Hey! I have a request. Could you write something where Wanda has been a bit stressed with work, and R had the flu. R doesn't want to add to Wanda's stress, so R hides their sickness. R has to go and do something outside for whatever reason (even though Wanda protests) and when R comes back in, their so delirious and out of it, they tell Wanda they feel sick, even though they don't really know what's going on. Thank you for your time!

Wanda had spent the last few days battling a nasty case of the flu. She had been feeling weak and achy and was fighting a fever which just wouldn't break, no matter how hard you tried. But she was finally starting to feel better and had even managed to drag herself into her online work that morning. Unfortunately, she’d quickly realised that she was behind schedule on her reports. For some dumb reason Fury had decided to shorten the deadline and now she was quickly running out of time to complete them all.
She tried to focus on her work, but her head was still a bit fuzzy from the fever. She kept having to stop and reread things, and it was taking her twice as long as it should have. She could feel her stress levels rising as the clock ticked on and her to-do list seemed to be getting longer rather than shorter. And despite your best efforts to keep her calm, every little thing only seemed to add to the growing pile of stress pressing down on her. That was probably why you hadn't even registered the aching feeling in your bones, you were far too busy.
But as the day went on, you couldn't ignore the sick feeling that was slowly creeping up on you. Your head was starting to throb, and your throat was beginning to feel scratchy. You tried to push through it, but every time you stood up to grab something, you found yourself feeling dizzy and disoriented.
Around noon you'd decided to make some tea and that's when you'd first noticed it, the weakness in your arm as you went to lift the kettle. That’s when it really clicked for you that you were getting sick, and you had to stifle an annoyed groan. Of course you’d caught it from her. Just great... But it wasn't exactly like you had the time to dwell on it – if you did you’d only end up alerting Wanda to your condition, which was the last thing you wanted, especially when she was already so stressed with her work, so instead you finished up the tea and came to sit beside Wanda in the living room, attempting to clear a space on the coffee table between the piles of paperwork and files to place her mug down.
You could see the frustration and exhaustion written all over her face as she loudly tapped on the laptop settled on her knees. It made your heart ache. You knew that she was the type of person who hated falling behind on her work, especially when deadlines were involved.
Wanda looked up from her laptop and smiled weakly as you placed the mug of tea in front of her. "Thank you," she murmured before turning her attention back to her work. You settled down beside her, trying to ignore the growing ache in your bones. You really didn't want to worry Wanda, especially since she was already stressed enough as it was. "How's your day going?" She asked casually, her voice still a little hoarse from days of coughing.
You shrugged. "Busy, but nothing I can't handle," You replied, trying to sound optimistic, “Can I do anything else for you though sweetheart?” you offered sweetly as you reached out to gently squeeze her thigh.
“Is there any way you could help me with these?” She motioned to the stacks of paper littering the coffee table, “I know it wasn’t your mission but I’m so far behind and Fury’s going to have my head chopped off and hung up for public display if I don’t get this all done.”
You nodded, Fury was known for being strict with deadlines, “Okay baby, do you want me to look over these?” You asked, picking up one of the denser files.
“That’d be amazing.” Wanda sighed in relief as she leant over to kiss your cheek, “You’re doing me such a huge favour baby.”
As you both started working on the reports, you could feel your own weakness and fatigue growing with every passing minute, not to mention the constant feeling like your nose was running leading you to sniffle quietly every so often. But you pushed through it, determined to help Wanda get her work done. Much to your annoyance, over the next few hours, your sniffles only increased, and you were frequently having to take breaks to go and discreetly blow your nose in another room. On a normal occasion you would’ve told Wanda the second you began to feel like something was off, but you knew that telling her would only stress her out further and there was no way you wanted to do that. So, you stayed painfully silent about the growing pressure in your sinuses and continued to diligently help Wanda with her work.
As the day wore on, you could feel the exhaustion starting to take its toll on you. Your body felt heavy, and your mind was starting to feel foggy. You knew you should probably take a break and rest, but you didn't want to let her down so when Wanda suggested taking a break, you instantly jumped on the opportunity.
By the time the two of you were going to bed, you felt thoroughly exhausted. Even just moving felt like a monumental task and you had to fight to stay awake as you brushed your teeth. By some miracle, you managed to finish getting ready for bed without falling asleep, it was just as you were giving yourself a final look over in the mirror when you felt the annoying itch in your sinuses.
“Hh'ishu! Ish'chu! HeH’TSHiew!” Despite your best efforts to stay quiet, your last sneeze ended up being on the louder side prompting Wanda to call out a ‘bless you!’ from the bedroom. You waited hesitantly to see whether she’d say anything else, but it seemed her poor mind was too preoccupied with the looming work of tomorrow for her to connect the dots, so you took the opportunity to thoroughly blow your nose before padding back into your bedroom.
“You tired my love?” Wanda asked, as you sank into the bed, welcoming the warmth of your blankets, “Thanks for helping me out so much today.”
“A little.” You mumbled – ‘a little’ was a huge understatement, “and you don’t need to thank me darling, I just want you to be able to get all this work done.”
“You helped a lot. I'm really thankful.” Wanda murmured quietly as she yawned widely before nuzzling against you, “Goodnight baby.”
“Goodnight Wands.”
〘✧✧✧〙
When you woke up the next morning the bed was cold. Painfully cold. You rolled over into the spot where Wanda would usually be led, only to be met with an empty bed. You felt awful, you’d barely opened your eyes when you were struck with a harsh, painful headache nestled deep behind them. Groaning, you tried to sit up, though admittedly it did numerous attempts, and you began slowly massaging temples in a feeble attempt of getting some form of relief.
Pulling your aching body out of bed seemed almost impossible but you did it anyway, trying to take a deep breath as the room span around you. There was no way you were getting properly dressed today, instead you opted to pull on one of Wanda’s fuzzy cardigans instead before heading over to the bathroom.
You really should’ve prepared yourself better for the reflection staring back at you in the mirror. You looked awful. Thick purple bags hung beneath your red, tired eyes, only extenuated further by your sickly, white skin. You hadn’t even had the chance to criticise your fever flushed cheeks before your sinuses reared their complaints and sent you bending at the waist with two strong sneezes only to be followed by a harsh bout of thick coughing which left you trembling and breathless.
After the coughing fit subsided, you stumbled over to the sink and splashed some water on your face. The cool liquid brought a small measure of relief to your pounding head, but it wasn't enough to stop the dizziness from overwhelming you. You leaned heavily against the counter, willing the room to stop spinning. Humouring yourself, you decided to take your own temperature and even that was a huge task, especially when you weren’t able to breathe out of your overly stuffy nose.
However, you managed to hold your breath long enough for the small device to beep loudly, announcing its verdict.
“Oh shit...” You mumbled to yourself, looking down at the numbers on the slightly blurry electronic screen. 39.1 - that really wasn’t good, truthfully it wasn’t just the screen that was blurry, everything around you seemed to be muffled by a thick wall of cotton and you only found yourself cursing again when you opened the bathroom cupboard to see an almost-empty bottle of Flu medicine sitting on the shelf.
Wanda had used the last of it.
Great.
Speaking of. You wished Wanda was here. You needed her more than ever, you craved her comfort and longed for her to tuck you up into bed but no, you were stuck here staring at your pitiful reflection, feeling like death warmed over. Just as you were about to call out for her something stopped you.
She still had her work to do, calling out for her now would only distract her. Muffling another round of harsh, chesty coughs into your sleeve only made tears well up in your eyes. But you didn't cry. You only sniffled and reminded yourself that you were an Avenger too. You might not have powers, but you had resilience and determination, and you weren't going to let the flu defeat you. You just had to toughen up. How far even was the shop anyway? All you needed to do was go out and by yourself some medicine. That’s all you needed to do.
Taking a deep breath, you pulled yourself away from the bathroom counter and slowly made your way to the door. The room spun as you tried to focus on the hallway in front of you. Every step felt like a marathon, your body ached and shivered with every move. But you pushed on, driven by the desire to get better and not let this illness get the better of you.
Ignoring Wanda’s call of ‘goodmorning’ from the kitchen, you reached the front door, opening to only be blinded by the intense light beaming down from the blue sky. It was a beautiful day, the kind of day you would usually spend outside, enjoying the warmth and taking in the sights of the city. But today, all you could think of was getting to the pharmacy and getting back to bed.
With shaky hands, you stepped outside, continuing to ignore Wanda’s calls of confusion. The cool air hit you instantly, and you shuddered, pulling the cardigan tighter around yourself. The pharmacy was only a few blocks away, but each step felt like an eternity. You could feel your temperature rising, your head pounding, and your breathing becoming more and more laboured.
You didn’t know how long you were walking for before you decided to turn back, everything was too much, the light, your wheezing exhausted breathing, everything. Hell, you could barely make out your own hand in front of your pale face as the world spun around you. It was a miracle you’d even made it this far without collapsing.
And so, by the time you’d stumbled back into the safety of your home, all your energy had been thoroughly drained, and you clutched the wall for support, knowing it was the only thing keeping you upright.
“Sweetie? Where did you go?” Wanda called out as the sound of the door closing echoed through your home, hearing no answer, the witch stood up from the table and slowly padded over to peek round the corner only to frantically rush to your side when she saw you leaning weakly against the wall for support, “Oh my god, Y/N?! Holy shit, you’re on fire, why on earth were you outside? When did you get this sick? Fuck Y/N-”
Truthfully, you were only hearing about half of the worried words frantically spilling from her, you were too busy on attempting to keep yourself lucid which was proving to be a very difficult task when the room around you wouldn’t stop spinning, “We need’d med’cine.” Your words came out in a jumbled mess as Wanda pulled you into her arms, cradling your trembling body.
“No, no baby you need to be in bed. Why didn’t you tell me you were feeling sick? When did you even get sick? This can’t be new.” Her anxious tone was impossible to miss as you felt yourself being lifted up into her arms as she carried you in the direction of your bedroom, “Why didn’t I notice this...”
“Yo’ were busy wit’ work.” Your slurred word were barely decipherable and you soon felt yourself being lowered down onto the familiar softness of your bed; a thick blanket being tucked over your shaking body.
Wanda’s face was etched with worry as she looked down at you, “No, I should have noticed. I’m so sorry, sweetheart. My work is nowhere near as important as your health is.” She pressed a cool hand to your sweat-soaked forehead, “You’re beyond burning up...”
Your response was only a mutter of unaudiable words as Wanda quickly rushed out of the room. It felt like she was gone for hours, but in reality, it was only probably a few minutes. But when she returned, she was tightly clutching a small bottle in her hands, “I got this from the neighbours, it isn’t too strong but it’s the only thing we have on hand.”
“Mm?” you tried sitting up, but a firm hand kept you in place.
“No baby, lay down. I just need you to drink this, okay?” Wanda’s words soothed you as she poured out a dose of the medicine and held it to your lips, rubbing your back as you sipped it weakly.
The medicine was bitter and made you scrunch up your face, but you were too weak to protest. Wanda continued to stroke your hair and hum a gentle tune, trying to calm you down as the medicine began to take effect. Gradually, you felt the heat in your body subside a little and your breathing became easier.
“Poor baby, I'm so sorry that I got caught up in all that work.” She whispered quietly, reaching over to grab some tissues when you began fussing with your running nose.
She must’ve been physic or something because only seconds later, you felt your nose burn with that pestering itch again and you only had to energy to turn your head away in the opposite direction to her before...
““Ihsheiueww! Hih...hihhEHHHSHIEW!”
“Awh my poor baby, bless you.” Wanda sighed, taking another handful of tissues to wipe your face before running her hand through your slightly-damp hair, “This bug’s really doing a number on you, isn’t it?”
You could only manage a weak nod in response, feeling utterly drained and exhausted. But as Wanda continued to care for you, you couldn't help but feel grateful for her presence. Her gentle touch and soothing words were the only things keeping you grounded in reality.
As the medicine began to take full effect, you felt your eyes start to droop and your body relax into the mattress. Wanda must have noticed because she leaned down to press a soft kiss to your forehead before whispering, "Get some rest, my love. I'll be right here with you."
And with those words, you allowed yourself to drift off into a peaceful slumber, feeling safe and comforted in Wanda's loving embrace.
The next time you opened your eyes, the room was dark, and you could see the faint outline of Wanda sitting in a chair beside you, still keeping a watchful eye. She must have fallen asleep at some point because her head was resting against the back of the chair, her breathing slow and steady. You didn't want to wake her, but your throat was parched, and you needed water.
You mustered up all your strength to croak out her name, "Wanda?"
She stirred slightly and opened her eyes, rubbing them to adjust to the dim light. "Hey there, how are you feeling?" she asked softly.
"Thirsty," you managed to say, your gravelly voice barely above a whisper.
Wanda immediately stood up and grabbed a glass of water from the bedside table. She helped you sit up and slowly raised the glass to your lips, supporting your head with her other hand. The cool water felt heavenly on your parched throat, and you gulped it down greedily.
"Thanks," you said, your voice a bit stronger now.
Wanda smiled, "Anything for you, my love."
You settled back down into the bed, feeling a bit more comfortable now that you had some water in your system. Wanda pulled the covers up to your chin and tucked you in, her hand lingering on your forehead to check your temperature.
"You're still warm," she noted. "But your fever has gone down a little, I was seriously debating taking you to hospital earlier y’know.”
The next few days were a blur of fever dreams and fits of coughing, but Wanda remained by your side throughout it all. She made sure you were always comfortable, bringing you hot soup and a cool washcloth to soothe your burning forehead.
Despite the pain and discomfort, there was something oddly comforting about being so vulnerable around Wanda. She never judged you or made you feel weak for being sick. Instead, she loved and cared for you even more, making you feel truly cherished.
As the days passed, your symptoms gradually began to subside, and you started to feel more like yourself again. Wanda was always at your side, encouraging you to take it slow and rest as much as possible.
Finally, the day came when you felt strong enough to get out of bed and move around a little. You stumbled into the living room, feeling a little unsteady on your feet, but Wanda was there to catch you.
"Easy there," she said, smiling gently. "How are you feeling?"
"Better," you replied, your voice still a little raspy from all the constant coughing. "Thanks to you."
Wanda's smile widened, and she pulled you into a warm embrace. "I'm just glad you're feeling better," she whispered. "I was so worried about you."
You hugged her back, feeling a sense of gratitude wash over you. Despite the illness, it had brought you even closer to Wanda, and you knew that you would always have her by your side, no matter what.

Playing pretend
Pairings: Wanda Maximoff x daughter!reader
age: 8
Summary: today was meant to be a very fun day for you, however when you wake up sick you try to hide it from your mama
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today was your favorite day of the week. It was lab day with Tony. None of the other avengers would want to spend a whole day locked in a lab with a genius, but you were also a genius. At the age of 8 you had earned your space in the avengers compound as a child progidy. You were even designing your very own suit. Nothing could go wrong today.
Except for the fact that you got sick. You woke up chilled to the bone, feeling like there was a block of cement in your sinuses and with an annoying tingle in your nose that made you want to-
“Hih’tiishiew!” you sneezed down your hands.
No, you couldn’t just miss lab day. Maybe if you put some makeup on Tony wouldn’t notice, maybe if you stifled your sneezes and coughs, maybe if no one touched your skin. Yeah, it couldn’t be that hard right?
“Miss L/N, Miss Maximoff requires your presence in the compound kitchen, your breakfast is ready.” Friday announced.
Oh crap. Wanda was your mentor and mother figure ever since you moved to the avengers compound at the age of 3, she was your mama and she loved you so much. She could understand what you were thinking without you needing to say it. Not because of her powers, she would never read your mind without permission, but because of the deep connection you two shared. So hiding the fact that you were sick from Tony was easy, however hiding it from Wanda would be difficult.
“FRIDAY? Tell mama i’m on my way- H’tsschoo! Hhup’tshiew!”
“Bless you, miss L/N. Your body temperature is currently at 38.4. I believe miss Maximoff should be alerted of your condition.”
“No Friday! i’ll be alright!! please don’t tell her!”
Hurrying up you put on your clothes, blew your nose and put on a little makeup, you were looking far from healthy, but it was better than nothing.
Entering the elevator you encountered Kate who was headed to training. The young archer was like a big sister for you and she immediately picked up that something was off.
“Good morning kitten, are you heading for breakfast?” Kate asked, joy clear in her words as she spoke to you.
“Yeah.” you said, lacking your usual bubbly energy.
“Well, a birdie told me that today is lab day, so you must be excited right?” She said, trying to lighten the mood.
“Yeah, it’s gonna be fun.” You answered bluntly.
Kate was about to point out how congested you sounded when you suddenly ducked your head in your elbow to contain a set of sneezes.
“Bless you Y/N! are you feeli-“
“Never better!! gotta go! bye Katie have a good day!”
Just as she was about to feel your forehead the door to the elevator opened. You knew she was just worried about you, but nothing could make you lay down today.
Entering the kitchen you got surprised by the fact that your mama had made you waffles. They were your favorite and she only made them on special days.
“Good morning detka, did you sleep well?”
“Good morning mama, is there something special today?”
“Well, you were so excited for your lab day that I decided to make you a little treat, did you like it?”
“Yes mama!! thank you so much!!”
While you were excited because of the waffles, you almost didn’t notice Wanda approaching you, and when you did noticed it was too late. Your fever clouded brain wasn’t fast enough to avoid the kiss on the cheek that she gave you every morning.
As soon as her lips touched your warm cheek, the smile Wanda had on soon turned into a frown and you knew there was no turning back now.
“Baby, you feel warm, are you feeling okay?”
You tried to answer properly however, your nose had other plans.
“I feel fi -Hh- fine -Hh’k-tshhiew! Heh’iiishiew! Hh..H..HHitsshiew!”
“Bless you Y/N!” She exclaimed, worry clear in her tone as she spoke, “I think you’re getting sick honey, I’m afraid we’re gonna have to postpone your day with Tony.”
“You’re overreacting! I’m fine!!” While trying to prove Wanda that you weren’t sick, your breath got caught in your throat, sending you into a harsh coughing fit.
“Calm down baby, just breathe.” Wanda began rubbing circles on your back. She could feel your lungs rattling with every cough.
As your fit ended, the witch looked deep into your eyes, a loving look that showed affection. “Y/N, I know how excited you were. I know you had plans for today and that you don’t want to cancel them. However, we need to get you feeling better, because you’re not gonna have much fun if you’re feeling yucky the whole time right?”
At the mentioning of canceling your plans, you could already feel tears pricking your eyes. “But mama, I can go! i’m not feeling that bad I swe-“ Your body betrayed you once more as you sneezed twice on your elbow, the action bringing another coughing fit.
With a swift of her hand, Wanda gave you a cup of water while rubbing your back. “Shh, drink it slowly detka.” As your coughing subsided she finally reached out to feel your forehead, feeling your raging fever.
“Jesus Y/N, you’re burning up love! please just lay down for me.”
“But I really wanted to go…” you said, your voice trembling both because of your emotions, and because of your chills.
“I understand your frustration. You can go once you’re feeling better. C’mon, i’m going to take care of you.” Wanda spoke tenderly. She effortlessly picked you up and your exhaustion made you lay your head on her shoulder.
Exiting the kitchen you both stumbled across Kate, who interrupted her training and came to check up on you.
“I think she’s got a cold, but she’ll be alright.” Wanda explained to the archer. “Call me if you need any help!” Kate offered, and you knew she would drop everything to take care of you. Luckily, all of the avengers loved and protected you and you felt safe around them.
In your hazy state, you only noticed you weren’t in your room when your mama placed you in her bed. “That’s your room.” You said with your already hoarse voice. “Yes baby, it’s going to be easier to take care of you here.” Wanda answered while rummaging in the bathroom looking for some medicine and a thermometer.
Retrieving everything she needed, Wanda walked back into the room only to find you in your adorable pre sneeze expression. Your breath hitched for a second before your body gave in to the itch, “Hh’tshh! Hh’itshhiew!”
“Can I say bless you now? I didn’t want to interrupt you.” She joked, her tone softening as she approached you, gently moving the hair which had fallen infront of your face and offering you some tissues.
You blew your nose and cleaned your hands before Wanda spoke: “I really need to take your temperature and give you some medicine, can you help me with that?” you nodded slowly, rubbing your eyes. Mama pressed a kiss to your temples as she slid the thermometer under your tongue.
It was only a minute before the device beeped. Reading the tiny numbers Wanda frowned, “39.2, that’s a bit too high, detka.”
you hummed, not really absorbing what was being said to you. The witch gave you a cup of Nyquil and some paracetamol before tucking you under the duvet and laying by your side.
As she massaged your scalp, you found that you couldn’t keep your eyes open anymore, before you gave in to your exhaustion you got closer to Wanda. “I love you mama, thank you for taking care of me.” you said as you closed your eyelids.
Giving one more kiss to your forehead, the witch answered: “I love you baby, mama will always take care of you.”
The Spiders Sister - Chapter 1
Summary: Reader gets caught hiding out in the avengers tower. In the end it turns out for the best.
TW: non-sexual nudity, illness, fainting, swearing
Words: 4.1K
A/n: Super long first chapter
маленький паук – Little Spider
It defiantly wasn’t part of your life plan to be living with your bother again in your adulthood.
You had spent an excellent few months on your own having finally moved out of May Parker’s apartment, it had been perfect. Well … as perfect as life could be for a parker.
Then … you guessed it … parker luck struck again. There was a huge fight, one you had been itching to join but your brother, peter parker, had it covered. And since nobody knew that you sometimes wore the spider-man suit when peter wasn’t able to, it would all be over if two Spider-Man’s ended up fighting some of the weird aliens that had invaded New York.
You see, you and your brother had more in common than most siblings did. Peter parker had been bitten by a radioactive spider on a school trip as was known to a few people. But, at the same time, you had been eighteen and chaperoning the field trip.
When peter had snuck off to the side you had gone after him. When he was bitten, so were you.
But for now, you had decided to try and stay away from the superhero lifestyle. But when the itch came, peter lent you his suit so you could scratch it.
You had helped him refine his web-fluid and had your own web shooters as well as one of his old suits just in case. May knew about you and peter after finding out a while ago. However, peter and you had kept everything about your existence from the avengers so you could live a semi-normal life. At least for now.
But the day the avengers were fighting off the aliens, New York had taken some heavy damage. You had been running a small illustration business out of your apartment in queens. Your apartment … which was now levelled in the fight was gone. Along with your business.
Since you had moved out young, May only had one spare bedroom in her apartment which peter was occupying. Leaving the Parker’s with one option.
As peter had a room in the avenger's tower, you could stay there or with aunt may. Peter being Peter didn’t want to ask tony if he could stay in the tower for the unforeseeable future without arousing questions. So, you had been secretly living in the tower for about three days now.
Peter brought you food and had bribed Jarvis to keep your existence a secret. You had his old suit if you wanted to leave the tower, you could swing away instead of walking through the building and getting caught.
It was a pretty solid plan and it had been working pretty well. Until the day you got sick.
Peters' bedroom in the tower was on the floor with the other avengers, meaning you had to be somewhat quiet so Natasha, clint or the others didn’t find you. But it had begun to get colder out, and Peters old suit didn’t have a heater. It had been made before tony had found out spiders, including peter and yourself, can't thermoregulate. And swinging around New York without a heater in the nippy winter air had left you with a pretty nasty cold.
Unlike peter your powers didn’t give you super healing. In fact, your powers differed from peters in more ways than one. For one thing you had small fangs which you could retract, they didn’t do much, but they were cool, and peter was mildly jealous. Another thing was you had taken on aspects of jumping spiders as you could jump higher due to your super strength and some weird spider quality peter lacked.
Like peter the bit had given your excellent eyesight, increased metabolism, a lack of thermoregulation, the weird sticky thing, the spider sense and super strength and the allergy to peppermint. But due to sharing the suit anytime you went out as “Spider-Man” you had to refrain from using your own unique powers, so you didn’t give anything away.
The thermoregulating thing may have finally come back to bite you now that you were in peters old suit. After taking one of his patrols for him so he could finish his assignment and you could get out of his room in the tower, the cold had made you sick. Heres the thing about having a high metabolism when you don’t have an increased healing factor. It went one of two ways. Either you had flash colds which were taken care of quickly and at a much faster rate than the average human, or if it was stronger than your immune system, it was quickly made into a bigger problem than it should have been due to your body processing things faster and speeding up its strength.
Anytime this had happened in the past, due to not being able to go to a regular hospital, you had thanked the gods for May choosing a career in nursing. Though she had been able to treat you superficially with regular medicine and not anything made for super soldiers or spiders as that was a Bruce banner specialty that was unique to the tower's med bay. So, you often just had to ride it out and if things got really bad, peter would try and smuggle you some of his medicine out of the tower for you.
So, this is where you ended up. Curled up in Peters bed in the tower, stifling rough sounding coughs into his pillow and making a mental note to wash his sheets soon. You were doing your best to remain quiet and not alert either of the super spies to your presence or any of the other avengers. You thanked Thor that only you and peter had super hearing which meant you could usually tell if someone was in the halls.
Feeling miserable you buried yourself further into the sheets and shivered, it was so cold but in reality, you probably had a high fever. Your lungs let out a wheezing noise whenever you exhaled, and you were beginning to think maybe your asthma was back. Unlike peter you had not been so lucky as to have had it cured by the bite.
Your asthma puffer was one of the few things that survived your apartment being destroyed. As you laid in bed feeling awful you thought back to that day.
You thanked the gods you had been out at the time. You had gone to a coffee shop downtown with your sketchbook, laptop and usual things you took out, including a range of art supplies and of course your emergency puffer which peter had managed to smuggle out which had doses that worked with your metabolism.
You were broken from your daydreams as another harsh coughing fit wracked your body. From what you could hear nobody was in the halls, but you did your best to keep quiet regardless. The wheezing that trailed after each breath was getting worse and your lungs were feeling tight.
You had been trying to use the puffer sparingly so it didn’t run out because you didn’t know if and or when peter could get you another. But as drawing breath grew harder you made the executive call to use it. You rolled over in the bed and threw an arm down to fish around for your red backpack. Finding it you fiddled with the zip before your fingers wrapped around the cool plastic of the device. Tony being tony had insisted it have a Spiderman case thinking it was peters which ended up being rather ironic as it was fitting for you too.
You tried fruitlessly one last time to draw breath before achieving nothing but a crackling wheeze. Screw it. You uncapped the red lid and held it to your lips, propping yourself up on an elbow in an attempt to sit u straight to take it.
You exhaled and inhaled repeating it once more before drawing in a lungful of the super-medicine. Almost straight away you began to feel better. Your fast metabolism speeding up the medicines process.
Feeling like you could breathe again you replaced the cap and put it on the nightstand before curling up in the sheets again feeling cold still but also slightly damp from the thin layer of sweat that had been forming all morning.
You were dressed in spider-man pjs which had a thin t-shirt and long pants. You had considered getting up to grab one of peters hoodies to get warm or another blanket but the idea of standing up made your head spin.
You nestled back into the sheets and let your eyes fall shut despite it being almost midday. The curtains were drawn and so it didn’t bother you too much. You began to drift off into a semi-peaceful sleep broken by harsh coughing fits which were becoming harder to stifle in your half asleep and fevered state.
Meanwhile the avengers had just finished their morning training session, one which Peter had joined for once. Peter being Peter had barely broken a sweat and as a result had opted to hang out on the communal floor while everyone went o freshen up.
Stark had designed the tower well. With Peter’s bedroom being on the same floor as Natasha’s who was rather protective of her younger spider counterpart as well as Wanda’s, Yelena’s, Kate’s and a few spares. The rest of the avengers were a floor above.
At first peter had been a bit miffed about being on a floor of just girls but he ended up liking it a lot. And he had a second bedroom in the master suite with tony and Pepper which he proffered anyway. The one on the avenger's floor was more for if Tony and Pepper were away, and he wanted to be around the others.
Natasha was headed for her room after waving goodbye to peter who had settled down to watch more star-wars, when she paused in the hallway.
Retracing her steps she found herself stood outside peters bedroom door. Frowning she pressed an ear to the door and froze. Someone was inside and coughing. Knowing it wasn’t peter, nat carefully twisted the door handle.
Peter being peter had prepared for almost anything. As soon as Natasha had set foot inside peters room Jarvis had alerted peter of her presence.
Meanwhile Natasha peered into the dimly lit room. The lump in the bed was wriggling around and coughing. Nat was on high alert by now. She realised this person was ill but how had they managed to get in without Jarvis knowing? And why were they in peters bed?
She crossed the threshold and walked over to the bed. Taking note of the backpack on the floor and puffer on the bedside table as well as your spider-man pjs which had been a gag gift from Peter last Christmas.
Nat stood and observed for a second. Looking down at your flushed face which was burning with fever and the harsh coughs that were wracking your weak form.
Nat watched helplessly for a second unsure of how to deal with a sick intruder.
She hesitated before extending a hand to your forehead and feeling a very high fever. She sucked a breath. Despite being an intruder she had some ideas as to why you may have been here. Your likeness to peter wasn’t hard to spot. Yet. She was unsure.
Peeling of the blankets to get a better look at you, as she did you made a small noise of discontent and curled into a shaking ball still fever addled and half asleep.
Before she could continue the door opened and peter looked in.
“Uhh M-Ms Romanoff…” Peter said looking guilty as he stepped in and closed the door again.
“Peter, do you know who this is?” Natasha asked getting straight to the point. Peter hesitated and rubbed the back of his neck.
“Y-yes.” He said looking at your sick form with a frown.
“Peter.” She said crossing her arms. “Care to share whats going on?” Nat said as she headed for Peter’s bathroom.
“Um… She … she’s,, my sister.” Peter said unsurely. Natasha returned after a second and nodded. Now holding the first aid kit from peters bathroom in her arms.
“Anything else i should know?” She asked walking over to the bed and sitting down to rifle through the first aid kit.
“Petey?” You mumbled hearing his voice.
Peter seemed to break out of his trance and came to your side. “I’m here Y/n.” He said.
“‘S cold.” You mumbled making peter frown.
“Actually, I think she has a fever.” Nat said as she found what she was looking for, pulling out a thermometer from the kit.
Nat gently placed the thermometer under your tongue and turned to look at peter.
“Pete, you’re not in trouble but i need some more information.” Natasha said.
“This is Y/n. She’s, my sister. Her apartment was levelled in the last attack and so she’s been staying here ever since. She’s not a threat I promise.” Peter said almost tripping over his words in order to explain.
Before Nat could respond the thermometer beeped and she removed it to look at the small screen, drawing another round of coughs from you. Natasha rubbed your back with one hand while frowning at the screen.
“Peter… she should be dead. This says 106. There’s more isn’t there.” Nat said with some urgency as she began peeling the rest of the blankets off you in an attempt to cool you down.
“Ahh … yes. She had powers. Like mine. She … she wears the suit sometimes.” Peter said standing nearby and watching with a worried expression.
“Ok. So, she has spider powers? High metabolism, super strength, etc.” Nat said and Peter nodded. “Why hasn’t her healing fixed this?” Nat said feeling your forehead again.
“She doesn’t have it. Her powers differ slightly.” Peter explained as Nat cursed softly in Russian.
“Her fever’s still rising.” Nat said making a decision. “We need to cool her down fast before she gets too hot for her own good. Jarvis?” Natasha said and peter looked panicked for a second worried about more people finding out about you.
“Ms Romanoff-“ he started.
“Pete, we need to cool her down stat. I need some help.” She said and peter nodded still looking nervous. “Jarvis call wanda to Peter’s bedroom.” Nat said and peter relaxed slightly. Wanda was ok. She would be good for the situation.
“What are you going to do?” Peter asked.
“She needs a bath and I doubt you want to do that.” She said with a small smirk and Peter flushed for a second.
“Defiantly not.” He said shaking his head.
“Is there someone we can call? Someone who she’d be ok with dressing her once we cool her down. She may be sick but i don’t want to invade her privacy.” Nat said as she scooped you up from the bed and into her lap while they waited for wanda to arrive. You cough harshly again and wheezed making nat frown and look to peter.
“Asthma.” He said.
“Runs in the family huh?” She joked reaching over for the puffer on the bedside table.
“Uh… about that.” Peter said looking guilty. “Mine was cured by the bite. I need the puffers for her.” He said looking sheepish. Expecting Nat to be mad she grinned.
“You’re a good brother.” She said as she uncapped the device and pressed it to your lips.
“Exhale.” She instructed and by some small miracle you complied. When you went to inhale, she administered the medicine and told you to hold.
Recapping the device, she rubbed a hand up and down your arm. “Good job sweetie.” She said and felt you relax into her arms some more as you let out a breath.
The two sat in silence for another second before the door opened again and wanda slipped inside.
She was freshly showered, her hair damp and she smelt like jasmine and honey. She was dressed in a simple faded black t-shirt and grey track pants.
“Whats-“ she began before pausing, her eyes caught on you laid in Natashas lap half asleep.
“Wanda,” Nat said. “Meet Y/n. Peter’s older sister.” She said.
“Okay…” Wanda said looking lost before her expression morphed to concern as you coughed. “Is she ok?” Wanda asked.
“No. That’s why you’re here. Long story short, peter smuggled her into the tower, and she has spider powers and her fever is really high. We need to cool her down.” Nat said and wanda swallowed and nodded. “Peter?” Nat said turning to the younger parker.
“Yes?” He said looking up from where he had been studying his shoes closely.
“You never answered my question. Is there someone we can call to come and get her dressed after wanda and i bathe her?” Nat asked and peter blushed again and nodded.
“I can call May. It’s her day off.” He said and Nat nodded.
“You do that. Wanda and I will look after Y/n. We promise not to go further than her outer clothes.” She said and scooped you up into her arms. She headed for Peter’s bathroom with wanda trailing behind. You remained limp in her arms snuggled into her chest in an unconscious need for companionship.
Once the two redheads had you in the bathroom wanda looked at nat. “Now what?” She asked and Natasha smirked.
“Now we take her clothes off.” She said and gently she lifted your arms from where you were laid on the floor in her lap and pulled the spider-man t-shirt off over your head. Wanda blushed slightly at the sight of your red sports bra despite having seen Nat and herself train in about the same if not less clothes.
“You wanna help?” Nat asked with a grin that only served to make Wanda’s blush deepen. You squirmed slighting in Nat’s lap but stopped when she gently rubbed your arm after you buried your warm face into her stomach.
Wanda rolled her eyes in an attempt to feign nonchalance despite being way past that point.
She lifted her hands, and the familiar red glow of magic surrounded her hands. Her magic lifted your hips so Nat could slide off your pants. Wanda blushed again at the sight of your Black Widow boxers. Natasha however grinned at them finding it both adorable and very cute.
After a beat Wanda met Nat’s eyes again. “Now what?”
“We get her in the bath. She needs to be cooled down Asap.” Nat said hoisting you into her arms again as you wriggled, turning and grumbling into her chest.
“Not gonna lie she’s pretty cute.” Nat said and Wanda avoided her eyes as she used her magic to fill the bath with tepid water.
Natasha gently lowered you into the tub ignoring your whining protests and running her hands through your hair which seemed to calm you down as you relaxed again.
“So … now we wait?” Wanda guessed and Natasha nodded.
“Yep. Unless you really want to steal May’s job of getting her dressed again.” Nat teased making Wanda splutter slightly. “Im kidding.” Nat said. “I know what hot women do to your brain.” She winked and wanda slouched slightly.
After a second you grumbled and blearily opened your eyes, squinting at the two women.
“Peter is so dead.” You mumbled before letting your eyes drift shut again. There was a pause before wanda and nat both started laughing.
You groaned. “Peter!” You yelled before coughing again making Wanda and Nat frown. But before they could do anything the door opened to show a beat red peter with his hands covering his eyes.
“Yes?” He said in a small voice.
“When I get out of here, you’re dead.” You mumbled with a foggy glare sent in his direction.
“Hey. Peter did the right thing.” Another voice said from behind Peter.
“May?” You called. “Oh, wtf is going on right now.” You mumbled.
“Whats going on kiddo is that, once again, you failed to ask for help which landed you here.” May said entering the bathroom with a change of clothes.
“Nice to see you Ms Parker.” Nat said and wanda echoed.
“Please. Call me May. And thank you for looking after her.” May said and you groaned.
“I hate all of you.” You said hiding your face in your hands.
“Uh huh. Sure, you do.” May teased.
“It was no problem. Ms- May.” Wanda said. “We’ll wait in peters bedroom while you… yeah.” Wanda said before making a hasty retreat. Nat laughed and followed her out.
May gave you a disappointed frown once she had shut the door and turned back to you with a sigh.
“Honey.” She said.
“I know… I know.” You said still feeling like death but slightly less so. “Did the black widow and scarlet witch just really see me in my underpants?” You asked.
“Yes, and I serves you right for hiding illness … again!” She said as she came over, rolling up her sleeves and helping you out, practically holding all your weight for you as your head spun.
May frowned and guided you over to the covered toilet seat to dress you again.
Gently she began to towel you off and change you into fresh clothes.
“I can do it myself.” You whined but May shot you a look and you knew better than to challenge the angry Parker and you and peter had called her as kids when she was upset at you for something.
Now, once you’re dressed you are going to thank those two for their kindness and your coming home with me.” May said.
“But-“ you began.
“No buts.” She said and helped you up, now fully dressed.
She helped you over to the door opening it despite still holding you up. The two of you shuffled into the room where Peter, Nat and Wanda were sat on Peter’s bed talking in hushed voices.
“Pete. I love you but I can hear everything you’re saying dumbass.” You said rolling your eyes and May lightly hit your arm.
“Right.” He said rubbing his neck. “Super hearing.” He nodded.
“I’ll add it to the list.” Nat grinned and you groaned before May jabbed you in the side and looked at the two girls.
You coughed at her actions making her frown but quickly got it under control for the sake of your already fragile image.
“Thank you, Wanda and Natasha, for helping me.” You said still leaning heavily on May. Now you had been standing for a bit the room began to spin. Your face went a shade paler making Natasha frown and stand. It was a split second before you stumbled, almost bringing May down with you in the process. Luckily strong arms wrapped around you, and you looked up into Nat’s pale green and worried eyes.
“Y/n?” You finally registered she was talking to you. “Y/n?” She asked again a little louder.
You let out a soft groan and she huffed. “Right. Up we go.” She said hoisting you into your arms and making the room spin again as you buried your face in her arm.
You felt her gently set you down on the bed and feel your forehead.
Distantly you heard May saying something along the lines of taking you home and the sound of Natasha arguing they were better equipped to help with your powers and sickness. May relented and you went back to dozing.
“What happened?” Peter asked from where he was stood by the door.
“Probably got too dizzy from standing up. Her body’s already trying to fight off sickness.” Natasha said and Wanda nodded.
“Peter? Don’t you have a super high metabolism?” Wanda asked.
“Yeah?” He said looking lost as May seemed to catch on.
“Y/n when did you last eat?” May asked and you groaned and buried your face in the pillow. “Well, that answers that.” May said rolling her eyes.
“Peter, do you have any of those energy bars that steve uses?” Wanda asked and peter nodded and headed for his bedside drawer.
He fished around and pulled out one of them and passed it to nat. She unwrapped it and shoved it into your hands.
“Eat.” She said and you made a groan of protest. “It’ll help.” She said in a softer tone.
“Fine.” You said sitting up against the headboard and nibbling on it slowly.
“Better.” Nat said and you frowned.
“You know you’re cute when you’re mad.” Wanda said looking surprised by her own words and blushing at Natasha’s knowing gaze.
“Get some rest маленький паук” Nat said once you had finished eating, and she begun to shepherd everyone out of the room.
“Mom!” Y/N’s raspy voice echoes through the house. She is still lying under her covers, breathing through her mouth while constantly sniffling. School starts in ten minutes, and normally she’d already be on her way, but today she slept through her alarm, waking up with only twenty minutes before her first class. Since then, she has been staying in her bed, trying to wake up her mom by yelling her name. “Mama!” She shouts again, starting to cough right after.
Tired looking Wanda finally steps into her daughter’s room, “why aren’t you dressed up?” She glances at the clock on Y/N’s wall. Her eyes widen, suddenly wide awake. “Why are you still home?”
“I’m sick.”
With a frown, Wanda sits down on the edge of the bed. “Are you?” She sets her hand on Y/N’s forehead, moving it to her neck after a while. Her frown deepens. “Oh, you definitely are sick.”
Y/N whines quietly when Wanda’s cool palm leaves her skin. The woman shushes her softly, running her fingers through her messy hair a couple of times.
“I’m going to get you something to drink, okay? Do you think you could eat some breakfast too?” Wanda’s voice is much quieter now, she doesn’t want to disturb her sick daughter. Y/N shakes her head. “Okay,” she sighs, “I’ll still bring up some fruit for when you feel better.”
It takes Wanda around fifteen minutes to cut up fruit, pour cold juice, and fill Y/N’s water bottle before getting back into her room. She sets them all on the nightstand and sits back down to the bed, now getting more comfortable. Her back is rested against the wall and her legs are straightened out.
Y/N moves slowly, setting her head on Wanda’s lap. “I feel bad.” She whispers with her eyes closed.
“I know, baby.” Wanda brushes her fingers against Y/N’s face, slowly moving from her cheeks, to her nose, to her forehead, and back. “Do you think you could fall back asleep or maybe take a bath to cool you down?”
Y/N sniffles again, her nose blocked out. “I don’t think I could get up, I feel too nauseous.”
“That’s okay,” Wanda pick up the water bottle, “just drink some water for me and rest up.” She opens the cap and lifts Y/N’s head enough for her to be able to swallow properly. She holds the bottle for her until she has had enough.
Y/N drops her head back down to Wanda’s lap, closing her eyes right away to get comfortable. She lets out a breath when Wanda starts playing with her hair again, her body relaxing almost automatically from the softness of it, and the slight magic helps too.
“Get some sleep, hun.” Wanda whispers, “I’ll wake you up in some hours to eat something.”
Humming quietly, Y/N nods, already half asleep.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
Waking up to fresh snowfall brought different reactions for everyone. Some felt joy upon seeing their ordinary world coated in white, they loved the whimsy that came with the weather. To others it was more frustrating. It was a chore that had to be dealt with as early as possible to make room for the day. You fell into the latter category.
When you woke up on what was supposed to be a lazy Sunday morning you were less than thrilled to see a blanket of snow covering the yard, driveway and cars. It wasn’t like you didn’t enjoy the snow, you loved watching it fall in large fluffy flakes and every so often you would have a snowball fight with the avengers. Really you loved the snow, but you hated the cleanup. You hated it more with a stuffy nose and a dull ache in your body that clearly indicated that you were getting sick.
There was this little competition among the heroes about who could shovel the most snow, it was their way of turning a chore into a fun workout. You didn’t find it nearly as fun as them. You would rather just get the damn job over with without all of the smack talk and teasing, but they insisted on it.
Wanda had gotten so tired of their antics that she’d dubbed herself ‘maker of the hot coca’ to get out of it. Natasha loved it, she felt great when she could beat the superhumans at anything and generally just enjoyed competition. You participated only because you were a relatively new member of the team (compared to the others) and didn’t want to make yourself look weak.
Staring out at the vast expanse that was the Avengers Compound driveway you couldn’t help but feel a bit of self-pity. You had just woken up and you were already feeling awful. Your nose was so stuffy that you couldn’t breathe through it, but it was also running. Your throat burned every time you swallowed, and you were sure that the cough that would be coming would make it hurt even worse.
It wasn’t like you had much of a choice though, you could hear Steve beginning to yell at everyone to get up and dressed for 20-degree weather. With a harsh sneeze you began to get ready, pulling on the warmest clothes you could find which included doubles of everything. Even with the two layers you were shivering hard, unable to get warm.
You stared at yourself in the small mirror, studying the dark smudges under your eyes and the sickly pallor of your face. Your nostrils were already rimmed red from rubbing them and your lips were badly chapped. Whatever this was it was hitting fast and hard.
A loud knock startled you out of your daze and back into reality. You shuffled to your door, hindered by the extra layers and your own dizziness. Opening it revealed an excited looking Steve with a big smile on his face and wearing winter clothes.
“You ready Y/n? It looks heavy!” He greeted, grinning at you. His joyful tone was baffling, but you were determined to prove yourself as an individual with no powers and far less experience than the others.
“Lets do this.” You croaked, confirming that you sounded as bad as you felt. Steve’s eyebrow twitched and his expression morphed into one of concern, but you brushed it off with a quiet cough and a smile.
“Sorry, my throat is a little dry. I think I need to talk to FRIDAY about increasing the humidity in here.” You said, offering an easy explanation for what could easily be a fluke. The cough had done wonders to clear your throat and you didn’t sound quite as awful. A bit nasally, but not like death.
Cap nodded enthusiastically, too focused on the idea of what he was sure would be an intense workout to really notice the state you were in. If you said you were fine, he was in no place to question you.
“Lets do this!”
You grabbed your coat and followed the superhero out of your bedroom where you practically ran into a very tired looking Wanda. The witch wasn’t sure why it was so important for her to be awake as she was only making cocoa for everyone, but the boys had refused to give her peace.
When she saw you, her eyes went wide, and you couldn’t help the blush that spread across your cheeks. The way she looked at you with worry and love, it was just something you’d never seen before meeting her.
When you first joined the team, she had been incredibly kind to you, she’d understood your fear and done everything to make you feel welcome. It hadn’t taken long for you to fall head over heels for her. Thankfully she could read your mind otherwise you never would’ve gotten the courage to ask her out.
“Y/n, are you okay? You look…not great.” She said softly, not wanting to attract the attention of anyone else. You smiled again and nodded slightly, wondering if she could tell that you were lying. You had always been good at it, but you knew that she could sense emotions without trying if they were strong enough.
“I’m fine. I just woke up, that’s it. Will you put marshmallows in my hot cocoa?” You asked, leaning in to peck her on the cheek. The brunette hummed quiet concern, but nodded after a moment and squeezed your hand.
“Of course, baby. Come inside if you need a break, okay? No need to put yourself at risk for a chore, it will get done.” She kissed you, her soft red lips brushing gently against yours. You did the best you could to return the kiss, but it was everything you could do not to fall apart. The last place you wanted to be was outside in the freezing cold, you wanted to be with Wanda who was comfortable and warm. Later you’d find yourself wishing that you gave into that want.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
A chesty cough bubbled from your lips as you threw another shovel full of heavy wet snow over your shoulder, but this time you did nothing to suppress it. You no longer cared if someone heard you, you were tired and cold. It had been two hours of moving piles of incredibly heavy snow and you were barely halfway done.
Natasha glanced over at you but said nothing. She’d been watching you deteriorate for a while now but didn’t want to force you inside when you were being so stubborn. She had internally decided that if you didn’t go in soon, she would get Wanda to come get you.
 The boys were getting even more competitive as they got bored, and Clint had started throwing snowballs. You were thankful that you were on the other side of the driveway away from that nonsense.
One thing your slightly feverish brain hadn’t considered was that the others might retaliate. What had started as one man throwing a few snowballs had turned into a full-blown snowball fight in less than a minute. You tried to avoid your teams’ antics and just continue with the snow removal, but it was too late for that.
Before you could think to react one very well packed snowball slammed you in the face and another hit the back of your head. You froze as icy slush slid down your back and chest, bypassing your jacket to soak into your soft cotton undershirt. You stared at Steve who had thrown the one that hit your face with an expression of shock and anger that was barely masking tears.
You threw the shovel down and whipped around, a wave of spots dancing in your vision as you began to march back toward the front doors. You glared daggers at Clint who had thrown the other snowball and flipped them both off as you trudged your way through the snow, hot tears beginning to drip down your freezing cheeks.
When you got inside you didn’t even bother taking off your boots, you just stomped through the foyer and to the elevator, pushing the button you knew would get you to the kitchen and your girlfriend.
“Mx. Y/l/n, your vitals indicate—”
“Shut up FRIDAY.” You snapped, coughing aggressively into your elbow as you waited the few seconds for the elevator to get to your floor. You didn’t care what the AI had to say, you knew that you were sick, and you were so angry that all you really wanted to do was scream.
When you finally made it to the kitchen the snow had begun to melt. You stood in front of Wanda dripping and shivering, doing everything you could to keep yourself from sobbing.
“Oh love, you’re freezing.” The brunette breathed, shaking her head as she rushed to comfort you. She began to take off your coat and you just let her. The tears coming faster as her aura of compassion washed over you, reassuring you that you weren’t alone.
The young Sokovian woman set your coat on a chair and pulled you in for a hug, giving you silent permission to break down. You did just that and buried your head in her shoulder as you began to sob out your frustration at the world. Wanda held you like that, crying coughing and sneezing for probably five minutes before she pulled away, seeming not to care that you’d ruined her shirt.
“Come on Y/n/n, let’s get you in bed.”
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
When she said that you expected to be brought to your bedroom, but instead you found her leading you to hers. Once there she helped you change into her softest pajamas and tucked you into her bed without a second thought.
The whole thing happened so fast that your fever clouded brain barely had time to catch up when Wanda left you alone only to return a moment later with a mug of tea.
“Here you go sweetheart. Drink this for me, it’ll warm you up.” Wanda said gently, pushing a mug into your hands. She had never made you any cocoa, she knew that you were getting sick and decided that tea would be best.
“Thanks.” You rasped, not sure what else to say. You’d never really been taken care of before and being sick around your girlfriend was strange. The relationship was still on the newer side, so you were worried about doing something wrong and messing it up.
The witch kissed your forehead and took her seat beside you on the soft bed. She wrapped a blanket around your trembling shoulders and made quiet noises of concern as she fussed, something you found yourself enjoying. It was nice to feel cared for and she did it better than anyone else.
“How about we watch a show while you warm up?” She suggested reaching for the remote on her bedside table. You nodded silently and wiped your nose on your sleeve, your throat hurt, and you weren’t really up to talking anymore. Wanda tilted her head at your action and placed a box of tissues in your lap with a little smile.
“Use these instead.” She directed, turning her attention to the TV. You obliged and grabbed a tissue to blow your nose which was definitely better than just wiping it.
Wanda flipped through channels and began to play with your hair as she did so, dragging her nails in patterns across your skull. The effect was amazing, you instantly felt calmer and settled against her even more, practically melting into her side.
You focused your eyes on whatever show she had put on; it was brightly colored and animated. It didn’t really matter to you what she decided to watch, you were too sick to pay attention to it.
You took a sip of the hot tea, relishing the way it soothed your throat and warmed your insides. The snow had been hell, but you were finally able to relax thanks to your amazing girlfriend. You vowed silently to repay the favor the next time she got sick and go above and beyond to take care of her the same way she was doing for you.
There weren’t many times where you were delusionally sleepy, for the record, the only time you were extremely clingy and completely out of it would have been when you fell ill the other month and your body decided to shut down. Of course it happens again when your girlfriends are currently away on a mission.
Tossing and turning in the mass amount of blankets sprawled on the bed, you sigh for the last time before groaning and sitting up. It was only an overnight mission but your tummy was starting to twist and your eyes were going red at the constant rubbing around them. A quiet whimper left your lips as you grabbed your phone and squinted at the harsh light. 3:04am, what a joke.
You hesitated before pressing on the contact name but another rattling cough had you calling in a frenzy. You absolutely hated being sick. It was hell for anyone involved, you despised taking any medicine, you were snappy and you were generally over everyone who tried to interact with you.
A few rings of the dial tone and it connected to the other side “Malysh? It’s three am honey go to sleep” Natasha mumbled out tiredly yet concerned as to why you’re up at the hour. “Come home please” You sniffled out and you heard a shuffle on her end. “Baby- we can’t- drogoya we’re stakehousing, we can’t get to you sweetheart. We’ll be back later today alright moya lyubov” Wanda’s sleepy voice gravelled out through the phone and it made you miss her more.
“Need yous” you whined when another cough coursed through you and you heard a curse through the line. “Oh love, I promise if you close those sleepy eyes we’ll be back before you know it okay malen'kiy detenysh” Wanda sighed sleepily and you tried to shut your eyes once more, but to no avail. “Wanda please. Need you” you whimpered and tried to get comfy again.
Not a moment later and the duo were harmonising a soft lullaby in their common tongue, Wanda slipping a few Sokovian words and Nat keeping the basis Russian. Before you knew it, you were finally catching up on the missed hours of sleep with their voices as the last thing on your mind.
<><><>
The house was silent when the two Avengers finally made it home. The TV was paused on Netflix’s telltale of a binge session asking if you were still watching your current obsessed series and the overthrow blankets were in a pile on the floor. You however, we’re nowhere in sight.
Nat dropped the overnight bags by the door and took Wanda by the wrists, dragging the exhausted witch to your shared bedroom. The minute they opened the door, they caught you in a deep chesty cough, your steady body jolting with each one. “Oh baby love” Wanda pouted sleepily and undressed herself to get into comfy clothes.
A cheeky - yet admirable - glance from Nat had Wanda blushing and sidestepping from the gaze lightly. “Shut up you, go get changed and let’s snuggle please” her voice was light and playful but deep down the three of you knew she was always bashful about her body.
One of the many benefits of Nat having the most control in the relationship was forcing Wanda to feel good about her body before she could literally feel good. As soon as Wanda slipped under the covers, you curled into her sighing in relief at her presence. Nat scooted in behind you and you instinctively reached back, slowly waking up from your slumber.
“Hi” You mumbled into the quiet of the afternoon and practically into Wanda’s boobs, giggling when you nuzzled your face into them and kissed over her heart gently. Another cough rattled your bones and you whimpered when the attack was over, pulling nat closer so she was spooning you from behind.
“You’re adorable when you’re like this. All clingy and melty” Natasha let out a small chuckle but nestled her head in the crook of your neck. A low whine left your lips when she places butterfly kisses along your neck and whispered a small ‘i love you’ in Russian. “Our sick lil angel” Wanda pouted when you pressed your face further into her boobs.
“Hey, I’m not your pillow you goof” she rolled her eyes at the movement but a quick suck from you shut her up really quick. One look from Natasha and Wanda blushed, she was always so bashful when she was exposed with underlying tones. Natasha was never the one to judge but always the one to use it to her advantage.
Hopefully you get better soon because with the rate that your clinginess is going, Wanda was sure to be overstimulated and Natasha just can’t focus when her girls just so beautiful together.
In the meantime, Wanda will just have to keep her composure just enough for you to fall back asleep. At least until the opportunity for a shower arises anyway, cause if you think Natasha is letting Wanda off with nothing but a glance of admiration for the night then you’re thinking wrong.
Countdown to Agatha: Day 744
Wanda: “I’m fine I’m fine!”
Y/N: Then why are you congested and your face is all swollen and red?”
Wanda: “It’s just a little cold!”
Agatha: “Yeah Y/N! Are you trying to imply that the vessel of the ancient being and deity THE Scarlet Witch can be incapacitated by a mortal illness?”
Y/N, squinting and dragging Agatha out of the room: “What are playing at? She CLEARLY needs medicine and rest!”
Agatha: “Yes…but have you considered the implications of a delirious Wanda?”
Y/N: “Yes, I HAVE! Or do you not remembered when the car door “disagreed” with her head on the trip to the pharmacy?”
Agatha: “Oh yeah…I was moreso thinking about that time when she had pneumonia and ordered seventy takeout grilled cheeses”
sum: mommy wanda when you're on your period. because i am sad and in pain
just a little drabble
✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧⧗✧
"Wanda-" you groan as another wave of pain washes over you.
"Baby?" She says coming into the room where you lay, draped over the couch with a sorry pout on your lips.
"Is it your tummy, darling?" You nod, wincing as you feel your stomach knot itself again and Wanda pressing the back of her hand to your forehead.
You sigh in relief at how cold it is compared to your skin and lean your weight against her. "You're burning up, baby." Wanda says and her eyebrows pull together with a worried look across her face.
"I'm gonna get some medicine alright? you just sit there, sweetheart."
You groan, already feeling disgusted by the memory that medicine has burned into your taste buds, but you don't complain, wishing anything would make this feeling go away.
Wanda comes back quickly with a spoon, blanket and some water, "come on love, open up." she does her best to offer you a smile and you give in, doing as she says and letting your mouth gape open just enough for Wanda to slide the spoonful of goo inside.
Your face screws up as you swallow, suddenly wishing you had bought some pills last week.
"Good girl, that will help." She wipes the excess that smeared down your jaw with a damp cloth, offering you a sip of water to wash away the bitter after taste, and you take it willingly.
Wanda sits on the end of the couch and you instantly move over to her as she chuckles pulling you against her chest and running her fingers through your hair.
"How's the pain now, honey?"
"Bad." You pout, pressing your head against her chest smiling slightly when you notice the absence of a bra.
"Should I put on a movie, baby?" She asks playing with a strand of your hair and tucking the blanket around you, "mhm, yes please..mommy"
Your voice is growing softer now and the pain seems to be lessening. you feel Wanda exhale gently and she smiles, "i'll find your favourite, sweetheart."
Burn out
Pairing: Wanda Maximoff x reader
Word count: ~800
Summary: Wanda gets sick.
A/N: Fluff! Cute and fluffy comfort fic.
Warnings: None
Wanda was exhausted. She was exhausted in a way that exceeded her usual long-day-at-work-dealing-with-idiots exhausted. Her very bones ached and the idea of walking up the stairs to the bedroom made her nearly cry. She was achy and her brain had been fuzzy for the better part of the drive home. She was unable to do much beyond make it upstairs and fall into bed with a fitful groan. She wasn’t sure when you would be home, but she wouldn’t be surprised if she was asleep before you arrived.
Her eyes were growing heavy and her body ached just from the strain of remaining awake. She couldn’t find the energy to even consider changing into more comfortable clothes before she fell asleep.
You and Boone arrive home about an hour after Wanda. You were glad to see your wife was home already, and you were trying to figure out what to make for dinner when you walk into the house.
“Wands! We’re home.”
You frown slightly as you and Boone walk into the living room to find it empty. Usually, if Wanda beat you home, she’d be downstairs cooking or waiting for you in the living room. You figure she must be upstairs, and you forego figuring out dinner in favor of figuring out where your wife is.
“Wanda?”
You walk into the bedroom to see Wanda lying face down on the bed. She’s still fully dressed and she’s hugging a pillow to her face with a miserable look. She opens her eyes when she hears your voice, and she manages a small smile before she grimaces at how her head swims.
“Hey, detka.”
You frown in concern as you quickly close the distance and reach out for your wife. Her forehead’s warm and she flinches slightly from your touch which makes your frown deepen.
“You’re burning up. Are you getting sick?”
Wanda just mumbles something under her breath about being tired and achy and you realize that your suspicions are right. Your wife works too hard, and it’s no surprise that her long hours and immense stress can lead to her getting sick. You retreat into the bathroom to look for a thermometer, but you can still hear Wanda groaning from the bedroom.
“It’s hot. Why’s it so hot in here?”
Once you find the thermometer you return to find your wife sitting up and trying to take off her jacket. You figure she’s feverish, but she’s also very uncoordinated and is struggling to free herself.
“Here, let me help?”
Wanda just gives in with a sigh and lets you undress her. It’s a tedious task when Wanda won’t even stand up on her own and you only manage to get her to put on a pair of shorts before she flops back down on the bed. You sigh in defeat but decide to leave it alone as you hand her the thermometer.
“Let’s see if you have a fever.”
100.5° F
Wanda looks miserable as you place a cold washcloth on her forehead. She’s transitioned from hot to cold as chills start running through her. You place a blanket over her before you retreat to the kitchen to grab her some food and then some cold medicine. She’s sniffling by the time you come back. She’s rolled over on to her back, and she’s somehow looking even more pitiful than when you left her. You can’t help but smile sympathetically as you put down the soup you made on the bedside table before handing your wife a couple of pills.
“These should make you feel better. Can you eat?”
Wanda takes her pills with a slightly disgusted look and you can’t hold back your laugh. It never failed to astound you that your mobster wife could be an actual child when she was sick. You don’t mention this however as she hands you back the glass of water you’d brought her. You set it aside and smile in response to what Wanda says next.
“Thank you. I just want to lie down for a little while.”
You nod and consider your options as your wife gets more comfortable. You still need to walk and feed Boone. You also need you eat and shower, but doing any of these quickly leaves you mind when Wanda reaches out for you with a hopeful smile.
“Can you stay with me?”
You don’t respond with words, instead you walk around to the other side of the bed and lie down next to your wife. You’re not sure how she’s feeling, and you don’t want to smother her, but Wanda’s already turning to you and reaching out. You smile as she wraps her arms around you and buries her face in your neck with a yawn. You shift slightly so you can wrap an arm around Wanda and you kiss the top of her head with a sigh.
“Love you, Wands.”
She snuggles closer to you and hums under her breath before returning the sentiment.
“Love you too, Y/n.”
“Go lie down before I make you.” Wanda huffed in annoyance you sat at the meeting table with your arms crossed defiantly, red nosed and sniffly, “You’re not being in the meeting, that’s final.”
“That’s not for you to decide.” You replied with a little more bite then intended before turning away from the table to let out a few chesty coughs which only made the burning in the back of your throat intensity tenfold, “I need to be here.”
“No you don’t.” Wanda groaned, “This meeting isn’t even important for a start so I don’t know why you’re being so stubborn when you’re obviously feeling terrible.”
“I don’t feel terrible,” Well, that was obviously a lie, “It doesn’t matter if it’s not important, I'm part of the team so I should be herehh- HHeh’schoo!”
You heard your girlfriend sigh as you sneezed, “It’s not that we don’t want you here, I even offered to come lay down with you. But you’re literally contagious Y/N,” She explained, her eyes casting over to where Maria was sat, currently being lectured by Nat to go rest herself, “You’re probably already infected half the agents here so please, can you just go and rest.”
You did feel a little bad about that. Being aware of your own germs wasn’t really at the top of your priority list so you hadn’t even noticed that the agents around the compound had been all catching your cold. But still, you’d never missed a meeting before and your fever-fogged brain wasn’t about to ruin that streak, “Naps are only for babies and old people. im neither.”
Your girlfriend shook her head again, clearly her patience had run out, “Y/N, this is the last I’ll ask nicely. Get your ass to bed now.”
You should’ve known to watch your words when Wanda used that tone, it was obvious that she really was at the end of her tether. But your foggy mind didn’t pick up on the fact and your next words made the whole room fall suddenly silent.
“Make me.”
Wanda's eyes turn hard and her tone sharp when you challenge her. "You want to be an infant and be made to do something? Fine." The next thing you knew, there was a red glow surrounding your body as you were hoisted into the air, hovering several feet from your chair, “You’re going to bed one way or another.”
“Put me down now.” You almost growled the words as Wanda continued to hold you in the grasp on her magic.
But your girlfriend only shook her head as she kept you safely in her hold, slowly guiding you out of the meeting room and in the obvious direction back to your bedroom as she carefully followed behind. “Nope, sorry sweetie but if you’re going to be a pain in my ass about not resting then this is the only solution.”
A soft groan of defeat escapes your lips. As Wanda carries you through the corridor and into the bedroom, you tried not to whine any further. Her magic is so powerful, you couldn't escape even if you wanted to; and honestly... you don't want to. The bed is cosy and inviting. Your tired body welcomed the plush linen as she placed you on the duvet, a deep sigh rumbling from your chest as you sink into the bed, “Wands?”
“Yes, my love?” You can see it in her eyes that she isn't mad anymore, just happy that you’re finally in bed.
“Can you stay?”
Of course," Wanda replies affectionately, leaning down to kiss your head. She lingers there for a moment, rubbing her cheek against the crown of your head. Your fever will surely break soon, and you can already feel yourself beginning to breathe easier. Soon, the exhaustion will start to set in and you’d fall into a gentle asleep against the woman who loved you most in the world.
Mama sick N.R
Natasha Romanoff x daughter!Reader
Summary: Natasha woke up sick. Wanda and R tries to help make Natasha feels better
Note: R is like 2/3 years old
Natasha woke up the morning slightly later than usual and felt a weight on her body. She looked down and you were lying peacefully on her with your thumb in your mouth from sucking in the middle of the night. She took your thumb out and rubbed your back, giving you more time to sleep so you wouldn’t be cranky later.
Minutes later, she decided to wake you up to start the day. “Y/N” She whispered softly trying to wake you up but her voice came out scratchy. You whimpered slightly but continued sleeping. “Y/N, it’s time to wake up.” Nat decided to hold you and walk to the bathroom but when she stood up she felt slightly dizzy and weak, falling to her knees.
She held you tight so you didn’t fall off but you hit your head on the floor causing you to cry. “Y/N, I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” She checked your head for any injuries while calming you down.
“Nat! Are you coming down for breakfast?” Wanda came in to check on Natasha since she normally would already be down at the kitchen drinking her coffee. “Are you okay?” Wanda asked when she saw Natasha and you on the floor sniffing.
“Yeah, I’m fine. I’m coming down.” Nat said in a hoarse voice. Placing a hand on the bed while holding you with the other, she pushed herself up.
“You clearly don’t sound good. I think you’re sick Nat.” She took you from her and insisted Natasha rest in bed. “I will make something for you to get better.”
“Come on, let’s go. Mama’s sick.” Wanda bounced you around and brought you to the kitchen with the others, notifying them that Natasha’s sick and wouldn’t be coming down.
“Mama sick?” You said sadly.
“Yes, we are going to give her medicine to make her feel better.” Wanda decided to include you so you don’t feel left out.
Wanda gave you half a lemon and a plastic cup. “Squeeze it so we can’t see the bottom okay?”
“Hugn.” You nodded and took the lemon and cup to sit on the floor and started working. You shook the lemon into the cup and checked your progress but nothing happened. You looked at Wanda but she was busy at the stove.
Using your tiny hands, you squeeze the lemon as hard as you can and you see a single drop in the cup. “Wanda!” You shouted excitedly at your progress.
“That’s good bubs, continue yeah?” She ruffled your hair and you continued squeezing it.
“Urghhh.” Was the sound you made at every squeeze. The lemon no longer looked round as before once you finished. Looking satisfied with your work, you stood up excited but accidentally knocked over the cup in the process.
“Uh oh.” You mumbled quietly at your work being on the floor. Wanda was quick to get to your side and reassure you it was okay. She gave you another lemon if you wanted another go. You took it and continued in your corner.
“You sure are one determined child.” Wanda said quietly as she cleaned up your mess. After cleaning up, she remembered there’s a juicer and you wouldn’t have such a hard time squeezing the lemon. “Oh well…”
Once you were done, you carefully this time gave it to Wanda for her to make a warm honey lemon juice for your mama. Along with the soup she made, she brought it with her to Natasha who was sleeping.
You touched your mama’s face as she was crying in her sleep, hoping to stop her cries. “Mama, don’t cry.” She managed to wake up but her eyes sting causing her to tear up. “Y/N, what did you do?”
“It’s probably the lemon juice.” Wanda said as she passed her the honey lemon. “Y/N made this for you to get better.”
“You did? Thank you Y/N.”
“Hugn.” You nodded and pushed the cup closer to your mama, urging her to drink. “Mama drink.”
She took a sip. “Thank you Y/N.” You giggled. Nat received the soup from Wanda and all you sat there as Natasha drank the soup. You were sitting in Wanda’s lap as you played with her necklace not thinking that your mama was still sick.
When Natasha was done, she passed the bowl to Wanda who took you out of the room with her. “But mama okay?”
“The honey lemon is not going to make her instantly better sweetie.” Your face instantly changed to a gloom.
“I’m sorry Y/N. But I don’t want to make you sick too.” Natasha's voice was still hoarse but it wasn’t as bad as it was in the morning.
Despite your protest of staying behind by flailing your arms and kicking your legs, you were brought out of the room. You stood by the door with your head in on the door silently, wanting to go in.
Natasha felt bad that you couldn’t be near her mama but she didn’t want you catching the flu too. She went back to sleep hoping to get better soon so she could get back to you.
“Come on Y/N, you can’t be standing there forever.” Clint came to persuade you after numerous failed attempts from Wanda. “You can have ice cream.” He tried to bribe you but you refused to move. You sat by the door wanting your mama to come out and play with you.
Soon you felt tired sitting there doing nothing so you ended up falling asleep by the door and Wanda carried you to her room so you could rest properly.
Pesky Period Pains
Prompt: Cramping Pain
Pairings: Wandanat x R
Word count: 2.3K
Summary: you had managed to stave off periods but you could only do that for so long. But its very hard to hide things in the compound especially from your girlfriends.
TW: pain medicine, blood, period, cramps, bleeding on the bed (idk if that a warning or not lol), non-sexual nudity, Reader has their clothes removed (not in a bad way though don’t worry … you’ll see), hiding injuries / sickness, slight angst,
A/n whats this? A fic without vomiting for once? Crazy.
Curled up in bed the day had been going well until you realised you took to long to get more of your birth control. Your doctor had put you on birth control in your early teens before you became and avenger, your cramps being too painful for you to function and resulting in you missing a-lot of school. But you ran out last week and your ADHD had been kicking your ass lately so you forgot about the much needed trip to the chemist. Thinking you could just go tomorrow as its not like your period would appear over night. wrong.
Nat and Wanda were training in the gym like they did every Tuesday while you slept in. But when you realised with the first pang of pain in your midsection that it was a little too late for the birth control to stave off the period pains, you groaned. stuffing your face back into your pillow, before swallowing the urge to scream in frustration. you got up and threw on a pad before getting dressed quickly. you were craving chocolate. you could survive the cramps until after breakfast, and you couldn’t take painkillers on an empty stomach.
you had just finished drowning your pancakes in chocolate syrup and were not throwing back the tablets and some water when your girlfriends arrived. Nat smiled widely and came over to kiss you and hug you. “Detka,” you groaned, “your all gross and sweaty.” nat squeezed you in the hug chuckling before planting a kiss on your forehead. Wanda didn’t seem as happy. she sensed your discomfort before she even made it into the door. to be honest she sensed it from the gym, feigning exhaustion in favour of ending training early to check on you.
“what were you doing before we got here?” Wanda asked, hands crossed over her chest.
“making pancakes.” you shrugged, hiding a grimace as it jostled your midsection.
“i saw you put something in your mouth, Y/n don’t lie to me.” she was more concerned than angry but it did come across that way to you.
“i. was. eating. my. pancakes. Wanda.” you grit out, glad it seemed more like annoyance than the fact another cramp had hir rather hard.
“whatever.” Wanda dismissed angrily walking to get herself some pancakes. Nat frowned, normally Wanda was really sweet with you, only ever stern if you were being stubborn. she shrugged at you and followed Wanda to get some breakfast, only having had her pre workout shake so far. you didn’t wait for them, quickly finishing your pancakes and going to take a shower.
the girls frowned at your empty place when they returned and Wanda sighed. “somethings up with her nat i can sense it.”
meanwhile you stepped under the warm water, watching the red circle the drain and letting the heat relax your muscles. when another cramp hit you rested your head on your arm which steadied you against the wall. you didn’t want to risk leaving blood in your shared bathroom knowing nat was see it with her spy training, she noticed everything. Wanda would just freakout if she knew you were bleeding but didn’t know where from. And most importantly you didn’t want to bother them with your problems, feeling you were being a bit too needy lately having been sick the week before last.
you had come back to your old room, the one you stayed in before moving it with your girls. it was still your space. your gaming computer was still here, your switch and all your drawing stuff and tablet. your posters of Percy Jackson and your girlfriends still adorned the walls and the rainbow lights still worked above your desk. the bed had black sheets and you even still had some of your clothes in here. your many sketchbooks sat on the floating shelf by the desk and your blue couch and fluffy red blanket were still in the corner. the 84inch tv, courtesy of tony was mounted on the wall opposite the bed and you had painted a mural of the city scape on the far wall. it was as much your home as the room across the hall. your girls often found you in here during the day either drawing or gaming.
but you hadnt showered in here since moving to sleep over the hall. nat heard the running water as she went past, assuming you had done it so she could shower after her training this morning, she shrugged it off. unusual but not insane.
once you turned the water off you carefully towel dried yourself trying to avoid getting blood on the fluffy towel. getting dressed in fluffy pants and your oversized red hoodie nat had bought you at Disneyland, the one with the big picture of Mickey mouse on the front, you went and laid on the bed. after mindlessly scrolling through Netflix and putting on a random movie you snuggled up. after a few minutes the exhaustion of your body rebuilding an organ wiped you out and you fell asleep.
Wanda carefully opened the door to your room. frowning at yhe sight of you curled up asleep in the middle of the day. this was unlike you. the tv had an action movie playing and the sound of gunfire should have woken you up, but you slept on. Wanda turned out the lights and muted the tv before going to talk to nat.
“I’m telling you nat something’s off, shes been acting weird all day.”
“I’m sure shes fine, shes a big girl wands.” nat sighed drying her hair with a towel.
“i don’t know, you know how it is when shes hurt, she wont tell us even if shes bleeding out on the floor.” Wanda huffed pacing and running her hands through her hair.
“why don’t we go cuddle up to her in bed and we’ll talk to her when shes up again?”
“ok” Wanda sighed in defeat.
after carefully lifting the sheets and sliding in either-side of you nat took the tv remote frowning at the cheesy action movie.
“you cant even shoot arrows like that in real life.” she grumbled putting on something that Wanda would like. a sit com.
still asleep you curled up around Wanda’s leg as she lent against the headboard and ran her hands through your hair.
“she looks so fragile when she sleeps natty.” Wanda cooed
“thats because its hard to be a cocky asshole when your sleeping.” nat teased. but it wasn’t fun without your sharp come backs to quip against her.
“naaattt leave her alone shes cute when she sleeps.” looking down at you she noticed a grimace on your face when you held onto her leg tighter. thinking you were having a nightmare she went to wake you. unbeknownst to her it was just the medicine having worn off and the painfully cramps coming back full force. before Wanda could gently wake you, you shot up, blinking rapidly before feeling the wetness of the bed and shooting off the bathroom to change clothes. Wanda and nat frowned at each-other, you hadn’t even noticed them. nat hopped up and knocked on the door.
“y/n/n? can i come in?” she asked. you froze. what were they doing here.
“Y/n/n?” nat asked again.
“natty… um you should come here.” Wanda quietly said from the bed. she had pulled back the sheets to find a wet bloodstain on the sheets. Nat’s eyes widened almost comically.
“y/n let us in right now.” she banged her fists on the door. just as she swung to knock the door down you opened it, her foot stopping mid air as she tried not to kick you or fall over. at the sight of your bloody clothes she jumped into action. extending your arms with her hands she searched your body before stopping and looking you dead in the eyes.
“strip.” she said. you balked.
“what?”
“you heard me. strip. or i’ll have Wanda use her wiggly woos to do it for me.”
“natty-“
“No.”
“wands-“
“I’m with nat on this one sweetheart. we need to know your ok.” Wanda cooed softly having walked in behind nat.
“I’m fi-“
“if you were going to say your fine we found your blood on the sheets. so we know your not.”
before you were able to reply you were hit with a rather painful cramp that made you double over in an attempt to stop the pain. you groaned loudly and both your girls sprung into action. they knew you didn’t get periods so that couldn’t be it. but the last mission was weeks ago and you hadn’t left the compound without them since. so how did you get hurt? Nat was at your side in an instance. “y/n/n baby where does it hurt?” she ran a hand down your back up and down your spine. you merely groaned in response still hunched over.
“wands I’m gonna need you to-“
“don’t worry it got it.” she replied. before you could think you felt the cold air hit as you were suddenly without clothes. Nat’s eyes grew wide as she saw the red between your legs. you felt tears slide down your cheeks as the girls understood. they had seen you naked before so it didn’t bother you plus you knew you were safe with your girlfriends.
“oh sweetheart.” Wanda cooed, picking you up. “did you get your period love?”
more tears fell as she carried you bridal style to the bath. with a wave of her wrist there was warm water in the tub and her clothes were also gone. gently she hopped in placing you curled up in her lap. nat removed her clothes to show toned muscle and slipped in beside her. it was a big tub, tony was not one to spare expenses much to peppers dismay when she first brought home Morgan to find a car already with custom plates with Morgan’s name on it in the garage.
“tony what the hell is this?” she had asked pointing to the car, Morgan’s carseat in her hand.
“well its called planning my dear wife.”
“planning is writing it out on paper not buying it 16 years early.”
Wanda chuckled at the memory before focusing back on your. she carded a hand though your hair and you whined softly.
“gonna made the water dirty.” you whined “and i ruined my hoodie.” you sniffled “the one you and natty bought me from disneyland.” you cried. nat rubbed a circle on your back knowing this was the work of pesky hormones but doing nothing to invalidate your feelings. Wanda smiled down at you.
“why are you smiling.” you sobbed.
“oh sweetheart do you forget i have magic sometimes.” Wanda cooed
“oh.” you hiccuped.
“its already clean and folded on the bed which has fresh sheets.” she started kissing you all over your face, tasting the salty tears. “and natty and I will buy you ten more if we need to. anything for our sweet girl.”
“even the goofy one?” you smiled looking up with teary eyes.
nat chuckled. they were so whipped for you. “anything you can ever dream of of my love.” nat cooed. “and whatever we can buy with the new black master-card i have from tony.”
“how-“ you were going to ask how but another cramp hit and tears flooded your eyes as blood swirled in the bathwater.
“oh sweetheart don’t cry.” Wanda cooed seeing the water was making you upset she waved her hand and the blood disappeared from the water.
“honey i wouldn’t care if the bath was 100% blood as long as your ok. i would do anything for you.”
“we.” nat corrected “we would do anything for you.” Wanda rubbed circles over your stomach and her fingers glowed a soft red hue in the bath water as she took away some of the pain for you. you sighed in relief at her magic touch.
“and to answer your question, all it took was a little blackmail.” you laughed at her smirk.
“come one love lets get you washed up.”
when Wanda had finished scrubbing your body clean for you, you were too tired to do it yourself. nat dried you with a towel and slipped you back into your comfy and now, thanks to Wanda, clean clothes.
curling up in bed with nat, Wanda returned with food for all of you and a mountain of all different kinds of chocolate and popcorn.
“I vote we have a movie day today.” Wanda proposed. nat smiled at you and brushed the hair from your face, “id love that” she agreed “ what about you Y/n/n?”
“only if i get lots of hugs.” you mumbled in an embarrassed way that made the redheads hearts skip a beat.
“alright then.” wand climbed in beside you and put down the tray of food. “you get first pick Y/n/n” Wanda grinned and nat passed you the remote.
“here you go” you took it and placed a chocolate in your mouth. going to reach for another Wanda lightly slapped your hand away.
“food first.” she chided softly. you pouted and picked a movie. after the first 20 minutes or so you hd finished lunch and were happily curled in the arms of your girls munching chocolate. maybe you should get your period more often you thought. then another cramp hit making you keen softly. never-mind you thought. Wanda ran her magic fingers over you lower back and the pain stopped. you knew then and there your girls would always be there. you were never going to be alone again.
Was wondering if I would be ok to request a sick reader with Wandanat where readers just come out of surgery (could be for anything, like injured on a mission, wisdom teeth etc) and they’re kind of loopy still, not really sure if it counts as a sick fix though so I don’t mind if it’s not your thing 😅
A Little Less Wisdom
〖Notes: Okay, I had my wisdom teeth out a few months ago and I thought I'd be funny after waking up. NO. I just cried. I cried a lot. And then I got confused and hit my ride home. It was a long day.〗
〖Summary: You need your wisdom teeth out.〗
Out of all of the problems you could face as a superhero, ‘impacted wisdom teeth’ was never on your list. It hadn’t even crossed your mind; it just wasn’t something you’d ever believed that you’d need to worry about. Maybe there was a part of you that considered the possibility, but when there were so many other more dangerous things to worry about dental health didn’t really make the top hundred.
But two weeks ago, when your girlfriends had noticed the way you were avoiding hard foods and the copious amounts of over-the-counter pain meds you were taking, they finally said something. It really didn’t click to you that anything was wrong until Natasha had brought it up, a look on her face that betrayed her true concern.
Once they had completed their makeshift intervention, you began to notice the real pain in your mouth and began to wonder how exactly you had ignored it in the first place. Your best guess was that something was always hurting from one battle or another, that this one just didn’t seem too pressing. That sprained ankle had been a worse issue than the tooth pain. Until you noticed it, of course.
After a checkup from Dr. Helen Cho (who reiterated over and over again that she was not a dentist) and a few x-rays later, you were found to have “severely impacted” wisdom teeth. Not just regularly impacted, but severely. Not only that, but it was all four of them. You didn’t do anything in halves.
Wanda had been shocked at how well you had been hiding your discomfort, while Natasha was more focused on helping you to feel better. She wanted you to have surgery as quickly as possible, stating her concerns about possible complications and expected recovery time.
This was her way of expressing her love, getting overly caught up on details, and making sure that everything was 100% taken care of so that neither you nor Wanda had to worry. She was a wonderful girlfriend.
The day of the surgery came and went, a mission getting in the way of your dental care. This didn’t particularly bother you, part of you (as embarrassed as you felt) was incredibly nervous about the operation. You had read up about it in secret and had learned about every single complication ever recorded in human history.
This was, of course, a bad idea. Now you were panicking about dry-socket, nerve damage, infection, and possible death as a result of the anesthetic. The idea of being completely out of control of your surroundings was not one that you particularly enjoyed.
Unfortunately, beings who wanted to destroy the human race could only keep you from getting your wisdom teeth out for so long. The day arrived and you were mildly freaking out about it. Wanda, who could literally sense your emotions, had been trying to keep you calm by distracting you with silly little tasks and offering small comforts.
Natasha was less subtle about her attempts to soothe you; she straight up hadn’t left your side the whole day. She kept murmuring reassurances to you while you watched some dumb TV show and had even done research of her own to combat what you had found. She combatted your fear with love and statistics. These two very different ways of trying to make you feel less anxious were working very well together to put you at ease.
You lay back in the dentist’s chair and stared with panic-filled eyes at your loving girlfriends who were hovering in the doorway, unable to enter the sterile field. Suddenly, a very loud thought filled your head.
It’s all going to be okay. Breathe. We’ll be right here. You’ll be okay.
It was hard to describe how it felt when Wanda projected a thought into your mind. You could tell that it wasn’t a thought of your own, it had a comforting feeling. A soft, gentle, loving feeling. It put you at ease more than the intravenous anesthetic that was being pumped into your body.
The last thing you felt as you closed your eyes was that lingering emotion that Wanda had pushed into your mind.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
“They’re waking up,” Natasha murmured, nudging Wanda slightly. The witch looked up from her phone where she had been anxiously tapping away at some game, a look of relief flooding her face. The two women stared down at you, both smiling as your beautiful e/c eyes fluttered open.
“Hey sweetie, how are you feeling?” Wanda cooed softly, reaching out to brush a few strands of hair out of your lashes. You opened your mouth as if about to speak, but then closed it again. You repeated the motion a few times, your eyebrows furrowing slightly as you started to reach up for your mouth.
“No no no, let’s not do that. We’ve gotta leave that alone for now, okay?” The brunette chastised, quickly pulling your hand away. You pulled a pout, but the time it took for you to actually change your expression was absolutely hilarious. It took you a full five seconds to register that something had been said and react to it.
“Mh mufh iffmahds.” You mumbled around the gauze, the words you were trying to say lost around the cotton fabric stuffed into your mouth. Natasha leaned forward and bent down to kiss your head, leaving her lips there for a few moments to express her relief. She knew that nothing bad would happen to you, but the anxiety was always going to be there.
“Just rest baby, we’ll talk when you’re a little more awake.” She said kindly, grabbing Wanda’s hand as your eyes fell closed again. The redhead turned to her and grinned before kissing her soft pink lips.
“They’ll be okay Wands.” She reassured, resting her forehead against Wanda’s.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
The peace of you being sort of asleep only lasted for twenty or so minutes. This time when you woke back up, you were ready to go. You quite literally came up swinging, your eyes wide and yelling something that neither of your girlfriends could understand through the gauze.
“Woah! Calm down, it’s alright babe, it’s okay.” Natasha said, reaching over to grab your fists.
“The chicken! The chicken’s comin’!” You cried, forcing the words out as you struggled against the grasp of your concerned girlfriend.
“What are you talking about? There’s no chicken!” The redhead replied, sounding frantic as she dodged a kick aimed at her face. You weren’t fully coherent, but your fighting skills were still very much intact. You had trained for this and were using your training to keep yourself safe from the aforementioned chicken.
“Robot chickens! So many, too many, can’t do it, gotta go!” You spat out, starting to get out of the reclining chair. You made it halfway up before falling back again, not entirely prepared for the weight of gravity. Gravity was hard.
“Y/n, Y/n. Listen to me. There are no chickens, okay? We’re in medical, you had surgery, and it’s all okay. Relax babes. You’re safe. It's just Nat and me.” Wanda soothed, putting every bit of calming energy into her voice. She felt bad for using witchcraft on you to alter your emotions, but she needed to calm you down as quickly as possible.
Thankfully, it worked. You sat back and relaxed, your body going limp against Natasha’s. You quite literally fell against your favorite assassin but remained conscious this time, breathing heavily as you relaxed again.
“I don’t like poultry.” You grumbled, nuzzling your face into Natasha’s shoulder. The redhead laughed softly, and Wanda let out a weary sigh, a grin spreading over her face. The operation was over, but it was becoming more and more obvious that that had been the easy part. Now they had to deal with an incredibly confused, slightly high you who would probably remember absolutely none of this.
Sick day
Tumblr media
Description: you’ve been keeping quiet about you being sick with a little cold you’ve caught because you didn’t want Tom to stop everything he was doing just to take care of you, that is until he still finds you in bed.
Pairing: Tom holland x black fem reader
Note: just another shitty writing :-(
-
Tom woke up and looked around the room, everything seem a bit…off, usually y/n magenta silk bonnet would be on the dresser next to the scarf she puts on before bed, her clothes would be thrown on the end of the bed and there would be 3 pairs of shoes since she can’t seem to decide what to wear.
Tom looked to the side, to see his wife sleeping peacefully, her beautiful dark skin shined because the light shined through the curtains. Her hair was wrapped up or so she thought, her box braids slipped out of the bonnet and scarf. Y/n started to cough in her sleep, it went from small coughs to being awoken up from coughing.
“Hey honey, you okay?” Tom said to his wife while running to her side. She nodded still coughing, she then pointed to the little trash can across the room “hand me that” she said in between the coughs
Tom got up and put the trash in front of his wife as spit in the trash. “Yuck” y/n said putting the trash to the side of the bed “y/n are you sick?” Tom asked rubbing her back “yeah but I’ll be fine in no time, you can continue your work, no need to worry” she said with a weak smile
“I don’t think that’s a good idea, you can barely move” he said with a concerned look painted on his face, she frowned because she knew this would happen. “I’ll be right back” Tom said while grabbing his phone and walking out of the bedroom.
Y/n sighed and laid back down in bed, before she knew it she was gone, Tom walked back in and saw her sleeping quietly. He tucked her in and tried to at least put her braids back in the bonnet so they won’t get messed up.
He kissed y/n’s forehead and exited out the room to make some soup for her.
-
When he was finished he brought the hot bowl of soup and some crackers to her, placing it on the nightstand beside the bed, he tapped her. “Honey wake up, I made soup” he said softly
Y/n sat up groggily and sighed, she rubbed her eyes tiredly and looked at the soup. She grabbed the bowl and started to eat some, she ate half the soup and some crackers.
Then proceeded to lay back down, her husband looked at her while she drifted back to sleep, tom placed the damn near empty soup bowl back on the nightstand and sat down at the end of the bed watching over y/n as she slept peacefully.
-
This song was kinda my inspo….it was literally playing when I was writing this🧍🏾
Is it too early in the fic for me to be hoping she gets sick from being out in the cold rain and the girls have to take care of her? I’m loving sugar mommies! Could I be added to the tag list please?
Wow this turned out to be longer than I first anticipated!! I’d say this is set a year or so after their first meet.
Warnings: None, just pure fluff. Some typos and cruddy writing but that’s it
Word Count: 2122!
Thanks for the ask! Hope this is okay for you! 💋
You flop unceremoniously onto the sofa, dragging the large fluffy blanket over your soaking wet body and just lie there. Your book bag lies in a wet heap on the floor besides your uncovered feet.
Fuck. Will you ever learn to take a coat or an umbrella out with you to class? The short answer is: no, probably not. Only this time, Carol didn’t come to your rescue and you had to walk home in just a sweatshirt and leggings with shoes on your feet that are defiantly not 100% waterproof, despite what the bloke at the shoe shop had told you.
And to make things worse? You’re sure you’re getting sick from the rain.
From somewhere in the penthouse, you can hear Wanda singing to herself and it makes you smile, despite how crappy you feel. You fall asleep listening to her voice.
💋
When Wanda walks into the front room, she’s humming under her breath and tapping out a quick text to the group chat. No one replies instantly which makes her tut.
“Where the hell is everyone?”
Her phone buzzes and Wanda quickly looks down.
NattyBear: Be back soon, bunny! Carol’s driving xx
Wands: Okaaaay, is Y/N with you?
It doesn’t take Natasha long to reply.
NattyBear: No, her class should have finished by now, ring her? Xx
Wanda does just that; hitting your number and lifting her phone to her ear. God, she’s misses your voice.
Only, she’s sure she can hear buzzing coming from somewhere nearby.
“What the…”
She finds your phone in your hand and your face squished - in her option, very cutely - against the couch cushions with the massive blanket draped over you in a pile.
Wanda takes a picture and sends it to the group chat, tagging it as: Found our sleeping beauty!♥️
She moves the blanket off your face so you don’t suffocate when her fingers trail over your forehead. She immediately presses her hand down to feel your temperature, your clammy skin hot against hers.
“Oh God.”
Wanda rips the blanket off your body and sees your damp clothes. She resists the urge to roll her eyes yet lets out a small huff from her nose.
“Detka.” She whispers, pressing her hand on your cheek now. “Detka, wake up for me.”
You shuffle, nose wrinkling as you’re brought out of your slumber.
“Don’t wanna…” You sigh, snuggling in on yourself.
“I need to move you.” Wanda presses a kiss to your temple.
You slowly open your eyes and smile groggily up at her.
“Hi.”
“Hello there darling.” Wanda smiles down at you. “Did you forget your coat again?”
You nod pitifully, sticking your bottom lip out.
“The rain crept up on me.”
Wand huffs out a laugh, leaning down to peck your nose.
“Did it jump out and attack you, detka?”
You nod, reaching your arms out to her.
“Carry me, mommy?”
Wanda’s eyes darken at her name before she shakes her head.
“Clever girl, using my name against me. C’mere.”
Wanda lifts your trembling body from the sofa and after a second to readjust you, she carries you bridal style to the bedroom on the second floor. As the two of you go, you nearly end up coughing a lung; weakly resting your pounding head on Wanda’s shoulder once you’ve finished. She mutters sweet nothings to you as she climbs the stairs, your dead weight proving to not be an issue with her iron grasp that she has around you.
When Wanda sets you down on the luscious duvet, she immediately tells you to strip down, kissing you chastely before disappearing into the bathroom to go and run you a bath. Wanda adds a generous amount of her personal supply of bubble bath and sends a text to Natasha.
Wands: Y/N is sick. Can you bring some supplies with you before you come home? I love you xo
She quickly clicks on Natasha’s other reply to the group chat, seeing her heart the picture of you; her reply underneath saying: God she’s so fucking cute x
Smiling, Wanda puts her phone back in her pocket and checks the bath, returning back to you, where you’ve given up part way through pulling your soggy sweatshirt over your head. You’re lying on the bed, face and arms covered by your sweatshirt, legs dangling off the side of the bed. Wanda tilts her head and crinkles her nose as she smiles, swearing to herself that she can hear little snores coming from you.
“Silly girl.” She mutters, walking over to you. She can now see just how wet you are and she makes a mental note to clip an umbrella to your bag pack, and to mother you about a coat every time you leave the house for the foreseeable future.
Wanda removes your shoes first, grimacing at the state of them before moving onto your socks. When she takes your pants and underwear in one motion, she can’t help but plant a kiss to your hipbone with hopes it’ll wake you up - knowing and loving the sounds you make when she does - but you don’t stir. The only thing she gains are the goosebumps rising from your flesh. Your pants land with a wet thump on the floor. Wanda straddles you when she tries to gently remove your sweatshirt, shifting your body this way and that to try and pry it from you without disturbing you too much.
You’re pretty much dead to the world.
Your sweatshirt is deposited on the floor and next is the top you’re wearing, leaving you in just your bra that Wanda really has a time removing. When she finally manages to squeeze her arms behind your back, her fingers struggle to find the clasp and after a couple more times fruitlessly trying to locate it, Wanda drags her arms back, settling them either side of your head before sighing.
She tries to front too but comes to no avail so decides on covering your chilled body with a towel and waking you up.
“Baby, wake up.” She shakes you gently. “I’ve run you a bath, come on. It’ll warm you up.”
You sleepily swat at her.
“No...”
“Come on detka.” Wanda lifts you into a sitting position which forces your eyes to narrowly open, teeth beginning the chatter. “I even used my special bubble bath. Nat and Carol don’t even get to use it.”
“Really?”
“Yes, now come on.”
“O-okay.”
Wanda wraps her arms around you as you stand, kissing the side of your temple over and over while you slowly shuffle towards the bathroom.
“S-should I be concerned that I’m partially stripped down?”
Wanda’s fingers tickle your sides.
“Shut up.” She says. “I’ve seen you naked plenty of times before.”
“Didn’t realise you were into somnophilia, Wands.” You mutter, letting her remove the towel once you’re in the bathroom. “You really need to consult me when you figure out new kinks.”
“God, you’re incorrigible.” She laughs. “Now get in the bath before you keel over from hypothermia.”
You get in the deliciously warm bath, muttering, “Screw this bra.” as you sink under the water with a loud sigh.
Wanda settles beside the bath, dipping her fingers into the water to trail your thigh.
“How are you feeling baby?” She asks.
“I’ve felt better.” You reply, eyes drifting shut again. “I’m warmer though. Thank you for the bath, mommy.”
“It’s my pleasure.” Wanda smiles. “Any excuse to see my detka in a bath.”
You smile and lean forward, smiling softly as you press your lips to hers. When you try to kiss her deeper, Wanda pulls back.
“You’re sick, sweet girl. You need rest.”
“No I’m not...” Your body it seems, proves otherwise, and you are quick to sit up as a cough rattles through you. You lie back once you’re done and bashfully look at Wanda. “I can rest after...”
You pull her closer, smashing your lips back together and this time when you silently lick out with your tongue, Wanda opens your mouth to her.
Things were going great until someone yanks Wanda away and laughs.
“What you need baby girl, is a dominant with more willpower than Wanda here.” Carol says with a lopsided grin. Natasha walks into the bathroom, a carrier bag in hand.
“Why do you still have a bra on?”
You shrug, sinking back into the bath.
“I never liked this bra much anyway.” You say. “Plus Wands couldn’t figure it out.”
“The clasp at the front, baby.” Natasha laughs, passing the bag to Carol before kneeling besides the bath. Her hand reaches down to your chest where she effortlessly unclasps your bra and watches with delight as it falls from your chest, revealing you to them.
“It wasn’t that hard, Wands.” Natasha smiles. Her hand moves to your forehead. “How’re you feeling?”
“I feel okay. A bit cruddy.”
“She didn’t take a coat again.” Wanda tells them. You glare at her.
“Traitor.” You mumble.
“Payback for throwing me under the bus about your bra, detka.”
“Y/N, how many times do we have to keep telling you to take a coat.” Natasha frowns.
“I’m sorry...”
“Did you walk all the way here?” Carol asks, dropping the carrier bag to the floor and joining her partners beside the bath.
“Yeah.”
“Why didn’t you get an Uber? Or the subway? Hell, you could have waited at class and we’d have picked you up!”
“I...I...” You sink lower into the bath, eyes downcast. “I was almost here when it started to rain and I tried to get a cab but this old lady was waiting for one too so I let her have mine...I’m really sorry guys. I am.”
Carol sighs and hold your hand to her lips, kissing your fingers a couple of times.
“Let’s just focus on getting you better, okay? We can’t have a sick kitten on her birthday now, can we?”
At the mention of your birthday, your eyes lighten up.
“Why? What do you have planned...?”
“Nothing unless you get better.”
“Fine, fine.” You say. “Do I at least get a hint?”
“No.” Carol says, reaching for a take out cup behind her. “But what you do get is a hot chocolate, a kiss and some cough medicine.”
She hands you your drink, leans over to peck your lips and then digs through the bag to find the cough syrup Natasha picked out. You spy it over the rim of your cup and pull a face.
“Don’t complain, baby. It was either that or leeches.”
You can’t help but laugh.
Carol fills the lid with the sticky goo and holds it near your mouth.
“Come on, open up.”
You pull a face.
“The sooner you take this, the sooner we can cuddle in bed with crap food and some good movies.”
“Do I get to choose?” You ask, eyeing Natasha briefly as she begins to massage the foot closest to her. Wanda continues to trail her fingers over your thigh.
“You take your medicine, yes.” Carol replies.
You open your mouth and Carol pours the cough syrup straight in, grinning when you shudder as you swallow it.
“Ugh, that stuff is disgusting!”
“One more.” Carol says. This time, after you swallow the medicine, you submerge yourself fully into the bath before coming back up again.
“Can you wash my hair for me? And then dry and brush it?”
“You did that on purpose.” Natasha playfully slaps your foot.
“I’m sick. I’m allowed.”
“Are you now?” Natasha asks, arching an eyebrow.
“Yep. I don’t make the rules.”
“Hmmm.” Natasha sets your foot back down. “How about while I wash your hair, Carol and Wanda set up the bedroom and make it all cosy for when we’re done?”
“Okay!”
“Yeah? Good.” Natasha rolls her sleeves up and grabs the shampoo bottle. Wanda and Carol stand and as they leave the room, you hear Carol say, “Don’t think I didn’t notice Y/N getting special treatment with your bubble bath.” before she slaps Wanda’s ass. The red head lets out a laugh and runs from the room, Carol right behind her.
You try to watch them but Natasha pushes you back down into the bath.
“Nu-uh. You wanted me to wash your hair.”
From the other room you hear Wanda squeal and you presume Carol has caught her. Natasha begins to lather the shampoo onto your head and your eyes instantly roll shut.
“Do my hair washing duties involve washing your body too?”
💋
That night, you fall asleep content and happy; surrounded by Natasha, Wanda and Carol on the King size bed with one of your favourite films playing on the TV.
Life is good.
sick
Wanda let's herself into the house. After not seeing her girlfriend all day she wanted to check on her. She walked up to the bedroom and opened the door. The room was dark, sniffles and heavy breathing filled the room.
"Baby?" Wanda called out making her way to the bed
"Wands?" She croaked turning over to face the girl.
Wanda could take in her girls features, the usual happy, smile is replaced with a frown. She's pale yet her cheeks are red as if she's burning up.
"I'd ask how you're feeling but it's a stupid question" Wanda says putting her hand to the girls forehead feeling that she's way to warm.
"Nothing you say is stupid" the girl replies with a weak smile. Her sweet girlfriend still being her sweet girlfriend even when she's not feeling too good.
"I'm gonna go get you some vicks to help with your nose and some extra tissues. I'll also get you some medicine and a cold towel to try and get your fever down. Have you eaten anything? I'll bring you some water too" Wanda says ready to look after her girlfriend.
"Thanks babe, nope I've been here all day feeling sorry for myself" she tries to laugh but erupts into a coughing fit.
"Careful" Wanda says as she helps her through the coughing fit "it's ok baby,I'll be right back and then you'll let me take care of yo ok"
"But you'll get sick"
"Don't worry about that, I'll be fine" she says placing a kiss to her forehead, leaving to get her love everything she needs and  returns a few moments later. She sits where she did  before and places a cold wet towel on her forehead. "There you go my love,that should help with yoy fever"
"Thanks"
"Shhh, I know you got a sore throat. Let me spray this numbing spray that should help. Once I've done that do you wanna try eat this?"
She nods her head sleepy.
"Good, once you've done that I'll give you some medicine and rub some vicks on your chest"
Wanda feeds her till she's had enough and gives her the medicine.
"There we go, it should be easier to breathe soon babe. Now lets get you comfy" she says getting on the bed and guiding her girlfriend to her chest. She cuddles in and starts to relax as Wanda plays with her hair.
"Thanks babe. You're the best"
"Its ok my love, now what do you want to watch?"
"Anything you wanna, I'm happy you're here"
Knowing that Kitchen Nightmares is her girlfriends comfort show Tara puts that on.
"Thats my favourite episode" she breathes out sinking more and more into Tara's touch.
"I thought you'd like to watch it since you always watch it when you're down"
"You're best" she says sleepy
"Anything for you baby"
"I can't believe he found that!" Wanda says to her but doesn't get a reply
"Babe?" She looks down to find her girlfriend asleep snores coming out
"You must be tired, sleep well, I love you"
Well that sucked
