Lan Xichen • 蓝曦臣
Lan Xichen is very perceptive to those he keeps in his inner circle, as he always wants to treat the ones he cares about the best. For his brother, the disciples, and for you: he really does keep one eye open on everything, for anything.
However you meet him doesn't affect him as he does not discrimination against any person for their status, body, or quirks. If you hadn't passed so well back then, he notes it, but still treats you like any another man. If you have passed for a long time, he doesn't clue into anything except you're a very attractive man. He's very open about how he sees you too!
As your relationship grows and your lives intertwine more on their own during the setting peace (rising storms), you finally come out to him while you both enjoy your favorite drinks in the Gusu dining hall. It's not the most private place, but everyone can tell you both are having a deep discussion by how concentrated you both were, and gave you a respectable space to talk.
Lan Xichen listens intently and takes a sip of his tea, and can only smile back at you as he begins to speak. "I am glad you've opened up to me about this. Thank you for trusting me."
Nothing really changes between you two (unless you bind, then he might become more doting) and Lan Xichen does enjoy caring for you personally after you start going out officially. If he just happens to kiss you first because he's just so happy, can you blame him?
Jiang Cheng • 江澄
He had no way to know or suspect anything unless you're the type to strip at random, and guessing from how he had to take a minute to himself later: he isn't perceptive or knows exactly what to look for here to begin with.
Jiang Cheng is very paranoid and you can tell it's from the recent wave of demonic cultivators villagers he had on his hands, and you can tell he's still thinking about them while you both relax in his home. He was doing reports and had stains of ink on the side of his hands, but gave you his time anyways.
He had always made time for you in the past and the both of you were a unit to not mess with while doing paperwork. He was a rock to proper yourself on, but even Jin Ling knows that you're a man sturdy enough to take Jiang Cheng's issues on your shoulders. Neither of you two dragged each other down, you've only grown as far as you know and you hope it stays that way.
When you tell him, he was leaning on your shoulder while you were behind his desk, and it just felt right to tell him here. "... I couldn't tell, to be honest. Everyone is built differently with different quirks, and thank for telling me."
Something changes when you get into the heat of action, but Jiang Cheng doesn't mention anything about your person at all. You suspect the blushing and the new hand holding afterwards might mean you made him a bit more open.
Jin Guangyao • 金光瑶
Paranoia runs under his skin like fire after he had rid himself of his son and ex-fiance as his own form of mercy, the horrors he thinks about. But something about talking to you and having a grounded setting brings him back from his spiral.
His life is not easy to let other people in to listen for, and he's very guarded of what he doesn't want others to know. Lan Xichen, an important person to him, doesn't know what happened at the Nie manor. His ex-fiance never knew his secrets outside of what a married man might have to share. He'll also take the hit to his name, especially with a divorce he won't even discuss with officials. But you seem to loosen his lips with how you take to him, almost like this was a prize for all the hardships he endured...
He has the largest power of the Venerated Triad and has many forms of official work to handle in-person. But you're a trusted individual and you've long been given permissions to be alone with him as you please. If he just so happened to treat his favorite man to a good lunch in a secluded area of the Lanling surrounding city, oh well.
Hearing what you have to say is the least shocking thing he's had to process in a long time. "You are still my favorite person, my dearest. This changes nothing, I assure you. Unless..." He flirts.
He's never going to fully be open until the end, but you'll eventually peel back his skin to see his skeletons. For now, he simply wants to kiss his boyfriend and continue to rebuild all that has crumbled.

jiang cheng most likely has a thing for hair pulling. buries his fingers in your hair and tugs your head back, telling you that he wants to hear all of your moans for him. sometimes his grip tightens just so that he can hear you whimper.

many would call you a brazen youth, greeting all with a curt, and knowing tone while watching the ones gathered with the eyes of a predator. calm, sure, and collected while standing at an angle steps below the Sandu Shengshou, with both a scroll and book propped in the crook of your arm.
leading the conversation, and becoming silent only when a response is given or if the Sandu Shengshou himself speaks, or asks a question or for a response that went unanswered by those present in the meeting.
whispers circle around the room, you stand back straight, still at an angle with your eyes closed almost as if you're a paper doll waiting to be given life once more with an order.
neither you nor jiang cheng is fond of meetings where voices whisper plans or judgment without hiding it.
the quiet sound of jiang cheng slowly fiddling with zidian does not go unnoticed by you-- with a slight turn of your head and the opening of your eyes, you offer him a soft smile before returning to your previous state.
the meeting is dragged out and then adjourned for the day. leaving you with a bitter taste in your mouth while you bowed to the ones leaving. keeping your face neutral, and your eyes closed while you listened to what was being said.
"useless assistant"
"lacks a golden core, but so brazen."
"their position in this court must have been obtained through scheming alone."
"they should present their self in a more pleasant way than their master."
the comments go on, focusing on you-- knowing that if they said anything about jiang cheng then you would personally have a word with them later. in a less than friendly way.
the whispers are not wrong. you are a simple person. a normal person. a non-cultivator. on paper, you're jiang cheng's assistant and his closest ally.
other than that you are nothing more, but if you are able to continue being a brazen youth-- then you would like to consider yourself a friend to the sect leader of the jiang yunmeng sect, wielder of zidian, and a soft-hearted fool for those he loves.
"have you grown tired of snapping at any insult that is thrown?" jiang cheng's voice echoes in the empty room. you smile in response to his words.
"the insults were all directed at this one, if anywhere directed at you then this one would have pulled them to the side later-- but isn't it a blessing i remained silent? for if this one spoke then you would receive nothing, but complaints about this one's lack of respect."
jiang cheng simply sighs, you can hear how he moves from his seat, the sound of his footsteps echoing on the polished wooden floors before standing next to you. the sound of him fiddling with zidian (an unconscious habit of his when either lost in thought or sorting his emotions) you smile, reaching out to gently place your hand on his own.
"bah, we will reach an agreement before sundown tomorrow, come let us be there to greet jin ling when he arrives." jiang cheng spits out before he starts walking toward the docks. others would have only noticed his tone of voice and not the small skip in his step. happy to be out of the room, and happy at the arrival of his nephew. one of jiang cheng's many endearing traits that even he himself does not notice.
jin ling is welcomed back to yunmeng after a three-month stay at the golden carp tower to study the clan's history and their people.
he's doing well from the letters sent by both jin ling himself and his teachers. a source of pride and happiness for jiang cheng to know his nephew is doing well.
you stand a bit away, off to the side while uncle and nephew greet one another.
jiang cheng leans down to pat fairy on her head, praising her for doing well in watching out for jin lang while the young man jogs over to where you are. a smile on his face and your name is spoken aloud.
"welcome home." you smile and bow an action that earns one of jin lang's famous pouts before you stand straight once more. reaching out to pat jin lang's head.
you and fairy follow two steps behind jiang cheng and jin ling enjoying their conversation.
dinner is quiet, it's only when you walk around the table gathering dishes does jin ling speak.
"uncle, when are they going to join our family?" jin ling's words are that of an eight-year-old asking bout the equivalent of the weather. a valid question in his mind, but one that causes the adults in the room to react.
you almost drop the dishes, and jiang cheng coughs out some of his drink.
"y-young sir. a-are you asking when this one is going to join your family?" to your question, jin lang nods his head you can only sigh before speaking once more, "and why does the young sir... wish for this one to join your family?"
"because you're always here! you watch out for uncle, little fairy, and me-- we like you!" jin lang responds smiling.
"young sir... that is very kind of you to say, and tell me, but... this one is useless i offer no boon for a joining--" your words are cut short when jin lang looks at you, eyes wide and his teeth biting at his lip.
"do you not like us? do you hate us?"
"no young sir, this one does not hate or dislike either of you."
"then why?"
"this one has nothing to offer, except their life to service and nothing else." your response isn't what jin lang wanted to hear, standing up you can see that he's trying very hard not to cry before shouting and leaving with little fairy following behind him.
"fine! if you don't like us then leave! me and uncle, we will be fine on our own!"
the silence that hangs in the room is deafening, his words ringing in your ears. you gather the remaining dishes, rushing to avoid hearing jiang cheng's voice you excuse yourself.
you set about writing an apology letter to jiang cheng for not escorting him back to his chambers, and for jin lang's words. you write that you would accept whatever punishment for not properly doing your job and ensuring his safety.
you spend time in the yunmeg night market, finding an apology gift that would make jin lang happy-- it wouldn't due for him to be unhappy on his first night back.
you wait for punishment from jiang cheng, but one is never announced.

speak to my heart, mdzs character hcs
the love languages that each of these characters have
**✿❀ ❀✿**
Lan Wangji
acts of service
Lan Wangji does the most for the people that he loves
and well Lan Wangji was always in service
as the leader of his sect, one of the prime, most important cultivators of the generation
Lan Wangji was always providing protection service to everyone
it was his duty to help after all
but when it came to you
small things that he did
like preparing a cool bowl of water for you to wash your face after you come back to the Jingshi, from teaching lessons
to picking out some clothes that he thought would look nice for you and laying them out before hand,
or just brushing your hair when your arms were too heavy and hand too tired from grading all day
these small, tiny acts compared to his big duties
they mean the world to you, because he always knows just what you need
and in all that Lan Wangji does to help you,
he feels elated to be able to shower this kind of affection on the one that he loves
**✿❀ ❀✿**
Wei Wuxian
physical touch
once he is able to get his hands on you,
you will never be able to leave this man’s arms, for sure
a snuggle bug, i feel like that is quite obvious
on the street, you don’t worry about being lost,
not when he has a tendency to always hold hands,
or wrap an arm around your shoulders
there’s always some part of you always touching somehow
within the grounds of Lotus Pier, he’s able to be a bit more touchy with you
whether that be picking you up randomly to steal you away from your duties (you’re supposed to managing the library for your sect, but i guess not now)
to hugging you from behind when you least expect it,
with this he likes to lay his head right on your shoulder, so that he can place a nice big kiss on your cheek
you somehow, always end up in Wei Wuxian’s arms
and honestly,
when you feel his heart beat steady behind yours and the warmth of his love
you wouldn’t want to be far from him, anyhow
**✿❀ ❀✿**
Lan Xichen
words of affirmation
Xichen always just knows exactly what to say.
he has the calm words in your times of worries,
the confident compliments right before your big tournaments
and the loving words that make your knees feel like jelly
Lan Xichen has a way with his words,
that always know how to correlate so well to what your heart needs to hear
every time you hear something from his mouth, it isn’t too hard to swoon
Lan Xichen is also not shy with the types of compliments that he gives you,
he’s a gentleman but well, sometimes his expressions could be very interesting, ahah
anyhow, no matter what Lan Xichen’s mouth drives you crazy in a plethora of ways
and his loving voice that whisper into your ear after a long night together
hold far from sweet nothings
each word
every word
always seems to make your heart skip a beat
**✿❀ ❀✿**
Jiang Cheng
quality time
Jiang Cheng would definitely make time for the people that he loves, or wants to get to know better
because time is an important asset for him
as a sect leader and with all of his jobs and titles
time was always of the essence
but when it came to you,
whether that be waiting,
longing, wanting
anything at all
Jiang Cheng has all the time in the world for you
and if he didn’t he’d make time anyways
because every moment that you both are able to spend with one another
is one that lasts both simultaneously short and long
just enough to remember in between reading his scrolls,
but not long enough for him to go a few hours without seeing your face
if Jiang Cheng could spend eternity sitting on the docks with you, catching lotus pods that you peel for him
he would
and when summer comes to Lotus Pier,
Jiang Cheng makes sure, that he does

Tumblr media
Light filtered through your lashes, waking you up from your slumber. Was it a slumber? Did you fall asleep? But you were-
With a start, you sat up from the ground. Looking around, you found yourself in an unfamiliar place, everything so bright and shiny. The pavement seemed to be of something sturdy and expensive, perhaps marble? Some people were passing by, their eyes only flashing you a side glance before they continued their journey to wherever they were heading. Most of them wore expensive fabric, some of them holding a fan, some of them wearing a sword on their side.
Palming your torso over, you found no arrows embedded into your body. No trace of injuries or blood. Were you in-
“Ah, you arrived!” a familiar voice said. You blinked a few times before you noticed the pale, slender fingers extended toward you. One of the fingers had a red string attached to it that led to someone standing to the side.
Grabbing the hand, you let the Heaven official pull you to your feet. Then you saw him fully after your eyes adjusted to the light. Xie Lian was standing there in lavish robes, golden embroidery was sewn into the white fabric of his hanfu. He smiled at you kindly as you took everything in. Then, you furrowed your eyebrows.
“I remember you quite differently, your majesty.” you raised your eyebrows. Xie Lian chuckled. His hanfu was a clear sign of being someone of importance. You sensed that he was quite different from before.
“Don’t call me that, haha. Just call me Xie Lian.” he shook his head and motioned for you to follow him. “You must be confused, Ran’En.”
“We are in Heaven I suppose? Other than that, I am not sure what is going on.” you looked around.
The buildings all around looked imposing, each decorated with gold and silver, shining like the whole treasury in the imperial palace. Each building looked different, you could make out many of them built in a style that was popular in a different era. People greeted Xie Lian, bowing as you two passed them. He explained where you could find anything you needed or how you could connect to the Communication array. You tried to focus on what he was saying but you kept wondering what was happening down in the mortal realm.
What was Jiang Cheng doing now? How much time has passed since you died? Did he get out alive? Was he living a happy life with someone else? Did he find a doting wife? He was the only thing circling in your mind as you walked silently. Could you go back and take a peak at him? Could you see him again? You would want to see him even if just for a short period of time. That would be enough for you to make sure he was well. That would calm your heart.
“You may leave the Heavens if you wish to.” Xie Lian said suddenly.
He stopped in front of a building and opened its doors. The building was similar to the imperial palace but was smaller and less lavish. It felt like the building was accustomed to your personality and personal likes. Inside, you saw a large hall from where several doors led to other rooms.
“This is your palace and it awaits you whenever you come back to the Heavens.”
Turning around, you faced Xie Lian with a determined expression.
“If I leave… I won’t come back until A-Cheng ascends.” you replied.
“And if he won’t?” the one in red robes spoke up suddenly. The red string attached to Xie Lian’s finger was leading to him. His posture was at ease as he looked you over. The darkness coming from him was so different from the light of Xie Lian, however, there was no animosity in his words. You smiled at him and shook your head.
“Then I won’t come back either. I will stay by his grave forever.”
The two of them shared a glance, the affection passing through their handsome features as they looked at each other made you sure they understood your point of view.
Jiang Cheng’s PoV.
A few months have passed since the sect leader left the capital city. The imperial soldiers never appeared at his doorstep like he expected. Yunmeng was left alone, like he never stepped foot into the palace and never accused a royal family member of embezzling money. News spread like wildfire and reached Yunmeng. Rumors said that Zhu LiQin was killed by his younger brother, the Fourth Prince. The emperor, Zhu MingKai went into seclusion in his grief because he not only lost two granddaughter and a son, his whole belief was turned upside down. His disappointment in his son was in truth disappointment in himself. He failed to raise his children well.
Jiang Wanyin felt regret partially, because he felt responsible for destroying the old emperor’s world, but in the long run, he helped Ran’En save the kingdom from a tyrant. He wanted to bury her properly in Yunmeng but as he carried her on his back, she disappeared when the sun rose above the horizon. Wei Ying and Lan Wangji saw her form just disappearing in a bright light, leaving no trace of her behind. Jiang Cheng never thought he would witness someone’s ascension and it was nothing like he expected. For a long time, he wished she would be buried in Yunmeng rather than becoming nothing.
Spring soon arrived, flowers were blossoming, filling the gardens with lively colors and pleasant fragrance. The sect leader planted a magnolia tree somewhere deep in the gardens, secluded from prying eyes. That place was only his.
Or at least he thought it was only his. Wei Wuxian sat under the magnolia tree, leaning against the trunk, sipping on some wine. His brother perked up when he spotted the sect leader, his smile splitting his face.
“Good morning, Jiang Cheng!”
“What are you doing here?” Wanyin raised an eyebrow at him.
“Can’t I be here? You planted this tree for her memory, didn’t you?” Wei Ying shrugged, then continued. “Come, sit with me.”
Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes but sat down next to him. They sat in silence for a while, looking at the sky, thinking about everything and nothing. Leaving the capital city felt like an eternity ago. Everyone fell back into a routine, life went on. Except, Jiang Cheng’s heart never forgot her highness. He missed her soft touch, her gentle kiss and her silky voice murmuring sweet nothings into his ear.
That night haunted him, the memory filling his dreams, making his heart hope that one day, she would return. Suddenly, something fell into his lap with a dull thud. He thought it was a branch at first before he looked down and saw a dark green snake. His heart started pounding in his chest as his mind was filled with the memory of her sneaking into his room and curling around his arm. Tears gathered in his eyes as he stared down at the snake then shook his head and shook the animal off of his lap. He quickly stomped out of the garden, never looking back.
Wei Wuxian called out to him but it was in vain, he no longer heard his words.
Later ~
By the time Jiang Cheng finished with all his paperwork, it was around midnight. All the lights were out in Lotus Pier, only the full moon showed the path to those who were still roaming the world. Wanyin didn’t feel like sleeping yet, his eyes were tired but his mind was still filled with thoughts. Going out to the pier, he looked over the water.
Light breeze picked up some strands of his dark hair. It was so quiet and tranquil, so relaxing. Looking down into the dark water, he stared at his reflection. His face looked worn and tired, eyebrows set in a deep frown and lips curled downwards. He remembered to have less wrinkles of worry on his face. He remembered a time he stood there, watching Ran’En sitting in that boat with her mischievous smirk and her eyes crinkled in mirth as she looked him over. Those times were so bright, filling his heart with happiness even if he didn’t know it was because of her presence. His heart clenched in pain as he thought of her. He wished he could see her just one last time, smiling at him warmly.
Suddenly, her highness’ smiling face appeared next to his in the water’s reflection. He blinked a few times, his heart heavy with longing and sadness as he took in her beautiful features. It was just like in his memories.
“I miss you so much…” he whispered quietly.
“You don’t have to.” she said joyously. “I am here, A-Cheng.”
His eyes widened and he shook his head with a light chuckle. Was he so tired that he was hallucinating?
“How could you be here? No… you no longer belong in this world.”
“Aiya! I said I am here then I am here!” Ran’En grabbed his arm and pushed him so he was facing her on his right side. There she was, in all her glory, dressed in white robes, smiling happily back at him.
“You- How- What-?”
“I ascended but I left the Heavens.” she shrugged. “As long as you are here, my place is here.”
Grabbing her face in his hands, he pulled her close, pressing his lips against hers. Tears rolled down his cheeks in happiness, his heart picking up its pace. He felt alive again. His blood was running in his veins all over again, filling him with life. Ran’En chuckled at his eagerness as she kissed him back, then gently pulled away to look at him. Her eyes shined with love and affection as she took in every inch of his face.
“Hǎojiǔ bùjiàn*.” she greeted him quietly, a shy smile playing on her lips.
End ~

MDZS Headcannon - Reader who can talk to animals
This is my first time doing a head cannon so I’m not sure if I did this right. Sorry this is very short.
3 Zuns, Juniors, and Seniors version
Wèi Wúxiàn:
Tumblr media
GIF from: https://tenor.com/view/wei-wuxian-bunny-snuzzle-gif-16010479
Wèi Wúxiàn would think you are very talented and would always ask you what the bunnies are saying and thinking. When he first met you, he thinks you are very different from other cultivators he met in the past. Wèi Wúxiàn wouldn’t believe the rumours about you being crazy and insane, since he doesn’t judge others. When he found out you can talk to animals, he was amazed and he love that you could talk to animals. What he loves about you is that you don’t let the rumours get to you, and you still talk to animals even though people think you are mental. But what he doesn’t like, is that you do spend more time with the animals than him, and he gets a bit jealous.  When people would talk bad about you, he would try to start a fight with them but if you stop him he would listen to you.
Lán Wàngjī:
Tumblr media
GIF from:  https://ianime0.tumblr.com/post/186702651660/carole-tuesday-ep-12
When Lán Wàngjī first met you, he would think you’re another Wèi Wúxiàn. But when he got to know you better he would admire you for your knowledge of talking to animals and your cultivation skills. What he doesn’t like about you, is that you always try to sneak out and talk to your animal friends in the middle of the night, and he always have to try to cover for you so you don’t get punished. If people talk bad about you, he would just give them death glares and then they would stop talking about you. He was also shock when he found out you could talk to animals, since not a lot of cultivators have your talent.
Jiāng Chéng:
Tumblr media
Jiāng Chéng would judge you from the very start. He would believe that the rumours about you are true. But if Wèi Wúxiàn didn’t ask him to give you a chance (since your friends with Wèi Wúxiàn), he would still believe the rumours are true. When he first met you, he immediately gave you the cold shoulder, but when Wèi Wúxiàn asked him to give you a chance, he would try not to give you the cold shoulder. When he got to know you better, he realised that you weren’t that bad and that the rumours were completely false. What he loves about you, is that you don’t get scared by animals and that you have a love with dogs, unlike some people. *Cough *Cough *Wèi Wúxiàn. What he doesn’t like about you, is that you are another Wèi Wúxiàn. He thinks that you are his missing, long lost twin.  When people would talk bad about you, he would immediately give them death threats and death glares, and then people would never talk bad about you again.

Pequeño detalle.
Tumblr media

Hello, can I request the 3zun + jiang cheng reacting to reader who just disappears? Like, one day they're there and the next day they are gone without any trace or stuff like that? If you have time or want to, with the MC coming back after a long time etc? Have a nice day!^^ P/s: I love your blog very much<3
Awww! Thank youuu! Sorry this was late… I was trying to ascend my Lumine ( I main her ) anyways! Heres to your request~
Nie mingjue :
He had absolutely no idea how you just disapeared.. It was at night when he felt he was the only one in the bed. He waited for hours for you, but you never came. Eventually he announced a search party to find you. Surely you wouldn’t leave Qinghe that fast.. Right? He kept searching for 5 months, worried sick if anything happened to you. He isn’t calm, he is panicking and very easy to get angry now that your not here by his side. Other sect leaders wished him the best of luck trying to find you, others would tell him to give up and find another person who is better than you. He would thank the people who still had faith in him finding you but the ones who told him to give up had major injuries.. ( not just a broken bone ) eventually, after 2 years, he he felt something.. Or someone beside him, he saw you. After years of searching only now you decide to show up. “I’m home Mingjue..” You say while hugging him from the back. He couldn’t respond since he doesn’t know how to, should he be mad that you left? Should he be happy you came back after 2 years? He has mixed feeling about the situation but eventually, he faces you and looks into your eyes. “I missed you..” he then digs his face onto your shoulder and tears fall down his face. He wraps his arms around you while you comfort him. “I won’t leave again.” “You better not.” * sniff *
Lan Xichen :
You? Leave?.. His heart shattered. ( how dare you- wait.. I’M THE ONE WRITING THIS THOUGH..) why would you leave him? Did he do something wrong? Was it the environment you were in? ( 4,019 rules boy.. ) he kept thinking of why would you leave him. That night he never felt so alone.. Many sleepless nights, less food he ate, barely took care of himself now. He did search everywhere and he tried EVERYWHERE. Even infitrated the Jingshi to wake up Lan Wangji to help him find you. After so long, well.. 5 years… You appeared, staring at the starry sky. “Oh? A-Huan? How have you-“ words cut short, he hugged you in a tight embrace. “Why did you leave me, did you know how worried I was?” He cups your cheek with his free hand and kisses your forehead. “I’m sorry, I cannot tell you yet. But I’m back now right?” You say and both of you enjoy the comfortable silence.
Jin Guangyao :
What was the reason? He doesn’t know, did he predict it? No, is he trying to find you? Yes of course, but its a secret search party. He can’t have the whole cultivation world looking down on him. Was he a bad significant other? He doesn’t know, did you find someone else?.. He will dismantle them. Thankfully only took a year for you to come back. Who knows what he might’ve done if it was another week. He was starting to think you left without a trace because of his backround and because he wasn’t good enough. “A-Yao..” you call out his name from behind. He turns around the balcony and sees you, never thought he would miss you so dearly.. “I’m back, sorry to make you wait.”
Jiang Cheng :
..Rampage. Pure rampage. He will wake everyone up. He will sent half of his disciples to search for you, he doesn’t get much sleep. But when you left him.. DID HE SLEEP A WINK? Not really because Jin Ling had to knock him out before his uncle goes crazy. I must say.. 3 years when you were gone, Jin Ling or Wei Wuxian had to knock Jiang Cheng out to sleep. THATS how much he will go through just to find you. The 2 always had to keep an eye on Jiang Cheng since he spends most of the time searching for you. Eventually, after years, 5 years to be exact. You were knocking at the door. “Wanyin, please open the door.” The moment he heard your voice, he SPRINTED. And immediately hugged you while crashing his lips to yours.

Untamed reaction (Lan Zhan, Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng)
Tumblr media
Requested by anonymous: Hello you can do a reaction Lan Zhan, Wei Ying, jiang Cheng. He has a little brother who is good and likes to play but he hurts his leg and recommends him rest so his brother takes care of him and has to carry him in his arms or something like that to make sure he is not running. For example for Lan Zhan when Wei Ying is catching fish in the back (I don't know if you know at the time of the series I'm referring to) and then the boy sees them and wants to play too and Lan Zhan arrives and picks him up
Warnings: none
A/N: I apologize for the long wait
Wei Wuxian:
Now Wuxian is a very reckless person himself, mostly because he doesn't really have a fear of getting hurt. But when you got hurt (by fishing weirdly enough) and were forced to stay indoors, Wuxian was there to help you. You were someone who was very active person, always running around (even though it wasn't allowed) and playing around. So being stuck in your room was not an option. So he carried you everywhere whether it was on his back, on his shoulder or simply in his arms. And he carried you like that everywhere... But one day, you couldn't sleep so you decided to go out on your own, not wanting to wake your brother. So you limped outside, leaning on every single thing that you could lean on.
"Yah, your not supposed to walk!" Someone exclaimed, making you flinch before turning around to look. Wuxian had woken, running behind you with a slight frown.
"I can't sleep, I just want to walk around a bit." You explained, but he shook his head and lifted you once again. You groaned, assuming that you were going back to bed until you noticed that you were moving further from your rooms.
"Let's go see the bunnies then!" He exclaimed and you smiled, nodding excitingly as he carried you there.
Lan Zhan:
How you broke your leg was simple in a way. You fell... from the roof. Yeah, were not getting into it anymore than that. But you stayed in the library most of the time, studying your lessons or reading or studying your music. Being carried everywhere was annoying for both you and your brother, Lan Zhan, so you avoided moving places to much. But some days, you didn't feel like doing that. Today was one of those days that you just sat in the library, looking out in front of you. You decided to just go out a bit and pushed yourself up. You hopped around and soon found yourself following the sounds of laughter, reaching the lake at the back of Cloud Recesses. You spotted Wei Wuxian and Nie Huaisang playing around in the water. You were a bit confused as to why, but nonetheless it soon brought a smile to your lips as you continued watching them.
That's when you suddenly felt water splash unto you and looked at them with wide eyes. You smirked, getting ready to jump in when you suddenly felt someone pull you back.
"Seriously?" A monotoned voice said and you looked up, seeing Lan Zhan staring at you.
"Can I not?" You asked and he shook his head, making you pout before looking up again with a smile.
"Carry me!" You outstretched your arms and he rolled his eyes, frowning after. You whined before yelping when he actually picked you up.
"Don't expect this more than once."
Jiang Cheng:
This man, my god. Tsundere is a good term for this guy and that goes for anything he does. Even when your hurt. When you hurt your leg by accident, he took care of you in his own way. Aka, he acted like he didn't care yet he carried you everywhere. So you were limping to class, he'd pick you up and complain about your limping. Or when you took a break from the walking (an activity that the Lans implemented for exercise) and he carried you while complaining that you were holding the whole group back. But you knew he meant well anyway, ignoring the remarks and instead focusing on the fact that he was helping you. That being said, today you didn't feel like being carried and instead opted on sneaking away from the group during the daily walk. So when everyone was in front of you, you became quiet and silently limped away. You supported yourself against trees, enjoying your surroundings until you heard rustling behind you. You weren't carrying your sword with you, so fear struck even more when you realized that. You turned, unfortunately too quickly, and landed flat on your butt. You looked up terrified, only to see Jiang Cheng standing in front of you. He looked down at where you were laying and you gave him an awkward smile.
"You are impossible, you know that?" He spoke, openly judging you and making you pout in return before you held your arms out.
"Help me." You spoke and he rolled his eyes, sighing loudly before grabbing you underneath your arms. He lifted you like how he would lift a child and you whined before simply wrapping yourself around him like a koala. You smiled down at him before hugging him close to yourself once again, burying your head in the crook of his neck. He said nothing, so you took it as a sign that he was fine with it and didn't stop. Instead, you felt his arms supporting your weight as he walked somewhere. You soon noticed that he was walking back to your room and frowned, lifting your head.
"Won't we get in trouble?" "Once more, yes. It's not like you aren't used to that already." He replied and you scoffed.
"I am a perfect student, how dare you." You answered, flicking his forehead and he scoffed.
"Yeah, sure. I certainly believe that." He replied and you glared at him angrily.
"Nevertheless, once more can't hurt."

Can you write a sequel for Jiang Cheng x reader, please?
Sure! I was thinking.. The reader is from Yunmeng but they travel alot, they visit JC and help him take care of JL. ( after the death of you know who... * cough * Yanli.. * cough * ) ( Jin Ling calls you jiuma since he already has a jiujiu okay? )
Sure enough you were sad that Yanli was gone, it’s been 3 years now. You really miss Yunmeng.. Jin Ling is already 3 years old! How time flies. But right now you were waiting for your nephew in the entrance with his uncle. “Y/N.” Jiang Cheng greets you and Jin Ling is in his arms, biting his hand. ( by his I mean Jiang Cheng ) “A-Ling, don’t bite your uncle Cheng-Cheng’s hand.” You say teasingly making Jiang Cheng groan in frustration. “Y/N, I told you not to call me that.” He reminds you but you don’t listen, Jin Ling reaches his hands towards you, gesturing that he wants you to carry him. “Jin Ling! Stay still you brat!” Jiang Cheng scolds the child but Jin Ling doesn’t listen “Jiuma..” He says opening and closing his palms, and almost slipping away from Jiang Cheng’s grasp. “Here, give me my nephew.” You extend your arms and Jiang Cheng hands you the infant “He’s so energetic, he only calms down when you’re around.” He tells you “Not my fault he adores his jiuma.” You tell him and he scoffs “Let’s go inside, it’s about to rain.” He tells you and leads you to your room ( a room near his and Jin Ling’s )
“How are you?” You ask him while you sit down on the side of the bed, with Jin Ling still in your arms. “Doing better than the last time he spilled ink on my papers.” He chuckles and you laugh while he tells you everything that’s been going on when you were travelling. “Really? That sounds fun!” You say and Jin Ling stares at the both of you confused “Jiuma.. A-Ling hungry.” He tugs your sleeve with puppy eyes “Hey, do you have food?” You ask Jiang Cheng “Don’t you ‘Hey’ me, and yes we do.” He tells you rolling his eyes on how you refer to him. “Alright angry lotus it is then.” You say going to the kitchen to prepare Lotus pork rib soup for Jin Ling and Jiang Cheng. You knew he needed it.
“You don’t have to cook it yourself though.” He tells you but you’re already rolling your sleeves and chopping off some ginger ( I had to research the recipe ) “Shush and let me cook for my dear nephew and the angry lotus jiujiu of his.” You tell him as you soak the pork ribs in cold water. He rolls his eyes and sits down in a nearby table “Hey Jiang Cheng, hand me the Goji berries.” You extend your palm and he puts down Jin Ling, coming over to help you. ( I just realized that the procedure takes so long.. Ya know, let’s just say they used cultivation to make it faster )
“Jiuma it smells good!” Jin Ling claps his hands enthusiastically and Jiang Cheng grabs a bowl but you grabbed it also “Oh- sorry, Here.” You both give the bowl to eachother but he lets you grab it in the end. “A-Ling, say ah.” You blow on the hot spoon filled with soup “Ah.” Jin Ling open’s his mouth wide and swallows it “Yummy?” You ask him “Yes! Even better than Jiujiu’s!” He tells you and Jiang Cheng scoffs. “Angry lotus, how’s it?” You ask him and he just continues eating “It’s fine.” Finally swallowing what he is chewing “Will jiujiu stay with jiuma and a-Ling?” Jin Ling asks you and Jiang Cheng “What do you mean?” He asks his nephew “Will you both sleep together with me?” He asks you both and you look at Jiang Cheng, he looks at you.. “I’ll be in the middle!” Jin Ling raises his hand and you thought that it was fine! The child is in the middle and the angry lotus was in the other end of the bed! “What do you say Jiang Cheng?” You ask him “It’s fine, he’s in the middle anyways.” He tells you but you see a faint blush on his cheeks. “Alright.” You say and Jin Ling smiles at the both of you.
After washing the dishes and wearing an extra layer of your night robe ( or whatever you call it ) You lay down near the edge of the bed, giving Jin Ling so much space. “Jiuma! Don’t be so far away from me and Jiujiu!” He tugs you closer and he brings a blanket for all of you. “Jiuma! Take this!” He hands you the blanket and you spread it, giving Jiang Cheng half of it. You make way for Jin Ling to lay down beside you both ( in his quite small bed ) “It’s kinda cramped here.. Are you sure you want BOTH of us next to you?” You ask him “Does jiuma don’t like jiujiu anymore?” He asks you back and Jiang Cheng turned his head towards you, blushing. “I-I.. Nevermind.. Sleep well Jin Ling, Jiang Cheng.” You say and turning your back to them. The next morning you feel something wrapping it’s arms around you ‘Who tf is this?’ You think and you open your eyes and see Jiang Cheng hugging you. Jin Ling was somehow pushed into the edge of the bed.. You were now in the middle, with a grown man hugging you, a child kicking your back ( while sleeping ), and being squished. Hell you weren’t prepared to feel a hard kick on your spine… Even though, you still feel comfortable even when it’s a small bed. ( needless to say Jin Ling maybe planned this because his jiujiu didn’t get the point. Thank him :D )

jiang cheng and lan xichen with a pregnant reader (bonus points if its multiples) please
Lots of baby fever going on here
MDZS Pregnant S/O Headcanons [JC; LXC]
Tumblr media
• If Jiang Cheng wasn’t protective of you before, he certainly is now. You are the woman he loves and will bear his child. He is set on making sure he doesn’t lose anyone else who means something to him.
• He stopped you from doing major activities, such as night hunting - yes you may get agitated but he is solely doing it for your safety. Jiang Cheng knows that he has made a multitude of enemies which automatically puts a target on your back. He won’t allow you to be hurt on his account so he ensures that you stay home with a number of maids and servants at your beck and call.
 • He starts going out less and merely focuses on you. Making sure that you are eating well, getting enough sleep, ensuring that you’re happy. He is constantly checking up on you - to the point where it actually starts getting annoying. All you do is shift and he immediately snaps his head towards you, panicked and shooting an array of questions.
•"Are you alright?" "Do you need anything?" "Did the water break!?"
•On the night the baby kicks, you witnessed his eyes practically lighting up with joy. He pressed his ear to your stomach, only to get a harsh kick. Of course, this didn't stop him. His hands continued to lightly feel around your swollen bump. However, when he started noticing kicks from two different angles it wasn't long before he excellently deducted you were having more than one child.
•This prompted him to be even more protective, to the point where he wouldn't let you out of his sight. Even going as far as to dump some of the work as Sect Leader on the poor, confused Wei Wuxian's shoulders.
•Everyone knows Jiang Cheng has a gift of horrible name choices. Judging by what his puppies were called, "Love", "Jasmine" etc. [Which Wei Wuxian mentioned multiple times were like names of women you would find at high-class brothels.] This meant you had to turn down every name he offered. Including "Y/N the second"
•When your water broke you had to rely on Jin Ling for a solid ten minutes because Jiang Cheng passed out on the spot.
•He was thrilled upon finding out that you had given birth to twin boys.
Tumblr media
•Lan Xichen would be beyond ecstatic the minute he found out you were pregnant. You did not think it was possible - but you started receiving even more affection and attention from the man. Whether it was daily cuddles, morning stomach kisses or midnight spooning where he can gently rub your baby bump.
•He starts dumping more and more work on Lan Wangji [who honestly would do anything to make sure his older brother is happy, prompting him to accept it without complaint] just so that he can spend more time with you.
•He fusses over you quite a lot. He even goes as far as cooking for you, so that he can feed you while you’re still in bed Despite you trying to assure him that you can do simple tasks by yourself.  Does he ever listen? No. He merely kisses your head, smiles and tells you that he is more than happy to assist you with everything.
•Lan Xichen speaks to the baby a lot. Sometimes you even tease him, saying that he talks to the baby more than you. [And for that - shame on you Y/N, he instantly gets panicked and starts apologizing for not giving you enough attention, do you think it's funny seeing him ramble?] Sometimes you both sit up all night with the male kissing and rubbing at your abdomen. He tells your future bundle of joy a variety of stories, varying from his childhood, to tall tales, to how much he loves them and how he - along with their future uncle Wangji - are going to spoil them beyond measure. One time he even ended up falling asleep while nuzzling your stomach.
•He cannot make his mind up on names. At times he sits up in the middle of snuggles, excitedly proclaiming a new name that came to his mind. To you, this is absolutely adorable, especially when he goes on a little rant about what the name means and why it would suit your future child.
•During your labour you swore he was freaking out more than you. It was as if he was the one giving birth. So there you sat, laid and pushing a baby out, trying to reassure him. Granted, he eventually snapped out of it but it was the funniest thing for most to witness.
•You had a baby girl!! Lan Xichen was relieved when it was over but was quickly sent into shock when the midwife shouted there was a second. And a third. He nearly passed out from joy upon finding out he had three new daughters.
