The hero of the story Lario Ores. He has dreamed of being a hero his whole life, but unlike all the lizard heroes Lario is short and not very strong. He was bullied in as a child for being so small, and when he tried to join the royal guard he was trued away. He would never be as big as the caiman solders, he cant run on water like the Basilisk solders, nor could he use magic like the Water Dragon Mages. Thus Lario spend his days tending his air boat (that he built his self) working as a taxi driver over the ponds. Even though he not what everyone else wants in a hero he doesn't hesitate to go out looking for Princess when all the big strong heroes are turned to stone . His main tool that he would use through out the show would be his  Caulking Mallet: used to drive caulking irons for wooden boat building and general maintenance.

When Lario goes out on his own to save the Brittlegill Princess (Princess Wormwood) he meets a little girl called Tootty who claims to have just escaped the Pennyworts Empire. Lario has never been to the Turtle kingdom and convinces Tootty to help show him the way in return Lario will her get her memories back from Emperor Koops. However what Lario doesn’t know is that every evening when the sun goes down and Tootty falls asleep the little girl transforms into Princess worm. Emperor Koops needed away to control the Princess and her powers so he turned her into a child and wiped her mind.
