Getting lost at a haunted house only to be saved by Megumi
Tumblr media
Pairing: Megumi x fem!reader
Word Count: 2k
Synopsis: After your friends dragged you into a tunnel of terror at an amusement park despite your irrational fear of creepy stuff, you find yourself lost in your own panic. Until a sudden blue-eyed boy appears and helps you out...
Warnings: your friends are shitty, Megumi is a sweetheart, reader is obviously scared of creepy stuff lol
Tumblr media
„This is probably the worst thing you ever made me do”, Megumi mutters, annoyed by the sheer sight in front of him.
When Gojo-sensei told them about a day off, he certainly didn’t see himself going to an amusement park with Itadori and Kugisaki. He should have stayed back, he could have read the new book he just bought, enjoying the silence of empty Jujutsu High while the others were out doing whatever they want. But instead, he finds himself surrounded by crying children with their hands covered in sweets, people bumping into him with every step he takes.
What on earth is he doing here?
“You’re such a pain in the ass, Fushiguro. How about going out and having some fun instead of making it your mission to look as if somebody killed your puppy? Geez.”
“Look, a haunted house!”, Yuji cries out, his eyes glossy from sheer excitement.
“Oh, I wanna go in!”
“I don’t wanna go in”, you protest while your friends literally drag you after themselves.
To be honest, the thought of going into a haunted house alone makes you want to leave immediately. If there’s one thing you hate, it’s creepy stuff. No matter if it’s as innocent as Halloween or things like horror films based on a true story. There is nothing worse than getting jump scared, feeling as if your heart will stop beating any minute, cold sweat running down your neck. No, there is absolutely no way in hell you will step one foot into this cursed place, you’ll just wait here and get some ice cream, you’ll-
“I really don’t wanna do this”, you whine into pitch-black darkness, heavy creepy music making you feel sick in an instant.
Your heartbeat hammers against your already aching chest, palm getting so sweaty that you are unable to hold onto the hand of your friend any longer.
“Hey, where are you? I-I think I lost you guys!”
No response, no sign of life. Just you, the darkness around you and your own blood rushing through your ears.
Fuck, you can’t do this alone. Where is the emergency exit when you need it? Is there somebody else around you?
“H-hello?”
No response, no sign of life.
Panic starts to rise in your chest, disturbing screams, violent laughter and creepy music drowning your head in nothing but thick fear. You need to get out of here as fast as possible.
Your wobbly feet carry you down the dark hallway. But instead of being able to simply sprint through the tunnel of horror, you are greeted by a never-ending hallway that is that is filled with macabre clowns decorating each and every centimetre around you. There aren’t many things that scare you more than strange dolls that look like Annabell herself, but clowns…You hated them since you were a child, no matter how friendly they looked.
And these ones definitely don’t.
“Are you lost, little one?”
That voice is close, too close for your liking. You rest your eyes for a second, pretend that this deep voice that shook you to your core isn’t really there. No, this must be part of the music, a stupid joke-
“I am still here.”
Something touches your arm. Out of instinct, you widen your glossy eyes, staring straight into the maniac grin of a clown.
A real clown.
Not just a doll.
Your body react on its own, a violent shriek escaping your lips.
Run.
As fast as you can, past the clown decorating the wall, straight into nothing but darkness while this little voice inside your head can’t stop laughing about your pathetic self. How old are you? 10?
It doesn’t matter. Your frightened eyes are darted fowards, adrenaline pumping through your veins while all you can think about is stepping through that door, getting out of this living nightmare as soon as possible. You just need to push yourself a little harder, get through this dark hallway right in front of you and it will be over, you are almost there-
You see stars. Before you are even process what happens, you bump into something hard and fall straight onto the floor with your head spinning in confusion. Was is a wall, a door? No, the dim light shows you the outline of a person. Your guts turn in an instant, the horrifying face of that clown you saw seconds ago still haunting your mind. Please, not another one of these actors.
It stretches out his hand, ready to grab you.
“NO!”, you scream on top of your lungs, crawling backwards in a desperate attempt to escape those fingertips.
Megumi can’t help but stare at your puny figure in sheer disbelief. Why the hell are you so scared? And why are you here on your own? Your thick and heavy breaths hang in the air between you both, distracting him from his mission to find a way out of here after Itadori and Kugisaki ran away like some 4-year old kids.
“Calm down, I’m just trying to find my way out of here”, he calmly announces.
You blink against the darkness around you, too stunned to say a single word. That is definitely a boy with a voice that could calm down entire oceans, making your heartbeat tame down in an instant.
“Let me help you up, okay? Give me your hand.”
There it is, his big hand stretched out in front of you. Like in trance you take it, palms still covered in cold sweat when he lifts you off the ground with ease. In the dim light you aren’t able to see anything but the outline of his features, his tall and actually quite muscular frame.
“We’ll get out of here together, just don’t let go of my-“
In the matter of seconds, your whole body clings onto his arm for what feels like dear life, nails digging into his firm biceps without mercy. He can’t leave you alone here like your friends did, there is absolutely no way in hell you’ll let go of this boy.
Much to Megumi’s fortune, the room is so dark that you can’t tell the deep blush creeping up his face. You’re a girl with a voice sounding so angelic that it caught him off guard, with your breast pressed against his arm-
Oh god.
“Let’s go”, he mumbles.
He forces himself to stare in front of him, to not risk a look at you while tumbling down the dark hallway with you by his side. But the second he opens the next door filled with red lights, his gaze wanders to his left side, gets greeted by your doe eyes immediately.
Time stands still, Megumi’s heart pounding as hard as yours when all he does is staring at your way too gorgeous but frightened features. You have to be around his age, even though it’s hard to tell in that strange light. But oh your face definitely matches your angelic voice.
“Thank you for not leaving me alone”, you mumble against his arm, eyes directed towards the next door ahead of you.
“There’s no need to thank me. How did you end up in here anyway if you are this scared?”
“My friends forced me and left me after the first door on my own.”
Megumi huffs in response. Well, that definitely sounds way too familiar. When he sees these two idiots again…
“But aren’t they aware of the fact that you’re scared?”
“Everyone is. But I guess they just thought it would be funny…”
“It’s not”, Megumi replies in an instant.
“You don’t deserve this. It might not make sense to them, but you are stressed. And no friend should want to see you like this for their own amusement.”
You swallow hard, still holding onto his arm tightly. Of course you know that he’s right, that your “friends” aren’t suppose to treat you this way. But you’d never say it out loud, would never confront them.
“Hey, what’s your name?”
His voice catches your attention just before you start to panic over another set of creepy dolls laughing in the corner, his arm moving you closer to him.
“Don’t look at them. Look at me.”
When you gaze up at him again, his world stops spinning for a minute. You really seem to trust him, your hands still intertwined with his arm, your body firmly pressed against his side. You look so lovely, seem like such a nice person. It becomes more and more personal to get you out of here.
“I’m sure we are close to the exit. Focus on me, okay?”
“My name is (y/n)”, you suddenly blurt out.
“I’m Megumi Fushiguro. Nice to meet you (y/n).”
Out of his mouth, your name sounds so relaxing, so melodic. His calm voice really suits the ocean of his dark blue eyes that never break contact with yours even though he walks down the hallway with you by his side.
“I think this is the last door.”
With a swift motion, he opens it. Slowly but surely his features get light up by lantern light, the cries and screams from the amusement park ringing in your ears again. You take a look around you.
He really did it.
You made your way out of the tunnel of horror.
“Thank you so much for helping me out”, you mutter, pulling him into a tight hug before you are able to stop yourself.
What would have happened if he didn’t find you, if he didn’t keep a cool head and lead you through the right doors? You rest your head against his broad chest, heartbeat calming down completely. How lucky you are to have met him.
“Oh – uh…No problem at all”, he mutters.
Megumi has to tell himself over and over to keep a straight face, to not allow himself to turn redder than the devil himself. But you hold onto him so tightly, so thankful for nothing but the fact that he guided you out of a haunted house.
“Who’s that girl, Fushiguro?”
You let go of him immediately, eyes darting towards a girl with short brown hair coming your way while dragging a pink-haired boy behind her like a bag of trash.
“After you left me alone in there, I met (y/n) and she helped me finding a way out.”
“Nice to meet you (y/n)!”, the other boy greets you instantly, a kind grin plastered on your face.
“Oh, you shouldn’t have helped him, Fushiguro fits just right in a tunnel of horror”, the girl comments dryly.
“There you are! We thought the clowns already ate you up!”
Oh no, not now, not in front of him and his friends. You want to sprint away, to hide yourself from your “friends”. But instead, all you can do is stare blankly why both of them approach you with a toxic smile.
“Is this what you consider funny? Dragging (y/n) in there and leaving her alone even though you know she’s scared?”
Megumi’s body tenses up immediately as he positions himself between you and the other girls. They really have some nerves, approaching you like this after what they did. There is no way he’ll let them get away with that.
“Huh? Who the hell are you and why would you care?”
“Because I was scared as well and (y/n) helped me to find a way out.”
He glimpses at you for the split of a second. It’s more than crystal clear that he’s lying. You need to stand up for him, defend him, tell them the truth.
“Oh, you’re braver than I thought (y/n)”, one of them mutters.
“Yeah…Well…We see each other tomorrow, okay? Bye?”
And with that, they disappear into the evening, their awkward walk leaving you speechless for a second.
“Promise me you’ll never let them treat you like this again”, he finally speaks up again.
“I…I promise….”
“Can you just give her your number so that we’re able to grab something to eat? I’m starving”, the girl next to him complains.
“Yeah, I’m super hungry as well!”
“Can’t you just shut up for a minute?”, Megumi hisses under his breath.
“But…would you mind giving me your number?”
-Bonus-
"Megumi-chan!"
His steps quicken in an instant, carrying down the hallway of Jujutsu High at high tempo. If there's one thing he's not in the mood for right now, it's definetely Gojo-sensei. Itadori and Kugisaki probably told him ever little thing about you.
"There's no running for me. Tell me, who's the girl you've been with today?"
He can't help but roll his eyes, the wide grin on his teacher's face simply driving him insane.
"I just met her today", he mumbles in response.
"Don't forget to use protection, I don't wanna be a grand-"
"CAN YOU JUST SHUT UP"

New Gen Cobra Gang! Mean!Miguel & Mean!Hawk
Tumblr media
(Unedited) (Support The Writer🌺) (Bullying, Kyler and his group bullying Reader, Mean!Miguel & Mean!Hawk kinda Bully’s???, Smut, Double Penetration/Double Stuffing, Degradation, Slightly Rough Sex, Public/Car Sex, lot of “Whore” calling💀,) ( @gemini-sensei , @may-moskowitz , @miguelnation )
🌺✨ Reader is new and starts school around the same time that Miguel did. She's isn't too shy but she is a bit submissive. In her case being a bit more naturally submissive goes against her the first few weeks of school. People start to take notice about how she shys away or let's people walk over her more then others. Sadly it's the bad kids of the school who see this.
🌺✨ The bullies of the school are quick to target her out and use this against her. Taking advantage of her nice and submissive traits. But as the weeks go by they get tired of it. Pushing her around to get what they want was only entertainment for so long. After a while they wanted something different, something new. So they start bullying her out right. They push, shove, and even kick her. They use every insult they can, from her chubby body to her introverted nature.
🌺✨Everyone gets a peak at the constant bullying they put her under. They poke her, push her up against walls, and even on occasion slap her ass in the hallway. She yelps and shivers at their every move around her. She admits that they scare her. She sees what they do to some of the other kids at school as well. Sometimes she try’s to ignore it and thinks she at least gets treated slightly better then some of the other kids that the group bully’s on a daily basis.
🌺✨It’s weeks until the bully slowly starts to settle down. It never stops but most of the group that messes with her doesn’t come at her as frequently as they use to. It all started when her main bully, Kyler, ended up getting into a fight in the lunch room with some kid. Then it escalated and later that month Kyler came back with half his face smashed in covered in cuts and bruises. Reader felt a huge sigh of relief leave her. She believed that this would be a sign that Kyle would stop messing with her for a while as he sorted out his own bully situation.
🌺✨Reader was wrong because not even a week after Kyler came back to school all messed up, he was messing with her again. This time even worse then before. He was shoving her around more to the point she was having bruises pop up everywhere. Her bones ached when he pushed her into the hard metal lockers in the hall.
🌺✨Everything changed when she ended up paired with, Eli or better know as Hawk and his friend Miguel. Both of them kept to themselves but there was a vibe around both of them. Something telling Reader that they where bad, something in her said they where possible just as bad as Kyler. But she couldn’t put her finger on it. As she worked with them she started to see both of them for what they where, both of them where snarky and easily angered. Hawk was pretty good and manipulating situations to his liking. Miguel was a bit over the top and mouthy. Both of them where straight up mean. They didn’t target her like Kyler did but they did say rude and mean things to her. They where more handsy too and didn’t seem to get personal space. But Reader couldn’t deny she kinda likes it, she actually grew to like the attention and rough touches.
🌺✨On multiple occasions she saw both boys messing with other students around the school. Most of the kids they messed with here also assholes, some bully’s, some jerks, a few narcs. But that didn’t take away how cruel they could be. During lunch Miguel threw a tray of sloppy mash potatoes at a kid, drenching him in it. She walked down the hall once’s and heard Hawk talking to someone before a toilet flushed and someone started to watery scream. Another time she saw them both smirk while walking passed a graffiti covered locker with “bitch” written in red spray paint.
🌺✨Things really took a turn when one day while Reader was in the library, Kyler and his goons jumped her. She was trying to grab a book off a shelf when he came up behind her. He grabbed her and threw her to the ground. It was probably shock that made her not yell out. The next minute she is being dragged across the floor by her shirt. Kyler snickers and laughs with his friends. She thrashes around trying to get him to let go of her shirt but nothing works. She finally yelps when she is being half chocked by her own shirt as she hauled up to her feet. Moments later she’s being pushed back and slams into a trash can. Eyes wide as she falls straight into the open can. She’s stuck.
🌺✨ “What the fuck are you doing Kyler?!” “Teaching the fat pig a lesson that’s all. Why don’t you two fuck off.”
Hawks voice cuts in making her shiver. Her ears are full of static at this point. She doesn’t have time to collect herself because suddenly the trash can is being pushed over. She falls to the floor inside the can but is able to wiggle herself out. Tears start to fill her vision as she successfully gets out of the right space. She fails to get up, her legs and back to sore from being stuffed into the metal trap. Moments later age is being pulled up forcefully by her arm.
“We called dibs on her and you know it!”
“Technically I was messing with her first so she’s mine.”
“Fuck off Kyler!”
Miguel's voice was raised from a few feet away, Hawk was pulling her up. For a minute she thought they were just trying to be nice and help her out. She was dead wrong because the next minute Hawk was literally kicking her in the ass. Miguel was already swinging when Hawk was pushing and kicking her out of the library.
🌺✨Outside of the library Hawk pulls her down the hall near one of the bathrooms. Pushinh her up between the bathroom door and a locker. She was out a whimper as her back hits the hard wall behind her. Bottom lip trembles as she looks up at Hawk. She can't tell if she is going to get the same treatment that Miguel was giving Kyler back in the library.
“Next time Kyler and those little shit heads of his try touching you, you come to me or Miguel. I thought we made it clear to everyone that we are the only ones that get to fuck with you. Clearly the message wasn't clear enough.”
“W-What-”
A moment later Hawk was kissing her, hard on the lips. She moaned as the blue haired boy kissed her. The kiss was messy and sloppy but made her head go fuzzy. Hawk liked her? Miguel liked her? This was news to her. She couldn't deny that she might have feelings for the two delinquents but she never thought they might have similar feelings for her.
They separated as they both needed air. Hawk was quick to go back in but this time going for her soft neck. Sucking fat hickeys into her skin, her eyes fluttered at the sensation.
“Hey you could have waited for me before getting started on marking our territory~” Miguel’s voice cuts through the air.
From that day on both boys were always on her ass. Be it messing with her or messing with her~
Tumblr media
“Miguel......”
Reader hisses as Miguel slaps her ass for the third time that day. The only difference was that this time they were locked away in Hawk’s car out in the school parking lot. Hawl was currently smirking as he helped to rip her panties off. She wants to yelp when the material is shredded when the boy completely rips it from her thighs and crotch. She doesn’t have the nerve to say anything once it’s thrown onto the car floor.
The article of clothing completely destroyed.
Miguel just smirks from under her, his big hands moving to squeeze her fat ass cheeks and spread them wide open for Hawk.
“Fucking bitch, your already dripping for us like some whore. You wanted a booty call today didn't you? You wanted up to come dick you down during lunch huh? Don't act all shy about it.” Hawk's fingers rub through her slowly moistening folds. Her lower lips started to get wet from all the attention. Her hole starts to drool the more Hawk messes with her. Thick fingers starting to thrust into her and her legs shake.
She clenches around him as he slams his fingers right into her gspot over and over again. She moans and closes her eyes, unable to look down at Miguel. She knew he was looking right up at her, studying her face for every little movement. He chuckles which vibrates through her whole body.
He pulls harder on her ass saying in almost a whisper “You're not going to answer him? Awe I thought we were training you better than that. And you better open those eyes and look at me.” he jerks her up making her let out a high pitch yelp.
The next minute he licked up her neck and sucked at her collarbone.
Her eyes roll as she feels Hawk help to unzip Miguel’s jeans and pull his dick out from his boxers. He's already hard and twitching once Hawk helps to guide him though her fat wet folds. The tip hits her clit just right and makes her clench her thighs.
Seconds later his tip is pushing at her twitching entrance, popping into her tight channel. She moans out as he slides home. He bottoms put right against her cervix just right.
He's thrusting up into her with the help of Hawk who helps guide her over his thick cock.
Within a few minutes she's already dripping down his balls. Fat cunt pulsating, and clenching around him like a vice. Long thick drags out of her. She whines into his shoulder as he slaps her ass again, making her shake it for Hawk.
It's not long before the other boy is whipping out his fat cock and jerking it. He bites his lip as he shoves hid thumb into her tight hold, brushing against Miguel in the process.
“Fat bitch is already ready for another dick. You really where ready for us. Hope you like being double stuffed bitch.”
With the help of his thumb he lines himself up next to Miguel and pushes in slowly. They meet with a hard warm friction that has them both groaning out. Hawo bottoms out right next to Miguel, both of them sitting in the tight warmth of the chubby girl's pussy. Hawk takes her hips in his hand and squeezes her soft sides and rolls. He uses them for leverage as he starts moving her back against her. Her ass slapped against him.
Soon enough she was squealing out and rocking back and forth on the two guys. Their dicks buried inside her.
It was only a few minutes later that Hawk was pulling at the roots of her hair with one hand as both him and Miguel stuffed her cunt full of their load. She killed them for ever drop they had. It spilled out between their cocks and drooled down Miguel’s tight balls. Both of them jerking into her filled with pleasure as they dumped they heavy loads into her.
Ever so slowly they pulled out of her used raw hole. Cum spilling out in waves as her walls spasmed, now empty except for thick layer of milky white.
“Stupid bitch, bet you can’t wait until tonight.”
“We’re going to take you out after lessons at the dojo. Get you stuffed with some good food before we pound that sweet cunt again. Stuff you full with out fat nut all over again.”

You want more Dadzawa you said right? Aizawas sees students accidentally or purposely mislabeling NB! Reader as a female cuz reader is AFAB and he notices reader looks sad whenever someone says "she's so pretty", "she's adorable", "she's too perfect!" But reader has told aizawa they're preferred pronouns. -Shuu
ofc!
Masterlist<3
Aizawa x Enby!Student!Reader (Platonic) - Misgendered
Tumblr media
"You're so pretty! Isn't she so pretty?!"
You can't help but feel a little dejected at the complement, Mina's loud, energetic and enthusiastic voice filling the room, accidentally misgendering you in the process. Aizawa looks up from his papers at his desk, giving you an unreadable look.
A forced smile presses at your lips while you fight the dysphoria, rationalising it in your head by telling yourself that you haven't gotten around to telling everyone yet. Yet, part of you is a little disappointed that you don't look as enby as you feel.
Your teacher notices this easily, bothered by the saddened flash in your eyes that noone picks up on, and he feels bothered that one of his students is facing such a problem on their own. Aizawa is the only person that knows out of the entire class full of people, because you had opened up about why you'd been distracted and unhappy for the few days before. From then, he made it his mission to bring the class closer together and encourage teamwork to show you that you have friends who won't see you as anything different.
"Aw.. t-thank you, Mina... I guess we could be two pretty best friends, huh?~"
Mina's cheeks go pink... Well, more pink than they were already. She's blushing and it's absolutely adorable. Flirting and complementing others is your love language after all, and you definately think she's one of the prettiest people you've ever met. She has the heart of an angel too, it's just a shame that you don't know how to come out to her and tell her that you're non-binary. It really sucks.
Aizawa looks at you dryly as you shamelessly flirt with everyone in the class, his eye twitching as he deadpanns, an expression on his face that seems to say something along the lines of "kids these days..."
He huffs and continues with his teaching, separating your little group as the break ends and carrying on with the lesson, planning on pulling you aside after class to talk about what happened.
Though to his surprise, you had come to him of your own accord after everyone had filed out of the room and he doesn't even have time to speak before you're interrupting him.
"I want to come out... I- Can i make an announcement during our next period?"
"... It's rude to interrupt your teacher, problem child. Yes, you can make an announcement. Is this about Mina's comment earlier?..."
You pout as he gives you the same monotone voice and stares straight into your soul, nodding your head and feeling yourself deflate a little as he still reprimands you for interrupting him and flirting during class.
"Jeez, i get no special treatment, huh? Not even for your favourite resident creature? Damn."
Your sensei can't stop himself from chuckling at your antics as you hang your head down in an act of disappointment, shooing you away and telling you to go and hang out with your friends.
By the time next period rolls around, it finally dawns on you just how scared you are to actually come out for real, and you almost entertain the thought of backing out until you make up your mind at the sight of Izuku and Kirishima being absolute cinnamon rolls. There's no way such kind hearted, genuine heros could have any kind of prejudice in their heart. What were you even thinking?
That's it. You're gonna tough up and face it. So when you stand up in front of the class as they all file in, you ignore their curious and confused looks and spill your secret.
"Uh- guys? Sorry, I just wanted to say something- uhm... Im enby, a-and my pronouns are they/them. I've felt this way for a while now... and i'm sorry it took a while for me to say anything..."
With that, you stay quiet, anxiously waiting for any kind of reaction until you hear Kirishima and Denki interrupting eachother with words of encouragement, though you don't really understand because they're speaking at the same time and you're getting confused. A small smile plays at your lips as Mina nearly knocks over her desk to embrace you, squealing as you almost fall down, excited and encouraging chatter erupting in the room while Aizawa looks on with the tiniest smile.
None of you know just how proud he is of this class. And he decides that you never will because brats don't get that kind of positive reinforcement from him. He's oviously going to keep working you all to the bone and making sure you all suffer for being problem children. But for now, he can be proud, and watch on with hidden relief while you get flooded with reassurance.

Two geniuses that despite their intellect and skill are black sheep in their clans. Two isolated kids that latch onto each other during the academy and absolutely refuse to let go.
Their friendship with a “rival dojutsu clan member” alienating them even further from their own families.
Them graduating early and being placed on the genin team of the White Fang, a man who’s skill overshadowed the Sannin while in his prime (aka rn).
Them meeting a little baby kakashi and secretly making him their team mascot (Sakumo thinks it’s hilarious and his face eyes get suspiciously watery when the Uchiha huffs at how Sakumo holds the baby like a puppy and holds him himself)
Their team being like a family even after they’re all Jonin. The third teammate abandoning them after Sakumo’s mission and distancing from them all. Sakumo’s depression getting even worse because not only is it his comrades, but someone from the team he trained since they were scrappy little pups chasing at his heels.
The three of them getting into an argument that Sakumo overhears about their public connection to him putting their careers and reputations at risk. The Uchiha and the Hyuga telling the third to fuck off because who cares about a reputation when their father figure/ sensei is so clearly hurting.
The third teammate renouncing ties from the team in shame then defecting from Konoha entirely when the scorn doesn’t stop.
The hokage assigning the Uchiha and Hyuga to track their teammate down and bring them back dead or alive.
The two of them trying so goddamn hard to bring the person back alive but accidentally killing them when they throw themselves on a combo attack when it becomes clear they won’t win.
Them having to bring the body back and tell Sakumo. Sakumo who kills himself maybe a week later as the argument plays on repeat in his head. Connection to him only brought death, scorn, and grief. They’re all better off with him gone.
A Hyuga who cannot hold himself apart no matter how hard he tries. Who stands up and asks the uncomfortable questions about why their clan is split in two and how the caged bird seal, the forced servitude of their own family, makes them any better than the people who would steal their eyes after their deaths. Who always is a bit rumpled and too loud and too much for the straight laced people around him.
An Uchiha who turns to love rather than hate. Who constantly had a pack of younger kids (both clan and not) following at his heels from a young age. Who mastered the fireball jutsu so young but with no one there to see him do it. Who could be found teaching younger kids how to hold a kunai when he “should have been training”. Who woke his sharingan earlier than anyone had ever heard of after the death of his parents.
Both of them who latched onto each other the moment they met.
The both of them who learn the ins and outs of each other and compensate for it in every aspect of their lives. (The Uchiha who gets armored wrist guards added to his gear so he can block the Hyuga’s blind spot and is always half a step behind the Hyuga just in case. The Hyuga who after the death of Sakumo wakes the Uchiha’s Mangekyo Sharingan learns to help compensate for the eventual vision loss and the other side effects.)
The both of them who are the ones that find Kakashi and Sakumo after everything, with their hands still tacky with the phantom blood of their once family member killed at their hands, and have to figure out how to help a child when their own hearts are shattering. Who have to get Kakashi cleaned and the body prepared because they can’t trust anyone else to give either of them the honor and care they deserve. Who, when Kakashi says he wants to keep the clan house, take it upon themselves to take out the footing in Sakumo’s room and replace it so Kakashi doesn’t have to see it again.
Who are still kids in their own rights that are so fucking lost and scared but there’s a war on and they have to carry on.
Who check every body post battle to make sure the other isn’t among them until the other finds them.
Who swear to each other that if it comes down to it they will destroy each other’s eyes rather than let them fall into enemy hands.
Who trade eyes on a battlefield because they would trust no one else with it.
Who see kakashi come back carried in Minato’s arms passed out from chakra exhaustion and fear the worst before he tells them what happened.
Who stay with him, the last part of their sensei. Their baby brother. The kid they’ve been raising the last few years with Minato as a weird third coparent. Splitting their time in the hospital and refusing to go back out on a mission until he wakes up so Kakashi doesn’t have to be alone.
Who help Kakashi get used to life with essentially only one eye, accustomed to the adjustments they need to make from when the Hyuga first started to get used to his sharingan and offering what they learned the hard way so freely so Kakashi doesn’t have to go through the same painful trial and error that they did.

As a trans woman, I've obviously had many trans woman friends. Many of them have told me about how people suddenly disliked them after transitioning, and obviously I'm aware of the big groomer scare whipped up by far right bigots. I could never really relate to those issues on a personal level though, until I read Houseki No Kuni and saw how the fandom reacts to Cairngorm.
Reading the manga for the first time, I started to feel like I was reading my own story. Like Ichikawa had written my life, and yes that includes realizing that I was trans thanks to a creepy partner. And Ichikawa gave me a happily ever after! The character most like me gets everything I could ever want! (My ex wasn't even rich, popular, smart, or pretty)
Then I looked for what other fans think, and they fucking HATE it! They despise the happiness she gets, to the point of trying to avoid or deny it by making up grooming conspiracies and acting like she's the absolute worst character ever written. They wish she never transitioned, never got to be her true self. People will bring her up out of nowhere just to complain that she even exists.
On a certain level, I do get it. The moment is meant to be jarring. The story of HNK is that of Phos always almost finding what they wanted, then losing it at just the last minute. Their partner meets this skeezy guy they've been trying to deal with, then suddenly changes everything about herself to date him and starts being way more mean and yes, even a bit selfish.
Rather than accept and try to process this intentionally sudden shift, it seems most of the fandom has just gone hard into denial. It's like... Did you people even read the same manga as me? Do you not see how much happier she is living more feminine? Not perfectly happy, she's VERY often horrified, annoyed, and frustrated by things Aechmea says/does. But she's also happy a large portion of the time. UNLIKE with Phos, where she was almost always blatantly miserable. She was suicidal! Again, as a trans woman that's a VERY familiar feeling!!!
The negative reactions she gives Aechmea are actually very strong evidence against him completely manipulating every aspect of her personality btw. She shows NO hesitation in telling him off, insulting him, and doing things he doesn't want. Not exactly the hallmarks of someone whose entire identity and personality is the product of grooming or abuse, are they?
The fact that he kept her old arm and built her a super-shielded safehouse proves that he really loved her. Their entire relationship was not a ploy to pit her against Phos. Keeping the arm was a purely sentimental act that provides NO value in manipulation, and if anything risked pushing her away from how creepy it was.
Similarly, the eye replacements weren't mind control, because if you wanna start making assumptions like that then we can go all day just making up stuff that just straight up didn't happen in the story. Maybe the moon is made of cheese at that point.
Anyways Sensei Kongo LITERALLY groomed the gems but I don't see anyone denying the evident personalities of the others.

Hagio Moto's Onshitsu (1975)
As the crappiest translator of all times, even I want to do something to bring 1970s manga to a wider audience. I'm too scared to get into those long-ass shoujo epics, I'm not sure if I can last through not so long-ass shoujo manga, and some manga simply terrify me because I'm afraid I can't translate them with my language skills and lack of culture. For the time being, I tried my hand at translating this Hagio Moto one shot from 1975, and my lovely group, Decadence Scans, helped me get this out into the world <3 Click here or here to read it. I'd like to thank Kanedian, Roze and Attolia again for indulging me and working on this story. But I still need to gush over this manga a little bit more.
Tumblr media
Hug the otouto. This is so beautiful that I can look at these panels for hours.
I've liked Hagio Moto ever since I read Zankoku na Kami ga Shihai Suru, and been meaning to read more of her. The problem is, I'm very lazy and have read so little so far. I'm basic and as I was looking through MU to choose a Hagio title to read, and Onshitsu piqued my interest. Because it checks two boxes: It's by Hagio, and it's BL. I've always read about the bishounen culture of the 70s, but I know so little about the actual BL works from that period. I checked Hagio-sensei's fan site, and this site in English that is full of old shoujo we'll never see, and bought the relevant one shot collection. (By the way, buying JP e-books is easy. Do it even if you don't speak Japanese and support the mangaka. How can you say you love them if you don't even buy their books?)
Tumblr media
Onshitsu is basically about MC's cute step-otouto getting mindfucked by some weird-ass rose-spirit-thing. Onshitsu hits all those sweet 70s shoujo spots: European setting, blond bishounen, /fa/ bishounen, onii-san, bishounen tears, innocent kisses, creating drama while things could be solved through communication just so they can do dramatic poses, gratiutious references to Greek mythology, rich people, smart people, mystery, suffering, a shit ton of roses and other floral arrangements, bad ends, emotional conclusions... Couple that with Hagio-sensei's magnificent page layouts, and you get a very enjoyable read. This is not the best manga or anything, but I think it reflects pretty well the tastes of that time period. I mean, this is the kind of stuff I wanted to read to understand how BL tones became a thing in shoujo manga during the 1970s.
Later, I got Alois, the one shot compilation it was first published in too! I can't wait to read it. Here's the first page of Onshitsu with the dustjacket of the volume.
I can talk about every panel in this manga, but allow me talk about a couple panels/pages I really, really liked:
Tumblr media
I had to stop and say "WOW!" on this page when I first read this manga. The way she drew Lange and the spirit's hair and bodies all entwined like that is very aesthetic and sensual. You can feel the intimacy, but no vulgarity. I particularly like those very thicc lines on the middle left part of the page. I feel so doki doki when I can see how the artist must have drawn something through the lines.
Tumblr media
I think it's about José's straight, long hair and the way he holds Lange's head, but the kiss above is very cute. And the flare pants.
Tumblr media
I like the despair-ridden José here very much. And these lines sound 2000% better in Japanese than I could do them justice. Seriously, I hope I didn't screw this up too much while translating, but no one ever touches this stuff. I felt like I had to do something.
My pilgrimage to the 1970s for more BL-flavored shoujo will be long and arduous, but I will continue. I hope this little contribution makes someone happy.

But recently they paid me with a 20 dollar bill they found somewhere. So I decided to buy them some more expensive bread. They loved it. So they understand what to do. Give me money. I’ve probably racked up about 200 dollars at this point. Is it morally wrong though, I mean. They’re the ones who steal the money from others. Or perhaps they just have a big pile laying somewhere. Should I keep on doing this? Master Michelangelo : You sound like the start of a Batman villain.
— 😮☝️😐✊
Casey, about Master Michelangelo: They're speaking some kind of French. Sensei Leonardo: Let me handle it. I speak Spanish. It's the same thing.
— Themb
Sensei Leonardo: Is there something you would like to say, Donnie? Uncle Donnie: Oh, there are SEVERAL things I would like to say.

I'd have to ask, for the meme: both Anko and Shizune 🧡
Shizune
one aspect about them i love
That through her life she has learned to stand her ground up against one of the stringest personalities in the show. Where other’s crack, Shizune refuses to budge. Other’s get scared of Tsunade’s anger and shizune gets an awkward sort of laugh most of the time cuz she’s just used to this
one aspect i wish more people understood about them
I don’t think Shizune is talked enough about for me to answer this question
But ummm, Ya fandom needs to remember she’s Dan’s niece and thus by extension Tsunade’s psuado-niece (would be niece if her and dan had the opportunity to marry)
Give us more Auntie Tsunade content good and bad!
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character
She has a mischievous streak because she has never been allowed to openly act out so she needs some sort of escape from the straight laced organized one.
It’s why she loves calling Kakashi ‘lord sixth’
It bugs the troll and it’s delightful
one character i love seeing them interact with
Kakashi. They’re just so chill and cool together
one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more
Sakura. SHOW US SHIZUNE TEACHING SAKURA ABOUT POISON KISHI
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have that involve them and one other character
Shizune and Anko always vent about their Sensei’s together. Anko is usually listening to Shizune complain but sometimes a memory hits and Anko joins in because Orochimaru was an ARSE
Anko
one aspect about them i love
Relentlessly creepy in all of the best ways. Love that for her
one aspect i wish more people understood about them
She does not have to have a child for her relationship with any dude to be valid
Ummm oh hard, i’d say maybe that while Anko was right to want Sasuke removed from the chunin exam’s (or the exams cancelled) she was not the only one right in the argument. Kakashi had his reason’s for arguing for Sasuke (and it was for sasuke. Sasuke was upset Naruto beat Gaara over him or that Itachi seemed more interested in naruto than him. His own BROTHER. If he found out he was being removed from the exams while no one else was he would have imploded)
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character
She chose to go into the acadamy as a Sensei after the war because it was the first way she thought of getting out of the field. It took zero arguing to get the job switch. As soon as she asked it was approved and it was the best decision she made. She got an opportunity to get out if the field after being a POW and do something she loves.
one character i love seeing them interact with
I don’t think we see her actually interact with people outside of Kakashi, Hiruzen, Orochimaru and kabuto tbh. Does she ever talk to another woman in the manga?????
Urge ummmmm Kakashi 😂😂😂
one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more
Shizune! They have something to bond over let them BOND (they have TWO things to bond over not letting them bond is illegal)
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have that involve them and one other character
Her and Rin used to train together after their team’s had broken up for the day. Anko had found Rin training one day late into the afternoon and asked to join because all the other training fields were being used by people she didn’t want to share them with. Rin happily agreed and found a really cool new friend out of the deal

@multianime said:  ❛ if you take care of everyone, who takes care of you? ❜ Tsuyu to Ochako / prompted.
Tumblr media
the question leaves ochako without an answer. tsu was always so.. prompt. and well, blunt. she got straight to a point, often seeing things in her friends that many others did not. more than anyone, aside from her parents or mina, it was probably tsu that knew ochako best.
which is why, when tsu speaks up, the question leaves the young gravity hero perplexed. really, she’s not sure she even has an answer. tilting her head away from tsu’s questioning gaze, a hand runs through short brunette waves uncertainly. “ eh? well. i.. ” she frowns, still unable to look tsu in the eye.
Tumblr media
it takes her a few moments to even come up with something to say. when she does, ochako bows her head, and her bangs cover hazel eyes. “ i.. don’t really have an answer. ” she starts with a shrug of tired shoulders, as if letting a large weight fall off of them. “ deku’s well-- he’s got a lot going on! iida has en entire class to worry about! mina.. well, she’s just busy, i guess and-- ” ochako looks up hesitantly, “ well, you and i have been busy with ryukyu-sensei and our work study.. so.. ” ochako shakes her head. “ but.. i guess, i don’t really need someone to.. take care of me? i mean.. not anymore.. ”
she looks off across the room, somehow, she felt smaller in the living room now. even if it was just the both of them in it. her gaze grows solemn as ochako pulls her knees to her chest and wraps her arms around them on the sofa. with a heavy breath, she starts again. “ this past year, i think i’ve grown quite a bit. i didn’t wanna be that weak and scared little girl anymore, y’know? not when everyone else in our class is so.. strong. somewhere along the way, i’m not sure when it was, but-- i just, stopped being scared. and.. started taking action. ”
Tumblr media
ochako lifts her head to look at tsu once more, and this time ochako has a smile on her face. “ i just want to help people, my friends included. with everything going on, i just hate seeing everyone so upset.. and it’s so easy to let the weight of it all get to you! so.. if i can help, in any way, i will. so.. i guess, i kinda take care of me too, huh? ” she laughs and tilts her head. “ but uh, hey tsu? i’m very grateful to you, too. thanks for always being there and having my back! i’m so glad that you’re my friend. ”

Yknow I’m finishing the last 2 episodes of HoT tonight & am prepared to either go straight into the Oni Trilogy afterwards but there’s something about Episode 8 that I wanted to note!
(( Long rambles abound ))
I think I’ve heard a few people describe Kai’s behavior as very much jumping to conclusions when he faces off against Ray with knowledge of his parents’ alleged betrayals — and I do 100% agree Kai tends to be brash. Versus Nya’s behavior, in holding Kai back to get him to listen to their father.
But I think from the perspective of both Kai, it kinda makes sense why!
Like for Nya, since she likely wasn’t old enough at the time to directly know their parents, it’s understandable she’d want to her out her father because this is the first time she’s honestly seen or heard from him.
On the other hand, Kai’s personally grown up with both parents while he’s at an age to be conscious of his need for them & attachment as a young child who misses them. There’s a LOT of trauma in realizing your parents weren’t gone the whole time, that they were out there and just left you behind to do something else — something that wasn’t what happened but very much so was skewed to appear so. So likely the thought going through his mind would be ‘You weren’t there for us when we needed in order to do things for the people actively harming us?’ I thought that might be interesting to note.
We got a super nifty fight scene out of that so I’ll add that to my collection of cool Kai moments lololol.
Other HoT ending notes:
- The fusion dragon was absolutely EPIC! And a boiling sea that works with a master of fire & master of water???! That’s such a neat concept!!! These things make me wished that the season could’ve been implemented better bc HoT had such huge potential (I prob won’t criticize anything tho cause I feel other people wrote a lot over the flaws more eloquently!).
- Ray and Maya were pretty great for the short time they were there, but I have really mixed feelings on bringing them back. It was such a huge part of the beginnings for awhile — the siblings starting off alone in the Pilots, Chen holding the backstories of Kai’s parents over himself, then finally both siblings grieving in DotD with a beautiful scenes & the foreshadowing of their parents’ backstories when Kai wonders if they’ll ever figure out what happened. All of that was just implemented so well!
I heard alternate ideas proposed from those who thought the set up for an arc where Ray & Maya were actually evil would give a lot to explore. That’d definitely be interesting for sure!
But of my own personal preferences, I really liked them being on the good side but the issue stemming from a distortion of perspective obscuring the actual events & intention. And just overall the idea of them being dead but the story being years later, where Kai & Nya get to the bottom of things and unwrap what actually happened. Now that they’re back, and it might be hard for the show to fit them into the plot when they’re established as extremely important.
In a sense, I kind of worry about getting that same feeling for Lord/Sensei Garmadon the next season too. I already know what happens so I’m just bracing myself for it >~<.
Lastly, for the next season:
I can’t wait to finally get to watch the things I’m curious about the most!
In a jumbled list — I really want to see the implementation of Pixal as the new Samurai X, Skylor’s reappearance & role (& just more into how her powers work if she uses them!), the arc with Sensei Wu developing with the ninja, Nya-Lloyd dynamic, Karloff returning (omg - I LOVE them bringing back other elemental masters!!), and the Mr. E rivalry with Zane (the Echo Zane theories I’ve read are so exciting!!!).
I’m a bit scared though because the Kai character assassinations begin along with this marking the point of many people not being able to see Garmadon the same again :(. So I hope the good skill of the writers makes up for that bc I know this show does a lot with all of the elements surrounding it!
Aaaaaaa I have so many thoughts my brain won’t let me sleep 😭

I've been thinking about these 3 alot...
Tumblr media
... and how much they seem to really respect Shino. I know it's a filler, but, like... Why does it seem like Shino has a knack for finding children who have wondered off away from school? Like, he's just taking a walk, making his way around the village or surrounding forest, and then there they are. Kids playing hooky or some shit. And Shino just takes it upon himself to approach them and steer them back to where they should be, while getting them attached to him somehow in the process??
But honestly. If this was just one of many times this had happened, I'd say Shino does this not out of his knack for teaching or having a way with kids. Rather, he developed a way with kids and easily applies that to his teaching because he has a strong desire to simply protect children. And it's not even from some paternal instinct as much as survival, because I think it stems from the developing trauma of losing Torune to Danzo. And I don't think it's all subconscious either.
Like I know the novel and anime frames his desicion to teach as a sort of a new goal in life as the war has ended for a couple years already and a noticable Peace has been achieved by the Blank Period and well... He's an Aburame.
Like, the Aburame are literal living, breathing, walking bioweapons. With no fight to utilize that, what else is there? Well, much like the Nara have the Nara forest and Pharmacology specifically, The Aburame most likely have a historical stake in the area of Konoha, perhaps it was simply in their Ancestral Home. Idk, but they're here to stay, they ain't budging. They're Clan Culture is very Martial and I'd argue Spartan in nature, but otherwise, they do other things too. I think they'd do well as major players in the conservation and research of native species of animals and plants, but definitely insects too. I bet they play a huge part in the general area's ecosystem, especially due to the fact that the Kamizuru clan attacked with a whole clan's worth of non-native Hymenoptera that could very well have become and still are an irritatingly and consistent problem as invasive species tend to be. And as a far as goods go, why not put some of them to use and handle an apiary? Honey is a great good to sell. All of this is great as a clan that no longer needs to fight. But, what about individual members in general, and so Shino?
Well Shino is the Heir of this clan. This Noble Clan. This "ready to throw hands at any moment" clan. It's future is in his hands, so to speak. So I doubt Shino would completely sever his connection to Shinobi life all together. And so, teaching at the Academy would be a great way to keep that connection. Teachers have to know their stuff, after all.
But what if in order to ensure teaching was his calling, Shino did his absolute best to make Jounin ASAP so he could take on a Genin Team. And. And by chance, it ended up being these three?? And they are absolutely STOKED!!! And they also pass Shino's genin test, which... would probably be a feat in it's own right. But they already know Shino, and Shino has bestowed upon them some wisdom they actually took to heart! Yeah, well, in reality they might be just a tad too old to be Shino's first official genin squad, but they were still his squad one point in a sense, right?
Tumblr media
Kon Nohara, Tano Ikemoto, and Aoki Kobayashi
I even gave them names help Imagine these three are already chuunin at least and decide they want to pay Shino a visit and even volunteer to help Shino during class time on a collective day off because they admire him so much (T~T)
But even then if not these three kiddos, maybe these three li'l shits lol
Tumblr media
Even in times of Peace, Shino's special set of skills seem too useful to waste, and being a Jounin teacher would definitely have been a way he could still go on missions, but also definitely commit to becoming a Sensei at the academy once he was 100% sure and got older. Kurenai became a Jounin/Genin Squad Leader in her late twenties, but in comparison I see Shino doing that more mid-20s. (He needs some time to travel and find his big bug friend and generally live a little?)
Tumblr media
Kurenai was a Genjutsu Specialist who manned a Tracker/Sensing based team. This sounds like it was a highly beneficial combination, even if she ended up being somewhat sadistic lol. Asuma was bound to Team 10 by Tradition as InoShikaCho and Sarutobi have that Pact together. Kakashi's team was literally Cherry Picked for him specifically by the 3rd Hokage. And Gai, a Taijutsu Specialist, had a team that Specialized in Taijutsu and Physical Offense.
Of all four teams, Kurenai and Gai were very suited to their teams, Gai in a complimentary way and Kurenai in a Challenging way. In that same vein, I think Shino would imitate Gai. Shino as a Shinobi himself has a general set of skills, but the way he goes about them are very niche. But, he was always very stealthy, and could sneak up on nearly anyone. Gags aside, he could go unnoticed as long as he wanted too, and by the time he was noticed or was ready to attack, he has you quite literally surrounded. Honestly I can see why Search and Destroy would be an Aburame's forte, but when there's no need, a person with a personal skill of high quality stealth could probably man a team with an emphasis on Reconnaissance and/or Surveillance, even Bodyguarding. I feel like Shino would probably put an emphasis on Stealth and Tracking too, utilizing his insects as sort of assistants that keep tabs on his students (Stealth Test) as well as to encourage just enough fear during too much down time in his students to inspire quality training opportunities, so maybe Kurenai rubbed off on Shino more than they all realized haha
(Plus I'm sure his students would be be smart and thoughtful enough to eventually understand what Shino and his bugs are: a complete unit. They realize just how strong and dedicated Sensei really is to be the way he is, and they all learn more in depth about Kikaichu and it's like WOW SENSEI YOU REALLY ARE RISKING BEING EATEN ALIVE EVERY SINGLE DAY, AREN'T YOU? But he's still here, because THAT'S how strong he's become over the years and the confidence to manipulate the Kikaichu while having to think of current chakra level, the most efficient use at any given time, how many he actually needs, how long usage will last, ect. They are high maintenance, man!)
Shino would no doubt produce highly skilled Bodyguards and Masters of Stealth. Maybe the type that would end up being in high demand for the eventual Celebrities that start to pop up as times change, but still very much needed when it comes to Criminal Activity, like in Sora-Ku?
But as time passes and he decided to teach at the Academy, he'd feel very at ease to do so. He'd be happy to be put in charge of all these children, because he would be able to help teach them things they need to know to defend themselves and others in a world where adults like Danzo had and will continue to exist. Maybe while he's at it, he'd use his stance as a Noble Clan Heir and accomplished Shinobi to push for changes in government with Sai's help and with Naruto and Shikamaru's cooperation? Like, the truth does come out, everyone on the Council were actually horrible and had too much power. So HERE are some ideas and REASONS why these ideas should be implemented because Shino's not going to let his brother's life and death be in vain!? HELL no, we WILL make some changes around here. Shino sees his students and just wants a future where no kid ever has to live in fear of being completely taken advantage of by the very system that was supposed to keep them safe and they pledged allegiance to.
Tumblr media
I cannot help but think of the quiet but absolute fear little Shino was harboring for the years to come after Torune was taken by that strange man and Father Shibi didn't even attempt to stop him. His own father didn't dare beat the shit out of this strange man who came looking for him, and the only solution for Shino to stay was for Torune to make himself look more desirable as an asset and be taken instead. I bet there was a lot of misplaced resentment there for a while, and talks that just didn't happen. Maybe a classmate doesn't show up to class one day and Shino is IMMEDIATELY stressed out and just... takes it upon himself to look for them after class. And he's relieved when he see they're simply at home with a fever. Shit like that just fucks with Shino, because theres people taking kids and no one is doing anything about it?? And then as Shino grew older he realized exactly what happened and how slimy the machine of Konoha really is and it was never completely Shibi's fault that Torune had to leave. He grows mentally at a faster rate than most of his classmates, and knows more than a kid really needs to know.
Shino doesn't want that for any other child. Shino is the kind of person who hears kids screaming outside of his house and he can't tell if they're playing or being murdered and it's stressful to the point he'll check through his window and he sees them for himself. He get stressed out seeing a kid in public unattended and WANTS to approach them to help if need be but also maybe he's overthinking it and the parents are there somewhere and he'd just end up looking suspicious. Like, that's what I kind of figure for Shino. He's so hyperaware of the power dynamic between kids and adults and seeing a kid so ready to fall victim to that makes Shino feel ill the more he thinks of what could happen. And he wonders if watching the kid in the market until they finally reunite with their parent so he could move on with the rest of his day causes him even a fraction of the the utterly disgusting flurry of nerves and fear that Shibi must have felt all those years ago. It goes along with his desire to spare every single little insect's life he can. It goes a long with the fact he only gets violent unless absolutely necessary. Like he wants to be strong but he doesn't want to go mad with power either, less he becomes the very thing that hurt him and his family in the first place.
Tumblr media
Originally Shino wanted to become strong to be able to defend himself because at a very young age adults failed him and Torune. But then that changes to defend not only himself, but others as he grows on a team, and realizes trust is important. And then he figured if there must be adults out there that would hurt a child, it's only logical that he should become one that would only nurture and teach one to be strong as well.
Anyway, yeah. Had some feelings. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Hello :)
Sukuna. fluff. Pretty please.
Could you write something about sukuna falling for itadori's best friend. You can throw some angst in there too because I am a masochist❤️
Sukuna x F! Reader
Tumblr media
oh god, this turned purely self indulgent halfway through. low key thinking of turning this into a series to give you the angst you deserve.
A/N: (reader is Itadori’s senior and is 18) (loosely inspired by the song “me and my husband” by mitski)
Tumblr media
“And I am the idiot with the painted face
In the corner, taking up space
But when he walks in, I am loved, I am loved”
——-
- You had been one of the few poor senior students who had been victim to what had been Itadori’s “elevator pitch” for more people to join the occult club early back in high school. [the said “elevator pitch” being him jumping out at random people with a white bedsheet over his head saying “boo” as he handed you the club form]
- You didn't end up joining the club. But you somehow did end up getting joined at the hip with the chaotic mess under the white sheet.
- Whether it was you two rushing to the theatre to watch Jennifer Lawrence’s new movie,  or going to a revolving sushi place [only to get pocky from a nearby vending machine instead because revolving sushi is apparently expensive], Itadori Yuuji had become a comforting and very important presence in your life.
- So of course when he suddenly dropped out of your life, being the worried friend you were, you decided to poke around a little only to find out that he was...dead?
- Maybe a few months down the line, you would’ve started to slightly recover from the tragic news you had just gotten. Instead, what you got was your supposedly dead best friend popping up days later to tell you that he ate a finger and now he was the vessel for some centuries old curse,,,
- Um yeah...safe to say that Yuji did not expect you to go into the fit of emotions that you did [boy had the audacity to call you dramatic for fainting and then crying while hugging him once you gained consciousness]
- some time passed and Yuji and you didn’t see each other much with him practically training to be the strongest jujutsu sorcerer. Still, simply happy to have him back alive, your brain managed to convinced itself that everything was still the same.
- And it was when he’d sneak out a day or two from his heavy schedule and you’d be back to your normal routine of watching movies, stuffing your face with snacks, getting your face licked by the mouth on Yuji’s hand…
- ,,,wait what
- The first time the curse had made contact with you was simply out of annoyance of why the stupid brat even took the time to see someone as mundane as you so often.
- His plan was to simply scare you into leaving, knowing it would cause the brat pain.
- So he grabbed the opportunity when Yuji moved forward to brush off some popcorn dust on the side of your mouth, not only licking the side of your face but also being successful in slightly grazing his teeth against your tender skin.
- Yuji had mentioned that being a vessel had caused some weird physical “abnormalities” for him. you didn’t understand it back then but at least knowing that had sort of prepared you for such an instance.
- So imagine the curse’s surprise [and an even further growing annoyance] when your eyes barely widened for a second before you burst into laugher,
“Didn’t you train your dog to not bite?”
- by now, Yuji had jumped 5 feet away from you and was still halfway through his string of apologies, but upon hearing your reaction, he mused on your fake calm while letting out a chuckle himself,
- “Guess I’ve got to get a leash for him”
- By this point, the ever so indifferent curse had taken two teenagers talking about him like a mere annoyance as a personal challenge.
- And that’s how it started.
- He’d come out every now and then, licking your fingers as Yuji passed you something or making lewd remarks on anything and everything that you ever started a conversation about.
- But you and Yuji barely paid him attention and it was an understatement to say that it infuriated the living hell out of him.
- Particularly you, who wouldn’t even be annoyed or sarcastic about his tactics anymore. Instead, treating him like a friend who was simply joining you and the brat to hang out.
- He hated it. Hated how bright your laugh was. Hated how you made them stop every time you saw a stray animal just so you could pet it. Hated how your skin was as soft as a cloud and how you sometimes smelled like cherry blossoms. He’d kill you in an instant if he could ugh.
- it was a weekend and Yuji and you had been watching a movie, even though Yuji was barely paying attention. You knew he was tired as his large frame slumped over your shoulder. Pulling the blanket up to his face, you once again felt the wet feeling of the assaults you had grown familiar with on the side of your hand.
- “You could’ve just asked for a pocky if you wanted one, no need to lick it off my fingers you grumpy little thing”, you laughed as you stood up to go to the bathroom
- that snapped the final string.
- Coming back into your living room, you wondered if Yuji had somehow gotten up in his sleep and managed to draw weird black lines over himself all in the span of 5 minutes.
- ‘Yuji, what the fuck?’
- ‘Well well, now who’s acting like a grumpy little thing’
- The deep voice sent rumbles down your spine and you knew in an instant what had happened.
- Even though your breath hitched in your throat and your body begged for you to run as fast away as you can, you held your ground as you simply tilted your head at the curse
- “Well, I’d like my best friend back if you don’t mind.”
- You saw the smirk on Sukuna’s face falter for just a second before he crossed the space between the couch and you.
- Now as strong of a front as you managed to hold up until now, watching something like that stride straight towards you would have had even the strongest of sorcerers shitting bricks.
- Instinctively, you took a few steps backwards, but he simply continued to close the distance between the two of you until you were backed up against the wall.
- You flinched as he slammed a hand right next to your head and he seemed to gain immense satisfaction from that as he looked down at your startled face with a smirk plastered on his tattooed face.
- Sukuna was sure that you’d be begging for his mercy any second now. His smirk widened and he was ready to mock your pleas as he saw you open your mouth to say something,
- “ ...so much for a damn pocky.”
- All those other times you had caught the curse off guard were nothing compared to the “partially-confused partially-baffled” expression that he held on his face now. It almost made him look human. Almost.
- You didn’t realise just how long you were holding his gaze until Yuji took back control and apologized like a million times over, reassuring you that he would’ve never let you get hurt.
- The curse didn’t show up for almost a week after that. And while you were grateful for not having to wash off your hands or face 14 times a day, you somehow felt anxious about its sudden disappearance.
- All those worries were thrown out the window as he once again showed up while Yuji was passed out on the couch after a particularly tough session with Gojo sensei.
- Looking at the curse, you felt anger more than anything, how could he just drop out on you with no warning and then show up in the middle of your living room- ...wait a second, why the hell are you mad at a literal curse for not telling you he was taking a mental health break or whatever it was that he was doing?
- While you sorted out through these conflicting thoughts in your mind, the curse seemed to be going through a similar crisis.
- Having woken up in the brat’s fragile human body with no warning whatsoever, Sukuna wasn’t in the mood to see your face so soon again. He didn’t know why your physical presence unsettled him so much. All he knew was that he hated it. Even more now that he knew what you looked like all scared and small compared to his vessel’s towering build, and how you smelled even sweeter than what he had tasted, and how despite all that you still had the courage to stand up to someone as dangerous as him. Ugh, disgusting.
- “The stupid brat passed out.”
- Such a simple statement caused you to snap your head up at him. But he didn’t wait for your reaction as he somehow managed to plop down on the couch while still looking graceful. Picking up the half eaten box of pocky, he warily pulled one out, eyeing it as if it was  a poisoned dagger before breaking off a piece and placing it on his tongue.
- “This is what you would risk your life for, brat?”
- He turned his head slightly to look at you still frozen in place, staring at him with that doe eyed look that made his chest burn a little. Isn’t this what he wanted all along?
- “Are you simply going to stand there and gawk? I don’t bite-...well, not unless you ask me to.”
- He knew that would set you right back to your usual self,
 - “...maybe we do need to get a leash after all.”
- Sukuna internally grinned as he saw you move to the other side of the couch, ready to hear whatever more of the snarky comeback that you’d have (not that he was anticipating it, it was just the better alternative to being gaped at. Or so he told himself)
- “You ate the non chocolate covered part of the pocky by the way-”
- “As if a layer of this disgusting brown substance can make the rotten stick taste bette-”
- “Well aren’t sticks all you had to eat in yOuR TiME anyways?”-
—-
- You somehow managed to fall asleep after the bickering, proceeding to sit in silence after you told him to not bother you while you tried to read. You wouldn’t admit it, but you were a little disappointed when he actually didn’t. Instead, he sat on the couch with a slight smirk still plastered on his face, continuing to simply gaze at you. your heart did lunges every time you slyly looked up from your book to take a peak at him. you wondered how many ways he had come up with to kill you so far.
- On the other hand, the curse sat idly, watching you while his thoughts rumbled in his mind. Maybe killing you can be pushed off the agenda for now. There are much better ways to hurt the brat anyways aren't there? Perhaps he could use one of these brownish covered sticks to-...what is he thinking?
- He ultimately deems it stupid brat’s humane emotions and sheer stupidity that must be interfering with his thoughts.
- A loud sneeze snaps him out of his daze as he sees you slumped against a pillow, your book falling off your lap. And then he does something that he immediately decides that he would pretend to have not done for the rest of his existence. Luckily, the brat takes back control right after he does it anyways.
- But that thought slips his mind as he finds himself replaying the serene look on your face as he gently pulled the book out of your hands, and how his hands shook a little as you nuzzled your nose into the fabric of the blanket that he pulled over you. How could you have felt so calm around him?

✄・・・ Feathery Ink [Karasuno Manager Series]
➜ Pairing: Karasuno x Manager! Reader
➜ Warning: none
➜ Notes: This is a separate series from Crisp Leaves. Similar to Crisp Leaves, manager in this story will be portrayed as a girl. She will be tall, around 170.5 cm (along 5’7’’). This is just my appreciation towards tall girls, you guys are amazing!
Previous:  ‹ Worth › | Next:  ‹ Greed ›
Tumblr media
↷ SUMMARY ↶
Acceptance; that’s what you’re searching for this whole time.
“OOOH!”
You stopped on your steps, immediately stiffened from the sudden loud voice–resulting someone bumping into you quite hard. Stumbling on your feet, the person immediately had their grip onto your arm–preventing you to kiss the ground face first.
“Sorry, you okay?” looking over your shoulder rather stiffly, eyes resting on the figure towering over your figure (still, the top of your head reached his cheek bone, but he’s tall alright). That and he had a rather… unique black, spiky hair.
“T-thank you,” you replied meekly.
“Sorry about him, he means no harm,” the taller boy apologized for his friend over there who… cried and kneeled on the ground? Is this having something to do with your existence!? Your height!? Anything!?
“There’re three girls now! Now they’ve got a pretty one, a cute one, and a model-like one!”
“Is he okay, though…?” you questioned, feeling the taller boy letting go of your hand and proceeded to pat your head lightly–which kind of reminds you of Daichi’s gesture.
“Yes, sadly.” He sighed in resignation. “Oh, by the way, I’m Kuroo Tetsurou. Third year, Nekoma’s captain, and this is the first time I see you around, along with that girl over there.”
The boy, Kuroo, pointed to Yachi’s figure who’s escorted by Kiyoko–you thought she somehow forgot about you, but you instantly erased the thought from your mind when noticing her not so subtle glare directed towards Kuroo.
“Ah, I just became an official manager yesterday,” you said, finding talking to Kuroo comfortable–he did kind of intimidating for his height, still standing taller over you. Maybe he’s almost 190 cm. However, he exudes this comforting aura much like Daichi as a captain. “My name is Otohaku [Name] and the girl you mentioned before is Yachi Hitoka, she’s my classmate.”
“That explains a lot.” Kuroo hummed. “And I have to say, this is the first time I’ve seen a girl as tall as you. At least Yamamoto is right about the model-like part.”
Instantly, you found your face hot as if it was engulfed with fire–stealing a laugh from him and earning another hair ruffle for you.
“I’m happy you’re getting along with our manager and all,” Daichi soon interrupted by pushing his way in between you and Kuroo while removing the captain’s hand from your head. He smiled, but his smile was far than nice–which made you swallowed thickly even though it’s not directed towards you. “But, not too close, would you?”
.
.
“They screamed powerhouses already,” you muttered, watching teams practicing. “Especially the dark blue ones.”
“You have good eyes,” Coach Ukai suddenly said, making you turn to face him. “That’s Fukurodani Academy.”
“Fukurodani…?” your eyes slowly widened in disbelief, trying process the extremely familiar name in your brain. “The Fukurodani Academy? One of the top players in Japan is in that school.”
“Just like Ushiwaka, he’s one of the top five aces heading to nationals.” Takeda-sensei continued.
“Bokuto Kotaro.” Somehow you couldn’t control your inner monologue and just plain blurted it, earning a surprised look from the older men and your girls. Also magically, the person you just mentioned immediately snapped his head to look over his shoulder and looking straight at you. He immediately grinned and you tried to reply back with a nervous smile and a wave.
“[Name]-chan, how did you know that!?” Yachi asked.
“Well, my big brother hasn’t shut up about him, so,”
“Your brother is a player, Otohaku?” Coach Ukai asked. “That’s why your last name sounded familiar for a reason.”
“Does Otohaku Hisahito sounded familiar to you?”
“I’ve seen him in the volley magazine,” Coach Ukai nodded in understanding. “He’s a candidate for one of the top middle blockers for around three years. He’s sure has an impact in plays.”
“To think [Name]-chan has connection with a very famous person,” Shimizu chuckled.
.
.
“Hey, hey, hey!” There’re so many unexpected things happened in one day and you wondered on how your heart could keep up with it. One of them would be this–being approached by one of the top five aces in the country. “You’re from Karasuno, right? The assistant coach!”
“Bokuto-san, don’t decide their position on your own. You’re being rude.”
“But she looks like one!”
“I’m sorry for his poor introduction skills.” The black-haired boy with calm atmosphere apologized–he has a really contrast personality with Bokuto. “My name is Akaashi Keiji, and this is Bokuto Kotaro-san. The captain of Fukurodani team.”
“Uhm, nice to meet you. I’m Karasuno’s manager, first year. Otohaku [Name].” you bowed slightly to show your respect.
“What!? You’re a manager!? And a first year!?” maybe it’s instinct or his outgoing personality much like Hinata, he didn’t hesitate to close the gap and stood only a few centimeters away from you. “You’re so tall, though! It’s awesome! Man, first years this time are really something!”
“Bokuto-san, you’re being too close.” Akaashi interrupted and slightly tugged on the captain’s shirt, preventing him from taking another step forward and ended up scaring you away.
“But, Akaashi look at her!” Bokuto didn’t even hesitate to point at you enthusiastically. “She’s only a little bit shorter than me!”
Getting away from Akaashi’s grip, he threw an arm around you and plainly pressed his cheek on top of your head–where your height stopped. It all happened too fast to the point your brain short-circuited. “See!”
Akaashi’s brow twitched. “Bokuto-san, you’re making her uncomfortable.”
“Excuse me,” Sugawara interrupted with a smile, however, the smile was far from friendly–dark auras looming behind him menacingly, which made Bokuto stiffened. Why? Because it was directed to him. “Could we have our dearest manager back, please?”
“Of course, we apologize if we took her time,” Akaashi said and pulled on Bokuto’s shirt to drag him away, essentially saving him from Sugawara’s wrath.
.
.
“Wuaah, it’s finally nice to meet you!” Ubugawa’s manager, Miyanoshita Eri, didn’t think twice to tackle you into a hug–sending you two sprawling onto the laid futon. You yelped in surprise as your back hit the fluffy material. “Sorry, you’re just so pretty!”
“Yeah, you have to know that Bokuto hasn’t shut up about you for even a second!” one of Fukurodani’s manager, Shirofuku Yukie, commented.
“Our boys are also getting rather distracted!” Shinzen’s manager, Otaki Mako, nodded and smiled. “Well, I wouldn’t judge them because I’m distracted too! Who’s not when they see a pretty lady not far away?”
“I guess [Name]-chan has her own charms between the boys,” Shimizu giggled, enjoying seeing you flustered.
“Riiight?” Suzumeda Kaori grinned widely. “Everyone’s more fired up than before.”
“By the way, how do you have this kind of height?” Eri questioned, loosening her arms around your shoulders. “Do you do intense sports or workout?”
“It’s genes, actually,” you answered, rubbing the back of your neck nervously. “My dad’s around 190 cm and my mom’s around 180 cm. Both of them are athletes.”
“That explains a lot,” Yukie hummed in understanding. “Just like Nekoma’s really tall first-year. He’s half Russian I guess.”
“H-half? That’s amazing,” Yachi stuttered.
“I could just imagine [Name]-chan being flaunted on in school!” Mako hugged her pillow close to her chest. “Ah, a goddess among mortals-“
“People… don’t like my height,” it’s rude for cutting her off, but you couldn’t help it. Not when it tasted extremely bitter upon your tongue. “The boys said I’m too tall and girls are supposed to be petite. The girls don’t want to get too close because I’m a giant, they’re intimidated. I… kind of wish I was smaller…”
“WHAT!? WHO SAID THAT!?” Yukie shrieked full of disgust. “How dare they judge you by appearance!?
“[Name]-chan, I need names! Names!” Kaori demanded, placing firm hands upon your shoulders and shook. “And I will strangle their neck tomorrow!”
“Please don’t murder anyone!” you raised your hands in front of your chest instinctively.
“Who do we have to kill tomorrow, girls?” Eri smiled darkly.
“Anyway, don’t listen to them, okay!?” Mako added. “You’re absolutely gorgeous!”
“Y-you have our backs, [Name]-chan!” Yachi followed. “W-we’ll fight them!”
“We and besides, if the boys somehow heard about this, there will be homicide.” Shimizu smirked.
Their support and full acceptance were alien to you.
“Thank you.”
Alien but you couldn’t help to feel warmth blooming in your chest–because this was something you’re looking for a long time.

“There is a chance that she will never wake up from this.”
Shoko gave the others in the room a concerned glance as she glanced up from her tablet, hating how silent it was besides the quiet beeping of the machines around the occupied bed. Laying in the bed was Y/N, a breathing tube carefully inserted into her mouth with the ventilator beside her being the only thing that’s keeping her oxygen levels normal. “The amount of damage she took was quite large. And even though she had managed to regulate quite a strong barrier of Curse Energy around her at all times, it wasn’t enough to brace her for the impact of her being slammed into the build.”
The mission shouldn’t have ended this way - the first and second year students were sent on a mission to deal with a few Finger Bearers that had appeared in the city due to the lack of sorcerers on duty at the time. They were under the care of a few First Grade sorcerers, all hand-picked by Yaga-sensei to ensure the safety of the kids.
However, things rarely go to plan in the jujutsu world.
Yaga-sensei sighs softly as he leans back into his seat, his eyes glancing over at his student that was clearly battling to stay alive. Guilt started to eat him from the inside out, since this was technically his fault. Sure, everyone knows that there is no way that you can go on a mission without enduring some casualties. But the fact is that this was not what he had expected for the outcome to be.. “I am going to kill them myself.”
“G-Gojo-san!” Ijichi hissed out as he glances over at the white haired shaman in the room with wide eyes, the man having been leaning against the wall opposite from the hospital bed with his arms crossed over his chest. His head was tipped forward with an almost too casual expression on his face, yet anyone can tell the barely suppressed anger that lurked underneath. An anger that was only a few moments away from exploding. “You can’t - don’t say things like that!”
“And you expect me to sit back as they failed to save the children?” Gojo asks in a loud voice, effectively squashing whatever confidence Ijichi had built up inside of him. The hand that was resting arm tightened, the veins at the back of his pale hands started to protrude out as Gojo’s anger started to show itself. “I need a good explanation on how their incompetency put our student in this state. 5 First Grades against 3 Special Grade Curses? With 7 talented students by their side and they still can’t handle it? Give me a fucking break.”
“Not everyone can be like you, Satoru.” Yaga-sensei finally mumbles out as he rests his forehead into his hand, fingers pinching at the space between his eyes tiredly. “If anything, it was my fault. I had underestimated the brains of the Finger Bearers, and because of that, all my calculations were wrong. I put retrieving the fingers over numbers. So if you want to find someone to be angry to, the blame is on me.”
The room went quiet after Yaga’s explanation, both Ijichi and Shoko sharing a caution look before casting a glance over at the blindfolded man. After a few tensed moments Gojo pushed himself off the wall and walked out of the hospital room without another word, closing the door behind him quietly; a stark contrast to his usual habit of either slamming the shoji doors too hard, or leaving it open completely.
That out of character move definitely had Shoko sighing in concern. “That idiot...I hope he’s not going to do anything stupid.” She mumbles softly before she turned back to face the young girl laying on the bed, quietly reaching over to brush her fingers through the soft strands that had fallen over Y/N sleeping face. “You better wake up soon, sweetheart...I worry that this might finally push him over the edge.”
Tumblr media
Occupying each seat outside of the small waiting area in the infirmary were the other students; wounds bandaged, yet their anxiety was palpable in the air. They had heard what had happened, yet were sheild by the other sorcerers who had called for back-up. Last they heard of Y/N was a scream before what sounded like a building collasping. “Do you think Y/N-senpai is alright?”
Yuji was the first one who dared to break the silence, glancing up from his clenched hands before him to glance at the others. “I mean...it must have been bad, since she was charted off as soon as back up arrived.” Yuji mutters softly as he tightened his fingers together, trying to stop them from shaking. He felt awful - if only he had spared a few seconds to glance over at his senpai, maybe she wouldn’t be in the condition she’s in now. “It’s not every day you’re rushed straight to Ieiri-sensei’s office...”
“...If there is one idiot who can pull through, it’ll be her,” Maki mumbles out quietly after awhile, looking away from her kouhai to stare down at the wooden floors of the building they were in. “Even if it’s bad, she always pulls through it...there is no reason why she can’t do it this time.” She mutters softly just as a pair of footsteps came towards them, causing everyone to look up at the approaching figure.
Gojo paused when he spotted the others, the question they wanted to ask was clear as day. And for once, Gojo wished that he was able to reassure them like he always does. For him to be able to put up the act that everything was alright, that everyone will be okay.
But he knew that it’ll do no justice if he did. “Is she...is she alright?”
The question that fell from Yuta’s mouth was left hanging in the air for a few moments, the sliver of hope they had moments ago slowly dimming with each passing moment. Quietly Gojo slipped his hands into his pockets, his blindfolded eyes downcast; too scared to see their reactions. For once, he wished that he was not the one to break the news to the students. “Y/N-chan...might not recovery from this.”
His words sent shock waves through the students, yet he balled his fists up in his pockets to continue with what he had to say. “She hit her head too hard...and if she was not subconsciously protecting herself with Cursed Energy all the time, the impact would have caused her skull to crack in two on impact. But it still took a lot out of her person, and Shoko said that-”
The sound of a metal chair being thrown backwards echoed across the room, causing Gojo to look up just in time to see Yuta standing up with wide eyes as he hastily tried to calm his friend. “Maki, you need to calm down.” He tried to reason with the girl, who had her backed turn to the group, her hands shoved deep into the pockets of her jacket. “This isn’t your fault-” Yuta tried to reason, only to pause when Maki just silently started to walk away, leaving with no more but a loud slam of the main door that echoed down the hallway once more.
For a few moments no one said anything else, yet the first one to move was Megumi; who turned to face his sensei. “Can we visit her?” He mumbled out quietly, to which Gojo just glanced over at him with a slightly raised eyebrow. “Usually people talk to someone who is in a coma. Might jolt them awake or give them encouragement to fight harder...I am sure Y/N-senpai will get lonely if no one visited her..”
“Why not?” Gojo said after a few moments of thought, giving his students what he hope was a reassuring smile as he turns a little; nodding down the hallway. “Shoko managed to stabalise her condition. Just make sure to sanatise your hands at the door.”
Quietly the group of students followed behind their silent sensei, keeping close to one another as if they were trying to give each other comfort. The walk to the room seemed too far, the door seeming to grow further and further away from them with each step. It was if it was trying to stop them from seeing the truth; yet they didn’t stop. Yet soon they found themselves standing before the smooth door; the single grey name plaque with her name written in black resting in the silver plaque holder. “Right, here we are.”
After everyone was handed a blob of hand sanitiser and had wiped it onto their skin, the small group entered after a quiet knock to the door. “Y/N-chan, I’ve returned with the others...minus one, that is.” Gojo hummed out in delight as he made his way towards the bed, a silent gesture for the others to do the same. “You know Maki-chan though. Once she finishes beating herself up, she’ll come running back. She always does~”
Quietly the others made their way into the room, eyes scanning over the beeping machines and many wires connected to the sleeping girl. “Y/N...senpai..” Nobara mumbles out in shock, her eyes resting the ventilator; not believing that a girl that was bounding about the college earlier today now needed help to do something as simple as breathing. “No way...there is...”
A warm hand rest on the top of her head, Megumi quietly giving her a form of comfort whilst his wide eyes stared at the bed before him in shock. No one dared take a step forward, like they were standing on the other side of a fragile glass bridge that was moments away from breaking. “Y/N..”
Gojo felt the hole started to eat inside of him as he watches how his students were staring at their fellow classmate in shock. Quietly he settled down in the only seat at the corner of the room, watching from the shadows at how the others will react to seeing her in such a state. The first person to snap out of it was Yuta, who quietly places a hand on Toge’s shoulders before giving it a light squeeze. “Shall we go and say hello?”
Quietly Yuta made his way towards the bed, only to hesitate one step away from grabbing onto her hand. He stared at the frail hand, a simple IV needle carefully taped on the back of her palm for a few moments; a clear look of uncertainty on his face. Yet he took a deep breath, and with a trembling hand, carefully took Y/N’s cold hand in his. “I...Hi, Y/N...” Yuta mumbles quietly into the hospital room, voice barely heard over the constant beeping of the heart monitor. “Sorry...we took awhile to visit...and sorry that Maki isn’t here...I am sure she’ll drop by when she is ready though.”
The only response he got was the sound of the steady beep of the heart monitor, to which he just tighten his grip ever so slightly on Y/N’s unmoving hand. He could hear the soft giggle that Y/N would let out at his words, and if he felt tears welling up in his eyes as he hears her voice bouncing around inside his head.
“It’s alright, Yuta-san! I am sure you were busy before that. And I know Maki-chan will come after you leave - but you didn’t hear that secret from me~”
The silence of the hospital room made Yuta sick to the stomach, the idea that he might never hear Y/N’s voice again started to really sink in. Her usually warm and familiar touch felt cold and lifeless, causing Yuta to carefully tuck her hand underneath her hospital blanket; as if he was trying to warm it up once more. “I...I am going to go grab her favourite stuffed animal from her room. I am sure she’d love to have something of comfort whilst she’s here...if you’ll excuse me.”
Without another word Yuta just walked out of the room quietly, Yuji being the only one turning to watch his senpai leave with a look of concern. Out of everyone Yuji was definitely the one who seemed to be able to hold himself together the most, so it was no surprise when he was the one that went next. “Yo, Y/N-senpai,” Yuji greeted quietly as he walked towards the hospital bed, easily dodging all the wires and such. After all, this wasn’t his first time visiting someone he cares for in the hospital. “Can you hear me? I hope you can - or not Fushiguro might lecture me for being loud.”
The other sorcerer couldn’t even find his voice whilst Yuji continues on; his voice soft yet soothing as he looks down at his senpai with nothing more but a soft smile. “I know you’re trying your hardest go come back to us, and you’d probably tell us that we’re not the ones to blame. That you’re a big girl now, and things like this happen all the time.” Yuji continues, the only indication to his change of mood was the slight quiver that was hard to hide. Yet Yuji continued on anyway. “I hope you know we miss you...and we’re worried sick that you’re in the state you are now. But I know that you need some time to rest up, and soon you’ll be back on your feet again, right? ‘Cause..b-because that’s how you’ve always been.”
Silence enveloped the room once more, with Yuji just not sure on what else to say to her as he stared at her pale face. The other three in the room sort of just huddled together, all of them unsure of what to say to her. They weren’t the best with emotional words - beside Toge, who usually doesn’t use words at all - so asking them to keep their tone in check whilst referring to their unconscious classmate is a little too much for them.
So after awhile Yuji decided to lead them out of the hospital room, giving Gojo a parting smile before he closes the door behind him. Leaving him alone as he stared at the slumbering figure of his student as he rests his elbows on his parted knees. Quietly he rests his head in his hands, eyes closed as he tried to push back the light migraine that was coming on. He hates that it is his duty to break the news to the others - her parents, her elders. Heck, he has to give a call to Nanami and Utahime to tell them the bad news.
If it was anything else, he wound be more than excited to blow their phones up. But this? He wishes that the duty was handed to someone else - because he himself doesn’t even believe that this was happening in the first place.
He wishes that this was all just a terrible nightmare.

Maki quietly pushed the window open as she climbed in from the roof, the doors of halls of the infirmary long going silent; cicadas chirping away in the night sky. Maki quietly stuffed her hands into the pockets of her hoodie, eyes racking over Y/N’s sleeping form, to the amount of machines that were working by her side to make sure that she’s alive. “Hey, idiot...I’ve arrived.”
Quietly she made her way towards Y/N’s bedside, her eyes clouding over with an unreadable emotion. If she was being honest, she didn’t know how to react right now. On one hand, she was pissed - she is pissed off because she could have done something to help Y/N. Maybe if she was just faster, just a bit more aware, maybe if she was training to try harder. Maybe if she can just try harder-
A loud slap sounded across the room, Maki having pulled her hand out of her pocket to slap across her cheek hard to snap out of the spiraling thoughts. The burning sting on her cheek reminded her to return to reality before she started to trash the room out of anger, something that she and Y/N had been working on for some time now. Y/N would always say, “You should never turn to anger and violence to deal with your issues!”
Maki wonders what her reaction would be if she had saw Maki slapping herself so hard that there was a light handprint on the side of her cheek. “You’re so annoying, you know that?”
With a tired sigh Maki settled down in the seat that Gojo had occupied earlier in the day, keeping her eyes on the steady heart monitor; her eyes following the spike that indicates the faint heartbeat of Y/N. “Who the hell knew that it took an entire building to really get you hurt.” Maki sigh as she tore her eyes away from the screen, looking down at her boots quietly; examining all the scuffs and scratches on marring the smooth leather. “Call me stupid, but I really thought that it’d take more than that. Remember when you had jumped out the window of the 10th floor and left with no more but a bruise? You were crying about it ‘cause you couldn’t wear dresses for about 2 weeks.”
Maki let out a tired laugh at the memory of finding Yuta trying to reassure a crying Y/N when she found the bruise on her knee; Yuta just patting her head with the most amused look on his face whilst she cried her eyes out at the idea that she can’t wear her cute dresses until it cleared up. “Imagine what will happen when you wake up from this? God, that is going to be a pain.”
A soft sigh left Maki’s lips as she glances over at the stuffed sheep that Yuta had brought from her room; along with a few more random stuffed animals that surrounded her head like a halo. This caused her to smile sadly as she rests her head on her shoulder, watching her for a few minutes without saying anything. Maki had always been bad with words and emotions; with all the things she had gone through when she was younger. Wording how she feels and emotions are not Maki’s favourite thing to deal with, since she wants to keep this badass, strong woman front she has on all the time to prove something to her elders.
“You better wake up from this, or not I am going to kick your ass.” Maki mutters after a few moments, getting up with a tired sigh before she casts her another glance at Y/N. Without missing a beat, she reaches over to brush strands of hair away from her face, warm hand resting on her head for a few moments before she places a few parting pats on her head; something she had always done when she needs to leave for a mission or a meeting outside of school.
“‘Night, brat. Wake up soon, okay?” Maki mutters, and with a final sigh she made her way towards the window she climbed in once more, quietly shutting it behind her after she hauled herself over the railing. It was only in the dead of the night that Maki quietly lets her tears fall, biting her lip hard to stop whatever sounds that were threatening to leave her lips.
Because at the end of the day she is stubborn, and refuses to believe that this might be her new reality.
Tumblr media
A week had passed since the day that the others found out that Y/N had fallen into a coma of a sorts, and everyone would visit at least once just to see if there is any sight of change. That there might be a sign that she was going to wake up soon. And there were slight changes; a few days after she had been admitted she was allowed to get off the ventilator and rely on oxygen instead. But she was still in bad shape.
Nanami tries to make time to drop by to visit as well, coming over to quietly read pages of the book that he was reading. Whenever Y/N was sick, she would call Nanami over the phone and ask if the man can read to her; something about how she finds comfort in his voice that puts her at ease. And since Ieiri had encouraged them to talk to her more for stimulation, Nanami takes the time to read to her after a long day of work. It brought him some comfort as well, listening to the constant beeping of the heart monitor and the humming of the other machines around her.
Gojo would sometimes drop by as well, only to berate Nanami for his ‘boring’ book choices; and an unconscious Y/N has to endure two adults arguing about book choices and how Gojo’s titles are definitely not appropriate to even bring onto school grounds.
Besides the occasional argument, sometimes Gojo will prop his phone up against a vase of flowers that Yuji brings so that Utahime can FaceTime him; the students from the Kyoto side being able to see and talk to the slumbering Y/N. For the most part, everyone was shocked that she was in the state she was in; having never expected such a bright and talkative person can fall into such a state.
The most distraught one was definitely Todo, who had almost jumped out of his seat and make a full on dash towards Tokyo if it wasn’t for Noritoshi and Mai joining together to restrain the man, along with Principal Gakuganji threating to hold him back from their planned trip to Tokyo the following week that had him calming down.
But barely - the man is still more than ready to just up and run across the country just so he can be closer to his ‘beloved Y/N-chan’.
Every day, without fail, Toge will come into her hospital room with a new accessory to pull her hair back into; carefully brushing her hair out and applying dry shampoo so it wasn’t greasy to the touch. Once he was satisifed he’d carefully style her hair back so it didn’t get in the way of her checkups, taking his time with everything so he gets to spend more time with her. He doesn’t say much, he usually finds that doesn’t whenever he is around her; so he takes his time when he does her hair in hopes that she can feel that he is there for her.
Yuta and Megumi will find time after classes to go and visit her together, telling her about everything that had happened whilst she is asleep. Sometimes Nobara will visit as well, must for the most time she’d come alone in the evening after dinner to just rant to her about everything that she found annoying that happened over the day. Nobara usually stay until Ieiri comes to kick her out, hoping that Maki might come in as well to visit Y/N.
But Maki never does - yet everyone knows that Maki finds the time in her day to go and visit her like everyone else. However, no one dared to ask her how or when she does it. They’ve accepted that it was probably a sensitive subject to her, and that it’s off limits to ask her unless you want her to ignore you for the rest of the day. Gojo had learnt it the hard way when he had teased her, only to be thrown out the window of their classroom by an annoyed Maki.
Even his Infinity is no match for that woman’s wrath.
Days soon led into weeks, with slow but not so encouraging signs of improvement from the young girl. The elders of her clan and her parents had visited the college as soon as they can, and had kept tabs with every single thing that is going on with her. There was no denying the fear of her suddenly relapsing once more, and soon it will become too much for her parents to bear. The idea of keeping Y/N around, knowing that she is in so much pain, just for their selfish want of keeping her alive was a reality they want to avoid.
The once vibrant and lively campus soon turned gloomy; the hallways of the school quiet without the familiar sound of bunny-themed slippers running across its worn-out flooring. The chime of a familiar giggle was missing in the air, along with a dreamy voice that just never seems to stop; no matter what time of the day it is. There were days where the others forget that Y/N was not there to make dinner for the night, or she wasn’t there when they want to ask her opinion about something. Her room, which once served as a sanctuary for the students who can’t sleep at night, now became too painful to even walk past on certain days.
Yet everyone tried their hardest to go on with their days, knowing that it was what Y/N wanted them to do. If they were to allow their grief to consume them whole, they knew the delicate routine they had rebuilt would crumble before them. And if there is one thing they can do to keep Y/N’s memory alive, is to live their lives to the fullest. To try and cherish each and every day, no matter how painful reality is without her by their side.
They have to try, for her sake.
It wasn’t until a month passed when Yuta had came running into the lunch hall, looking like he had seen a ghost as he tried to catch his breath. “Okkotsu-senpai?” Megumi asks in concern as he looks over at the older man, putting his tray down to try and give his panting senpai a hand. “Are you-” He asked, only to have Yuta put a hand up to stop him as he took a few deep gulps of air.
“A-Awake...Y/N...Y/N is awake.”
Within a few seconds the students were sprinting across campus, none of them believing what Yuta had said until they have see it for themselves. What is usually a 10 minute walk from the lunch hall took about four minutes with them sprinting, possibly annoying half of the cleaners of the school that they were breaking the no running rule. Yet they didn’t stop even at their annoyed outcries, the simple wooden door of the infirmary almost coming off its hinges at how hard Maki had thrown it open.
Maki was the one who pushed the hospital room door open, causing the people in the room to jump in shock. Including Y/N, who had let out a soft squeak of shock; her voice hoarse from not using it for so long. The others blinked in shock at the sight of Y/N’s bright eyes meeting theirs at the doorway, ones that blinked before she gave them the biggest smile she can muster.
“H-Hi.” Y/N mumbles softly, to which Nanami just gave her a rare smile as he gently rubs her back, Gojo smirking softly as he recorded the reactions of the others by the door. He had gotten over the shock a few moments ago. “Don’t strain yourself, Y/N-chan. Remember what Ieiri-sensei said about straining your voice.” The blonde man hummed before he turned his blue eyes over at the shocked students as well. “And that goes to you too. If you all stress her out, I am not against tossing you all out.”
Y/N made a noise and turned to try and reassure the older man, not noticing how the others were staring at her in shock. The first person to move was Maki, whose eyes look suspicious wet as she stormed into the room. “I am going to kill you.” She growled out loudly, to which Y/N jumped before she held her arms out for protection; feeling a shiver of fear go up her spine. Yet before she can make a move to stop her, Maki suddenly wrapped her up in a hug, the arms that Y/N held out to try and pacify her angry classmate freezing from the unnatural reaction from Maki.
Y/N blinks for a few moments before she smiles softly and wraps Maki up in her arms as well, gently patting her head as Maki silently wets her shoulder with her tears. “I know.” Y/N mumbles out softly before her eyes met the others, giving them a soft smile as she gently gestures to the others to enter her room. Soon there was just a huge ball of crying teenagers hugging one another on Y/N’s hospital bed; Gojo and Nanami having moved aside to give them more space for their reunion as they watched on from the other side of the room. “Should we stop them?”
“Nah, we might get murdered if we try.” Gojo said with a hum as he grins over the sound of intelligible crying, looking over at Nanami who had a ghost of a smile on his lips at the sight. “Besides, this is great content. I never had a video of Maki crying before.” Gojo admitted, to which Nanami’s smile dropped as he looked over at him in annoyance.
“Why am I not surprised at all?”

You stand on your own small circular elevated stage, your arms crossed as you look out into the crowd with a nonchalant attitude. It's been a long day and all you want to do now is to give your boyfriend congratulatory cuddles for hitting first place.
"Third place, L/n Y/n!" The crowd cheers for you as if they were already rooting for you. Well, can you blame them? You yourself believe that your quirk is amazing.
Timeframe.
You are able to hurt your opponent physically and mentally. By looking five seconds into their future you can see the move they're going to do, and most of the time you can use it to your advantage. Another part of the quirk allows you to look at their past, their entire past. If you had no other choice or chance left, you can use the painful memories your opponent has to mentally fuck with them.
You hate using their past to your advantage, so you don't use that part of your quirk at all.
"Second place, Todoroki Shoto!" The crowd is as loud as when your name was called, definitely not a surprise. Shoto gave an amazing performance today.
"And first place! He followed theough what he said, Bakugou Katsuki!"
You look to your right, about to give your boyfriend a proud and warm smile only for it to be wiped away. There stands Bakugou Katsuki, chained to a cement post, his hands and mouth covered by metal, stopping him from using his quirk or from talking at all.
Something else flashes in your vision- a much younger looking Katsuki, he has his middle school uniform on. His mouth and body are being binded by disgusting looking sark green slime. Your boyfriend's eyes look desperate, his pupils are contracted and he's struggling so much in his position, his quirk helpless as his hands are binded by the slime.
Your vision goes back to the current Katsuki who's still struggling, and for a few seconds it flashes back and forth, making your heart clench in your chest.
Your body instinctively moves towards him, catching him by surprise as he lifts a questioning brow at you. Tears begin streaming down your face as your heart breaks at what you had seen. Katsuki's eyes widen, he's taken aback by your actions.
"Take it off, sensei..." You sob, pulling on your boyfriend's restraints. "Please take it off." Katsuki's once enraged eyes softens, letting you lean into him. Midnight doesn't question you at all, and allows the staff to take the restraints off of Katsuki.
You wrap your arms around his waist, sobbing onto his shoulder. Katsuki hugs you back, placing a hand on your head and storking it, taking the audience by surprise. He'd never show this side of him in front of anyone other than you, more so an entire stadium plus a million other people watching the broadcast.
All they've ever seen today was how Katsuki usually acted; harsh, loud, explosive and angry, they never expected to see this side of him today. As much as he wanted to push you off of him to keep his image, you were currently very vulnerable right now and all he wanted was to comfort you.
All Might leads the two of you out of the eyes of many, leading you to a private room where your sobs slowly turn into soft sniffles. "I guess you've seen it?" He asks, his voice as soft as ever whenever he talked with you.
"Why did you let them put that thing on you?" You sob onto his chest, your heart clenching at the memory. Katsuki smiles softly, kissing the top of your head. "It's okay, baby. I'm strong. Your boyfriend's a very strong guy and-"
You push him away, angry at how he's taking it. "You looked helpless, Katsuki! It was the first time I've ever seen you look so desperate!" Hot tears run down your cheeks like they're magma. "You looked so-"
"Weak? You think I looked weak?" He asks, a straight expression laced on his face. The words die in your mouth as you open it, wanting to say something, anything to try and prove that he's wrong.
You can't.
You close your mouth, looking down at the floor as you let your tears continue dropping on the floor. Your bottom lip quivers and your hands ball into fists as you force yourself to stop crying.
You hear Katsuki taking a few steps towards you and when his toes are touching yours, you slowly look up at him, expecting him to be angry, only to be taken aback when he looks nothing like that.
His eyes are watery and fhere are tear stains on his cheeks. "You're right. At that moment, I was so weak I couldn't even help myself." He forces out a smile, "It scared me cause I've never felt like that ever since. It haunted me ever since it happened but the day you punched me in the cafeteria for being an asshole the feeling of being scared started to fade away."
He cups your cheek, wiping away your tears as he presses his lips on your forehead. "I feel the safest when I'm with you, Y/n." He says, pulling your head onto his chest. His words cause a smile to creep to your face along with a faint blush.
"I love you so much." He whispers.
"I love you more, 'Suki."

Obviously Koro-sensei wouldn't tell his students about what Principal Asano's Darling/their new assistant teacher has gone through, but he does try to explain to them that she's struggling and needs their support just as much as they need her guidance as another one of their teachers. Some of them wonder why she's so skittish though, and I think a few of them assume she has a crush on Koro-sensei just from how she acts when he's kind to her.
They also brush off her being so nervous around Karma as him just giving off an intimidating aura due to...you know, being Karma lol. (The red hair, smooth voice, and talent for getting into people's heads resembles someone 👀)
And it makes sense that she'd be wary of the Principal and his son since they're both intimidating and have it out for the E-Class. But ____ is...REALLY scared of them. Koro-sensei always tries to make an excuse for not having to bring her with the rest of the class to school assemblies just so she doesn't have to be in the same room as them, but she usually winds up having to go anyway. Nagisa and the other highly observant students in the class notice that whenever Asano or Gakushu look in her direction, her eyes go straight to the floor and she starts shaking.
Terasaka wonders what the hell is up with a teacher being THIS vulnerable and scared around people just raising their voice. Why'd Koro-sensei even agree to have her as an assistant if this is, y'know, a class with a lot of crazy scary shit going on every day! She's constantly flinching and about to cry every time they whip their guns out and start shooting at Koro-sensei, or whenever they do any kind of physical combat training. Terasaka tends to be kind of loud, and once he snapped at Karma when she was walking by his desk and felt bad because ____-sensei immediately covered her face and dropped onto the floor like he was about to hit her.
Even if they don't know the details, they can tell that she's more afraid than most people of Principal Asano--and that's saying something. I feel like one of them would find out/notice her walking one day to his/Gakushu's house or maybe see her with something Gakushu left behind like his lunchbox, only for her to bring it to him with one of the little notes she leaves inside. And then they wonder why the hell she's making lunch for one of the people she's most afraid of.
After a little bit of using their stealth skills, some of them would put it together that she's at least dating Principal Asano but that it's not as mutual as it should be. Terasaka wants to abandon all caution and go beat the Principal's ass once and for all, and he's definitely not alone in that want. But...they all know that wouldn't solve anything and it wouldn't help ____.
____ would be mortified at her students knowing anything about her and Asano, and she'd feel like they don't respect her and just pity her whenever they get protective and supportive of her. Like she'll notice some of them pointedly standing to block Asano's view of her at assemblies or they'll offer to deliver things to the main campus that the principal specifically asked HER to bring. She just assumes they're being good kids and she'd be beyond embarrassed if they knew they were trying to protect her. She's their teacher, shouldn't it be the other way around?
