationship was built on a promised lack of romantic feeling and a whole lotta mindblowing sex so he wasn't allowed to feel this way.  But here he was, longing for something more. It was practically heartbreaking. Your views had always been very transparent, he knew he would never get his wish.
"What are you looking at?" You questioned. "Wait, you're not getting soft on me, are you?"
Jinjin blushed in response, sitting up to slip on his own clothes. "What? No, I just thought --" he blurted out a half-finished sentence, avoiding your eyes. But he knew he had just given himself away. Clearing his throat, he pushed a palm through his hair.
"Jin," you sighed, moving to stand in front of him, bending at the waist so your faces were more level. "You promised, remember?"
"I know, I know," he mumbled, shame coating his features. It was hard to look directly at you when he thought you were that beautiful. All he wanted was to pull you in for another kiss, collapse back into the mattress and hold you until sleep overtook. He stared at the floor despite you trying to maneuver into his gaze.
Guilt thundered over your chest. You couldn't commit to him, or anyone for that matter and now here he was, hurt. That's why you had made him promise not to catch feelings, made him ensure you that it was purely sexual because hell, you both had needs. But you just couldn't commit. He could thank your ex for that. Love was scary but you were in control when hooking up, it was your choice and you could walk away without getting hurt and lord be damned if you were getting hurt again. You stood at his feet, watching him stare at the laminate flooring, a seemingly endless parade of thoughts marching through his mind. "Fine," you uttered and his head snapped up at you at such a pace, you were afraid he was gonna break it clean off his neck.
"What?" he questioned with a stutter, completely caught off guard but entirely hopeful.
"One movie, that's it. Not tonight but one night I will stay. For One. Movie." You emphasized the idea of it only being one, eyebrows raised at him as you tapped your single digit against his chest.
His smile reached his eyes, it was boyish and cute how giddy the prospect made him. Jinwoo rested his hands against your hips, looking up at you grinning down at him. "One movie, got it," he reiterated.
"Okay, I gotta go, they're gonna be so pissed. I'm always late because of you," you teased, sliding out of his hold again. Jinjin didn't care this time though because he was too busy being amazed that he had broken through even if just a little. You turned back to see his lips still curved in a grin that made him seem drunk and a part of you worried that he had gotten the wrong idea. "But this doesn't mean anything, it's just a movie."
He rolled his eyes, still unable to frown because god, he was just so pleased.  "I got it, just a movie."
"Good," you smirked and then did something you had never done before. You doubled back to where he was sitting and pecked him on the lips. Jinwoo's eyebrows furrowed as he tried to register what just happened. Did you kiss him goodbye? "See ya later."
He watched as you slipped from his room, listened as you greeted Sanha who was undoubtedly playing a game on his phone and then heard the front door open and shut. He sat there dumbfounded that not only had he gotten you to agree to a movie night -- rather effortlessly too -- but he also had received a goodbye kiss? The feeling lingered on his lips and he felt dizzy and childish at this turn of events. With a sigh, he emerged from his room to  get a much needed glass of water. But he would be thinking about this well into the night.
The restaurant was loud and drinks were being ordered and despite the laughter that flooded from your table, all you could think about was what you had just agreed to. Jinwoo's goofy smile almost made you regret agreeing to stay one night after sex, you knew this gave him the wrong idea. And what the hell possessed you to double back and kiss him goodbye?
Your mind came back to the restaurant as you heard your name and caught the tail end of one of your friends telling a hilariously embarrassing story about you. In good spirit you laughed but no one seemed to catch on to your preoccupied state. The server brought another round of appetizers and you picked at a few but you just couldn't bring yourself to eat. Drink though? Hah, whole other story. You downed another glass, feeling the buzz take you over and then gestured to your server for a refill to which he nodded happily and disappeared into the restaurant.
"(Y/N)?" a voice flooded your ear. Catching your attention to which you responded with a small hum and inquisitive eyes. "You okay?" your best friend asked. She was scanning your face curiously, knowing something was off.
"Oh yeah totally fine, sorry," you offered a bright smile, now fully aware that the rest of the group was staring at you too and maybe you were dampening their celebrations. The server came back with your drink at that moment and you felt somewhat relieved to have an escape. You chugged half of it in one go and the table, moving on from you, erupted back into loud chatter of old college stories, new work related tales, and endless boy problems. Regret still sat in your stomach, bubbling up into your throat.
