✰ tattoo artist!abby goes through lots of customers on a day to day basis, and personally she could care less whether they’re sober and just looking for some new ink or drunk with some impulsive decision making after a bottomless margarita from fat tuesday’s because she’s still making that bank regardless.

it was extremely easy for jihoon to find inspiration for his music from you. what he didn’t realize was that you left an indelible mark on his taste in music. whenever you two spent time together, he would give you the aux (literal or proverbial) because he was interested in what music made you happy, sad, want to dance, relax, etc. he listened very intently, and it took almost no time at all for the songs you introduced to him to make their way onto his playlists. more than that, he would frequently hum the melodies of songs you showed him as he walked around his place and cleaned. no one would ever point it out to him because they had no way of knowing that the new songs he obsessed over were all tied to you, but, eventually, jihoon realized that all the songs he associated with you were the only ones he ever had stuck in his head now. memories of you permanently embedded songs into his mind, a playlist only for him to listen to in the quiet moments of life. as he wrote lyrics that expressed this occurrence, he understood that it all came down to the fact he could never, and would never, get you out of his head.

I just need to tell you how much I love the new M9 art but especially Jester’s cool as hell dress! Were you inspired by anything particular when you were working on it? It’s so frothy and great.

Laura included a picture of a beach in the initial brief. Like it was just a pic of a tropical beach, and there were lots of pastel colors, frothy waves. And that was about it. I started with just getting the body down, and aging up her face in a way that felt like it still had Jester's joy and playfulness.

Like I really focused on the face, actually. I think Jester was the one I was the most worried about- Jester is so iconic and.... the character isn't fragile, but the archetype is? Like if you fuck it up and make her look too seductive or too innocent or too... idk. She's complex, and I didn't want to break her, because I was sure that if she was wrong, it would make everyone else feel wrong along with her. So I focused on the face.

So then as soon as Laura had that starting point, she suddenly knew exactly where to go with it. She liked a top, but asked for a dress. Then she added ruffles for days. Then she added jewelry for days. Added the hat, etc. Like that is allll Laura. Laura is very, very good at her job. We all knew that, right?

omg another fun thing about Jester- I asked Producer Kyle if Sprinkle was still alive, and if I should draw him. And we both agreed, almost simultaneously, that Sprinkle is not dead until those words come out of the mouth of Laura Bailey and no other.

Let's admit it, He would be quite surprised but get used to it in seconds. While Silver looks at you, his attention goes to his surroundings, He would love to sleep too, before lunchbreak ends, but he's still cautious of his surroundings, Like.. What if you get taken away? Possibilities are impossible but this man has a crazy disaster of possibilities in his mind.

It won't happen at all, By the way. You're just sleeping for a while before getting back to stressing school works.

Silver's head freezes, Realizing he can't move his head too much as you were moving your head somewhere more comfortable on his shoulder and your hands hugging his arm like a pillow. Silver gently grabs your shoulder, his forearm protecting the back of your head and placing your head on his lap softly. He takes off his blazer, folding it until it's thick enough to be a pillow without moving too much to wake you up. hi guys! im back. i went tokyo for a few days. got back at 7 this morning after taking an overnight 7 hour bus ride.... that i did not sleep on bc i cant sleep in moving vehicles. this will be something closer to a proper blog post i guess. splatoon related convention? experience below

i've kept my mouth shut about my plans to go because its not as well known on the english side of the fanbase and i didnt wanna make people too jealous sorry LOL , but i went to splaket 22! it's an unofficial, splatoon-only doujinshi market/artists alley. this was my first convention-sort-of event ive been to since i was... in high school. i also dont really get to meet many other hardcore splatoon fans irl. i was nervous about it because i don't know a whole lot of people on the JP side nor do i have a lot of confidence in my japanese speaking/listening, but in the end it was SUPER fun. i wish i couldve talked a bit more to the artists i did encounter to comment on what i liked about their works but. Skill Issue very few non-japanese people at this event of course but one of the only english speakers i saw i called out to bc they were wearing a shirt with this exact image printed on it no video and no photos outside of designated areas were allowed so i got like. zero pics of my own. but there was a lot of cosplayers i saw! oh and here's the Loot Haul. a few doujin, a clear file, stickers, microfiber cloth and a keychain. im surprised at how little i got, i think i shouldve gone a bit crazier with it

the one with Tao Blu and oonie in the top left (by sachikazerick) I came across by chance and bought because it was cute, featured splatband characters, and also because it all in some familiar inkling language (the last point of which i told the artist as i was buying) when i finally got home and saw the back credits...

SMALL FUCKIN WORLD LOL (i tweeted at the artist afterwards to let him know i came by the table and to thank him for using me and my friend's inkling language fonts!) though truly, i think ardnin deserved the credit more rather than me since he made most of those fonts! ah well, still cool to see more and more fan works using deciphered inkling language. top middle book is a story with some salmonid characters that i havent read yet but im looking forward to it, the art is lovely. top right one was the first thing i bought. the artist is rk_splaworks, whose art i love, and we've been mutuals for a few years and have talked a bit here and there! i was so fucking nervous to meet them in person since my japanese sucks LMAO but they were happy to meet me too and we got a selfie together yippy <3 also havent read their doujin Yet since ill have to rub all my brain cells together and huddle over the dictionary, but i want their oc lore

he’s pretty old fashioned

pulling out chairs, opening doors, fancy dinner dates, giving roses and expensive jewelry

lots of “my love”, “darling” and “my dear”

he hasn’t experienced a lot of casual love, where you just stay at home and just watch a movie or something like that

it kinda hurts his pride, because it feels like he’s not doing enough to spoil his partner

however, with time he’ll get used to it and actually start to enjoy it

not big on PDA other than an arm around the waist or maybe holding hands

maybe also a kiss or two, just to flex on his brothers a bit xP

MAMMON:

he pretends that he’s too cool for romantic stuff

literally everyone can see through that lie

he’s not big on dates where people can see him

because he’d be too embarrassed about being vulnerable (like expressing his emotions) in front of others

if he’s alone with his partner though…

romance is nice, but not something he necessarily needs or craves

dinner dates is obviously something he loves

but honestly he could go to freaking mcdonald’s and he would still think it’s the most romantic shit ever

he likes the cute but lowkey kind of love

kind of like middle school love

gives food or snacks as gifts

gets super happy if his partner does the same for him

if his partner gets cramps or something like that, he’ll go buy literally anything for them

likes to help people out, especially his partner

he always adds “i love you” when you guys say goodbye to do your own thing

BELPHEGOR:

thinks it’s very cliché and not very fond of it

he doesn’t wanna have to take his partner out on dates to different places very often just to keep them happy

or constantly give gifts

if he’s gonna give you something, it needs to have some deeper meaning to it or be something useful (like a pillow or blanket)

he prefers to stay at home and do something or nothing with his partner

something away from other people

like sleeping together (and I mean actually sleeping), watching a movie, maybe have a picnic or go for a walk

prolly likes taking pics of you while you’re sleeping or when you guys are cuddling

I know you’re already super busy and booked but if you can, Munseong Kim/Ji Yeonwoo fluff and headcanons would be cool. There is little to none on them, please pace yourself I don’t want you to feel overwhelmed.

Hmmm. Let's do... texting habits (ish). And sorry I included my cuties Wangguk and Taehoon too 😊

HTF texting habits hc: Munseong, Yeonwoo, Wangguk, Taehoon

Munseong is a pretty cool and reserved guy, and that shows with his texting habits

He keeps it short and to the point, not a lot of emojis and everything comes across a little deadpan with his replies.

However, he is extremely fast respond back to you and usually within the minute... even if it doesn't warrant a response he'll at least send back a 😄 Sweet boy doesn't want to leave you hanging!

And if he's late to text back (by his standards), he'll always apologise even though you've explained a million times it's fine and you know he's doing his own thing.

Don't expect any memes, or him to react with anything apart from confusion. But you can always expect a good morning or good night.

Whenever he's feeling a bit down, he will read over your old messages and imagine your smile and your face lighting up on the other side.

...Or just call you to hear your voice.

Yeonwoo always makes time for texting you even with his hectic study schedule.

Thinks of it as a little treat, something to look forward to after frying his brain for the last couple hours.

He's always a bit contrite for his late replies too but it doesn't deter you with your double, triple, quadruple+ texting. It brightens his day seeing your name pop up on his phone, even if there are 10+ messages waiting.

Once his study schedule chills out and he makes more time for Kyokushin, he also makes more time for you!

Anything that pops into his head that he thinks you'll like, or that he thinks of saying, he'll just come right out with it.

More often than not it's a cute cat/dog meme or silly fluffy pics.

Occasionally it'll be blurred selfies of him during training. Just a lil hi and a way to say he's thinking of you.

Ah, another pretty reserved one.

Wangguk uses emojis more than you would expect, and is pretty cute with them to be honest. Adds them to provide a bit more context and depth with his responses because he knows how dry he can sound 🥺

Keeps his messages pretty short unless there's something that he is passionate about then he'll just ramble and send a full on essay. Punctuated with another follow up message to say sorry. It's pretty goddamn cute tbh.

Sends you a LOT of pictures. Innocent ones that is. Pictures tell a thousand words and he loves his photography.

Pics to say good morning, good night, thinking of you, thought you would like this. Usually Wangguk isn't in them, which makes any selfies even more special.

Also loves when you respond back in kind, sending him snaps of your day and just you.

Surprisingly, or perhaps not, is extremely clued up with memes or anything slightly unhinged thanks to Gyeoul and her sense of humour. Will send on any to you that makes him chuckle.

Listen if Taehoon wants your attention, he'll let you know. That includes messages and calls at 4am just to fuck with you. Especially when he hears your exasperated sigh and groggy voice. Or even an angry reply to "GO TF TO SLEEP!!" It will never not be funny to him. Maybe that's on you for continuing to respond and pick up all the time.

Cute good morning, good night texts? No chance.

Although he is very good at letting you know where he is, what he's up to. And expects similar from you. It's not that he doesn't trust you, he just wants to know you're safe. A hangover from Dowoon.

And this bastard is also pretty leisurely with his responses. You can be having a full on conversation, responses back within the minute then he leaves you on read for hours.

However, if you do the same then expect a call "why the fuck aren't you answering me." If you miss that, then expect an annoyed Taehoon on your doorstep.

Again, another hangover from Dowoon. His mind just goes to the worst case scenarios.
