Whenever Verlaine appears in the manga what do you think he and Chuuya’s dynamic will be(and if you want could you talk more about how Chuuya’s abusers take on the role of his family like in that previous post)?

This is probably controversial but i don't understand why it would be but i genuinely dislike the idea of Chuuya and Verlaine getting along. Ideally it would be avoid/ignore Verlaine as much as possible but y'know, what I want for my bro isn't really what he'd do.

But onto your second part, there are just SO many comparisons between Chuuya and his enemies with like. abusive family dynamics. N claims he's his father, Verlaine insisting he's his older brother, accepting that the Port Mafia is his family. idk Chuuya's deal is that he simply chooses to move on quickly and not acknowledge how messed up his circumstances are and the suffering that others put him through if it means that the wound can never open again even if it heals the wrong way.

You know what I think about a lot? How Arya got used to drinking water from the stream that was tainted with bloated bodies up the river. Like this happened to her multiple times. Traveling with the Black to the wall in the middle of a bloody, gory war where no one’s life meant more than the men controlling these armies. She saw more death than most soldiers. She drank black water. She drank grey water. She dined on rats and bugs and even dirt. she wasted no time, and didn’t think twice, to do what she had to do to survive. She immediately adapted into ferality for survival. Zero hesitation. She was nine. she was nine.

Thank youuu ❤️ it's a bit tricky because I get clothes from a bunch of different places!!! And usually only get something new if there's something specific I have in mind.

Thrifting has been very kind to me but I've been thrifting out my wardrobe for years. (if you're a goth do not miss out the lingerie section. I know it sounds kind of gross but tonnes of gothic stuff gets categorised as kink gear or they think it's lingerie BC it's lacey- i always find corsets and things like that in lingerie sections). And it's always good to keep in mind that dressing well normally doesn't rely on statement pieces- you want to have basics for your outfits to build a "base". Almost all my outfits use a dress-shirt and a pleated skirt of some kind. If you're open to thrifting you should keep an eye out for good basics, they can rlly elevate a look.

And look out for things that can be easily modified (cutting the arms off of sweaters can make pretty good legwarmers - and you don't even need any sewing experience for it.)

Other than that ive gotten a few statement pieces from Atomic Cherry and Disturbia [Gothabilly and Nu Goth respectively]. I normally get accessories from Etsy sellers who make all their own stuff if I can [which means I can't get new items very often but it's ok]- most of the necklaces I wear I made myself w beads and string. If there are particular items from a brand that you want and they're not affordable sometimes you will find someone who is selling it away on eBay or Depop 🤷‍♀️ I don't mind minimal damage as long as it's cute.

The only thing i really sink money into is shoes- I have one pair of Docs, Demonias, and YRU platforms respectively.
