It only needs to work if someone misses you instead of needing a dead parent, though it's accuracy at helping you find what you need is much diminished, it is still a good guide of leading you to the general vicinity of where you should be.

Lastly, I have for you, an ebony sewing box I found. It will be useful for stowing away your sewing supplies but also, any scrap material thrown into it will be seamlessly frankensteined together in a random combination. Sometimes in stunning ways or horrendous patterns, it depends upon how well the colors and fabrics blend. However, I warn against blending too many enchanted textiles. I found that magics don't like to mix and the results can be unpredictable.

I will take it, and hope I can pass it on to someone else it will serve half so well! Let me offer you something useful in return: a ring, a simple gold band inset with malachite, which belonged to one lost and longs to be found. Roman gave a sigh of relief as Neo, with a happy pep in her step, went to the trunk of the car and opened revealing the Malchite twins, daughters of Lil miss Malachite.

Neo: But I did kidnap her daughters!

Roman: Oooooh noooo!

Neo: Ransom time!

Neo goes to the driver seat and pulls her boyfriend out of his headbanging.

Neo: Let's go make some money, hot stuff!

Jaune: 😭

He was dragged away, leaving Roman with the twins with a sigh. He just shut the trunk back up and left back to his room. He needed a drink.

For Renegate AU, at what Moment Neo started to like Jaune?

Also, any plans on involving Lil' Miss in the plot? Would be interesting if the Twins were back at Mistral, as Beacon fell, I assume they returned home to their mother.

For Neo's feelings towards Jaune, there's at least a physical attraction from when the Renegades first forms. J-Man's cute and put on quite some muscle. When she starts considering a romantic attraction it would be about one third of the way through the Team's journey through Mistral when Neo has her big development Arc. I'm seriously considering scrapping the Pied Piper Musical Arc because guess what? Musicals do not translate well to paper, especially when you can't hear the music or see the dancing, so I'm going to do something else entirely. No matter what I go with though, it should be a big moment for Neo to begin seeing the Renegades as a new family, maybe literally in Jaune's case.

As for Lil Miss, she's involved like right after the Battle of Haven by brokering info on the Nikos Parents whereabouts for Jaune and Cinder.

During the early days of imaging Renegades, I had played around with the idea of the Malachite Twins becoming Renegades as well, but it never really shaped to anything. Would be fun to try and give Melanie and Militia their own little character stuff though.

thinking about the end of V5 and adam watching meh go from his tree, the assumption that maybe he's going to join them but actually he turns the opposite way which kind of implies that he's not gonna so an idea came to my mind and

what if he was the one to find cinder? all the way back in the first episode of V4 salem says "the boy continues to prove loyal" so take that a little further; after the battle of haven adam has nobody so where is he going to go? find the person who also has nobody since she's missing while everyone else is making their escape and he wouldn't think cinder's dead bc he had his escape beforehand.

( also he wants in on whatever the hell is going on bc he has nowhere else to go. )

they could bond over their hatred of atlas and wanting a member of team rwby dead but cinder can't bc salem's orders and adam's like. that's rough buddy luckily i did make a promise to blake to destroy everything she loves so count me in. match made in heaven and hell or something.

they'd probably get into a huge mess with lil miss malachite bc they're both wanted in mistral and that's an opportunity you just can't pass but they'd be so chaotic through the whole way to atlas and beyond that it would be worth it.
