Many of the others in UA had a feeling something was wrong with Shoto. He didn't want to talk to anyone during this time nor wanted any to bother him. He felt like he needed time to himself so he remains by himself after class and school. Right now, he was looking out the window trying to gather his thoughts but he knew others would have asked if he was alright only for him to walk off saying he was fine.

Though, worrying about being like 'him' wouldn't help. He wouldn't be like his father nor behave like him. He just wouldn't be. While thinking this, he just ignored others that walk by him or try to talk to him.

Link? No, no Link isn’t here. Whoever Link once was, is gone. No more of the hero of Hyrule. He (they) were not Link. Link died along with the split of the soul that now has tried to become one once again but itstillhurtswhatdoIdo-

“LINK!” Hands grabbed at the body’s shoulders, trapping it against something soft but warm. They (he) struggled, gasping and fighting tooth and nail to get away because the damaged soul didn’t want to be trapped again it wanted to be whole. Please stop stay away have mercy-

“It’s okay Link. Everything is okay. You sealed Vaati away and you’re whole again.” The voice claimed. But was it really? Even now, the soul could feel emotions and thoughts fight. Trying to be in sync seemed like an impossible task set out by the gods themselves, to mock what once was a hero and turn it into an amalgamation of experiences that could never truly be complete.

Why was it cursed?

It cried out, water escaping its gray eyes as it struggled harder, even as the arms around it kept ever tight around its upper body. Soft words of care and love tried to penetrate the panic of agony of the once hero’s mind, but only red truly noticed. It tried desperately to grasp and hold these words in its invisible hands, but it slipped through like water.

It cried out. Stopstop calm please want calm!

Hurt why not one help-

Sad angry where being hurt-

Quiet head hurts stay neutral-

I’m sorry Link but you’re going to hurt yourself if you keep panicking. I’ll wake you up once we get you home.

The soft voice echoed through their (his) mind, blackness edging closer to the awake portion of the soul. Green, blue, violet, and red panicked, fighting desperately to stay aware.

It soon went dark.

Once again on my Ras & Danny being training rivals thanks to time travel bullshit. 

Look, Danny knows about the league of Assassins, but he almost dies of laughter when he realizes it’s the modern name of the league of Shadows. He’s an adult now, has been for a while, he’s allowed to find the situation he’s found himself in amusing. Hell, his sparring buddy who is somehow still alive is laughing too. 

And no one else knows what’s going on, okay? This random man walked into their secret base, completely ignored the many assassins trying to stop him, and called their illustrious leader a “Little Bitch Man” and they are now fighting?

The fighting is familiar, but why the fuck is Ras cackling and saying things like “Ayreh Feek” back. Practically saying “Fuck you,” while laughing and oh Pit, they’re Bantering this is terrifying, why has Ras not won yet, why has this man not died yet and- bodies aren’t supposed to bend like that what the fuck- 

Ras on the other hand, has One friend, who is immortal like him, actually remembers the shit he complains about, is also down for saving endangered animals, and actually knows how to spar! It’s not a proper spar unless someone loses at least a hand that has to be reattached! And honestly, people nowadays should know that the proper greeting to an old friend is to instantly try to kill the other.

I think one of the things I like the most about granada holmes is how they treat watson and his relationship with sherlock. I love that they're equals, that sherlock needs watson and admits it, that watson's a part of the investigations just as much as sherlock is. I love that they go about wandering through london, arms linked together, probably judging the shit out of everything and everyone together. they clearly enjoy each other's company and love spending time together. not just solving cases (which they both love doing), but also going to the opera and theatre together. just hanging out.

and in granada holmes, deduction is not something sherlock does while watson stands there confused and bored and lowkey embarassed about sherlock's behaviour, just there to write about it later, and to maybe shoot at someone. deduction in this show is a fun little game they do together, one that watson is increasingly good at and enjoys doing just as much as sherlock does. and I'd never realized just how much I miss that in a lot of adaptations.

in granada holmes, it's not sherlock-and-his-silly-dumb-sidekick-watson. in this show, they're running about together and having a grand ol' time of it.

Here's a little double the trauma for the price of one story for you folks.

So basically Danny got captured by the GIW and was experimented on / tortured until he died and was reincarnated as Danyal Al Ghul. He attempts to adapt to his grandfather's teachings but just can't get behind them unlike his older brother. This culminates in Danny getting caught trying to help an injured animal.

When he refuses to kill it, Ra's decides he's had enough and strikes Danny down then and there. Damian, who was watching all of this go down, disobeys his grandfather for the first time and attempts to resurrect Danny using the Lazarus pits. But Danny's body sinks to the bottom and doesn't return. This devastates Damian and Talia when she gets back.

Meanwhile Danny opens his eyes to find himself in the one place he never wanted to be again, the GIW research facility. The Lazarus pits had responded to the traces of ectoplasm within his body and opened up a portal back to his home dimension. All across the spider verse style you could say. Anyways Danny spends the next decade being experimented on while Damian spends it pretty close to canon albeit with a little more resentment towards Ra's and a little more grief towards the batfam (he feels like he's somehow replacing his little brother by hanging out with them).

Eventually a prison break happens within the GIW facility. Whether because they captured a powerful ghost like Pandora or something or because Clockwork did something, it doesn't matter. What matters is that Danny takes advantage of the chaos to go back through the very portal he got spit out of all those years ago.

Imagine the league's surprise when their youngest heir suddenly comes crawling out of the pits without looking even a day older than when he was first thrown in. The reason for this is because the scientists at the facility thought that Danny was growing in order to simulate being human and gain sympathy. He was always severely punished for this until the remaining ghost part of him eventually adapted to stop his human half from growing. He's now pretty much stuck at the age of 5 or so. Don't worry as he eventually heals from his trauma, he'll start growing again.

Anyways the league, especially Talia is trying to keep it on the downlow that Danny is back. She knows that if Damian finds out, he'll immediately come and try to take back his little brother. Unfortunately for them, they were a little too quiet and Damian gets hella suspicious. So he goes on a solo mission to see what they're up to. He sneaks into Nanda Parbat in the middle of the night and finds a sleeping boy in his baby brother's old room. At first Damian thinks that the league cloned his brother. But when Danny wakes up and stares at him with those big blue eyes he just knows.

So Damian takes Danny with him back home where the batfam is absolutely baffled about where he got this kid from. They're also flabbergasted when Damian speaks to the boy in soft Arabic and has the most gentle and loving expression on his face. This can't be the same demon brat right?

A while ago, my therapist talked to me about dialectical statements. They're two seemingly contradictory statements that are both true. I'm happy and I'm sad. I hate you and I love you.

We weren't talking about gender, of course, but it's what my mind jumped to. I'm a man and I'm a woman.

Dialectical statements aren't about having these statements fight until one is proven to be true and the other is proven to be false. Neither statement has to be more true than the other. You can let them exist in opposition to one another. Not even opposition, necessarily. They can just coexist.

You're meant to accept the contradiction, and that's what I'm doing. Trying to do, at least. I'm a man and a woman. I'm a contradiction. I'm trying to accept myself.
