A Tearful [but temporary] Farewell

The tags/scenario revolving inside my head while I worked on this:

Enemies to Lovers, Persistent!Izuku, Soft!Tenko), Secret Relationship, Very much in love Shigadeku who are also very aware that they're on a time limit, a lot of internal conflicts ofc but they rly don't want to let go unless something big changes -> then things escalate bc screw you AFO -> Tenko makes a big decision that could affect everything and sneaks into Izuku's room [bc he's been doing that for months now. Dont ask how]for one last time to see his love before sht hits the fan just in case -> crying. Lots of crying. Angst city ------->action intensifies---------> HAPPY ENDING. I won't accept anything else. I may have imagined this with Romeo and Juliet vibes but I'm having none of that tragedy part bs.

Background tag: Concerned!classmates, dadmight and dadzawa. They know something's been up with Izuku for a long time now but couldn't say anything bc of how happy he looked despite the stress that has accumulated along side it. Concerned!LoV and Suspicious!AFO. The whole shebang

Side note: I'm rly not good at writing proper back stories so anyone with a better imagination than me are free to come up with their own plot for this.

Rarepairs/crackpairs like this are a gem fr.😌 Inspired by the Lovers of Lost Dimensions fic I rambled about before.

You know, thanks to a discussion with @professionalranter31 I realize something....Shiggy may be the only person, in canon, who really react positively (more or less) to Izu being quirkless.

Like Inko criies her heart out and apologise to him (never will like that nor the scene)

AM dont talk about his past. Yes, he said Izu cant be a hero but it wasnt bc of he is evil...it was to soare him (but I do think he was wrong as not every hero faces a villain like AFO. Also, if AFO didn't exist or was dead would AM agree Izu can be a hero?)

And....

BK, please. You guys know what he thinks. His "iconic" line of suicide baiting tells you everything.

Just it.

Shiggy?

"Ah he is quirkless? Ok whatever" and he is the villain. He couls have said smth equally or worse than what BK said. Could have said smth qorse to Izu's face "quirkless good is a dead one" and yet... he never says this.

The villain is more chill about it than....everyone else.

And the love interest, Ochako, knows shit about Izu...Like wow.

I hate when yall write the same kind of personality for self insert fics.

I don’t want to keep seeing the same easily flustered, no backbone, cries a lot Y/N. Here are some versions that I think would work better for each character.

Sweetheart Y/N: Caretaker, blushy, scolds character for not taking care of themselves. Best for slice of life AU’s or as a quirkless character. [Midoriya, Hawks, Dabi, Toshinori, Aizawa]

Goofball Y/N: Silly, playfully sarcastic, best friend type, takes nothing seriously. [Bakugou, Shigaraki, Todoroki, Aizawa]

Bitchy/Bratty Y/N: Tackless, competitive, well meaning, emotionally constipated. [Kirishima, Iida, Midoriya, Bakugou, Sero]

Bestie/Sacrificial Y/N: Fun, overly understanding, forgiving, compassionate, competitive. Best for angst and/or character development. [Dabi, Shigaraki, Bakugou, Aizawa, Hawks.]

More variety please & thank you 🩵 also please make it long

Doodle || Rarepair || Shigadeku 🩶💚

Didn't have a set backstory while drawing this.

Could be a scene from that other Shigadeku piece where they would sneak out and meet whenever they had the chance Tomura finding ways to sneak in Deku's dorm and they'd either chill there or he'd wisk Deku away to another place for the night, but mostly I just wanted to draw something cute-angst (bc lbr ships like this always have a layer of heavy angst that I don't like to think about :'D)

On an unrelated note, I've decided to continue drawing and posting pen sketches/doodles whenever I'm too busy on my tablet working on non fanart stuff. It'd be a good excuse to fill up my sketchbook plus I don't want to neglect my trad skills just because my main focus rn is improving my digital art.
