12 Days of DadMight: A December Event!

An Event is HERE! Here's the TL:DR.

What's the Event Called?: 12 Days of Dadmight

When does the event take place?: December 14th - December 25th

When are the Angst Days: December 14th - December 19th

When are the Fluff Days: December 20th - December 25th

How would I describe the Event?

“12 Days of Dadmight” is a Christmas Event for the enjoyers of the relationship between Toshinori and Izuku (aka Dadmight). It’s one of my personal favorite relationships in MHA, so I decided for Christmas to turn it into an event for others like me!

While everyone knows the typically “12 Days of Christmas” song, this event comes with a twist. My personal favorite fic tag, is Hurt/Comfort- and the event reflects this!

Fluff is fun, however, I wanted to give our angst-lovers a treat as well! So, the first 6 days of the event are for our angst creators. Post an angsty dadmight fanfic or artwork if that’s what tickles your fancy! I want to cry myself to sleep.

That’s not to say I don’t love fluff! What is angst without fluff??? The last 6 days of the event are for the fluff creators. Post a fluffy fic or artwork! Make my cheeks hurt from smiling so hard!

Submission Rules:

Must be following my tumblr at @eyesoffthemaud

Produced pieces must include DadMight; particularly Izuku and Toshinori Yagi - other characters definitely may be included, but the main focus would be the relationship between both Izuku and Toshinori.

There is no limit on entries for this event. By submitting any piece(s) for the event, you are eligible for the prize. However, this does not mean that participating in all 12 days guarantees a win for the event.

Writers:

Minimum word count for fics: 1000 words

When submitting your writing, submit it to the collection (LINKED HERE) if your work isn’t in the collection. I haven't seen it.

Please add the tag, 12DaysofDadmightAngst or 12DaysofDadmightFluff to your piece as an indicator of what category you’re submitting your piece to.

Artists:

Art must be fully colored, simple sketches would be loved dearly but would not qualify for prize runnings.

When submitting your art, tag me @eyesoffthemaud. If your art has been reblogged then I have most definitely seen it. If I haven’t interacted with it in some way- I cannot guarantee that I have seen it.

Please add the tag, 12DaysofDadmightAngst or 12DaysofDadmightFluff to your piece as an indicator of what category you’re submitting your piece to.

Submission Timeframe:

All Submissions must be posted between December 14th through December 25th.

Late submissions are welcomed, but not encouraged.

There will be an official announcement when the event submission period has closed for judging. After that, any submissions after that announcement will not be considered for the prize.

Fics and Artwork should definitely not contain anything NSFW.

Heavy Gore is personally welcomed by me. However, I heavily discourage the showing, referencing, description, and/or usage of needles of any sort. This is an extreme phobia of mine, and as the event runner, it’s something I personally cannot handle. Please keep this in mind when writing/drawing- I wouldn't make this a rule if it truly didn't trigger my phobia.

This is not a Dekumight event. I swear. If you submit a Dekumight work to this event, I'm not only blocking you but blacklisting you from literally any and all events I ever choose to run in the future.

Prizes:

There are total 4 “winners” for the event

2 writers, 1 from the fluff submissions and 1 from the angst submissions received

2 artists, 1 from the fluff submissions and 1 from the angst submissions received

The prize that each winner will receive is 1 Full Body/Full Render commission from my wonderful spouse @mcfanely! Each winner gets 1 art piece just for them!

Additional Information

Feel free to submit pieces for both the designated “Angst” and “Fluff” submission periods. Please know that you can only “win” for 1 category. In other words, one person cannot win in multiple categories.

12/25 - Christmas on a Starship - William T. Riker x BetazoidGN!Reader - Star Trek: The Next Generation Y/n has lived on the USS Enterprise for about 8 months now after marrying William T. Riker. The couple’s first Christmas as a married couple was fast approaching and come Christmas Eve, Y/n thinks everything is in place for tomorrow. Internally, Will is freaking out, forgetting to get Y/n a gift during last leave.

12/31 - A Punch Bowl Waltz - Colin Bridgerton x Female!Reader - Bridgerton The Duke and Duchess have invited the rest of the Bridgerton family to their home for their annual new years ball, one that starts later and goes into the wee hours of the morning. While there, Colin quite literally runs into Y/n whilst she turns away from the punch bowl, ruining her dress in the process.

oh yes, of course! I hope it's okay that I added some Eri and Class 1A stuff just for funsies <3

as with most couples, Aizawa and Hizashi knows most, if not every, of the others secrets

for Aizawa, one of his biggest ones are the fact that he really enjoys halloween

not as much in the sense of himself dressing up and doing stuff, but he really enjoys the vibes, as well as seeing how much fun all the kids are having

both of them love doing the whole thing were they decorate their place and set it up for the trick or treat-ers and dress up themselves, always as something fairly recognizable for the kids, and always over the top

after they move to UA, they suddenly have Eri to share the traditions with

the first year she's with them Nejire and Shouto takes her out because of how busy they are with everything going on

but the next year, when things are calmer, they finally get to spend it with her themselves

they take her to the big halloween store in town to pick out her own costume (Aizawa is so proud when she insists the costume has to be scary)

sadly for them, or, Aizawa mostly, this is spotted by Mina and Denki

and they do not hesitate to run to Midnight to ask about why they just saw their teachers fully decked out to go treak or treat with Eri, when she's the one who's supposed to be the main event

and Midnight do not hesitate to spill the details of her friends past, where young Shouta and Hizashi would always win the best couple costume awards at any and all parties they went to

or how their whole home, no matter where that was at the moment, would be decked out floor to ceiling in full halloween decoration from the first of October and up 'til halloween, every single year

and of course Denki and Mina runs straight to their class to spill all the details

on actual halloween, during the day, all the students show up to class in their costumes, trying super hard to not laugh when Aizawa sees them

(even Bakugo agreed was bribed into put on a pair of devil horns)

legends say Aizawa actually smiled a little that day

Present Mic, on the other hand, got so excited when he saw them he decided to skip class and hold a costume fashion show

Eri was obviously invited, and ended up being a judge in the competition that ensued

(she declared that everyone won)

the look on her face as she tells Aizawa all about the show they put on for her later makes him love that stupid class just a little bit more

Aizawa obviously isn't big on social media, but Hizashi very much is, and every year he and Aizawa outdo themselves with a new, ridiculously over the top couple costume

and every year, the internet goes absolutely crazy for it

when Eri gets a little older, she gets to join if she wants to

but only if the costume does a good job at hiding her face and such, both Hizashi and Aizawa are very set on keeping her sheltered from the public

it's one of their oldest and most sacred traditions, and they both absolutely love it that way

you can easily say that halloween is their favorite holiday, haha <3

My Hero: The Dating Sim - Shouto Todoroki

A/N: So… best way to explain this, I was playing Harvest Moon, and I wondered what MHA would be like as that style dating sim, where you run around and during certain times you get specific dialogue or trigger certain events, and their expressions change between a select few things.

This is basically a mock-walkthrough like you can find on the internet for dating sims. I plan to make it a series. 😊

CW: Casual spoilers up through the licensing arc

Intro: … Have we met? No? I’m Shouto Todoroki… (annoyed) Yes, Endeavor’s son.

Hated Gift: This is supposed to be for me?

Disliked Gift: I don’t want this.

Neutral Gift: I could probably use this. Thanks.

Liked Gift: Is it… a holiday? Should I have gotten you something?

Loved Gift: It’s not my birthday, so…? You… want me to have it anyway? (Pleased) You’re surprisingly kind-natured.

During Class Hours:

• The teacher is glaring at you. Better sit down.

Gray Heart Dialogue:

• …Hmm?

• Team training is a waste of time. It would be more efficient if Aizawa-sensei let me handle tasks alone.

• Gray Heart Event: Shouto is training alone, you offer to join him.

• I don’t need your help. You would only get in the way. …! What? No, I’m not saying that to be impolite. (Somber) Training is easier if I don’t have to think about not injuring you.

Response A: You sure? I’m pretty tough, you know.

• (Annoyed) You know who I am, right? Is that why you’re bothering me?

Response B: More like real life that way! Besides, tedious things are more fun with company.

• …I don’t know about all that, but I suppose I can’t take up the entire training hall.

Purple Heart Dialogue:

• What do you want?

• …How am I? Fine. …I’m supposed to ask you it back…? (Somber) Don’t call me rude.

Blue Heart Dialogue:

• How are you?

• You see? I’m not rude. …! (Somber) What do you mean only saying it to appear polite is impolite?!

• Blue Heart Event: Your team loses the cavalry battle.

• I have to take remedial classes for the licensing.

• Of course, I want to be licensed as quickly as possible, but that means I have less time around the dorms. (Somber) …Once I’m done, we’ll have more time to train together again.

Red Heart Dialogue:

• Do you want to train together after class?

• (Somber) Maybe food after? Training always seems to end so fast.

End Event: Shouto greets you as you exit your dorm.

• Could I… talk to you for a moment? Alone? (Takes you to the training grounds) To be completely honest, I hate it when training is over. Er. That’s not what I’m trying to say… I wonder about what lies ahead of us, and with internships and everything going on…

Response A: I’ll still be around! As pros, we can always arrange to team up, can’t we?

• (Pleased) Yes, but I was hoping… that you could rely on me a bit more. I know that managing our careers won’t be easy, but I also know that I would regret not asking you to consider me as a boyfriend. (Happy Ending)

Response B: It’ll be sad, but we should focus on our careers and be the best heroes we can be!

• (Somber) Of course. (Normal) We’ll still see each other from time to time, I’m sure. I’ll be cheering you on, I hope you will do the same for me. (Normal Ending)

Sato announced happily, holding up a piece of perforated notebook paper, likely ripped from his class notebook.

"So who's going to help me pick up the ingredients?!"

Crickets.

A collective silence fell over all the members of Class 3A as they paused their random activities to peer up at their cheerful, robust classmate.

You, who was lounging on the couch with Mina's head in your lap as you twisted her hair, perked up at the sound of his sweet voice.

None of your other classmates had even uttered one sentence, not even in acknowledgement of Sato's words, and it made your heart clench.

Sucking your teeth, you tapped Mina on the shoulder so she could get up.

"So all of you enjoy eating 'Kido's treats but don't want to assist with the process, huh? Figures." You rolled your eyes at them then shot Sato a sweet smile.

"I'll come with you Riki', just let me grab my coat."

His eyes crinkled in happiness as he made little excited fists, incidentally crumpling up the paper in his hands.

He blushed once he realized his overexcited action and began straightening the paper out again.

"Thanks, Y/N! You're really the best!"

"So I've been told." You smirked as you grabbed your coat off the rack near the front door and replaced your slippers with your snow boots.

Dutifully, you pushed the cart along while Rikido gathered the ingredients that you would need to create the oversized confection.

“Let me see…we've got liquid egg whites, cinnamon, butter, corn syrup, vanilla extract, ground ginger - huh,”

He stopped walking suddenly as he talked out loud and you almost ran into his heels with the cart.

Rikido then turned to you with a bashful smile that warmed your heart.

“I can't help but think that we've missed something really important!”

You giggled a bit and stopped the cart in the middle of the baking aisle.

E/c eyes examined shelves packed with holiday-themed baking products before you had your ‘aha’ moment.

“Our house won't have much of a foundation if we forget the main ingredients - flour and baking soda.” You gave Sato a wide, toothy grin.

Taking your foot off the cart, you bent down to begin searching through the shelves for said ingredients. A shaky intake of breath behind you missed your ears while you focused on the task at hand.

Upon spotting a ten-pound bag of flour, you began reaching for it when Sato halts you with a hand on your shoulder.

“Oh no, Y/N, that looks kind of heavy! Let me help you!”

The burly brunette squatted down to your level and maneuvered the bag of flour so the majority of the weight of it rested in the crook of his arm.

Your eyes trailed from the white bag and up the arm of your very buff classmate. They then moved over his face, which was slightly tinted pink.

Sato snapped back to reality and lifted the bag to place it in the half-full cart. You didn't miss how his movements made the fabric of his gray sweatshirt pull taut on his muscular back.

“That's that then. A few more things and we can head to the checkout.”

Sato reminded you of what you were here for. You shook your head to clear your thoughts.

“Right, let's hurry back before the snow picks up!”

It had been hours now since Sato and you had left the grocery store.

Both of you worked tirelessly in the dorm kitchen, rolling out brown cinnamon-scented dough and then baking it.

Sato was whipping up the royal icing now while you sorted sugary gumdrops into pretty patterns.

Once the baking had concluded, you carried the garnishments up to his room while Sato carried the gingerbread slabs to begin assembling your UA Alliance copy.

The small space heater against Sato’s wall hummed quietly while the two of you worked. A pleasant silence blanketed the room while you both exchanged furtive glances that neither of you thought the other noticed.

“Hey, Y/N, pass me the icing so I can start assembling the roof?”

A few moments passed before your head snapped around in his direction.

“W-what? Oh! Sorry, Riki, I was zoning out.”

Your sweaty hand held a loose grip on the bowl, the dexterity steadily loosening as you stumbled over towards where Rikido was seated at the edge of his bed.

And then your foot slid on a random sock lying in the middle of the floor-

“Oh shit! Y/N, are you alright?!’

Rikido caught you around the waist in his strong arms. You had been saved from making a complete fool of yourself, but the bowl of icing…

With feline reflexes, he managed to grab it up with one hand while still holding you with the other. A bit of the sweet, white icing splashed onto his lower lip.

“That was close, what a mess that would have-”

With your breath heavy in your chest and your heart hammering against it, you looked Rikido in the eyes before moving them to his soft, pillowy lips.

“Y/N…?”

Maneuvering up onto your knees to straddle his waist, you cupped both cheeks and moved your mouth over the small, golden hoop dangling from his ear.

“Can I kiss you, Riki?”

His heart thumped wildly in his ears and he opened his mouth to speak when you took your pinky finger and swiped the bit of icing onto the tip.

You stuck your finger in his mouth and his eyes dilated while you dragged your finger over his tongue.

With a quiet ‘plop’ you pulled it out, his mouth chasing after it in order to gather more of your taste.

“Oh…damn..” Rikido looked at you with a dark veil over his usually bright and friendly brown eyes.

He sat up on his elbows, shifting you along with him and making your clothed cunt rub along his muscled thigh in your thin gray leggings.

“Mmm, Riki…I want you so badly…been wanting you all day…”

His eyebrows shot up as he turned to study your face. “R-really?! Me? But, why me?”

Your heart grew two sizes in your chest at his adorable bashfulness.

“What do you mean? Why not you?” Your thumbs stroked along his cheeks, making him sigh.

“I just thought maybe you’d like someone…cooler…and with a better quirk. Bakugou, Todoroki, Kirishima….Midoriya…” He blushed.

H/c locks flew back and forth as you shook your head insistently.

“No, Riki. Those guys are all great, but…I doubt that they’re as sweet as you.”

Sato chuckled at your corny joke with his cheeks still aflame.

With a few bucks and rolls of his hips, he had you quietly groaning his name before you smashed your lips against his.

The gingerbread house sat forgotten on its makeshift pedestal while the two of you furiously made out and dry-humped.

Sato pulled his sweatshirt over his thick brown hair and let you roll your pussy over his abs and the waistband of his boxers.

“Who knew my quiet little classmate was so dirty?” He whispered in your ear and licked the shell.

You giggled then pressed your lips into the juncture between his neck and shoulder, making him gasp.

“If anything, you'll come to know that I'm anything but quiet.” You winked, hoping he’d get your hint. He did.

Thick but gentle fingers ghosted over your hip bones, rubbing small circles into them before sliding under your sweater and tank top to reach warm, bare skin.

Once again your mouths collided, chasing each others’ tongues down in a messy, wet battle.

You sucked Rikido’s bottom lip into your mouth and nibbled on it while his tongue massaged the roof of your mouth, sliding against yours every now and again.

“Fuck, babe…I-”

Just as he was about to ask if you wanted to go farther, you both heard a ‘click’ and Sato’s room door flew open.

“Hey, everyone nominated me to come and check how things were coming along- oh ho ho! What's this? See, I knew something was going on here.”

None other than Denki Kaminari was standing in the doorway with an irritatingly smug smirk on his stupid face.

With a squeak, you clambered to Rikido’s side on the bed while the brunette male sat up and pulled his white tee down.

“Kaminari, have you ever heard of knocking?” Sato griped.

Denki's grin just widened.

“Would the scenery have changed if I did knock? I doubt it. I always knew you two liked each other.”

“Oh yeah and how did you know that Denki?” You asked him while trying to focus on getting your face to return to a normal temperature.

“Pfft, why do you think no one else volunteered to go to the store? We planned that so the two of you could finally get together. My skills of perception are unmatched.”

“Well use your perception and get the hell out so we can finish the gingerbread house.”

“Finish the house or finish tongue and dry fucking?”

“GET OUT DENKI!!” Both you and Sato shouted simultaneously.

Valentines is coming up and what better way to celebrate a holiday of love than with the characters we love !

Hori doing multiple breaks with 20 existing plots still needing solving with each chapter coming with 30kg of content every other week on thursday and the anime still ongoing:

Like, calm down ppl. Even if the story finishes, that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy it. Or that we will never see these characters again.

Hori can still use them, can still make loads of stuff with content for us. Not to mention, he can make other series too, HAS made other series, if you just want to follow him specifically.

Like didn't bleach and Naruto have this??? Why couldn't MHA?

Like, right now, I'm actually reading a previous work of his called Oumagadoki Zoo.

Honestly, I'll be so relieved when BNHA, not because I hate the story and want it to. No, that means Horikoshi can take a break again and use that time to refreshen up and come up with another story if he chooses to. Doesn't he wants to try out horror? I'd love to see that!

Also, it's not like once the series finishes that people can't go back and revisit it.

Naruto finished and people still revisit that.

Sometimes I go back and rewatch animes that long ended, InuYasha and Yu-Gi-Oh for example, two animes I grew up on.

When the manga ends, I'll give it very late 2023 to early 2024, maybe even later. Regardless, Horikoshi isn't in a rush to finish and I wish people stop seeing as such. If he was, MHA would have been finished. I also wish people stop thinking that taking breaks is illegal or something because every time he takes a break, I hope he gets the rest, I wish him good health.

Also, I feel like some fans forget that there are holidays to consider or maybe there's an unfortunate event where a break is necessary to take.

It took years before Bleach got new content. It has happen to many media before, not just animes and mangas.

Seriously, I need the fandom to calm down sometimes.
