why are people fighting on twt about who’s more important for bts? like making so many posts about how bts wouldn’t be anywhere without Jk, is a bit absurd don’t yall think??

genuinely some of these fans have problems. BTS wouldn’t be bts without any of them. Each of them contributed to the project, and worked to achieve this great harmony that the members have.

Fighting for who would be more successful without bts is also as stupid. And pointless. Because as we all have seen this week, if the majority of you wanted to stream and support each member, they all would be equals in streaming and wins and so on. But you lot are so freaking picky, you only stream when it is convenient for you.

So yea, Jk had more international success bc that was his goal with this album. The other members made their albums having different goals or expectations in mind. No one forces anyone to stream something you don’t like; music is there in order for you to enjoy it and im sure bts wants the same thing; but don’t come forward saying jk would do great without bts or that bts needed jk to be this great, because thats simply not true.

bts is a project that is as successful as it is today bc of all the boys work. all of them worked hard for this. And besides their obvious talent, bts work hard to maintain their group environment and make it a safe place for each other. they have chemistry which helps them grow and work together. It’s not only their talent that sustains bts work, but their off camera bond.

lastly, we all have seen this past year that they can release solo albums. they can be successful on their own, in their niche or globally. i don’t think its our right to judge what they chose to do. but at the end of the day, they chose bts. they chose to be together. they chose to do ms within the same time period for them to be together and do group activities after.

they themselves chose bts. so as much yall “fans”whine about your fav ruining their career for not going solo, respect your fav’s decision for wanting to be with bts. thats the least you can do.

I feel you! Personally it took me a long time to get used to their newer songs and I like them in general but I think the overexposure was what did it for me, didn’t felt special to me anymore and I just got gradually tired of their promos.

Its so hard being a black women who likes fanfiction. Like there is just still so little representation. Even when things are “reader” they are coded for white people.

No one is running their fingers through my silky hair. Or brushing hair out of my eyes behind my ear. I have an afro and when I dont its in twists. Also, black women dont really let people touch or play in their hair.

I dont have pink nipples.

I dont blush. My skin will not turn red no matter how hard Im blushing.

Now I thought it was hard in the Peaky Fandom. But there are some amazing black fic writers here and likely more have emerged since I havent been active in the fandom for a few years.

So much BTS lore feels like fanfiction and I can't get over it

Two of the members hated each other at first. They argued a lot and one time, they threw folded clothes at each other and the member who folded them had to come scold them. And now they keep reminding everyone how long they've known each other for. They wrote a song together where they said that "respect is a higher tier than love" and then called each other "my respect."

The smartest member of the group (one the previous two morons btw) didn't know how to tie his shoelaces until highschool. He doesn't eat seafood because he loves crabs. He's a literal geniues and he's so clumsy and such a dork (and I relate so deeply). And that body, guys, I'm telling you. This whole guy was made by a fanfic author.

Their company was near bankrupcy when they debuted. One of the members, who was getting offers from so many other companies, joined this one because he admired another member who was already a part of it. When these two met for the first time, member two was only wearing underwear and member one said "wow, thighs."

Another member came to an audition, not to audition himself but to support a friend. He was the only person from that audition round to get in. The friend did not.

Another member, who was studying to be an actor, was street cast on a bus.

One of them lost confidence and tried to leave before the debut, but another convinced him to come back, because they "needed him."

The whole industry hated them when they debuted and now they're arguably the best kpop group worldwide. (Arguably, read: argue with the wall)

How he would kiss you~ | Jk

The kiss would start off slow, with you two in any situation to which one innocent peck would make things become heated.

Each and everytime his lips would elope your bottom lip into his mouth, letting his teeth gently nub on it and pull back slightly until it would flop back down into place before the kiss got more intense. After the little lip bite he would make sure his top lip was in-between your lips, granting him better access to your bottom lip as he than began to deepen the kiss once his one hand found its way to the side of your face, cupping your cheek in a slighter rough manner.

Your tongue would naturally follow, making sure he got a pretty decent amount of the wet muscle, to which he would never complain and sometimes would even suck on your tongue ever so slightly. One in a while, though, he would make sure his tongue went into your mouth, exploring the place he desired to taste in a messy manner.

Messy manner? Oh this boy loved messy kisses. When the kiss would get sloppy after both of your jaws becoming sore and all, he would take this as the time to just work the tongue, stopping the kisses and just letting his tongue touch, play, & trail your lips or sometimes around your lips. "I'm just seeing," He would cover up his track everytime you asked why he did that, even though deep down you knew he had a spit kink and would do that to 'clean' your face from the comvined slober of the two of you, that may have traveled around your lips.

His hands would sometimes get sneaky when they weren't holding your face, and would sometimes go to your boobs---despite the cloth separating skin to skin contact---and would squeeze them in his big hangs, purposely trying to make you horny, and plu he just like boobs.

When you two would kiss during intercourse, he would kiss you slowly, not intense or rough, just patiently and passionately. No biting involved (surprisingly) he would just take things slow... [besides his hips that drove into you-]

When he prepped you with kisses to calm you down I feel like he would rest his hands on your shoulders and gently rub them while he kissed the corners of your lips, never really fully kissing you as you spoke about your problems.

I also feel that most times when he would cup your face while making out his hands would tug on your hair, trying out new preferences and seeing if you liked his actions by opening his eyes for a split second to see your pleasure eyes, even though they were closed the eyebrows told him everything.

He loved feeling your hands around his neck and in his hair. It was absolutely glory to him while you too kissed, or in general, really.

I've seen complaints about how Marry My Husband is being adapted into a live action drama, but personally I like the changes, they keep me on my toes.

I mean, the fact that they changed the year it takes place in is reasonable, but what actually threw me off was that they had the same ages they would've had in that year. Buuuut the aging up gives way for other sideplots, like the pregnancy scare plot which would've been relevant at their age as it was more of an expectation in their thirties than in their twenties.

I loved how Kang Jiwon looked with the perm and long hair, but thematically, a hair cut makes so much more sense as a "closing cycles" type of thing.

And having Kang Jiwon straight out tell Sumin "hey, I no longer like you" also makes sense to me. Sure, she had her 20-step-revenge-plan, but even with her visit to prison in the end, I feel like she didn't get the closure (pleasure?) of standing up for herself at the moment stuff was happening.

Also the moment Jiwon sets up for Sumin and Minhwan to sleep together is soo good. In every version. But I think that so far, live action is my favorite. Park Ming-young did a good job with the "I made this bed of nails, I have no choice but to lie on it now" vibe.

It pisses me off that the Grammys have never recognized Dis-ease. That's a song the world deserves to hear at least once. A song that deserves acknowledgement. It's so good. Home too. Everything about those songs - the tone the members' voices take, the personalities their voices express, the production (Pdogg is the GOAT), the instrumentation, the arrangement, everything about those songs is the best possible expression of it to ever exist.

BTS makes such good music.

Their solo stuff has been nice, the guys have shown depth and growth in various ways. Side-stepping the topic of BigHit's blundering some roll-outs, most of the music they've put out has been more than decent. But my gosh all it's shown me is the distinct difference in their solo work compared to the magic all seven together make on a track.

The guys are better the way they are. And it would be nice to have them back now. It would be great if in some hours when we cross over into the new year, we'd be crossing over into 2025 not 2024. I'm desperate to have them back. Trying to accept the fact that Home was released 4 years ago and Dis-ease 3 years back, was hard today. The boys were only getting started before their plans were interrupted and it would be nice if the members were brought back now.

But whatever. I know they're doing their service, and I'll stop whining.

Needed to get that out of my system before the year ends and I can well and truly get over it.

Anyway, Dis-ease. This might be the best song BTS has ever made. Jimin's voice, his bridge, the rapline's verses, the personalities the vocal line add to the song, the crisp, frankly ridiculous production. It's a song that best distills and crystallizes everything good about how BTS makes music. There's a few songs that do that well, including:

Ok I had just read a fanfic where most of the Rachel & Chloe dynamic was pretty well done, but Chloe realised and told Rachel that in no universe/timeline they would've worked outside of their situationship, it almost tore me apart. I have to believe that surely there is a timeline/alternate universe that makes them compatible just for who they are, without all the tragic experiences.

How BTS Manifests Success With Astrology🪄

I have a hypothesis people w/ hard aspects to Neptune find it more difficult to believe in themselves (but I need more evidence). But I find this true for my clients.

For example - BTS's group chart has an exact square between their Neptune in their (4H) and Ascendant. On its own, it means that they suffer between distinguishing who (they) are vs the identity that's expected from them. Politically, we also know SK use them as a way to exert soft power.

For an individual, this would translate to them wanting to fulfill ideals they picked up at home they struggle to achieve. But an exact supportive trine from their (12H) Scorpio Saturn says they'll meet them through being shrewd and calculated using 'invisible' resources. That's their grounding and helps if they cement the belief that they're an underdog. Marketing wise, this worked to their advantage. This can also come in the form of tactical investments from large but quiet and unseen entities.

But the separating square with their (7H) Gemini Mars can lead to their energies lacking clear direction or hitting plateaus because of getting lost in the process of planning and executions being inspired but convoluted. We witnessed this with BTS's concepts, world building, and branding identity becoming enmeshed as a clever business strategy. With the duality of Gemini, especially because they're a (7H) stellium, it also says that they're triple prone to shape shifting to mirror the opinions of others, especially if it benefits them, at the expense of their integrity. The ruler of their house of fans and fandom (11H Libra ~ 8H Venus) forms a separating but powerful trine to that Neptune. Their income and obligations to others is well fed by the lack of a clear boundary with their consumers. That Neptune forms the heart of their grand water trine. Water allows the flow of all things for better or worse.

To Manifest, I've mentioned self-belief being essential, but I imagine that they had/have issues with imposter syndrome and self-concept problems. Even though manifesting for them may be accelerated once the first hurdle is overcome, they'd have anxieties over thinking everything will eventually go up in smoke if they reveal they're individuals. And, via the issues that come with Neptune, breaking the facade and daring to be the messy individuals they've always been.

a few days ago I saw a video of this girl talking to a half Korean guy on omegle and he was criticizing Koreans for being racist and the girl replies with "no that's not the case Korea is a good country" miss ma'am have you visited that country? do you know what it feels like to live there? No? But you have watched some shows and you like bts so you have made this fairytale image of that country and you refuse to believe the reality.

South Koreans are racist. The beauty standards are harmful for the whole society and the fans need to grow up and understand that. Most of you don't even like the music you just love the visuals they are selling you! YOU ALL ARE WALKING A VERY THIN LINE BETWEEN APPRECIATING AND FETISHIZING and don't even give me that "they'll grow up and learn, let people enjoy whatever they like, they are teenagers" no I won't let it be. I got to know about bts when I was 13 (I am almost 20 now) through a friend, it was before bts was so popular and even then I knew how toxic the beauty standards were in South Korea, I knew the idols weren't the reality, so should all of you.

"It's just music it's harmless" no it's not just music and the music isn't even the problem it's the artificial natural beauty they are selling, my 11 yr old cousin came up to me and said "look didi Lisa is so pretty and it's all natural why don't I have skin like her?" and I had to tell her and explain with proof how much work most of these idols have got done. they are not even treated as artists or even humans, THEY ARE TREATED AS PRODUCTS with shelf life - not allowed to eat, not allowed to date or say anything that might make them look less than perfect

Most of the k-pop idols are starving themselves, so many of them pass out at the end of the shows and still I see videos on YouTube like "trying the k-pop idol diet" "k-pop idol workout" "how to get korean glass skin" Like!?!? How stupid are these people? Do they not know the impact it can have on impressionable kids?

Bangtan Weekly Report...

So a lot happening in here in the last 24 hours. Joon's appointment took everyone by surprise. Seems legit significant and I wondered if this will affect his military service... not in the fact that he would be exempt because of it... not implying that at all. What I'm wondering is after he completes his basic training, would he just go ahead and shift into some kind of position where he is also associated with this particular activity in the military? Stationed at whichever areas are doing this activity and such...

I think for sure it will definitely add to his future opportunities and influence in the public arena. It’s so exciting for him!

Also: Yoongi headed to Japan. I love that shirt, vacation vibes. I hope he was able to rest a little bit and get something to ease his coughing though. I know he keeps saying don't worry, he's not sick, but something is up because you don't hack up a lung like that after walking a few hundred yards for nothing.

Also today: Tae headed to Japan Spain! He looked dressed for an island party. It's been a while since we've seen him wear earrings. Or, I should say an earring since its only one. AND THE HAIR! I'm not a big fan of the frizzy perm but he is squeezing all he can out of his 20s before enlistment with the ash blonde hair moment again!

How does he even see where he's going? How did anyone recognize him? That hat reminds me of a woven straw basket I used to have in my dining room.

Also today: I see people grumbling (outright bitching) about the commercialization of Festa/BTS... commercialization = selling out...

This is my take on all of that (and probably an unpopular opinion, but anyways...):

People are all for their "sold-out" king when a random t-shirt or shoes they are wearing or an insulated mug sells out, but our guys don't see a penny of that.

And now you're saying official BTS merch would be somehow unsavory... a money grab... even though money from the sale of THAT DOES go into their pockets?... please think through what you are saying...

And commercialization in the form of sponsorships is not good? How is it not good?...Sponsorships are great!

Here's the deal... money makes the world go round... so that exact thing is what will help perpetuate the longevity of BTS, those sponsorships will give BTS a shit ton of money in return for licensing/promotion and underwriting big ticket projects.

It keeps BTS alive in the public eye and keeps the income coming in order for them to do first class work and endeavor to promote themselves and give us great events. Fabulous purple fireworks shows are not free. Sponsors help underwrite the cost of that. And because these events are happening will also indirectly help the many small businesses in those areas because of the influx of visitors to these events.

Turning the city purple creates excitement about BTS and reminds locals that BTS are global cultural ambassadors. Army should be hella proud of that.

What other kpop group is getting news coverage for their 10th anniversary? None.

Deep pockets allow BTS to book stadium tours, so the more chance more of us can see them in-person.

The day the money stops flowing will REALLY be the day BTS retires.

If we are who we say we are and intend to support BTS no matter what happens... IF WE ARE IN THIS BANGTAN SHIT FOR LIFE ... and what we are given right now is merch and purple corndogs, then I will buy a keychain or a book or eat purple tteokbokki, or whatever, along with whatever music is released. If you really are against it, then don't buy anything but don't act like what they are doing is disgusting.

Anyway, its been a full day. We are headed into Festa season for the next two weeks and beyond. The timeline seems focused on positive things. Or maybe that's my imagination. I am going to enjoy it while I can.
