Alright anon, I blocked you because, as I’ve said, that’s what I do with anon hate, so. But I’ll respond anyway.

Okay so first of all, and read this very carefully: this is my blog and I can do whatever I want on it. Just to reiterate in case you didn’t understand, this is my blog and I can do whatever the fuck I want on it.

Bullies attack people directly. Am I voicing my opinions to her? No. My opinions shouldn’t have any effect on her. That’s how I like it. If I saw her irl, I honestly would not bother her. Not because I don’t like her, but because I have a policy of not being a dick to people (I keep my opinions within my “stupid little community” as you call it) unless they’re a dick to me first. Even then, I’d probably just walk away from her, honestly.

I don’t think me voicing my opinions about a billionaire on my private tumblr blog with less than a thousand followers is me being rude. She won’t ever see it. Me messaging her or saying it to her face, that would be rude. And I have no doubt people have done that to both her and Timothée. And unless those people know either of them personally, I do not support those people choosing to do that.

Oh, I accept her for what she is. Sometimes, what someone is, is a bad person. Sorry 🤷‍♀️

Sure, it matters that she’s confident and happy. But she is aware that she promotes harmful beauty standards to people like her own daughter. She is aware that she is a public figure. And not only did she get that stuff done anyway, she wasn’t open about it. She lied about it. I wouldn’t mind half as much if she hadn’t lied about it. Someone getting surgery to feel better about themselves, that’s absolutely fine with me and I won’t mock them for it if they’re being honest and not hurting anyone. But she is hurting people. Her behavior has given people eating disorders. Does she care? No. If she did, she’d change her behavior. So yeah, I’m gonna say how I feel on my own blog. If you dislike that, the door’s right there.

Sure, he can date whoever he wants. Absolutely. And guess what? I can say whatever I want on my own blog. I’m not breaking any laws, I’m not contacting either of them with this or saying it where they can see it. What I think and say here has zero impact on them or their lives, which, again, is the ideal situation in my mind. So… I don’t really care if you think I’m a bully, anon. If I was, I’d be bothering them with my opinions. I’m not. However, you came onto my blog and brought your opinions about me up with me. It would not have affected me if you had voiced your opinions on your own blog without interacting with me. Notice the difference?

EDIT: How do we show appreciation to the volunteers? For me reading these deep dives on OTW issues u guys apparently it's been said multiple times that one of their objective statements is to have paid staff for ao3 and there's a surplus of donations they haven't used up or the other community solutions that needs to address. For those more financially literate feel free to analyze, snipe me or add to the discussion etc. linked here by deepa. They’re cool and these yearly analysis they did aint no joke.

But Seriously what can we do for these volunteers? The probable burn out from this entire fiasco would be no joke. @ao3org

question: do ppl ACTUALLY say things they don’t mean when they’re angry? or is that just an excuse after letting something true slip? i wouldn’t ever say something i don’t mean in anger, so the concept confuses me.

but something was said to me that is bothering me, though apparently was said in an argument and wasn’t meant. but i don’t rlly believe it wasn’t like, deep down true thoughts/feelings??? anyone have any insight? anyone say things they don’t mean in anger?

Aspec men deserve much more respect and recognition in the aspec community than they receive. They often face a different form of aphobia specific to them ("men are naturally sexual they can't be ace" "all men are unromantic that's not unique") this rhetoric is spouted by many, even members of our own community and I hope for a day where that is no longer the case. As an ace and demiro woman (demigirl but that's beside the point) I want to encourage folks to take the time to give the aspec men in their lives support and to the aspec men reading, you are who you say you are no matter what people say and you deserve the world. I'm sorry for the ways in which toxic masculinity has harmed you. You are a valued member of the aspec community and the queer community as a whole. No ace or aro person is broken and neither are you. I'm sorry if anyone has ever told you otherwise.

ive only seen bits and pieces of what happened to predesterone, i know they got deleted (at least twice) and the ceo is making defamatory statements about them, but im genuinely confused as to where I could find this all going down. if u dont wanna gather links or whatever i get it its just that everything popped up on my dash suddenly and i want to know whats happening but i dont know how to find out

theres obviously a lot of people posting rn but ill try to get some links together to sum it up as best i can find- keep in mind i never followed her myself and only distantly knew of her so there are people closer to the situation that probably have more stuff they can tell you though, and searching her url(s) has a lot of info

avery has i think two blogs deleted yeah, unsure about any older ones but predstrogen and avewy/predesterone were both deleted very recently

predstrogen (the first blog) was allegedly deleted for "sexually explicit material" despite any posts that may have been labelled as such being marked with a community label and her blog recently being manually approved as NOT containing adult content. she also talks in this post, as well as here, about how she has had a support ticket open for several months for harassment she was receiving that has not been dealt with

this is an example of the threats and harassment she has been receiving. ive seen a few different people get this ask copy pasted

the CEO of tumblr made a post wherin he publicly aired information regarding her deletion and threatened legal action against her , showing examples of the alleged death threats where no actual threats were made and telling people in the replies to just leave if they were unhappy with the moderation of the site

avery made a post about this and her new blog was again deleted within five minutes of her making it

multiple people who have made posts about the situation have said matt has DMed them and confronted them

this is word im hearing secondhand, so if i get any details wrong please correct me, but posts of hers such as her transition timeline are apparently ones that were flagged. i cant find any screenshots but many of her posts, including one that was a silly edit of a snow leapord wearing shoes, have been completely wiped from the site. if anyone has a screenshot or link to both the original post and it being deleted i can add it to this

About your language brainrot. I see your "Reader's writing can't match tyvat's long and flowery writing" and bring you "Tyvat isn't used to books over 50 pages long so a short story to the Reader is a whole dictionary to tyvat readers".

Seriously, have you seen how thin the books are? They don't wrote novels, they write short chapters formatted in the way really old stories are. As in, summarizing all the events down into one smooth story then adding a few quotes. Fanfiction writers are insane. They will willingly sit down and write hundreds of words at a time. To them, a proper modern day story of maybe, oh 10k words or so, would probably be like the Oddessy itself.

If we were to combine the two headcanons. It would end up as many historians being intimidated by this insanely long written scripture in the language of the forgotten.

I'm going to take this a step further and say that if the creator asked some people to proofread their things, it would establish a hiarchy of who is able to actually finish the book the creator read and who isn't.

Scaramouche used to clown on Childe all the time about how he was too impatient to even “sit down and read the King’s classics”, and he was downright insufferable when he found out about Tartaglia’s habit of recreating battle scenes/that being what motivated him to fight sometimes lol

Even when his memories were wiped for a bit, he found comfort in these fantastical epics still sticking around, even when his old names did not
