Sincerely admiring the Kents for surviving Clark/superman as a toddler. I mean, they are alive.
Tonight, while trying to convince my toddler to sleep, he crushed my throat, pocked my eyes, put fingers in ears. Who can forget the hands dashing over ears from the other night? And that time he slept in our bed and we got kicked and punched and woke to butt or elbow to the head.
A kid with super strength would be accidentally deadly, all while giggling happily.
Well done Kents, well done.

Strong Girl Bong Soon: A Delightful Blend of Romance, Comedy, and Thrills
Welcome to my review of the highly popular Korean drama, "Strong Girl Bong Soon." This delightful series, starring Park Bo-young, Park Hyung-Sik, and Ji Soo, captivated audiences with its unique blend of romance, comedy, and thrilling mysteries. In this article, we will dive deep into the plot, characters, and the overall appeal of this show.
The Story
"Strong Girl Bong Soon" revolves around the life of Do Bong Soon, a young woman with an extraordinary power - super strength. Despite her remarkable abilities, Bong Soon leads a relatively quiet life, until she becomes a bodyguard for Ahn Min-hyuk, the CEO of a video game company. As the story progresses, we are treated to a mix of hilarious antics, heartwarming romance, and a dark kidnapping plot that keeps us on the edge of our seats.
The Charming Characters
Do Bong Soon: A Role Model of Strength and Femininity
Do Bong Soon, played by the talented Park Bo-young, is undoubtedly one of the standout characters in the series. Her determination to pursue her dream of creating a video game, coupled with her unwavering kindness, makes her a fantastic role model for young girls. Bong Soon's strength is not just physical; it is her inner strength and resilience that truly shines throughout the show.
Ahn Min-hyuk: A Charming Chaebol
Portrayed by the charismatic Park Hyung-Sik, Ahn Min-hyuk is the CEO of a gaming company and Bong Soon's love interest. What sets Min-hyuk apart is his playful banter and his ability to see beyond Bong Soon's super strength. He never treats her as a damsel in distress and instead appreciates her for who she is. Min-hyuk's character adds a layer of depth to the romance and brings a refreshing dynamic to the story.
In Guk-doo: The Childhood Friend
Ji Soo takes on the role of In Guk-doo, Bong Soon's childhood friend and crush. While Guk-doo initially seems like the perfect match for Bong Soon, his character falls victim to the second male lead syndrome. Nevertheless, his dedication to his work as a police detective and his involvement in cracking the case adds another layer of intrigue to the plot.
Supporting Characters and Their Impact
Though not as prominent as the main trio, the supporting characters play pivotal roles in shaping the narrative. Bong Soon's brother, Do Bong-ki, and her best friend, Na Kyung-shim, bring a sense of familiarity and provide support to the main characters. Additionally, Jo Hee-Ji, the girlfriend-turned-love interest of Bong Soon's brother, adds an interesting twist to the story. Notably, Secretary Gong and Baek Soo-tak provide comic relief and contribute to the overall entertainment value of the show.
The Engaging Plot
"Strong Girl Bong Soon" boasts a compelling plot that seamlessly weaves together romance, comedy, mystery, and thrills. The balance between these different genres is commendable, as the show manages to deliver heartwarming moments, laugh-out-loud comedy, and intense action sequences. While the romantic aspect of the plot remains a highlight, the dark kidnapping plot and the hunt for a serial killer add depth and suspense to the storyline.
Unveiling the Mysteries
The mystery elements in "Strong Girl Bong Soon" keep viewers hooked from start to finish. The thrill of uncovering the identity of the kidnapper and the suspense surrounding the serial killer's actions create a sense of anticipation throughout the series. The plot twists and turns, and the relentless pursuit of justice, add an extra layer of excitement that keeps audiences engaged.
Appreciating the Humor
Humor plays a significant role in "Strong Girl Bong Soon," providing much-needed comic relief amidst the darker themes. However, it is important to note that the show's sense of humor may not be to everyone's taste. While some viewers may find the comedic elements enjoyable, others may find certain jokes crass or insensitive. It is crucial to approach the humor in the show with an open mind and a willingness to embrace its eccentricities.
A Visual Treat
In addition to its captivating storyline, "Strong Girl Bong Soon" boasts visually stunning cinematography. The vibrant colors and visually appealing scenes enhance the overall viewing experience. Whether it's the breathtaking landscapes or the charming chemistry between the leads, the show's visual aesthetics contribute to its undeniable charm.
The Power of Chemistry
The chemistry between the main cast members elevates the show to another level. Park Bo-young and Park Hyung-Sik's on-screen pairing is undeniably adorable and heartwarming. Their playful banter, stolen glances, and tender moments create a palpable connection that resonates with viewers. The genuine camaraderie between the actors translates into a believable and captivating romance on screen.
Strong Themes and Messages
"Strong Girl Bong Soon" touches upon various themes, including the power of inner strength, the importance of embracing oneself, and the impact of true friendship. Bong Soon's journey serves as a reminder that physical strength is not the only measure of one's capabilities. The show encourages viewers to embrace their unique qualities and face challenges head-on.
The Final Verdict
In conclusion, "Strong Girl Bong Soon" is a must-watch Korean drama that successfully combines romance, comedy, and thrills. The captivating plot, endearing characters, and chemistry between the leads make it a memorable viewing experience. While the show's humor may not be for everyone, its ability to balance lighthearted moments with intense action sequences sets it apart. Whether you're a fan of romantic comedies, mysteries, or simply looking for an entertaining series, "Strong Girl Bong Soon" is sure to leave you smiling.
So, grab some popcorn, sit back, and immerse yourself in the world of "Strong Girl Bong Soon" – a delightful blend of love, laughter, and superhuman strength.

Thank you again for all the interest and asks! <3
Sakura was listed dead after her caravan got attacked on the way to the Land of Tea, so the reunions are both painful and tear-jerking.
Sakura actually ends up escorting Kakashi back to Konoha, after a mission in the Land of Tea leaves him unable to use chakra till he heals properly. It's a long walk back to Konoha, so some laundry gets aired out. It's a strange tentative relationship they've got afterward, where Kakashi grapples with many very strange and upsetting emotions. After all, he's used to losing people...but he's never gotten them back before. He doesn't know what to do with that- and he doesn't know what to do with the strange, powerful woman who's taken the place of his once-scared student.
As for Naruto, she's forgiven him and wants his forgiveness in return. They've both done a lot of reflecting- as Naruto realized he'd been living life without realizing how his ideals/nindo could hurt people while Sakura, though her anger was justified, had been cruel and thrown some really low blows. Their relationship won't ever be the same, but that's a good thing. There's a lot of crying.
As for Sasuke...she wants justice. Barring that? Revenge.
