When if first sees you, he's quite curious.

For the sake of this, we're going to say that UA allows piercings and makeup.

And he wasn't doing it on purpose but he listened to your conversation with her

And when he hears you talk, he feels his heart skip a beat. How could you have such a dark aesthetic but still be so bubbly?

Naturally, he's drawn out by your style but your personality?????? bonus points bby

You have to take the first step because this boy is quite reserved.

After a while, you both become close friends. Not only do you guys share the same aesthetic (well he doesn't really dress up goth but yk) but you guys have the perfect releshionship

Like moon and sun, black cat and golden retriever, ....

He can't help but slowly fall in love with you, I mean you treat him like a normal human being, heck you're so nice to him

Look at him and try to tell me he wasn't bullied of something because of his head. Kids are fucking mean man.

So when you're actually willing to spend time with him and listen to everything he has to say? He melts.

From personal experience, when you don't talk about the stuff you like because people don't care, when you find someone you can't stop talking about it.

He was really embarrassed the first time it happened and kept apologizing. Of course, you told him that he didn't need to apologize and that you were actually really enjoying hearing him talk. Give him some feedback on what he said and he's (a bit shyly) continuing the conversation.

I think that he would tell you that he loves you by accident.

Like picture this :

You're both sitting on his bed, sharing goth music that you like, and he just looks at you lovingly before muttering under his breath. "You're amazing ____, I love you so much..."

So you stop in the middle of your sentence and look at him with a big smile and say "I love you too Tokoyami."

He doesn't move for a while, not believing what just happened. When he gains back his composure, he just smiles a bit, tears of happiness forming in his eyes, and takes your hands in his before asking you out on a date.

Now, let's get to the actual relationship headcanons :)

HE. IS. A. GENTLEMAN.

Always offers you help when you seem like you might need it, praises your work, listens to everything you have to say, ....

He also writes poems for you. At first, he would just leave them on your bed for you to find them, but after a while, he reads them to you.

So, while I know he's not an actual bird, I think he has some instincts.

Like he brings you shiny things as gifts. Please don't point it out because he will get embarrassed about it.

He also coos when you guys hug, cuddle, ...

Loves when you pet Dark Shadow, I feel like some people are scared of them/it, but seeing you so happy and relaxed makes him really happy :)

He's a sucker for physical affection. I don't think he ever got a lot, so he does take steps by steps but truly adores every moment of it.

Once he's got comfortable, he is a bit clingy. Not in a bad way at all!

I think he'd prefer if you're releshionship stays secret. It's not that he's embarrassed or anything but 1A is really noisy

Love to go on dates with you. While he prefers to be In calmer places, with less people, he's open to whatever you want to do

May or May not try ritual with you :3 but that's only for my crazy girlies lol

He's a simple man, as long as he's with you he's happy

"So I shouldn't have wore this? "You asked

"He won't touch you, songbird". He said holding your pinkie.

As you all walked denki and jirou along with mineta(because denki is holding the leash.) In the back you all started talking about your likes and dislikes about classes/work.

But was you were about to mention that work/homework got harder for you. You felt a hand go straight to your thigh.

As you looked down you seen mineta trying to grab you more, along with trying to sniff you.

As you noticed you started screaming, loud.

Everyone noticed mineta trying to calm you down.

But denki zapped him and sero taped him to a light post. Andeft him there for a night.

So you called your boyfriend to come help you. And now you were running from the police.

As you run, you feet started to hurt so you took off your shoes. And he started to carry you so you could rest.

"Is it safe yet? " you ask

"No, not yet. " he answered.

"I'm tired. " you mummbled

"Go to bed, I'll be here when you wake up. " he said putting a jacket on you and zipping it up so you weren't cold.

"Okay, love you" you mummbled falling asleep.

Thinking about:

Tokoyami being skittish and avoidant after the first few weeks of your relationship. Everything was amazing with him; he showers you in sweet compliments that leave you breathless, calls you sweet nicknames and always makes time for you. Now imagine your surprise when he starts totally avoiding you.

The bell rings for first period, and your feathery boyfriend is yet to be seen. Anxiety started to gnaw at your chest; he hadn’t responded to your get well soon messages, only leaving you on read. You couldn’t even visit him properly since he gruffly told you to leave him alone when you tapped on his door.

It was not like Tokoyami at all, as communication was incredibly important to him in a relationship. Your anxiety bubbled over as you gnawed on your lip. Was this his way of breaking up with you? He had blown you off with plans for the last weekend too, making this a repeated issue. You knew you would get upset thinking about this, so you continued to scrawl down the notes from Aizawa’s lesson.

You mentally resolved to visit Tokoyami after the school day is finished and see just what the problem is.

You gently tapped on Tokoyami’s door yet again, praying to whatever entity that he would let you in.

“I don’t wish to see anyone at the minute, please leave me alone,” you heard him grunt back lowly. He sounded pained and hurt, not to mention tired. You bit your lip in anxiety.

“Fumi? It’s me, my love. Are you alright? Please let me in, I’m so worried about you,” you pleaded him through the door. You heard a sigh.

“I’m sorry but not right now. I’m not well, and I do not wish to pass the illness on,” he continued, sounding more irritated by the second.

“I don’t care if you get me sick Fumi, I can take care of you and help you get better,” you compromised, hoping he takes the deal.

“Starlight, not now. This.. it’s a different kind of illness,-” Tokoyami was cut off by a series of coughs resonating deeply in his room.

“That’s it Fumikage, I’m coming in!” You announced, undeterred by his pleads and demands for you to stop. You gasp upon entering his room; black feathers were strewn across his bedroom in random directions and places. His lamps were lit, leaving the gothic bedroom in a ghostly light as you tried to find your boyfriend.

He was trembling in the middle of his bed, surrounded by a growing pile of feathers and trying to hide himself with his pillow.

“Fumi? Are you okay honey?” Your voice filtered through his room as you closed the door behind you.

“Why are you covering your face, love? Is something the matter?” Your worried voice drove a sigh out of Fumikage as he lowered his shield. You let out a slight gasp; he was moulting. His feathers looked sparse in some areas, some turned grey and some on their way to drop out his face. Even though his face was not one of a humans, you could almost see the bags under his eyes.

“Oh my god Fumi, what’s happened?!” You try not to let your voice get too alarmed; you didn’t want your boyfriend to think you were disgusted of him.

“I knew this would happen. It was foolish of me to think I could prevent it. It is a byproduct of my quirk: every few months I moult my feathers to make way for thicker and healthier ones, but as such it takes a toll on my body. I get hot flashes, and my feathers just drop out. I am usually plagued by insomnia, yet it worsens during this period of time. You must think it’s disgusting,” his voice quietens in embarrassment.

You let out a small “oh” upon his explanation, feeling stupid for your prior thoughts. You slowly made your way to his bed and sat next to him, rubbing slow circles to his shoulder.

“That’s not the case at all, my love! I had no idea that your quirk would cause this but it makes sense. I wish you would have told me about this. I’m here for you, I can help you face problems like these. It’s not a disgusting thing, it’s perfectly natural,” you comforted him, slowly grabbing his hand and gently rubbing in between the knuckle like you know he likes.

Tokoyami seemed shocked at your response. Any other person apart from Shoji usually made comments along the lines of “ew, I couldn’t cope with it,” or something. The politest would just give him a sympathetic smile that was tinged with disgust.

“A-are you quite sure starlight? This can be a troublesome task-” you interrupt him.

“Of course Fumi. Now, come here. I brought some supplies in case you were sick,” you rearrange yourself so that you were at the headrest of the bed and Fumikage curled up against you. You produced a bottle of his favourite flavoured water and held it to him as he shakily managed a few gulps. He let out a shaky and tired breath as he nestled himself against your chest.

Your hands found his silky feathers and Fumikage’s eyes burst open. It was foreign for him to feel someone so casually pet him. You worked in continuous strokes, gently setting aside any loose or broken feathers before petting him again.

Fumikage let out a contented chirp each time you found a particularly annoyed or irritated area. His natural bird-like instincts were screaming at him; his mate was grooming him!! Actually helping him maintain his appearance!! Making him feel better about his icky transformation!! It was a dream come true.

He nuzzled his beak closer to your neck and allowed his breaths to get deeper and slower, before totally falling limp against you.

And you know what? That was the best night’s sleep he had in 4 days.

🐦‍⬛ It was an unintentional discovery. You'd been searching for a snack when you first heard the noise and at first, you thought it had been someone tapping on a table until you remembered that it was the weekend and most of class 1-A were out doing their own thing leaving just a rare few so you ignored it thinking you had simply knocked something down in a cupboard until it happened again this time longer a bit louder and accompanied by chirping?

you walked out of the kitchen socked feet moving you into the shared area that was not the sound of something glass tipping or a bag of chips shifting. It was unprompted organic made by something living and the strange thing was that you were positive that you had heard it before and as you rounded the couches looking around you heard it again...coming from Tokoyami.

He was sleeping soundly a pillow tucked under his chin as he lay sprawled on the couch you were sure that the sun had lulled him into an afternoon nap one so good he was chirping in his sleep and the sight was enough to make you want to squeal at how adorable it was though you didn't dare make a sound. However, there was no way you were going to let an opportunity like this pass you by.

That is why when your stomach dared to betray you by letting out the most embarrassing growl ever heard Tokoyami awoke to see you his classmate (and crush) crouched in front of him with a phone the soft sound of a camera shutters the only other sound in the room.

"It's not what it looks like."

Tokoyami is… an odd little man. Being a bird hybrid, of sorts, he had a lot of bird habits. Specifically habits of corvids. His room is filled with small shiny things and a few dozen gifts. Whether it was to people or from people, you weren’t quite sure; but it was sweet.

A make-shift nest sat in the center of the room, dozens of pillows and blankets and other plush things were arranged in a circle, slowly becoming smaller and smaller towards the middle. Transforming into a comfortable shell of sorts, and you sat in the center of it all. Wrapped up in the blankets and held by the pillows. Tokoyami was there too, his face buried in your stomach as you gently preened his feathers for him. “Such a pretty boy,” you’d praise, never failing to make his feather puff up as you did. “Such a pretty bird,” you purred out, making a content noise come from him. You loved this time of the year, when Tokoyami was all sorts of affectionate.

“I love you…”

He’d mutter.

When you first touch his chest…WITHOUT ASKING.

Kirishima would look around for a second like “I swore something just touched me” then catch a glimpse of you below as you gently poke and squish his pecks through the workout shirt. You’d been so engrossed with watching his workout you hadn’t even noticed you had crossed the room to just…feel his chest. Of course, when you realized what had happened, your face erupts into a bright red blush and try to escape but he just engulfs you. “Aw, baby, it’s okay! You can cup a feel so long as I can~!”

Katsuki would stiffen and glare at you from over his shoulder as he continued cooking. You had come up from behind and just wrapped your arms around him so your palms met his chest, fingers fully splayed and unashamedly giving squeezes. There’s a faint blush in his cheeks when seeing your grin despite his scowl. “Don’t blame me if you get burned by the stove, dumbass…but don’t stop or I’ll blast you.”

Izuku would be busy with interviews at a meet-and-greet event with you standing at his side. He’s of course too polite to ask for reporters or people to step back when he’s had enough, the gentle green haired hero too nice to speak up when someone touches him by accident. However, the story changes when he feels your familiar hands practically marking their territory as you step between him and the onslaught of people, your eyes glaring daggers at the touchy-fan who had dared touch what was yours. And the cameras flash wildly as his face turns such a dark red his freckles disappear.

Tokoyami just…melts. So physically starved is this man when you touch his chest he just becomes putty in your hands as you carefully massage his chest muscles. You are literally biting your lips as he trembles beneath your fingers since you’d caught him by surprise when he was stepping out of the shower. Honestly it had been by accident since you had come around the corner and raised your hands by reflex but now you were smiling like an idiot as he leans into your touch.

Keigo. This man. This bird. The second your fingers touch his chest is when his face turns red, his amber eyes widen, and his red wings just POOF. Like so soft they could replace your mattress they are so fluffy! It would just be a light touch, just a brush as you walk past him on the street, a gentle touch to thank him for saving you from being attacked by thugs as you walked home. It was through his clothes but hot damn he thought you had burned him! You can’t see it but behind that visor his amber eyes are glistening with the need for more as he watches you walk away. Strangers in front of the public but when he got home to the love nest you two secretly had…you better watch out!

fumikage’s fingertips are soft against your skin. the of the rope he weaves across your body is soothing with each pass. tonight, his work is intricate and beautiful. “i want to look pretty, fumi,” you’d said. fumikage lifted your chin. “but darling, you’re already the most beautiful girl i’ve ever known,” he’d replied with a smile. “that may be true, but i want you to make me look prettier.”

so with precision and warmth, his hands wrap and secure rope around your chest, your arms, your hips, your legs…. all carefully woven in colors you’d chosen for the occasion. the catharsis of being bound and in his hands slips in slowly as he lovingly caresses your skin. with whispers of kind words, he leaves soft kisses and checks on you as he works. when he’s finished, his eyes are looking down at you with adoration as he sees your hazy, content gaze staring back. and as he often does, he simply lays with you until you’re ready to be untied and held in the safety of his arms.

You did remember how Fumikage had invited you into his room for the first time. Dimly lit, you could barely make out any details, but what you did remember was the skull sitting on his sideboard. Its empty eyesockets glowing from within had you captivated in a morbid way.

Tonight, the familiar flickering of the small light filled you with a feeling of deep contentment and pure happiness, as Fumikage wrapped his arms around your body, his soft black feathers tickling your skin as he gently rubbed his beak against your cheek.

you're a positive and bubbly girl, someone who easily makes friends with everyone around her

and because of it, you often drag your boyfriend to social events and get him to open up to others as well

tokoyami appreciates that you are this outgoing, since it compliments his own personality. he isn't the type to approach someone as naturally as you do

you do tokoyamis make up. you're pretty good at so you give the greatest eyeliner he's ever seen and paint his nails black

in return, tokoyami always lets you borrow his hoodies. they look so big on you and it's amusing to see you in complete black for once, instead of your usual pink dresses

tokoyami will listen to you ramble about fashion while he brushes your hair. you even teach him how to braid it

he'll go shopping with you and lets you pick out some clothes for him. often times you just get him jewelry though - some nice rings and necklaces that compliment his outfits

tokoyami gives you sweet nicknames like "princess" or "angel", while you call him "my dark lord" or "fallen angel"

it was a joke at first but you just kept using those nicknames for him

plus, there is nothing funnier than watching people's faces when you answer the phone with a casual "hello my dark lord"

How about Tokoyami, Shinsou, Tenya, and Sero with a playful childlike s/o who always smiling (like they could have literally be in a serious fight and they’ll be cracking jokes and giggling throughout).

I started writing this last night and don't have time to finish it this morning, so sorry, we're missing Sero. I'll try and come back and add him after work.

Tenya gets migraines with you and your coping mechanism. You are his precise opposite, seeing rules as a suggestion and life as a reason to have fun.

Even during fights, you're laughing in villains' faces and providing witty one liners. He'll admit to cracking a smile every now and again, particularly when you've verbally roasted the enemy, but still you can't always treat life like a joke.

People are three dimensional, no one's happy 100% of the time, so when that crash does happen, Tenya has a way of being there.

He doesn't gawk at the lack of a smile on your face, or try and get you to laugh again, he lets you breathe, with no pressure to be your "usual self", you get to relax, truly relax.

Tenya invites you to his room to do your studying, claiming he's created the optimal environment for it in his dorm.

It usually results in you being so comfortable you end up spilling your guts to him, or falling asleep somewhere utterly random.

Tenya never complains, keeps inviting you week after week, to give you that little moment where you don't need to be the jester.

Shinsou won't lie, it was downright annoying at first.

Both you and Kaminari, high-energy balls of go go go!

He doesn't know how you do it, he's tired just looking at you, always with that infuriating...gorgeous, sunny smile on your face. You have the audacity to light up the world without really trying, you make a joke out of everything.

In grave situations though, that sense of humour of yours turns...sinister.

"Welp, we're getting our asses kicked, but at least we're doing it with style!"

"Sure, let's all march into the corridor of destruction, I'm sure Bakugou won't laugh too much as he blows us to teeny tiny pieces!"

"My ass is going to get firmly kicked, but hey, we're learning right?"

The sarcasm was on the mark every time, and you didn't seem to care that Jirou levels you with the death glare to end all death glares, it's all in good fun.

Your humour sometimes alienates you, Shinsou's seen it, but it never seems to be reason to make you stop. That smile turns out to be your little rebellion of self, and Shinsou loves you for it.

Tokoyami was drawn to you from the start, which made you quite the ironic pair. You were a ray of sunshine, almost literally (bonus points if you have a light based quirk), and he...was not.

He tries not to be dower and depressing, he does have a sense of humour, and you have a way of making him laugh in the oddest situations.

Hawks took you both on for the workstudy and ended up meeting the bloody dynamic duo, you blend seamlessly together and help each other keep up with the feathered menace. Alone, either of you is a force to be reckoned with, but together?

People joke that the two of you are joined at the hip, but you can't help it when there's an innate comfort in his presence, he doesn't even have to try.

The quiet moments are his, when you both fall silent in your room and just...exist together. Sharing space while occasionally sharing a thought, there's never any pressure in each other's presence.

Someone made the mistake of claiming the two of you shared a braincell once, and you've never let it go.

Your running joke is: "Sorry, can't talk right now, Fumi has the brain cell."

Fumikage picked up on it, and now his response when everyone looks at him funny is: "I won't be giving it back until you promise to stop using it for evil."

“Guess who’s back, back, back? Back again, ‘gain, ‘gain. Hawks is back, back, back- tell you’re friends, friends, friends~” Hawks did a little shuffle as he came into the gym, laughing at his silly song. He was once again summoned to train the kiddos today, something he was unexpectedly starting to look forward to. “Hey kiddos, what’s new?”

“Hawks!” Some of the students cheered while others tried to keep their cool around the pro-hero. Tokoyami didn’t look surprised to see him, but it was clear by the slight puff in his feathers that he was pleased.

“Thank you for coming, Keigo. I know we’ve been asking for you quite regularly lately…” All Might began, relaxing when Hawks waved off his concern.

“No worries, Toshi. I kinda like these ankle biters.” He reached out, grabbing Tokoyami with ease. “Especially this one- say, can I keep him?”

“H-Hawks!” Tokoyami fussed as the rest of the class laughed, amused. Not long after groups were set up throughout the gym for quirk practice. Hawks was soon left with a handful of students to entertain.

“This is so exciting! I don’t think I’ve got to train with Hawks yet!” Uraraka clapped, almost floating away in her excitement.

“Don’t go soaring away now.” Tsuyu shot her tongue out when the girl nearly floated to the ceiling. “Stay with us, girl. *ribbit* *ribbit*”

“Tokoyami- what’s Hawk’s training style like?” Midoriya asked, notebook in hand and pen ready. “I’ve analyzed his quirk ability and his way of fighting by videos on the internet, but this is also my first time training with him. Do you have any pointers?”

“...I think Tsuyu just got carried away.” Todoroki blinked, watching the two girls float into the sky. In the back, Iida came running to their rescue.

“Hawks is…it’s hard to explain. You’ll see for yourself; just be ready.” Tokoyami seemed a bit stiff as he watched Hawks stretch out. “He likes to play games.”

“Ah I see….Um, what kind of games?”

Turns out, Hawk’s “games” weren’t just training related.

They were deadly.

“Come now- is that the best you can do?” Hawks teased, flying high above as the students tried tagging him. The goal was simple- capture the villain- in this case Hawks- who had taken one of their teammates -Tsuyu- hostage. The two biggest obstacles where he remained in the air at all times and he was allowed to fight back. With his arms full, he mainly used his wings and feathers.

The flying part was a little challenging but fun. Uraraka and Tokoyami had the best chances of getting up there while Todoroki and Midoriya had to be creative with their quirks. Ice stairs and Float seemed to be good options.

The real problem was the feathers. Mainly…

“Here I come- Aheheahhahahahaha!” Uraraka squealed when those dastardly things tickled her sides, sending her off course and floating away.

“Uraraka, hang o-Ahehahahaha!” Midoriya was no better- the second they made contact, he was a mess of laughter, Float giving out instantly as he crashed into the mats below. Tokoyami and Todoroki were in no better shape- Dark shadow seemed to enjoy the feeling much to his owner’s dismay, and Todoroki could barely keep his ice going the second he was targeted. Running also proved useless- the feathers were like homing missiles following their every move.

“Is that the best you got? Come at me!” Hawks laughed in his mock villain role, holding Tsuyu like a baby against his chest as he carried on reigning tickly terror upon them. For the most part, she seemed fine- relaxed even.

Then she remembered she had a role and would cry out. “Help me, guys! Save me! *ribbit*”

“Hehhehe…thihihs is impossible!” Todoroki groaned, curled against the mats as Tokoyami landed, Uraraka beside him. “How are we to save Tsuyu if he keeps on tickling us?”

“There’s got to be a way! We just need to find some sort of weakness.” Midoriya turned to Tokoyami then. “You’re his sidekick- do you know anything?”

“Sidekick..” Tokoyami blinked before looking thoughtful. “Yes. He does in fact have a weakness. However- if we were to exploit it, we’re going to need everyone’s aid.”

“What is it?” Uraraka asked. A small huddle was formed as the information was shared.

“.....That’s so obvious.” Todoroki blinked.

“Why didn’t we think of that sooner?” Uraraka sounded equally astonished. “Deku?”

The green haired boy was quiet, face concentrated as he ran through a million thoughts. Finally, he nodded, looking up. “Guys, I got an idea.”

“You really think so?” Tsuyu asked her “captive”, cheeks pink and something hopeful in her voice.

“You bet I do. Come on- I’ve been around that kid for a good few months now. I can tell when he’s in l-” Hawks never got to finish his statement, shooting out of range as black whip snapped at him. “Whoa there!”

“Go! GO!” Midoriya cried. Within seconds, Hawks was surrounded, just barely dodging Uraraka and Tokoyami as they dived at him. “You silly kids- forget what I can do?” Hawks went to summon his feathers-

“Todoroki!” They cried, and suddenly Hawk’s legs were frozen in place, as were the edges of his wings. He could still fly- but if he were to sacrifice his feathers, he’d crash. Clever, clever kids.

“Here I COME!” Uraraka took her chance, using a move Hawks didn’t even know she could do to pull Tsuyu from his grasp. Once safe, Midoriya shot Black Whip out again, encircling Hawk’s waist and pulling. Within minutes, he was against the mats. He had lost.

“Oh man- you kids are gre-AHAHT!” Just when he thought it was over, it had only begun.

“That’s right- tickle him!” Dark Shadow cried in glee as the group did just that, poking and prodding at every spot within reach as Hawks thrashed and squirmed beneath them. Black Whip was still around his waist, squeezing him slowly like a pulse. Uraraka had his wrists, pinning them with ease as Todoroki and Tsuyu dug into his exposed armpits. Tokoyami the little sneak was going for his legs, squeezing his thighs and knees like no tomorrow.

“Wahhahhaait wahhahahhahait! Aheahhahahhaha, kiiihihihihiddos leheheheht me uhuhuhuhup!” Hawks cried, cackling like a child as various tickle spots were attacked at once. He tried his best to keep his wings from bashing them- the last thing he wanted to was to knock anyone out- but even that proved difficult when Midoriya decided to go for the horrible spots within them, making his laugh go near silent. “Plehahahahhhase yoohohohu wihihihihin!”

“Hmmm…yeah, we did. Let him up guys.” Midoriya called. The tickling ended soon after, the kids shining with pride as Hawks gasped for air beneath them. “Good work everyone!”

“Yeah! We did it!” Uraraka cheered, high fiving Tsuyu and Todoroki. Tokoyami snickered behind a hand, Dark Shadow beaming with pride.

“Hawks, are you okay?” Midoriya eventually asked, watching the Pro Hero sit up on his arms with a soft laugh. “We didn’t overdo it, did we?”

“Heh, nah y’all did fine. That was clever- using my means of attack against me. Good job.” He reached out, patting their heads one at a time. “Next time’s not gonna be as easy though- come here, fearless leader!”

He reached out, grabbing Midoriya before any of them could react. Within minutes, he was in the air, a new captive in hand. “Let’s see what you can do now!”
