When you found out you were pregnant, it was obvious. No period. Your cravings became intense. You threw up every fucking morning. Simon and you were excited that you were pregnant, people encouraging you that the morning sickness would pass. Instead. It came harder and longer. You cramped all the time, you bled once. Thinking you lost the baby when in fact you didn’t. Doctor reassured that it was normal in some women.

However, both of you didn’t expect the pregnancy to get harder than what people said it would have been. Your mom even said that what you are going through isn’t what she did. You are through your third trimester and nothing changed. Eventually your midwife came to put fluids in you since you couldn’t hold anything in. Throwing up was your new aesthetic. It got harder for you to work so you had to quit your job and stay home. Best friends with your toilet, you slept there day and night until your body grew bigger.

Simon was ordered from Price to stay home until the baby arrived and settled. Price heard from Simon about how the pregnancy has been not the best. You been up all night not being able to sleep from being too hot to throwing up to not being comfortable. Which caused Simon not to sleep, due to being worried about you. He would hold your hair up if you were too tired to even notice it was falling inside the toilet. Simon would wash your hair as you cried. Shushing you to keep you from having a panic attack.

You hated all of what was happening to you where you couldn’t enjoy being pregnant. Counting the days not to see your kid but to have her out. It was like you were hating the fact of everything no that was happening. Feeling like a curse then a miracle. Simon was the opposite even though he was heartbroken to see his love going through only hardship, the thought of having a mini both of you made him warm inside. Bringing it up once had you excited until you would hurl once more.

Simon would bend over backwards for anything you needed. Needed a bath Done. Needed a craving. Done and done again. Needed to be carried to the bed. Done. Needed a belly lift. Done. Anything was possible for Simon if it was for you. Nothing would stop him from helping you.

Was it perfect? Not always. Even when you both were tired and exhausted, you would fight, he would always be right by you. No matter what the fight was about, lately things that were ridiculous.

You both finished a fight and made up as he pet your damp hair, rubbing his other hand on your swollen belly. You were laying on his chest in bed, having your belly rest on the comfort of the mattress.

Sweat consumed you, your body working overboard on making your child and keeping you from not dying from everything else. It was silent before you sobbed. You were done, nothing for you. Your feet hurt. You felt like a whale. And your husband hated you. You’ve been only a bitch since you got pregnant and you were done.

You kept repeating in your head that he truly didn’t want to be here that you were just an excuse of a wife. That he never wanted to help you. That he wished you were gone. All because he didn’t get you your pebble ice. Simon had to leave the house for a while and what did he bring back? The stupid fucking ice. You called him a coward for leaving and not say anything about you said just for him to gift you?

Simon’s heart broke when your son burst out, your body shaking. Concern written on his face as he made your face turn to him. “Love what’s wrong?”

You cried harder as you laid your face in his shirt. “I want her out. And I feel terrible that I don’t want to do this anymore. That I have been a bitch. That I can’t stop throwing up. That this whole pregnancy hasn’t been what people have been saying.” He listened to you rubbing your back in soothing patterns. “I’ve been a terrible wife. I can’t believe I have been awful to you. You only been kind and generous and loving.”

Simon shook his head. “I could never do what you are doin’ dove,” He said quickly as he rubbed your shoulders. “This pregnancy is not been the best for ya.”

You sobbed harder as you clenched your hands into his shirt. Simon started to hush you quietly and soothingly. “You don’t deserve me.”

Simon froze from the comment, he used to say that to you at the beginning of your relationship. Telling you that he is a monster and that he would plague you with his darkness. That you were the angel and he was a demon, instead you showed him that he was the opposite. He was just lost in a broken world of his. Simon knew you were not like this. Not confident. Angry. Negative. No, you were the opposite of all of it.

Simon scooted so he would have you sit up against the frame. “Don’t you say that.” He said sternly.

You scoffed. “It’s true, I called you mean things. I said mean nasty things that are not true. Just over ice? Like how…”

“Stop,” He said stopping you dead in your tracks. “I know you didn’t mean it. Never have you showed me that. Baby,” He watched as your lips trembled, as your skin paled. “I know you love me, you are in pain just like I was. Let me help you bring yourself back as you make our child. You’re almost there love.”

You inhaled deeply as you looked away. “I’m sorry,” You turned to him and placed your hand on his cheek. “I love you Simon.”

Simon smiled and grabbed your hand kissing your knuckles. “I love you too. This is through sickness and health yeah? We promised each other that. So that is what gonna happen.”

You laid back down on him, your heart swelled with joy. You didn’t know how you got such an amazing husband. But all you knew is that he was your soulmate and you were his.

Another month went by and the baby was in distress from your body. She would be a month and half early which could lead into problems. However since your was fighting off too many things it wanted the baby to come out. You laid in the hospital bed as they induced you to push your baby girl out. You cried as Simon held his hand on yours and a cloth against your forehead.

“You got this mama,” The gynecologist announced looking up at you. “She is almost there!”

You looked at Simon concern written on your face and his. “It’s al’ight mamas. ‘M right here.” He whispered soothing you by brushing your damp strands back.

With a couple last pushes you heard a wail. Immediately relief went through your body as you laid all the way down into the bed. You panted as nurses and the doctor tended to the baby. Simon watched back and forth between you and the baby. “Go-Go see her.” You whispered gulping air.

You watched as he gave you a concerned look then nodded. You watched as he looked over the shoulders and smiled. Your heart fluttering. One of the nurses came to look over you. She said something but you couldn’t hear her. You felt nauseous and weak, lightheadedness coming in full swing.

The nurse called out as you felt your eyes roll. After that it was dark, you felt like actual sleep took hold. When you woke up, you were in a different room in the hospital, mouth was dry. When you looked over you saw Simon asleep with your baby girl against his bare chest.

You smiled. “They have been so cute,” You turned your head to see the doctor walking in. “How are you feeling?”

You hummed and coughed a bit. “Thirsty.”

“I bet. You had a blood clot form after giving birth to your baby girl. It can be common and could cause from your body being on overdrive to fix you. You are on blood thinners so take it easy. You have a healthy baby girl, she might be a little smaller than usual but that is expected from a early birth,” she explained looking over your vitals. “Your husband knows what to do. Just get to know your baby and rest.”

That you did, Simon once again by both you and both of your baby girl. Never have you felt so much relief and love. You smiled as Simon changed her diaper humming softly to her. In sickness and health. Is all you thought of as he gave you a kiss handing you your baby girl.

surprisingly good at not freaking out given the situation at least on the outside

it all started with morning sickness

the eye opener was when you missed your period

that was almost a week ago and yet your period was no where to be found

sitting on the bed you begin to put all the pieces together 1. morning sickness 2. weak stomach 3. missing your period and not to mention the excessive peeing

your stomach dropped at the realization “CHENLE” you scream as your boyfriend runs into the room “yes babe” he says frantically, you stare at him for a second before speaking “i think im pregnant” you say as your face drains, chenles eyes go wide “ you think you’re what?…pregnant?” he asks shocked “okay hold on i’ll be right back” he says grabbing his jacket and walking to the door “where are you going” you grab his arm causing him to turn to you “i’m getting a test, just wait here and drink a lot of water” he said before walking out the door

the minutes went by rather slowly, looking at the clock ticking on the wall, finally the front door opened and chenle appeared with a box in his hand “go pee on this” he hands you the pregnancy test and you make your way to the bathroom, chenle follows you into the tiny room as you sit on the toilet “could you look away” you scoff to your boyfriend as he stares at you “when it comes to you i’ve seen all there is, just piss already” he rolls his eyes

silence fills the air as you finish you place the stick onto the counter upside down waiting for it to process, you sit next to chenle on the edge of the bathroom, looking to your boyfriend as he grabs your hand lacing his fingers with yours rubbing his thumb on the top of your hand

the five minutes are up as chenle looks to you “do you want to look first or me?” he asks, you take a deep breath walking over to the counter, hand shaking you pick up the stick turning it over as your eyes meet the word “pregnant” plastered across it, immediately chenle can tell the result by the look on your face “it’s not right, we need to buy another one, this is false” you begin to sob as you leave the bathroom in attempt to go buy more tests but before you could walk out the front door chenle grabs your arm and pulls you into a big hug “the test isn’t wrong y/n, you’re pregnant baby” he says looking down at you “all the signs were there we just looked right past them” he squeezes you a little bit as he rubs your back, your sobs begin to calm, chenle leads you over to the couch “look at me” he says lifting your chin to face him “don’t worry about anything other than this baby, i promise i will handle it all, i love you, i won’t let anything happen to you” he says looking into your eyes as he leans into a kiss

“no wait this isn’t happening” jisung says pacing the room back and forth, “im gonna die, my mother will kill me” he continues walking around the room slightly pulling on his hair as he whispers to himself about how stupid he is for getting into this situation, jisung got so caught up with himself he completely forgot about you, his heart dropped thinking about how scared you must be and his reaction isn’t helping, jisung walks over to the bed where you are sat against the headboard staring into space as a single tear rolls down your cheek“im sorry” jisung sighs “i want you to know this isn’t your fault, im not upset with you” you look to him with a blank expression “i don’t know where to go from here jisung” you say as your voice trembles “im scared” you whisper almost ashamed to admit, jisung pulls you into a hug “i’ll be right by your side with whatever you decide. i’ll support you no matter what baby”

🍎 - at first lucifer was terrified of proposing to you. you and his relationship was great and you were the best boyfriend he could have asked for but that didn't stop him from being a nervous wreck!

🐥 - he went into the hotel himself to talk to charlie about it, when she heard he was planning to propose she was ecstatic! but she knew her dad was a nervous wreck but that's okay, he decided to bring you after proposing to get his daughters blessing after all shes barely met you!

You and Lucifer anxiously stood outside of the hotel owned by his beloved daughter, soon to become your beloved daughter as well. You were nervous as hell to ask Charlie but Lucifer knew she would be happy for him. It had been seven years since he and Lilith had split and she would just be glad he's healed enough to get into another marriage. Lucifer finally knocks after a good five minutes and not long after Charlie opens the door.

“Oh! Hi dad! What's up? Is everything okay?” Charlie quickly asks, looking over towards you. “Oh sorry I didn't notice you, hello (name)!” she smiles at you. “Hello dear you remember what I mentioned earlier this month right?” she seems to ponder for a minute before it clicks. “Oh my gosh! Did it happen?!” she excitedly squeaks out and Lucifer nods. “And we've come here to get your blessing seeing as our marriage would make him your other father.” he says and Charlie nods inviting you in. “Eeee this is so exciting! I'm so happy for you guys! Also of course you have my blessing! When do we start planning the wedding?!” she says, grabbing her fathers hands with a big smile and he just smiles back. “Well it sorta of just happened so it might be a while.” you piped in.

“Oh okay! I’m super excited anyways!” she said before turning around. “VAGGIE COME HERE!” she yells for her girlfriend and Vaggie quickly comes. “What? Is everything okay?!” she says holding her spear. “Everything's fine! My dad and his boyfriend are getting married!” she says pointing you and Lucifer out. You were both holding hands, the rings visible on your fingers. Vaggie smiles at her girlfriend excited as she jumps up and down. “That's lovely, I hope everything goes well for you guys.” you smile and nod. “Thank you!” Lucifer is currently still clinging to you happily. God you can't wait to marry this idiot.

👑 Clearly you were too young to be in a situation like this, but theres no way he's giving you back without a reward, so yes he still holds you for ransom.

He is such a gentleman, omg, I can't even

If you need something done, this man will do it for you with no hesitation. You’re important to him, and he wants to make sure you know that.

He’s probably not overly affectionate unless you two are completely alone. Once the gang had caught you both cuddling on the couch, and they had teased him for weeks afterwards.

In public, he’ll hold your hand and give you the occasional kiss, but nothing too extreme. He likes to keep your moments together private; they mean a lot to him, and he’s not just going to give the people around you the pleasure of seeing him so vulnerable.

At night, he’ll definitely hold you close while you two sleep.

He’s like a furnace, so who needs blankets when you’ve got Darry to keep you warm?

Arguments don’t happen often between the two of you, but when they do, they’re usually pretty bad. Give him a few hours to cool off, and then he’ll be holding you from behind and mumbling muffled apologies into your ear as he peppers your neck with small kisses.

Lots of massages and baths together. He works a lot, and his muscles are almost always tense, so having that time to relax and wind down with you is just what he needs.

He’s not the overly jealous type. Sure, if he thinks someone is getting a little too friendly with you, he’ll come up and try to take you away from them, but he isn’t going to stop you from interacting with someone completely just because he can’t control himself.

Date nights aren’t very common. In between work and taking care of his brothers, Darry doesn’t get much free time, but when he does, you best believe he is spending it with you, showing you how much he loves and appreciates you.

He’ll take you to dinner or for a drive in his truck just to get away from the house for a little while.

Sodapop and Ponyboy love you. Like they love you. They will cling to you the second they meet you, and you’ll never be able to get rid of them.

I’m not even going to pretend he doesn’t have a picture of you in his wallet. He does, and he’s proud of it.

Constantly complimenting each other. Not a day will go by where he hasn’t complimented you at least ten times. He just needs you to know how perfect you are.

You stopped him from yelling at Ponyboy so much.

When you first brought it up, you definitely argued for a little while about the subject. He just wants what's best for his brother, and you telling him that he needs to lay off is probably going to spark something defensive within him.

He doesn't say ‘I love you’ very often, usually whispering it late into the night or early in the morning when you two are laying in bed and tangled with each other, but he always ensures that you know how much he cares and appreciates you.

Needless to say, Darry will not let you go away feeling unloved.

Avery's been a mouse since Steve picked her up from school. 

"What's wrong with your sister?" he asks Bethie.

Bethie, sitting carefully on the counter with a picture book in her lap, glances up. "Which one?" 

Steve nods toward Avery where she's sulking at the kitchen table. 

"I don't know," Bethie says, frowning.

Steve washes the last plate in the sink and puts it with the rest of the dishes on the draining board. He wipes his hands dry and lifts Bethie off of the counter without a word. She squirms under his arm but doesn't complain, only clambers into the chair next to Avery and turns back to her book. He runs his hand over her hair lovingly. 

You appear in the doorway with a freshly changed Dove in your arms. You're kissing her forehead in the same place over and over, and you both look ridiculously happy. He falls in love for the millionth time. 

There's nothing to do until dinner is ready, so Steve sits himself down in the chair next to Avery's at their huge dinner table and holds out his hand. 

She passes hers over reluctantly. 

"Ave," he says, covering her small hand in both of his, hiding it away, "you okay, baby?" 

She nods miserably. 

You look up from your lovefest, mildly alarmed by his question. "What?" 

Steve gets more worried than some parents would think is reasonable when the girls draw in on themselves, and the older Avery gets, the more complicated her emotions. It's like she's learning new knots and Steve's desperately trying to untangle them, neither of them with any instructions. 

He doesn't ask, maybe he should, but after a while you get used to just picking your kids up. Steve slides his hands under Avery's armpits and pulls her cleanly into his lap, the soft cotton of her nightie pooling under her. It's too long. She's still so small. 

Safely transported to his thigh, Steve wraps Avery in a proper dad hug, biceps sealing her in. 

"There's no escaping me," he says quietly. He rubs her back. "Now tell me, what's going on with my Ave? You feeling okay?" 

"I'm fine." 

"I don't want you to be fine, baby, I want you to be good," he says gently. "Me and mom can't fix everything, but we can try."

She squints at him. Steve starts to think he might be laying it on thick for no reason, and that Avery's simply tired from a long week. He twists his neck and tilts his head to face her, her ear pressed to the place under his heart. She turns her nose into his t-shirt and sniffs. It takes Steve a moment to realise she's crying, her tiny shoulders shaking beneath his hand. 

He's shocked. His gaze jumps to yours and you tuck Dove under your chin, pulling an impossibly agile mom-move to squat by his side. 

"Avery?" you ask softly.

Steve is used to tantrums. Softer moments like this aren't as easy to manage. Avery isn't sobbing because she's overwhelmed, or because she isn't getting her way, she's crying with no source in sight. She's sad. Steve pulls her tight to his chest and starts to dot kisses into her hair, rubbing a useless line up and down the short length of her arm. 

"What's the matter?" he asks, regrettably ruined by his daughter's emotions. "Tell daddy." 

"You know Pauline's mommy got a dee-vorce?" she asks. 

You nudge in. "What did she get, baby?" 

"A dee-vorce." 

"A divorce," you say thoughtfully. "And what do you think of that?" 

She pulls her face from Steve's shirt, cheeks shining with tears, and struggles to talk. "I don't want you to get one too," she breathes out. 

"Sweetheart, we're not," you say. 

"Because Pauline said her dad's moving away," she continues, looking up at Steve with a startling, crushing desperation. "You have to stay here." 

Steve's eyes widen, and he laughs though it's absolutely not what he means to do. He wants to be the serious and sincere father, the kind who reassures with a strong, unwavering passion. But he's shocked, and a little freaked. He doesn't like seeing his baby wound up. 

"Avery, I'm not going anywhere. Never ever," he stresses. 

"But I–" 

"I love your mom so much I'd cry all the time if we weren't together, you know that? I can't live without mommy." 

"Right," you rush to say, "me and daddy love each other more than anything." 

"Paulie said that her mommy said that, that they still love each other but her daddy has to go. I don't–" Poor Avery starts breathing shallow, eyes locked onto Steve's face with more urgency than he knows how to handle. "I don't want you to go." 

He has to fight tears. 

"Avery," he says. He takes her face into both hands. "Avery, listen to me. I'm not going anywhere."

Dove starts fussing and the tension of Avery's breakdown abates enough for Steve to remember Bethie at the table, staring at the hubbub in quiet unhappiness. You put Dove down and she wanders off, your freed hands reaching for Avery's bare legs. You press your thumbs into her knees, sighing. "Sweetheart, sometimes parents move away, and it's very sad. Pauline must be really scared right now, and you have to be extra nice to her because she needs it but," —you shake her little legs— "me and dad are forever, okay? Please don't worry about it. I promise daddy isn't going anywhere, I can't imagine it." 

Steve can't imagine it either, a life different than this. He takes care of his girls every single day. They cry and they smile and they laugh, it's the most precious thing on earth. There isn't a reality where he willingly leaves. He can't imagine a life without your hair tickling his cheeks in the morning when he wakes, without Avery's shrieking laughter under his squeezing hands, without Bethie's too smart smiles as he reads to her, or without the sleeping weight of Dove against his chest at nap time. Everyday like clockwork, he wants this life.

"You're staying here?" Avery asks him, looking up.

He glances between her and Beth and you, catches sight of the back of Dove's head where she's talking nonsense to the teddy in her lap across the kitchen.

"I'm staying here. I'm not going anywhere," he says. It's an easy promise.
