i’m not gonna lie i don’t particularly care that they had sex that night. was it disrespectful? for sure. did it harm anyone for them to do it? it, in fact, did not. two consenting adults having sex away from prying eyes and keeping to themselves < an entitled boy purposely calling a girl at her mother’s funeral (whom he had never interacted with before) a pig and ridiculing her grief. laena’s storyline was cut short because the writers decided she wasn’t important enough to make into a proper character that isn’t at the mercy of other characters (it’s something i’m forever going to be salty about, daemon and rhaenyra loved her with all their hearts and were absolutely devastated when she passed) but out of those two scenarios who do you think she would be more upset with?

the people who bring this up in retaliation cannot handle alicent taking any criticism whatsoever. in all honesty i wouldn’t even care if her fans would just say ‘yeah, it was shitty. don’t really care though.’ it would at least save me the time of reading think piece after think piece on why alicent deserved to get her lick back against rhaenyra for her lot in life (caused by otto and viserys) by focusing on her pain rather than her son’s. these are the same people who try to claim that most of rhaenyra’s children and step children secretly hate her, due to wanting ‘complex and nuanced relationships’ to occur (they actually also can’t handle that rhaenyra was a great mom all around to all of her kids, and that maybe they need to be focusing those feelings on the green kids with their parents instead). let’s be serious for just one moment: it makes more sense that the children who were neglected by one parent and abused by the other having complicated familial feelings than children who were (for the most part) raised in a relatively stable and loving environment.

Hi 🐑 Anon!! I'm glad to hear from you again!

Okay, so my idea for it goes something like this:

Reader, who was likely the member of the squad (the main AU one, with Scott, Rogue, Remy, and Pietro, plus Logan as their good raptor teacher), to struggle the most with accepting their situation and forging friendships withe everyone (a bit like Caruso, kinda, from the original show), ends up leaving for a bit. You know, the angry walk and rant about how they aren't okay or happy with what's going on... (It's in almost every 2000s kids heroes'tv shows...) Yet they end up caught, by scientists or hunters or someone who wants to pick apart their dinosaur form and more or less kill them to do so... Maybe Reader kept the teams secrets from them, or maybe Reader led them away from the team, so as to save or spare them... Either way...

Reader ends up hurt. The bad kind of hurt.

Maybe they had to fight a hunter. Maybe the scientists experimented on them. Or some strange mix of those options... Reader ends up rescued just in time by their team (plus one p*ssed-off Logan), and is taken back to their base/lighthouse...

Reader is taken care of while they're asleep (think Leonardo from TMNT after getting hurt, where they all went to the farm/barn...). They eventually wake up, and go through the process of getting back on their feet, but not without having a few heart-to-heart discussions with each team member, about how they don't hate them, they never did... they just were scared, of being rejected and about being a dinosaur and how they were the smallest/weakest member... And they all forgive each other, assure Reader, and life seems to move on...

Except a few weeks to about a month later, Reader starts to show symptoms of something.

They all think it's a small cold or fever at first. But it doesn't go away... They keep an eye on it, and while it doesn't affect their efforts on keeping the town safe from Victor, the more time that passes, the worse it gets. Ultimately, Reader starts coughing something up... Yet it isn't regular bile or vomit or puss or blood... It's... No one is sure what it is. It appears black, almost like oil or ink... yet it has the same viscosity of ink or bile... It's disturbing. Logan starts running tests, trying to figure out what the h*ll is going on, but it isn't any illness or poison that modern or ancient medicines know of. It's something new. And from what the tests point to... Reader is slowly being poisoned from the inside out. The substance, whatever it is, feeds off of them and whatever they digest/ingest, and keeps spreading to living tissues. It seems to destroy everything it touches, devouring it or rotting it, leaving behind the black residue...

So Reader only has a few months left.

Logan does what he can, but it doesn't change anything. Reader accepts what's happening to them, as that's the only thing they can do, they believe. And the others...?

When they find out that Logan has done all he can... they decide to turn to Victor. He's their enemy, yes. He wants to turn animals and humans and plants back to prehistoric times, yes. He's scary, dangerous, and could hurt them, yes. But he's their last option... So with that, they get in contact with him, without Reader's or Logan's knowledge, ready to try a new approach...

Reader does what they can to enjoy the time they have left, yet with each passing week, then each month, it only gets worse. Coughing up more and more of the black bile, growing weaker and pained... It hurts, what they're going through, but they'll try to stay for as long as they can.

One night, they start to feel worse, more drowsy and tired and sick... They ask if Logan can stay with them until it's over... He does.

Yet after a day, Reader is unresponsive...

They aren't dead, not yet, but he's staying by them until it's over, even if it takes months...

The others, who have spent the last few months secretly getting the help of Victor and trying to come to grips with the choice they've made, find them like that. They'd only been gone a day or so, giving a few samples of the residue to their new mentor/ally... And now Reader isn't waking up, and Logan isn't leaving them until they're gone. They try to say they have an idea, if he'll listen... Yet when they say who they think they should go to, who they should bring Reader to, he grows worried. Upset. Because he doesn't trust his brother, and he can't guarantee he'd help them, or even not betray them...

But they weren't going to take no for an answer... And out from the shadows comes his brother, the last person he thinks should be there. He tries to say something... but then he's fading out, a small sting in his shoulder...

Victor takes all of them in, and while he doesn't find a cure, he finds something to stave off the illness for the moment. Once it's given to Reader, they wake up in a few days...

And now they have to face the fact they're trapped, Logan is sedated, their friends aren't with them, and the last person- well, dinosaur- they want to be near is the one who's keeping them there... and taking care of them, all of them, for some reason...

(And this is where I'm at a crossroads as to what path to take. Also, Victor would never kill any of them or eat them or hurt them, but he's not letting Reader or Logan leave, and while he and the others are working together, he still doesn't plan to let them leave, either, should they change their minds... He wants to keep them all alive, happy, even... But it seems he has a few humans to get rid of... Starting with the one/s who almost killed one of his and his brother's nestlings...)

1. -I mean both are extremely affectionate but I think Julie Jean takes the cake on clingy just because she’s never had it so safely returned or felt so rightly appreciated for her possessiveness of him. She’s like a cat lying atop their favorite dog at all times and he basks in that, happily carries her around like she’s his pet koala. At night tho, he’s the suffocating snuggle bug in his sleep.

Oomph, him first but it may have been a a fall in lust thing initially. She fell harder from the get-go of his letter. He falls again even harder upon finally meeting her and learning what she’s overcome to be with him.

Both are a bit trash at cooking, but they try, and Julie especially sets her mind to learning his favorite dishes from his mother. He may have a lotta commentary while scrubbing her burnt bottomed pans from all her failed attempts but he happily does them again and again.

In this world with this gal? Bucky Egan is 100% a service!top

Oh 99% her for sure BUT!!! Don’t underestimate the amount of times Bucky’s black tie pocket squares have secretly been her panties or how often he’s wearing one of her perfumed headscarves around his neck, puts Cleven and Rosie to shame in the dandy pilot department

I’d really hate to see either of these robbed did the other, it would not be pretty or likely a lengthy grieving process, tbh, they don’t want life without each other 🥹

Bucky is hella protective, HELLA, and lord knows she needs it and soaks it right up more than most girls would. Honestly rarely finds it stifling, she’s all too well aware of what it’s like to have no one in your corner. But she too is protective of his good name when he’s careless, she’ll go to bat for him any day when some Hollywood big shot tries to be snide, she’ll also do her best to protect him from the drink and the memories

Jeanie is very possessive in the more typical way. Bucky is too, but in a rather more confident manner.

Oh I think they’d both be pretty intense arguers and pick fights easy but it’s mainly a pastime and bit of foreplay, they save their strength for the real deals

Egan is more excited about kids while she’s only pregnant, Jeanie on the other hand is a little scared and also vows to never have another AS she’s pushing the first one out, Jeanie is also the one to then beg for another as soon as she’s healed up and forgotten how bad it hurt. Something about intentionally trying to fuck a life into being riles her up as does the sudden love she has for her tiny baby she never knew she would adore so much, as does watching Johnny be a daddy, he’s so precious with their little nugget it makes her want to give him a whole baseball team.

Two geniuses that despite their intellect and skill are black sheep in their clans. Two isolated kids that latch onto each other during the academy and absolutely refuse to let go.

Their friendship with a “rival dojutsu clan member” alienating them even further from their own families.

Them graduating early and being placed on the genin team of the White Fang, a man who’s skill overshadowed the Sannin while in his prime (aka rn).

Them meeting a little baby kakashi and secretly making him their team mascot (Sakumo thinks it’s hilarious and his face eyes get suspiciously watery when the Uchiha huffs at how Sakumo holds the baby like a puppy and holds him himself)

Their team being like a family even after they’re all Jonin. The third teammate abandoning them after Sakumo’s mission and distancing from them all. Sakumo’s depression getting even worse because not only is it his comrades, but someone from the team he trained since they were scrappy little pups chasing at his heels.

The three of them getting into an argument that Sakumo overhears about their public connection to him putting their careers and reputations at risk. The Uchiha and the Hyuga telling the third to fuck off because who cares about a reputation when their father figure/ sensei is so clearly hurting.

The third teammate renouncing ties from the team in shame then defecting from Konoha entirely when the scorn doesn’t stop.

The hokage assigning the Uchiha and Hyuga to track their teammate down and bring them back dead or alive.

The two of them trying so goddamn hard to bring the person back alive but accidentally killing them when they throw themselves on a combo attack when it becomes clear they won’t win.

Them having to bring the body back and tell Sakumo. Sakumo who kills himself maybe a week later as the argument plays on repeat in his head. Connection to him only brought death, scorn, and grief. They’re all better off with him gone.

A Hyuga who cannot hold himself apart no matter how hard he tries. Who stands up and asks the uncomfortable questions about why their clan is split in two and how the caged bird seal, the forced servitude of their own family, makes them any better than the people who would steal their eyes after their deaths. Who always is a bit rumpled and too loud and too much for the straight laced people around him.

An Uchiha who turns to love rather than hate. Who constantly had a pack of younger kids (both clan and not) following at his heels from a young age. Who mastered the fireball jutsu so young but with no one there to see him do it. Who could be found teaching younger kids how to hold a kunai when he “should have been training”. Who woke his sharingan earlier than anyone had ever heard of after the death of his parents.

Both of them who latched onto each other the moment they met.

The both of them who learn the ins and outs of each other and compensate for it in every aspect of their lives. (The Uchiha who gets armored wrist guards added to his gear so he can block the Hyuga’s blind spot and is always half a step behind the Hyuga just in case. The Hyuga who after the death of Sakumo wakes the Uchiha’s Mangekyo Sharingan learns to help compensate for the eventual vision loss and the other side effects.)

The both of them who are the ones that find Kakashi and Sakumo after everything, with their hands still tacky with the phantom blood of their once family member killed at their hands, and have to figure out how to help a child when their own hearts are shattering. Who have to get Kakashi cleaned and the body prepared because they can’t trust anyone else to give either of them the honor and care they deserve. Who, when Kakashi says he wants to keep the clan house, take it upon themselves to take out the footing in Sakumo’s room and replace it so Kakashi doesn’t have to see it again.

Who are still kids in their own rights that are so fucking lost and scared but there’s a war on and they have to carry on.

Who check every body post battle to make sure the other isn’t among them until the other finds them.

Who swear to each other that if it comes down to it they will destroy each other’s eyes rather than let them fall into enemy hands.

Who trade eyes on a battlefield because they would trust no one else with it.

Who see kakashi come back carried in Minato’s arms passed out from chakra exhaustion and fear the worst before he tells them what happened.

Who stay with him, the last part of their sensei. Their baby brother. The kid they’ve been raising the last few years with Minato as a weird third coparent. Splitting their time in the hospital and refusing to go back out on a mission until he wakes up so Kakashi doesn’t have to be alone.

Who help Kakashi get used to life with essentially only one eye, accustomed to the adjustments they need to make from when the Hyuga first started to get used to his sharingan and offering what they learned the hard way so freely so Kakashi doesn’t have to go through the same painful trial and error that they did.

Just a simple apology, taking accountability without trying to make excuses, and in private, without Adrien or someone around that Chloe might be secretly trying to impress

Bc like, a lot of how Mari sees Chloe has been colored by their past of being victim and bully. The only times she's seen the genuine good that Audrey tried to abuse out of Chloe were all tied to the Miraculous somehow, either bc of the Bee Miraculous or bc of her being Ladybug, someone Chloe very clearly admired.

It would be easy to look at that and think 'shes only being nice bc she wants to be Queen Bee/she doesn't know I'm someone she bullies under the mask' when in the few months between Chloe's trying to change and Miracle Queen happening that was all she really saw

(something which isn't helped by the meta aspect of 'the Status Quo is God' that the writers religiously stick to. I hate that in shows, where we get episodes of character development that feel like they don't matter bc all the episodes in between ignore that for the sake of sticking to the status quo until the finale happens)

Chloe apologizing for being a bully is something we never got in cannon, and I think it would go a long way to getting through to Marinette that Chloe has genuinely changed for the better over the years since they were kids

Oh yeah like ofc Chloé does apologize and like. There's probably two apology scenes?

One would be a quick thing when they first met again of 'sorry for being a dick I was dealing with a LOT as a kid but ya know got over it', but then yeah a second more in-depth apology somewhere down the line when Chloé's not caught off guard by her presence and knows that she's going to have ongoing long-term interaction with Marinette and the others where she /does/ have to properly own up to All That™ instead of just 'oh we ran into each other so say sorry without unpacking'.

And in between the first and second apology it doesn't fully sink in for Marinette yet. Not out of maliciousness or anything but like

She hasn't properly thought about Chloé in years. Maybe a passing thought but she never analyzed the whole thing. So the Chloé in her memory is the version she knew when she was still a teenager with a very black/white mentality and using that to make leaps in logic toward what Chloé did instead of recognizing her as a complicated person in a hellish situation.

Like, now as a grown adult who can understand things: If she took a step back and looked at what Chloé's situation was, she'd more readily realize the abuse happening and how it affected her, and that some things like 'working for Hawkmoth/Monarch' don't make sense without something else happening. Middle School!Mari just rolled with Chloé being a jerk like her mom and her dad spoiling her but clearly they loved her becuse ofc parents love their kids and clearly someone as bad as Chloé threw away all chance of changing simply because it was too hard to change her perfect life and it was easier to throw a tantrum and join the Villain over not getting handed a reward than it is to earn said reward.

But grown adult!Mari hasn't really taken the step back to really think about that. So the Chloé in her head is just a spoiled brat who refuses to change and betrayed the Team for petty reasons. And that persists for a while because this vision is so solid and she doesn't know the full story that when the current Chloé acts different, she's once again trying to tie the two together and assuming Chloé is just being fake nice.

She catches on eventually, of course. But there's the initial suspicions because of it

And to clarify: I don't mean this in any kind of salty way. It's just hard to see the change in something when the old version so solidly exists in your head

He's living a luxurious life due to his other investments aside from his criminal activities. But for obvious reasons, he can't really stick around Kanto or Johto anymore so he goes to Unova.

That's when he sees you on the subway, you nearly drop your guitar when you see him. He thought at first you'd hate him but you run up to him with a big smile, that puppy energy of yours still hasn't left you.

The two of you connect again and Giovanni feels so much younger and alive with you. You tell him that you'd been trying to reconnect with him after you got kicked out of the academy but while his father was still alive and controlling Team Rocket, the gang threatened to kill your whole family. So you had to give up pursuing him.

Your whole family was so afraid of Team Rocket so you all moved to Unova shortly after. There was nothing you could do.

Love is definitely different now compared to how innocent you two used to be, but now you two can finally hold hands in public. Be together in public, unabashedly. Two old gay men who found each other twice.

Soft Chris Alonso Headcanons

( it feels like I just destroyed her character with that rant so I’m making up for it as I do have some love for her in the early seasons still)

She’s the only one Luca trusts to clean Black Betty when he’s not there, it eventually falls to Tan when they’re both in Germany

She paints Streets nails for him once when they’re talking about drama and it becomes a ritual of sorts

Her and Tan make dick jokes to each other, Chris saying she has a bigger dick than him and such

Deacon doesn’t approve of the jokes but laughs secretly when Chris gets heated and yells something along the lines of “get my dick out of your mouth and fuck off!” Chris totally knows he finds it funny

Hondo drags Chris over for dinner a few times a month so she eats something other than takeout, she acts like she hates it but really loves being able to get one on one time with him as they don’t work together a lot

Even though she’s not on the team anymore she helps Nichelle set up baby furniture when Hondos on call or Chris has free time, in exchange Nichelle gives Chris advice about the safe house

She has a box filled with an item from each member of the team that maybe they don’t know she has, one of Streets shirts, a keychain from Luca, one of Hondos pens, a little cross from Deacon, a water bottle she stole from Tan when working out, she cherishes that box

In her off days she wears cardigans and every single team member makes fun of her but Street, which leads to Street wearing one with her so they leave her alone

On her bad days she’ll call up Tan to work out or Deacon to talk or even Street to work on his bike together, all of it works wonders

Goes to pride with all of the team there as her personal bodyguards even if she doesn’t need them

Laughs hysterically when Hondo gets swooped up onto a float filled with drag queens talking about his muscles and bone structure

Also laughs hysterically when Street realizes mid pride that he is very much bisexual and Chris just goes “you’re the last to know”

Drinks those crazy Starbucks drinks and Hondo and Street insist that she’s the crazy one even though they sip cold brew like it’s water

Convinced Street to wear heels to work once, he tackled someone with them on and that made Chris ten times more intimidated by him

Would never admit it but the team are the only people she actually loves, she cares for others but doesn’t love them like she does the team

Still laughs about that one time Tan got held at gunpoint while shirtless because the cops thought he was the criminal

Teases Street about the stupid stunts he use to do until Street asks her to go do one if it was so easy, she shuts up

Loves rollercoasters and will take Tan and Luca on every single one, then Street comes along and they learn that he’s terrified of them which makes no sense to Chris so she drags him onto one only to regret it when he starts crying

Luca, Tan and Chris all end up walking around the amusement park with Street like he’s a little kid trying to cheer him up. Chris admits it’s not her proudest moment

Hondo and Deacon find out what happened the next day on shift and give Chris, Tan and Luca that disapproving dad look

Street becomes the bag holder on those trips along with Deacon, Chris always feels a bit guilty so she waves to them on every ride

Chris’s best friend is street but she thinks Lucas way funnier than anyone else

Doesn’t know how to do basic girly things and somehow that bites her in the ass on cases

Leading to her asking street for help and to her surprise he knows a lot

She can’t match clothes for the life of her so she just wears jeans and a hoodie most days

some of my random, oddly specific teen wolf headcanons

- Scott can play the harmonica. 

- The McCall Pack members all get the two bands, or some variation of it, tattooed on them after the war. Liam, Stiles, Malia and eventually Theo all have the bands whereas Lydia, Mason, Corey and Derek all have the circle variation.

- Derek did them on the supernaturals. - Corey’s didn't need as much flame as the others because of his dominant chameleon gene but it still hurt like a bitch. - Liam and Malia blacked out from the pain whereas Theo “took it like a champ” according to Stiles. Scott and Theo had a long conversation about the reason why he didn’t black out and for the first time someone other than himself knew what happen when he left Beacon Hills.  - Liam’s bands are on his right bicep, opposite to Scott, Malia has the bands on her left ankle, Theo on his left forearm, Stiles around his right middle finger.  - Lydia has the small circles on the back of her neck above her spine, Derek on his back below his triscallion, Mason on the outside of his left ankle And Corey on the inside of his right.  - Both Kira and Isaac get the tattoo later on. Kira on her right wrist and Isaac on the right side of his torso. - Liam gets asked about it once by a professor that saw both Scott and Malia with the same tattoo when they were visiting and he responded “it’s a family thing” and left it at that

- Liam’s acrobatic abilities come from the few years he did gymnastics as a kid. he quit early on but continued to tumble because he liked it so much.

- Stiles and Liam both have ADHD.

- Malia went to Paris and connected with Isaac. They became great friends and bonded over the endless stories of the pack.

- Derek took Malia to meet Cora in South America.

- Lydia helps Liam, Corey and Mason with their maths, biology and physics homework. She acts like it’s a bore but everyone knows she loves to bond with the younger members of the pack.

- Much like Scott and Stiles took Liam and Mason under their wings, Lydia did the same for Corey when she realised how out of place he felt sometimes. They go out for breakfast whenever Lydia is home from college.

- Alec took an immediate liking to Theo despite Theo only being an ally and not a pack member when he met everyone. 

- Alec was also the only person ballsy enough to ask (in front of the entire pack) why Theo wasn’t at a pack meeting because quote “He’s basically pack anyway, I mean he literally lives at Liam’s house”.

- That's how everyone (besides Scott, Argent, Mason and Corey) found out Theo’s living situation.

- Malia basically knew anyway because one day in Scott’s kitchen she asked Liam “why do you smell like coyote?” Liam shat himself. 

- Despite their mutual hatred for each other in the beginning, Theo and Malia get on quite well.

- Liam and Theo are not only a good team when it comes to fighting but also to board games. They teamed up for monopoly once and beat everyone so bad they aren't allowed to team up anymore.

- Scott, Stiles and Theo reconnected after they finally captured Monroe. The three of them sat down with Melissa, Argent and Noah to clear the air. 

- Stiles and Theo were closer than Theo and Scott when they were kids which is why Stiles knew something was up when Theo came back to town.

- Lydia has double jointed thumbs and freaked Alec out when he first joined the pack.

- Mason made a powerpoint for Liam’s 21st birthday and made a point to put in his 6th grade yearbook picture at the beginning. 

- When Corey wants to propose to Mason he goes to Liam (as well as mason’s family) for his blessing.

- Corey, Mason and Liam all get into UCLA

- Chris is really good at using a yo-yo

- Pack members take turns in bringing the parents food while they're at work, including the Geyers.

- Theo is the one that leaves the Sherriff with a packet of chips or a donut along with his usual healthy lunch order. - Mason’s food is always home cooked. - Malia usually just drops by the hospital with bags of snacks for Melissa and David.  - The first time someone bought Jenna lunch at work is was Scott as an apology for keeping Liam out so late one night in freshman year. He makes a habit of it and does it whenever he can. - He thinks he’s slick but Jenna knows who it is.

- The first time Scott and Liam get called True Alpha McCall and True Beta Dunbar they both get extremely embarrassed.

- Derek and (secretly) Peter pay for group and individual therapy for the pack. 

- Stiles was in the chess club in middle school

- Noah still calls Stiles mischief 

- Corey’s powers develop over the years with the help of Theo.

- The glowing eyes don’t come until the summer between sophomore and junior year of college when the whole pack is back in Beacon Hills to deal with yet another threat. Scott does his True Alpha Roar that  makes the ground shake if you focus hard enough and Malia, Liam, Derek and Theo’s eyes glow blue and gold respectively. Then Liam turns to Corey with a ‘Holy shit! your eyes” 

- They’re a brilliant lime green that turn into more of a blue-green when he turns invisible

- The pack (+parents) place bets on Liam and Theo getting together.

Ok, I’ve tried and tried and tried to write this fic because I see it so clearly in my mind but it’s just not going no matter what I do. But I don’t want the idea to die with me. The closest this came to being written was exile which was an attempt to bleed out some of the energy of this au.

Anyway, so it starts off vaguely similar to canon only more aggressive. There had been underlying tension between ghosts and humans for a while, the dead jealous/angry at the living for disrespecting them. The successful creation of the Fenton ghost portal (and another halfa) was considered an act of war and so the ghosts responded in kind. So basically all of S1 occurs fairly close to canon except ghost attacks are more violent and have increasingly more consequences as time passes. Also the attacks aren’t just in Amity Park with ghosts becoming a worldwide issue but Amity is a focal point. Regular people know the ghosts hate them though they don’t know why. Phantom is very much a controversial figure as he is a ghost but also clearly is fighting off the more violent ghosts. 

One day, not long after the events of Control Freaks, Amity Park wakes up to find three of their own are gone. Danny Fenton, Sam Manson and Tucker Foley are nowhere to be found. There’s a massive manhunt, the parents go on TV and beg for information but they cannot be found. Curiously enough, town hero Phantom was also missing. There’s some evidence they left of their own volition so the Mansons and Foleys eventually relent that the kids fled on their own. The Fentons are 100% certain the kids were stolen/killed by ghosts as a statement. And the fact that Phantom went missing around the same time means he was the one who killed them. Jazz knows Danny was Phantom but had no idea what was going on and knew her parents wouldn’t listen she just, kept quiet and privately tried to piece together what happened. 

Three years pass and finally it looks like the Ecto War is coming to a close. Young, naive ghosts attempted to raise Pariah Dark in a bid to win. It went disastrously but Phantom (who was periodically spotted around the world, deep in the worst battles of the war) and group of loyal allies subdued the king. By the law of ghosts, Phantom was named heir apparent and he declared that the fighting would stop. Humans and ghosts would have to negotiate and co-exist in peace. But he’s not king yet, no he needs to be crowned at the place where it began, Amity Park’s Fenton portal (”where it all began” has a double meaning of the beginning of the war but also symbolically where Phantom began as Kings assume the crown where their living life ended to show their abandonment of their first life and the commitment to their second). Amity is NOT happy to hear that their former hero is coming home.

Amity has been through the wringer, ghost attacks got pretty bad. The Fenton’s throw themselves into their work to cancel out the grief, they create a group of ghost hunters nicknamed the Reds (for their red blood, ghosts are nicknamed Greens) to control the threat. Valerie heads the young adult division and is considered one of the best, she drops out of school to devote herself to it full time. Oh also her dad is now the Mayor as most have died or didn’t want the job. There are still people who like Phantom and see him as a hero (a lot of Casper Kids) but it’s generally an unpopular opinion in town. Maddie and Jack are ready to obliterate the ghost that took their son’s life the moment he’s within city limits. It’s a powder keg ready to blow. It all comes to a head when Phantom and his entourage arrive.

First off, Phantom looks very different, much less human looking than when he left. He’s clearly aged like a normal teen but his eyes look much, much older.  His skin is dead white with a blue tinge to it from his ice core and his aura is super cold. His hair is longer and is very misty that kind of swirls around him and his has fangs and claws. When he’s deep in battle or his obsession, his sclera turn black and he looks scary af. His entourage is ghosts who have sworn loyalty to him, who he picked up along the way after battling beside them for 3 years. Fright Knight, Skulker and Frostbite are recognizable allies. They are not happy that their future King is back in Amity (secretly fearing they’ll lose him once more to his human life). J&M have a shot and are going for the kill when they see something that shocks them; Sam and Tucker are in Phantom’s entourage.

There had been whispers that Phantom interacted with humans, that humans were in his inner circle but this is something else together. And so are Sam and Tucker. Sam is Phantom’s General, she is talented and collected and half feral. She used to be a pacifist but the trials of war and understanding that peace sometimes needs to be fought for made her compromise. She’s covered in scars and an extremely talented fighter. She’s missing her right hand up to her forearm, she can form a ‘phantom limb’ (basically borrowing ectoplasm from her future ghost) to do some things with some powers. Tucker is the support, he uses human and ghost tech to organize, weaponize and generally keep things running. He’s covered in homemade tech (shields and weapons and computers) and he rarely removes. Both he and Sam have kinda forgotten how to interact with and really BE human after so long among the dead. They had attempted to conceal themselves but they had forgotten how strong parental love and recognition is. J&M want to know about Danny, the teens don’t know how to respond but assure them he’s alive. Phantom can’t bring himself to look at them.

This is where I start to lose track of things but there will be parallels of Valerie/Maddie vs Sam as female warriors on opposite sides who are willing to go behind, possibly compromising the things important to them, for victory. Tucker will be contrasted against Jack/Jazz as the one making weapons but also generally keeping the human parts of the team mentally/physically afloat. *Severe* PTSD for all three of them. They’re also unnaturally codependent on each other, get super anxious when one of the trio is out of sight and sleep in a big cuddle pile. They will fucking Kill You if you look at one of them wrong. Vlad will be involved, he had been jailed for war crimes but convinced Walker to stage a coup to overthrow Danny and take the crown before he’s actually declared King and is too powerful. Vlad is more unhinged here, more ghost than human (a hint on what could happen to Danny if he’s not careful). He is eventually defeated but he sacrifices his life for ghost power which, in the end, is what makes him able to be beaten.

 There’s lots of ideas on what it means to be live or dead and where the divide really is, is it a heartbeat or it is how you choose to use your existence. On how duty shouldn’t mean you need to give up everything. Because Jack and Maddie believe that Phantom killed their son and, in a way, they’re right. Before they left, the ghost war had gotten so bad and the rumors of Dark being resurrected were going around. Amity attacks were at an all time high, people in their school were being killed just because Danny went there. He realized he had to choose between Fenton or Phantom and he chose to protect the world. He abandoned his human identity and went off to fight in war. Tried to convince Sam and Tucker to stay but they followed him through hell and back. Because Danny spends so much time as Phantom, Fenton is severely neglected. His long hair is cool and floaty as Phantom but is unkempt and stringy, hanging in his face as Fenton. He’s wan and underweight and looks like a walking corpse. He knows his human half will give out soon if he doesn’t give it more attention but he just can’t there’s too much to do, too many people to save.

It would end with Danny being outed to the town, not the world, just the town. Jack and Maddie need to recon with the fact that their boy DID leave of his own choice but only because their failure to protect him (from both the portal and ghosts) made him feel he had to take all this responsibility on his shoulders. Danny also has to recognize that he (and Sam/Tuck) can’t do all this on their own and they can trust and rely on the people around him. Phantom is crowned King but he decides Amity will be his base. The trio eat more, sleep some, catches up on school all the while continuing their duties as King and court. The ghosts also see that Phantom’s humanity isn’t a weakness but a strength and will bring peace to the Earth/Zone so they also take some of the burdens off his shoulder. 

Basically I load up heavily with angst at the beginning and end with all the love and comfort imaginable. I just can’t fucking figure out the middle and my motivation will not let me write this shit out. But I can’t let this AU die bc it fucking keeps me up at night.

DAISUGA

-Daichi goes to the gym to work out. Suga goes to the gym to ogle Daichi

ASANOYA

-Noya gets up before sunrise to run. Asahi would rather die than leave his bed before 8am

-Noya is surprisingly patient, gentle, quiet, and kind when it comes to Asahi and his insecurities

-Noya is the type to bottle his insecurities and fears until they explode. The only one who can calm him back down is Asahi

Sometimes he’ll spend over half an hour trying to find the *best* one, only to buy them all and send them as a sort of big long letter. Asahi saves them all in a photo album that lives on the coffee table. (Some people have a coffee table book, Asahi has a photo album.)

-Noya prefers to top. The one thing he’s really uncomfortable with is being on the bottom (physically laying beneath someone and also sex).

KUROKEN

-Kuroken have a black cat and a calico and enjoy naps on the couch with the kitties. Kuroo has SO MANY pictures in his phone of Kenma curled around the kitties.

-Kuroo: “Love you.” Kenma: “Hate you.”

-Kenma CAN cook, but likes that Kuroo likes taking care of him

-Every game Kuroo has ever owned is multiplayer because he only games with Kenma

-Kenma’s favorite games involve critical thinking and puzzles. Kuroo enjoys watching him play

-Kuroo is an introvert masquerading as an extrovert. Kenma is an introvert. They enjoy quiet nights in.

-Kuroo has anxiety. Kenma always knows when Kuroo is anxious and how to fix it

Kuroo actually games with him on those days and Kenma’s followers are quick to notice and speculate because Kenma has literally never gamed with another person in the same room before. Sometimes Kenma can only post the actual gameplay because Kuroo ruined the footage of them by being excessively sappy. (Kuroo is NOT above flirting and dirty talk to get an edge and Kenma doesn’t really think his fans need to know that.)

-Kuroken do not talk about Kuroo’s mom or sister

-The Kozumes love “Tetsu-chan” and Kuroo’s grandparents adore Kenma. Kuroken get along with each other’s families better than they do their own.

-Kuroo is tactile. He’s that ass-slapping friend. Kenma thinks he’s ridiculous

-Kuroo used to be dislike Hinata, because Kenma and Hinata are extremely good friends and Kuroo was afraid Hinata would take Kenma away from him. Kenma has assured him he doesn’t like Hinata like that but Kuroo doesn’t warm up until Hinata starts dating Kageyama

BOKUAKA

-Akaashi is 100% in charge of the house and the financials and his word is law. Not because he’s an asshole but because Bokuto is whipped

-Bokuto is the calmest between him and his sisters. His sisters have formed an Akaashi fanclub

-Bokuaka kiss a lot during sex

-Bokuto fucking loves owls

IWAOI

-Iwaizumi cooks and cleans because he’s always been the one taking care of Oikawa, but he refuses to fold the laundry because “I’m not doing everything for you, you fucking freeloader”

-Iwaizumi cooks healthy “old man food.” Oikawa’s sweet tooth suffers
