Jazz found billboards all over the city, although according to Tucker they were all over the country, it was an invitation for "The beast bat-tle", the winner will be crowned "Pun King" for a guy called the Rid- or something.

Danny was decided, he will be the Pun King, no one can stop him from getting the title, he is already the Ghost king but this is the kingdom he really wants.

On the other hand Dick Grayson was excited cause for the first time ¡undercover work was exciting!

The Riddler organized a pun battle, it was an open invitation for all the villains (and pun enjoyers), although Batman was sure no one "good" will show up, ¿what idiot will come to a competition organized by the Riddler?

it was impossible that you didn't know about him, you had to live in a town in the middle of nowhere.

Jason was regretting offering help, he wanted to punch (or shoot) villains no the knowledge that THERE ARE TWO OF THEM (although the Twink was cute, Dick agreed)

Damian's birthday party

I have this thought in my mind where Damian asks for a small birthday party, he informs Alfred about the guests and informed his siblings where and when the party will occur, "I don't want nothing too big, it's just a few people who will show up anyway"

His siblings feel a little bad for it because they think Damian doesn't have friends besides Jon (they're wrong), then they decide to invite other young heroes to the party by themselves

on the appointed day both young justice and the titans show up to celebrate the younger robin's birthday because "he is the Dick/Tim youngest brother, he doesn't know how to make friends"

only to discover a group of kids partying with Damian. They are: Colin Wilkes, Maps Mizoguchi, Maya Ducard (Nobody), Suren Darga, Nika (Flatline), Jon Kent, Mara Al Ghul (she is his cousin, he invited her because of it - they have a non-aggression agreement), Carrie Kelley and plus Connor Hawke, Roy Harper and Lian Harper

The most awkward moment possible because in Damian small party has now people literally raised by assassins, heroes and civilians and now more heroes show up

I return to the AVPxDC crossover. This Au. This one right here, because I have Thoughts. Specifically about the entire batfam.

Now the batfam is actually kind of large if you include those like Alfred and Kate. Which one should very much always include Alfred as family, that's Bruce's second dad.

But anyway, batfam. Most have been discussed already, including Kate pretty much pulling an Uno Reverse card on the yautja and having her own trophy room of all the hunters and their tech. Along with the robot dogs (canon in batman ayy) just even larger.

And it's been discussed about Jason becoming a big beefy crusher after his dip in the Lazarus Pit, and his version of Pit Rage pretty much him being overwhelmed by past memories from past xenos along his line when they're usually blurred.

It's even been discussed of Damian being a lil science-experiment child like canon just with a hint of bonus confusing instincts not helping his entire situation while in the League.

Not even touching the poetic mirroring between Bruce and Clark and their continued friendship.

But you know who I want to talk about? Terry and Matt Mcginnis, the boys from Batman Beyond. Those boys, the lil buddies usually forgotten about. They were talked about for like, two sentences and I am rotating this world's version of them. Honestly I kind of like the idea of them being like the only two eggs that Bruce had. Or at least the two that hatched, because who knows what is even able to work with how much alteration their biology has had, even compared to other xenos.

Ohhhs

- He keeps every drawing/card they’ve ever given him and goes to look at them when he misses them

- He keeps a drawer full of little chocolates (or just favorite snacks in general) in his room to give them when they come in his room after a nightmare

- He does that thing where he passes a room multiple time before going in a saying something like ‘oh Tim I didn’t know you where at the manor today, any new going on in your life’ as if he didn’t just walk around the whole manor checking every room to see where he was at

- He is very much a ‘do as I say not as I do’ parent

- He does that parent thing where he keeps scrolling thru your photos and all of the batkids have gotten in trouble bc of it

- He have a different thing for each of them (dick has hair ruffles, jason has those soild shoulder pats (yk like when your dad or something gives you a sidehug and pats your shoulder soothingly or is that just me), tim get forehead kisses and etc bc i cant think of anything else)

- Yk that hc that they have all forgotten they’re adopted at some point and asked about health issues and they go down the whole wayne family tree before they realize, yea the opposite happens with damian where he in a sleep deprived state asks an equally sleeped deprived bruce about health issues and they both think ‘wait who are the birth parents’

- He always complains about how he misses them but they don’t call but when they do call he goes all ‘why are you calling, is it important’

Always loves those fics or headcanons where the Justice League just has no clue about the existence of the Batfamily. And usually it's because Bruce wanted to maintain his image of being all mysterious or because he wants to protect his family or something.

But I think it's infinitely better if he just assumes they know. Like, Dick has been around since he was like 10, and he's into his 30's now, Bruce assumes that he had to come up in conversation at some point.

Besides, as secretive as they are, the news in Gotham has to pick up on and connect the family together, at least vaguely, so surely the rest of the league has taken note of that. Signal fights crime in broad daylight, for christ's sake.

Except, in general, they just don't. Sure, Superman and Wonder Woman maybe know, but Flash? Green Arrow? No.

Then one day they need extra hands on a mission, so a handful of the various bats and birds are called in, cue bafflement. On both sides.

Because Bruce assumes that he doesn't need to explain himself. Everyone else assumes he's being secretive on purpose.

Barry: Why did you never tell us you have an entire family/small vigilante army hiding in Gotham?

Bruce: My children are literally friends with the rest your family.

it's a fun hc of mine that during dick's robin days, he went through the "omg i wish i had a cool secret language so i can have secret conversations with my friends" phase all kids go through. but one of his closest friends at the time also happened to be the batman, a guy with possibly the most bizarrely diverse arsenal of skills in the world. bruce sees the merit in the entire idea of a coded language to communicate rudimentary information when they can hear but not see each other. so why not make a code built on bird vocalizations? it's pretty much incomprehensible to anyone without a trained ear or comprehensive knowledge of birding and impossible to even passably mimic without proper training, so while the chances of interception are high, the chances of someone understanding it enough to interrupt during the middle of a bird-convo and feed false information are not.

it also, batman and robin come to realize, feed into the "holy fuck our vigilantes are cryptids" idea. bird sounds that come from seemingly no determinable location (ventriloquism) come to mean batman and robin are nearby. to the goons of gotham, bird song becomes inextricably connected to getting your ass kicked by the dynamic duo. the real reason why criminals don't operate during the day is because they get skittish and jumpy about if the sounds of birds chirping are real birds or some masked vigilantes lying in wait to rock your shit, and it's just easier to commit crimes during the night when all the birds are asleep so you know for sure.

ornithologists have boards on their bedrooms dedicated to the bird-bats of gotham. they've written dissertations.

the bird language becomes a bit of a batfamily bonding connection. teaching each other how to do different clicks and whistles, making up slang so bruce and barbara can't complain of clogging up comms with non-mission relevant talk, searching up birds to associate them with different people, psychologically terrorizing the criminal populace of gotham by chirping at them...

how the bird code works is that there's a bird assigned to each one of gotham's major heavy hitter criminals and vigilantes, and a few assigned to heroes out of the city (by which i mean the ones the bats associate with often enough to have a sign to address by). the only birds i've got so far are the robin (for robin. self-explanatory) and the glistening-green tanager (for the joker). i only have one for the joker bc i wanted to reference this hc in one of my fics and so searched up green birds to find the most eye-searingly annoying-to-look-at green bird i could find, and the glistening-green tanager was the closest one to fit the bill.

Something I will never get enough of is Danny killing the Joker. However, something I want to see more of, is Danny killing the Joker for Ellie.

Like, Jason and Danny are neighbors and they’ve been friends for a little while. Jason knows Danny has the 20 something year old mechanic with a six-year-old daughter who is an absolute gremlin. He really likes them both, and he might have a little crush on his neighbor.

Then when they are out at the park or something, the Joker attacks. The joker decides to grab a hostage and who does he grab, but this six year old girl who only seems to have one person who knows her, a scrawny 20 something person. She has dark hair and blue eyes and only person who seems to care about her is her older brother/possible father? Perfect bait for Batman.

He wasn’t counting on Danny being able to fight god for his family. He didn’t realize that Danny will do anything to protect his family, that, in his literal core, he is sworn to protect his people, no matter the cost. the joker did not realize that Danny loves Ellie enough to not only die (again) for her, but to kill for her.

The Joker doesn’t die to Batman, or in some big battle. The Joker dies to a man no one knew because the Joker kidnapped his daughter. The joker dies, because he forgot that not everyone has the same hangups about killing that Batman does. The Joker dies because he pushed a parent too far.

Jason is there during all of this. I think he’s either there as red hood, watching through the cameras, or there is Jason. All three of these have many different pros for various forms of angst.

If Jason is there as red hood, he’s probably with some of the batfamily, and they are holding him back from killing the Joker. They’re trying to figure out how to make it so that the joker won’t kill this little girl, and Jason is going feral because that is his kid. That is the little gremlin who lives next-door, who knocks on his door and treats him like a jungle gym. That’s his kid. When he sees Danny jump at the Joker, he’s going to have a straight up panic attack and he’s gonna get the guns ready, but he doesn’t need to.

If he’s there as Jason, I think the joker would also take him hostage. Jason Wayne, the brat who would get him a lot of money. Especially if the Joker knows that this was the second Robin, because this just means he can get two killed in one swoop. And Jason is trying to protect Ellie with everything in him, cursing himself for not bringing a gun with him and praying that this time Bruce isn’t too late. And he can see the pain in Danny’s eyes and he is so scared to lose this family he has. He praised to a God he doesn’t believe in this time, history won’t repeat itself.

I feel like it would be most painful, if he’s watching through cameras. He’s probably injured or in the middle of doing something for his civilian life . Maybe he’s even out of town, but turned the camera on to look out for the joker, and had a heart attack when he saw the little girl next-door being held by the Joker. This man is trying so hard to get there, breaking every traffic law, praying that he won’t be too late that this won’t be the same as his death. His trauma is excruciating, because this feels like when he was waiting for Bruce and Bruce not getting there until it was too late.

No matter which of these scenarios, he needs to see Danny snap and kill the joker. Maybe, in the camera scenario, it’s just this he arrives that he sees it. Either way, he needs to see the moment, the Joker dies at the head of a single father, and the parallel of Bruce and him and Danny and Ellie need to be very apparent. Because this time the dad wasn’t afraid to kill.

This is the moment I feel, Jason would fully acknowledge that he would do anything for these people. That these two neighbors of his have become his family. The moment he sees the two of them holding each other, and the jokers body at their feet, I guarantee you this man is fighting tooth and nail not to go over his red hood exposed them. if he’s Jason, he can run into hug them no problem, but if he’s red hood, he’s not going to be able to do that.

This man will fight with Batman if he even that should get in trouble for killing the Joker. He will threaten to never ever speak to Bruce ever again, will be ready to bribe the police into letting Danny go, we will race every camera footage out there of the event, will do anything for this family.

Later that day, he won’t have nightmares of the Joker for the first time in a while. He will be able to look at his family and rest easy, knowing that there’s no way that Joker can take them from him.

Danny as a Historical Badass

So, I'm sure you have all heard at least one story about those Badasses in History, the ones who are basically Legends at this point, right?

Like Simo Hayha, the White Death. The legendary Finish Sniper who managed to get 505 Confirmed Kills in less than 100 days, and an additional 200 kills with a Sub Machine Gun.

Or Mad Jack Churchill, the Craziest Commando. The guy who went to War with a Bow and a Broadsword, inflicting the last Archery Fatality in British Military History. He and his single partner also managed to raid a Village and capture 44 unsuspecting Soliders.

I want Danny to be seen in history in the same way they were.

If we go with the AU where the events of the Show happened in the Early 1900's, Danny would reach Eligibility just in time for both World Wars.

I want one of the Batfamily Members to run across a Video online of "Roman Helmet Guy" on Tiktok talking about Danny with that Badass Music in the Background.

Like, Danny is known as the Insane Solider of WW1/WW2. The guy who somehow managed to capture entire Platoons singlehandedly. The Guy who raided Enemy Camps in the Dead of night and managed to capture High Ranking Commanders on his own. The Guy that survives life threatening wounds like it's nothing MULTIPLE TIMES, and is somwhow back on the battlefield within the hour.

Some people speculate that he was an early Metahuman, but nobody can confirm because he hasn't been seen in decades. Some people.think he must be dead by now.

And then the Batfam member does a double take because, That's Old Man Danny.

Thats the old guy who runs their favorite Cafe. He must be well over 100 years old by now, but he looks like he's in his early 70's.

And doesn't Alfred frequent that Cafe?

Yes, he does. Alfred and Danny are old War Buddies.

Idk where this is going, I feel braindead right now.

I just wanted Danny to be seen as a Historical Legend because I was binging 'Roman Helmet Guy's videos and thought of this.

Wait, wasn't Diana in WW1? Like, in the movie at least she fought in WW1, so what if she met Danny during that time? What if she wasn't the only one to rush into No-Mans Land during that action scene in the Movie?

Diana shows up in Gotham and just says, "Oh no need to worry, I'm just visiting an old Friend."

Also, I recommend watching videos on Simo Hayha, he is such a badass.
