I saw someone on a discord server ship Ochaco and Bakugou, right? Well, I was talking about how BKDK might become canon. And she immediately started yelling at me of how Bakugou is toxic to Deku and is a horrible person. I told them “but you ship bakugou with Uraraka. If bakugou is toxic, why ship him with her?”

“Because he respects her strength.”

“Bakugou respects Deku’s strength after the apology.”

it is true that love lasts for a life time for those who really wants to believe in it, for those who hang on on some love they really think they deserve. no matter how hard you try to forget, hate, and resent the one you love, it will never be truly gone. why? because deep down, they believe it will heal them in some way they cannot understand. even if love disapponts them, they will be the person that loves the other person the most. they give the best love and they will never get tired of it. they think love exists to fill the void and they try so hard to receive the same amount of love. does it really matter for them if they do not get the same amount of love? no, they still give more love because love does not have an expiration date.

Sometimes it feels like I am not really present. Not physically but more mentally, my body might be somewhere but then I find myself disassociating, my mind mentally not present. Like my awareness is hiding somewhere away from me, fast asleep. I get these moments, right? Where I feel the vivid intensity of every waking moment, where I have this clarity and suddenly everything makes sense and the world has come alive around me and it is like everything seems like it is full of color and vivid awareness.

Then most days I find myself barely skating by. Just trying to make it through another day, barely feeling enough of anything. Days where I have trouble with my feelings, days where I find it extremely hard to even show a speck of emotion!

Days where it feels like I'm losing time. Times where my mind feels disjointed from the rest of my body, where my thoughts feels fuzzy like they're floating on a cloud somewhere, going by so fast it's hard for me to catch hold of them. Days where it feels like I'm watching the world somewhere between half-asleep and barely awake state.

These contradicting opposites live inside me and somedays it is difficult to distinguish between the two...

Have you ever felt like that? It's crazy honestly, I find myself questioning my insanity most days, like am I really truly alive or am I just existing in a story that someone else wrote about me.

I think one of the biggest tragedies of Laios & Falin and their relationship is how much his actions impact her life. But like. Specifically how much they WOULDN’T impact her life as much if they weren’t both stuck in such a shitty abusive situation.

This part of the Falin-tries-makeup daydream hour comic is what got me thinking about it again because truly it just... it seems like such a like an offhand comment that I'm sure Laios didn't mean to be cruel or anything. That's just like. A little kid not thinking about what they are saying. ESPECIALLY when the kid in question is Laios.

But man they depended on each other SO much as kids. Too much. It really feels like they didn't have any other source of positive reinforcement, or anyone else to share themselves with. So of course an offhand comment like that has a huge impact on Falin.

Or this little bit from one of the flashbacks:

This tears me apart. Do you think it tears him apart to think about? I think it does. I think Laios holds every small failure to care for Falin against himself.

And then there's the Bigger stuff. The way that him coping with his own trauma ended up impacting her.

Like his interest in monsters. Like him going to find a ghost, and accidentally revealing Falin's magic to the whole village in the process.

Like him needing to leave. And leaving her behind.

He shaped her life so much, and he carries so much guilt for it. And again, there should have been other people there to help. The same things that made Laios need to leave home are the things that made his leaving so hard on Falin. She ate alone after that. She shouldn't have had to eat alone just because Laios wasn't there.

She was 9 when he left for school, and he was 11.

Nine. And Laios feels like he failed her because he didn't stand by her through this better. As an eleven year old.

Both of these kids deserved so much better from the world.
