Rising from the Ashes by Insert_Witty_User_Name_Here (119k)

written after s1, this is basically a whole novel of what s2 could've been like. And it's phenomenal. There's 27 chapters, but i was reading it as each one was released over the course of 4 months, and it was a whole rollercoaster. You'll find yourself siding with some characters at some times and then the others the other times. You read it and even you are unsure of which side you're on. If you have the time, definitely read this.

Fit the Profile by WaterHorseyBlues (77k)

A detective AU. Someone is trying to assassinate Loki for his inheritance, and Mobius is the private detective on the case. I won't say much, but this is a must read, and probably one of the classic fics in this fandom

Another Prince by drunkbedelia (14k)

canon divergence from s1e3. I don't know how to explain this one except it straight up vibes. Loki and Sylvie are chaotic siblings. Sylvie is scheming around (and def ships loki and mobius). This is one of those fics that would also be considered a classic here.

As You Find the String by athousandteeth (12k)

a s2 fix it (but don't think there isn't suffering before it pays off). The characters are incredibly written and one line in this literally changed how i view life itself

AU where Loki and Mobius are rivals at an office, but circumstances force them to quarantine in an apartment together for 2 weeks. (And to make matters worse, Loki keeps falling asleep in Mobius' bed). Very fun, and this is one I love to come back to time to time.

OB writes an 800 page sci-fi romance novel about Loki and Mobius (but changes the name) and insists that all his friends form a book club for it. The titular two get heavily invested (yet still are oblivious it's based on them).

Pen-demonium by dinosuns (6k)

Loki steals a pen, creating 6k words of pure banter. When I think of classic lokius fics, i think anything by dinosuns. This is one of their more banter-focused ones, but they also write amazing 10k long fics that read like prose. This isn't just a dinosuns fic rec as it is a rec for the author themselves

have you seen thomas perry? have you heard him speak? neil did not have a childhood pet. i think he really wanted a dog as a kid, but after a while of his father refusing, he would resort to asking for a fish or a hamster. his father's answer did not change absolutely adores the welton dog and always tries to sneak him treats and headpats and hugs and kisses and- he's just full of love yk he also seems like a fan of rodents? like guinea pig, hamsters and such,, he absolutely gets a dog after welton [more in todd's section]

the andersons bought jeffrey a cat for his fourteenth birthday it's a korat, his name is benjamin and he's a huge jerk -to everyone but todd. so it's more of todd's cat than anyone else's. todd loves cats overall, he enjoys how they just are, and finds their presence calming. once he moves out he takes benjamin with him and literally no one tries to fight him on this. also i think later in life he and neil would get a therapy dog to help todd deal with his anxiety, and neil with his trauma/depression. every once in a while one of the poets might feel down too, and todd's more than happy to let them 'borrow' the dog i feel like he would find arachnids fun, but his parents find them gross, and neil's is afrad of them, so he wouldn't ever have one

knox overstreet

idk why, but overstreets just feel like a crusty white dog named coco family. also his younger sisters have a rabbit! also i think him and charlie both used to do horseback riding as kids, as some sort of summer extracurricular?? anyways, yes, his family bought him a horse,, which is a totally standard thing to buy your child. he's not all that into horseback riding anymore and would let his siblings have the horse knox definitely loves dogs, and would have a golden retriver methinks just has that vibe

charlie dalton

his family have a bengal cat which he loves. he manhandles the shit out of that bastard and the cat doesn't really mind. the cat's name is orion, but really? it's Bastard. also his family owns horses and there's at least one that charlie dumbass-proofed (basically got it used to tolerating him as he does increasingly dangerous things around it) (idk if that's actually possible, i don't know anything about horses other than they look kinda cool) (idk why but the visual of charlie riding a horse like a skateboard cannot escape my mind i simply had to share). definitely a dog person, though he doesn't strike me as a guy that would actually have a dog? at least just on his own, he could have one with someone (a bf maybe? a bf named steven meeks even?,) he loves dogs, but having a whole creature depending solely on him is not a good idea.

my lifelong hc for cameron's family is that he has some grandparents and cousins living on a farm, that he spends half of every summer with, doing typical farm things,, like caring for farm animals,, like cows,, and with that comes 'cow person' cameron headcanon he has his favourite in the herd for sure that he's just best friends with :) she has huge eyes and she listens to him rant, she's the best obviously one cannot simply own a cow as a pet, and since they're his favs he would probably opt out to not have any pets. scratch that i just thought about him having a chicken as a pet and am endlessly amused by it. he has a pet chicken

Les Amis and how they'd decorate for Christmas

It's like, super late and I have tons of shit to do tomorrow morning but here we go

Enjolras & Grantaire

Enjolras is big on the whole "Christmas is just a capitalist propaganda" thing and Grantaire wouldn't really care that much, so I feel like there wouldn't be many decorations in their apartment. However I think Grantaire would still want to be a lil festive so he probably gets one of these tiny ass trees and some lights. And one of those elf pushes because "Look it's blonde, it looks just like you enj!"

Combeferre & Courfeyrac

Courfeyrac absolutely LOVES tacky Christmas decorations and he fills the apartment with glittery shit every year. Their Christmas tree is huge and has literally everything imaginable on it. They probably invited les amis to decorate it with them, so it's messy. Combeferre just goes with the vibes and rocks that Christmas sweater Bahorel knitted him all winter long. (I'm,also 1000% sure they even have one of these Christmas toilet seat covers or whatever they're called)

Feuilly & Bahorel

Feuilly just has a box full of handmade decorations so their tree has some a-list ornaments on it. Apart from that, the rest of their place isn't really decorated. Maybe some lights on the windows. Anyway, Bahorel probably printed Feuilly's face and put it on top of the tree because "he's a star✨" and Feuilly just went with it

Bossuet, Jolly & Musichetta

Either did one of those creative alternatives to a Christmas tree or have the most chaotic decorative situation going on. I'm talking randomly placed fairy lights, weird ass tree ornaments, and one (1) Christmas themed candle that Bossuet made in high school and is still around for some reason

Jehan

No one does Christmas decorations better than them. Pretty lights on the windows, candles, cookies always on the counter, red and green couch cushions etc. I have a feeling they decorate their plants instead of a tree because they'd rather DIE than have any sort of fake plant in their space.

Marius & Cosette

Marius unironically bought one of those god awful white trees, thinking Cosette will like it. She absolutely did not, but she worked with it and made it look decent. She even made a gingerbread house, which pissed her tf off.

Marius decorated the balcony and it ended up being a bunch of random lights placed awkwardly on top of each other, no plan at all.

Eponine, Gavroche and Azelma

A fairly small tree, nothing more nothing less. Eponine let her siblings decorate it and it shows, but she loves it because "it has personality". Azelma decorates her room with garlands and stuff.

Bonus: Montparnasse

Straight up doesn't decorate. Bitch barely has his own apartment

But the newly named Ninja Club AU is just a 03 separated au i've been tossing around my head for a few weeks now. It's so stupid and has taken over a lot of my brain processing, especially the last few days lol.

Basically, at about age 2-3, the boys got separated from both eachother and Splinter, and ended up getting raised in VERY different places.

Donny grows up as an average (if mutant turtle) new york child with school and everything.

Mikey grows up in the foot, being Karai's annoying little sibling.

Leo gets raised by the Daimyo.

and Raph, most strangely, ends up in fking space with the triceritons.

And the whole thing gives off YA fantasy novel/weird high school vibes so bad b/c of Donny just being some high schooler.

but yeah! I love it, ive only really got the 2 posts for it rn (mikey will be posted shortly. After i type the info dump lol) but they should both be tagged with "Ninja Club au".

(btw, i called it Ninja Club as a stupid reference to things like Orion Host Club and the Breakfast Club, specifically for the stupid high school chaotic vibes lol. Also so Donny has an excuse to say stuff like "I can't hang out tonight. I have Ninja Club." instead of telling people he's going to go beat up some evil ninjas with his brothers that night lol.)

Ok so I've mentioned this a bunch of times on my blog by now but I've been trying to speedrun all of the Choices books and I'm so glad I am because there are some underrated gems out there! I'm almost done with TC&TF Book 1 and that book had a ton of love interests so I was inspired to make a top ten list to organize my thoughts. This post will be under development as I play more books or change my mind lol

Top Ten Books/Series

Bloodbound Series - This book is literally one of the best series PB has ever put out. To be fair, it should be under Blades and TC&TF, I would argue that these three books deserve top place. But it would be harder to combine my Bloodbound explanation with the other two fantasy books so here you go. Contrary to most, I did like the first book, wasn't my favorite, but it was a good intro to the series. I like that the world slowly grew as we learned more about vampires and it felt complete and like it had something to say. Thank @gaiuskamilah for my further obsession with the series lol

Blades of Light and Shadow Book 1/The Crown and the Flame Book 1 - I couldn't choose but they're both AMAZING BOOKS ugh I can't say enough good things about them. The choices actually matter and the plot was so good. Every chapter had a purpose and the conclusion felt so satisfying. The scoring system and skills for both books was super cool, we need more books like them <33

Crimes of Passion Series - Definitely a Top Tier MC!!! I liked the mystery (Book 2's reveal wasn't great but the chaotic Thorne siblings make up for it) and Trystan is the best single LI we've had in a while, their dynamic with Rose was *chef's kiss*

Perfect Match Series - I LOVED this series and our friend group/love interests so much. They all felt like unique people with their own experiences and the plot was so amazingly intense. The finale of Book 1 was UNMATCHED we won't ever live to experience something that iconic ever again smh. It took a while for the plot to kick in, which is why it's lower on the list

The Elementalists - I'm a sucker for elemental magic systems/magic schools, and I love our friend group/family so much. Atlas is the coolest twin, and the whole sun/moon dynamic was fun! Being a powerful Sun-Att boosted my ego astronomically. I wish we got another book to see our mom more though

It Lives in the Woods - I like that the premise was relatively simple, along with the game mechanics. Your actions had real consequences and it was more immersive. The flash-forward in the last chapter was super sweet too and I like that the anthology was interconnected. This series also gave us an amazing friend group and set of LIs so I'm thankful <3

Open Heart Book 1 - Simply iconic, grounded in reality, and actually put together imao. It was one of the peaks of our fandom. This book is super nostalgic for me because I'm interested in the medical field, and it's the whole reason I'm posting Choices content here in the first place

Ride or Die - I adore this book. It felt complete on its own EVEN IF IT DESERVED A SEQUEL *side-eyeing PB* and it's a great coming-of-age story with a realistic teen MC. The ending was bittersweet and you felt changed by the experience playing the book

Nightbound - I liked the vibes and the idea more than the execution if that makes sense? I love the idea of Lamrian and how the MC is half-fae and super powerful, but the book didn't have enough time to showcase the supernatural world compared to Bloodbound, which focused on vampire lore. I can probably make a whole separate post on this but yea

The Royal Romance/The Royal Heir - I think, again, I like the vibes of the series more than the flawed execution, but because it went on for so long I kinda of got attached to the characters (mind you I didn't play or finish any of the books) but it's super fluffy and sweet and iconic for Choices history so here <3 a lot of the books like ROE, TRM, and TC&TF are interconnected so it's part of the foundation for the PB Choices Multiverse :) to be fair, it looks like they did a somewhat decent job writing the conflicts for each book?

I have a feeling when I finish Endless Summer, this list is gonna change...

EDIT: I totally forgot about The Heist: Monaco, but it was amazing! TRR/TH should be bumped down to honorable mention, I'll change it at some point-

Honorable Mentions

A Courtesan of Rome - The book took awhile for me to get through but my MC is legendary and carried the book so it's up here lol. I also liked that it felt like a historically accurate book?

Platinum - Cool commentary on the darker sides of fame and the music >>>

Veil of Secrets - The plot was interesting, one of my fave mystery books they've written! Also the characters >>>

Mother of the Year - Wholesome and felt finished, def one of the best single books. Also the antagonists were properly despicable so...good writing

Wake the Dead - It wasn't perfect, but I love zombie apocalypse stories and the idea of rebuilding our camp was so cool so idc how flawed it is <3

Foreign Affairs - The ending was rushed and the premise should have been rewritten but more on that on a later date. It was still fun for me to play

Desire and Decorum - I finished book 1 and I really liked it! it's basically the Choices version of Bridgerton, not historically accurate but super entertaining. The vibes and the LIs were amazing

Kindred - Pacing issues but still entertaining, I love the witch lore that they had in the book and the focus on building both platonic and romantic relationships so I'm not complaining

Heartbreak High

The new one, not the old one.

This show has always managed to confuse me and I don't know if it's an Australian thing or a writer's thing. I'm pretty sure it's the former coz it happens every time I watch anything Australian.

But this season was even more confusing than the first. Like in the first season, it was chaotic to me how everyone ended up fucking almost everyone, I could not guess who was going to get together at fucking all. All it took is for these fuckers to make 4-second eye-contact and BAM sex, get a grip. Ig teenagers are actually like that and I'm just a loser. Anywho, this season, the only thing that confused me was Rowan's whole character arc.

Let me break this down:

This motherfucker went into the forest, while Ant was busy threatening to cut his dick off, killed a bird, and put it on her bag? Sorry but how fast does this man act? What a machine.

Then he dated her ex-boyfriend? For what reason? Was it strategic? I still haven't figured that one out yet. Like sure it'll make Amerie jealous but he seemed genuinely into him so I don't think that's it. Actually, thinking about it now, Malakai is hot and Rowan was all "forget Amerie" or whatever so that bit does make sense tbh. I cried when they broke up go away, imagine the person you're dating calls u by their ex's name? ugh sad

Then after breaking up with Malakai and getting his heart savagely broken, he just starts dating Amerie? At first, I assumed that was because he planned to hurt her emotions, but he literally spoke about her to 'Jett' like he was into her, so that confused me. I thought he hated her?

Like bro seemed to not have a plan. I know he's not mentally stable and all that but like what was going on in his mind? He's trying to ruin her life, but also likes her, but also thinks she murdered his brother.

And why did he tell Malakai to fuck off when he started dating Amerie? Like was that genuine possessiveness or was that part of the plan? (My little brain was like "awe he wants to protect Malakai from whatever he has planned at that dance so he's telling him to go away, cutee he still likes him" but I'm delulu so ignore that)

AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF

His delusions just vanished with Amerie saying: "he died because he loved you" and a clip of Jett not being a part of Rowan's hallucination anymore... like excuse me, I need a clip of this man going to a therapist and actually acknowledging his schizophrenia, not whatever this form of fucking 'closure' is.

It was so half-arsed, it made me mad.

Man, I genuinely liked the guy, but it seemed like they created his plot 4 episodes into the season. Nothing linked.

Still was very obsessed with the show tho. The sarcasm and the sibling vibes were very entertaining. STILL THE PLOT MAKES VERY LITTLE SENSE. But, again I'm very bad at paying attention so I might've got it all wrong.

Side note: the principal's dog (Joan of Arc) with her little fuchsia-coloured vest were the highlight of this show for me, isn't that kinda sad? There is a scene where the principal is talking to Cash, and Joan is facing the opposite direction and I laughed at that for like 30 minutes, tragic.

Life With Luca thoughts/reactions

WOW, I really enjoyed that way more than I expected to!

OK, so timeline wise the math isn't really mathing for me lmao. Like how do they both have 14 yr olds and Simon being in college already?? The show only ended in 2009/2010 which was 13/14 years ago?? What year is it in this universe??? They both had children the year they went off to college lmao??

But I'm happy to ignore logic since I actually enjoyed the newbies a lot.

I liked that Luca/Skylar weren't just a repeat Casey/Derek dynamic and weren't rivals who full on hated each other but just grew up differently and had some jealousy/hostility toward the other because of that, but actually were a lot sweeter together during more serious moments. I think their personalities perfectly reflected how they were raised - Luca is a bit of a rebel, but he's very much Casey's son, he's trained in First Aid! and has a granola bar in his pocket at all times, albeit stale AF, and takes care of his siblings even if he can be lazy about it sometimes. Skylar is more mature minded but she has the freedom of Derek's parenting so she's not nearly as high strung as Casey is, but she is more organized and put together to make up for Derek's lackadaisical way of living.

I LOVED SIMON!!! He was easily my favorite new character. I can't believe I went from forgetting he even existing to absolutely adoring him. He was so lovable and silly and he must have such a wild childhood being the Venturi-McDonald baby, I would love more backstory on him!

Molly/Kai were adorable and the perfect little chaotic kiddos to round out the ensemble :3

George/Nora - although I wasn't as invested in them, their relationship is so adorable and they're just as dorky and sweet as they were in the series.

The random jewelry heist B-plot was so random, but kinda funny. I'm down for some chaotic hijinx, and I love how it ended with that theif falling through the ceiling XD

The return of Lassiter and Sam were great. It would've been great to see any of the show regulars honestly but I'm glad we got some. I think the return of D-Rock really got me. When they started singing the song I had tears in my eyes. And Ralph as a surgeon was such a great way to explain his absense lmao.

I missed Edwin/Lizzie/Marti. I think that was my only real let down with the movie. They didn't need to be in the whole thing but even a video call would have been nice :/

Career-wise I'm glad they went with Derek as a rock star and Casey as a lawyer. Even though Derek was the hockey guy, seeing him roam around as a rock star with his daughter really just fits his vibe. And I'm so glad the movie course corrected VWD Casey because I was never a fan of her dropping out of college to dance in NY like ?? sure Casey loves to dance but she loves to use her big brain even more!!! Plus fighting for justice?? THAT'S SO CASEY DASEY!!! So it was taboo then, I feel like it's even more taboo now, but had you lived it you would get it! These two always had way too much tension and never quite fell into a sibling-like relationship. They were insanely obsessed with each other making everyone around them uncomfortable, so they were destined to be messed up soulmates <3 It may be an ick for some and that's valid, but for me they'll always be "the exception the the rule" ;) Also Ashley and Mike were always pushing the limit on them, they knew what they were doing! Ok, so now that that's out of the way, I knew that we weren't going to get canon Dasey out of this, but I'm so glad the writers delivered on giving us some great Dasey content regardless. The fact that both Skylar's mom and Casey's hockey husband were both entirely absent and no love interest was given was wise. We basically got to see Derek and Casey play house and be the married vibes that they are which is honestly what us hardcore LWD/Dasey fans want anyway. Mike & Ash didn't miss a beat! That was really Casey and Derek back on my screen and it made me really emotional <3 Maybe the movie didn't have a whole lot of just them, since their children were the focal point but the way it ended, it just made me want more and feel like we were being set up for ...possible canon Dasey? But even if not canon, I think that if the show does get picked up, we can get so much fun Dasey content from it to build from anyway (canon is overrated sometimes lbr) Plus I genuinely enjoy seeing Derek and Casey in parental roles so that would be awesome. And SIMON MORE SIMON PLEASE!!!! <3

Happy Birthday: Natasha Romanoff-

“It’s only going to be a few days and you’ll be back in my arms again in no time, my love.” Natasha works through each of your worries as you desperately grip onto her, not wanting to board the Quinjet and leave for your solo mission.

“I don’t want to leave, can’t we just send someone else? I want to stay here with you.” You grumble into the crook of Natasha’s neck. This is your first solo mission and to say you were nervous would be a mild understatement.

Natasha releases a sympathetic sigh, wanting nothing more than to board the Quinjet with you and stay by your side. She gently pulls you away from her, scanning your disheartened features.

“Y/n, you can do this. I know you can, you’re the strongest person I know and I’m so lucky to have you. I know you’re afraid but I promise you, you will make it through this mission safe and well okay.”

You absorb Natasha’s words, before bowing your head to release a mumbled ‘okay’.

Natasha uses her hand to guide your gaze back to her, “Anyway, once you get back we can celebrate your birthday.”

You give Natasha a small smile, you have never really been one to celebrate your birthdays. Growing up in an Orphanage didn’t exactly equal prime quality Birthday celebrations. You were lucky enough to receive one ‘Happy Birthday’ from those around you, nothing more.

You’re snapped out of your thoughts when Natasha uses both of her hands to grab at your face, “I love you, now go and kick some ass for me, alright.”

You laugh at her words, feeling much calmer from Natasha’s support pushing you forwards, “I love you too, and I will. Thank you Nat.”

Natasha plants a quick kiss on your lips, “No need to thank me, it’s my job to support you. Now go, the sooner you leave, the sooner you can come back.”

You give her a firm nod before bringing her into your embrace for a hug, which is unfortunately interrupted by none other than Tony Stark.

“Are you really still here? Move your ass, y/l/n. I need you gone so I can raid your snack drawer.” Tony says as he makes his way towards you and Natasha.

You gasp at his words, “Hey, that drawer better be full when I get back Stark.”

“You’ll never know if you don’t go, come on let’s see some hustle.” Tony says as he playfully pushes you towards the opening of the jet.

You attempt to turn and address Natasha once more, but with one last shove, you’re inside the Quinjet; enough to settle in at least.

“We’ll see you when you get back, stay safe and keep in touch.” Tony says as he gives you a quick side hug, before turning to leave the jet.

“Will do, look after Nat for me okay.” You reply.

“You have my word y/n.”

As he steps off the ramp, Tony activates the automatic locking system for the aircraft, allowing it to initiate the closing mechanism.

Just as Tony makes his way back to Natasha she sends him a malevolent glare, causing him to shrug his shoulders in a questioning manner, “You do realise she was extremely anxious to go. Why would you do that?”

“Simple, if I didn’t she’d still be standing here clinging onto you. Plus we need her gone so we can start the preparations.” Tony shoves his hands into his pockets and begins his journey inside once he hears the Quinjet making its way off the landing platform.

Natasha furrows her eyebrows at Tony’s cryptic words, “Preparations? Tony-“

Tony interrupts Natasha’s sentence by shouting, “I can’t hear you by the way, but please feel free to carry on talking.”

Natasha shakes her head at Tony’s antics before glancing out towards the sky, hoping you’ll return back again soon.

“What do you think you are doing?” Tony asks Natasha as he walks into the living area of the compound.

“Hopefully I’m not about to engage in a conversation with you, but we’ll see how that goes.” Natasha says as she mindlessly flicks through the channels on the TV.

It’s been two hours since you left for your mission, causing Natasha to become bored out of her mind. She has no missions pending to prepare for, and the only person she really hangs out with through the day is you, so channel surfing seems to be her best bet for entertainment.

Tony makes his way over to the TV and switches it off, causing Natasha to release a groan in frustration.

“You do realise it’s y/n’s birthday in three days.” Tony says as he crosses his arms over his chest.

Natasha pushes herself up from the couch, admitting defeat due to Tony’s behaviour, “Yes, I am aware of when my own girlfriend’s birthday is. Why do you ask Stark?”

Tony scoffs at Natasha’s question, “Why do I ask? Are you serious Romanoff?! This is quite possibly one of the most important days of the year, excluding my own birthday of course. Which means, preparations need to be made for a party.”

Natasha stares at Tony in bewilderment, she knows he cares for you but this is actually surprising.

She also knows that the team absolutely adores you, but to see Tony this passionate about planning a get together to celebrate your big day, this eager is completely unexpected from his part. Usually it’s only a day of planning and a week of cleaning anytime he organises a party, so this effort is greatly appreciated.

“Tony, as much as I appreciate your enthusiasm, we don’t even know if y/n will be back in time for a party in three days. Besides, you know she doesn’t like outrageous parties. In other words, your kind of parties.” Natasha puts forward to Tony.

Tony waves his hand in dismissal, “Her mission won’t last her two days, tops. Also, I plan amazing parties I’ll have you know. They’re always remembered-“

“For the wrong reasons.” Natasha remarks with a smirk.

Tony’s mouth drops open in shock, “Oh, so it’s my fault that Thor sent out all the last party invites to our Hydra contacts?”

Natasha releases a sigh as she makes her way over to Tony, placing her hands firmly on his shoulders to gain his full attention, “Tony, we will plan y/n a party; it will be a small yet successful party, like she wants; she will love it and therefore we will all be happy. Take a breather and everything will turn out okay.”

Tony raises his hands to pinch at Natasha’s hoodie sleeves, ultimately lifting and removing her grip from his shoulders, “Right, well you keep telling yourself that Widow, whilst I go make some calls in regards to the party. I’ll be in my lab for the remainder of the day, if you need me.”

Natasha watches as Tony makes his way out of the room, “Calls? What exactly for Tony?”

Just as he’s about to leave the room, Tony turns to address Natasha, “You’ll find out at the party planning meeting tomorrow morning, 10 am sharp. Don’t be late Romanoff, or you’ll be uninvited from the party.”

Before Natasha can make a sarcastic remark back to Tony, she feels her phone vibrate in her pocket.

She instantly takes it out and taps the screen to reveal the source of the communication.

Her face lights up when she realises you have messaged her from a ‘burner phone’, letting her know you arrived at your mission location safely.

With the relief spreading through her system at the confirmation of your safety, Natasha takes it upon herself to start a little party planning research of her own. Knowing that if she’s going to be working with Tony on this one, she needs to be as prepared as humanly possible.

After all, who knows what the mind of Tony Stark will conjure up for this party.

Natasha sprints through the compound to Tony’s lab- as fast as she possibly can.

She curses under her breath with each step, knowing she is going to be late for the meeting Tony specifically asked her not to be late to- it’s not her fault that training over ran by half an hour.

Just as she reaches the glass doors leading into the lab she notices Tony leaning back in his desk chair; with his feet planted up on his desk for comfort whilst taking a phone call.

Natasha rolls her eyes at his antics before giving the door a firm shove, only to find it won’t open.

She gives the door another hit with her whole body weight, and still the door remains closed.

The continued efforts catch Tony’s attention, causing his gaze to wander over to the red head. She points towards the locked doors, displaying an unamused expression.

Tony simply responds by pointing to the side of the door, causing Natasha to avert her gaze to the direction he was pointing to.

She notices that a note is taped to the neighbouring glass pane, stating a phrase that Natasha must repeat if she wishes to gain entry into the lab.

Natasha shakes her head, “I’m not saying that Stark, so you may as well open the door!” She shouts to compensate for the barrier separating the two of them.

Tony removes the phone from his ear to respond, “Say it, otherwise you’re officially banned from the planning process of y/n’s party, and I know you’d hate to let me take full charge so the ball is in your court, Romanoff.”

He quickly returns his attention back to his phone call, signalling to Natasha that she must follow his instructions in order to gain his attention furthermore.

Natasha releases a deep sigh, mostly calming herself down before she hurts the billionaire. She glares at the note and repeats the line needed to unlock the door, “Tony Stark is the best Avenger, and we all know it.”

Tony’s A.I. responds to Natasha’s words, ‘Access granted, Good Morning, Miss Romanoff.’

Once the doors open, Natasha doesn’t even hesitate to make her way into the lab. Removing the opportunity for Tony to lock her out again.

She marches towards him in frustration, until Tony puts his hand up to halt her actions. His gesture nearly sends Natasha’s annoyance levels through the roof.

“Yeah, just the small ones. No, Happy, trust me on this one the smaller ones will look better with the centrepiece.”

Tony swivels in his chair slightly, getting lost in conversation. His movements are interrupted once Natasha slams her hand onto his chair, and turns it towards herself to send him an unnerving glare.

“Happy, I’m going to have to call you back. Scary Widow looks like she’s about to murder me.” Tony hangs up his phone call to Happy Hogan, shrugging his shoulders towards Natasha to signal for her to explain her angered motions.

“Are you being serious Tony? You could have just let me in, instead of making me stand out there-“

“Romanoff, you wouldn’t have had to wait out there if you weren’t late. Those who do wrong, get punished.” Tony says to Natasha, clearly ignoring her hardened expression.

“Trust me Stark, I could do a lot worse. Especially if you want a visit to Dr Cho, I hear she loves to fix a broken bone of two.” Natasha says with a fake smile, hiding her irritation.

Tony visibly gulps, he loves to wind up Natasha, but sometimes he forgets how ruthless she can be. Which is why he opts to move the conversation forwards.

“Well, since you are here now. I have a few ideas to go over for the party. Including things that we need; people we want to attend, you get the picture.” Tony quickly clears a space at his desk for Natasha to take her place.

Natasha takes a seat on the spare chair, scanning over the various lists and drawings associated with his ‘ideal party layout’.

There isn’t even an inch that isn’t covered in Tony’s ideas, causing Natasha to panic at what mayhem she is about to be exposed to.

Natasha doesn’t know how much time has passed, but she’s convinced that she’s been in Tony’s lab for a decade.

“Okay, so the guy bringing the animals said he can be here as early as tomorrow to set up-“

Natasha’s eyes widened at Tony’s words, “Wait, animals? What for?”

“The petting zoo of course, come on Romanoff keep up.” Tony says with a roll of his eyes.

Natasha opens and closes her mouth in confusion, “For the party? Why would we have a petting zoo at y/n’s party?”

Tony picks up a pile of his notes to scan over, “Why wouldn’t she want a petting zoo?” It was a real hit at Morgan’s party last year.”

Natasha puts her hands over her face and groans into them, “You just answered it yourself, Morgan is five years old; y/n is not.”

Tony furiously scribbles out the option of having a petting zoo at your party, “Well, if she asks where all the cute animals are, you can break her heart I guess.”

Natasha pulls her hands down her face in relief, thankful that one potential disaster has been avoided.

“Right, so you’ve ordered the cake; I can go pick up some streamers and some ‘Happy Birthday’ banners to place around the compound.” Natasha rhymes off her own list; happy with the progress that is being made from the planning.

“What food should we have?” Tony asks as he attempts to throw his screwed up and rejected (by Natasha) notes into the bin located at the opposite side of his lab.

“Um, we need something everyone is going to enjoy, but mostly what y/n will enjoy-“

“Cheeseburgers.” Tony interrupts Natasha.

“That’s just what you want, not everyone likes cheeseburgers Tony.” Natasha puts across to Tony.

“That’s where you’re wrong Romanoff, I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t appreciate a good cheeseburger.”

Natasha shakes her head, “Tony, I’m pretty sure people who do not eat meat, don’t appreciate them.” Tony glares over at Natasha, “You know, I don’t like you much Romanoff.”

Natasha smirks as she writes cheeseburgers down as a potential option for the party food- It’s either that or having Tony mope all day, “Oh, I know Stark, but we definitely need a vegetarian alternative and some other bits to have for the guests to pick on through the night.”

Tony sits and ponders for a few seconds, before smiling, “We could have shawarma too.”

Natasha instantly writes it down, knowing it’s a team favourite, “Nice work Tony, it's easy enough to adapt for everyone.”

“Did you just compliment me Romanoff?” Tony attempts to tease Natasha, to which she instantly dismisses him.

“Oh, I wanna take it back.”

“No, no, no. You can't retract it.” Tony instantly replies, basking in the feeling of receiving a rare dose of praise from the Black Widow herself.

After spending the entire day planning your party, the duo sets aside some time to enjoy a well deserved break- Natasha mostly for putting up with Tony’s extravagant ideas.

“I can’t believe we’re actually going to pull this off. I thought we weren’t going to meet the Friday deadline for sure.” Tony says as he digs into his takeout container, gathering a fork full of food.

Natasha raises her eyebrow in confusion, “Why Friday? Y/n’s birthday is Saturday.”

Tony practically chokes on his food, beating at his chest to dislodge the offending item, “No, it’s Friday. I know it is.”

Natasha places down her food containers and pulls out her phone to view the calendar, “No, look it’s on Saturday.”

Tony adjusts his A.I. glasses to view the calendar, releasing a small ‘huh’ at the realisation, “Oh, yeah now I remember. It was Friday last year, I just assumed it was like that this year.”

Natasha looks at Tony unsettled, “You concern me sometimes, Stark.”

Tony waves a dismissive hand towards Natasha, “I can’t be the smartest person in the room all the time, it’s an exhausting gift.”

Natasha shakes her head in amusement, “Well, once I’m done here I’m heading up to bed. It’s going to be a long day tomorrow, making sure everything is purchased before y/n gets home.”

“Has she contacted you today?” Tony asks.

Natasha takes a moment to think before slightly shaking her head, “No actually, though you know what she’s like, once she’s in mission mode that’s all she thinks about. If she doesn’t contact me before midday tomorrow we can check on her can’t we?”

Tony nods his head, “Of course, she’s probably just busy kicking ass or something.”

“Yeah, you’re right, it’s probably nothing.” Natasha lets out as she mindlessly moves her food from side to side.

Natasha drags herself down yet another supermarket aisle, searching for the perfect products needed to make sure your party is one to remember.

Her shopping cart is mostly full, occupied with items such as multi coloured streamers; a series of balloons- varying in pattern and colour; a wide variety of snacks that she knows the team will love and several cases of beverages upon request by each member attending the party.

Natasha clicks her tongue against the roof of her mouth in boredom; as she uses one of her hands to filter through the range of celebratory banners available on one of the shelves, “‘Happy Anniversary’, no. ‘Good Luck’’, nope. ‘Happy Birthday’, finally.”

Just as she’s about to pick up the correct banner, her phone begins to vibrate furiously in her jacket pocket, indicating a phone call.

Once her phone is out of her pocket, she notices that the caller ID states it’s an unknown number. Natasha hesitantly answers the call and brings the device to her ear.

“Hello.” She says cautiously.

Her slight trepidation vanishes once your voice sounds through the phone, “Hi my love. What are you up to?” You ask curiously.

Natasha briefly smiles at your question, knowing she has to lie in order to avoid suspicion, “Um, just lounging around the compound. How come you are calling, are you okay detka?”

Natasha glances around at the displays surrounding her, waiting for a response.

“Oh yeah, of course. I just wanted to let you know that your super badass girlfriend is on her way home!”

Natasha’s entire body freezes in shock, “Wait, what? That’s too early… I mean how come you’re coming back earlier than expected?” Natasha tries to sound as calm as she possibly can, but pure panic sets in her mind at the realisation that your party is nowhere near completion for your arrival home.

“Well, I spent the majority of yesterday working hard and it really paid off so I ended up finishing the mission early. I can’t wait to see you and the team. I should be around three hours; I need to stop by the S.H.I.E.L.D Headquarters beforehand to give in my mission report and have a catch up with Fury.” You say excitedly, desperate to spend time with your girlfriend after a tough mission.

Natasha continues to remain stunned, “Um, yeah sure-“

You reluctantly interrupt Natasha, “Oh sorry, I have to go Nat. I’ll see you soon, I love you!” You shout just before hanging up.

Natasha barely mumbles out a response as she allows her body to relax slightly. Once her gaze lands on the pile of party supplies stacked in front of her, she gets to work dialling Tony.

As soon as Tony answers the call, she wastes no time in addressing him, “Stark, we have a problem.”

Natasha has never sprinted so fast in her life, she quickly made her way around the supermarket. Throwing in random supplies that could turn out useful in the long run.

As soon as she paid for the supplies she instantly made her way to her car and set off back to the compound in record time.

Luckily for her, Tony devised a plan in order for the compound to be ready for your arrival.

Wanda was sent out to pick up the various gifts that were put on reserve for you earlier in the week. Thor and Steve were tasked with the duty of setting up the tables and chairs in the living area, ready to be decorated and for all the food and drinks to be spread out across them as soon as Natasha gets home. Bruce and Clint helped tidy around the compound, their efforts easily making it the neatest it has been in months. As for Tony, he was on cake retrieval duty.

Natasha allows the car to screech to an abrupt halt outside the compound’s entrance, not caring enough to park it up properly at this moment in time.

As soon as Happy sees Natasha pull up, he quickly makes his way to the boot of the car to help carry in the mass amount of supplies, “I called up some buddies of mine, they’re on their way to cater for the Shawarma and other food options you and Tony requested for the party.” Happy tells Natasha as they grab each bag at a rapid pace.

“Happy Hogan, you’re a lifesaver.” Natasha says as she quickly runs towards the doors and into the elevator leading up to the living area of the compound; with Happy trailing after her.

Thankfully, the journey to the second floor is quick, allowing Natasha to place the bags down on to the couches in the centre of the room.

“Okay, Happy you can go and wait for you friends, but please can you move my car?” Natasha asks as she tosses her car keys to Happy.

He catches them with ease, “No problem, I’ll send them up as soon as they arrive.”

Once Happy leaves, Natasha turns her attention to the rest of the team present, “Tony and Wanda will be back soon, so can you all help me sort out these decorations?”

Clint, Thor, Steve and Bruce make their way over to unpack the bags, “Where do you want all the food?” Bruce asks.

Natasha points towards one of the tables set out by Thor and Steve, “On any of those tables, please. Maybe get one of those cooler boxes to put the drinks in with some ice.”

Bruce nods at Natasha’s request and quickly gets to work on fulfilling it.

“Um Nat, I think you picked up the wrong banner.” Clint says as he unrolls the decorative piece.

Natasha looks over to see that she has mistakenly picked up the ‘Happy Anniversary’ banner; most likely in the heat of the moment once she found out you were heading home early.

Natasha groans in frustration, before she hears more members enter the room, “Hey, sorry we’re late.” Sam says as he and Bucky come through the elevator with what seems to be a Karaoke set- definitely a Stark addition.

“It’s fine, can you set whatever that is up for us whilst we deal with the decorations?” Natasha addresses the two teammates.

“You know, you could just change the banner to say ‘Happy Anniversary of your birth’.” Bucky says as he effortlessly carries the heavy equipment and notices the offending banner.

“That will just have to work because we don’t have time to waste, she’s going to be home in around two hours.” Natasha says as she tosses out all the contents of the bag. Allowing each member to take a desired piece of decoration to hang up or display.

“I shall blow up the balloons, I will most likely be better suited for such a-“

Natasha holds her hand up to Thor, “I get it, can you just blow them up and arrange them throughout the room.”

At that moment, Wanda makes her way into the living area. Carrying several gift bags, “Hey, I got all the gifts on the list.”

Natasha releases a sigh of relief, “Thank you Wanda, at least that’s one thing completed.”

Wanda takes the gifts over to a vacant table and starts to arrange them in size order.

“Wands, do you know when Tony will be back?” Natasha questions.

Wanda shrugs, “He shouldn’t be much longer, he left when I did.”

Natasha can’t help but feel the stress of the situation get to her, causing Clint to place a hand on his friend’s shoulder, “Hey, Natasha we’re going to get this done. I promise you, it will be a kick ass party, won’t it team?”

The team gives Natasha a set of reassuring nods, claiming her nerves partially.

Natasha smiles appreciatively at them all, “Thank you so much for this, I’m really grateful.”

“We’re family, we’ll always help each other, especially if it’s for one of our own.” Steve says as he unpacks a set of streamers, ready to be placed around the edges of the room.

The moment is interrupted when the team hears the elevator doors opening, revealing Tony carrying an extremely large box.

Natasha can’t help but rush over to take the box out of Tony’s hands, “Is it good? Have you looked at it?” She asks eagerly, with Tony not revealing the desired design of the cake.

Tony shakes his head, “No, I was in a rush so I just took the box and made my way back.”

Natasha slowly lifts the lid of the cake box and gasps in horror at the contents.

The whole team abandons their tasks to make their way over to Natasha and Tony, wondering why such a reaction was necessary.

“Oh my god.” Wanda lets out when she sees the cake.

Sam and Bucky can’t help but smirk at the shape of the cake, knowing if they release any laughter Natasha will not hold back on her Black Widow tactics.

“Wait a minute, I didn’t ask for this?!” Tony says as he studies the cake.

“That’s a relief, I was concerned for a minute there.” Clint says, as he tilts his head to figure out the purpose of the cake.

Natasha looks at Tony furiously, “Why the hell have you got my girlfriend a penis cake?”

Tony slowly backs away from Natasha, “I swear, I didn’t ask for this. The guy on the phone asked how he should do it so I said ‘surprise me’. I didn’t think he would give us that thing.” Tony hysterically gestures towards the cake.

Natasha takes a step forward to Tony, but is stopped by Wanda, “Nat, give me some time and I’ll salvage it. It’s not the end of the world.”

Natasha releases a few breaths to calm herself, “You’re on clean up duty for after the party Stark.”

She says as she turns away to continue the decorating process.

Tony smiles in relief, “I thought she was going to kick my ass.”

“That I would love to see. Come on, we haven’t got much time. Let’s help Nat out as much as we can before y/n gets back.” Clint guides the team away, giving Wanda the space needed to help improve the appearance of the cake.

The team works together to help achieve a beautiful display around the compound. Once the caterers arrive, they soon set up their equipment.

Natasha takes a moment to admire the scene, proud of the efforts put in from each team member. Now all she needs is you here to celebrate with.

Once you land the Quinjet, you make your way down the ramp exhausted. The entire process of your mission has officially drained every ounce of energy out of you.

All you want to do is catch up with your teammates; shower and have a well deserved nap with your girlfriend.

You make a slight detour on your way to the living area, opting to place your combat gear away, and saving yourself a job for later.

Once you’ve successfully shoved your bag into your locker and have placed your guns and knives in their lock up locations you go to leave the room.

You pick up the pace towards the living area, excited to see everyone. If they’re going to be hanging out anywhere in the compound, it’s going to be there.

However, once you open the main door leading into the room, you can’t help but freeze in your spot.

You’re in complete awe of your surroundings; gorgeous and shimmering streamers reflect the lights from above. Almost replicating the effect of a disco ball.

An impressive amount of your favourite drinks and snacks fill tables located around the room. Alongside other food stations and what seems to be a gift area.

You slowly walk further into the room, ensuring to admire each intricate detail.

You pass a wave of balloons, gently tapping at them and loving how they blend in with the metallic shades decorating each section.

As you twirl around to view more, you notice a couple of banners hanging high up, one saying ‘Happy Birthday y/n!’ And the other saying ‘Happy Anniversary of your birth y/n!’ Causing you to let out a small laugh at the arrangement.

Before you can take anymore in, your team jumps out from various spots from around the room to shout out an enthusiastic ‘surprise’ in your direction.

You can’t help the tears that invade your eyes, never has anyone gone to such lengths to celebrate your birthday. The gratitude you feel in this moment is truly overwhelming, in a good way of course.

Each member of your team stands proudly with a party hat on.

Natasha makes her way over to you and brings you into a hug once she sees your tear filled eyes, assuming what circumstances / memories have caused this type of reaction.

“Oh, she’s crying. Um, if you hate it, it was all Natasha’s doing. We had nothing to do with it.” Tony says as he mimics a surrendering motion.

Natasha sends him a glare; however you laugh as you wipe your eyes, “No, I love it. I just can’t believe you would all go to so much trouble for me. You don’t realise how much this means to me.”

Natasha wipes away any stray tears that you have missed, “Of course we would. We all love you y/n, more than you know. I know your birthday is technically tomorrow but we wanted to surprise you.”

You hug Natasha tightly, “It worked. Thank you so much.”

“Yeah, yeah stop stealing the birthday girl.” Tony says teasingly to Natasha as he opens his arms up towards you.

You move into his embrace, giving him a heartfelt hug.

Once he lets go, you ensure to give everyone a hug. Showing your appreciation to each and every one of them.

Natasha clears her throat from next to you, “Tony was in charge of the cake and well, I apologise in advance.”

Natasha leads you to a very interesting looking cake. You can’t quite tell what it’s supposed to be but you still appreciate it.

“Thank you Tony, do I even want to know what it is?” You question with a smirk.

Tony shakes his head, “I think it’s best if we all pretend it’s a rare species of rabbit and call it even.”

You laugh at his answer, opting to choose to believe that your cake is in fact a rare species of rabbit.

“Let’s get this party started!” Bucky shouts out, causing everyone to cheer in agreement.

You place a party hat on your head to join in, wrapping your arms around Natasha, “I love you, thank you so much for all this.”

Natasha plants a small kiss on your lips, “I love you too, I’ll always be here to celebrate your birthdays. Each and every one of them.”

Just as you’re about to say something, Tony links his arm through yours and guides you around each station. Ensuring to point out every detail he had inputted to the planning process.

With a few rounds of karaoke; good food and gifts, you and the team celebrated the night away. You created new, precious memories with your new found family. This one night was enough to make up for all the missed opportunities in the past.

You couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of the Avenger’s life. The family you have always dreamed and wished for- even if they do have an interesting taste in cake.

Here, I'll show the characters that will be seen at the introduction, all of them which have big roles at the beginning, starting by my protagonist!

Vizk Spheyre is a young prince that, by the beginning of the show, has to take care of the kingdom while the queen is away. He's very spoiled and can be very frustrating to talk to sometimes, but he's, deep down, trying to do what's right.

As you can see, his "soul color" (Which will always be represented by hair and skin color) is Yellow, I choose this one to represent how he's young, naive and materialistic

Frya is the first of the three main "Dot" characters, She's Vizk's personal assistant and works at keeping him out of trouble. She's a little chaotic and has many... Secrets, but, from what we see, she loves her job!

Her soul color is light green, envy...

Zed! Well, Father Zed, he's the leader of a silent church that is the core religion in Externus, even owning his own chuch on the castle. He's a devote, and as so he took a vow of silence, only speaking one language: Dance! He comes into scene to help Vizk relax when he starts getting frustrated with taking care of the whole kingdom, giving him advice.

His soul color is dark blue, because the color represents sadness and tragedy, something his past has a lot.

Doctor Ice and Doctor Freeze! Two siblings sharing one body (Or maybe just a crazy woman...) they are the Queen's lead scientists and they embrace it! But they also take their times to indulge in their Hobbies, Ice likes makeup, Freeze loves shooting! They both are also leaders of the Hospital area, so they are tasked with seeing Vizk a lot!

Their soul is purple because purple is the coolest color and they're cool!

I'm not lying when I say this is my favorite character with how he came out, Edgar Spencer! He has a very, very important job in the kingdom... A Bibliotecary! Okay, it may not sound all that fancy, but in Externus it is a job that only a very trusted person can get! For, all the files and information on E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.G is kept by them! And Spencer knows it All! But that's not all! He's also Vizk's personal teacher by mornings, collects relics and keeps the library by day and by night, oh, by night he's Externus's most famous and loved Drag queen! Which, trust me, is way more radical than it is here in earth!

His Soul Color is Dark Green, (You can see it on the tips of his hair) it gives off the vibe he's calm and controlled, and it's also a big lie...

stephhhh do you have any good swan jones family headcanons

oh my god you have no idea, i have a million. my biggest one right now is one i’ve been playing around with for awhile where they head back to the enchanted forest once Hope’s powers start to manifest

the whole thing was pretty much inspired by this one image of this old house boat that’s lived in my brain for ages. i just have such a clear idea of them living in a big, cozy enchanted Jolly Roger that looks like this

hang on i gotta put the rest under the cut, this is gonna get long winded as hell ;;

as much as i love the big blue captain swan house, i just don’t see them as the type to be able to stay in one place for long, especially once the realms are untied and more townspeople move away from storybrooke. i think they’ll always come back to visit, but for them home was always with each other and not really a specific place ya know?

i imagine the jolly being transformed with Emma’s magic (and some of hope’s) too. it’s an old ship that’s been through so many realms it’s already got magic in the wood so it’s not really a stretch to add a nursery and indoor plumbing

here’s my big mood board for what the ship looks like

think howl’s moving castle and just cozy magical realism vibes, lots of plants and stained glass

also Hope’s nursery is a big one

plus just little nooks and spaces in the ship that are impossible to find sometimes, that sometimes disappear for days or weeks before showing up again

also cats, there’s gotta be a handful of cats that just like…show up and stay

the biggest thing tho is siblings. as much as i love the "Emma and Killian have 10 babies" headcannon, i always ALWAYS saw them as the types foster or adopt other lost children. i just have this image of the Jolly full of wayward kids they found on their journeys that needed a place to rest for the night and somehow ended up a part of a big chaotic magical pirate family. Hope Swan Jones obviously being the one to invite them on board without asking always her parents first

i had this idea for a future fic where the jolly roger, after being so enchanted over time by the swan girls, just starts adding extra rooms some mornings, seemingly out of nowhere for no reason, until Emma or Killian come across a scruffy kid who tried to pick their pockets who just somehow happens to be the perfect fit for all the new clothes and new bed that appeared overnight. this happens multiple times and they learn to just go with it, the jolly is just building herself a new crew 💖

anyway see if i do literally anything with that, it’s just fun to make lil pinterest boards about it right now hahhaaaaa

can we please see your headcanons of Susie and Frank's relationship? 🥺 (I am a big believer in Frank and Susie viewing each other as siblings).

THAT IS ON GOD HOW I VIEW THEIR RELATIONSHIP AS WELL !!! They just give me major older brother & and younger sister vibes, I just think they're so silly and just love imagining their dynamic!

• Although Frank isn't Susie's first choice when needing to vent or get help with something, whenever she DOES ask for his help, he will drop whatever he's doing to be there for her

• Whenever they need the other's attention, they will just yell at each other from wherever they are, more specifically when they're in the lodge and have a question or whatever. For instance, if one of them was ordering a pizza, they'd yell for the other to tell them what kind they want

• Both of them will often walk into the room the other is in, stare at them, and then turn the light off and BOOK it before the other can catch them

• Definitely the most chaotic duo, and tend to cause the most problems together cause neither of them really thinks things through before doing them. Work very well together, though, and are basically able to tell what the other is thinking just by lookin at em

• Susie LOVES to give Frank a hard time, especially about his relationship with Julie, buggin' him nonstop, both before they got together and afterwards. Susie would call him out for staring at Julie for too long, being stupid for not being able to tell that Julie liked him back for quite a while, and just overall how dumb he gets when he's around her. Frank gets a bit annoyed, but he doesn't mind it, especially since he'll just bite back by mocking her about her relationship with Joey. It's all lighthearted, ofc

• On this note as well, though Frank typically talked to Joey about Julie, sometimes he'd confide in Susie since she knows Julie best, knowing absolutely everything about her, and Susie would get very giddy about helping him out

• Frank's really bad at comforting Susie when she's upset, and typically tries to find Julie or Joey to help him out, but he tries his goddamn best when he needs to. He'll typically just stay silent, giving her a hug and just letting her vent or cry

• Susie was a bit hesitant around Frank when Julie first introduced him to her and Joey, but seeing how happy he made Julie brought her defense around him down. It wasn't until he let her go on a whole ass info dump about cats and actually participating in the info dump with her that she really started to trust him. Just like with Julie, Susie started to look up to him big time and trusted him as the leader of their lil group

• Sometimes Susie will put lil hair ties or hairclips in Frank's hair, and it would always look like an absolute disaster, but she always found it a lot of fun and really funny lookin' as well. Julie managed to snap a picture of Susie doing this and has it hanging on her wall, absolutely joyful that her friends all get along to well with each other

• Both of them will barge in on whatever the other is doing and just start talking about whatever is on their mind, not a single regard about whether the one they're annoying is doing something important, and whether or not the other will actually stop and listen (most of the time they will)

• While Frank is protective of Julie in your typical "that's my girlfriend" fashion, he's very protective of Susie in a "that's my younger sister" kind of way!

• Susie drew a picture of Frank once, and he on god had to keep himself from laughing over it, not necessarily because it was bad, but because it just meant a lot to him that she'd do something like that

• Despite neither of them owning a car nor having a license to actually drive (Frank got his suspended and Susie just hasn't gotten hers yet), sometimes they'd steal either Clive's or Susie's parent's cars and go on drives, especially whenever Julie and Joey are out doing something else (like work or whatever). They always make sure to get the cars back before their rightful owners notice, but they've gotten close to getting caught a few times

• They tend to get in the most arguments, and neither of them will hold back at screaming at the other, and both of them can and will get LOUD. They'll lowkey give each other the silent treatment after fighting, and then make up by asking the other if they want food or something (and sometimes awkwardly saying sorry before forgetting about the whole debacle and moving past it entirely)

• When Frank was still on Fairview's basketball team early in his Senior year, he overheard a lot of the shit some of the cheerleaders (specifically the ones or a year above Susie's grade) would say about Susie, and get REALLY defensive and snap at them. Most of the time the girls didn't care, but it would get under his skin and he'd always tell Julie, who already knew about Susie getting bullied and had been trying to figure out how to deal with it for a while

• While Susie would get help with homework from Julie or Joey, Frank would always just tell her to toss it to the side and do something else, claiming that all that schoolwork wasn't really worth her time and encouraged her to work on her art instead, since he thought it'd help her more in the long run than stupid math or science packets
