I'm so pleased with the Tolkien stickers I got from Redbubble to jazz up my 2024 Writing Notebook! Since my writing for 2024 is going to be Tolkien dominant (probably even exclusive), these designs were fitting.

The sticker art representing my 3 main blorbos, Legolas (along with Thranduil and Thranduilions), Éomer, and Boromir, are by the amazing @emilybeemartin.

The Tolkien estate symbol art is by Vishual Nair, an artist on Redbubble.

I love Moleskine notebooks, though I've been using Leuchtturm bullet journals these last couple of years. I'm happy to return to this softcover style!

Looking forward to filling this one with fanfic notes, outlines, lists, and SECRETS!

Hythlodaeus. Sweet, nice and kind friend who was near ancient Idra most of his life together with Emet-Selch. He sucrificed himself to Zodiark so his most dear ones will live on. At least he hoped so. But... What if he didn't do that. What if he surviwed the Sundering? What would he become? Acording to our game director Yoshi-P, Hythlodaeus would join Ascians — a shadow organization created but Emet-Selch and two other unsundered ancients. And we were lucky that Hythlodaeud didn't do so. Because as an Ascian he would be really fearsome one.

And I was glad to draw thid cinnamon roll again. More of it to draw him in this "evil organization" outfit. But no matter what I love him and liked him from the first time he showed up in the game.

here’s a spread in my commonplace notebook! i’m currently using the a6/pocket size leuchtturm1917 dot grid notebook. i was using field notes but wasn’t a big fan of how small they are in terms of how many pages. i like a book that’s a little thicker, so i grabbed this book i had on my shelf for years and just never used and instantly loved this book. we will see how long this one lasts, i end up switching books super often. if you wanna see my other systems/journals let me know! ……i have…..too many books…. 🤧

this is my new system. did bullet journaling, got burnt out by it. did notion, find it too hard for my brain to focus. have made my own filofax by just buying a cheapo a5 ringbinder and relying heavily on cute lil index cards. this is working!!
