It is also possible to fall in love afresh, each and every morning... because the beloved who awakens each day is, in a sense, a new creature, who has explored other realms and vistas while sleeping... and an ever-evolving/growing creature, who therefore always offers more to explore and discover. There are innumerable heights and depths to navigate together over time, thus sharing both the history and the mystery of one another. I love the analogy of the sun as consciousness. Consciousness is the sun, and we are all rays of the sun. Some rays might shine a little brighter, but it doesn’t matter! It’s not a competition because we are part of the same sun.

And maybe some rays awaken and realize, holy crap guys, we are sun, and some rays might be like, I don’t believe in the sun. Doesn’t matter. The sun has infinite patience. But someday when we all realize we are part of the sun, we might realize how powerful we really are.

As I always like to say, our focus determines our direction whether it is conscious or unconscious💫 🕸 Lately my focus has been centered on allowing myself to feel even if it’s deeply uncomfortable, and because of that certain situations have occurred that has challenged the hell outta me😩 🕸 With some Shadow Work I uncovered that I’m mad sensitive and can take things personally. It honestly comes from me feeling like a burden or not feeling “good enough” as a child, and it’s something I have to closely monitor to remind myself that those things aren’t true.
